On Defining Religion

  • What the West does not understand is that Islam admits that government control is central to Islam and that Muslims must, sooner or later, demand to live under an Islamic government.

  • The majority of the world does not understand that much of the American media is in a propaganda war against the Trump administration simply because he names Islamic jihad and would prefer to see a strong and prosperous America as a world leader rather than to see a dictatorship — secular or theocratic — as a world leader.

  • Islam claims to be an Abrahamic religion, but in fact Islam came to the world 600 years after Christ, not to affirm the Bible but to discredit it; not to co-exist with “the people of the book” — Jews and Christians — but to replace them, after accusing them of intentionally falsifying the Bible.

  • Islam was created as a rebellion against the Bible and its values, and it relies on government enforcement to do so.

  • Political and legal (sharia) Islam is much more than a religion. Is the First Amendment a suicide pact?

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) said that President Donald Trump’s 90-day ban on immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries is “a religiously based ban,” and “if they can ban Muslims, why can’t they ban Mormons.” This has become the position of the Democratic Party and the mainstream media, which has influenced not only the American public but has convinced the majority of the world that America is “bad.” How can we blame the world, and even a good segment of American citizens, for hating America when such disingenuous and misleading claims are aired to the world from US officials and broadcast by American television channels?

The majority of the world does not understand that much of the American media is in a propaganda war against the Trump Administration simply because he names Islamic jihad and would prefer to see a strong and prosperous America as a world leader, rather than to see a dictatorship — secular or theocratic — as a world leader. He ran as a Republican; meanwhile, Democrats and the mainstream media refuse to engage in respectful and legitimate debate on the most vital threat to Western civilization in the twenty-first century: Islam. Truth has become irrelevant; people seem to prefer a political game of tug-of-war to sway public opinion against the Trump Administration, and, presumably, to elect Democrats forever. That is how the system is set up.

Political discussions on television have become extremely frustrating; they have turned into shouting matches and name-calling at the least informative levels. Television hosts often become instigators and participants in the shouting matches. The thinking is apparently that the louder they get, the more attractive the program will be. Meanwhile everyone is talking at once; the viewer cannot hear anyone, so the program could not be more boring.

Under the US Constitution, freedom of religion is protected. and Islam has been welcomed inside the West on that basis as one of the three Abrahamic religions. According to Western values and the Western understanding of the word, “religion” is supposed to be a personal relationship with God, where free will is of utmost importance; the believer has authority only over himself or herself when it comes to religious laws or punishing sins (such as leaving the religion or committing adultery) — quite different from criminal laws intended to protect society. Western values also allow followers of a religion the freedom to proselytize, but never by resorting to government enforcement.

Bottom line, the Western definition of religion is in harmony with the Biblical values of the human rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and that all human beings are created equal under the law. It is considered a basic Western value to view God, family and country as a top priority.

Now let us compare these values to Islamic values:

  • Muslim citizens have the right to punish other citizens with humiliating, severe, cruel and unusual punishments such as death, flogging and amputation, for sinning against Allah, the Quran or Islam. Those “crimes” include leaving Islam, being a homosexual, or committing adultery. And if the Islamic government does not enforce such punishments, any Muslim on the street has the right to apply the punishment against another Muslim and not be prosecuted. That is why apostates, such as myself, cannot visit any Muslim county; the fear is not only from Islamic governments but from anyone on the street.

  • Being a Muslim is not a personal relationship with God, as it is under the Bible, but is enforced by the state at birth. When a child is born in Egypt to a Muslim father, the birth certificate is stamped “Muslim” and all government-issued documents as well. A child must learn Islamic studies in school and practice Islam throughout his life. In Egypt, the twin sons of a Christian divorced mother were forced to take Islamic studies and become Muslim just because their originally-Christian father converted to Islam. Today, in Egypt, I am still considered Muslim and such a status could never change if I ever lived there again.

  • Islamic law and leaders rely on government enforcement — under penalty of death — to keep Muslims within Islam and to convert the minority Christian population into Islam. Islamic sharia law, obliges Islamic states to enforce religious law, and if the Muslim head of state refuses to follow religious law, sharia permits the public to use force to remove the head of state from office.

  • Islam claims to be an Abrahamic religion, but in fact Islam came to the world 600 years after Christ, not to affirm the Bible but to discredit it; not to co-exist with “the people of the book,” Jews and Christians, but to replace them — after accusing them of intentionally falsifying the Bible. Islam was created as a rebellion against the Bible and its values, and relies on government enforcement to do so.

The tenets above are just a few of the differences in values between Islam, the Bible and the Western concept of religion. What the West does not understand is that Islam admits that government control is central to Islam, and Muslims must demand to live under an Islamic government sooner or later. That might explain the reason for the eternal violence in nearly all Muslim countries, between government being in the hands of a religious theocracy or of the military. Islam, as it is practiced today, has violated all Western definitions of religion and values.

Political and legal (sharia) Islam is much more than a religion. Is the First Amendment a suicide pact?

Lady Liberty Cried

The Moral and Intellectual Clarity to Win

By Justin O. Smith

Sent 2/6/2017 12:37 PM

Lady Liberty had a single tear trickle down Her cheek on January 27th as Her breasts heaved with happiness and relief that a U.S. President, Donald Trump, was finally implementing a sound, logical and sane common-sense approach to who receives visas and permission to enter the United States. However, Lady Liberty cried profusely, upon learning that President Trump’s ban on travelers from seven predominantly Muslim nations was only temporary.

On January 27th, Pres. Trump placed a 120 day block on all refugees and a 90 day ban on travel from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, and Somalia. Three of these countries are U.S.-designated sponsors of terror and the rest are war zones; this is about the safety and security of the American people, and it is far from discrimination against Muslims.

Congressional members of both parties have promised a biometric entry-exit tracking system on visas for over two decades, and the 9/11 National Commission on Terror Attacks on the United States recommended it thirteen years ago, noting that forty percent of all illegal aliens simply overstayed their visa just like many of the nineteen 9/11 terrorists. Section 7 of President Trump’s executive order calls for this biometric system that has long been delayed by lobbyists from foreign governments, universities, immigration legal firms and the ACLU.

And now, with the flames of violence fanned by the Leftist media, America is witnessing violent social convulsions from Berkeley, CA to New York City. Violent communists and anarchists, supported and largely financed by the American Communist Party and the billionaire trouble-maker George Soros, are attacking any conservative counter-protester with pepper-spray and poles, and they are setting fire to their cities.

The Washington Post quoted protesters outside the White House saying, “Islamophobia is unpatriotic” and chanting “Let them go … Let them in”.

Videos out of the University of California at Berkely show protesters screaming, “No borders, no nations, f— deportations! … No walls, no borders, f— executive orders!”

The Left fears that Trump’s executive order is the first step towards a return to pre-1965 immigration policies that favored Western Christians. The Progressive Communists of the Democratic Party have advocated their anti-Western, anti-Christian ideology for over four decades, and they have promoted open borders, globalization and endless immigration from the Third World, in order to destroy America’s Founding Principles through a dangerous form of multiculturalism that encourages ethnic separation and authoritarian government in a hellish “utopia”. [Blog Editor: I’m not always a fan of Natural News as a source nevertheless, this article paints a picture Americans are witnessing right before their eyes.]

If this executive order was truly a “Muslim” ban, as asserted by the Leftist “mainstream” media, why didn’t it include forty other Muslim majority countries, including Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, where Christians are regularly intimidated and persecuted?

Even if this had been the full Muslim ban once proposed by Trump, so what?

An indisputable fact, America is a nation of immigrants, but entering America is a privilege, not a right, and since 1882, Congress was seen as having broad authority over this issue, as our nation’s lawmaker. The U.S. President, too, has broad discretion, under the law, for national security purposes to bar a class of person detrimental to the U.S. from entering the country. Any country, including America, cannot maintain its national security, traditions, cultural identity – its heritage – unless it approves or denies entrants based on the country of origin.

Isn’t it revealing that every country listed by President Trump bans Israeli citizens?

Reuters reported on January 31st that the Council on American – Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Muslim Brotherhood organization, was preparing a legal challenge. CAIR contends “the order targets Muslims because of their faith, contravening the U.S. Constitutional right to freedom of religion”.

Contrary to the assertions of Islam’s apologists, the so-called “religion of peace” is a manifest and existential evil ideology, and the Muslim Brotherhood is just as committed to the destruction of America and the West as its Al Qaeda and Islamic State associates. Islam and its followers are at the center of this debate regarding America’s national security, because they are at the center of so much terror and death around the world, a “religion” [ideology] that professes to be good and “peaceful” with millions of its faithful followers actively supporting or waging violent jihad, killing apostates, hanging homosexuals and stoning women.

Senator Chuck Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi  shed fake tears over President Trump’s so-called “Muslim ban”, and yet Pres. Obama banned Iraqis in 2011 after two Iraqi terrorists were discovered in Bowling Green, KY selling arms to terrorists back home in Iraq. Did they cry then? Did they cry for the victims of 9/11? Boston? San Bernadino and a litany of other U.S. cities? And have they shed a tear or castigated Japan for its nearly complete ban on Muslims? Americans might like to hear those answers.

Several independent studies (Rasmussen, Harvard, PEW) show that a full quarter of the 230,140,996 million “moderate” Muslims of Indonesia (total population 258,316,051 million) support the goals of the terrorist groups of Al Qaeda, Hamas and Hezbollah. Overall, approximately one-third of all Muslims approve of Hamas and one-quarter hold Hezbollah in high esteem. And, just as troubling, 15 percent of Muslims in Turkey, a NATO ally, support suicide bombings.

Thousands of educated Muslims worldwide probably acknowledge that the violent terrorism of the Islamofascists, who are fighting in North Africa and the Middle East, is driven by a political ideology embedded in Islam, the Koran and the Hadith (the teachings of Mohammed). [Oxford & IrqaSense.com – pro-Islam] And while a few hundred of these enlightened Muslims might actually seek the reform of Islam, millions more of devout Muslims still follow the Koran quite literally, quickly dismissing any attempt to reform Islam as heresy; many of these are the same Muslims who refuse to fully integrate into any host nation they reside, as blatantly witnessed in the United Kingdom and France, and even in some parts of the United States.

From the Hadith: “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror …” — Sahih al Bukhari 4:52:220

President Trump’s travel ban is more about the preservation of everyday ordinary American lives and liberty, and it has nothing to do with Islamophobia, racism, fascism or xenophobia. Anyone with a modicum of common-sense can understand that Muslim immigrants require greater scrutiny, especially in light of several past visa screenings that failed to identify foreign nationals who later committed Islamic-inspired terrorist attacks in America.

Isn’t now the time for the majority of Americans to demand an immediate and permanent ban on all Muslim immigration?

“We only want to admit those into our country who will support our country and love deeply our people,” President Trump said, shortly after announcing the travel ban.

President Donald Trump has the moral and intellectual clarity to win this religious war, because he can name the enemy, and he has the courage of his convictions. He is already reminding Americans of their country’s proud heritage and exceptionalism, while he refuses to allow the intolerant Islamofascists to turn our tolerance and charity  —  our strength — into weakness.

America’s leaders cannot be so overly sensitive in defending other cultures that they stop defending ours. A sane immigration and refugee policy won’t make the Muslims hate America any more than they already do; they hate us simply because we exist. And in the end, if we follow President Trump’s lead, America will be kept safe and Americans will rediscover their Western identity and the Judeo-Christian principles that made America the Greatest Nation on Earth.

And Lady Liberty will smile again.

They’ve fought to stop the inauguration
They’re fighting to destroy our nation

While 700,000 protesters are converging on Washington D.C. for Inauguration Day—in addition to anti-Trump rallies planned in dozens of cities across the country—the political groups behind the protests remain shrouded in mystery. As Fox News Channel first reported, Civil War 2017 uncovers an extensive network of neo-Marxist operatives coordinating highly disruptive and potentially violent protests from coast to coast.

Working with Dangerous Documentaries, director Judd Saul and conservative commentator Trevor Loudon have compiled a team of researchers and undercover operatives to probe the roots of the anti-Trump movement, highlighting the ultimate goals and ulterior motives. Mr. Loudon, a regular contributor to Glenn Beck’s online programming, is the foremost expert on the left-wing organizers of mass protests.

Interfaith Harmony between Islam and Other Religions?

can-islam-be-peaceful

My Brother in Christ Shamim Mahmood was involved in the Pakistan version of the World Interfaith Harmony Week is a feel-good annual global event instituted by the United Nations in 2011:

World Interfaith Harmony Week is an annual event to be observed during the first week of February starting in 2011.

World Interfaith Harmony Week was proclaimed by the General Assembly in resolution A/RES/65/5 adopted on 20 October 2010. In the resolution, the General Assembly, points out that mutual understanding and interreligious dialogue constitute important dimensions of a culture of peace and establishes World Interfaith Harmony Week as a way to promote harmony between all people regardless of their faith.

Recognizing the imperative need for dialogue among different faiths and religions to enhance mutual understanding, harmony and cooperation among people, the General Assembly encourages all States to support during that week the spread of the message of interfaith harmony and goodwill in the world’s churches, mosques, synagogues, temples and other places of worship, on a voluntary basis and according to their own religious traditions or convictions. (World Interfaith Harmony Week; United Nations)

It is my opinion most of the world’s religions can have a cooperative dialogue; however once one or more religions become upset with one or more other religions proselytizing among adherents, then I suspect the cooperation will come to a screaming halt. And yet if competition halts cooperation, most religions are tolerant enough in their belief systems to not erupt into riotous violence in these modern days of the 21st century – THAT IS except one religion in particular. ISLAM!

Let’s look at the significant religious tenets of some major religions in relation to dealing with hostile people against a particular faith.

Buddhism

Much like Christianity Buddhism has various sects that I am not going to examine. There is a central belief among all Buddhists on violence even there is doctrinal disagreement on other issues.

The Buddhist tradition is most clearly associated with non-violence and the principle of ahimsa (“no harm”). By eliminating their attachments to material things, Buddhists try to combat covetousness, which in itself has the potential to become a source of anger and violence against others. …  Some Buddhist texts do sanction taking human lives in exceptional cases to protect the sangha or defend the innocent. However, most Theravada and Mahayana Buddhists today reject even these exceptional justifications of killing. … (Buddhism on Peace and Violence; Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World AffairsGeorgetown University)

More thoughts on contemporary Buddhism in regard to violence: Buddhism: Peaceful or Violent Religion? By ALAN PETO; AlanPeto.com; 6/23/13)

Hinduism

The subject of violence has engaged the best minds in India’s religious history. Although Mohandas K. Gandhi has made non-violence synonymous with Hinduism, the tradition has long recognized legitimacy of violence under some circumstances. The dominant, pragmatic approach has endorsed violence when necessary to protect one’s state or people from external or internal attacks. A divergent tradition, insisting on the complete renunciation of violence, was ascendant during the period of the Upanishads. It asserted that violent action must, by the law of karma, produce a violent reaction, and that any action that promotes the interest of one at the expense of another individual is rooted in spiritual delusion that obscures the single spiritual reality—Brahman. The conflict between these competing approaches to force constitutes the heart of the Bhagavad Gita, a dialogue between the god Krishna and the mighty warrior Arjuna, who refused to fight in a righteous cause. Krishna explains that violence is not only necessary for the defense of justice, but that such violence need not conflict with spiritual life. The contradiction between the two values is resolved by disciplined action (action without regard for its fruit), insightful action (recognizing the true nature of the self), and complete devotion to Krishna. (Hinduism on Peace and Violence; Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World AffairsGeorgetown University)

Most Americans think of Hinduism as a non-violent faith. Compared to Islam it is true but compared to the central tenets of Christianity (not often observed by history’s Christian rulers), Hinduism can have a violent side. Read these cherrypicked excerpts from the essay entitled “The Co-Existence of Violence and Non-Violence in Hinduism”:

The most famous Hindu of all times, Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) is widely perceived, especially in the West, as embodying the Hindu worldview and ethos. Gandhi made ahimsa (non-violence) the cornerstone of his philosophy and practice and spoke of it as constituting the essence of Hinduism. …

n recent years, several Hindu organizations have become aggressive and militant in rhetoric and method, reminding us that while Gandhi championed the ethic of ahimsa, there are ancient traditions within Hinduism which sanction violence under certain circumstances and that ahuimsa and himsa (violence) have coexisted uneasily in Hinduism for centuries. The relationship between violence and non-violence is a complex one and Gandhi’s representation of Hinduism must be properly contextualized.

Vedic society in ancient India did not scrupulously adhere to ahimsa as its highest value. Sacrificial rites involved the slaying of animals and Indra, one of most popular deities of the Vedic period has many warrior-like attributes. While Manu (ca.200 B.C.E.-100 C.E.), ancient India’s influential lawgiver, lists ahimsa among the general human virtues, the ksatriyas are exempt. He permits killing in self-defence and for implementing the injunctions of the Vedas. Two of the most popular epics in the Hindu tradition, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata culminate in lengthy and violent battles.

… We see quite clearly from the Bhagavadgita that while the tradition upholds the ultimacy of non-violence, exceptions are made for the use of violence. The Mahabharata war is referred to, in the Bhagavadgita, as a dharma yuddha. A dharma yuddha is a war fought in defence of justice and righteousness and for the security and well being of the community (lokasamgraha). …

The final characteristic of a dharma yuddha that I want to mention is that violence is justified as a last resort and only after peaceful methods of conflict resolution are exhausted. …

It is clear, therefore, that there are influential traditions within Hinduism which justify the use of violence under certain circumstances and which understand the use of violence to be consistent with the Hindu world-view. While it is true that ancient texts, such as the Upanisads, refer frequently to ahimsa, these texts were traditionally meant for seekers of liberation (moksa) who had entered the last of the four stages of life (samnyasa). Such persons were ritually freed from social and familial obligations and dedicated to the quest for liberation. READ ENTIRETY (The Co-Existence of Violence and Non-Violence in Hinduism; By Anantanand Rambachan; World Council of Churches)

Christianity

The practice of Christianity as embraced by varying nations that would define themselves as Christian have not followed the tenets set down during the earthly walk of Jesus Christ and the Christ’s amplifications as placed into words by direct followers of Jesus Christ. Many atrocities have occurred in history by Christian rulers in the name of Christianity that I am certain the Lord Jesus would have rebuked them:

51 Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him [i.e. Jesus] to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem, 52 and sent messengers before His face. And as they went, they entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare for Him. 53 But they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem. 54 And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?”[a]

55 But He [i.e. Jesus] turned and rebuked them,[b] and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. 56 For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.[c] And they went to another village. (Bold text Editor’s – Luke 9: 51-56 NKJV)

Insulting Jesus was not lead to riotous violence. The Beatitudes sums up how Christians should act on a personal level:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven
. (Matthew 5: 3-10 NKJV)

The Lord Jesus Christ continues with the Sermon on the Mount (excerpted for the point):

11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder,[a] and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause[b] shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,[b] 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. (Matthew 5: 11, 21-25, 43-45 NKJV)

The New Testament is full of the sentiment of DO NO HARM. As an individual, this is a journey to ever closed to the paradigm of Jesus Christ. Don’t abandon the paradigm because of other’s actions, rather stay on your journey. If you slip into a ditch. GET UP! And crawl out of the ditch to get back onto the journey of the Christ paradigm.

Christians are to defend themselves though. The defense should not be acted out of hate or revenge. Rather the defense is to protect the community. Protection does not mean pillaging and raping. It means protection.

Islam

In full disclosure and if you haven’t figured it out, I am a Christian. I am definitely not a perfect Christian and yet I am devoted to Truth as presented in the Word of God, especially in the New Testament. One standard of trust in of whose I am is John 14:6:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (Bold Text Editor’s NKJV)

I have to guess all religions believe they hold the keys of Truth. I don’t have a problem with that until anyone representing a different faith or secular ideology tries to force me to think divergently from the Truth I trust. One such religion targeting the belief system of Christianity are the writings revered by Muslims in the Islam way.

Christian Truth: Jesus Christ is the Son of God:

Matthew 16:13-17

13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”

14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. (Bold Text Editor’s NKJV)

John 5:17-23

17 But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

18 Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. 19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. (Bold Text Editor’s NKJV)

Quran 19: 88-95

88. And they say, “The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son.”

89. You have done an atrocious thing.

90. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation

91. That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son.

92. And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son.

93. There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant.

94. He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting.

95. And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. (SAHIH INTERNATIONAL)

This Quranic section is a mere tip of the iceberg in the anti-Christian writings inherent in Islam. And I am not even going into the anti-Jewish sections and the violence that ordered upon Christians, Jews and all non-Muslims who do not bow in submission to Islam’s moon god allah and its pseudo-prophet Muhammad.

A website that provides a brief of more anti-Christian surahs can be located here: “Does Jesus ever claim to be God, or the son of God?

Keep this in mind my fellow believers in Christ Jesus the Son of God, Lord and Savior:

1 John 2: 18-19, 22-23; 4: 13-15; 5: 19-20

2:

18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the[a] Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

My above thoughts are a demonstration of skepticism that the government of the Islamic Republic is serious about ending Islamic Supremacism in the Pakistan Constitution. If Pakistan amends their Constitution to deliver the same Religious Freedom – including the Free Speech to share a non-Muslim faith without fear of retribution – that Sunni Islam enjoys, then I will be less skeptical.

At any rate, below is Shamim Mahmood’s participation and hope of the success of interfaith harmony between religious faiths in Pakistan.

Power of interfaith transforms fear, anger & hatred into positive human relationship: Diplomats

Islamabad, February 04: Diplomats based in the federal capital have highlighted the fact that prevailing world security situation has necessitated need of interfaith harmony to convert the world into a better living place. It is high time for power of interfaith to work effectively to transform fear, anger and hatred into positive human relationship”.

Addressing a seminar titled “World Interfaith Harmony Week 2017” organized under the banner of “Parliament of the World’s Religions” [Blog Editor: The Parliament is an international organization. My antivirus software flags its website as a yellow risk. Wikipedia has a good history.] the Ambassador of Poland H.E Piotr Opalinski said that every person reserved the very right to manifest his religion or belief either individually or in community, with others and in public or private in worship, observance, he-mr-piotr-a-opalinski-polish-amb-to-pakistan-2practice and teaching without fear of intimidation, discrimination, violence or attack.

Piotr Opalinski reiterated that freedom of religion or belief was fundamental right of every human being.

H.E Ms. Marshal Anne, deputy head of European Delegation said that in the line with universal and EU human rights are committed to respecting, protecting and promoting freedom of religion or belief within their borders.

While speaking at the occasion H.E Joao Paulo Sabido Costa, Charge d’Affaires of h-e-joao-paulo-sabido-costa-portugalPortugal proclaimed that States have a duty to protect all persons within their jurisdiction from direct and indirect discrimination on grounds of religion o belief, whatever the reason advanced for such discrimination.

Ambassador of “Parliament of the World’s Religion” Mr. Shamim said that limitations to this freedom have to be strictly interpreted. He said that minorities have been increasingly targeted in hate in the country. Faiths do not bind in limits but allows social harmony and mutual tolerance for a better and progressive society. It is need of the day to enhance mutual understanding, harmony and cooperation among people from all faiths, he added.

Reference to the General Assembly resolution adopted on 20th October, 2010, the Parliament of the World’s Religions has organized “World Interfaith Harmony Week” to promote mutual understanding and inter-religious dialogue to establish interfaith harmony.

Members of civil society, religious leadership, media personal and diplomats have attended the event.

More Myths Debunked – Like About Islam in Spain

By Elsa Schieder

Sent 1/29/17 5:20 am

Via World Truth Summit

I’m writing to you because more myths have been debunked.

Myth One. Islam in Spain was a multicultural paradise, with Muslims, Christians and Jews living in harmony under benign Islamic rule. I always knew that was a myth. Now: proof.

Myth Two. The Crusaders murdered millions of Islamics.

Myth Three. CO2 is bad for the planet. I had to learn that CO2 isn’t causing global warming (which is hardly happening). Now I’ve come across another bit of very interesting information.

Finally, for those of you who want more tools to reach people about Islam, a course on Islam from Bill Warner, to debunk myths and install a solid foundation of facts.

“You have to read this book,” I heard from a couple of people in the last few days. The book: The Myth of the Andalusian Paradise by Dario Fernandez-Morera, Northwestern University professor and Harvard PhD. I read the outline and breathed a sigh of relief. As I said, it’s never made sense to me that Islamic rule in Spain could have been benign for Christians and Jews.

But I had nothing more to say than that, while those making the claim were sure it was an irrefutable fact: Islam in Spain was practically heaven on earth.

My answer was lame. I said I would have to look into their claim, and that my concern was Islam now – where it was anything but benign.

Dario Fernandez-Morera has come to my rescue. The evidence is grim: the total decimation of Christianity and Judaism in all areas held by Islam; slavery, including sex slavery, in areas held by Islam; the destruction of all Christian churches in these areas.

Three things.

One. Fernandez-Morera’s credentials are impeccable. Not only does he have a PhD from Harvard, he’s been on the US Council for the Humanities and has written several other impeccably researched books.

Two. He draws on massive research, the sources (in 8 languages) impeccably documented.

Three. The book is a page-turner. In other words, it’s exactly what those against truth, against seeing Islam as it is, don’t want: for the truth to be a pleasure to learn, fascinating, enthralling – and out go the lies!!

Does that mean you have to read the book? No. It’s like a gun. You don’t have to use it, just because you have it. This book is a weapon against the myth that Islam in Spain was a multicultural paradise. Just wave it at anyone uttering the myth.

It’s so good to have a suitable tool – like a can opener to open a can. Inside this can: Islam in Spain, as it was.

About Islamic slavery. Maybe you knew, but I didn’t, that Cervantes, author of Don Quixote, was long a slave of Islamics. He was sold to several Islamic masters of varying degrees of cruelty. He recorded the torture he witnessed – casual, brutal, deadly. Don Quixote not surprisingly includes a negative depiction of Islam, including Islamic slavery. (There’s a link online to much more information on him.)

Of course none of the references to Islam made it into The Man of La Mancha, the musical based on Cervantes’ book. Instead, the musical is just about a sweet old man tilting at windmills and singing To Dream the Impossible Dream.

Moral of the story: any allegation that Islam has been benign deserves serious exploration. The allegation is unlikely to survive.

Here’s The Myth of the Andalusian Paradise:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/

And here are lots more links, to interviews with the author (from 10 minutes to 3 hours) and to reviews:
http://elsasblog.com/170129-myth-debunked-islam-in-spain.html

Here’s another myth possibly biting the dust – the myth that Crusaders murdered millions of Islamics in their wars of conquest.

You almost certainly already know that the Crusades, far from being about a group of insane Christians out to butcher as many Islamics as possible, were the SLOW response to the Islamic invasion of Christian territories, and to cries for help from fellow Christians. That’s one myth debunked.

However, when the Crusades finally got going, did the Crusaders kill millions of Islamics (of course, those would be still be self-initiated deaths)? Nick T. van Riel did some math:

Crusaders simply didn’t have the time. All these “millions of Muslims” had to be killed by hand because Crusaders simply didn’t have weapons of mass destruction. For example, killing of “only” 1,000,000 Muslims during the 25 yrs of active war would mean an average of 110 Muslims a day, based on a 24/7 “workweek.”

(Link online, and also more detail: http://elsasblog.com/170129)

Van Riel contrasts the allegations that millions of Muslims were killed with the record of “death by Islam”:

1,400 yrs of killing with 270,000,000 innocent people dead, means an average of 528 murders a day till today. Note that Islam is still waging war 24 hours a day.

Now, from history to the present day, and from Islam to the claims about CO2. You almost certainly have heard the charge that global warming is caused by CO2. You also almost certainly know that this claim has been debunked. In case, you want sources: http://elsasblog.com/climate-change-theories.html

But a new piece of information (new to me, anyway) recently came my way: the increase in CO2 is very likely extremely beneficial – more plants, more crops, more food. The sources for this claim are first rate, including Patrick Moore, a scientist and co-founder of Greenpeace who now labels himself the sensible environmentalist:
http://elsasblog.com/170128-more-co2-is-good.html

Behind this debunking of myths and celebration of facts is the question: who benefits from these myths screening reality?

Who benefits from people in the West holding onto the delusion about Islamic Spain as, basically, an earthly paradise? The West absolutely does not benefit. Islam benefits. Does any other force also benefit? If so, it’s also clearly inimical to the West.

And who benefits from the delusion that we must cut CO2 emissions? Again, the West absolutely does not benefit – so whoever is involved is likewise inimical to the West.

Behind the question, who benefits, is an assumption: what is going on is not something that is just happening. The evidence is so clear, for instance, in The Myth of the Andalusian Paradise: we have been, and are being, fed lies. That doesn’t just happen. ]Bold text by Blog Editor]

The people regurgitating the myth aren’t lying; they’re repeating. But the myth makes no sense, except as something deliberately created to mislead. For instance, one doesn’t need to look further than to Cervantes, for accounts of Islam, including Islamic enslavement, torture and casual murder of Christians, that shatter the myth.

And with that, all the best to all of us who care and dare,

Elsa

PS. Insanity of the week. An Anglican priest has been forced from his job as Chaplain to Queen Elizabeth because he objected to a verse from the Quran being read during an Anglican church service. The verse denies Jesus as the Son of God.

PPS. Sanity of the week. Trump has made good on his campaign promise to temporarily halt (120 days) most refugee intake so “extreme vetting” can be put in place.

ELSA, TRUTH SLEUTH: MY JOURNEY INTO ISLAM

 Elsa Schieder – Truth Sleuth

It could be about, how I came to find the wonder of Islam.

The words that come into my mind: The Heart of Darkness, the title of a novel by Joseph Conrad.

What I mean is that I found so many things I did not expect, so many things I could not admire. I would have loved to find a religion of peace. I did not. I feel as if I slowly stepped into a cave, slowly found lights, and had to recoil from what I found.

In one corner, the corpses of 600-900 dead Jews, murdered by Mohammed. The story isn’t one I found in early versions of his story that I came across. But it’s right there, hinted at in the Qu’ran, and spelled out in detail in the Sira and Hadiths (very revered Islamic religious texts). The story is right there.

But I didn’t find the story until late in my exploration, when I already had a good idea of what kinds of things I’d be coming across.

The early explorations were much more tentative.

After all, I was told Islam was a religion of peace. But something did not make sense.

It was a bit like READ THE REST

It’s time to spread the word against Islamic Supremacists and Leftists spewing bigoted hate toward those ONLY telling the truth about what is in the Quran, Hadith and Sira of Islam.

For those who have Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, we ask that you show your support for Brigitte and Ayaan, by using the hashtag #IStandWithBrigitteAndAyaan, which was started by Dave Rubin, host of The Rubin Report and an open-minded ally of true human rights.

One Islamic Supremacist to look at is Linda Sarsour. She is a Palestinian-American that grew up in Brooklyn New York. Because of heritage she is fully supportive of Jew-hating Palestinians who would rather destroy Israel and rename the whole area Palestine. A name created by the Romans to dishonor Jews and a word roughly created by the League of Nations after WWI that was an area of land formerly occupied by Turkey to create a Jewish Homeland. The League gave the British the Mandate to make that happen. Instead the British carved out a large eastern portion to reward the Hashemite Clan aid to defeat the Turks in WWI. The Hashemites called the carved out Palestinian land Transjordan. When the Hashemites joined the surrounding Arab nations to destroy Israel at its birth in 1948, the Transjordanian army (called the Arab Legion) was the only invader that came out substantially ahead.

The Transjordan monarch stole more Palestinian land designated for Jews and called it the West Bank because it was west of the Jordan River. The Hashemite King then officially incorporated his conquered land into his Kingdom renaming the nation Jordan.

The irony of the Jordanian conquest of the land called Judea and Samaria by Israel, is that British Officers ran the Arab Legion thus providing British military strategy for the Jordanian army to conquer land designated for a Jewish Homeland to Jordan. Essentially abandoning the British Mandate’s purpose.

But I digress.

The Arabs that call themselves Palestinians whom Linda Sarsour supports are essentially under the management of a group of Islamic terrorists. The larger group of terrorists is recognized by the USA as the Palestinian Authority (PA); however, the real governing entity is the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) which is a union of Arab terrorists dominated by the Fatah terrorists. Another Islamic terrorist organization called Hamas is the effectual governing entity of what a map will tell you is the Gaza Strip. Hamas doesn’t pretend to seek peace with Israel as the PLO dominated PA does, but calls for the bloody death of all Jews and the total destruction of Israel.

Linda Sarsour defends and promotes the concepts of a Palestine sovereign nation on Jewish land. Also as a true Muslim Apologist she makes deceptive statements to non-Muslim Americans implying Islam is peace and Sharia is the best form of law.

Ironically Fox News has come to Sarsour’s aid by calling her Counterjihad critics producers of Fake News:

In the days since she helped organize the massive Women’s March on Washington, the Brooklyn-born, hijab-wearing activist has been targeted on the internet by false reports that she supports Islamic State militants and favors replacing the U.S. legal system with Islamic religious law.

On social media, critics have circulated a photo of her holding up one finger, like a sports fan celebrating a championship, and claimed she’s giving “the ISIS one-fingered salute.” In fact, she is on record as calling the Islamic State a global cancer.

Other posts have falsely claimed that she supports the imposition of Islamic law on the U.S., citing, as evidence, a sarcastic tweet she made in 2015 that was actually intended to ridicule conspiracy theories about secret Muslim plots to take over the American legal system.

Bloggers and conservative websites also circulated a picture of her at a convention of Muslim civic leaders, standing with a group of people that included a Milwaukee activist whose brother was arrested in Israel in 1998 and convicted of giving $40,000 to a Hamas leader. The photo, they said, was proof of “ties” to Hamas.

“Ludicrous,” said Sarsour, who was out rallying again Wednesday night in her hometown of New York City, …

The online attacks, Sarsour said, were the work of “fake news purveyors” and “right-wing media outlets recirculating false information.” READ ENTIRETY (Attacks target Muslim-American activist after DC march; Deepti Hajela; Fox News; 1/26/17)

So, is it actually Fake News that Sarsour wants Sharia in America and is supportive of Islamic terrorists? The website The Secular Brownie examines some Sarsour tweets. Those tweets do not explicitly call for Sharia and the support of Islamic terrorism, BUT she either uses deceptive qualifiers or does not condemn Islamic terrorist attacks. The tweets expose Linda Sarsour’s true allegiance:

Linda Sarsour was the head of the Women’s March in the United States.  There is a great irony and contradiction in letting someone who deflects criticism from the misogynistic Saudi Arabia lead the Women’s March.  Let’s examine some tweets.

saraour-tweet1

She’s basically saying “women not having the right to drive in Saudi Arabia shouldn’t be a big deal because they get 10 weeks paid maternity leave.”  Do you not realize she’s talking about a place where the culture only values women as mothers and wives?  If the culture favored women as solely housewives/mothers don’t you think incentives for pregnancy would exist?

saraour-tweet-2

In this tweet she attempts to deflect criticism from the headscarf and women’s covering by trivializing it as a social issue. … This is for a woman to have the right to choose.  If the government is so invasive of women’s bodily expressions, wouldn’t you call that misogynistic, sexist, etc.?  As a “feminist”, how do you fail to see this?

saraour-tweet-3

… It’s similar to saying “racism doesn’t exist in the United States because Barack Obama was president.”  In some of these countries there is honor violence, and even sharia courts that punishes rape victims.  But of course, they have women leaders, therefore “no sexism.”

saraour-tweet-4

She is basically defending Sharia Law in this tweet.  Does she not realize that as an apostate, I would be subject to capital punishment in Saudi Arabia and homosexuals would be punished in some way? … Women who complained about rape needed the testimony of four witnesses in Sharia court, which they could not find, making them subject to public stoning.  Of course despite all this, Linda brags about the interest free loans in Sharia and ignores who would be marginalized in that system.

Of course Linda had to spin the narrative.

saraour-tweet-5

She’s basically saying her haters don’t want to see her succeed because she’s Arab. …

… Through her wording she made it seem like she was under danger and the left needed to unite against these “right wingers” (just for challenging someone’s feminist convictions.) READ ENTIRETY (Linda Sarsour’s Awkward Defensiveness Over Saudi Oppression That The Left Seems To Ignore; The Secular Brownie; 1/24/17)

And finally, FrontPageMag has sniffed out Linda Sarsour’s support of Islamic terrorism and Sharia either directly or by association (e.g. her husband):

In 2004, Sarsour acknowledged that a friend of hers as well as a cousin were both serving long sentences in Israeli jails because of their efforts to recruit jihadists to murder Jews. Moreover, she revealed that her brother-in-law was serving a 12-year prison term because of his affiliation with Hamas.

Speaking of creepy realtives, Sarsour’s husband, Maher Judeh, mourned the 1998 death of the Hamas “master terrorists” Adel and Imad Awadallah; he praised the heroism of a Palestinian Authority police officer who had carried out a shooting attack at a checkpoint in Israel; he has expressed support for the terrorist organization Fatah; and he has lauded the founder of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a Marxist-Leninist revolutionary organization.

In May 2012 Sarsour tweeted that the so-called “underwear bomber,” an Al-Qaeda operative who in 2009 had tried to blow up a Detroit-bound passenger jet in mid-flight, was actually a CIA agent participating in America’s “war on Islam.”

In November 2012 in Baltimore, Sarsour—ever eager to peddle her woeful tale of Islamic victimhood—spoke at a Muslim Public Affairs Council conference titled “Facing Race: Xenophobic Hate Crimes.” This is the same Council that views the murderous Jew-haters of Hezbollah as members of “a liberation movement” that is “fighting for freedom.”

In August 2015 Sarsour spoke out in support of the incarcerated Palestinian Islamic Jihad member Muhammad Allan, a known recruiter of suicide bombers.

According to CounterJihad.com, Sarsour has attended and spoken at numerous rallies sponsored by Al-Awda, a group that views Israel as a terrorist, genocidal state whose very creation was a “catastrophe” for Arab peoples.

Sarsour has also solicited donations for the Hamas-affiliated Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.

In November 2015, Sarsour was a featured speaker at the 21st anniversary banquet of the Council on American-Islamic Relations‘ [CAIR’s] San Francisco chapter. Further, she is presently scheduled to speak at upcoming CAIR banquets in February and March. Terrorism expert Steven Emerson has accurately described CAIR as “a radical fundamentalist front group for Hamas.”

Last June, Sarsour spoke at a Virginia fundraising dinner sponsored by Islamic Relief USA, whose parent group has provided financial aid to Hamas.
In September, Sarsour was a featured speaker at the annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America, a Muslim Brotherhood front group that promotes Sharia Law and Islamic supremacism. The Brotherhood, it should be noted, is the parent group of both Hamas and Al-Qaeda.

In October, Sarsour spoke at an event sponsored by a chapter of the Muslim Students Association, whose national umbrella group is an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood, and whose conferences routinely feature inflammatory speeches by raging anti-Semites.

In November, Sarsour spoke at the annual conference of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), where she lauded Muslims who “unequivocally support” the Hamas-inspired BDS campaign. AMP is a major BDS promoter, and several of its leading board members and officials were formerly members and/or supporters of Islamic extremist groups that promoted and funded the agendas of Hamas.

In December 2016 in Chicago, Sarsour spoke at the annual (jointly held) convention of the Muslim American Society (whose agendas are dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood) and the Islamic Circle of North America (which, according to Steven Emerson, “openly supports militant Islamic fundamentalist organizations, praises terror attacks, issues incendiary attacks on western values and policies, and supports the imposition of Sharia”). At that convention, Linda Sarsour posed for a picture with Salah Sarsour (no known relation), who was jailed by Israel in the 1990s because of his fundraising activities on behalf of Hamas. READ ENTIRETY (THE ANTI-SEMITE WHO ORGANIZED THE ‘WOMEN’S MARCH ON WASHINGTON’; By John Perazzo; FrontPageMag; 1/23/17)

Sarsour on Sharia Law:

Sarsour has openly supported Sharia law, a legal system that treats women much differently than men and punishes lawbreakers with flogging, amputation, and stoning.

In 2011, Sarsour referred to Sharia as “reasonable,” tweeting: “once u read into the details it makes a lot of sense.”

sarsour-on-sharia-tweet-1

Last April, Sarsour again took to Twitter to defend Sharia as being “misunderstood,” and “pushed as some evil Muslim agenda.”

sarsour-on-sharia-tweet-2

She has even promoted Sharia as a means of financial benefit, tweeting: “If you are still paying interest than Sharia Law hasn’t taken over America. #justsaying. READ ENTIRETY (Women’s March National Co-Chair: Sharia Law is ‘Reasonable’ ,’ Misunderstood’; By Andrew Eicher; CNSNews.com; 1/25/17 5:27 PM EST)

I pray you now understand the nefarious hypocrisy Linda Sarsour when she calls people like Brigitte Gabriel and Ayaan Hirsi Ali wicked names and threatening with violence and removal of their vaginas.

Linda Sarsour at Feminist Women’s March 1-21-17

We regret to inform you of a shocking verbal attack launched against our Founder Brigitte Gabriel, and the courageous Ayaan Hirsi Ali, by an Islamic extremist named Linda Sarsour.

Although Sarsour’s disgusting verbal assault took place back in 2011, it has only now been brought to light, given her active and particularly ironic involvement in the supposed women’s rights march, which took place last weekend in Washington, D.C.

WARNING: The language and content of these comments are extremely offensive.

sarsour-vulgarity-toward-b-gabriel-ayaan-hirsi-ali-tweetSarsour vulgarity toward B. Gabriel & Ayaan Hirsi Ali Tweet

These comments are all the more appalling when one considers that Ayaan Hirsi Ali was a victim of Female Genital Mutilation.

Sarsour’s comments, reprehensible as they are, do not surprise anyone who knows the truth about her radical ties.

Ms. Sarsour has been an open advocate for Sharia law, and has connections to terror groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and ISIS.

In fact, Sarsour has three known relatives who have been arrested for terrorist activity!

Sarsour had come under fire for her radical ties before a spotlight was recently shined on her jaw dropping comments about Gabriel and Ali.

As usual, the anti-American fringe defended her, and mainstream media refused to cover the truth behind Sarsour’s extremist connections.

Here’s what the anti-American Southern Poverty Law had to say about their darling Sarsour:

“Islamophobes have been attacking #WomensMarch organizer @lsarsour. We stand with her against this type of hate and bigotry. #IMarchWithLinda”

So, what does this story tell you about groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center and other anti-American outlets who attack ACT for America as a “hate group?”

It tells you that they are the true haters. They are the bigots who cower under the cloak of political correctness, and seek to enable even the most dangerous radicals.

More to it, this uncovers the nefarious alliance between the far-left and radical Islam, and shows any rational citizen that the SPLC and other anti-American groups are not genuinely interested in human rights.

Rather, they are interested in the destruction of Western Judeo-Christian civilization, and willing to align with anyone who shares their devious vision.

Here are two survivors of Islamic extremism, Brigitte Gabriel, and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, fighting for true women’s rights, and this Sharia sympathizing extremist attacks them with the most vile and hateful comments imaginable.

So now the question remains, will the mainstream media cover this abomination, or sweep it under the rug to continue their politically correct narrative about radical Islam?

For those who have Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, we ask that you show your support for Brigitte and Ayaan, by using the hashtag #IStandWithBrigitteAndAyaan, which was started by Dave Rubin, host of The Rubin Report and an open-minded ally of true human rights.

Please check our social media pages and share with us why you stand with Brigitte and Ayaan against true hatred and radicalism.

On January 8th, I posted a Shamim Mahmood submission. Shamim’s submission was a slim rundown on his advocacy as a journalist and Rights activist for his fellow Christians in Pakistan. The rundown is to demonstrate Shamim is a worthy cause to support. Pakistanis don’t make a lot of cash and Pakistani-Christians by the majority earn even less.

By the way, Shamim is still worthy of Western aid that is best sent via Western Union.

A well-meaning Muslim gal left a comment to that Shamim submission politely claiming the persecution of Christians and other non-Sunni Muslims was a myth used to get money of donors under false pretenses.

Below is that discussion back and forth between me and Aisha. Then follows a query by me to Shamim about Aisha’s perception. Which is followed by Shamim’s email response.

this is a blatant lie just to raise money, in fact there are Christians in my area and they are very safe and happy with their families. We have good relations with each other, we share our happy and sad moments with each other, we eat together and celebrate together.
This is a failed try to snatch money from people.

+Aisha Khan Aisha I am guessing you are a Muslim. If my guess is correct, I can make a couple of assumptions from your comment:

1) You are a deluded Muslim with your head in the sand.

2) You are a Muslim Propagandist spreading deceit about the actual brutality of Sunni Muslims against all Pakistani minorities not just Christians (Ironically Pakistani Sunnis also are brutal toward Pakistani Shias & Ahmadiyyas – both of which consider themselves Muslims).

Aisha, this blog is full of reports about Muslim brutality against Christians not only in Pakistan but also in other Muslim dominated nations. To allude anything else is the actual lie.

Indeed Aisha, here is a link of the most recent use of the Pakistan Blasphemy Law that is obviously a FALSE allegation against a Christian man:

http://www.assistnews.net/index.php/component/k2/item/2524-pakistan-illiterate-christian-man-from-lahore-accused-of-blasphemy.

Using the Blasphemy Law as a vendetta is legalized terrorism, because the accused is imprisoned under horrendous conditions awaiting a death sentence or is suspiciously and mysteriously murdered awaiting the execution of a death sentence.

+John Houk Absolutely I’m a Muslimah and I’m telling you the truth, there are many Christian families in my area and they are quite safe and happy with their families. They are doing Jobs in various Govt. institutions and also their private jobs. What you are telling me is a different situation and can happen in any country. For example we all know about the wave of terrorism in Pakistan. A large number of Muslims were killed, injured in various bomb blasts and other terrorist attacks. But we can’t blame other sects for this act.

We also know that America a Christian country is killing thousands of innocent people including women and children in Iraq, Afghanistan and many other countries. In the name of peace they are waging war on Muslims but we are not blaming Christians for this act of terror.

I also know there are black sheep in every community, there may be some misguided Muslims who are involved in such wrong acts but we can’t blame the whole Sunni Muslims for personal act of any individual or a group of people.

Also, we have to respect each other’s faith. No one has the right to insult or humiliate other people’s faith. We must avoid such provoking acts which leads to an anarchy and crises like situation.

I think this is much worse to use a few events and get emotional sympathies of people to snatch some money.

I think this more worse than the act committed by some ignorant individuals.

I condemn both of them.

Dear Shamim

I have been having a G+ discussion with one Aisha Khan about the last submission you sent to me entitled “Keep Shamim Reporting”. The conversation has been quite polite, but she (I assume “she” in case I am mistaken)  claims your position of Sunni-Muslims persecuting religious minorities in Pakistan is a lie. And quote:

this is a blatant lie just to raise money, in fact there are Christians in my area and they very safe and happy with their families.”

I read reports from other sources other than just yours; hence, I conclude there is a huge persecution problem in Pakistan. Nonetheless, she seems quite sincere in her belief. Below is the entire discussion between me and her to date on the G+ Community Anti-Islam:

My knee-jerk reaction is that Aisha is calling you and me a liar. An American colloquialism describes my emotion to being called a liar; viz., “That chaps my hide.” So, I am going to cool off about a day and blog this interaction with some further thoughts from myself. If you have any thoughts between now and the time I begin to construct an edited post, you are more than welcome to provide your perspective

RE: Aisha Khan – Pakistani Muslim

Dear Brother John

I think the World is witness to it that how much Christians and other religious minorities are safe [tongue-in-cheek sarcasm] in Pakistan. The level of persecution is clearly reported and it’s not only me, others have reported as well.

Seven members of [one] family in Gojra and a Christian couple in Kot Radha Kishan were burnt alive on false blasphemy accusations.

Joseph Colony Lahore where more than 70 houses, including two Churches, were set ablaze.

Even today, Christians are treated as second-class citizens and in the [Pakistan] Constitution discrimination is clearly seen.

John, she is right that in many areas Christians and Muslims are living together and share their happiness and sorrows, but when it comes to a matter of religion these – Muslims – do not hesitate for a second to kill or persecute minorities.  And especially this kind of (Aisha) people become more aggressive and hit first.

Yes, there are broad minded and liberal Muslims but they are very few.

I’ve visited her G+ that clearly gives a message of her openness. Secondly brother, you know how much money I have raised, but issues Christians are facing [result in] day by day persecution.

Thanks now I’m going to take tea.

God bless you,

Shamim

A Few Thoughts to Aisha’s 1/16/17

Aisha wrote:

Aisha consider the facts behind these quotes:

Thirty civilians have been killed in northern Afghanistan during an Afghan special forces mission supported by Nato, an Afghan spokesman says.

Provincial officials say many of the deaths were caused by Nato air strikes.

The air support was called in after troops were surrounded by Taliban militants, who took shelter in civilian homes, the spokesman said.

“US forces conducted strikes in Kunduz to defend friendly forces. All civilian casualty claims will be investigated,” the Nato-led Resolute Support mission said.

A further 25 civilians were wounded in the operation in Kunduz, Mr Danish said, and 26 Taliban fighters were killed, including two commanders. The Taliban say only three of their fighters were killed.

US soldiers killed

The US military said its soldiers died after coming under fire during a mission to clear a Taliban position.

Two other US soldiers were wounded, it said. General John Nicholson said the soldiers’ loss was “heartbreaking”.

Taliban fighters came close to overrunning Kunduz city last month and the security situation in the area remains febrile. The insurgents control large areas of the province around the city.

US combat operations against the Taliban officially ended in 2014 but special forces have continued to provide support to Afghan troops.

Afghan forces have suffered thousands of casualties, with more than 5,500 killed in the first eight months of 2016. READ ENTIRETY (Afghanistan Nato: ’30 civilians killed’ during Taliban fighting; By Reuters; BBC; 11/3/16)

And more …

The war in Afghanistan continues destroying lives, due to the direct consequences of violence and the war-induced breakdown of public health, security, and infrastructure. Civilians have been killed by crossfire, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), assassinations, bombings, and night raids into houses of suspected insurgents. Even in the absence of fighting, unexploded ordnance from previous wars and United States cluster bombs continue to kill.

About 104,000 people have been killed in the Afghanistan war since 2001. More than 31,000 of those killed have been civilians. An additional 41,000 civilians have been injured since 2001. READ ENTIRETY (AFGHAN CIVILIANS; WATSON INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS)

And more …

ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN — A joint military operation in northern Afghanistan in early November killed 33 Afghan civilians and wounded 27, the U.S. military said Thursday in releasing details of its investigation into the incident.

The attack in Boz village in restive Kunduz province flattened dozens of houses, residents and Taliban insurgents said. The joint operation was conducted to capture Taliban leaders who were plotting to seize the provincial capital of Kunduz, Afghan and U.S. military officials said.

“To defend themselves and Afghan forces, U.S. forces returned fire in self-defense at Taliban who were using civilian houses as firing positions,” U.S. military officials said.

Afghan special forces had planned the raid against the Taliban hideout in Kunduz with the help of a small group of American military advisers. But the insurgents swiftly engaged them, opening fire from multiple civilian buildings, the U.S. military said in its investigation. [Blog Editor: Emphasis Mine]

“U.S. and Afghan forces were forced to request aerial fire support from U.S. platforms in self-defense. Aerial fires were also used to suppress Taliban who were firing on U.S. medical evacuation assets as the dead and wounded were evacuated,” it said. In Iraq …

Another person said: “Before blaming Muslims for Isis, remember that Isis terrorist attacks is targeting more Muslims than any other groups.”

Many people were sharing an image bearing the slogan: “Isis is bombing Muslims in Muslim countries in the holy month of Ramadan. And you still say Isis represents Islam?”

Like in other recent attacks, Isis’ initial propaganda claim said it targeted a “gathering of the Popular Mobilisation” Committees – predominantly Shia armed groups fighting its militants alongside Iraqi security forces.

But authorities say there were many women and children among the civilian victims, and a later statement from the organisation made it clear religion was the target, saying: “The raids of the mujahedeen [holy warriors] against the Rafidha [Shia] apostates will not stop.”

Shias were also the main victims of Isis’ deadliest ever attack in Iraq, when militants massacred 670 prisoners in a raid in Badush in June 2014.

A handful of survivors recounted jihadists separating Shias and other religious minorities, driving them into the desert and lining them up on the edge of a ravine before opening fire with machine guns.

There are no definitive figures on the number of Muslims or other religious denominations killed by Isis but the huge number of Iraqi victims, where 99 per cent of the population is Muslim, suggests that the religion makes up by far the largest proportion of the dead. READ ENTIRETY (Baghdad bombing: Iraqis remind world that most of Isis’ victims are Muslims after more than 160 killed; By Lizzie Dearden; Independent; 7/5/16)

American involvement in Iraq …

The rate of Iraqi civilian deaths caused by US-led coalition forces has declined steadily from 2009, while the rate caused by Iraqi state forces has increased, with deaths resulting directly from actions involving US-led coalition forces falling to their smallest number ever, at a total of 19 reported by year end (down from 32 in 2010), and deaths involving Iraqi forces rising from 98 in 2010 to 147 in 2011.

Total deaths with combatants, combining IBC and official records:

Combining IBC civilian data with official Iraqi and US combatant death figures and data from the Iraq War Logs released by WikiLeaks, we estimate the documented death toll across all categories since March 2003 to be 162,000, of whom 79% were civilians.

Most deadly period of violence:

Iraq’s violence peaked in late 2006 but was sustained at high levels until the second half of 2008 – nearly 90% of the deaths occurred by 2009.

Weapons claiming the most victims:

graph-weapons-claiming-the-most-victims

Civilians killed by Gunfire Explosives Air attacks 2003 – 2011 by quarter Download data

64,575 of the civilian dead were reported killed by small arms gunfire; 39,273 by explosive weapons (such as IEDs, suicide attacks, and aerial bombardment); and 5,820by airstrikes (including cannon-fire, bombs and missiles).

Children killed:

Of the 45,779 victims for whom IBC was able to obtain age data, 3,911 (8.54%) were children under age 18.

Most-targeted group:

Police forces have been a major target, with 9,609 deaths reported – by far the largest toll of any professional group.

Civilians killed by US-led coalition

US forces killed far more Iraqi civilians than any other members of the US-led coalition, including various Iraqi military forces acting with or independently of them.3 The data on US forces killings show:

Total deaths from coalition forces:

15,141 (13%) of all documented civilian deaths were reported as being directly caused by the US-led coalition.

Children killed by coalition forces:

Of the 4,040 civilian victims of US-led coalition forces for whom age data was available, 1,201 (29%) were children.

  • Iraq Body Count 2003-2011 — 114,212

  • Iraq War Logs new ‘Civilian’ and comparable ‘Host Nation’ remaining – central estimate — 13,750

  • Iraq War Logs ‘Host Nation’ combatant – central estimate — 5,575

  • Iraq War Logs ‘Enemy’ (minus IBC overlaps) – central estimate — 20,499

  • Insurgents killed June-December 2003 — 597

  • Insurgents killed May 2004 — 652

  • Insurgents & Iraqi soldiers killed March 2009 — 59

  • Insurgents & Iraqi soldiers killed 2010–2011 – 2,187

  • TOTAL IRAQI — 157,531

  • US & Coalition military killed 2003–2011 — 4,802

  • TOTAL — 162,333

Official statistics

Official figures released monthly by Iraqi ministries continue to be lower than IBC’s, as in previous years, and this year more so than last. 7 However, longer-term official figures released in 2009 by the Iraqi Ministry of Human Rights show somewhat higher totals than IBC for 2004-6. This indicates, as does the WikiLeaks-published US military database, that a full accounting for the entire period from 2003 will be above, not below, IBC’s present count. Unfortunately official Iraqi data is presented in aggregate form, whereas IBC’s numbers are obtained from incidents individually listed on its website. This not only makes them open to public scrutiny for verification or amendment, but would allow item-by-item cross-referencing against other, similarly detailed sources.

Aisha the reality about war is this: WAR IS HELL.

The history of war demonstrates civilians – innocent and not so innocent sympathizers to the enemy – is an inevitable reality. When you say Americans kill civilian men, women and children, it is a true statement. BUT it is also true that not only have Muslims killed Christians and other religious minorities in in Muslim dominated populations, they have killed themselves.

One thing to consider in Aisha’s concerns about civilian deaths by American hands IS THIS: The United States of America would not have invaded Afghanistan if the Taliban government had not stood by Usama bin Laden and al Qaeda after about 3,000 (plus) civilians on American soil with hijacked jet airliners on September 11, 2001 (WE call that cowardly infamous day “911”). If that attack had never occurred on American soil, our military would never have invaded Afghanistan. And if we never invaded Afghanistan, it is unlikely the U.S. would have invaded Iraq based on rumors of Weapons of Mass Destruction being manufactured by Saddam Hussein.

Aisha on a personal note I have to ask: What makes you think Christians and Jews can live continuously in peace side by side? Are you not aware that your prophet Muhammad’s last words in the Quran was to kill Christians and Jews? According Islamic theology, Muhammad’s last words abrogate any previous words of peace toward those he called the People of the Book.

Do you hear without cringing the Church bells ringing calling Christians to assemble and worship God openly and with loud reverence? How many Jewish Synagogues operate openly in Pakistan or any Muslim dominated society? What happens in Pakistan if a Christian publicly announces Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only path to Salvation from a Satan dominated world? You have to realize a Christian not brainwashed by centuries of Islamic Supremicism would tell a Muslim that Muhammad was a false prophet for claiming Jesus was not the Son of God?

If you want more trust from Americans that consider themselves Christians and/or Jews, Muslim must reform their theology to not condemn others for blaspheming Islam. Just as Christians in America not knowing just how intolerant Islam is, are more than willing to accept a Mosque, Synagogue, Buddhist Temple or even a brainwashing religious cult to be on the same street as a Church. Christians may not like the idea and perhaps protest such a building that denies Christ as the Son of God, but Christians would not riot en masse over the situation resulting assault, property damage or murder.

Something to think about Aisha next time your news tells your peaceful Muslim/Christian community that Christians were slaughtered because they may have offended the Quran, Islam, Allah or Muhammad.

Keep Shamim Reporting

Hello Dear [Friend],

Greetings, I hope this email will find you in a good heath. I wish you a very Happy New Year, 2017. I report news that others dismiss and ignore. Please read and learn about my history and let me know how you can help me.

I’m an offbeat human rights reporter with a great deal of experience and a proven track record. I have an off and on perception of Islamic largesse in Pakistan. When terrorism strikes, I note the hypocrisy of a Constitution that stipulates equal rights for all Pakistani citizens regardless of religious faith. A Constitution that also stipulates Pakistan is an Islamic Republic. Pakistan that follows Sharia Law and enforces Blasphemy Laws that literally can lead to awaiting death sentences in jail, unless an observant Muslim mob kills the accused violator of the Muslim Blasphemy Law first. Due to the unacceptable and prompt reaction attitude prevailing in Pakistan, I have been facing many hurdles but kept on reporting on minorities issues parallel to my official responsibilities.

At the dawn of 2017, I conclude that there is no standard place for me in the mainstream work force.  The most good I can do for people is to keep writing and publicizing news, this is where I ask my friends and supporters to contribute a very small monthly amount to keep me out there.

I have supported religious minorities as well as the many victims of discrimination, police brutality, racism, sex abuse and other endemic problems through journalism for many years.  I see the human race as a single entity and I write on behalf of people countrywide.  I used to be a mainstream reporter but found this type of journalism restricting and frankly, over controlled by corporate interests.

Over the past years, I have devoted my time and energy almost exclusively to a number of subjects that most media ignored or reported with great bias.  An outline of my recent efforts includes …. The Gojra incident [Dawn & Express Tribune] that left the killing of seven Christian family members. The breaking story of Rimsha Masih who was a minor Christian girl accused of blasphemy. The twin blasts in Peshawar Church. A Christian couple burnt alive in Kot Radha Kishan. Zafar Bhatti blasphemy accused and still suffering in jail. Others accused under Pakistani Blasphemy include Asia Bibi, Sawan Masih and Nabeel Masih [Christians in Pakistan & BPCA]. And the Youhanabad Church blasts and many more.
