Obama ROE Doomed Extortion 17

“Rules of Engagement” (ROE) is the military description of what kind of lethal force (if any) is allowed to fight armed enemies of America. The U.S. military personnel began to complain of the Bush Administration ROE a bit. However, under President Obama’s watch the ROE was so restrictive it cost the lives of U.S. military personnel.

Obama was more concerned about protecting Muslim civilians that probably supported al Qaeda and Taliban terrorists more than protecting Americans. The same was true in Iraq but the enemy had many names with the same goal. Kill Americans that freed them from the brutality that was Saddam Hussein. The Iraq enemy were primarily Sunni terrorists with a purist Islamic theopolitical ideal exampled by their pseudo-prophet Muhammad.

It is coming out from a retired “Air Force officer” has become a whistleblower about how 38 Americans including 17 elite Navy SEALS were shot down and died in 2011 primarily due Obama’s ROE.

Beyond travesty. These outstanding warriors were victims of treachery! Period!

Many believed from the beginning that they were set up. The truth always comes to light eventually. The previous administration must pay for its out right treasonous sacrifice of our servicemen for whatever nefarious agenda they had in mind.

On August 6, 2011, 30 US service members were killed when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter they were being transported in crashed in Wardak province, Afghanistan. It was the deadliest single loss for U.S. forces in the decade-long war in Afghanistan. 17 members of the elite Navy SEALs were killed in the crash.

Circa News had an exclusive interview with retired Air Force officer, Joni Marquez who has recently come forward to give her eyewitness account of one of the most deadly attacks on Navy SEALs in history.

What really happened that night in Afghanistan where 17 Navy SEALs and 14 other U.S. Military personnel including a Military working dog were killed in a Chinook helicopter? The incredibly brave, Joni Marquez gives us a lot more insight to that tragic night.

Via Circa News:

A decorated retired Air Force officer who witnessed one of the most deadly attacks on Navy SEALs in U.S. history is breaking her silence, saying the government covered up evidence detailing that the 2011 downing of a Chinook helicopter gunship that killed 38 fighters in Afghanistan could have been prevented had it not been for restrictions to the military’s rules of engagement that were changed under the Obama administration.

Circa News describes the Mission:

August 6, 2011: Retired Air Force Capt. Joni Marquez and her crew were working the dark morning hours aboard an AC-130 gunship after being summoned to a mission she describes “as almost like a 9-1-1 type of a situation.”

The gunship was ordered to fly close-in air support above Afghanistan’s dangerous Tangi Valley, in Wardak Province, assisting troops with the Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment who were being fired on by eight heavily armed Taliban insurgents.

The Rangers had called in for assault helicopters to engage the enemy hiding among the rocky valley. The air weapons team fired on the Taliban fighters, but not all of the insurgents were killed as originally believed.

Marquez begged for permission to engage several times, yet was denied

“We had seen two of them (insurgents) moving, crawling away from the area, as to not really make a whole lot of scene,” she recalled.

Monitoring the scene from above, she relayed the scene to the ground force commander. “You have two enemy forces that are still alive,” she said. “Permission to engage.”

They were denied.

Marquez told Circa the ground commander’s decision to not allow her crew to engage the two enemy fighters sealed the fate of those involved in Extortion 17.

Watch the full interview with Sara Carter of Circa News and Joni Marquez here.

The rules of engagement set by the Obama administration were specifically designed to protect Muslims and put our brave men and women serving our country in danger.

A retired Special Operation Combat Vet told TGP reporter Cristina Laila that this crash was the greatest single loss of life ever suffered by the Special Operations community in the 24 year history of the U.S. Special Operations Command. He also said, “it is tactically unsound to put that many Special Operators in one bird (helicopter)”.

Why was this Chinook helicopter hovering for 13 minutes making our men sitting ducks?

The Problem with Cockroaches

ISIS Cockroaches

Here is a tongue-in-cheek essay by Norma Zager. Norma uses cockroaches as a metaphor for ISIS and other global evils such as North Korea. What does one do when infested with cockroaches? One figures out how to get rid of them. When getting rid of cockroaches, how do you think the U.S. government’s Rules of Engagement (ROE) are in getting rid of Islamic terrorism and other global evils. If you get the point – ENJOY. If don’t understand the subject matter, you may be a part of it.

The Problem with Cockroaches

By Norma Zager

Sent 8/17/2016 10:01 PM

“Violence is never the answer but sometimes, like with cockroaches, it is the only possible response.”  Tanya Huff

Watching the world decide what to do about Isis is both a comical and frustrating effort. One is forced to wonder the common sense level of these so called world leaders that discuss ad nauseam the problem of these cockroaches and what can and should be done to alleviate the world of this deadly infestation. I don’t think Walmart sells roach hotels the size of Syria.

Simply another infestation of cockroaches scurrying through the world and spreading their disease until someone roach bombs them out of existence.

I have to wonder if Hitler and his fun group of merry men were alive today, how the world would react. My guess is we’d all be speaking German, except of course for the few Jewish people left on earth who actually wouldn’t be speaking at since they’d no longer exist.

The world leaders of today make Neville Chamberlain look like Joseph Stalin. And we thought Chamberlain was a wuss!

Evil men are free to speak, do and plan their malice without any repercussions, in fact the more evil you espouse, the more the world seems to cater to your demands. What a great time to be alive, for the wicked that is.

North Korea’s little wannabe Cruella De Vil sends off missiles in preparation for the day he will achieve accuracy and hit Rodeo Drive.

And what is the penalty for this little cockroach? Someone calls China and asks,” Can’t you do something about your naughty child, he’s causing trouble again?”

China of course responds they will do what they can, but you know that boys will be boys. Then they go about their business of feeding and clothing this monster and allowing him to grow and continue plotting his malevolence.

Has the world never heard of a roach bomb? Or a roach motel where you could invite the little creep inside using Dennis Rodman as bait and as the ad says, roaches go in but they don’t come out! Problem solved.

Of course the list is endless and the fact the US pays and enables Mullahs in Iran who regularly espouse destroying Israel, and shouting “Death to America! Death to Israel!” makes one wonder who the madmen really are here.

But oh well, boys will be boys, right Adolph?

So what is being done to stop the flow of evil?

We hear that Isis is being bombed, and yet Isis bombs seem to be spreading to Paris, Nice, Orlando, Riverside, Istanbul, Belgium, Germany and all points west.

Hey, is someone putting roach killer in those bombs or is Isis getting hit with politically correct bug spray that stuns but doesn’t kill.

So as I sit picturing the geniuses that are planning Isis’s demise, I can only imagine how those meetings go.

I should think if one sees a cockroach there are only two responses. A giant shoe and an understanding he is not an orphan and there are thousands more hiding where he came from.

As ridiculous as I find this scenario, can you imagine the cockroach’s response to this craziness?

Cockroach Charlie runs out from under the kitchen counter, looks up and sees a human. He stops, looks and waits to be squashed, but nothing.

The human makes a call to the other people in the house.

“We need a meeting.  There’s a cockroach in the kitchen.”

They gather to discuss their options.

“I think we have a cockroach.”

Horror facial responses exhibited.

“What should we do?

“I don’t know, shouldn’t we call the neighbors and check to see if they have cockroaches too?”

They concur.

“But which neighbors should we call?  I mean we want the ones with the biggest feet after all.”

They concur.

“Yes, but last time we had a problem when only the big-footed neighbors were called, and it is only fair we all take turns.”

“I know, but if we call neighbors with small feet they may miss and not hit the cockroaches.”

“Or there are some that may claim the cockroaches are their friends.”

“You’re right.  We have had cockroach-friendly neighbors before, and we just got more of them in the end.

“I know, and some of the neighbors want to be politically correct about the roaches. They claim that cockroaches under 18 shouldn’t be bombed. They need jobs, not bug spray.”

“You’re right, but how do we kill them without hurting the little roaches?”

“Good question.  Maybe we should call a meeting of everyone and set some ground rules. Then publish them and leave ample time for comments. I mean, we don’t want to look bad to other condo buildings in the neighborhood who might claim we were using excessive force.”

“Plus, some of the neighbors aren’t talking and we can’t put them in a room together, so we’ll need separate meetings for them.”

“Good idea.  Let’s plan a schedule of meetings to discuss the limits and guidelines for killing roaches. I mean, who will pay for the spray? Should we tent the place and do it all at once? Should we just yell under the sink and give them a warning and a certain time period to get out? Maybe there are some who could be turned into humans?”

“And don’t forget shoe size. How big a shoe should we use? Are there rules about that? What kind of shoe, Dutch wooden one, pump, maybe a sling back? Or should it be a boot or a sandal? And should those boots actually be allowed to touch the ground? I think we should vote on that one. You know Marcia in 3B gets hysterical about boots on the ground.”

“Perhaps James Taylor is free to come and sing them a few peace songs?”

“How about calling in a mediator to handle the discussions, maybe make a deal?  I hear cockroaches can be tough negotiators. Trump will probably be free now to act as a “neutral” intermediary.”

Meanwhile back in the kitchen the cockroaches are partying. They broke out the booze and are singing, dancing and attacking the pantry with a ferocity only a celebratory roach can muster.

Six months later the meetings are still being planned and discussions held. The roaches are laughing while parading in a conga line singing La Cucaracha throughout the entire city.

History has proven when we dismiss evil and stand by and watch, bad stuff happens.

God gave man a memory so he wouldn’t repeat his mistakes and yet, shockingly, that’s exactly what he does.

Almost 60 million people died during World War II.

Do the wusses in charge today truly believe if you ignore evil it just fades away, like a rash from eating strawberries?

Or a cockroach can one day turn into a butterfly?

Wake up and smell the hummus gentlemen, before the cockroaches inherit the earth.

Oh, I forgot, they will.

I must apologize to any cockroaches that were offended by a comparison to Isis, the Mullahs or Kim Jong-un.

Obama Administration Disrespects War Hero

I am a member of a restricted Yahoo Group that goes by ccpga which I have not actually visited for some time. So I don’t exactly recall how the acronym was decided upon but it stands for Christian Conservative Councilors. The group is restricted primarily to keep the trolls out. Now as if you were interested, I said all this about the group because a member sent info on Army Green Beret Major Matt Golsteyn. When the Major was a Captain he engaged in acts of heroism that resulted in the Silver Star which was expected to be upgraded to the Distinguished Service Cross which is only surpassed in honor by the Medal of Honor.

I’ll let the Washington Free Beacon and Allen West give the specifics of why Major Golsteyn was a hero in 2010. The rendition is truly worth the read. Apparently heroism doesn’t matter much to the Obama Administration when the hero is critical of the President and the civilian leadership pols in the Defense Department of which the Department of the Army of course has a role when it comes to that Branch.

HERO Major Golsteyn who won his Silver Star as a Captain was stripped of that medal. Why? Because Major Golsteyn was critical of the military strategy used in Afghanistan. To be more specific Golsteyn was critical of the Rules of Engagement (ROE) used in Afghanistan. AND that criticism quoted in a book by a Marine whose name is Bing West. The book’s name is “The Wrong War”.

Here is a bit of an excerpt from a book review of “The Wrong War”:

While his book focuses at the tactical level, West has the contacts and background to evaluate top-level decisions. As the title indicates, he has concluded that population-centric counterinsurgency will not work for this war. He then asks the very important question, “Since it would be disastrous to pull out and we can’t win with the current strategy, is there an alternative?”

West sets out to answer that question by describing “the fighting, the objectives, the interaction with the tribes, and the different tactics our military has undertaken.” To provide background, West takes the reader through a years-long summary of key efforts in both the north and south of Afghanistan. In doing so, he provides context over time that pointedly illustrates both the grit of our forces and the failure of the current approach. (The Wrong War written by Bing West; Review by Col Thomas X. Hammes, USMC (Ret); Marine Corps Association & Foundation)

I understand it is against the Military Code of Conduct to be critical of the civilian leadership, especially the Coward … err … I mean Commander-in-Chief. The author Bing West is an ex-Marine that has made a career at being an author. According to the review I read, West’s classic book is “The Village” in 1972. So I think it is a pretty good guess that West didn’t think his book would be used to castigate an active duty member of the Service.

Here is an excerpt from a Time Mag online article from 2010 showing the time frame that then Captain Golsteyn faced in a do or die similar situation:

… Marines see an attack taking shape around them, the current rules of engagement mandate that they cannot shoot unless they are first shot at. The insurgents know this, so they often “drop and go”: firing from a distance, then abandoning their weapons. Sometimes Marines never get a single shot off in defense, an exercise in restraint that is especially taxing for the American military’s hardiest warriors. “It’s hard as hell holding back when you know what’s coming every time,” says a lance corporal from Lima Company, Third Battalion, Sixth Marines. … (Will Petraeus Change the Rules for Shooting Back? By Jason Motlagh; Time; 7/7/10)

By 2013 the ROE only get worse:

The new U.S.-Afghanistan security agreement adds restrictions on already bureaucratic rules of engagement for American troops by making Afghan dwellings virtual safe havens for the enemy, combat veterans say.

The rules of engagement place the burden on U.S. air and ground troops to confirm with certainty that a Taliban fighter is armed before they can fire — even if they are 100 percent sure the target is the enemy. In some cases, aerial gunships have been denied permission to fire even though they reported that targets on the move were armed.

The proposed Bilateral Security Agreement announced Wednesday by Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Secretary of State John F. Kerry all but prohibits U.S. troops from entering dwellings during combat. …

“U.S. forces shall not enter Afghan homes for the purposes of military operations, except under extraordinary circumstances involving urgent risk to life and limb of U.S. nationals,” Mr. Obama pledged in a letter to the Afghan leader.

The rules of engagement today also place restrictions on dwelling assaults, but Mr. Obama’s language of “extraordinary circumstances involving urgent risk of life and limb” sets the bar much higher.

… (Rules of engagement limit the actions of U.S. troops and drones in Afghanistan; By Rowan Scarborough; Washington Times; 11/26/13)

The planned ROE for 2015:

the recent New York Times article is that the original plan was to allow U.S. military forces in Afghanistan to attack al Qaeda targets (the counterterrorism mission) but not Taliban, Haqqani, or other non-al Qaeda targets (the combat mission?).

… the article suggests that U.S. forces will continue in 2015 to have authority to attack at least Taliban targets…though not based simply on positive identification of their membership status. Rather than status-based targeting, in other words, the contemplated rules of engagement will be threat-based. An unnamed senior official explains in the article:

“We will no longer target belligerents solely because they are members of the Taliban,” the official said. “To the extent that Taliban members directly threaten the United States and coalition forces in Afghanistan or provide direct support to Al Qaeda, however, we will take appropriate measures to keep Americans safe.”

This leaves the question whether status-based targeting will be an option for al Qaeda targets in Afghanistan. I’ve not seen it publicly stated that the military’s ROE in Afghanistan currently provides for status-based targeting, though I’m guessing that it does. Nothing in the article suggests that this would change in 2015, and indeed the emphasis on changing from status-based to some notion of threat-based targeting for Taliban fighters in 2015 implies that the rules will be otherwise (i.e., will remain status based) for al Qaeda.

AND SO Major Matt Golsteyn save lives but didn’t check to see if the Taliban was shooting at his Green Beret unit and some Marine engineers that were tasked to clear Taliban land mines. In 2011, the Free Beacon reports, that Major Golsteyn experienced the beginning of a military criminal investigation accused of “… an undisclosed violation of the military’s rules of engagement in combat for killing a known enemy fighter and bomb maker.

The accusation was baseless and unofficially based on Golsteyn’s criticism of the ROE that was quoted in the West book. So they stripped him of the well-deserved Silver Star.

In the process of researching this outrage I just found out more crap is proceeding from the influence of the Obama Administration:

Separations proceedings were initiated against Army Major Matt Golsteyn on the same day that Congressman Duncan Hunter (R., Calif.) published an article in the Daily Beast highlighting Golsteyn’s case, according to a letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The letter, signed by Hunter and addressed to Secretary of the Army John McHugh, states the investigation into allegations of wrongdoing by Golsteyn began on November 29, 2011, and concluded on November 24, 2013, with no charges being pressed.

Hunter’s original article appeared on the the (sic) Daily Beast‘s website on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. The Army initiated proceedings to eject Golsteyn from the military the same day, the letter states.

The letter also raises questions about whether Golsteyn was offered appropriate due process in response to the decision to revoke his Silver Star made late last year, noting that, “denial of [Golsteyn’s] appeal appears not to have been reviewed by the appropriate authorityunderscored by the fact that Matt was notified of his record change via a system generated e-mail on January 8, 2015.” Hunter goes on to ask McHugh to confirm that the appeal was reviewed by the appropriate authority and was not influenced by McHugh’s office.

The letter also suggested that there had been “questionable actions” on the part of investigators during the course of the inquiry into Golsteyn, and offers to share information regarding those actions with McHugh’s office.

Hunter’s letter concludes by noting that “from the beginning, I have urged the Army to bring a case forward against Matt should the full scope of evidence point to a crime.”

However, instead of criminal charges, Golsteyn has faced exclusively administrative actions that offer little chance for self-defense, now including the initiation of proceedings to eject him from the Army after thirteen years of service.

Here’s a copy and pasted of Duncan’s letter to the Secretary of the Army John McHugh which I extracted from a PDF file linked from the Free Beacon with a Scribd link:

February 9, 2015

Honorable John McHugh Secretary of the Army 101 Army Pentagon
Washington, DC 20310

Dear Secretary McHugh:

The Army’s case against Major Mail Golsteyn continues to lack clarity and consistency. I am especially confused by your decision to revoke Matt’s valor awards without substantive justification—when Army officials have said that all decisions related to Matt now sit with his command following the conclusion of the investigation. Several individuals within the Army have indicated that decisions regarding Matt are being influenced from outside his command. I hope this is not the case.

Matt’s situation demands objectivity, which I fear has not been provided. Most recently, separation proceedings were initiated by Major General Richard Mustion, Human Resources Command, on February 3, 2015—the same morning I introduced Matt in a Daily Beast commentary indentifying (sic) failures in leadership. Such timing is unlikely a coincidence, given that the Army’s investigation started on November 29, 2011, and concluded on November 24, 2013.

In fact, you will recall that the Commander of Criminal Investigation Command was surprised to see Matt at Will Swenson’s Medal of Honor ceremony, stating that he thought Matt was no longer serving in the Army.  He too must have been confused by his own investigation.

That same investigation is what the Army is imposing on Matt’s command. Unfortunately, the investigation fails to thoroughly account for some information—including Matt’s relationship to Swenson and the Army’s conduct with both individuals. Questionable actions by investigating agents continued throughout the investigation—and I am willing, once again, to provide that information at your request.  Bottom line: I have serious concerns that the investigation into Matt was neither fair nor objective, yet the command is being asked to make judgments, reportedly under influence from Army leadership, on that same investigation.

Moreover, when you revoked Matt’s valor awards under your authority, it was stated that Matt is entitled to an appeal, and that the appeal would not bear the Army’s mark in any manner. Though denial of the appeal appears not have been reviewed by the proper authority— underscored by the fact that Matt was notified of his record change via a system generated email on January 8, 2015.  As such, I ask for confirmation that the appeal was reviewed by the proper authority—and not influenced by your office.  I would also like to make an official request for a detailed timeline of communications between your office and HRC related to the valor awards you personally revoked. This includes any communications pertaining to Matt’s appeal.

Mr. Secretary, from the beginning, I have urged the Army to bring a case forward against Matt should the full scope of evidence point to a crime. It’s been over three years since the Army started its investigation and a high-level operator has been sidelined as a result. Still, Man has yet to be charged with a crime or convicted of any wrongdoing.  Yet the Army is going to great lengths to administratively punish him.

You are probably aware that I have made several requests to discuss the latest developments in Man’s case. I hope you will reconsider

Sincerely

Duncan Hunter
Member of Congress

As Representative Hunter wrote in his letter, Major Matt Golsteyn was NEVER charged or tried in Military Court. Hence mustering out is a top down order probably politically inspired by vindictiveness associated with public criticism shared in a book. A CHARGE NEVER BROUGHT AGAINST Major Golsteyn!

It is my opinion that Golsteyn is a victim of the Obama purge (See HERE Military Purge BHO version Mission Accomplishedand HERE) of anyone in the military that has a contrary opinion on President Barack Hussein Obama’s policy on winning or I should say – LOSING – a war that was started by Islamic terrorists who were protected by a strict Sharia ruled Taliban-Afghan government. President Bush was correct when he let Americans know we are at war with Islamic fascists. In the latter days of his Presidency massive criticism against the war in Iraq saw President Bush walk-back his thoughts on Islam.

We’ve gone from a Bush walk-back to an Obama nearly promoting Islamic fascism with lies about his connections to a Muslim past, association with Jeremiah Wright’s buddy Louis Farrakhan (See also HERE), supporting al Qaeda terrorists in Libya and then trying to send deposed Qaddafi’s armaments to other pro-al-Qaeda terrorists to Jabhat al-Nusra which probably made its way to the of ISIS (or ISIL or IS or DAESH and etc.). Then obscuring those arms deals and eventual Benghazi debacle during the 2012 election by blaming a poorly made movie trailer about Mohammed that was basically accurate but with crude acting. Then Obama supported Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood winning its election and criticized Egypt’s generals for giving the Muslim Brotherhood the boot. Not to mention all the secret meetings with Muslim Brotherhood operatives (See HERE and HERE) and the Iranian government securing a deal that allows Iranian nuke-armed missiles. O yes, did I mention the good President has been cozy with Muslim Brotherhood operative Malik Obama – the President’s brother. I am sure some of my readers could list even more BHO coziness to Islam while maligning Christianity and Christian values.

I don’t know the constitutional situation for this thought. If Major Matt Golsteyn is indeed drummed out of the Army due to criticism made public in a book that the Rules of Engagement in Afghanistan are bogus AND a recipe for defeat. Then the current Republican Congress should take steps to overrule the Secretary of the Army and just go ahead and award the Constitutional Medal of Honor to Matt Golsteyn.

Afghanistan War Hero Stripped of Silver Star
Feature: Army Major Matt Golsteyn betrayed by cowardly leaders

February 6, 2015 5:00 am

By February 20th, 2010, the Battle of Marjah had been underway for a week. In order to seize the Afghan district—an IED-infested, Taliban-dominated collection of villages and crisscrossing canals and tree lines that were a defending fighter’s dream—the U.S. military had divided its force into thirds. A task force of more than a thousand U.S. Marines, accompanied by Afghan soldiers, assaulted the northern portion of Marjah. Ditto for the central portion of the district.

And the southern third? It had been attacked by a single U.S. Army Special Forces team consisting of nine men, accompanied by a handful of Marine engineers tasked with clearing bombs from the roads and a few hundred Afghan troops that were more of a babysitting case than true partners. Such a light American footprint on at least part of the battlefield would “put an Afghan face” on the operation, as the lingo went at the time.

As the Special Forces soldiers wore Afghan Army uniforms, the Taliban concluded that there were virtually no Americans on their southern flank. The fighting there was intense.

Having secured a defensive position in the heart of the Balakino Bazaar (picture the Bakara market in the film Black Hawk Down, but more impoverished) the Special Forces team, led by a captain named Matt Golsteyn, repeatedly attempted to expand their footprint, but regularly met fierce resistance. On the 20th, one of the team’s assaults into Taliban territory took a turn for the worse. An Afghan soldier was wounded and a vehicle got stuck in the mud as insurgents raked the coalition formation with gunfire.

Under heavy fire, Golsteyn, as Dan Lamothe of the Washington Post summarized this week, “ran about 150 meters to the trapped MRAP to retrieve a powerful 84mm Carl Gustav recoilless rifle, an anti-tank weapon. While moving under gunfire, he coordinated a medical evacuation for the wounded Afghan soldier and then opened fire with the Carl Gustav.”

Running through the open despite the fact that the Taliban had successfully pinned down the rest of his men, Golsteyn looked like he “was alone fighting 30 enemy fighters out in the poppy fields.” He then coordinated airstrikes from F/A-18 Hornets and a drone, silencing the enemy. The battle lasted four hours.

For his actions, Golsteyn was awarded the Silver Star, and was told that the medal would likely be upgraded to the Distinguished Service Cross (the Army’s equivalent of the Navy Cross, and second only to the Medal of Honor) after review by the Secretary of the Army. I can confirm that this was true because I was present at the ceremony where Golsteyn received his Silver Star, and personally overheard Lieutenant General John Mulholland, then the commander of the Army’s Special Operation’s Command, say that an upgrade was under consideration.

In fact, I know Golsteyn—now a major—well. I served alongside him in Marjah for months (though not on the 20th of February—I was among the thousands of Marines fighting elsewhere in the district that day) and can attest that he is one of the most courageous, dedicated, and honorable officers I encountered during my service in the military. He would give his life for the men he led without a moment’s thought—and he very nearly did, on several occasions. When we returned from our deployments and honors began to roll in for Golsteyn, I reflected that it is nice to see the good guys get recognized.

It didn’t last long. In 2011, shortly after a book by author and Marine Bing West came out that detailed Golsteyn’s heroism and quoted him making critical remarks about the American strategy in Afghanistan, I learned that the Army had launched a criminal investigation into his actions during the battle. (Again, full disclosure: I was also interviewed for that book, The Wrong War, and make a brief appearance in it.)

The investigation, apparently, had nothing to do with the acts of bravery that earned Golsteyn his medal. Instead, according to the Washington Post, which cited officials familiar with the case, it concerned “an undisclosed violation of the military’s rules of engagement in combat for killing a known enemy fighter and bomb maker.” The investigation stretched on for nearly two years, during which time the Army effectively put Golsteyn’s career on ice. In 2014, Golsteyn and his lawyer were informed that the investigation was finally complete. No charges were filed, but Golsteyn still wasn’t released from administrative limbo.

Alerted about the controversy by another Army officer, Captain Will Swenson, Congressman Duncan Hunter wrote last year to John McHugh, the secretary of the Army, asking about the status of Golsteyn’s seemingly endless career freeze. Apparently the secretary did not take kindly to the inquiry, as he responded in a letter last November that not only would he not be upgrading Golsteyn’s Silver Star to a Distinguished Service Cross, but would be revoking Golsteyn’s Silver Star entirely, a fact that Hunter revealed publicly in an article for the Daily Beast published on Tuesday.

The revocation of an award such as the Silver Star is extraordinarily rare, and typically would happen in the case of the recipient being convicted of a serious crime that in some way dishonored his service. But not only has Golsteyn not been convicted of a crime—he hasn’t even been charged with one.

McHugh would not reveal to Hunter specifically why he was taking his action beyond submitting the innuendo that he was privy to “derogatory information” regarding Golsteyn’s record. What could this information be? Who knows? Having, according to Hunter, spent years threatening Golsteyn’s men, searching for and failing “to find one piece of evidence to corroborate the allegation” that launched the investigation, the Army clearly decided to punish Golsteyn anyway, through publicly dishonoring him in a manner that allows him effectively no recourse or due process.

Such institutional cravenness is even more extraordinary when one considers the circumstances of Golsteyn’s service. Commissioned in 2002 out of West Point, he has served combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and was already the recipient of valor awards by the time he fought in Marjah. There, he and his handful of American soldiers succeeded in securing a big chunk of one of the deadliest places on earth at the time, under constant and intense opposition from the Taliban. Working with the local tribes, Golsteyn came to be recognized as one of the most successful officers in Helmand Province. The Taliban tried to kill him and his men again and again, and found themselves driven back every time. What success there was in Marjah was in no small part due to him.

Such is the quality of American military leadership that generals and political appointees like McHugh will send courageous soldiers like Golsteyn into incredibly difficult (some would suggest impossible) circumstances, then invest years in second-guessing their actions after the fact—and then, finding no evidence of wrongdoing, still publicly dishonor the man without giving him a chance to defend himself. Never mind the fact that if a Taliban bombmaker did in fact die in a violation of the rules of engagement, then in what topsy-turvy universe is that a bad thing? The veterans who had to risk their lives because of these ROEs have almost universally criticized them. Established and enforced by men sitting safely in Kabul and Washington who never shared the daily risks of Golsteyn and his soldiers, the rules were wrong and self-serving to begin with, a politicized effort that has, without question, caused the needless deaths of many young Americans.

In any event, if the Army truly does believe that Golsteyn violated the Uniform Code of Military Justice, then they should charge him with a crime. If they can’t do that, then we must conclude that insufficient evidence of a crime exists, in which case Secretary McHugh should give him the Distinguished Service Cross he deserves.

Congressman Hunter pointed out in his article that a recent survey conducted by the Military Times revealed only 27 percent of the military felt that their leaders were looking out for the best interests of the troops. Golsteyn’s situation illustrates why this is the case, and is of a piece with the case of Will Swenson, whose Medal of Honor package was “lost” after he bitterly criticized his chain of command over the ROEs, or of Jim Gant, one of the most successful special operators of the last decade, who was nonetheless drummed out of the Army after running afoul of his superiors.

Golsteyn, Swenson, Gant, and others like them are led by men who interrupt their political intrigues and email flirtations with wealthy socialites only to crucify the troops actually doing the fighting when, for whatever reason, they become politically inconvenient—preferably, as with Golsteyn, in a manner that allows for no response or appeal.

Most Americans would take one look at Golsteyn’s record of service and call him a hero. The men who will not share Golsteyn’s risks, but who will hurl innuendoes at him after the fact and publicly dishonor him in a manner that allows him to mount no case on his own behalf? There’s a word for them too: cowards.

Army revokes Green Beret’s Silver Star for killing known enemy and bomb-maker

February 7, 2015

Just when I think the news cannot possibly get any worse and it’s gonna be hard for me to find something to talk about – we hit a new low. The U.S. Army is hiding a deserter — Bowe Bergdahl. We have Army Lieutenant Clint Lorance in prison for killing the enemy. And my Army finds a way to go even lower.

As reported by the Washington Post, “CPT. Mathew L. Golsteyn was leading a Special Forces team in Afghanistan in 2010 when an 80-man mission he assembled to hunt insurgent snipers went awry. One of the unit’s five vehicles sank in mud, a gunshot incapacitated an Afghan soldier fighting alongside the Americans, and insurgents maneuvered on them to rake the soggy fields with machine-gun fire.”

“Golsteyn, already a decorated Green Beret officer, responded with calm resolve and braved enemy fire repeatedly that day, according to an Army summary of his actions. He received the Silver Star for valor for his actions during a 2011 ceremony at Fort Bragg, N.C. Top Army officials later approved him for an upgrade to the prestigious Distinguished Service Cross, second only to the Medal of Honor in recognizing combat heroism by U.S. soldiers.”

But here’s the kicker.

The Post says the officer, a former member of the 3rd Special Forces Group and graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., was later investigated for an undisclosed violation of the military’s rules of engagement in combat for killing a known enemy fighter and bomb maker, according to officials familiar with the case.”

The investigation closed last year without Golsteyn’s being charged with a crime, but Army Secretary John M. McHugh decided not only to deny Golsteyn the Distinguished Service Cross, but also to revoke his Silver Star. McHugh cited a provision in Army regulations that if facts become known that would have prevented the awarding of a medal, the award can be revoked.”

Ok, here we go again. How does one “violate the rules of engagement in combat by killing a known enemy fighter and bomb maker?” What does Secretary of the Army McHugh recommend — sharing MRE recipes?

Now, unless Major Golsteyn killed this enemy fighter by dismembering his body while alive, I truly don’t give a doggone. Remember the Combat Restraint Medal that was once considered? Well, thankfully it was defeated by those combat veterans who made their voices heard. But what kind of Army do we have now when we revoke medals for heroic actions because the same fella killed an enemy fighter! Doggone Secretary McHugh, that is what happens in COMBAT! And this is what happens when we’ve turned these positions into nothing but political appointments.

I’m beginning to believe we should just eliminate the Military Service Secretariats — Army, Navy, Air Force. We should just keep the Secretary of Defense organization. Think about the cost savings in the defense budget.

But back to the story at hand, “The decision is still shrouded in mystery because of the secretive nature of the Army’s investigation into Golsteyn, who did extensive work with U.S. Marines in and around Marja in Helmand province. A spokesman for McHugh’s office, Lt. Col. Chris Kasker, declined to comment Wednesday, citing the administrative nature of the decision. But he released details of Golsteyn’s service record that show he no longer has a Silver Star and is not in Special Forces anymore. The major earned a Bronze Star and Army Commendation medal with “V” devices for heroism in earlier actions, Kasker said.”

“Golsteyn joined the Army in 2002. “The Army has been unable to present substantive evidence while an overwhelming number of first-person accounts provided to Army investigators uphold Matt’s record as a top-level operator,” said Hunter’s letter, which the congressman’s office released to The Post.”

I am still looking for something specific as to what Major Golsteyn did to violate ROE in killing the enemy. How is it that a decision can be made to revoke awards for the action for which he earned them? If there was an issue with Golsteyn, you don’t revoke something he’s earned, you suspend any positive actions for the Soldier. And it seems that there is nothing substantiated from the Army’s investigation, so why didn’t they reinstate his awards — and upgrade?

This is the Army — the America — in which we are now living.

But I wonder if Golsteyn’s critique of the Afghanistan mission in the past has anything to do with this kerfluffle. The Post says, “In the 2011 Bing West book “The Wrong War: Grit, Strategy and the Way Out of Afghanistan,” he is quoted as saying that the Americans were considered insurgents in Afghanistan who were “selling a poor product called the Kabul government.” West later wrote in a review of a book about another Special Forces soldier, Maj. Jim Gant, that the careers of Gant, Golsteyn and a third Green Beret, Dan McKone, were “terminated,” assessing that the Army failed them.”

A deserter named Bowe Bergdahl may walk with $300,000 in back pay. A Special Forces Green Beret officer who faced the enemy and killed them gets his awards for heroism revoked. So let me end this asking a simple question.

Secretary McHugh, whose side are you on?

And by the way, if you’d like a dose of heroism, here is the full account of what then CPT Golsteyn did:

Golsteyn’s Silver Star came for actions on Feb. 20, 2010. He assembled his unit after his base had come under sniper fire from an insurgent wielding a Dragunov rifle, according to an Army narrative of his actions. He directed his troops to launch an assault across 700 meters of open fields, but an armored truck known as a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle sank into mud under gunfire after about 175 meters. Under heavy machine-gun and sniper fire, Golsteyn ran about 150 meters to the trapped MRAP to retrieve a powerful 84mm Carl Gustav recoilless rifle, an anti-tank weapon. While moving under gunfire, he coordinated a medical evacuation for the wounded Afghan soldier and then opened fire with the Carl Gustav, said the Army narrative, which was obtained by The Post. Captain Golsteyn was alone running in the open through enemy gun fire that had over 80 men pinned down, and from the crow’s nest on top of [Forward Operating Base] McQueary, it looked like Captain Golsteyn was alone fighting 30 enemy fighters out in the poppy fields,” the award narrative said. Enemy reinforcements continued to arrive on the battlefield, so Golsteyn organized airstrikes by both F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets and a Predator drone. No American or coalition troops were killed in the battle despite a barrage of enemy fire that lasted four hours, the narrative said.”

Stop Modern Pancho Villa Terrorism on U.S. Border

Pancho Villa Wanted Poster

Here’s your mini-history question: Did you learn about Pancho Villa in Middle School or High School? If you went to a public school after 1995 or so you probably don’t have a clue.

Doroteo Arango, alias Francisco “Pancho” Villa, was born in 1877 (1879 according to some sources) in San Juan del Rio, State of Durango, Mexico. During his lifetime, he was a ruthless killer (killing his first man at age sixteen), a notorious bandit (including cattle rustling and bank robbery), a revolutionary (a general commanding a division in the resistance against the 1913-14 Victoriano Huerta dictatorship), and despite his bloodthirsty nature, an enduring hero to the poor people of Mexico. In their minds, Villa was afraid of no one, not the Mexican government or the gringos from the United States. He was their one true friend and avenger for decades of Yankee oppression.

In late 1915 Pancho Villa had counted on American support to obtain the presidency of Mexico. Instead the U.S. Government recognized the new government of Venustiano Carranza. An irate Villa swore revenge against the United States. And began by murdering Americans in hopes of provoking President Woodrow Wilson’s intervention into Mexico. Villa believed that American intervention would discredit the Carranza government with the people of Mexico and reaffirm his own popularity.

While the presence of American troops served to deter Villa on the north of the Rio Grande, the murder of U.S. citizens in Mexico continued. One of the most heinous atrocities occurred January 11, 1916, when Villa’s bandits stopped a train at Santa Ysabel. The bandits removed a group of 17 Texas business men (mining engineers) invited by the Mexican government to reopen the Cusihuiriachic mines below Chihuahua City and executed them in cold blood. However, one of those shot feigned death and rolled down the side of the embankment and, crawling away into a patch of brown mesquite bushes, escaped. The train moved on, leaving the corpses at the mercy of the slayers, who stripped and mutilated them. After the escapee arrived back at Chihuahua City, a special train sped to Santa Ysabel to reclaim the bodies. When the people of El Paso heard of the massacre, they went wild with anger. El Paso was immediately placed under martial law to prevent irate Texans from crossing into Mexico at Juarez to wreak vengeance on innocent Mexicans.

Despite outrage in the United States and Washington over the Santa Ysabel massacre, President Wilson refused to intervene and send troops into Mexico. Two months later, Villa decided to strike again. This time he would invade the United States. At 2:30 a.m., on the morning of March 9, 1916, he and 500 “Villistas” attacked the 13th U.S. Cavalry at Camp Furlong near Columbus, New Mexico.  Despite prior knowledge that Villa and his men were pillaging, raping, and murdering their way toward the border, the cavalry was caught completely by surprise. One reason for the cavalry’s sluggishness was because some of the troops had been drinking, but perhaps more importantly, all of the troops’ rifles were chained and locked in gun racks. Still, the cavalry managed to get organized and fought off the “Villistas” killing many of them in the process.

During their retreat, however, the “Villistas” stopped at Columbus, New Mexico for a looting and window-shooting spree that left several U.S. civilians dead. For three hours, bullets struck houses and shouts of “Viva Villa! Viva Mexico! Muerte a los Americanos!” (death to americans) were heard in the streets. The town was set afire, though Villa’s men realized nothing beyond a few dollars and perhaps some merchandise from the burntout stores. The terror continued until about 7 a.m., and when Villa finally rode off, the smoke-filled streets of Columbus were littered with the dead and wounded. Fourteen American soldiers and ten civilians were killed in the raid.

The populace of Columbus was in a state of hysteria. The American cavalry troops collected the bodies of the “Villistas” that had been shot in the streets and on the outskirts of town and piled them on funeral pyres and cremated them. For a day or more the fires smoldered and the odor of burning flesh permeated the air. Columbus lay virtually demolished, so completely burned and pillaged that it never recovered its former vitality.

To prevent repetitions of the Columbus outrage, President Wilson called out 15,000 militia and stationed them along the U.S. – Mexico border. Wilson also informed President Carranza that he intended to send a military expedition into northern Mexico to capture Pancho Villa, and Carranza reluctantly agreed. President Wilson then appointed Brigadier General John J. Pershing to lead 4,800 troops (mostly cavalry), supported by aircraft and motorized military vehicles (the first time either were used in U.S. warfare) on a punitive expedition into Mexico to capture Villa.

I found the rest of this Joe Griffith on a pdf page. You will learn that U.S. Army under General Pershing never caught Pancho Villa. However the chase was fairly successful to prevent Pancho Villa from committing heinous acts of terrorist depravity against Americans. In 1923 a group of assassins delivered a fusillade of bullets into his 1919 Dodge roadster:

But, a few years later, on Friday, July 20, 1923, Villa’s luck ran out. Accompanied by his entourage of Dorades (“Golden Ones”), which was what he called his bodyguards, Pancho Villa frequently made trips to Parral (Map 2) for banking and other errands. This day, Villa had picked up a consignment of gold with which to pay his Canutillo ranch staff and was driving through the city in his black 1919 Dodge roadster when a group of seven riflemen fired 150 shots in just two minutes into his car. In the fusillade of shots, 16 bullets lodged in his body and four more in his head. Villa was reported to have killed one of the assassins before he died. Truly, Pancho Villa had lived by the gun and died by the gun. Pancho Villa’s enraged Americans in the early 1900s. What is going on NOW on American/Mexican border makes Pancho Villa look like a juvenile delinquent.

I ran into a disturbing SIOA Facebook Group post about the graphic unwieldiness on both sides of American/Mexican border. This post reads like there is a huge amount of lawlessness in place. You would expect this on the Mexican side; however the report explicitly tells us of the corruption occurring on the American side of the border. County Sheriff departments are bribed and the above board Sheriff Departments have an inadequate staff to deal with the billion dollar drug cartel business reach. Federal agencies which the author calls alphabet Federal agencies look the other way largely due to the Marxist-in-Chief of the United States of America. The author also explains that the American Border are the most effective deterrent against drug cartel power, BUT AGAIN the Obama Administration has reduced the Border Patrol to impotent observers unable to effectively engage drug cartel criminals.

Below is my initial comment to this expose which I include here because you might be unable to access the SIOA page because it is a Facebook closed group:

This is a great exposé! I wish it was sourced a bit better so it doesn’t read like a chain email. I understand the reluctance to be more specific with sourcing because the report implies the long arm of drug cartel threats to extend to family. But as you ask, I am going to share this report which will eventually be posted on my blogs primary of which is SlantRight 2.0 (http://slantedright2.blogspot.com/).

The essay is a fount of information minus the names of the authoritative sources. There is a huge indication that Militia Movement groups are armed and getting weary of the Federal government not upholding Constitutional protections for U.S. citizens. Unless Congress does something to force Obama to follow the law pertaining to the U.S. side of the border you can expect some vigilantism to become a problem. Vigilantes engaging themselves to protect border farmers and ranchers and catch illegal aliens will undoubtedly lead to erroneous decisions in which innocent people die. Unless Obama’s Administration acts I will not condemn vigilante action intended to make up for what the constitutionally empowered agencies are failing to do because of the Obama Administration.

One step Congress can take is to impeach Obama. Obama’s border failure can be included as one of the many infractions committed by his Administration.

The author uses many acronyms that I will probably be embarrassed to say that I am unaware of, because of this I am going to Google some of those acronyms to reference them. Perhaps a reader might be unaware just like me.

First hand Observations from the Border (please share everywhere you can)

The information presented here is part observation and part interviews with people living this nightmare. The information is given by people that would never share these details on Facebook, email, phone, or texts. It was only secured after personal trust was won and only given in hushed voices in face to face conversations with no pictures or video allowed. Cartels have the technology to learn where any picture posted online was taken. The information was collected with old fashion pen and notebook.

There are six main players in the south Texas border area. Cartels or Narco terrorists, Border Patrol, Sheriff Departments, Land Owners, Militias, other Federal and local Agencies. Seventh would be Muslim groups.

The Cartels partially operate like a corporation, their higher echelon have families and well groomed lawns. Lower echelon are less than animals. They have a pyramid style organization.

Family at the top, security and soldiers in the middle working their way into the family, and then on the ground gangsters motivated to kill anyone to gain the upper tiers.

They also pay mercenaries to come from all over the globe to carry out missions on American soil. East Europeans and Russians are used to assassinate and terrorize people on the lookout for Latin descendant cartels. They are paid in drugs and women for their loyalty. The Cartels have unlimited supply of cash and resources. They can and will buy anything they need to achieve their goals. They have used IEDs to move Border Patrol away from areas they want and the Border Patrol often complies. Most police and agencies simply avoid them.

The cartels have a dumping ground below a cliff. Standing at the top you think you are looking at clothes strewn everywhere when in fact it is bodies. Recently in New Laredo (Mexico) 60 headless bodies were found. In Laredo (Texas) 60 heads were found.

Two families run New Laredo and are at constant war. One family runs Laredo with an iron fist. There is no police in New Laredo. The Mexican Army makes token patrols wearing masks.

The Cartels come out in the South Texas night in trucks with 360 swivel .50 Cals installed in the bed terrorizing any rancher who has stepped out of line. They know how many police are in which town and what their weaknesses are. They use Hwy 16 through McMullan County, town of Tilden to run product north because the county has only 2 deputies and a sheriff with no or little aid from the Feds or State. Cartels have little to fear. Their reach has grown to the point that whites are members. All and any race can possibly be cartel or working for the cartel.

A little known aspect of cartel operations is the slave trade. Members often move product north and are expected to bring kidnap victims back when they return south. Four attractive women were stolen from the small town were staged at this year alone. If a cartel family member sees a woman he wants, his soldiers will follow her until taking her becomes possible. Rancher family members are often kidnaped for ransom and treated well and returned because ransom is often paid with no involvement with Authorities.

The Border Patrol is the most dedicated and honorable force of good in the area. Not perfect but the closest thing to effective determent on the border. They use high technology like blimps and drones. They are handcuffed by the Federal government that cuts their hours and reduces their mission scope. Rules of engagement often make Border Patrol agents little more than observers. The agents work off duty for the ranchers, they are better armed off duty. They wear brown uniforms similar to their official uniforms with no patches or insignia, when they capture illegals they turn them over to their on duty comrades and the reports are written as “illegals turned in by ranch hands”. This method may be the most effective means of slowing the “bleeding”. The border patrol knows when they are outgunned which is often the case when the cartels are serious about moving product and they pull back or look the other way so they can live to fight another day.

All sheriff departments on the border, save two are paid off by the cartels. The two county Sheriffs that are fighting back are often handcuffed by the Feds. Sheriffs recently asked militias for help but after the recent cop killings in Las Vegas, the Feds leveled a huge amount of pressure on local authorities not to collaborate with militias and to send them home which is exactly what happened. Makes one question what was really behind that event in Las Vegas.

The landowners and ranchers dance to a dangerous tune between the devil and a tyrant. They must make agreements with the cartels about what can or will happen on their land under the threat of having their land confiscated by the Federal government. If the Feds can make the case that the ranchers know drugs are being smuggled on their land they use imminent domain or RICO type laws to confiscate their land. The ranchers often make agreements allowing people smuggling if the cartels will not smuggle drugs. A rancher recently became fed up with this arrangement and decided he would not allow anyone on his property be they Fed or cartel.

He hired armed men to police his land. All of his men were systematically assassinated with silenced weapons and he and his family were killed in his home including a 6 month old infant. This event was written up by the Feds and local official as inter-gang warfare.

If a rancher confronts the cartel he goes into the “book”. They often begin killing his extend family, meaning cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters working through the family all the way to the rancher himself. The ranchers have been mostly reduced to making a token phone call to the Border Patrol that they know will bring no response so they can say they reported activity and keep their land. It is a dance. They must live “tactically” at all times. They live in a war zone and they know it.

There are three well known militias. TSM [Texas State Militia] which allows almost anyone in. TCM which is filled with Vets, some trained better than others, some not. Bowie Volunteer Militia where one must be able to pass a PT test [Personal Training or Personal Fitness Test] and have training. There are meetings and lots of training but lots of infighting and frustration at the handcuffing and ROE [Rules of Engagement] forced on them by authorities. They have mostly all dispersed. I personally heard some say they are not going back to border region unless to shoot, fight, and kill.

The alphabet soup agencies are mostly inept. They make appearances and little more, they are outgunned and they know it. They show badges and make threats towards the local LEO [Local Enforcement Officer] that can and do actually make a difference. They are hated by all including locals and cartel. They often show up unprepared and wholly uninformed with what they face, some agents have parked their vehicles returning later to view them stripped of all gear including full auto M4s.

One of the most troubling aspects of the border is that Muslim groups have bought huge swaths of land that they operate 24/7 training for Jihad. 30 such camps are reported to exist in south Texas. They are waiting for opportunity. They also send fighters overseas. This is how many American Citizens are found fighting in places like Afghanistan. What is more troubling is that the cartels and the Muslim groups are fighting over the lucrative drug trade in faraway lands in South America. If the Muslims secure even a small portion of this billion dollar racket, they can finance chaos all over the planet. Now that they have established a foothold in south Texas they are dispersing into other states and protected by the Feds under the auspice of freedom of religion. They are just waiting for the right opportunity to start Jihad in America.

Conclusion

South Texas is an occupied land. It is not the Wild West where there was at least a hint of honor and respect for traditional American chivalry. It is a tactical battle zone with competing interest constantly at battle with one another. Politics and Federal Tyranny exasperate the conditions on the ground. It is Afghanistan plopped onto the American Map with literally the same players on the ground thrown into the mix with the worst criminals Mexico and South America can produce alongside Americans who are looking for advantages. All preying on true local patriots trying to scrape out a living on lands long passed down through the generations. What solution is there? Most often I hear we should send our military to take back the land and secure the border. This is partially plausible but only if it is viewed as a deployment with war zone ROE. You will not succeed in South Texas if you go there to stand around looking tough. The enemies must be defeated. Like many Texas Militia, I will never return to the area unless I go there to fight and eliminate the invaders. Make no mistake, we have been invaded and are being occupied. South Texas is no longer America. When a country refuses to defend its borders it ceases to be a country. This gaping hole in our southern border will soon effect the entire nation. You must begin to prepare.

The WAR on the Border-

As of Friday, June 13, 2014, the White House tells Border Patrol Agents not to speak to reporters or face criminal charges!

After the leaked Breitbart photos of the children and sick that they were able to catch, some with MERS [Middle East Respiratory Syndrome] and other viruses, overwhelming our bases and turning them into day care centers, DHS and border patrol is threatened to shut up. Meanwhile, here come the cartels we have been warning about, moving in to take full advantage! This photo was taken in Texas. This is what people in the north don’t see. DHS and ICE have been neutered and are powerless to stop it. Now they are even getting threats from the Oval Office to shut up and stop talking to the press or face felony criminal charges!

WASHINGTON (AP) – The surge in immigrant children caught crossing the southern border in Texas that has dominated headlines and risks becoming a political crisis for President Barack Obama and Congress includes a new threat facing Border Patrol agents: reporters. An assistant chief patrol agent, Eligio “Lee” Pena, warned more than 3,000 Border Patrol agents that journalists looking for information about what Obama has described as a humanitarian crisis are likely to ask for information and “may try to disguise themselves.” The email, obtained by The Associated Press, said agents should not speak to reporters, on or off duty, without advanced permission and warned that anyone who does could be charged with a crime or disciplined administratively. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Gil Kerlikowske told the AP on Friday he was not aware of Pena’s email warnings but said generally, “I am not a fan of telling people not to talk.” Kerlikowske, who has pledged greater transparency since taking over the agency earlier this year, did not formally disavow the directive but added that Border Patrol agents should be focused on their jobs while on duty. Pena’s email was issued as national news organizations descended on the border to cover the immigration surge, especially children crossing the border alone from Central America. The problem has overwhelmed the Border Patrol. More than 47,000 children traveling alone have been found at the border since the start of the budget year in October. Pena did not describe what sorts of disguises could be employed by reporters. ~Houston Chronicle

They don’t want to release our soldier who had legal weapons in Mexico? How about this, we have over 300 instances of Mexican Soldiers coming over our border and not a one of them is in Jail.

That’s right, over 300 instances of the very same thing they accuse our marine of doing, including shooting people and landing helicopters on our farm property and our federal government hasn’t done a thing. Instead, they threaten border agents against speaking out, and they use these kids in a sick and twisted human trafficking scam to punish the states that speak out against the President’s bid for Amnesty and complete and utter disregard for border security.

Yes, he is using the children to punish anyone that speaks out. Oklahoma has made headlines with their recent bucking of the Federal Common Core. They now have 600 to 1200 children at Ft. Sill, turning an Army post into a day care center! What about anyone else that spoke up? Well, isn’t it amazing that their State bases have also had children shipped to them, slowly neutralizing the military. Do you want to call out the National Guard? The Oval Office says too bad, if you do we will press federal charges on you for subverting the government. Ask Governor Perry and Governor Brewer about the e-mails they received from the Pentagon.

It also seems that people think that the individuals Obama released from prison were nice criminals. The government didn’t keep tabs on them. In fact, DHS doesn’t know where many of them went. So out of the 37,000 he used to punish Texas, let’s take a close look at what these individuals did.

The document reveals that the 36,007 convicted criminal aliens freed from ICE custody in many instances had multiple convictions. Among them, the 36,007 had nearly 88,000 convictions, including:

193 homicide convictions (including one willful killing of a public official with gun)

426 sexual assault convictions

303 kidnapping convictions

1,075 aggravated assault convictions

1,160 stolen vehicle convictions

9,187 dangerous drug convictions

16,070 drunk or drugged driving convictions

303 flight escape convictions ~Center for Immigration Studies

These are not the nice guys you hire at the Home Depot to fix your roof to undercut the labor unions. By the way, did you know that 88% of those send 90% of their pay checks back to their country of origin and live almost free in the United States on your tax dollar? They have no intention of becoming US Citizens. Governor Perry offered them in state tuition if they became American Citizens in 3 years. Less than 15% of all Illegals take them up on the offer. They don’t because why should they? We pay for everything for them anyway, to the point that our own sovereign people and veterans are having issues getting benefits.

Meanwhile, people don’t get it. The children are pawns, a distraction. Of the 6000 people that come across daily, only 2000 of the children and the weakest physically are being rounded up. Where are the other 4000? Do people not realize that they are connected to people like CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda, and the drug cartels? Do they not care that these people have infiltrated from New York to Seattle? They are branching out from California to Florida. They are making camps in all 48 of the Continental States (no confirmed camps in Alaska or Hawaii). Does no one care?

On live television, a film maker exposed the drug boats coming back and forth across the border, and yet people still choose not to believe their country is being invaded.

I leave you with this thought: As you watch this, you need to be concerned. You need to get in touch with your governor and Congress. The United States has got to do something to secure the border. You cannot tell me if the government can declare a 100 mile radius around the border of the continental states a Constitutional free zone and patrol it with drones, it could not have stopped this. You cannot tell me that with the militarization of DHS and adding MRAPs [Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected] to police forces it couldn’t have stopped the invasion. And make no mistake, this is an invasion that threatens your very freedom, liberty, Social Security system, jobs, education, and the very sovereignty of the United States of America. I have no clue how the Representatives of Congress or the President can sleep at night selling out our country and committing high treason against the Constitution of the USA.
