How to Steal an Election: Mail-In Ballots

Election Day is November 3 in the year of our Lord 2020. One Dem-Marxist Party strategy for stealing this election to perpetuate the destruction of our Founding Fathers’ Republic is Universal Mail-in Ballots. Here is the PragerU explanation of the difference between Universal and Absentee Ballots and how the Universal format has already been rife with Dem Party supporter fraud. Using COVID-fearmongering to perpetuate voter fraud must be stopped!

What’s the difference between absentee balloting and universal mail-in balloting? The latter might sound like a great idea, but is it really? Eric Eggers of the Government Accountability Institute answers this vitally important question. MORE TO READ

[Blog Editor: With Left-controlled Social Platforms like Youtube and others invoking censorship of truth that contradicts a Left-Wing agenda, this PragerU video might be removed. In case that happens, PragerU has the same video on their website beyond the reach of Youtube and Leftist censorship. That PragerU link: https://www.prageru.com/video/how-to-steal-an-election-mail-in-ballots/. Below is the transcript of PragerU’s Eric Eggers’ video demonstration on “How to Steal an Election: Mail-In Ballots”.]

Is there a problem with universal mail-in balloting?

Sounds simple enough: You fill out a ballot, stick it in the mail; somebody counts it on Election Day. In fact, we already do that with absentee ballots, right? So why would universal mail-in balloting be any different?

Well, the biggest difference is that with absentee ballots, the voter specifically asks for a ballot.

With universal mail-in balloting, ballots are mailed out en masse. Millions of people who would normally go to the polls vote by mail instead.

No national election has ever been conducted this way. And there are very good reasons to be concerned that one ever should.

Reason #1:

Bureaucratic incompetence.

I don’t think I have to sell you on the idea that when the government bureaucracy takes on a big new project with little preparation, the results aren’t pretty. We’ve seen those results as it relates to mail-in balloting already.

Wisconsin was one of the first states to hold a primary in the coronavirus era. It saw an influx in mail-in votes as a result. Predictably, this led to serious snafus: Thousands of requested ballots were not sent; 1,600 ballots were found in a mail processing center the day after the election; 23,000 votes were rejected due to missing signatures or other missing information.

And those are the mistakes we know about in just one state and in one primary election, when fewer people than in the general election typically bother to cast a vote.

In Pennsylvania, where they delayed the date of their primary to get better prepared for the expected increase in mail-in balloting, they still couldn’t handle the volume. Half of Philadelphia’s votes were still uncounted a week after the election.

In Virginia, more than half a million applications for ballots were mailed with incorrect information. Some of the applications went to the wrong addresses, some went to dead voters, one even went to a pet.

Under the best of circumstances, the bureaucracy struggles with mail-in balloting. Under less than the best of circumstances? That’s not a scenario we want to face.

Which brings us to reason #2 for concern: shoddy security.

Here’s what the New York Times said about voting by mail in an article in 2012. Keep in mind, they were talking about traditional absentee balloting, not a mass-mailing of ballots.

“There is a bipartisan consensus that voting by mail, whatever its impact, is more easily abused than other forms.”

No kidding.

In May 2020, New Jersey conducted its first ever all-mail election. One month later, two elected officials were among four charged with criminal conduct involving mail-in ballots. One operative confessed to stealing ballots, both completed and uncompleted, out of mailboxes. Other operatives compiled a database of signatures of prospective voters, and then used them to fill out ballots on behalf of their preferred candidates.

And we only know about it because they got caught.

Election fraud only figures to get easier because of a new weapon in the cheater’s arsenal— ballot harvesting. This is the term for when a third party—usually a campaign worker or activist—goes to people’s homes and collects their ballots.

With ballot harvesting, you don’t even have to put your ballot in the mailbox; vote harvesters will pick it up for you. The opportunities for mischief—say, pressuring people to vote a certain way, destroying ballots, or filling out ballots for those who didn’t bother to vote—are endless.

Vote harvesting that targets senior citizens for their ballots even has its own name: “granny farming.”

Reason #3 to be concerned:

The likelihood of long delays in determining final results.

Americans are used to knowing who won and who lost within hours of the polls closing on Election Day. Of course, some close races take longer to sort out. But the longer it takes, the less legitimate an election seems.

That is exactly what happened in the 2000 presidential election—Bush v. Gore. Then, the dispute was focused on a single state: Florida. It was finally settled by the Supreme Court over a month later.

If we have a national election that relies heavily on mail-in voting, we’re almost certain to see a significant delay before we get the final results. From the post office to the vote counters, the system is just not set up for it.

In a close contest involving massive mail-in voting, lawsuits disputing the results are inevitable. This could delay final results even longer. And instead of involving a single state, it’s likely to involve multiple states. This is a recipe for civil unrest as frustration and fear of a stolen election grips voters.

Bureaucratic incompetence. Shoddy security. Long delays.

These are just some of the concerns any reasonable person should have over universal mail-in balloting.

What’s the solution?

Simple. If you need to vote absentee, request a ballot. Otherwise, vote like you always have: in person.

To call someone a racist is a serious charge. Conservatives are accused of racism by the left on a daily basis. Are the accusations fair? Or is something else going on? Derryck Green of Project 21 provides some provocative answers.

Script:

Every single day someone of prominence on the left—a politician, a cable news host, an entertainment figure—accuses someone on the right of being a racist.

Here are typical examples:

MSNBC host Chris Matthews said this: “The age of Jim Crow managed to find a new habitat in the… 21st-century Republican Party.”

Comedian Seth Meyers told his late-night audience that Republicans traffic “in open racism.”

Tennessee state representative London Lamar, a black woman, announced that the entire state of Tennessee is “racist. Period.” This was just after she was elected… in Tennessee! And almost every criticism of President Barack Obama was labelled racist.

The left calling the right racist isn’t new. It’s been going on for decades.

Republican Presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George Herbert Walker Bush, his son, George W. Bush were all accused of being racists. And, of course, from the left’s perspective, “racist” is essentially Donald Trump’s middle name.

To call someone a racist is a very serious charge. A racist is a person who believes that one race is inherently superior or inferior to another. It’s not intelligence, character or values that determine an individual’s worth; it’s his or her skin color.

To say that racism is foolish and stupid—not to mention evil—is to understate the case. But according to most Democrats, Republicans are that stupid and that evil. So, let’s examine some conservative policies to see if they are, indeed, racist. If they are, then the left has a valid complaint. And if they’re not, then the left is lying.

The longstanding conservative opposition to Affirmative Action is a good place to start. It was Democratic president John F. Kennedy who, in 1961, first used the term “affirmative action.” But Affirmative Action in the way we think of it now wasn’t implemented until 1970, during the administration of a Republican president, Richard Nixon.

The theory was that, because of historical discrimination, blacks were at a competitive disadvantage to other races and ethnicities. To erase that disadvantage, standards that most blacks presumably couldn’t meet had to be lowered.

One could make the case that this policy had some utility when it was first put in place. But that was a long time ago. The conservative position is that blacks have repeatedly proven they can compete with anyone without the benefits of lower standards. There are countless examples of black success in every field, at every level. The policy is no longer necessary.

But the conservative argument goes further. Study after study shows that, in the case of college admissions, affirmative action hurts more blacks than it helps. By lowering admissions standards for blacks (and some other minority students), colleges set many of these students up for failure. They get placed in schools for which they are not prepared. And high black dropout rates confirm this view.

Blog Intro to ‘Why You Should Be a Nationalist’

Intro by John R. Houk

© December 17, 2018

Has anyone noticed that Trump-inspired concepts of Make America Great Again and America First concepts have been boiled down by political pundits to Nationalism? In my mind the Trumpian concepts are Nationalistic BUT in the sense of Patriotism.

I use the word “BUT” because if you listen to today’s Dem or any Leftist ideologue, you would hear that “Nationalism” is akin to Nazism. Indeed, a Leftist worth their salt in ideology will point out the word Nazi (actually more accurately “NAZI”) in anglicized form derives from National Socialist German Workers’ Party. The anglicized initials came down to NSDAP derived from the German “Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei”. To Americans, Brits and other English-speaking nations (largely descended from Great Britain) the NSDAP simply became the Nazi Party or Nazis.

The point being today’s Leftists see the “National” and conveniently forget the “Socialist” portion of Nazi and equate the term with Right-Wing German racist nationalism. More on this modern Leftist propaganda equating national borders as racism and an enemy to the globalist utopia imagined by Leftist ideologues – in a later post.

For now, I want to assure you that Trumpian Nationalism is more akin to American Patriotism, American Exceptionalism and love nation and founding heritage.

PragerU has the assurance and proper explanation of Nationalism in a five and one-half video spoken by the author of The Virtue of NationalismYoram Hazony.

The very first Thanksgiving happened almost 400 years ago—long before the nation was born. How did it evolve into America’s quintessential national holiday? Credit largely goes to two people—one, a name you know; the other, you’ve probably never heard—but should. Melanie Kirkpatrick, senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, gives us the run-down on how a harvest party between Pilgrims and Indians became our oldest national tradition.

Intro to PragerU’s ‘Who Is Karl Marx?’

Intro by John R. Houk

I have read that Millennials have become sympathetic to the concept of Socialism. Here are three definitions from Merriam-Webster:

1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods

2 a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property

b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state

3: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

Vladimir Lenin – the first dictator of the Soviet Union once said, “The goal of socialism is communism.”

Communism is often attributed to the theories promoted by Karl Marx. Those theories are absolutely contradictory to what has made America great. And yet Millennials find favor with the Socialist ideology that would turn America into a totalitarian nation.

PragerU gives a short explanation of what Karl Marx got rolling.

Exposing Islam Must Not be Censored

John R. Houk

© October 28, 2017

Bill Warner is one of my favorite Counterjihadists. Hence, I grateful to be on his email list which usually links to relatively short teaching moments exposing the dark side of Islam. The exposés are based on Islamic revered writings included honored Muslim commentaries.

Warner’s 10/27/17 email has an October 10 teaching moment link; however, the email is more focused on censorship conducted by the Left because that portion of the political spectrum believes exposing Islam is a hate-action described by the epithet Islamophobia.

The American oriented online Merriam-Webster defines Islamophobia thus:

irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against Islam or people who practice Islam

Is it irrational to expose the reasoning of a Muslim who is merely following the bloody example of Islam’s founder the (pseudo)prophet Muhammad (Mohammed)? Muslims are taught from birth that Muhammad is the perfect and should be emulated. The reality – gleaned from Islamic revered writings – Muhammad was a bloodthirsty killer of all who refused him, who had a special hatred for polytheists followed closely by Jews and Christians, he raped women, turned women into sex-slaves, extorted non-Muslims with a fake-protection tax, forced non-Muslims to live a dog-of-a-subservient life and that is relatively the tip of the iceberg of this so-called perfect man.

Telling that truth, labels me a racist Islamophobe by the Left and Muslim apologist. Bill Warner in introducing one his past videos, provides an excellent yet short reality about the term Leftists and Muslims use for racism:

Islamophobia is an imaginary mental disorder. Fear of Islam is a reality-based awareness.”

And this returns me to Bill Warner exposing Leftist censorship that is getting Counterjihadists banned and demonetized because they dare to expose Islam or some anti-Conservative value of the Left.

So this how I am going to handle the Warner email. I will cross post the text of the email less the links to videos and to the PragerU link because I am posting those separately from the email.

The Southern Poverty Law Center bills itself as a watchdog of hate groups. But is this just a cover for its true aims? Journalist and author Karl Zinsmeister explains.

Script:

Shutting down people you don’t agree with is about as un-American as you can get.

Rigorous debate, honest discussion, open exchange of ideas—that’s the American way.

But free thinking and speech are threatened today by a group with a sweet-sounding name that conceals a nefarious purpose. This group is called the Southern Poverty Law Center, or SPLC.

Originally founded as a civil-rights law firm in 1971, the SPLC reinvented itself in the mid-‘80s as a political attack group. Every year now it produces a new list of people and charities it claims are “extremists” and “haters.”

Aided by glowing coverage from the establishment media, the SPLC’s hate list has become a weapon for taking individuals and groups they disagree with and tarring them with ugly associations.

The SPLC employs a two-pronged strategy:

First, find a handful of crazies with barely any followers, no address, and no staff, and blow them up into a dangerous movement— proof that there are neo-Nazis lurking everywhere. On their notorious “Hate Map,” the SPLC lists 917 separate hate groups in the U.S.! No one has even heard of more than a handful of them.

The second strategy of the SPLC is to undermine legitimate political voices that they oppose by associating them with extremists like the KKK.

Take the charity known as the Alliance Defending Freedom. The SPLC lists them as a “hate group.” Is that fair? Well, the ADF has a network of 3,000 attorneys from all across the U.S. who’ve donated more than a million volunteer hours in defense of religious liberty. They’ve had a role in 49 victories at the U.S. Supreme Court. Putting the Alliance Defending Freedom on a list with 130 Ku Klux Klan chapters is not only wrong, it’s malicious.

According to the SPLC, one of the most influential social scientists in the U.S.— Charles Murray—is a, quote, “white nationalist.” Ayaan Hirsi Ali, perhaps the most eloquent spokesperson for the rights of Muslim women, is, to the SPLC, a “toxic… anti-Muslim extremist.”

Scores of other individuals and charities active in mainstream conservative or religious causes have likewise been branded by the Southern Poverty Law Center as threats to society.

Mind you, it is entirely fair to disagree with any of those folks. But it is utterly unfair to call them haters or extremists. The largest category listed by the SPLC as extremists—with 623 entries—covers groups like the Tea Party organizations that are wary of centralized government. Last time we checked, favoring smaller government was a mainstream and perfectly honorable American tradition.

What is not honorable is the course prescribed by a leader of the SPLC, Mark Potok, who was caught on video proclaiming the organization’s true intentions. He told a group of supporters, quote, “the press will describe us as ‘monitoring hate groups’…. I want to say plainly that our aim in life is to destroy these groups, to completely destroy them.”

Portraying someone with political views different from your own as a public menace is bullying.

And it’s a dangerous game. Instead of reducing hate and violence, the SPLC’s name-calling directly incites it.

In March 2017, Charles Murray was trying to discuss his acclaimed book Coming Apart at Middlebury College when he was violently attacked by protesters inflamed by the SPLC’s labeling of him as a racist. A professor escorting Murray ended up in the hospital.

Prager University (PragerU) Takes Legal Action Against Google and YouTube for Discrimination

“This is speech discrimination plain and simple, censorship based entirely on unspecified ideological objection to the message or on the perceived identity and political viewpoint of the speaker” – 36th Governor of California Pete Wilson
Browne, George, Ross LLP

SUPPORT OUR CAUSE

LOS ANGELES — Prager University (PragerU) has filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California to stop Google and YouTube from unlawfully censoring its educational videos and discriminating against its right to freedom of speech.

The lawsuit cites more than 50 PragerU videos which have either been “restricted” or “demonetized” by Google/YouTube. The PragerU videos range on various subjects presenting a conservative point of view, and include a video by noted Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz on the founding of Israel. PragerU previously compiled a complete list of their restricted videos here, which includes: “Why America Must Lead,” “The Ten Commandments: Do Not Murder,” “Why Did America Fight the Korean War,” and “The World’s Most Persecuted Minority: Christians.”

In correspondence cited in the filing, Google/YouTube made it clear that the censorship of certain videos was because they were deemed “inappropriate” for younger audiences.

“Watch any one of our videos and you’ll immediately realize that Google/YouTube censorship is entirely ideologically driven. For the record, our videos are presented by some of the finest minds in the Western world, including four Pulitzer Prize winners, former prime ministers, and professors from the most prestigious universities in America,” stated PragerU founder Dennis Prager.

Prager added, “They are engaging in an arbitrary and capricious use of their ‘restricted mode’ and ‘demonetization’ to restrict non-left political thought. Their censorship is profoundly damaging because Google and YouTube own and control the largest forum for public participation in video-based speech in not only California, but the United States, and the world.”

The total number of people who currently use YouTube exceeds 1.3 billion people. Google and YouTube advertise YouTube to the public as a forum intended to defend and protect free speech where members of the general public may express and exchange their ideas. They have represented that their platforms and services are intended to effectuate the exercise of free speech among the public. According to Google and YouTube: “voices matter.” YouTube states that it is “committed to fostering a community where everyone’s voice can be heard.”

“However,” said Eric George of Browne George Ross, the firm representing PragerU, “Google and YouTube use restricted mode filtering not to protect younger or sensitive viewers from ‘inappropriate’ video content, but as a political gag mechanism to silence PragerU. Google and YouTube do this not because they have identified video content that violates their guidelines or is otherwise inappropriate for younger viewers, but because PragerU is a conservative nonprofit organization that is associated with and espouses the views of leading conservative speakers and scholars.”

“This is speech discrimination plain and simple, censorship based entirely on unspecified ideological objection to the message or on the perceived identity and political viewpoint of the speaker,” said former California Governor Pete Wilson of Browne George Ross. “Google and YouTube’s use of restricted mode filtering to silence PragerU violates its fundamental First Amendment rights under both the California and United States Constitutions. It constitutes unlawful discrimination under California law, is a misleading and unfair business practice, and breaches the warranty of good faith and fair dealing implied in Google and YouTube’s own Terms of Use and ‘Community Guidelines.’”

“There is absolutely nothing ‘inappropriate’ about the content of the PragerU videos censored by Google and YouTube; the videos do not contain any profanity, nudity or otherwise inappropriate ‘mature’ content and they fully comply with the letter of YouTube’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines,” said Marissa Streit, PragerU’s chief executive officer who has engaged in a year-long-effort to try and persuade Google to stop censoring PragerU content. Streit continues, “It’s clear that someone doesn’t like what we teach and so they intend on stopping us from teaching it. Can you imagine what the world would look like if Google is allowed to continue to arbitrarily censor ideas they simply don’t agree with?”

“This is not a left/right issue. It is a free speech issue, which is why prominent liberals, such as Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, are supporting our lawsuit,” Prager concluded.

The lawsuit filed in the Northern District of California is available here.

What I Admire about Islam

By Bill Warner

Oct 10, 2017

Political Islam

Islam has many strengths that we need to learn from. For instance, Islam’s concept of civilizational war has no equal in the West. Muslims use a hijab as a weapon, for instance. Muslims have a perpetual optimism about winning. Muslims want to win; we want to tie. Muslims naturally form groups to advance their cause. They are a powerful political lobbying group.

We need to learn from Islam’s strengths so that we don’t lose.

Political Islam About Page

What is Islam?

Islam is a cultural, religious and political system. Only the political system is of interest to kafirs (non-Muslims) since it determines how we are defined and treated. The Islamic political system is contained in the Koran, the Hadith (the traditions of Mohammed) and his biography, the Sira.

CSPI

Center for the Study of Political Islam (CSPI) is an educational organization dedicated to enlightening the general public about the doctrine of political Islam based on the works of Dr. Bill Warner.

Our Mission

Political Islam has subjugated other civilizations for 1400 years. Our mission is to educate the world about political Islam, its founder Mohammed, his political doctrine and his god, Allah.

The Five Principles

Islam’s Trilogy of three sacred texts is the Koran and two books about the life of Mohammed. When the Trilogy is sorted, categorized, arranged, rewritten and  READ THE REST

PragerU What We Do

 Our Mission

The greatest threat to America is that most Americans don’t know what makes America great. PragerU’s mission is to explain and spread what we call “Americanism” through the power of the Internet. Our five-minute videos are conservative sound bites that clarify profoundly significant and uniquely American concepts for more than 100 million people each year.

Our Vision

We help millions of people understand the fundamental values that shaped America, and provide them with the intellectual ammunition they need to defend and spread those values. PragerU is a resource for every American—and every person in the world who values liberty—for understanding and explaining the values we share.

About Us

We take the best ideas from the best minds and distill them down to five focused minutes. We then add graphics and animation to create the most persuasive, entertaining, and educational case possible for the values that have made America and the West the source of so much liberty and wealth. These values are Judeo-Christian at their core and include the concepts of freedom of speech, a free press, free markets and a strong military to protect and project those values.

Palestinian State Means Israel’s Destruction

John R. Houk

About a month ago I found an interesting PragerU video at the G+ Community Islam contribution to America about Israel’s constant offers to give up land for an Arab state to be called Palestine and the Palestinian terrorists constant rejection of the Israeli offers. The owner of the community Roland Oliva posted the video on 4/27/17.

The enumeration of the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians constant rejection is well presented on the video. David Brog is the video speaker. His conclusion for Israeli/Arab peace is to accept the existence of the Jewish State of Israel in a Two-State Solution format.

I know it is a bit extreme and politically incorrect, but I have no doubt that a Two-State Solution is workable path. Why? The Multiculturalist believing world will continue to expect Israel to supply the infrastructure operations (electricity, water, etc.) while the fake Palestinian people will continue to find ways to destroy Israel. Hamas controlled Gaza (aka Hamastan) is enough evidence of the parameters of a Two-State Solution.

Rather the defensible survival of the Jewish nation is a One-State Solution with Israel annexing most of Judea and Samaria (known as the West Bank to Multiculturalists and Jew-hating Arabs) and Gaza. Push the Jew-hating Arabs out of the annexed areas. Offer Jordan a small portion of Judea and Samaria next to the Jordanian border. Let Jordan deal with the volatile Arabs that call themselves Palestinians in any way the best suits the maintenance of their government. Then let the chips fall where they may.

As a side note, the Hashemite Monarchy of Jordan had to expel Arabs that call themselves Palestinians because old Yasser Arafat tried to dethrone the Monarchy and claim Jordan for himself to launch future attacks against Israel. The Jordanians won that civil war and expelled Arafat and his military cadres. Arabs that consider themselves Palestinians still make up a large chunk of the Jordanian population. These pseudo-Palestinians do not have full citizenship benefits in Jordan undoubtedly due to Arafat’s attempt to root out the Hashemite Monarchy.

Here’s the PragerU video but there is more to peace than for Arabs to recognize the existence of a Jewish State.

Why don’t the Palestinians have their own country? Is it the fault of Israel? Of the Palestinians? Of both parties? David Brog, Executive Director of the Maccabee Task Force, shares the surprising answers.

If Israel just allowed the Palestinians to have a state of their own, there would be peace in the Middle East, right? That’s what you hear from UN ambassadors, European diplomats and most college professors.

But what if I told you that Israel has already offered the Palestinians a state of their own – and not just once, but on five separate occasions?

Don’t believe me?

Let’s review the record.

After the breakup of the Ottoman Empire following World War I, Britain took control of most of the Middle East, including the area that constitutes modern Israel.

Seventeen years later, in 1936, the Arabs rebelled against the British, and against their Jewish neighbors.

The British formed a task force – the Peel Commission – to study the cause of the rebellion. The commission concluded that the reason for the violence was that two peoples – Jews and Arabs – wanted to govern the same land.

The answer, the Peel Commission concluded, would be to create two independent states – one for the Jews, and one for the Arabs. A two-state solution. The suggested split was heavily in favor of the Arabs. The British offered them 80 percent of the disputed territory; the Jews, the remaining 20 percent. Yet, despite the tiny size of their proposed state, the Jews voted to accept this offer. But the Arabs rejected it and resumed their violent rebellion. Rejection number one.

Ten years later, in 1947, the British asked the United Nations to find a new solution to the continuing tensions. Like the Peel Commission, the UN decided that the best way to resolve the conflict was to divide the land.

On November 7, 1947, the UN voted to create two states. Again, the Jews accepted the offer. And again, the Arabs rejected it, only this time, they did so by launching an all-out war. Rejection number two.

Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria joined the conflict. But they failed. Israel won the war, and got on with the business of building a new nation. Most of the land set aside by the UN for an Arab state – the West Bank and east Jerusalem – became occupied territory; occupied not by Israel, but by Jordan.

Twenty years later, in 1967, the Arabs, led this time by Egypt and joined by Syria and Jordan, once again sought to destroy the Jewish State.

The 1967 conflict, known as the Six Day War, ended in a stunning victory for Israel. Jerusalem and the West Bank, as well as the area known as the Gaza Strip, fell into Israel’s hands. The government split over what to do with this new territory. Half wanted to return the West Bank to Jordan and Gaza to Egypt in exchange for peace. The other half wanted to give it to the region’s Arabs, who had begun referring to themselves as the Palestinians, in the hope that they would ultimately build their own state there.

Neither initiative got very far. A few months later, the Arab League met in Sudan and issued its infamous “Three No’s:” No peace with Israel. No recognition of Israel. No negotiations with Israel. Again, a two-state solution was dismissed by the Arabs, making this rejection number three.
