A Mockery of Peace

Obama's Idiotic Perception Israel-Palestinian peace toon

According to Abed Rabbo [secretary of the PLO Executive Committee], the US Secretary of State’s proposal includes Palestinian recognition of Israel as a Jewish state; establishing part of East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine; resolving the refugee problem in accordance with the vision of former US President Bill Clinton; maintaining Israeli control of major settlement blocs and leasing the others back to Israel; Israel’s control over border crossings and air space; and the presence of US-Israel-Jordan-Palestinian security forces on the border. “The Israelis would also have the right of ‘hot pursuit’ of fugitives or suspected criminals in the Palestinian state,” he revealed. “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected these ideas because he wants to carve out the land he wants and refuses to discuss the Jerusalem issue. He also refuses the intervention of any other party in security matters, even America.” (PLO official reveals full details of Kerry’s plan; From Middle East Monitor, Translated from Safa; 1/26/14 13:42)

The Middle East Monitor writes through the filter of being Pro-Palestinian. You will notice the Pro-Palestinian bent if you happen to read the entire news report on Abed Rabbo’s disclosure. Typically the Palestinians intend to reject Kerry’s Plan because of minor details of having to recognize Israel as a Jewish State. AND that works for me because there is NO WAY Israel should give up its heritage of the entire city of Jerusalem especially the eastern half in which the Temple Mount is located. If the Palestinians shockingly gave up their nitpicking and accept the Kerry Plan for a Two-State Solution then Israel’s concurrence would not only mean treason to Jew heritage but also set the framework for the Jewish State’s demise through indefensible borders.

Justin O. Smith lays out the Antisemitism involved in shoving the Kerry Plan down the throat of the Jewish State of Israel.

A Mockery of Peace

Israel gives the world no peace, it bars slumber, it teaches the world to be discontented and restless as long as the world has not God. -Jacques Maritain

The modern racism, which yearned to eliminate Jews from society as a gardener would root out weeds, the sort of racism that allowed pogroms to flourish across Russia and Europe in the 1890s and culminated in the death camps of the 1940s in Nazi Germany, is on the rise once more in Europe and America, with U.S. president Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry leading the way. In an overt act of anti-Semitism, Kerry recently remarked in the affirmative and in agreement with several European leaders that boycotts and sanctions against Israel may be needed to force Israel to accept the Kerry Plan for “peace” and a two state solution, as if Israel does not want peace and the Palestinians’ claims in the area are not specious and false.

While the Kerry Plan does call for the Palestinians to recognize the right of Israel to exist as the state of the Jewish people, two of its main points certainly must be non-starters for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: Israel is to withdraw from the West Bank to the 1967 borders, and East Jerusalem will become the Palestinian capital.

Since the land of Israel in 1948 accounted for less than a fourth of the land originally designated “Palestine,” and Jordan, an Islamic/Palestinian state that forbids Jews settlement rights by law, was carved out of the Palestinian “Jewish National Home,” how can the Arabs be said to have been excluded from a “Palestinian homeland”?

Just how much land will Israel have to relinquish in order to achieve real peace? All of it according to Yasir Arafat, former head of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, when he spoke with world renown journalist Oriana Fallaci in Amman, Jordan in March 1972.

President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority and head of the Fatah Party recently proposed an old NATO security proposal for the area that was favored by former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and former U.S. President George W. Bush. Abbas will accept a U.S. led NATO and Jordanian force into the Palestinian state indefinitely to prevent the sort of terrorism that occurred after Israel disengaged from Gaza in 2004. Abbas also allows that a “third party” can stay in the newly demilitarized West Bank “for a long time…to reassure the Israelis and to protect us” (the Palestinians).

No, this plan should not offer Israel any comfort. Abbas and the Palestinians will be the only winners, gaining their new state. Israel’s national security will be compromised, as they attempt to defend a barely defensible position from behind the 1967 borders. This places Israel at a severe disadvantage from the start, should any new conflict arise. With NATO’s ability to ensure any real security suspect at best, for Israel, it is like starting a chess game without one’s queen.

Many so-called experts are discussing this framework agreement, as though it is a morally superior endeavor to all previous peace talks. However, whether we speak of the 1915 Sykes-Picot Agreement, the 1917 Balfour Treaty, the 1922 British Mandate and through each successive agreement to the Kerry Plan, most of the world has sought to undermine the State of Israel, while proclaiming otherwise. And now, the U.S. government too is undermining Israel, America’s long-time ally.

Netanyahu does not trust the Palestinians to negotiate honestly, as he stated recently: “I do not want a binational state. But we also don’t want another state that will start attacking us.” And, intuitively, Netanyahu rightly does not trust Obama and Kerry, as was evident three weeks ago when he said, “Israel does not have to agree with everything America presents.”

The peace talks, scheduled to end April 29, nearly ended prematurely, when the Israelis announced on January 10, 2014 that they intended to build 1400 housing units in east Jerusalem and the West Bank. Saeb Erekat, Palestinian chief negotiator, was highly upset, but Erekat and all involved in this framework agreement process understood that settlement construction would continue full force during negotiations.

Although Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political base opposes the Kerry Plan, Netanyahu sees a two state solution of some sort, as necessary for Israel’s integrity as a Jewish democratic state, with healthy ties to Europe and the West for the sake of Israel’s economy. In this light, John Kerry’s coercion and economic blackmail are especially egregious, despicable and unnecessary; Kerry has damaged any future peace process, harmed Israel and damaged U.S.-Israeli diplomatic relations, but many Americans did not expect anything less from a man of such low character.

Once one reviews the historical record and understands that the British gave away Jewish land to the landless Arab/Muslims who were displaced by Islamic feudal practices and extortionate taxation, not by the Jews, and, in conjunction one reads various quotes from decades past, one realizes anti-Semitism never goes away; it just becomes more glib: “The greatest contemporary hero (in the Muslim world) is Hitler.” – John Gunther, ‘Inside Asia’, 1939; in 1974, Syrian PLO leader, Zuheir Muhsein explained, “Our purpose…it (a Palestinian state) will be a point of departure…This State will be the backbone of our struggle against Israel.” This mindset prevails today across the Middle East.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stands against diplomatic storms that threaten to annihilate Israel eventually – God forbid – and liberal Jews in Israel’s Labor Party and in America who are advocating the Kerry Plan are making Israel’s situation tragic and unbearable. Bibi Netanyahu must reject outright this plan and Kerry and Obama, with all their bias towards the Palestinians, as Israel seeks new allies and economic partners; Bibi must reject Oslo and all previous accords. He must find the political will and support to annex Gaza and the West Bank, as he proceeds with a forced removal/repatriation of the Palestinians to Jordan or the rest of the Arab world. The world uttered not a peep when this was done to 2 million Russians, against their will, under the Marshall Plan after WWII, but listen to the outcry when this proves necessary for Israel. And, if the tragedy of Bethlehem under Palestinian control is any indication of things to come, at the very least, Jerusalem must always stay united and complete as the proper capital of Israel. All of this is preferable to a sham “peace” agreement that only serves Israel’s enemies.

Genesis 12:2 – I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great.

Yesterday Caroline Glick posted this article on her website: Dumping irrationality as a national strategy. I like Glick because she is no fan of the so-called land for peace Two-State Policy that robs Israel and Jews of their national heritage. I haven’t read Glick’s book entitled “The Israeli Solution: A One-State Plan for Peace in the Middle East”. From those I have read that talk about Glick’s “Manifesto” advocating a One-State Solution for Israel and the Arabs that call themselves Palestinian, they imply the Glick advocates outright annexation of Judea-Samaria and Gaza and then give the Arabs full citizenship. I am not so sure I am on board with that path, but I would love reading her book to see if her thoughts do have an actual solution. At any rate the Obama-Kerry solution of forcing Israel to give up land and release murdering Islamic terrorists from prison is definitely an unacceptable path for Israel’s existence and to perpetuate Jewish heritage.

If President Barack Hussein Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry have their way this land for peace garbage will also take away the eternal holy city of the Jews in Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. History and the Bible are a good enough argument that the lands Islamic terrorists desire to usurp to create a Jew-hating nation are very important geographical locations to all of Judaism. In Glick’s article she is particularly scathing because to appease the Obama Administration Israel has been forced to release Jew-killing prison convicts back into the society governed autonomously by the Palestine Authority (PA) which is headed by Mahmoud Abbas who is also the Chairman of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) which was inherited (or usurped) after Yasser Arafat died (Russian autopsy revelations).

Glick’s article from yesterday is also very critical of the Centrist (though Left leaning in my opinion – Justice Minister) Tzipi Livni. Livni is determined to aid the Arabs in establishing a Palestinian State. She has recently developed a Two-State Solution plan that may be tempting for the Israeli Right to accept. Her solution is a population transfer that is basically a land-swap between Jewish Settlements and Arab populations that are in the minority in Judea-Samaria. For greater clarity this means moving Jews that are surrounded by Arabs into Judea-Samaria areas that are preeminently Jewish. And moving Arabs out of the preeminently Jewish areas of Judea-Samaria into areas that are already an Arab majority. Livni’s plan is astonishingly similar to Foreign Minister Avignor Lieberman’s plan which was roundly criticized as being a plan from an extreme Right Wing Israeli. I will be interested how Livni’s plan is received since she has a reputation of pro-Palestinian and more centrist than Right Wing. Incidentally neither Lieberman nor Livni would describe their plans as a population transfer as much as a workable Two-State Solution.

Frankly I believe the Arabs that call themselves Palestinian view of a plan for sovereignty will neither a Two-State or One-State Plan, rather their plan is more akin to a Palestinian State Plan that eradicates Jews and Israel altogether. You can go to Palestinian Media Watch to read and see the Jew-hatred and the vitriol against the lives and existence of Israel and Jews in particular sponsored with PA, Hamas and Hezbollah funds.

Livni Team Thinking Outside the Box: Swap Israeli Arabs for Settlers

By Yori Yanover
January 1st, 2014

JewishPress.com

A senior Israeli source close to the peace negotiations has told Maariv that Israel has proposed to the U.S. a population exchange with the Palestinian state that will not require a physical transfer.

The idea is to turn over the “Arab triangle,” where about 300 thousand Israeli Arabs live today in the eastern Sharon Valley (near Netanya), in return for the “block settlements” in Judea and Samaria, which include Gush Etzion, the Shchem area, Maale Adumim near Jerusalem and possibly the Hebron area. Such a swap would also most likely include the Jordan Valley.

The proposed swap would not include the “outposts,” which are more scattered and whose legal status is in dispute.

From the tone of the official speaking to Maariv, it appears that the idea could catch fire at this point in time, because it is far more likely to be embraced by a majority of Israeli Jews. It’s greatest claim to fame is the fact that it “only” removes 100 to 150 thousand settlers from their homes, a number which many Israelis could live with. This number has been bandied around by Science Minister Yaakov Perry in recent days, as the unavoidable “painful sacrifice” the Jewish state must endure for the sake of peace.

Kerry might be tempted to entertain this idea in public, even if he does not end up actually endorsing it, because it would appeal to the right wing in Israel as well as in the U.S. Fewer people get hurt, Israel is rid of part of a significant ethnic minority that can threaten the Jewish character of the state (Remember the ticking demographic bomb? It ain’t ticking so much, as Arab birthrate has been declining, but it still sounds good).

Last time this idea was contemplated, by current Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, it evoked a very negative, even angry response from the left, and from the Arab Israelis, who accused Lieberman of racism. Hard to tell why physically uprooting Jews is not racism, but merely redrawing the border to the west of an area rather than its east is racist.

Of course, the main reason the Triangle Arabs hated this proposal, and no doubt will despise it again, is because they’re nobody’s fools: why move from a Western democracy to a third world PLO (and later Hamas) dictatorship?

Also, the 100 to 150 thousand settlers and their loved ones will not be enamoured with the expulsion part. And, of course, the Palestinian negotiators will hate it because, to be fair, it kind of favors Israel, legitimizing upwards of half a million Jewish settlers, while at the same time helping it unload an ancient security problem—the Arab Triangle.

In my humble opinion, while I remain certain of the hopelessness of the Kerry effort, beginning to end, I must admit that this is just the kind of out of the box thinking that would boost the near-defunct 2-state solution.

Did you hug a released Palestinian terrorist today?

YOU KNOW the USA and EU Work AGAINST Israel, Right?

BHO stands with Israel-Leans to PA toon

John R. Houk

You know the Mainstream Media is primarily Leftist in its worldview, right? You know that the Democratic Party is not even close to the projected image of a reputation as the Party of the People, right? You know that Leftists blame Israel’s existence for all the violence projected toward the West, right? You know that Left influenced Western nations – including the USA’s Left Wing government – have joined together to force Israel to give up more of their ancestral land to placate a group of Arabs that were self-proclaimed as Palestinians ONLY in the 1960s under the influence of Jew-Hating Muslim Arab nations under the guise of theopolitical Islamic Supremacism. These Arab nations had no intention of creating a “Palestinian State,” you know that right? From 1948 through 1967 the goal of Arab nations surrounding the rebirthed nation Israel was to destroy it and divvy up the land between the biggest Arab military dogs bordering Israel; viz. Egypt, Jordan and Syria, you know that right?

Under the illusion of “land for peace” the UN, the EU, the USA and Russia are placing unreported (in America anyway) diplomatic arm twisting to force Israel to give up Judea-Samaria (aka West Bank) and the eastern half of the Holy City Jerusalem – which by the way contains the huge wall remnants of the ancient Jewish Temple – to a group of Arabs that really have no ancestral ties to the ancient land of Israel. There are NO Palestinians. There are Arabs that are descendants of refugees that awaited invading Arab armies to kill the Jews and claim the land as conquest in the same way Islam has done for over 1500 years.

Therein lies the real Middle Eastern problem: Islamic holy writings call for Jihad to expel any infidel that has retaken land once conquered by Muslim armies. God help us! That includes that miniscule amount of land that is only a fraction of Israel’s ancestry. Islam must destroy Israel because its existence is an effrontery and insult to Allah and the false-deity’s prophet Mohammed. And if you watch the news YOU KNOW how Muslims react when they believe their deity and prophet have been maligned by non-Muslims. Muslims go hog-wild in rampages of destruction and death against the closest symbols of the West or the unfortunate non-Muslims (mostly Christians) living in Muslim dominated lands.

Obama uses EU to confront Israel with tough interlinked choices: borders or nuclear-armed Iranhttp://www.debka.com/article/23124/Obama-uses-EU-to-confront-Israel-with-tough-interlinked-choices-borders-or-nuclear-armed-Iran-

It doesn’t take a political genius to see how US Secretary of State John Kerry’s arrival in Amman Tuesday, July 16, for his sixth bid to bring Israelis and the Palestinians to the table, ties in with the new EU anti-Israel funding guidelines published on the same day. To avoid a head-on clash with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, the US president has loosed the Europeans in full cry against Jerusalem and its policies. European Union foreign affairs executive Catherine Ashton chairs the international negotiating forum with Iran. And so, the EU has given Tehran a broad wink that it is worth its while to come to a fresh round of nuclear diplomacy while Israel is kept on the run in the settlements-cum-borders dispute.

Israel is further weakened by its own internal political difficulties.

The third Netanyahu cabinet is painfully shorthanded of ministers for dealing with foreign diplomacy and national security affairs. In the absence of a foreign minister, shackled with a new cabinet which took office in February, and beset with a reshuffle of his close aides, the prime minister is obliged to carry himself most of the burden for key decisions on the essential business of state.

When he decides not to decide on any issue, that issue is shuffled into the pending tray to await his attention – and of late, this is happening too often.

Netanyahu is taxed currently with keeping tabs on the conflict close to Israel’s borders in Egyptian Sinai, the threatened spillover of the Syrian war – only part of which reaches the public – and the approach of a nuclear Iran, which he admits is dangerously close to consummation. Every few weeks, he is put on the spot for fast decisions by US Secretary of State Kerry’s peace drive.

It is no wonder that Netanyahu drops some of the balls he is juggling.

The last ball to slip out of his hands was the new European Commission’s new guideline for the alliance to distinguish between the state of Israel and territories outside the 1967 Green Line for the purpose of co-funding projects and grants.

This guideline is grounded in the EU’s fixed determination that East Jerusalem, Gaza, the West Bank and the Golan were illegally occupied by Israel after the 1967 Arab-Israel war. The “settlements” housing more than a half a million Jews are likewise deemed illegal. Therefore, from Jan. 1, 2014, any Israeli entity seeking European project funding or grants will be obliged to declare it has no connection, direct or indirect, with a “settlement.”

There is nothing new about this determination. The European Union has for years boycotted goods manufactured in settlements and demanded that Israel exporters label their products with the source of manufacture. Ever since 1967, the UK has withheld pensions and allowances from British expatriates living outside the Green Line until they relocate to addresses London deems kosher.

And that is only one of many examples.

However, the new guidelines have exacerbated the rift between Brussels and Jerusalem and signal a further deterioration. If in future every Israeli firm is required before every financial or business transaction with Europe to disassociate from EU-proscribed Jewish communities, then bilateral trade, whose volume has climbed to 40 billion euros, will gradually decline, with as much economic fallout for Europe as for Israel.

Israel’s prime minister responded fast and hard to the new EU guidelines with a bitter broadside for what he sees as outside interference in the definition of Israel’s borders, in a manner which compromises direct Israel negotiations with the Palestinians. Direct negotiations are the only way to define those borders, he stressed, and the EU measure had the effect of tilting them in the Palestinians’ favor.

Netanyahu was particularly incensed by the EU dropping its bombshell on the day John Kerry arrived in Amman to pick up his mission for reviving the peace track, which he interrupted empty-handed earlier this month.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon greeted Kerry’s arrival by eulogizing his mission, accusing the Palestinians of burying it by sheer obstructionism. Ya’alon no doubt followed the line set by the prime minister.

Kerry spent five hours talking to Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas Tuesday night, in yet another effort to melt his insistence on Israel meeting his preconditions for a meeting.

By Wednesday morning, the US Secretary had not yet arranged to meet Israeli officials this time round.

Israeli policy-makers understand that Washington is dodging a showdown with Netanyahu by using the Europeans to clobber his policies at a moment of internal weakness in Jerusalem. Now they realize they must brace urgently for the next chapter in the Obama campaign: Ashton will build on the EU steps to get a fresh round of world power-Iranian nuclear negotiations underway by persuading Tehran that Brussels, with Washington’s backing, is in full flight of a diplomatic campaign for cutting Israel down to size.

By pulling the wires behind the European campaign, the Obama administration is after three goals:

1. Persuading Tehran to return to international diplomacy on its nuclear program by diminishing Israel’s leverage.

2. Confronting Israel with diplomatic isolation on an issue of prime importance to its security, i.e., the prospect of a nuclear-armed Iran, unless the Netanyahu government agrees to concessions to the Palestinians on final borders.

3. Warning Netanyahu that his failure to toe the Obama line on the Syrian conflict and the Egyptian army coup will cost Israel dear. Instead of lining up with what is seen in the region as an ineffectual Washington, Israel struck out on its own to play ball with regional forces on the move, the Arab rulers of the Gulf and the Egyptian army. The US president has used the European Union to make sure Jerusalem understands that he too will pursue his own game – and it will be at the expense of Israel’s interests.

EU Redraws Israel Borders to 1949 Lineshttp://the-end-time.blogspot.com/2013/07/eu-redraws-israel-borders-to-1949-lines.html

The title above is from Israel National News this evening. The recent re-attention to Israel by the US in its attempts to re-start the peace talks, Israel’s hints to engage in a military option very soon regarding Iran, and this bold and highly non-biblical, non-God approved move to re-draw Israel’s lines heats the prophetic landscape up to a very prophetic degree.

For the first time, the EU formally forbids trade with bodies located beyond 1949 Armistice lines, including Golan

“The European Union has issued orders forbidding its member states from cooperating, transferring funds, giving scholarships or research grants to bodies in Judea and Samaria, eastern Jerusalem, and even the Golan Heights, Haaretz wrote Tuesday. The new instruction, promulgated by the European Commission, which is the operative arm of the EU, sets parameters for cooperation between the EU and its members states, on the one hand, and Israeli governmental and private elements on the other. The instructions are for the years 2014 – 2020 and will go into force on Friday, July 18. The decision also states that any future agreement signed with Israel must include a section that says the “settlements” are not part of sovereign Israel and therefore not included in the agreement. A senior source in the Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that the new EU decision is dramatic, and can be called “a true earthquake.”

I agree, it is huge.

How dare they say what Israel’s sovereign borders are! Israel is its own nation, and sets its own borders. Going even higher, the LORD takes a personal and intimate interest in His nation and His Land.

“Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3)

Israel responded:

Israel Condemns EU Move to Limit Funds Beyond 1967 Border

“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would accept “no external dictates” on its borders after a European Union decision to restrict subsidies to organizations operating beyond its 1967 borders.” I would expect that anyone for whom stability and peace in the region is really important to find time to discuss this issue after resolving more urgent problems such as the civil war in Syria and Iran’s race to achieve nuclear weapons,” Netanyahu said in a text message.”

“The European Commission, the union’s executive arm, said it will soon publish “guidelines” making good on a December pledge to deny EU funding to Israeli organizations in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Golan Heights.” All Israeli entities whose place of establishment is within the green line will be considered eligible,” EU spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic told reporters in Brussels today. The green line refers to Israel’s pre-1967 borders. The guidelines will cover central EU funding and won’t affect contracts between individual European governments and Israel, Kocijancic said. She said the result could be funding restrictions in “a very small number of cases.”

‘Disconnected Europe’

“Israeli captured the three areas during the 1967 Middle East War with its Arab neighbors. It has since withdrawn troops and evacuated settlements in Gaza and annexed the Golan in a move that has not been recognized internationally. Israel says the fate of settlements in the West Bank must be resolved in peace negotiations.”

“The EU decision shows “once again how disconnected Europe is, and why it can’t play a real partnership role in negotiations” between Israel and the Palestinians, Minister of Regional Development Silvan Shalom said today on Army Radio. Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Executive Committee, welcomed what she called a “significant move.” “The EU has moved from the level of statements, declarations and denunciations to effective policy decisions and concrete steps which constitute a qualitative shift that will have positive impact on the chances of peace,” she said. The decision comes before a visit to the region this week by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who is trying to revive peace talks that have been suspended since 2010.”

Isolating Israel…it’s prophesied. Though the fulfillment will occur at Armageddon, the unbroken line of prophetic history hurtling us down the timeline to that moment is speeding ever closer.

“The burden of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: Thus declares the Lord, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him: “Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah. “On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it.” (Zechariah 12:1-3)

Netanyahu’s quote about stability and peace… yes…it’s all about peace and security.

“While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

UPDATE

War drums beating again. We’ve had a little ‘time off’ from the near misses, brinksmanship and vitriolic rhetoric, but now it’s (sic) back. This time with action, not just words. It is widely believed that Israel is behind the strike on Syria’s Russian-anti ship missiles

U.S. Officials: Israel Behind Recent Syria Airstrike

“A series of explosions last week at a critical Syrian port was the result of airstrikes by Israeli warplanes, multiple U.S. officials told CNN on Friday. Regional media widely reported the predawn explosions at Latakia on July 5, but no one had officially claimed responsibility. Three U.S. officials told CNN the target of the airstrikes were Russian-made Yakhont anti-ship missiles that Israel believes posed a threat to its naval forces. The officials declined to be named because of the sensitive nature of the information. So far, the Israeli government has also declined to comment to CNN. The Syrian rebels said on Tuesday that “foreign forces” had destroyed advanced Russian anti-ship missiles in Latakia, hinting that Israel may have been behind the attack.”

But then later the US said for sure that Israel did the deed.

Russia did not take that lightly, or even lying down. “Coincidentally” Russia just ordered 160,000 troops to combat readiness in a “surprise drill” and said to be ready by July 13.

‘Russia stages large-scale military drills’

“Russia has staged large-scale military exercises in the country’s Eastern military district aimed at enhancing the defense capabilities of its armed forces, Defense Ministry says. The drills, which are the largest surprise check of combat readiness of the Russian military in the post-Soviet period, started on Saturday. The surprise training exercise involves over 80,000 troops, some 1,000 tanks and armored vehicles, 130 aircraft and helicopters 70 warships and will continue until July 20. “The main goal of the drills is to check the readiness of units to carry out their missions, and to assess the quality of their training and technical preparedness,” Russia’s Defense Ministry said in a statement. On Friday, during a meeting with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu Russian, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an unexpected military drill, urging all forces to enter a state of full combat readiness on the night of July 13.”

Remember, there is a prophecy regarding a yet-unfulfilled battle of Psalm 83 involving a surprise attack on Israel by all of Israel’s abutting neighbors (which Israel wins, claiming the lands). There is also prophesied a surprise attack led by Russia along with Turkey and Israel’s further neighbors that is also yet unfulfilled (Ezekiel 38-39). Both of those are widely believed to be end of last day’s prophecies or prophecies to be fulfilled during the Tribulation. No one is quite sure of the order, as in which comes first or maybe they are nearly simultaneous, but many believe that Psalm 83 would be fulfilled first because Israel is said to be dwelling in the center of the Land in Ezekiel 37:12 and had accumulated much goods. Israel is prophesied to in the Psalm 83 battle and it is supposed that she spreads out and occupies her abutting, by then defeated neighbors. None of these neighbors make another murmur, and are not listed in the Gog-Magog coalition, so it seems that they would be set aside or nullified first. Many believe that a defeat in Psalm 83 does the trick.

Isaiah 17:1 and onward prophesies the complete destruction of Damascus, Syria and its environs. This also has never been fulfilled.

“On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.” (Zechariah 12:6)

Iranian Nukes on the Horizon – Noah Beck –http://frontpagemag.com/2013/noah-beck/iranian-nukes-on-the-horizon/

President Obama’s Middle East policy has been an ever-worsening train wreck because it lacks credibility and strategy, as Egypt, Libya, and particularly Syria, have shown. And the region is about to get much worse, unless Obama exercises resolute leadership on the most important global security issue of this generation: Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons.

In a commerce-critical region where “might makes right” and only the strong survive, Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons could have catastrophic consequences for the Middle East and beyond. The resulting dangers potentially include: (i) nuclear proliferation, as other Mideast countries feel threatened into pursuing their own nuclear programs; (ii) the transfer of nuclear materials from Iran – the world’s chief sponsor of terrorism – to terrorist organizations and/or rogue states; (iii) bolder attacks by Iranian terror proxies (Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, etc.) protected by Iran’s nuclear umbrella; and (iv) an even more belligerent Iran that flexes its nuclear arsenal to: export its radical Islamic ideology, acquire disputed territories and resources from neighboring countries, and/or undertake actions like blocking the Strait of Hormuz to increase the price of oil.

As Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, recently told CBS News’s Face the Nation, the Islamic Republic is now dangerously close to a nuclear capability. Because Iran has stockpiled about 190 pounds of 20% enriched uranium, Iran is just 60 kilograms – potentially just weeks – short of crossing the nuclear “red line” that Netanyahu set in his speech before the UN last September.

Unfortunately, Obama has signaled no urgency over Iranian nukes. Perhaps he hopes for a negotiated settlement to the issue, now that Hassan Rouhani, a so-called “moderate,” was elected to assume Iran’s presidency next month. But hope is not a strategy with the Iranian regime. Rouhani has been linked to the 1994 terrorist bombing of an Argentine Jewish community center that killed 85 people, and has boasted about how he manipulated nuclear talks with the West about a decade ago to expand Iran’s nuclear program. More importantly, Iran’s foreign policy is set by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has banned concessions to the West. Indeed, Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani, the head of Iran’s atomic energy agency, made it clear last Friday that Rouhani’s election will have no impact on Iran’s nuclear enrichment activities.

Obama must also recognize that the sanctions against Iran have demonstrably failed. The Islamic Republic has skillfully outmaneuvered them, as shown in a leaked U.N. report detailing 11 instances of Iran violating sanctions, including attempts to acquire materials for its atomic program. Reuters published an expose outlining how Iran exploits sanctions loopholes to import ore from Germany and France that could be used for making armor and missiles. More importantly, the Iranian nuclear weapons program has never once stopped because of sanctions. The only time that Iran ever suspended its nuclear program was after the U.S. invasion of Iraq, when Iran briefly feared that a U.S. attack was imminent.

Obama’s Iran policy has thus far failed to produce any credible deterrent. It’s time for Obama to build on the lead of Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird, who warned last month that Iran only has only a few months to demonstrate to the West that it is serious about a negotiated solution to the standoff.

Israel doesn’t have the luxury of treating its red lines the way Obama has treated the one he set for Syria’s use of chemical weapons; that means that the volatile Middle East of today could become far more engulfed in war and instability. Netanyahu’s latest message may be the canary in the coalmine giving its final warning, so Obama should provide bold leadership on this critical issue before it’s too late. New Jersey-sized Israel survives only by the strength of the military force that it projects. Critical to that deterrent is making good on its threats, as Israel did with its destruction of the Iraqi and Syrian nuclear programs, in 1981 and 2007, respectively, and its ongoing surgical airstrikes to prevent Syria from transferring game-changing weapons to Hezbollah.

Given such exploits, isolationists might wonder why the U.S. should bother; let Israel bear all of the costs and risks of eliminating the Iranian nuclear threat for us, goes the thinking. But the nuclear program in Iran is far more dispersed, hardened, and distant than what Israel neutralized in Iraq and Syria. Iranian nukes are truly vulnerable only to U.S. military capabilities. Expecting Israel to do the job is like a heavyweight-boxing champion asking his featherweight friend to defend him against the approaching middleweight champion. Such cowardly tactics needlessly endanger the featherweight ally, but – more importantly – there is a good chance that the middleweight won’t be fully neutralized and will feel far more emboldened to attack the heavyweight after he concludes (alongside the rest of the world) that the heavyweight is just a paper tiger.

Iran can already attack U.S. interests across the Middle East and Europe. And as early as 2015, Iran could develop and test ballistic missiles that could strike the continental U.S., according to a Pentagon report released last week (“2013 Ballistic and Cruise Missile Threat Assessment”). Obama can wait for the U.S. to be drawn into war with a nuclear-armed Iran, or he can proactively address the threat before Iran acquires nukes. But he cannot hide from the threat or hope it away. Obama must lead – before Iran’s nuclear recalcitrance forces Israel’s hand, with potentially apocalyptic consequences.

The Golden Report

Obama first made it a hate crime to speak out against homosexuals, and taught the children in public schools to accept homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle. He forced it upon the US military, and is now making it the law of the land to allow queers to be legally married.

In the short time Kerry has been the Secretary of State he has made 5 trips to Israel trying to force a Two State Solution – dividing Israel by giving the enemies of God the Land he promised to the Jews. He has made the prudence of the USA the laughing stock of the world and the Devil’s delight.

There is, deep in my spirit, a reverberating echo of that still small voice I know so well, that is saying; “They think they know better, they think they can laugh in my face with their filthy perverted life style, they believe there are no consequences for their mockery of My Word.”

Europe, for the most part, has become Godless. Living in the fear and hate of Islam with leaders who seem to be spineless in the face of this fear and hate that has overtaken them.

Now fasten your eyes on Israel and see the great hand of God move in His Glory and Power. A great war is about to begin. Not the final battle of Armageddon but the war of Zechariah 12 – followed by a great outpouring of anti-Semitism against Jews and Israel. It is mostly during this time period we will need boats and all the help we can get to save as many Jews as we possibly can, with your help. Gen. 12:3.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF, pray for this ministry and your part in it.

Move Arab Refugees back to their Respective Home of Origin

Palestine State Quiz

John R. Houk

© October 3, 2011

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is very near on taking a vote on whether the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians should acquire a sovereign nation even if doing so will steal the land of Jewish heritage from Israel which includes ONE-HALF of Jerusalem the Israeli capital city.

I realize I am in the global minority on what land belongs to whom when it comes to Judea and Samaria (known as the West Bank by those who believe Palestinian propaganda); however I am a Bible guy and definitely NOT a Quran guy. Biblically much of the land under control by Muslims was God-given land promised to Abraham, Isaac (NOT ISHMAEL) and Jacob (renamed Israel by God Almighty); the little sliver of land the Jewish State has as sovereign land is not the land deserved.

Biblical Christians agree with Jewish Zionists about the land of Israel that should be Israel’s. Now I realize as a Biblical Christian/Christian Zionist my reasoning for the “why” of a united Jerusalem and a Greater Israel may differ from Jewish Zionists; nonetheless the goal is the same.

Any Muslim claim is based on Islamic imperialism after the period of pseudo-prophet (probably really “profit” since Islamic imperialism was based on booty and slaves as much as conversion) Mohammed’s death. The Jews en masse were given the boot by Romans that grew weary of Jews desiring an independence from Roman rule roughly between 70 AD and 135AD. A few Jews were retained in the land of Israel renamed Palestina by spiteful Romans. You can see the parallel between Palestina and the modern rendition of Palestine. The Romans adopted the name Palestina as a derivative of the Jewish ancient enemy actually vanquished by the Kingdom of David and Solomon – the Philistines. The primary people left in the Holy Land were the Aramaic people after the Roman enforced Diaspora of Jews. As Rome turned to Christianity so did most of the subjects under Roman rule. This included the Aramaeans. After the wars between the Byzantine Empire (East Roman) and Parthian Empire (Persian Zoroastrians) weakened them immensely, Imperialistic Muslims stepped into the vacuum and conquered the cradle of Christianity in the circa 638 AD. The Aramaeans that attempted to retain their cultural heritage maintained their Christianity for hundreds of years. Eventually Muslim oppression took its toll on the Aramaean peoples and conversions to Islam began alongside the cultural exchange of Arab civilization and the Arabic language.

So check this out: the Philistines were not Arabic and did not speak Arabic even of any ancient rendition of the Arabic language. The Philistines were closer in relation to the Phoenicians which also established the ancient Roman enemy of Carthage.  The Hebrew tribes of Israel found themselves expelled except for a small remnant. And even in the case of a small remnant Jews came back in small doses and then larger doses after the Spanish Inquisition. Even the City of David – Jerusalem – began to grow in a Jewish population reaching the majority in the mid-1800s.

When an Arab or an Arab calling them self a Palestinian stands up and tells you the people designated as Palestinians are an ancient people they are lying or are deluded or both. The closest thing to ancient for the Arab refugees was 1948 when 6 to 9 (I never get the number right) invading Arab Armies lost to little Israel thus losing their honor in allowing a non-Muslim nation to exist in their midst. The appellation of Palestinian to these Arab refugees did not occur until after Arab Armies again failed to destroy Israel in 1967. The year 1967 is the date that Israel regained control of all of Jerusalem (Where the Jewish Quarter existed prior to 1948 incidentally) and all of Judea and Samaria (renamed West Bank via conquest by then Transjordan in 1948).

After the 1948 Arab-Israeli war Transjordan became Jordan because its monarch decided that the land east of the Jordan River was the East Bank and the land occupied by Jordan’s Arab Legion would be the West Bank. So where is the Justice in forcing Israel to accept creating a nation by international fiat made up of the descendants of Arab refugees created by Jew-hating Arabs and Muslims trying to destroy the Jewish State of Israel?

Gordon James Klingenschmitt, who was booted out of the Navy Chaplain Corps for praying in the name of Jesus, has initiated a petition to Congress to stay true to:

HR 297

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the Secretary of State should withhold United States contributions to the regularly assessed biennial budget of the United Nations for purposes of the General Assembly of the United Nations if the General Assembly adopts a resolution in favor of recognizing a state of Palestine outside of or prior to a final status agreement negotiated between, and acceptable to, the State of Israel and the Palestinians.

HR 271

Expressing support for the State of Israel’s right to defend Israeli sovereignty, to protect the lives and safety of the Israeli people, and to use all means necessary to confront and eliminate nuclear threats posed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the use of military force if no other peaceful solution can be found within reasonable time to protect against such an immediate and existential threat to the State of Israel.

The Palestinian Move

George Friedman writing at STRATFOR weaves an awesome essay that places a spot light on the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians’ strategy that has evolved to the present day of establishing a sovereign Palestinian State.

Friedman touches on many issues such as the original plan of Arab nations for Israel between the years 1949 – 1967. After 1967 the Arab strategy changes thus the formation of an umbrella organization of the disparate Arab terrorist organizations loosely unified and called the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PLO slowly evolves from a tool of Arab nations to an organization of self-interest of destroying Israel to form a nation. Prior to 1967 the Arab nation goal was to destroy Israel and split the land between the victors which would have been interesting since each Arab nation had their own agenda for dividing the Land of Israel between themselves.

Friedman discusses four strategic stages of Arab-Palestinian motivation writing about the geopolitical outlooks of Palestinians, Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Syria. There is a somewhat of a discussion of Hezbollah but leaves that situation with the Hezbollah terrorists having a greater interest in Lebanese politics than the destruction of Israel (at least privately anyway).

It is a good read.

Taking the Legal Route

Last year’s terrorist flotilla from Turkey bound for Gaza was a terrorist set-up with nothing to do with sending aid to Gazans. For one thing Gazans receives plenty of aid of half undoubtedly goes to Hamas to build up their terrorist network. For another thing last year’s terrorist flotilla aboard the Mavi Marmara was loaded with weapons prepared for hand to hand combat. This was initiated by the so-called Turkish citizens that were a part of the flotilla to dare IDF forces to board in order to check for terrorist supplies. Indeed, it was the Islamic terrorists aboard the Mavi Marmara that initiated an attack that the IDF responded with deadly force to protect themselves.

This year another terrorist flotilla is being organized from Turkey to challenge Israel’s blockade to hold down the amount of weapons streaming into Gaza mostly via clandestine support of Iran.

Ari Bussel calls for Israel to get a head of the Islamic terrorist propaganda with their own counter-media campaign including setting the stage with legal suits and so on. Bussel publicizes the work of an Israeli legal firm that is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that is taking action on their own dime. Bussel wonders why Israel is not actively doing the same thing.

Opportunity Missed, Opportunity Made

Mahmoud Abbas & Ismail Haniyeh

The Leslie J. Sacks organization sent an article by Mark Y. Rosenberg that is critical of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas hook-up because Hamas is overtly for the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews.

Where I disagree with Rosenberg is his assertion that Israel should abandon the “West Bank” to allow a Palestinian State to come into existence because that is the only way for peace between Israel and the Arab world. Also Rosenberg believes that Israeli control of “occupied” West Bank is not a sustainable situation for Israel. Rosenberg does not enter the debate of borders such as Israel drawing to 1967 borders including the eastern half of Jerusalem. I would have been interested on his take on the borders and if the Jewish heritage of Jerusalem should be turned over to Jew-hating Muslims.

Finally noticed I placed quotes over “West Bank” and “occupied”. The reason for this is that I am a Christian Zionist. The so-called West Bank is part of the Land of Israel known as Judea and Samaria. Israel did not occupy it their land, they retrieved from Jordanian occupation. Since Israel retook Judea and Samaria they did not occupy it, rather Israel liberated from hostile Muslims that defaced and committed acts of sacrilege against Jewish holy places, relics and ancient possessions such as Synagogues and cemeteries.

Other than that Rosenberg’s article is good.

Here is a Two-State Solution I can Run With

John R. Houk

© May 24, 2011

In these days of President Barack Hussein Obama throwing Israel under the Arab-Muslim Jew-hating bus by demanding a Palestinian State that strips Israeli borders back to 1967 there was a lot of talk that a solution to Arab (i.e. Palestinian)/Israel conflict was a “Jordan is Palestine” solution.

This idea did not set well with Jew-hating Muslim nations surrounding Israel because they created a refugee problem by not taking responsibility for the displaced Arabs they created by attempting to destroy the new Jewish State in 1948.

The Kingdom of Jordan I believe always had a sympathetic agenda to normalize relations with Israel after the first 1948 war but pressure from surrounding Muslim nations whether actually involved in sending invasion troops or not to Israel had pressured King Abdullah I and later King Hussein into towing the hate-Jew/Israel line. That pressure always centered on the potential of the Hashemite House might lose a place to rule after being so influential even under Turkish rule. It was the Hashemite House (Modern Hashemite evolution) that cared for Meccan and Medina until the House of Saud rose up and gave the Hashemites the boot from the Muslim holy places.

At the end of WWI the British did not want a unified Arab world (and neither did competitor France) and so tribal fiefdoms were carved up into arbitrary Mandates, Protectorates and independent Muslim nations. Two Hashemite brothers were thus offered two carved out nations in Iraq and Transjordan. Most of the chunk of Transjordan was created from the original League of Nations British Mandate of Palestine which came into existence after the Turks were given the boot back to Turkey. Frankly I am uncertain how Iraq’s tribal areas were divided into the Iraq nation except that the Kurds were in the north; the Shias were in the east and the lesser population of Sunni Arabs to the west.

The Hashemite brother became King of Syria and was deposed by the French. The British then made Faisal the King of Iraq and was quite successful even the Muslims of that British carved out nation had little information of their new. King Faisal I desired to make Iraq a hegemonic power among Arabs with dreams of a Pan-Arab union government with himself as the king of the Arabs. Who knows what would have happened in this area because beginning to gain favor with his subjects in Iraq and he definitely had a following in French controlled Syria whence he had been deposed. King Faisal I died in July 1933 ending that Pan-Arab dream.

Faisal’s I son then became King Ghazi of Iraq and reigned from 1933 – 1939. Ghazi had the same Pan-Arab visions of his father; however he became enamored with Hitler’s Nazi Germany. It is possible Ghazi’s Nazi sympathies led him to support a coup of the Iraq military to end Iraq’s civilian government. A mysterious car accident took his life in 1939 which many felt was an assassination.

Ghazi’s son Faisal became King Faisal II; however he was just a kid. Faisal’s II uncle was the regent to the Iraq throne until the age of majority in 1953. While Faisal II was a minor, the Nazi sympathizers among the Iraq military embarked on another coup in Iraq that resulted in the uncle’s regency being dethroned – momentarily. Transjordan’s British trained Arab Legion and the British Royal Air Force beat down the Nazi sympathizing Iraqis reinstalled the regency and the throne of Faisal II. Faisal II came to the age of majority assuming the reigns of monarchy in 1953.  Faisal II found himself deposed in relatively short fashion via the old Third World transference of government through a coup. The July 14, 1958 coup was actually a massacre resulting in a firing squad of the Hashemite Iraq Royal family thus ending another Hashemite sphere of influence.

So, you can imagine the pressure King Abdullah I and later his son King Hussein placed on retaining a traditional Hashemite House. No Hashemites in the … READ THE REST at SlantRight.com

Hagee: God Will Unleash Terrorists on U.S. for Israel Policy

Those who bless Israel are blessed. Those who curse Israel are cursed. President Obama is taking America down a path that is hostile to Israel by supporting the creation of a sovereign Palestinian State on land Promised by God Almighty to Jews as a heritage.
