War Crime!: Placing a Note in the Western Wall

Alan Dershowitz

Alan Dershowitz is a Left-Winger. Or at least I’ve always believed so. BUT his recent support of Constitutional law that benefits President Trump rather than fellow Leftist Dems has led to place Dershowitz as more Center-Left than Left-Wing. AND NOW I just finished reading an article that fully supports Israel sovereignty over religious sites that have a Judaic history over pseudo-Palestinians who desire to usurp that Israeli sovereignty.

War Crime!: Placing a Note in the Western Wall

  • I urge all visitors to join me in a conspiracy to violate the UN Security Council Resolution…Obama, himself, engineered the Resolution. He pushed it through the Security Council despite some reservations by other members, including Egypt, which believed that the Resolution itself could become a barrier to a negotiated two-state solution. After all, if Israel’s control over Judaism’s holiest site is deemed illegal, then Israel would have to negotiate its legality with the Palestinians.

  • These Jewish areas were illegally occupied by Jordan between 1948 and 1967 and lawfully recaptured by Israel in a defensive war, started by Jordan when it fired mortars at civilian targets inside pre-1967 Israel…. Yet there were no United Nations Resolutions, campus protests or other organized shows of opposition by the international community. Only after Israel liberated these historically Jewish areas, did the world, and Obama, decide — in violation of international law — that they were illegally occupied.

  • Declaring the Western Wall to be illegally occupied territory is akin to declaring the Vatican, Mecca or other religious, holy sites to be occupied by those who pray at them. The Western Wall is lawfully part of the nation state of the Jewish people. It will remain so as long as Israel exists. If there is to be any hope of peace between Israel and the Palestinians, the world must recognize that historic, moral and legal reality.

Last week, in Israel, I committed a flagrant violation of international law. This “war crime” consisted of placing a note asking for “peace, salaam, shalom” in the Western Wall, Judaism’s holiest site. The reason the note requesting peace constituted “a flagrant violation of international law” and a “war crime” is that the United Nations Security Council, in a Resolution adopted in December 2016, declared that all areas captured by Israel during the 1967 War are illegally occupied territories. That includes the Western Wall, the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem and the access roads on Mount Scopus to the Hebrew University and Hadassah Hospital.

Former US President Barack Obama demanded that his permanent representative to the United Nations not veto this one-sided, wrong-headed, ahistorical, bigoted, and anti-peace Resolution. Obama changed American policy by allowing such a resolution to be enacted by the Security Council as revenge on Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who, quite correctly, opposed the very bad deal Obama made with Iran enabling it to develop nuclear weapons.

Although Obama himself had once stood in front of the Western Wall and placed a note in it, he now apparently regards Judaism’s holiest place as territory illegally occupied by Israel. He is dead wrong, but that does not change the Security Council Resolution.

So now I, and doubtless many others, have not only willfully and deliberately committed a violation of international law, we are also guilty of a war crime, because building or using civilian structures on illegally occupied territory is a war crime; and Israel built, and I used, the promenade in front of the Western Wall after Israel recaptured it during a defensive war.

Let me be clear: I intend to commit this crime during every visit to Israel. Call it an act of civil disobedience, or call it an act which simply recognizes the absurdity and illegality of the Security Council Resolution, despite its passage and lack of veto by the United States, which abstained.

The United States abstention was designed to give the Obama administration political cover at home. It could claim that it did not vote for the Resolution. But it did much more than vote for the Resolution. Obama, himself, engineered the Resolution. This would give the Palestinians an incomparable bargaining chip. As a former Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority once rhetorically asked me, “How much would Israel be willing to give up to get back its most important religious shrine?”

Israel will never accept the Security Council Resolution. Nor should any decent person. I certainly do not, and will continue to violate it during every visit to Israel, by putting notes in the Western Wall, eating kosher falafel in the Jewish Quarter and driving on the access road to Hebrew University, and if I need to, Hadassah Hospital. I urge all visitors to join me in a conspiracy to violate the Security Council Resolution.

These Jewish areas were illegally occupied by Jordan between 1948 and 1967 and lawfully recaptured by Israel in a defensive war, started by Jordan when it fired mortars at civilian targets inside pre-1967 Israel. During the Jordanian occupation, King Hussein engaged in war crimes by ordering the destruction of ancient synagogues, burial places and other historical sites and by “ethnically cleansing” this historically Jewish area of all Jews. Yet there were no United Nations Resolutions, campus protests or other organized shows of opposition by the international community. Only after Israel liberated these historically Jewish areas, did the world, and Obama, decide — in violation of international law — that they were illegally occupied.

Declaring the Western Wall to be illegally occupied territory is akin to declaring the Vatican, Mecca or other religious, holy sites to be occupied by those who pray at them. The Western Wall is lawfully part of the nation state of the Jewish people. It will remain so as long as Israel exists. If there is to be any hope of peace between Israel and the Palestinians, the world must recognize that historic, moral and legal reality.

Intro to ‘Jerusalem Gold’ Press Release

Fifty-years ago from June 5, 1967; three Arab armies mobilized on the Israeli border itching for yet another shot to destroy the Jewish State. This is significant because the Six-Day War of 1967 returned the whole of Jerusalem to its Jewish heritage. On June 7, the IDF entered Eastern Jerusalem.

Ari Bussel sent me a press release that the Jewish community in the Los Angeles area will have a Jerusalem Remembrance Day commemorating the return of the City of David back to Israeli sovereignty.

VIDEO: Jerusalem – 1967 – The Six-Day War English

Here are some relevant excerpts on the 1967 Arab mobilization and Israel’s response at the Jewish Virtual Library:

… Israel repeatedly protested the Syrian bombardments to the UN Mixed Armistice Commission, which was charged with policing the cease-fire, but the UN did nothing to stop Syria’s aggression — even a mild Security Council resolution expressing “regret” for such incidents was vetoed by the Soviet Union. Meanwhile, Israel was condemned by the United Nations when it retaliated.

While the Syrian military bombardment and terrorist attacks intensified, Nasser’s rhetoric became increasingly bellicose. In 1965, he announced, “We shall not enter Palestine with its soil covered in sand; we shall enter it with its soil saturated in blood.”(4)

Syria’s attacks on Israeli kibbutzim from the Golan Heights finally provoked a retaliatory strike on April 7, 1967. During the attack, Israeli planes shot down six Syrian fighter planes — MiGs supplied by the Soviet Union. Shortly thereafter, the Soviets — who had been providing military and economic assistance to both Syria and Egypt — gave Damascus false information alleging a massive Israeli military buildup in preparation for an attack. Despite Israeli denials, Syria decided to invoke its defense treaty with Egypt and asked Nasser to come to its aid.

Countdown to War

On May 15, Israel’s Independence Day, Egyptian troops began moving into the Sinai and massing near the Israeli border. By May 18, Syrian troops were prepared for battle along the Golan Heights.

Nasser ordered the UN Emergency Force (UNEF), stationed in the Sinai since 1956 as a buffer between Israeli and Egyptian forces after Israel’s withdrawal following the Sinai Campaign, to withdraw on May 16. Without bringing the matter to the attention of the General Assembly (as his predecessor had promised), Secretary-General U Thant complied with the demand. …

The Blockade

On May 22, Egypt closed the Straits of Tiran to all Israeli shipping and all ships bound for Eilat. This blockade cut off Israel’s only supply route with Asia and stopped the flow of oil from its main supplier, Iran.

King Hussein of Jordan signed a defense pact with Egypt on May 30. Nasser then announced:

The armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon are poised on the borders of Israel…to face the challenge, while standing behind us are the armies of Iraq, Algeria, Kuwait, Sudan and the whole Arab nation. This act will astound the world. Today they will know that the Arabs are arranged for battle, the critical hour has arrived. We have reached the stage of serious action and not declarations.(13)

The Arab rhetoric was matched by the mobilization of Arab forces. Approximately 465,000 troops, more than 2,800 tanks, and 800 aircraft ringed Israel.(15)

Israel decided to preempt the expected Arab attack. To do this successfully, Israel needed the element of surprise. Had it waited for an Arab invasion, Israel would have been at a potentially catastrophic disadvantage. On June 5, Prime Minister Eshkol gave the order to attack Egypt.

On June 5, 1967, Israel was isolated, but its military commanders had conceived a brilliant war strategy. The entire Israeli Air Force, with the exception of just 12 fighters assigned to defend Israeli air space, took off at 7:14 a.m. in  Operation Moked (aka Operation Focus) with the intent of bombing Egyptian airfields while the Egyptian pilots were eating breakfast. By 11:05 a.m. 180 Egyptian fighter planes were destroyed. Defense Minister Moshe Dayan was not planning to attack Syria until the Syrians attacked Tiberias and Megiddo. Israeli fighters subsequently attacked the Syrian and Jordanian air forces, as well as one airfield in Iraq. By the end of the first day, most of the Egyptian and half the Syrian air forces had been destroyed on the ground.

… On June 9, at 5:45 a.m., the head of Southern Command informed the chief of staff: “IDF forces are on the banks of the Suez Canal and the Red Sea. …

Jerusalem Is Attacked

Initially, Israel did not plan to capture the West Bank. …

Prime Minister Levi Eshkol sent a message to King Hussein on June 5 saying Israel would not attack Jordan unless he initiated hostilities. When Jordanian radar picked up a cluster of planes flying from Egypt to Israel, and the Egyptians convinced Hussein the planes were theirs, he ordered the shelling of West Jerusalem. It turned out that the planes were Israel’s and were returning from destroying the Egyptian air force on the ground.

Hussein’s decision changed the course of the war. Israel counterattacked. …

At 6:15 a.m. on June 7, Dayan ordered the encirclement of the Old City and instructed the army to enter. Israeli paratroopers stormed the city and secured it. At 10:08 a.m., according to the army diary, a message was received, saying, “The Temple Mount is in our hands and our forces are by the [Western] Wall.” … [Bold Text Editor’s]

After just six days of fighting, Israeli forces were in a position to march on Cairo, Damascus, and Amman. By this time, the principal objectives of capturing the Sinai and the Golan Heights had been accomplished, and Israeli political leaders had no desire to fight in the Arab capitals. Furthermore, the Soviet Union had become increasingly alarmed by the Israeli advances and was threatening to intervene. At this point, U.S. Secretary of State Dean Rusk advised the Israelis “in the strongest possible terms” to accept a cease-fire. On June 10, Israel did just that.

I don’t know if you realize it, but Israel acquiring portions of their heritage in 1967 is not only of historical significance, it is also of Biblical significance. I can’t pinpoint the Judaic significance due to a bit of ignorance on my part. However, the Christian prophetic perspective points to another sign the Last Days are around the corner and the soon return of Jesus the Christ to restore the full Redemption not only of humanity but also a restoration of the whole earth.

1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John,[a] saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me,[b] “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” (Revelation 21: 1-5 NKJV)

Jerusalem of Gold

The official Los Angeles celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Reunification of Jerusalem

Press Release Sent by Ari Bussel

Sent 5/22/2017 12:13 AM

June 7th, 2017, 7:30PM

Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Museum of Tolerance, Los Angeles

In 2017, and for the past 50 years, there is only one place in the entire Middle East and the African continent where freedom of religion is paramount, and people as well as holy sites flourish, as they are protected by law and by practice.

This place is Jerusalem, Israel’s capital from Biblical to present times. For two thousand years, the Jewish people yearned to return to their homeland and to the holy city of Jerusalem.

Here, Abraham prepared to sacrifice his son Isaac as a test of his loyalty to God the Almighty; Jacob dreamed of the ladder with angels ascending and descending; King David conquered the city and made it his capital, bringing the Ark of the Covenant here; His son King Solomon built the First Temple, a magnificent marvel; the First and Second Temple were then destroyed, but a portion of the Western Wall remains to this very day; and here is where Jesus walked in the Way of Suffering, Via Dolorosa, was crucified and then resurrected.

The Prophet Isaiah instructed and highlighted (66:10): “Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad with her, all who love her!” the city “Jerusalem that is built as a city which is joined together” (Psalms 122:3) and which is remembered and constantly highlighted “If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth if I remember thee not, if I set not Jerusalem above my chiefest joy” (Psalms 137:5-6).

It is in this spirit, 50 years to the date from when the Israeli flag was raised over the Temple Mount, that Christians and Jews and other minorities will gather and declare:

There is no other place like Jerusalem, Jerusalem of Gold, the City of God!

Throughout the Middle East and Africa Christians and other minorities are being raped, sold to slavery, executed en masse (including Muslims in the hands of other Muslims) and murdered, and holy places (churches, mosques, etc.) are desecrated, burned to the ground and destroyed. Jerusalem is the only place where freedom of religion and protection of religious rights and institutions is by law and practice.

Jerusalem is the only place that for the past 50 years church bells can be heard, as well as the Muezzin call to prayer. Jews walk freely, living their daily lives side by side other minorities. Jerusalem is the only place in the entire region and beyond where the Christian population experiences a net positive growth; where minorities feel safe and welcome.

This is the theme being highlighted, under the banner “The City of Angels Saluting the City of God.” A unique evening celebrating a Jubilee of humanity flourishing.

A Betrayal at the Wailing Wall

By Justin O. Smith

Sent 1/5/2017 12:28 PM

Every Jew comes to Eretz Yisrael, every tree that is planted in the soil of Israel, every soldier added to the army of Israel, constitutes another spiritual stage, literally; another stage in the process of redemption.” — Rabbi Zvi Yehuda

No strangers to treachery and betrayal, the Jewish people of Israel were betrayed once more on December 23rd, 2016 by a hostile United Nations and a 14-0 Security Council vote on Resolution 2334, that malevolently states the Wailing Wall, Israel’s holiest site, is illegal in international law. This betrayal was only possible due to President Obama’s anti-Semitic and anti-Israel policies based on lies and false assumptions and premises, along with his orders to have the U.S. abstain from the vote. And now, the Jewish people’s fierce life and death struggle for the survival of their nation has a new sense of urgency unseen since May 14th, 1948 and Ben Gurion’s declaration of independence for the sovereign Jewish State of Israel.

Many Americans were already well aware of Obama’s anti-Israel sentiments, from the days he pushed Israel to retreat to pre-1967 borders, which are completely indefensible and would have ensured Israel’s death as a nation. He now has attempted to rebuke Israel for building settlements on land it has a historical and a legal right to possess and keep in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Obama, who assured the world in 2009 that he “had Israel’s back”, has just plunged the knife of betrayal deep into Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s back and Israel’s heart.

Read Genesis 15, Genesis 26 and Genesis 28 and God’s promise to Abraham that is reiterated in Deuteronomy 1:8, stating: “See, I have set the land before You; go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers — to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob — to give to them and their descendants after them.”

Since 638 AD, the Muslims have been considered invaders and usurpers by the Jews of Jerusalem and Israel, because this area was never completely abandoned by the Jews, nor did they relinquish their sovereign rights that were given them by God. The Dome of the Rock Islamic mosque sits atop the Jews’ Temple Mount, thought to be the site of the Temple built by King Solomon; and, the Wailing Wall [Western Wall], just below the Dome of the Rock, has been the single most sacred place in the Jewish world, the last relic of the Temple built by King Herod in the first century AD. And yet, the United Nations declared Jerusalem an “international zone” in 1947.

It’s bad enough that half the land provided for the Jews under the Balfour Treaty of 1917 was given to the so-called “palestinians”/Arabs to create the nation of Jordan in 1922, but even worse, the UN voted to partition the remaining territory between a Jewish Israel and an Arab/Muslim Palestine in November of 1947, creating the “two-state solution”. This two-state solution is marked by 70 years of failure, because the Islamofascist “palestinians” refuse to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state in the middle of a predominantly Islamic region, and Palestinian propaganda has never stopped depicting “Palestine” as all of the territory between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River.

The Israeli Defense Force reclaimed and annexed Jerusalem and the Old City from Jordan after Israel was attacked in 1967 by the surrounding Islamic nations during the Six Day War. But even so, the areas of Jerusalem Secretary of State John Kerry called “occupied” during his unhinged speech a few days after Obama’s 11th hour betrayal of Israel, including the Wailing Wall and Jewish sectors, were acknowledged to belong to Israel in the 1949 Armistice Agreement.

The only “occupiers” are the Muslim Arabs of Gaza and the West Bank — Muslims masquerading as the mythical “palestinians” who were unknown prior to 1948 and are a creation of Israel’s enemies. Look to Shechem on the West Bank, a biblical city sacred to the Jews and associated with Jacob and Joshua, and one finds a city renamed Nablus controlled by Muslims.

John Kerry’s unconscionable, detestable and wretched December 28th speech maligned Israel for its settlements in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Kerry used the terms “settlements” and “settlers” 62 times in 72 minutes, and he mentioned “terrorism” only 14 times. He failed to mention that the Palestinian government is a tripartite government controlled by Islamic Jihad, Fatah and Hamas — all terrorist groups — who have launched deadly suicide bombings and tens of thousands of rockets against Israel over the decades, wounding approximately 602 and killing 42 Israelis in just this past year.

One has only to review Israeli former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s 2008 offer to the Palestinians to throw light on the lie in Kerry’s assertion that the Palestinians simply seek peace and their own homeland. Olmert offered 94 percent of Judea and Samaria plus another 6 percent of Israel and a link to the Gaza Strip, withdrawal from East Jerusalem’s “Arab” neighborhoods [read “Muslim”] and the placement of the Old City under international control. Palestinian PM Mahmoud Abbas rejected it all.

The “palestinians”/Muslims attack the Israelis because they hate them. They indoctrinate their children to hate and kill Jews, and the destruction of Israel is a main point in Hamas’s charter and in their holy book, the Koran. And at its root, this is a religious war waged by Muslims who seek a world where Jews no longer exist.

Obama has emboldened the terrorists and those who de-legitimize Israel at every turn, showing his true colors, as he prepares to leave office standing beside Israel’s sworn enemies. Even more troubling, the Israelis claim to have irrefutable evidence that Obama led the charge on preparing this despicable UN Resolution 2334.

Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer stated: “What is outrageous is that the United States was actually behind [Resolution 2334]. … it was a very sad day and a really shameful chapter in U.S.-Israel relations … We have clear evidence of it.”

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) angrily denounced the failure to veto the resolution, calling it “frustrating, disappointing and confounding”. Schumer said, “The UN has been a fervently anti-Israel body since the days [it said] ‘Zionism is racism’ and that fervor has never diminished.”

United Nations Resolution 2334 shows Israel it can never really trust any nation for its security, and it reminds them of the certainty that the Islamofascist “palestinians” will never accept Israel within any boundaries, just as the Yom Kippur War in October 1973 reminded them that they were surrounded by enemies dedicated to their destruction. This, in conjunction with thousands of past Palestinian orchestrated acts of terrorism and ongoing violence, will surely move PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel’s Knesset to annex the West Bank and Gaza, repudiate the Oslo Accords and pursue a one state solution and the expulsion of all Palestinians and non-citizen Arabs, in defiance of the United Nations: The Palestinians are to Jews what darkness is to light.

Terror in Israel

Arab-Palestinian kid brainwashed to hate Jews

Ari Bussel gives a much needed lesson on Antisemitism and how the West (i.e. the USA and EU) seem to have been anesthetized to the Jew-hatred being acted out by Arab Muslims who call themselves Palestinians. This is a must read.

All rational and good people must become an obstacle in the advance of the devout extremist Muslims. Time to stand up and see good and evil for what they truly are and not what our prejudices would like them to be.” –Ari Bussel

Terror in Israel

Foreign Correspondent Ari Bussel found himself alone on Bus #1 encircling the Old City, from Damascus Gate to Jaffe Gate. It turned out to be a very short while after a terrorist attack in the Old City. This called for a first ever “selfie,” where the impression is the empty bus (anyone who has ever taken Bus #1 to the Kotel, the Western Wall, knows how crowded the ride is without exception).

By Ari Bussel

Sent: 10/12/2015 1:59 AM

Three police officers were severely wounded at a stabbing attack in the Old City in Jerusalem just now. The terrorist was killed.

This is the latest in a sequence of many such incidents gaining momentum, now called a “terror wave” throughout Israel. In Jerusalem, one hears about the “security situation,” and the streets and buses feel less crowded than normal. There are demonstrations throughout Israel by Arabs, trying to inflame a situation that simply does not exist.

Police reinforcements at the main entrance to the Western Wall square in the Old City in Jerusalem.

In the city of Afula’s central bus station, a young woman terrorist was shot as she was about to commit an attack with a knife. She is hospitalized, and her father was interviewed complaining that the response was too harsh. (The response was ruled “just and proper” given that the terrorist had both the tool and the intention.)

Really, how preposterous. She was running with a knife, attempting to murder innocent civilians indiscriminately (as long as they were Jewish Israelis), and as she was shot in an attempt to stop the act in progress, perhaps the shooter—who must be commended for his ability to react in time—should have asked her nicely to stop. There is no rationalizing with the irrational.

Here in the Middle East, the Arab mentality is disjointed from reality. They have started this “spontaneous” stabbing intifada in reaction to Israel supposedly trying to “topple” the Al Aqsa mosque and changing the “status quo” on Temple Mount. Nothing can be further from truth, as neither ever happened.

Well, if this does not stand to the test of facts or reality, then the reason for this new “instantaneous uprising of the youth” is the Jews’ defiling the Temple Mount. Abbas, the head of the “Palestinian” clan in Ramallah, likes to use the word “defile.” Well, here they are correct about at least one thing: Jews do ascend to the Temple Mount, their holiest place of worship.

Alas, they claim I am wrong here, too. For in their minds Israel and the Jews have no connection to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. The Islamists are actively erasing any connection between the two, although they have quite a formidable task of erasing three thousand years of Judeo-Christian history, archeology, literature, music, religion and culture. Worry not; they are hard at work and making great strides!

An Arab member of the Knesset went as far as to say that Israeli Jews are confusing a property owner and a burglar. He demanded the right to go to the Temple Mount after the Prime Minister forbade all Members of the Knesset and all Ministers from doing that – be they Jews of not. Clearly to this particular Arab MK, the PM is mistaken, for Israeli-Jews are burglars in a land not theirs.

Yet, the true insanity is that no one corrects the Arab MKs or the Israeli Arabs, who voice utter hatred and either perpetrate, participate or cheer when these vile terror attacks against Jewish Israelis take place.

For many years the rhetoric among those who call themselves “Palestinians” has skyrocketed. It pervades every form of communication and life, from books and TV programs, songs, movies, stamps, city square and football fields names, both for adults and still more worrisome for children.

They teach their children that Jews are evil, the very incarnation of the Devil on earth, and the aspiration of each child must be to become a martyr, to liberate the land, to drive the Jews to extinction in a most horrific and painful manner.

They strive to do that, encouraged and brainwashed from an early age on TV, later in summer camps and at schools and throughout young adulthood at the mosques in weekly sermons.

No one counteracts this poison. It is a society of Shaids [or Shahids aka Muslim suicide martyrs for Islam], ready to be sent on homicide missions. An army trained and brainwashed to automation, so that the mere utterance of the word “Jew” or “Israel” prompts a physiological reaction, triggering a mechanism that readies the body and soul to spring into action.

They do not want “peace,” and for those of us who say “two states for two people,” allow me to define the “two states” for better clarity: One state, “Palestine,” is clean and clear of any Jews. The other, “Israel,” is a temporary state of affairs: a country of all its citizens, with a “refugee right of return to their homes.” (“Refugees” are defined according to the UN very-special-definition-of-“Palestinian”-refugees-only: they and their descendants for all eternity.)

In other words, they want official recognition of a country-hood, and then they can continue the systematic destruction of whatever is left of the Jewish state.

Make no mistake; theirs is not a striving for peace or for “living side by side.” Theirs is nothing short of a holy war to destroy the Jewish State and become part of a global Islamic Caliphate.

The sooner the world internalizes there is no difference between the “Palestinians” and IS-ISIL-ISIS, the less complicated it will be to protect and defend our very existence. Until then, we remain confused.

From the society at large, to the individuals that compose it, the attitude is one: Terrorism is the method of choice, and it is definitely not “Terrorism” when applied toward Jews or Israel. It is merely “singing a freedom song.”

Thus, terrorists who have been convicted of murders, many of multiple most horrific murders, and are in Israeli jails receive huge annual compensations from the Palestinian Authority. The PA justifies such use of European and American funds as just and proper. So the United States winds up indirectly paying terrorists for their handiwork.

At the individual level, a child was recently hurt from a gunshot. The parents immediately blamed Israel, for apparently Jews’ favorite pastime is target-practice on Arabs.

It did not take long to establish the gunshot was a result of the child playing with a gun that belongs to his older brother who is part of the “Palestinian” security apparatus. Oh, just a tiny confusion, for Israel and the Jews are always to blame.

One of the most certain realities of life aside from the fact the sun will rise and set is that the world hates the Jewish people and will always be happy to believe the worst of them. Until one accepts this truth, human behavior will be colored and tinged with fantasy.

The make-belief does not stop with the so-called “Palestinians” or the Israeli Arabs. Take, for instance, Jordan and Egypt, both at peace with Israel, both aware and understanding the current situation. Yet both are blaming Israel – in recent declarations – for the “escalation” of the tensions and for her overly severe reaction.

If one does not accept the insanity of these assertions and how bias they truly are, it is easy to see that the Arab world has become a breeding ground for terror and killing, and yet the world dismisses their bad behavior and continues to blame the Jews and Israel.

Jordan, for instance, called on the international community to apply pressure on Israel to “stop the crimes of the Occupier’s force in the West Bank and Gaza.”

The following measures are intolerable:

o Calling to duty border police reserves;

o 2,000 police officers as added reinforcements to Jerusalem;

o Possible additional reinforcement to other cities (Haifa, Afula, Ramlah, Lod – mixed Arab-Jewish cities);

o Special protective measures along major transportation arteries;

o Changing the policy regarding issuance of guns for civilians for self-protection (the mayor of Jerusalem called anyone with a gun to carry it at all times).

Indeed, a wave of terror has been washing Israel, the totality of the country, and Israel must be restrained and allow the tension to dissipate, i.e. sacrifice more innocent victims, in order to appease the haters of the world.

A week ago Palestinians shot a young couple of “Settlers.” (There was a special bonus, for they were Orthodox, he apparently a Rabbi.)

The murderers confirmed the kill, but spared the four young children sitting in the back. Why did they do so, when offspring of the evil settlers must be eradicated completely, lest we want “more of the same?” [A Blood Sacrifice” by Ari Bussel]

Only because previous such murders, of parents and kids, of young children, many not yet talking or walking, (e.g. the Fogel family [Partners in Peace” by Norma Zager]) created a backlash that was not conducive to the “freedom fight” and image of innocence of these “Palestinian Heroes.”

Where was the outcry of the Islamic clergy throughout the Arab world and in America? They were and remain silent. Utter and complete silence. “Islam is a peaceful religion” that does not tolerate such behavior, we are told repeatedly. How slick are CAIR’s spokespeople, how ingenious. Clearly, it is not “tolerated” when applied toward “believers,” but Jews are nothing than filth. Lest one thinks Jewish people are victims, they would be wrong, as they are a big part of the problem.

If the opposite had occurred, Jews, particularly Israeli and American, would have been shouting at the top of their voices “we are sorry; we repent; this is so wrong; please accept our sorrow, please forgive us!” Until Jewish people abandon their mass psychosis of enabling their destroyers and helping them to destroy other Jews, nothing will change.

According to prevailing wisdom, Israel must quietly accept what is coming to her. Apparently, in the eyes of the haters, citizens stabbed to death on the streets of Israel are a tiny price to pay for the audacity of being.

Jewish people must stop apologizing for the evil of their enemies. Throughout history Jews have stood silent while being destroyed as the world silently ignored Jewish pain. Nothing has changed nor will it until the self-hatred of the Jewish people is eliminated.

Israel must have “Chutzpah,” and refuse to submit. All rational and good people must become an obstacle in the advance of the devout extremist Muslims. Time to stand up and see good and evil for what they truly are and not what our prejudices would like them to be.

Palestinian Myths: Jerusalem is Ours

Dr. Amos Orkan’s 1991 vision for the Third Temple, which was intended to rise on the Temple Mount plaza. Photo by 'Dreamscapes: Unbuilt Jerusalem'. Fantasies of reviving the Western Wall, the sole remnant of the wall that supported the platform on which stood the ancient Temple, began to flourish with the conquest of East Jerusalem in the Six-Day War. Various proposals for construction in the Wall’s plaza piled up on the Jerusalem city engineer’s desk during the ensuing six years. http://www.haaretz.com/jewish-world/shavuot-2013/myriad-schemes-for-revamping-the-western-wall-plaza-have-fallen-by-the-wayside-since-1967.premium-1.523981

The Palestinian Authority President and the Palestinian Liberation Organization Chairman (terrorist organization) and the head of Fatah (principle terrorist organization within PLO umbrella) Mahmoud Abbas delivered a Christian message full of downright lies pertaining to Israel, Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple Mount area. Renowned scholar David Bukay refutes the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians leader by laying out the historical facts. You can believe a lie and be damned or you can believe the truth and blessed.

Palestinian Myths: Jerusalem is Ours

In his preposterous Christmas greeting, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, claimed: “Jesus was a Palestinian messenger.” He also used the opportunity to deny the right of the Jews and their State of Israel, to their 3,000 year-old capital city Jerusalem. Carried away by his efforts to delegitimize the Jews and Israel, Abbas went on to say, “Our prayers are with the…mosques and churches (added emphasis) … of Jerusalem which remind the world of the Arab identity of our occupied capital.”

Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesperson Yigal Palmor, rebuked Abbas’s “outrageous rewriting of Christian history,” suggesting “He should have read the Gospel before uttering such offensive nonsense.” Strangely, the Vatican did not rush to condemn Abbas’s outrageous declaration that Jesus (the Christian God) was a Palestinian (i.e. a Muslim, not a Jew).

However, we wish you a very happy celebration of the anniversary of the birth of the only Jewish settler whose right to call Bethlehem, home, has been never protested throughout the world (until now).

Palestinian Myths: Jerusalem is Ours- Part I

By David Bukay*

This latest attack is part of the Palestinian effort to delegitimize the Jews rights for Israel and their 3,000-year-old capital city, Jerusalem.

There is the common saying: “A grain of truth is needed to make a mountain of lies believable.” However, this saying does not apply to Palestinian claims. However, they rely on this saying to help sell the absolute fabrications and distortions of claiming Jerusalem as part their made up historical lore. For it is hard for average people, international media, world public opinion, and states’ leadership to grasp and internalize the totality of nothing relating the Palestinians’ claims and pretentions.

The Palestinian legends and myths, however, are tightly tied to the development of an intense propaganda machinery of denial of any Jewish sanctity for Jerusalem, as if “Jerusalem has always been under Muslim sovereignty from time immemorial.” The Palestinians do not have any historical, religious, political, or cultural connection to Jerusalem. Jerusalem is not and never has been part of their history. The mosques erected on the Temple mount during the Umayyad Dynasty did not achieve any importance in other Muslim dynasties until the 20th century.

Yet, two important facts combined together can be clearly discerned: first, that for the Jewish diaspora, from 135 AD onward, the Land of Israel has never become a politically independent entity with a distinct identity as a nation; and, second, that Jerusalem was never the capital city of any empire or any independent regime or nation, and was not even ever an important city to any of the empires that controlled it besides the Jews. There have been only three recognized national, politically independent entities in the history of the Land of Israel: the First Jewish Kingdom, from the conquest of Canaan (1400 BCE – 586 BCE); the Second Jewish kingdom, until the end of the Bar Kochva revolt (538 BCE – 135 AD); and the State of Israel, since 1948. This also applies to Jerusalem, which had been the capital of the First and Second Jewish Kingdoms, and now the capital of the State of Israel.

Never bothered by the facts and well trained to twist them, Abbas (Abu-Mazen), on February 26, 2012, in Qatar’s International Conference on Jerusalem, accused Israel of Judaizing al-Quds, while obliterating its Palestinian character. Moreover, he declared that Israel is robbing Jerusalem of its historical and religious Palestinian character and actively pursuing this goal on three fronts: First, by changing the character and architectural structure of al-Quds from its cultural and historical Palestinian roots. Second, by employing processes of ethnic cleansing of Palestinian citizens and sites, begun in 1967, with unprecedented acceleration in the construction of settlements and the demolishing of Palestinian homes with their historical symbolism. Third, by impoverishing al-Quds, because throughout history it has always represented a center of thriving of the Palestinian people.

Jerusalem in Palestinian Propaganda

This theme of an old historical Palestinian Jerusalem that belongs solely to the old historical Palestinian people is a central theme in the mythical propaganda, which is based on pure lies, total fabrications and factual distortions repeatedly released by the Palestinians. According the Mufti of Jerusalem, Israel forges and falsifies the basic facts and history of Jerusalem which belongs solely to Islam and the Palestinians. Israel is said to steal the original Palestinian identity of Jerusalem and its cultural heritage. This theme is reiterated in the Palestinian media which claims Jerusalem to be the religious, political, and spiritual capital of Palestine. As such, Israel has no rights to Jerusalem — not religiously, not legally, not politically, and not historically. Everything in Jerusalem is Palestinian in its purest origin. Jerusalem has been the historical, religious, cultural, and scientific capital of the Palestinians from time immemorial, the center of the Islamic world, and the focus of world civilization.

The Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian Imams frequently use lies and venomous libel terminology to deliver inflammatory sermons to incite its people. Israel is accused of acting relentlessly to destroy the city’s culture and history by erasing the city’s Arab, Islamic, and Christian historical monuments. Other accusations against Israel, referred to as “the occupation authority,” include “ethnic cleansing”; “Judaizing” of Jerusalem—replacing its Arab population with Jews; infesting Arab neighborhoods with super aggressive rats; and systematic distribution of addictive drugs to its Arab population. They claim that Arab Jebusite king Malkizedeq built Jerusalem, as the most glorious place in the world, the closest to the kingdom of Allah, that it was always populated by pure Arab Palestinians. There is nothing Jewish in the city whatsoever.  Moreover, they claim that any mention in the Bible to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is a deliberate falsification.

Furthermore, archeological relics are said to deny Jewish history in Palestinian Jerusalem. Not only is there refutation of the Jewish Temple from an archaeological perspective, but Jerusalem as a whole is denied any Jewish roots. Dr. Marwan Abu-Khalaf, director of the Archaeological Institute at Al-Quds University argues that:

“The archaeological treasures in Jerusalem emphasize the depth of the city’s heritage and history; they emphasize its Arabness and refute the Israeli claims that it is a Jewish city… It is known that perhaps under every stone and in every corner, on every street and at every turn in Jerusalem there are relics. These relics say, ‘We are Arab, we are Muslim, we are Christian.’”

Another Palestinian scholar made the following claims:

“Israel not only steals the land, but also the history of Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the capital of Arab civilization… Jerusalem is the religious, historical, cultural and scientific capital of the Palestinian people in particular and of the Arab nation in general. It is the pinnacle of civilizations of the entire world. When the Arab Jebusite king Malkizedeq built the city of Jerusalem, naming it Jebus and designating it the capital of his country six thousand years ago, none of the world’s capitals existed yet… The invaders who steal the city’s geography, are trying to also steal its history.”

He, who wishes to realize how Muslim scholars twist scientific truths and invent legends, is encouraged to read Dr. Marwan Abu Khalaf:

“The fadā’il al-Quds literature may have existed from the time of the Prophet and continued to be transmitted in the Umayyad and later Islamic periods… The Islamization of Jerusalem occurred in the first year A.H. (620 A.D.), the year when Allah ordered Muslims to face the city as their first Qibla, and when the night journey and ascension to heaven took place.”

Sheikh Kamal Rian of the Israeli Islamic Movement has taken an even more extreme approach, asserting that the al-Aqsa Mosque is more sacred than al-Medina’s because it is mentioned in the Qur’ān. It is the closest point between Earth and Heaven, providing the only direct connection and the entrance to heaven. The Qur’an was revealed to Muhammad in Mecca, and Muhammad ascended to Heaven in al-Aqsa.

Yet, the twisted facts reach the highest peak in the Palestinian claim that the al-Aqsa Mosque is the entire Jerusalem. Therefore, Jerusalem in its entirety is Islamic.

A collection of similar claims demonstrates the absurdity of the lies: Abraham was not a Jew; the Jews never lived in ancient Israel; the Jews never had any connection to Jerusalem; Jerusalem was never a Jewish city; there never was a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem; the Western Wall is not a Jewish holy site; the Tombs of Rachel and Joseph are actually Muslim sites.

Recently, a new trend cherishes Jerusalem’s (made up) place in the Palestinians’ collective national memory, thus imitating the two-thousand-year-old Jewish affirmation of allegiance to Jerusalem:  ”If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. If I do not remember thee, O Jerusalem, let my tongue cleave to roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.” (Psalms, 137:5-6).

To better indoctrinate the Arab/Muslim population, Palestinian television has produced a video clip saying: “Forget I my right arm; forget I my left arm; forget I the light of the eye and the cries of the songs — if I forget Jerusalem.” It is followed by the Friday sermon of the Palestinian minister for religious affairs: “Without Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian state, as it was along the entire history, there will be no peace.”

The Legendary Jewish Temple

Palestinian propaganda has always aimed at denying the Jewish Temple’s location in Jerusalem. The PA’s Mufti, ‘Ikrima Sabri, declared that the Jewish Temple was in Nablus or perhaps Bethlehem, and that al-Aqsa predates the Jewish antiquities. Arafat claimed that the Jews “consider Hebron to be holier than Jerusalem.” Indeed, Dennis Ross attributed much of the Camp David failure to Yasser Arafat, who not only repeated “old mythologies” but invented “a new one … [that] the Temple did not exist in Jerusalem, but in Nablus.” Arafat told Clinton: “I am a religious man, and I will not allow it to be written of me [in history] that I have … confirmed the existence of the so-called Temple underneath the mountain.” However, later on he went even further in his denial of Jewish history, saying that not only had the Jewish Temple never existed in Jerusalem, but that it had never existed anywhere in Palestine.

Sheikh Muhammad Husayn, the director of the al-Aqsa Mosque, asserted that the Jews “claim that the al-Aqsa Mosque was built over the ruins of the alleged Temple … This meant to erase the Islamic culture and to replace it with their alleged culture … This is a place for Muslims, only Muslims. There is no Temple here, only al-Aqsa Mosque and the Qubat al-Sakhrā‘ (Dome of the Rock).”

This denial strategy is exemplified by Saleh Rafat of the PLO Executive Committee:

“We revive the Palestinian heritage and cling to it in order to counter all of the attempts by the Israeli occupation to steal the national heritage and to falsify it with the claim that it is their heritage… Every part of our heritage in our land, they claim is their heritage – even the tunnels they are trying to dig beneath the al-Aqsa Mosque… The Israelis claim that they are seeking an alleged Temple.”

The denial of the Jewish Temple is typically expressed through the use of the word al-Maz’ûm (alleged). The main argument is that no proof of the Temple’s existence has ever been found. An editorial in al-Hayat al-Jadidah in December 2011 is indicative of this theme that the “Jewish Temple” is a big lie, a pure Jewish invention. Mahmud Abbas and all the heads of the PA leadership used the term “Alleged Temple” almost 100 times in the years 2011-2, with their ongoing campaign to deny and to reject any traces of Jerusalem’s Jewish history. Abbas has declared:

“Israel’s purpose is to achieve its black goals: destroying the al-Aqsa Mosque, building its ‘Alleged Temple,’ taking over the Muslim and Christian holy sites, and destroying Jerusalem’s institutions in order to empty it, uproot its residents, and continue its occupation and Judaization… all of Israel’s archeological digs and tunnels… will not change the reality of the city… and will not create a Jewish right based on fantasy and legends… There will be no peace, security, or stability unless the occupation will be evacuated from our holy city and the eternal capital of our state.”

On many other occasions he stated:

“Jerusalem only has Islamic and Christian history; Israel’s ‘Judaization’ is stealing Jerusalem’s cultural, human, and Islamic-Christian religious history… Israel is creating artificial heritage with a Jewish spirit at the expense of Jerusalem’s true and authentic identity, as an Arab, Islamic and Christian city.”

Likewise, Jamal Amar, an archaeologist at bir Zeit University, has denied the existence of an ancient Jewish Temple, calling it “myth” and using the word “the alleged temple.” He emphasized the occupation’s feverish attempts to find antiquities, as architectural testimony, or any other sort of proof to support their hectic efforts to rebuild the alleged Temple, but claimed that all of their findings were from the Arab and Islamic periods, especially the Umayyad and Abbasid period, up to the Ottoman period.

Similarly, PA Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud al-Habbash announced:

“Jerusalem is the key to peace, and Jerusalem can ignite a thousand and one wars. Unless the issue of Jerusalem is solved, so that it returns to its owners; unless Jerusalem will be Palestinian, as it was throughout history, the capital of the Palestinian state and the capital of the Palestinian people, there is no peace. There is no peace without Jerusalem… The term ‘war’ cannot be erased from the lexicon of this region as long as Jerusalem is occupied,… Jerusalem has to return to its owners. And we are its only owners.”

And Walid Awad, former Director of Foreign Publications of the PA Ministry of Information, stated: “The fact is that almost thirty years of excavations did not reveal anything Jewish… Jerusalem is not a Jewish city, despite the biblical myth implanted in some minds… This is the greatest historic crime of forgery.”

The following propaganda is constantly promoted on Palestinian television:

“There is a view that where Masjid al-Aqsa stands was the Holy of Holies of the fictitious Temple. This is merely an illusion. There is no remnant of it. It’s a myth. A story of no value… after 60 years of digging, they have found nothing at all. Not a water jug, not a coin, not any earthen vessel, no bronze weapons, no piece of metal, absolutely nothing of this myth, because it is a myth and a lie. This digging has not left a single meter unturned, but it has achieved absolutely nothing.”

`Ikrima Sabri, the PA Mufti of Jerusalem, reiterated the notion: “There is not even the smallest indication of the existence of a Jewish Temple…in the whole city there is not even a single stone indicating Jewish history.” Jarar al Qidwa, former advisor on educational affairs to Arafat, concurred: “Solomon’s Temple, I believe, was built by the Canaanites… when our Canaanite forefathers came to Palestine; they built the Temple … in Jerusalem.” Taysir Tamimi, PA chief religious official also agreed:

“I know of Muslim and Christian holy sites. I don’t know of any Jewish holy sites in it… Israel has been excavating since 1967 in search of remains of their Temple or their fictitious Jewish history.”

The Western Wall

Not surprisingly, the Palestinians claim that the Western wall has nothing to do with Judaism, and that the Jews refer to the Western Wall in a “false and fraudulent way,” because it is the al-Buraq Wall only, located in the Mughrabi Quarter. `Ikrima Sabri, the PA’s mufti, described the Western Wall as “just a fence belonging to the Muslim holy site” and repeated the oft-heard declaration that “there is not a single stone in the Wailing Wall relating to Jewish history.” It is said that Jews have no connection to any part of the Temple Mount, including the Western Wall, and that the al-Buraq Wall and its plaza are Muslim religious property. As such, the Jews cannot legitimately claim this wall, either religiously or historically.

In a study published by the PA Ministry of Information in November 2010, al-Mutawakil Taha wrote:

“The Zionist occupation falsely and unjustly claims that it owns this wall, which it calls the Western Wall or Kotel… this wall was never part of the so-called Temple Mount, but Muslim tolerance allowed the Jews to stand in front of it and weep over its destruction… no Muslim or Arab or Palestinian had the right to give up one stone of al-Buraq Wall or other religious sites.”

Israel Wishes to Destroy al-Aqsa

Israel’s actions in Jerusalem and archeological excavation near al-Aqsa are viewed as part of a satanic plot, an increasing Israeli madness aimed at destroying the al-Aqsa mosque in order to establish the alleged Temple, claim the Palestinians. They go on claiming Israel digs tunnels beneath as part of “building a Jewish city underground at the expense of the old city, and its historic and holy sites… The occupation continues to pursue the excavations until it reaches its grand and dangerous goal of destroying the mosque… The al-Aqsa Mosque and the archaeological artifacts, religious structures and holy sites it houses are all under a serious threat of collapse at any moment.”

The Palestinians fabricate stories they use to accuse Israel of a deliberate effort to destroy al-Aqsa and to erect the Jewish Temple in its stead. They go on to claim that Israel is constructing a bridge in order to allow more than 5,000 soldiers in armored forces to enter the platform of the al-Aqsa Mosque in their failed attempts to look for their Temple, which they falsely claim existed. This bridge can hold hundreds of soldiers, police officers and vehicles, strategically placed to allow Israeli forces to raid the al-Aqsa Mosque. Moreover, “Israel is stationing missile launchers in the Old City in occupied Jerusalem for bombarding al-Aqsa mosque with missile attacks. The Occupation has closed the city’s gates to Muslims and Christians and is making the city into a Jewish stronghold.”

For the Palestinians, the result is clear, as put by Yasser Arafat: “I will not agree to any Israeli sovereign presence in Jerusalem, and “there is nothing to negotiate about and compromise on when it comes to Jerusalem.” In 2000′s Camp David Convention, Arafat demanded sovereignty over “Jerusalem in its entirety, entirety, entirety.” He reiterated that “al-Quds is in the innermost of the feeling of our people and the feeling of all Arabs, Muslims, and Christians in the world.” Jerusalem has become the center of the Palestinian cause, a casus-belli that “no Palestinian can give up.”
