Veto anti-Israel UN Sec. Council Res. & Move US Embassy ACTION ALERT!!!

The United Coalition for Israel (UCI) wants all pro-Israel individuals and activists to make a concerted effort to STOP the United Nations from bullying Israel about their national/Biblical heritage to Judea-Samaria (branded the West Bank by Jordan which conquered the area booted the Jews already there out and desecrate Jewish holy sites and graves).

Here’s an excerpt about the current delay forced upon the UN.

The UN Security Council postponed its vote on an anti-Israel resolution at the last minute at the request of Egypt, which proposed the draft in the first place.

The United Nations Security Council vote on a draft resolution calling for an end to Jewish construction in all areas desired by the Palestinian Authority for its hoped-for state – and in fact, calling for an end to all Jewish communities in those areas – has been postponed.

According to a Western diplomatic source quoted Thursday by Reuters, the vote was postponed “potentially indefinitely” in response to a request by Egyptian President Abdel el-Sisi. The original draft text of the resolution was circulated by Egypt on Wednesday evening, with the vote by the 15-member Council set for 3 pm ET Thursday.

The text of that resolution demanded that Israel “immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem… “ It said the establishment of settlements by Israel has “no legal validity and constitutes a flagrant violation under international law…. [and] are dangerously imperiling the viability of a two-state solution.”

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement on the PMO website and in a video, appealing to the Obama administration not to allow the READ THE REST (UN Security Council Vote on Anti-Israel Resolution Postponed; By Hana Levi Julian; JewishPress.com; 12/22/16)

http://unitycoalitionforisrael.org/aa/alert.php?id=175 Please take time to take action today. We are asking President Obama to VETO any actions the UN Security Council against Israel and also to encourage President-Elect Trump to fulfill his promise to move the US Embassy in Israel to its rightful place in Jerusalem.

In the spirit of these holidays, we are expressing our joy and elation over the 16 point position paper on Israel (please take time to read it below) written by Jason Dov Greenblatt and David Friedman (Friedman recently chosen by Trump as US Ambassador to Israel).

We could not have expressed these 16 points any more clearly ourselves. The document is a windfall for friends of Israel who support Jewish sovereignty and security in the land. We express our gratitude for this strong stand being taken by the Trump Presidential Transition Team.

In light of the spirit of freedom both Chanukah and Christmas evoke, we want to call our readers to action over 2 issues raised in this key 16 Point Position Paper:

1 – Remind President Obama to VETO the French-introduced UN Security Council resolution proposing the recognition of a Palestinian state within 18 months OR to impose restrictions on Israel regarding any activity within the lands of Judea and Samaria (‘West Bank’). This resolution can take place at any moment and we must make our support for a veto of this resolution known!

2 – Encourage Donald Trump and his team to stand fast on moving the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The US Congressional Law, the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, sponsored by Senator Bob Dole of Kansas, long-time friend of Israel and UCI, was scheduled to be enforced by May of 1999. Let Donald Trump, our new Ambassador David Friedman, and Congress (who voted overwhelmingly for its passage) all know that we also strongly support this move!

Ambassador David Friedman and Jason Dov Greenblatt, Co-Chairmen of the Israel Advisory Committee to Donald J. Trump, should be lauded for their work in bringing about a 16 point masterpiece.

Read and sign the letter below. Copies will be sent to: President Obama, President Elect Donald Trump, Ambassador David Friedman, Jason Dov Greenblatt and your Senator and Representatives

Jason D. Greenblatt, EVP/Chief Legal Officer of The Trump Organization, co-chairman of Mr. Trump’s Israel Advisory Committee & Co-Founder of InspireConversation.com – Nov 2, 2016

Joint Statement from Jason Dov Greenblatt and David Friedman, Co-Chairmen of the Israel Advisory Committee to Donald J. Trump

It has been an exhilarating election cycle. Approximately seven months ago, we were blessed to have been tapped by Donald J. Trump to be his top advisors with respect to the State of Israel. We have been fortunate to work with a talented team of people and have put together the below positions. Each of these positions have been discussed with Mr. Trump and the Trump campaign, and most have been stated, in one form or another, by Mr. Trump in various interviews or speeches given by him or on his social media accounts. For those of you who are true friends of the State of Israel, and for those of you who believe that the State of Israel and the United States of America have an unbreakable friendship, we urge you to read the below. We would like to express our gratitude to those individuals who have helped us over the past few months. We truly appreciate your efforts, friendship and guidance. We would also like to express our gratitude to our friend, a great friend of the State of Israel, Donald J. Trump, who gave us the tremendous opportunity to serve in this capacity. May God bless the United States of America and the State of Israel.

1 – The unbreakable bond between the United States and Israel is based upon shared values of democracy, freedom of speech, respect for minorities, cherishing life, and the opportunity for all citizens to pursue their dreams.

2 – Israel is the state of the Jewish people, who have lived in that land for 3,500 years. The State of Israel was founded with courage and determination by great men and women against enormous odds and is an inspiration to people everywhere who value freedom and human dignity.

3 – Israel is a staunch ally of the U.S. and a key partner in the global war against Islamic jihadism. Military cooperation and coordination between Israel and the U.S. must continue to grow.

4 – The American people value our close friendship and alliance with Israel culturally, religiously, and politically. While other nations have required U.S. troops to defend them, Israelis have always defended their own country by themselves and only ask for military equipment assistance and diplomatic support to do so. The U.S. does not need to nation-build in Israel or send troops to defend Israel.

5 – The Memorandum of Understanding signed by the American and Israeli Governments is a good first step, but there is much more to be done. A Trump Administration will ensure that Israel receives maximum military, strategic and tactical cooperation from the United States, and the MOU will not limit the support that we give. Further, Congress will not be limited to give support greater than that provided by the MOU if it chooses to do so. Israel and the United States benefit tremendously from what each country brings to the table. The relationship is a two way street.

6 – The U.S. should veto any United Nations votes that unfairly single out Israel and will work in international institutions and forums, including in our relations with the European Union, to oppose efforts to delegitimize Israel, impose discriminatory double standards against Israel, or to impose special labeling requirements on Israeli products or boycotts on Israeli goods.

7 – The U.S. should cut off funds for the UN Human Rights Council, a body dominated by countries presently run by dictatorships that seems solely devoted to slandering the Jewish State. UNESCO’s attempt to disconnect the State of Israel from Jerusalem is a one-sided attempt to ignore Israel’s 3,000-year bond to its capital city, and is further evidence of the enormous anti-Israel bias of the United Nations.

8 – The U.S. should view the effort to boycott, divest from, and sanction (BDS) Israel as inherently anti-Semitic and take strong measures, both diplomatic and legislative, to thwart actions that are intended to limit commercial relations with Israel, or persons or entities doing business in Israeli areas, in a discriminatory manner. The BDS movement is just another attempt by the Palestinians to avoid having to commit to a peaceful co-existence with Israel. The false notion that Israel is an occupier should be rejected.

9 – The Trump administration will ask the Justice Department to investigate coordinated attempts on college campuses to intimidate students who support Israel.

10 – A two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians appears impossible as long as the Palestinians are unwilling to renounce violence against Israel or recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. Additionally, the Palestinians are divided between PA rule in the West Bank and Hamas rule in Gaza so there is not a united Palestinian people who could control a second state. Hamas is a US-designated terrorist organization that actively seeks Israel’s destruction. We will seek to assist the Israelis and the Palestinians in reaching a comprehensive and lasting peace, to be freely and fairly negotiated between those living in the region.

11 – The Palestinian leadership, including the PA, has undermined any chance for peace with Israel by raising generations of Palestinian children on an educational program of hatred of Israel and Jews. The larger Palestinian society is regularly taught such hatred on Palestinian television, in the Palestinian press, in entertainment media, and in political and religious communications. The two major Palestinian political parties, Hamas and Fatah, regularly promote anti-Semitism and jihad.

12 – The U.S. cannot support the creation of a new state where terrorism is financially incentivized, terrorists are celebrated by political parties and government institutions, and the corrupt diversion of foreign aid is rampant. The U.S. should not support the creation of a state that forbids the presence of Christian or Jewish citizens, or that discriminates against people on the basis of religion.

13 – The U.S. should support direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians without preconditions, and will oppose all Palestinian, European and other efforts to bypass direct negotiations between parties in favor of an imposed settlement. Any solutions imposed on Israel by outside parties including by the United Nations Security Council, should be opposed. We support Israel’s right and obligation to defend itself against terror attacks upon its people and against alternative forms of warfare being waged upon it legally, economically, culturally, and otherwise.

14 – Israel’s maintenance of defensible borders that preserve peace and promote stability in the region is a necessity. Pressure should not be put on Israel to withdraw to borders that make attacks and conflict more likely.

15 – The U.S. will recognize Jerusalem as the eternal and indivisible capital of the Jewish state and Mr. Trump’s Administration will move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem.

16 – Despite the Iran Nuclear deal in 2015, the U.S. State Department recently designated Iran, yet again, as the leading state sponsor of terrorism, putting the Middle East particularly, but the whole world at risk by financing, arming, and training terrorist groups operating around the world including Hamas, Hezbollah, and forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The U.S. must counteract Iran’s ongoing violations of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action regarding Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons and their noncompliance with past and present sanctions, as well as the agreements they signed, and implement tough, new sanctions when needed to protect the world and Iran’s neighbors from its continuing nuclear and non-nuclear threats.

Meriam and Her American Family Released on Bail, Not Free to Leave, as Possible New Charges Loom in Sudan

By Jordan Sekulow

Jun. 27, 2014 12:00 PM

ACLJ

After being re-arrested less than a day after being released from death row for her Christian faith, Meriam Ibrahim and her American family have reportedly been released from the custody of Sudanese police forces on the condition that they not leave Sudan, as possible charges are brought against them.

They are not free.

Meriam and her American family were about to board a flight to freedom earlier this week, when 40 members of Sudan’s National Intelligence Security Service (known as the “Agents of Fear”) detained her along with her American husband and her two American kids – Martin, a toddler, and Maya, a newborn baby girl.  After being detained at the airport, Meriam and her American family were arrested and taken to the police station.

Sudan is accusing Meriam of attempting to use an “illegal [false] travel document” in trying to leave the country and is accusing her husband – a U.S. citizen – of being an accomplice.  It is unclear from reports if Sudan has formally charged Meriam with a crime, one that could carry with it a seven-year prison sentence, or whether they are still investigating the allegations.

Regardless, the fact remains that Meriam, her American husband, and her American kids are not free to leave the country.

Meriam’s attorney stated, “Meriam was released after a guarantor was found, but, of course, she would not be able to leave the country.”  Unlike bail in the U.S., in Sudan a guarantor would not just forfeit money, that person may actually have to stand in the place of Meriam criminally were she to flee the country.

According to press accounts, her lawyer also stated that Meriam and her American family are now in the U.S. embassy.  This is a critically important development for her safety.  However, they are not free to leave Sudan.

The United States must never let Meriam and her family who are U.S. citizens leave their sight from this point forward.  There were reports that when Meriam was taken into custody at the airport, it was done in the presence of U.S. diplomatic personnel.  This can never happen again.

Yesterday, a U.S. State Department spokesperson said that “from our perspective, Meriam has all of the documents she needs to travel to and enter the United States. It’s up to the Government of Sudan to allow her to exit the country.”

Later that day the State Department released a short statement, providing:

The State Department has received confirmation that Meriam Ibrahim Ishag has been released on bail and is no longer being detained at a Sudanese police station. She and her family are in a safe location and the Government of Sudan has assured us of the family’s continued safety. The Embassy remains highly engaged in Ms. Ishag’s case. We will provide more information as it becomes available consistent with privacy laws.

The Obama Administration, and the State Department in particular, must continue to aggressively demand freedom for Meriam and her American family.  While not physically in the custody of the Sudanese government at the present time, Meriam and her American family are not truly free until they are safely in America.

It would be an act of diplomatic malpractice were the U.S. to allow Meriam and her American family to fall back into the hands of the Sudanese government – the government that just days ago planned to execute her for her Christian faith.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans have demanded Meriam’s freedom.  Meriam expressed her gratitude for that support when she left the police station, telling the BBC, “I would like to thank those who stood beside me.”

At the ACLJ, we will not rest until Meriam, Martin, Maya, and Daniel, their American husband and father, are safely home.  Join us by urging the Obama Administration to take direct action to bring them homeSign the petition at BeHeardProject.com.  And please continue to pray.

A cover-up in Libya?

ACT - We've had enough petition banner

It drives me crazy when President Barack Hussein Obama tells the voters that Republicans are out of touch with Americans! BHO has screwed the economy. BHO has screwed the American image with weakness particularly with Muslims that hate our guts. AND BHO has screwed American Foreign Policy with a future agenda of weakening America further by dismembering the American military.

Come on voters! Are we going to continue to believe the BHO lies, smoke and mirrors to deceive us? I say NO!

Let’s do a pre-election notice to BHO and sign this petition that ACT for America is circling about being fed up with Obama’s Foreign Policy choices making us weak and a target for Islamic Supremacism.

A cover-up in Libya?

Since our Egyptian and Libyan embassies were attacked we’ve seen a steady stream of statements from the Obama administration, some in Congress, and some in the media and academia, who blame an obscure 14 minute film for the outbreak of the violence.

The Obama administration went so far as to pressure YouTube to take the film down! In a victory for free speech, YouTube refused.

These efforts to blame the film are dangerous and misguided. What’s more, there is growing evidence that the administration is blaming the film in an effort to cover up what really happened in Libya—a planned and coordinated terrorist attack on our consulate that, inexplicably, we were unprepared for.

The Libyan president and numerous intelligence sources dispute the Obama administration’s claims that the Libyan attack was a “spontaneous” mob outburst. These sources insist all the evidence points to a planned terrorist attack.

If this is true, the administration is not only emboldening radical Muslims worldwide with its constant references to the film, it is sending a message to terrorist networks everywhere that it will attempt to cover up for its own mistakes with assaults on free speech.

We’ve Had Enough!!

Since the unjustified assaults on the U.S. embassies in Cairo and Libya, many in the Obama administration, the Congress, the media, and academia, have apologized, blamed or insinuated that a satirical film about Mohammed was the catalyst for all the violence.

We, the undersigned, know better—and we’ve had enough.

We’ve had enough of the Obama administration’s efforts to placate Islamist mobs motivated by ideology, or hatred of America, or just plain thuggery, with its repeated references to this obscure film that prior to September 11, 2012, no one had ever heard of.

We’ve had enough of the Obama administration and some Members of Congress insinuating or even implying that the violence against our embassies would not have occurred had it not been for this “offense” against Islam.

We’ve had enough of those who say a single blog post about an obscure film satirizing Islam is somehow responsible for the violence and anger raging throughout the Muslim world.

We’ve had enough of political leaders who cower in the face of the intimidation and bullying tactics of radical Muslims around the world who can never be appeased enough or accommodated enough.

We’ve had enough of the “establishment media’s” double standard, who defend satirical films and art that offend Christians and Jews as “free speech,” but condemn satire that offends Muslims as “hate speech.”

We’ve had enough of American politicians who fail to see or refuse to see the clear and present threat the Muslim Brotherhood poses to the United States.

We’ve had enough of the message of weakness coming out of Washington when what is required now is a defense of America, a defense of our values, strength, courage and resolve.

We are the silent majority in America.

We don’t riot when offended. We don’t storm embassies, kill ambassadors, or torch government buildings.

And we know that we’ve been here once before.

In 1979, we said “enough” to an economy in shambles, skyrocketing gas prices, and a president whose weakness emboldened Iranian radicals to hold Americans hostage for 444 days.

On November 6th, we will again say “enough,” just as patriotic and responsible Americans have said “enough” in the past.

We will VOTE.

ALL of Jerusalem is Israel’s Capital

Western (Wailing) Wall

John R. Houk

© March 31, 2012

The American people have spoken via their representation in Congress that Jerusalem must be recognized as the capital of Israel. This happened in 1995. Every President since then through today has not honored American representation to recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital. That would be two Democrats and one Republican: Clinton, Bush and Obama.

As far as Israel is concerned Jerusalem is the capital. Jerusalem is the City of David. Jerusalem is the citadel of Zion. Jerusalem is the city of God’s Presence. If Israel was more Jewish Observant than secular, there would be a stronger feeling the Temple Mount is being desecrated with the existence of two non-Jewish Mosques where the Temple of God should exist.

It is the existence of those two Mosques and the violence of Islam that the nations of the world refuse to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. In 1948 Israel fought for its existence to be an independent nation as all the surrounding Muslim nations vowed to invade the nascent nation to drive all the off their land of heritage and into the sea. Israel was greatly outnumbered. The Arab-Muslim army that was the most successful against the emerging Jewish Defense Forces (IDF) was Jordan’s army then dubbed the Arab Legion. The Arab Legion’s success against Israel can be attributed to one factor. The officer leadership of the Arab Legion was British including the Arab Legion’s commanding General.  Under the leadership of the British the Arab Legion drove to the gates of the Jewish Quarter of the Old City Jerusalem. Israel was forced to surrender the Old City which was the Eastern half of Jerusalem. In effect the Old City half of Jerusalem was conquered by Jordan with the help of Great Britain.

Under the protection of the Arab Legion; Muslims desecrated Jewish Synagogues, graves, Jewish places of historical significance and forced Jews of the Jewish Quarter to leave their homes that had roots into the thousands of years. That was 1948. In 1967 another alliance of Muslim-Arab nations tried to destroy Israel. Israel won handily and recovered East Jerusalem along with the Judea-Samaria area dubbed the West Bank by Jordan.

I believe it was a miracle of God Almighty that Israel was preserved and became the Jewish State. Israel became a safe haven for Jews to move back to without worry of a government persecuting them for being Jewish. Unfortunately the trade-off of freedom from persecution was to live in eternal vigilance to repulse Jew-haters that desire Jewish blood for merely returning to a sliver of land that was promised as an eternal possession from God Almighty to be a blessing to all the nations of the world.

Jewish people will disagree with this but part of that blessing is the coming of the Messiah Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation is of the Jews. Jesus has brought Redemption to all who believe in His death, burial and Resurrection as Lord. Redemption is here for individuals but full Redemption will come for nations and the earth at the Messiah’s Second Coming. Salvation is of the Jews. Jewish possession of Israel and the Holy City of Jerusalem is a precursor to the Second Coming Jesus Christ the Son of God and the son of David. In the plan of God the Jews are essential in the Redemption of the nations and the earth.

Whether a Biblical Christian (UNFORTUNATELY there is a large segment of Christianity that is more influenced by humanism and less influenced by the Bible) or a Jewish person, it should be agreed upon that Jerusalem is Jewish and is the capital of Israel.

That being established I am on record that the United States of America has played the dhimmi by not backing Israel by joining Congress and recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

The American diplomatic corps via the State Department has the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv as do the other nations of the world that have diplomatic relations with Israel. America does have a Consulate in Jerusalem. I understand from Caroline Glick that the State Department via the Consulate is downright hostile to Jewish Israeli citizens that approach with personal business. Glick relates a personal tale about the American Consulate in Jerusalem that reflects the attitude of President Barack Hussein Obama toward Israel. Check it out and be prepared to be annoyed.

Iran’s plot to blow up Israeli targets in Azerbaijan thwarted

Iran’s plot to blow up Israeli targets in Azerbaijan thwarted

By Mike Evans

Sent by Jerusalem Pray Team

Shalom from the Holy City of Jerusalem. It’s the midnight hour, and I am up praying for Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Prayer Team members. The Spirit is saying to me right now, “Awake! The King is coming!” Matthew 25:1-6 says:

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.'”

The threat to Israel is growing day by day.  This week, authorities in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, announced the arrests of nearly two dozen people involved in an Iranian plot to attack Jewish and American embassies and staffers in Azerbaijan.  Many of those arrested had been to Iran for training, and the Azeri government said Iran’s intelligence services and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard were directly involved in planning the attacks.

This is at least the sixth foreign country where plots against Jewish people have either been carried out or stopped prior to their execution.  Today there is not a Jewish person anywhere in the world who is safe from the demonic hatred and anti-Semitism that drives the enemies of God’s Chosen People to seek their destruction.

While here in Israel I am once again standing with the Jewish people as your ambassador, assuring them that even if the American government will not support them in the crisis hour, we will.  Today I’m asking you to send a generous gift to help us continue to prepare to meet the urgent needs of the people of Israel in the coming war.

Once the war starts, it will be too late.  We must help now, or many will die.  Your gift today to the Jerusalem Prayer Team can literally be the difference between life and death.  Please join me right now in praying a commanded blessing on every loving heart that responds to this urgent call for help.

While here in Jerusalem, I have set aside a special time to pray for your needs and those of my beloved Jerusalem Prayer Team partners.  Will you please share your most pressing prayer need with me today so that I can take it before the Lord in agreement with you in the Holy City?  I appreciate so much the help our prayer team members have already made possible.

We have provided a number of bomb shelters for Jewish school children to have a safe place when the rockets fall from the skies.  But we must do more.  We must begin to accumulate medical supplies and relief stockpiles.  We must continue to provide food and warm clothing to the poor of Israel.  We must help find and provide safe places for people to take shelter during attacks. Though everyone in Israel is at risk, there are only bomb shelters and safe places for about half of the population!  Your gift today is both a witness to the Jewish people of God’s love and a practical, life-saving help as we face the coming war.

SHARE YOUR PRAYER REQUEST: http://jerusalemprayerteam.org/god-answers-prayer.asp

Israel today stands on the brink of all-out war–a war that will kill or injure thousands of precious Jewish men, women, and children.  We must do all that we can to defend the Jewish state and God’s Chosen People.  In addition, the Jerusalem Prayer Team is working to meet the needs of the poor and elderly in Israel.  Your gift helps us provide warm clothes, food and medicine for those in urgent need.

When you send your gift of any amount, we will send you a lovely color Masada print.  At this ancient fortress, Israeli soldiers make the holy vow “Never Again!”  With your gift of $40 or more we will send you the print and a beautiful Jerusalem Prayer Team mezuzah for your home.  If you are able to send $1,000 or more, we will send you both of those items as well as a large silver-trimmed shofar.  Handmade according to the traditions passed down for centuries, this museum-quality piece will tell everyone that you are committed to sounding the alarm for the defense of Israel.
