The brazen plot against Trump by the Obama-era FBI and DOJ continues, enabled by a complicit media

Earlier today I cross posted the Geller Report (which was actually a Catherine Herridge/Fox News source) on FBI corruption with a shortened title, “Corrupt FBI leadership debated…” In the course of sharing the FBI corruption post, I came across an awesome Fox News post on the same situation.

Fox News Contributors Victoria Toensing and Joseph diGenova effectively write a scathing pierce which does a much better job in showing the hypocritical/corrupt nature the FBI used to target President Trump with FALSE Russian spy incriminations.

The brazen plot against Trump by the Obama-era FBI and DOJ continues, enabled by a complicit media

Fox News

Fox VIDEO link: Rep. Peter King: ‘Absolutely disgraceful’ of FBI to question if Trump’s motivation for firing Comey was tied to Russia.

House Republican sounds off on revelations that senior FBI leadership debated whether President Trump was directed by the Russian government to fire FBI Director James Comey. (Youtube Version of Rep. King interview)

A stench has been emanating from the J. Edgar Hoover Building (FBI headquarters) for over two years. It landed Saturday on the front page of the New York Times in an article citing “former law enforcement officials” claiming they had to deal with “explosive implications” that President Donald Trump was “knowingly” or “unwittingly” working for Russia. Thus, the story goes, there was a basis to begin the Russia collusion investigation.

In fact, “The Gray Lady” was covering the derrieres of the Obama administration officials involved in the cabal to frame Trump, who now fear an imminent Special Counsel finding that during the 2016 campaign there was no collusion between Trump and the Russians. The article is intended to convey the following message: Even though there was no evidence to support the allegations, those making the decision to investigate Trump did so in good faith.

No, they did not. The rotting of the FBI hierarchy began when then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and then-agent Peter Strzok, enabled by former Director James Comey and the Obama-era Justice Department, utilized an “unsubstantiated” dossier created by former British spy, Christopher Steele, and financed by the Clinton campaign, to request a FISA warrant to wiretap Trump campaign advisor Carter Page. Yet, the New York Times described the dossier as a “factor fuel[ing]” the “FBI’s concerns.”

GREGG JARRETT: AN FBI THAT IS CORRUPT AND DISHONEST — LATEST REPORTS OFFER ONLY MORE PROOF

We have been involved in the criminal justice process for decades. Never have we seen a law enforcement person concerned about anything unsubstantiated.

Another “factor” was that Trump “refused to criticize Russia on the campaign trail.” Really? Where was the FBI or DOJ angst in 2012 when President Barack Obama requested then-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev tell Vladimir Putin that after the election, he would have “more flexibility” to deal with serious stuff like missile defense?

Where was the angst when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton attempted a Russian reset? Was anyone in law enforcement tossing his cookies in 2010 when her spouse, Bill Clinton, took $500,000 from a Russian entity comprised of former Russian intelligence operatives? Or when the Obama administration allowed corrupt Russian-controlled companies to purchase Uranium One, thereby acquiring 20 percent of the U.S. uranium supply.

Another “factor” was that in July 2016, candidate Trump “called on Russia” “to hack into” Clinton’s emails. No. Trump’s remark, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you will be able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” was not a request to hack. Hillary had already used BleachBit to delete the emails so “even God cannot read them” according to former Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C. Trump was joking to attack his political opponent for destroying evidence or, in legal jargon, obstructing justice.

Which raises another New York Times “factor”: that firing Comey in May of 2017 was “obstruction of justice” calling for a criminal investigation in addition to the counterintelligence investigation already in place because of the pretextual factors cited above. Set aside the president’s clear constitutional authority to fire any executive branch person for any reason or for no reason.

The fact remains that a person cannot be charged with obstruction of justice if the act at issue cannot obstruct justice, meaning it cannot thwart the investigation. Even if a special counsel had not been (improperly) appointed, the FBI top dog’s departure does not affect in any way the continuing work of the FBI employees below him. Indeed, it has not. Where is the obstruction?

Moreover, if firing Comey obstructed justice, why wasn’t Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who recommended the firing, also placed under investigation?

The New York Times story was created to obfuscate the real criminal conspiracy: violation of Title 18 of U.S. Code Section 242, which prohibits any person under color of law (i.e. Obama administration personnel) to deprive another of “rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution.” Such legal protection includes being free from a criminal investigation based on false charges.

Perhaps the bizarre January 20, 2017 email Susan Rice wrote “to herself” purporting to document a January 5, 2017 meeting with President Obama, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, FBI Director Comey and Vice President Joe Biden, gives a clue as to some of those conspirators. The meeting discussed the Steele dossier and Russian collusion, but curiously Rice stressed that the former president said every aspect should be handled “by the book.” Yet, Strzok had told his FBI colleague and paramour Lisa Page not to worry about Trump being elected because “We’ll stop it.”

The brazen plot against President Trump by the Obama-era FBI and DOJ continues, enabled by a complicit media. The odor of corruption has long been noxious. But the Democrats and media hold their collective noses. The criminal clique, via the New York Times, has announced to the world, “Catch me if you can.”

The paradoxes of the Mueller investigation

John R. Houk, Editor

February 22, 2018

I find it very disturbing the U.S. Press (aka Lame Stream Media, Leftist Mainstream Media & so on) is so hot in Trump-hatred that they would rather distribute fake news or inflammatory opinions too often based on lies and/or twisted facts to incite Impeachment Proceedings against President Trump.

There has not been ONE reported connection between President Trump colluding with the Russians in the 2016 election cycle. NOT ONE!

HOWEVER, there has ample Congressional testimony of Dems (Crooked Hillary & Associates as well as Odious Obama & Associates) colluding the Russians over the 2016 election cycle.

As bad, some RINOs conspired with the Clinton Crime Syndicate (aka Clinton Foundation) to make some nefarious bucks by clearing the way for 20% of American uranium to end up into the hands of Russians. AND Mueller as the then FBI Director did nothing to alert the public of the conspiracy, indicating he might somehow be in on the Uranium One crime conspiracy.

Where is the U.S. Press on informing the public about more tangible crimes against the rule of law by these wicked Dems? It is beginning to feel like collusion with these characters: Obama, Obama’s upper echelon staff, Crooked Hillary & staff (both State Department & Campaign), Slick Willy (aka former President Clinton), the usual suspects of Slick Willy’s staff & associates, FBI upstairs staff, Intel Agencies of numerous alphabet acronyms AND various Dems still in Office.

The paradoxes of the Mueller investigation

By Victor Davis Hanson

Feb. 22, 2018

Jewish World Review

Special counsel Robert Mueller has indicted 13 Russian nationals for allegedly conspiring to sow confusion in the 2016 presidential election. The chance of extraditing any of the accused from Vladimir Putin’s Russia is zero.

Some of the Russians’ Keystone Cops efforts to disrupt the election favored Donald Trump (as well as Bernie Sanders). Yet Mueller’s team made it clear that the Russians neither colluded with any U.S. citizens nor had any material effect on the election’s outcome.

But from here on out, there will be ironies, paradoxes and unintended consequences with just about everything Mueller does.

Is it now time to prosecute foreigners for attempting to interfere with a U.S. election? If so, then surely Christopher Steele, the author of the Fusion GPS dossier, is far more culpable and vulnerable than the 13 bumbling Russians.

Steele is not a U.S. citizen. Steele colluded with Russian interests in compiling his lurid dossier about Donald Trump. Steele did not register as a foreign agent. And Steele was paid by Hillary Clinton’s campaign to find dirt on political rival Trump and his campaign.

In other words, Steele’s position is far worse than that of the Russians for at a variety of reasons. One, he is easily extraditable while the Russians are not. Two, his efforts really did affect the race, given that the dossier was systematically leaked to major media and served as a basis for the U.S. government to spy on American citizens. Three, unlike with the Russians, no one disputes that American citizens — Hillary Clinton, members of the Democratic National Committee, and anti-Trump partisan Glenn Simpson and his Fusion GPS team — colluded by paying for Steele’s work.

Mueller’s team has also leveraged a guilty plea from former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn for making false statements to FBI investigators. If the Flynn case is now the Mueller standard, then we know that a number of high-ranking officials are vulnerable to such legal exposure.

Department of Justice official Bruce Ohr deliberately omitted on federal disclosure forms the fact that his wife, an expert on Russia, worked on the Fusion GPS dossier.

Steele himself probably lied to the FBI went he claimed he had not leaked the dossier’s contents to the media.

Hillary Clinton aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills likely lied to FBI investigator Peter Strzok (who had also interviewed Flynn) when they claimed they had no idea that Clinton was using a private and illegal email server until the story went public. In fact, Abedin and Mills had communicated with Clinton over the same server — as did then-President Barack Obama, who likewise denied that he knew about the improper server.

Former FBI Director James Comey likely lied to Congress when he claimed that his exoneration of Clinton came after he had interviewed her. We now know from documents that he drafted a statement about the conclusion of the investigation even before he met with her.

As far as obstruction charges go, Mueller has other possible targets. Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch met secretly with Bill Clinton on a jet parked on a tarmac in Phoenix shortly before the Justice Department closed the probe of Hillary Clinton and chose not to pursue charges against her. Comey said Lynch asked him not to use the word “investigation” when discussing the Clinton email probe. Text messages between Strzok and fellow FBI official Lisa Page suggest that Lynch knew in advance about the conclusions Comey would reach in the investigation.

What is going on?

Mueller is under enormous pressure to find collusion between the Trump team and Russia, or to find that the Trump team obstructed justice by trying to hide such collusion. But neither likely happened. Mueller was appointed at a time of national hysteria, brought on by partisan journalism based on a leaked dossier — itself a product of a discredited British agent working with Russian sources while being paid by the Clinton campaign.

Worse still, the effort to hide the origins and the use of that dossier to obtain court permission to spy on American citizens may be a classic case of obstruction of justice.

Mueller’s existential problem has been with him from the start. Due to the shenanigans of his discredited friend Comey and a rabid media, he was appointed to investigate crimes that did not exist. But if they did exist, collusion and obstruction were committed by those associated with the Clinton campaign and even by members of the Obama administration.

Investigating any possible crimes committed by members of the Clinton campaign or the Obama administration apparently is taboo, given the exalted status of both. But every time Mueller seeks to find incidental wrongdoing by those around Trump, he only makes the case stronger that behavior by those involved in the Clinton campaign and the Obama administration should be investigated.

If such matters are not treated in an unbiased manner, we are not a nation of equality under the law, but a banana republic masquerading as a democracy.

Fox News Video: Benghazi Report Manipulated?

Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com

While Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) is busy running the Benghazi Select Committee in the House, major news is breaking about that avoidable terrorist attack which resulted in the deaths of 4 American patriots.

FOX News’ Megyn Kelly discussed with Congressman Jim Jordan a report from the Heritage Foundation’s Sharyl Attkisson (a former CBS News investigator) that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ordered every document about the Benghazi terrorist attacks which might harm her image be destroyed by her staff.

Here is what Kelly said (above ):

“Hillary Clinton’s advisers may have helped tamper with documents, remove them at least, relating to the attack that killed for Americans, before those documents were handed over to investigators working for the ARB (Accountability Review Board).”

Attkisson’s report shows that Hillary Clinton supporter Raymond Maxwell, who once ran the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, is claiming he “he walked into the State Department one night, and that they [State Department employee] were scrubbing documents.”

Kelly said that when Maxwell walked in, he was told, “Ray, we are to go through these stacks, pull out anything that might be anybody in the Near Eastern Affairs office, or the 7th floor (Hillary Clinton’s floor of the building) in a bad light.” Hillary Clinton’s Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills was also present during the blatant cover-up effort.

When Maxwell asked, “Isn’t that unethical?” he was told, “Ray, those are our orders.”
