Is it Time to Impeach Obama or What?

John R. Houk

The Western Center for Journalism (WCJ) is using an Egyptian TV channel as a resource to report Barack Hussein Obama has diverted billions of dollars to the deposed Mohamed Morsi of Egypt before the Egyptian military tossed him the Office of President. For clarity sake BHO is not being accused of sending the big bucks to the Egyptian government but to Morsi himself.

Below is the video:

VIDEO: Obama’s Secret $8 Billion Bribe To the Muslim Brotherhood

The WCJ reporter Kris Zane believes this is a smoking gun piece of evidence that should be the straw that breaks the camel’s back for the road to impeachment. Perhaps this could open the floodgates of information with Obama’s other nefarious actions now called scandals:

1. IRS targets Obama’s enemies

2. Benghazi

3. Keeping an eye on The Associated Press:

4. Rosengate

5. Potential Holder perjury I

6. The ATF “Fast and Furious” scheme

7. Potential Holder perjury II

8. Sebelius demands payment

9. The Pigford scandal

10. GSA gone wild

11. Veterans Affairs in Disney World

12. Sebelius violates the Hatch Act

13. Solyndra

14. AKA Lisa Jackson

15. The New Black Panthers

16. Waging war all by myself

17. Biden bullies the press

18. AKPD not A-OK

Thoughts on Joyner – Then Read his Prophetic Condemnation of Obama Govt.

Rick Joyner

John R. Houk

© July 19, 2013

Rick Joyner is one of my favorite Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ especially in the realm of Christian Prophecy. In shame I have to admit I have not visited his Ministry website in some time – Morning Star Ministries. A friend of mine forwarded an article by Rick Joyner from about a month ago. The article is uncharacteristically political in nature. That got my attention because Joyner messages are usually prophetic in nature. In fact the political nature of his article pushes the envelope on what is acceptable by a persecuting IRS that has been taxed by the Obama Administration to target Conservatives. I have to be honest the tentacles of the Obama Administration have not been discovered YET in the IRS directive to target Obama political enemies; however I am one that does not believe for a minute the Obama Administration if not the President himself released IRS dogs against Conservative organizations such as Tea Party organizations.

Joyner is a bit controversial because mainstream Christians are a bit skeptical of ministries that have a prophetic slant in their work for the Lord. Frankly that wariness is justified for there have been and are flimflam preachers that exploit false prophecy and fake healing for self-aggrandizement in the realm of profit.

Personally I believe Joyner and his ministry provides a New Testament purpose in prophecy for the body of Christ in edification. Yeah I am one of those tongue talkers. Hence I place great stalk in the New Testament Gifts of the Spirit. Pertaining to prophecy here is the Scriptural measuring stick:

14 1 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. 2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. 3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. 5 I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for[a] he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification.

6 But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching? 7 Even things without life, whether flute or harp, when they make a sound, unless they make a distinction in the sounds, how will it be known what is piped or played? 8 For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle? 9 So likewise you, unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air. 10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of languages in the world, and none of them is without significance. 11 Therefore, if I do not know the meaning of the language, I shall be a foreigner to him who speaks, and he who speaks will be a foreigner to me. 12 Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel.

13 Therefore let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret. 14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding. 16 Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will he who occupies the place of the uninformed say “Amen” at your giving of thanks, since he does not understand what you say?17 For you indeed give thanks well, but the other is not edified.

18 I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all; (Bold Emphasis Mine – 1 Corinthians 14: 1-18 NKJV)

Knowing this about my beliefs which I am certain I will receive a load of criticism for, below is a decent description of Rick Joyner:

Shortly after becoming a Christian in 1972, Rick Joyner began having “prophetic experiences” that he felt compelled to share with others. These visions have had a tremendous spiritual impact on thousands of people, and now many within contemporary renewal and revival movements consider him a modern-day prophet.

As Rick explains in his introduction to The Final Quest, “In early 1995, the Lord gave me a dream, which was the first of a number of prophetic experiences tied together. I published a condensed version of the first dream in The Morning Star Prophetic Bulletin and The Morning Star Journal, under the title ‘The Hordes of Hell Are Marching.’ As I continued to seek the Lord about this great spiritual battle that I had seen, I had a series of visions and prophetic experiences that were related to it.” Deluged with requests to publish all three parts together, Rick expanded the original versions into a book, The Final Quest. Just before it was printed, Rick had another prophetic vision, and this never-before-published material was also included. His allegorical dream includes an encounter with Jesus in Heaven and a detailed account of the last battle between light and darkness.

Recent releases from Joyner include The Vision–a 2-in-1 volume featuring The Call and The Final Quest; Shadows of Things to Come–a reminder of what God has done through the church and mistakes we can learn from; Breaking the Power of Evil–an exposé on the insidious cruelty of jealousy, fear, racism, poverty, and religious spirits; and Overcoming Evil in the Last Days in which he exposes today’s evils of racism, witchcraft, and religious spirits; and charges the church to stand fast. The Harvest, Prophetic Ministry, and There Were Two Trees in the Garden have all been released in audio book format; The Final Quest has been translated into Spanish.

Rick’s continued prophecies—particularly those stressing his viewpoints on the rapture, the return of Christ, and other end-times events—as well as his predictions that the church will be divided by a coming “spiritual civil war” and his ties to the teachings of Bob Jones, the “Kansas City Prophets,” and charismatic movements like the Toronto Blessing, have made him a controversial figure with some Christians. But Rick, who rarely refers to himself as a prophet, remains steadfast in his ministry. In a live Internet interview on http://www.hispraise.com, he said, “I think the most important thing we can do for the skeptics is just believe ourselves and walk in faith ourselves. I think when they see the fruit, that more than anything else will turn the heart of the skeptics.” And in The Final Quest, he rejects suggestions by some that his visions supercede the authority of God’s Word. “I must state emphatically that I do not believe that any kind of prophetic revelation is for the purpose of establishing doctrine. We have the Scriptures for that…At times I have questioned my own memory for certain details in this vision, and I think that you should therefore have the liberty to do the same…Only the Scriptures deserve to be considered infallible.”

Despite criticism, Rick’s visions have brought many to tears of repentance, and his Morning Star Ministries continue to ignite fires of revival. A former commercial pilot who now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife and two children, Rick is currently pastor of Morning Star Fellowship Church and executive director of Morning Star Publications. He’s the author of numerous books, including The Call, The Harvest, There Were Two Trees in the Garden, The Journey Begins, and Prophetic Vision for the 21st Century. (Meet Rick Joyner; ChristianBook.com)

In the interest of being fair here is a link that is determined to label Joyner a false prophet. My position on that link is this guy is taking out of context much of what Joyner has actually said or wrote then matching the out of context analysis with Scriptures that match the link writer’s perception. You can form your own opinion.

Regardless of what you believe about prophetic ministries or just Rick Joyner, this June message is something more Christian Preachers should have the gumption to share with Christians. You really should read it!

A Time For Courage

By Rick Joyner

June 12, 2013

MorningStar Prophetic Bulletin #78

As the revelations of the last few weeks now make abundantly clear, our freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and our freedom of religion may have never been in greater jeopardy than they are right now. The remainder of this year will likely determine whether we will remain a free people or succumb to a terrible tyranny.

The scandals around Benghazi, the attacks on the press, and the IRS being used to target political enemies are some of the most shocking Federal Government overreaches in our history. Now we find these are only “the tip of the iceberg” of the assault on our freedoms and our basic privacy.

The revelation that the NSA has the capacity to monitor and store all phone calls, emails, text messages, social network posts, virtually all communications in America, and very soon the world, is so shocking that it is hard for many to believe. Already the power of our Federal Government to impose totalitarian control over its people is the greatest in history. The Administration maintains that their intentions are noble, regardless of the growing mountain of evidence to the contrary. Only the most naïve or ignorant believe that. Even if their motive is for security reasons, is that not the argument every other totalitarian regime in history used to gain control? Even if this Administration’s intent is noble, what about those Administrations which follow?

All of these revelations and scandals are far beyond anything we have ever witnessed. They are coming at us so fast that people may go numb and just shut down. In the Book of Daniel, the devil’s strategy is to attempt to “wear out the saints,” and this has always been an effective strategy. However, now is not the time to shut down and throw up our hands declaring that this is too much to process. Everything we hold dear as Americans, our most basic liberties, are in serious jeopardy. It is time for courage and our most resolute determination that this is not going to happen on our watch, and that we will never give up. It is not too late.

The Three Important Questions

There are three crucial questions to ask in any crisis: What is happening? What is not happening? What can I do about it? These were first stated by the U.S. Army Colonel made famous in the book and movie We Were Soldiers. In the first U.S. Army battle against a regular North Vietnamese Army, Colonel Moore used these questions to lead his force through what looked like impossible odds to ultimate victory. It was then adapted for the U.S. Army Manual as a commander’s basis for evaluating a crisis. We will use it here.

What is Happening?

o   The Federal Government has built an unprecedented apparatus for monitoring its own citizens that is virtually total.

o   The IRS was used extensively to harass and silence the political opposition of the Obama Administration.

o   Evidence is surfacing that the DOJ, EPA, and other agencies were used for the same purpose.

o   The Administration has illegally seized the communications of journalists who were probing the Administration’s activities.

o   The level of the Administration’s lies and attempts to cover up what happened at Benghazi makes it clear that something extremely important is being hidden from the American people.

What is Not Happening?

o   The Democratic Party has not awakened to how much its future is in jeopardy by what is unfolding. Its legacy could forever be destroyed by the level of overreach, scandal, and incompetence now surfacing in the Obama Administration. Democratic Party leaders and members continue to defend these indefensible actions as if they are already controlled by information of threats against them.

o   The news media remains asleep, blind, or neutralized so that it is only tepidly covering what is shaping up to possibly be the biggest issues of our lifetime. As this is the biggest threat to the freedom of the press, more people are wondering if that freedom has not already been lost.

o   With but a few exceptions, the Republican leadership in Congress is failing to demonstrate the kind of courage, resolve, and wisdom to lead us through this crisis that threatens the very foundations of our Republic.

o   The majority of the American people are not waking up, but they are starting to stir.

o   More people are becoming deeply alarmed, but they are not hearing a clear trumpet call to know how or where to rally.

What Can We Do About It?

o   We must each resolve that regardless of the personal consequences, we will seek to know the truth, and we will stand for truth without compromise.

o   An eagle needs a left wing and a right wing to fly. The issues now facing us are bigger than many of the liberal and conservative issues we’ve been fighting over. Though we must never compromise our convictions, we must learn to fight together as Americans when facing these ultimate issues of our basic freedom.

o   The unprecedented Federal overreach is, at least to a degree, the result of the States abdicating their rights under the Constitution to the Federal Government. Leadership at the State level, especially Governors and State Attorneys General, could be the most important positions in the unfolding battle for our freedom.

o   Blog, write, and speak every chance you get. Blogging has now surpassed the traditional media as the source of information for most Americans. Social Media is now more powerful in shaping public opinion than traditional media. Use it! Don’t worry about who is monitoring it—preach to them too!

o   Get engaged. Go to town hall meetings. Write to your elected officials often. Run for office. Work in campaigns. Donate time, money, and other resources. If we don’t give it freely now, it will be taken from us soon.

o   Don’t stop because we don’t seem to have quality leaders at this time—we have the greatest leader of all—King Jesus. He is the Truth, and all who love Truth will follow Him, regardless of the consequences, regardless of whether anyone else joins us.

o   We must live by faith, not by fear. When the odds seem impossible is the time when the greatest leaders have arisen and the greatest miracles have been done. This is our time, and we must resolve that we will never, ever retreat or give up.

KEY STRATEGY

It’s understandable that Congress does not want to sound too shrill or too reactionary, but to proceed in a sound and systematic way in the face of these serious issues. However, Congress has limited power to investigate and has proven willing to abdicate that power and cave in to Administration pressure or intransigence. Trust in the Government and our leadership will continue to erode if reputable independent prosecutors need to be appointed for each of the major issues addressed above.

That being said, the center of gravity for the fight to preserve our liberty must be taken out of Washington. State Attorneys General have the authority to prosecute any crime committed in their State and against their citizens. With criminal charges, the power to take depositions under oath from employees and the management of these government agencies is the best way to get to the truth of who is responsible for this tyrannical use of police state tactics, the abuse of power, and the illegal seizure of property, information, and communications.

With the dearth of leadership now being demonstrated on the Federal level, there are some remarkable and courageous leaders arising in the States. If State Governors and Attorneys General take the lead in this crisis, they will no doubt take back much of the authority given to the States by the Constitution that has been usurped by the Federal Government. This balance, which is essential for the preservation of the Republic, can be restored. There are key Governors and Attorneys General already taking up this strategy. We must get behind them any way we can.

Zimmerman Gives Obama a Diversion from Scandal Scrutiny

BHO-Zimmerman

John R. Houk

© July 16, 2013

George Zimmerman was acquitted by a Florida jury of murdering Trayvon Martin. I agree with that verdict. There should be NOTHING controversial about Zimmerman defending himself from a scrappy 17 year old teenager (DEFINITELY NOT A CHILD) one year away from being an enfranchised voting citizen that if so chosen could have entered military service.

I was not there when Martin and Zimmerman became combatants; however I did watch a significant amount of the trial on TV as I am sure many of you did. The Prosecution was NOT even close to proving that Zimmerman was guilty of a racist murder.

Nonetheless Black advocacy groups and individuals – including the President of the United States – could not handle the evidence (or would that be the truth). Black advocacy and Leftist interests insist a civil rights violation must have occurred because Martin was a Black-American. The intentional blindness even went so far as to suggest that Hispanic-American (The Zimmerman boys have a Peruvian mother) George Zimmerman was a White-Hispanic.

Now I am fully aware there are Hispanic people that display a Caucasian color tone. I am not a biological anthropologist, ethnologist, eugenicist or whatever-cist; nonetheless when the MSM creates genetic name of an individual to stir up racist anger among Blacks and Leftists it is definitely reprehensible. If there is racial description based on color in the confrontation between Martin and Zimmerman, it would be Black vs. Brown. If the MSM really wanted to be egalitarian in the Martin-Zimmerman case they should have stirred up racist hate between both Black-Americans and Hispanic-American. Al Sharpton and Barack Obama should be having Civil Rights condemnation speeches with Justice Sonia Maria Sotomayor (oops she’s a Leftist) and Raul Yzaguirre (La Raza – The Race).

That’s not going to happen though. Democrats are cultivating Hispanics – legal and illegal – to strengthen their voter base. AND Obama needs a National debate to hoodwink Americans to the Leftist line of thinking to shut-up Conservatives pertaining to the real problem in American government; i.e. the Obama Administration’s multitudinous scandals such as Fast & Furious, Benghazigate, the IRS tool to attack Conservative organizations, the NSA snooping on ALL Americans contrary to the 4th Amendment and probably some scandals I can’t think of as I am writing this.

As long as Obama can keep the focus on George Zimmerman with the help of the MSM, Conservative Media, Black Organization and Black Activists, and Leftist Democrats – Obama has longer to figure how to cover his unconstitutional and illegal activities with the scandals that were making a dent in his legitimacy as POTUS.

Black-American Attorney General Eric Holder is doing his part because he is involved in potential illegalities along with Obama.

Earlier today Robert Zimmerman, brother of George Zimmerman, told Bill Hemmer on America’s Newsroom that the Zimmerman family has concerns that their phones may be tapped by this administration due to the ongoing investigation of George Zimmerman after his acquittal last week. Robert said the family is texting George and not calling him so that they don’t give away his location.

This afternoon during his speech to the NAACP Attorney General Eric Holder told the audience that the Zimmerman case was still open and the investigation was ongoing.

“I want to assure you of two things, I as a parent, am concerned about this case. And, as we confirmed last spring, the Justice Department has an open investigation into it. While that inquiry is ongoing, I can assure you the Department of Justice will consider all available information before determining what action to take.”

I Consider Snowden a Hero-Whistleblower – For Now

Edward Snowden with quote on NSA

John R. Houk

© June 10, 2013

I have been a fan of the Patriot Act since its inception because of my disgust of Islamic terrorists in this post-9/11 era. I’m all for the quick search warrants from the FISA courts as managed through the Patriot Act to get terrorists before a plan is executed to murder Americans just because they are Americans.

Now that it has become apparent the Obama Administration has highly politicized the Executive Branch to the point that opponents of Obama’s agenda are being intimidated. Scandals such as the IRS, Benghazigate – information was purposefully warped including bad decisions on a rescue based on Obama reelection politics and secret policy decisions that Obama opponents would definitely oppose, the Fast and Furious scandal is another indication of stupid policy execution that cost lives rather than protect lives and now thanks to a whistleblower We the People are aware that the National Security Agency – SA HERE and HERE (NSA) snoops on ALL Americans via phone and Internet ending American’ treasured right of privacy from a Big Brother government (Conspiracy King David Icke has put together an in your face series of link summaries about the NSA and snooping).

Proponents of the NSA’s snooping on Americans say the Patriot gives that secret agency the authority to invade ALL privacy to catch terrorists. Was that what the Patriot Act designed to do? I thought the Patriot Act was designed at best to snoop on potential terrorist activity on a foreign and domestic basis? Are ALL Americans potential terrorists under the Patriot Act?

As long as the Patriot Act has a narrow agenda domestically I do not have a problem with it. On the other hand if the Patriot Act casts a wide net over every single American when the agenda should just be limited potential terrorists. Casting a wide net makes every single American a potential terrorists whether that person is Left, Center or Right. This makes the Patriot Act a political tool by whoever is in power in the White House.

Since I am considerably slanted toward the Right my two-cents is that the NSA scandal should be the last straw of credibility for the Obama Administration. The President that won his Office originally in 2008 on part of a platform that promised a transparent government is a liar. Obama is definitely not transparent. When Obama promised transparency the implication was that President Bush was not transparent to the American people. If Bush was not transparent by successfully protecting Americans from experiencing another 9/11-style attack, what does that mean about Obama’s transparency with scandal after scandal beginning with the moronic Foreign Policy of apologizing for America’s existence followed by dismantling Bush’s agreement with Poland to set-up an umbrella anti-missile system designed for Iran but struck fear in Russia? Forgive me if I forget a few scandals. Then Obama refused to reinforce the U.S. southern border with Mexico. Not only did this allow the flow illegal aliens who use American social services undeservedly but it also meant Mexican drug cartels had free access to American communities which also means Islamic terrorists that have partnered with drug cartels have free access. And of course there was Fast and Furious which the brilliant Obama Administration armed drug cartels under the dopey concept of tracking weapons – oops, Border Agents were killed by that transaction. Then the scandal dominoes began to fall quicker. Benghazigate is still in the cover-up stage. The Obama Administration targeting political opponents via the IRS is still in cover-up phase. AND of course there will be some cover-up goings-on about the NSA spying on Americans just because they believe they can.

Now I could change my mind on Edward Snowden as a hero whistleblower. What could change my mind? If Snowden is proven to have released classified information to harm the USA and/or to harm American troops and harm espionage activities abroad that typically benefit American National Interests then Snowden needs to be prosecuted as a traitor. For example Bradley Manning released classified information to Wikileaks that broadcast secret diplomatic cables from Embassies back to Washington. Those cables are secret because the writers of those cables need candor that might prove embarrassing if a foreign nation – especially and ally – discovers the classified content. Also thanks to Manning military personal have been compromised by exposing tactics that are used to defeat the enemy in battle. That makes Manning a traitor. If Snowden’s whistleblowing is in the same Manning-light then he is a traitor. HOWEVER, if Snowden’s whistleblowing was under the motivation to let Americans know their Constitutional Rights were being abused by the U.S. Government then Snowden is a hero and should be provided whistleblower immunity. If whistleblower immunity leads to the prosecution of those responsible who tried to hide behind the Patriot Act to break Constitutional rule of law then Edward Snowden should be given a Medal.

Manning 2.0? Former NSA consultant behind massive US surveillance leak

Published time: June 09, 2013 23:15
Edited time: June 10, 2013 19:09

RT.com

The source behind the leak of the top-secret NSA surveillance program – one of the most significant leaks in US history – has been revealed. A 29-year-old former CIA contractor Edward Snowden has fled to Hong Kong to avoid the fate of Bradley Manning.

Follow RT’s LIVE UPDATES on NSA leak fallout

The former technical assistant for the CIA and current employee of the defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton, had asked the Guardian to reveal his identity and had never planned on hiding.

“I have no intention of hiding who I am because I know I have done nothing wrong,” he said in an interview.

Snowden predicts that the government will launch an investigation against him, however it was “a matter of principle” for him because he believes that the people should know how the government intrudes into their privacy. According to Snowden he acted out of a desire to protect “basic liberties” and to “send a message to government that people will not be intimidated.”

“I can’t in good conscience allow the US government to destroy privacy, internet freedom and basic liberties for people around the world with this massive surveillance machine they’re secretly building,” said the whistleblower.

Snowden leaked top-secret documents to The Guardian that included the existence of a US National Security Agency’s extensive spying program called PRISM (SlantRight Editor: Wikipedia on PRISM). The program was designed to collect information about digital communications allowing real-time online surveillance of US citizens.

According to the leaked information it gives “direct access” to files from the servers of major internet companies including Google and Facebook. The spying program was allegedly targeted to identify “folks who might engage in terrorism,” according to US president Barack Obama, who noted that American citizens  should be prepared to trade some of their freedoms for more safety.

Snowden said he is willingly sacrificing his very comfortable life with a family he loves and a stable career with a salary of around $200,000. “My sole motive is to inform the public as to that which is done in their name and that which is done against them.”

A former MI5 agent Annie Machon believes that Snowden will be the first of a series of modern whistleblowers who learnt from the terrible tragedy of the Bradley Manning case.

“The way he has run the whole exposure and disclosure of the crimes of the NSA and what they are doing against the American people and the rest of the world people has been very sophisticated. And I take heart from that. The fact that he has fled the USA, he is now in Hong Kong. The fact that he has been working with journalists of Glenn Greenwald’s caliber,” Machon told RT. “I think it’s been very, very well done. I would call this Whistleblowing 2.0.”

The revelation of the whistleblowers identity comes after NSA filed a leak investigation report on Sunday to the Justice Department for it to launch a criminal case into the breach of security. The leaks also come amid US Army Private Bradley Manning’s trial on charges of transmitting classified materials connected with US military operations abroad to the WikiLeaks website. The Obama administration has aggressively pursued whistleblowers and Snowden expects the government to pursue him, however he states that he “is not afraid , because this is the choice I’ve made.”

Whistleblower’s asylum of choice?

Until three weeks ago Snowden worked in a NSA office in Hawaii. There he made final preparations, copied the final set of documents he planned to leak and on May 20 boarded a flight to Hong Kong. At work he explained that he needed time off for treatment for epilepsy, a condition he was diagnosed with last year.

Snowden told the paper that he chose Hong Kong because it is the place that could and would “resist the dictates of the US government” and the city has “a spirited commitment to free speech and the right of political dissent.”

He has been living in a hotel ever since and only left the room about three times during his entire stay as he is afraid of being spied on.

“I could be rendered by the CIA. I could have people come after me. Or any of the third-party partners. They work closely with a number of other nations. Or they could pay off the Triads. Any of their agents or assets,” he said. “We have got a CIA station just up the road – the consulate here in Hong Kong – and I am sure they are going to be busy for the next week.”

“And that is a concern I will live with for the rest of my life, however long that happens to be.”

Snowden anticipates that he will be charged with breaking the Espionage Act and helping the enemies, “but that can be used against anyone who points out how massive and invasive the system has become” the whistleblower notes.

‘Most CIA secrets are about people, not machines or systems’

Snowden was discharged from the army after a training accident, and got a job as a security guard at the NSA facility at the University of Maryland in College Park. His next role was with the CIA on IT security. In 2007 he was stationed in Geneva, Switzerland, where he maintained computer network security for the CIA.

“Much of what I saw in Geneva really disillusioned me about how my government functions and what its impact is in the world,” he told The Guardian. “I realized that I was part of something that was doing far more harm than good.”

Snowden said that in Switzerland the idea of leaking government information first came to mind, however he hoped that the election of Barack Obama in 2008 would reform the government’s policy.

“Most of the secrets the CIA has are about people, not machines and systems, so I didn’t feel comfortable with disclosures that I thought could endanger anyone.”

Within the next three years he came to the conclusion that the NSA’s surveillance would soon, ultimately, pose an “existential threat to democracy.” He chose to blow the whistle in spite of the risks involved.

“I don’t  want to live in a world where there’s no privacy and therefore no room for intellectual exploration and creativity” the whistleblower told the paper.

“That is not something I am willing to support or live under.”

“In Dulles UAL lounge listening to 4 US intel officials saying loudly leaker & reporter on #NSA stuff should be disappeared recorded a bit,” the Atlantic’s Washington-based editor-at-large Steve Clemons tweeted on Sunday.

According to Clemons, four men sitting next to him at the airport “were loud. Almost bragging” while discussing an intelligence conference they had just attended hosted by the Intelligence and National Security Alliance.

Clemens said he was unsure of the men’s identities or which agency they worked for, and told the Huffington Post that one of them was wearing “a white knit national counter-terrorism center shirt.” Clemons also recorded part of their conversation and snapped some photos, hoping that “people in that bz will know them.”

“But bad quality,” he noted about the quality of the photos. “Was a shock to me and wasn’t prepared,” he wrote on Twitter.

Clemons’ post immediately went viral, and his Twitter account was flooded with responses.

While some users were anxious to learn more details and hear the conversation, others lashed out at the blogger, saying he should have verified the information before posting it.

@SCClemons @BillBindc I would not tweet if I was not sure, given the seriousness of the topic at this time. No? Credibility involved. (Ibid. as in above Twitter Quote)

Clemons said his view on the “disappear” part was that the statement was one of “bravado” and a “joke” – but a very “disturbing” one. He said he felt obligated to make it public because he thought the speakers were senior intelligence officers.

It was a “disconcerting set of comments offered in public,” Clemons explained.

@AlwaysThinkHow @msnbcDisrupt I think you ask legitimate question. I posted as these were senior intel folks joking about disappearances (Ibid)

The blogger judged the speakers’ profession from the “context” of their conversation, as well as from the shirt one of them was wearing.

Clemons is now working on an article detailing the conversation, but he said he will not publish it or the recording until he identifies the speakers and offers them a “fair chance to clarify” their remarks.

Clemons has claimed that another person present at the time of the alleged conversation emailed him with the “same interpretation and concern” of the conversation.

Snowden on tweet: ‘I am a spy and that is how they talk’

The source behind the revelation of the top-secret NSA surveillance program, dubbed one of the most significant intelligence leaks in US history, was uncovered late last week. Snowden, a former CIA technical contractor and NSA consultant, had asked the Guardian to reveal his identity. He has fled to Hong Kong in a bid to escape retaliation by the US.

“The NSA has built an infrastructure that allows it to intercept almost everything. With this capability, the vast majority of human communications are automatically ingested without targeting. If I wanted to see your emails or your wife’s phone, all I have to do is use intercepts. I can get your emails, passwords, phone records, credit cards,” Snowden told the Guardian.

When asked for his reaction to the alleged comments that reporter Glenn Greenwald and the 29-year-old leaker himself should be “disappeared,” Snowden told the newspaper: “Someone responding to the story said ‘real spies do not speak like that.’ Well, I am a spy and that is how they talk. Whenever we had a debate in the office on how to handle crimes, they do not defend due process – they defend decisive action. They say it is better to kick someone out of a plane than let these people have a day in court. It is an authoritarian mindset in general.”

Snowden earlier explained that he had sacrificed his life and $200,000-a-year career out of his desire to protect “basic liberties” in order to “send a message to government that people will not be intimidated.”

The whistleblower leaked top-secret documents that revealed the existence of the US National Security Agency’s extensive Internet spying program PRISM, which records digital communications and allows for real-time online surveillance of US citizens. PRISM apparently gives US intelligence agencies direct access to files stored on the servers of major Internet companies – including Google and Facebook – in order to identify and target potential terror suspects.

CORRUPT

Case Against Holder

Prosecute Holder Lying - Yes or No

Justin Smith writes about the Scandals that have discredited and probably point to felony crimes perpetrated by Attorney General Eric Holder. Justin somewhat takes the approach of they get what they deserve toward a Free Press investigation of the Associated Press (AP). As a Conservative I feel like joining Justin and say “Waaaa” because the Liberal AP’s hero – the Obama Administration – turned on them. On the other hand if the AP begins to push back against Holder and his boss Obama I have no doubt other Left Media Outlets would follow the AP’s lead. And since Holder also signed warrants to investigate Fox News and their correspondent James Rosen (and Rosen’s parents) Obama might be in some actual trouble with other scandals that have popped up. And who knows – with scrutiny now placing Obama and minions under a microscope perhaps more nefarious scandals will come to light.

CORRUPT

Justin Facebook Notes

For the past two decades, the bulk of the liberal press, such as the Associated Press, The New York Times and The Washington Post, have removed any pretense of being anything else other than a partner of the Progressive Democrats and their communist, anti-American agenda. They have failed to censure Attorney General Eric Holder… the most corrupt person in the most corrupt administration in American history… when he misused his power regarding the 1965 Voter Act and the Black Panthers, during the Fast and Furious ATF/Mexican gun-running scandal, in immigration matters and in numerous terrorism cases. They have lost any semblance of fairness and journalistic integrity, as they have failed on numerous occasions to fulfill their essential role to serve the Truth and the American people. So, it is hard for me to give a sincere damn over the AP’s plight, now that they have been targeted by an unrestrained Holder Justice Department and cried “Foul!”

The AP’s trouble began after they printed a story on May 7, 2012 about a foiled Al Qaeda terrorist plot in Yemen to bomb an airliner. The AP held the story for five days before finally receiving CIA clearance to run it; then the AP was asked to hold it one more day, because the White House wanted to release it first. The AP declined, since national security was not the issue.

Although innocent in the 2012 case, the AP has long attacked America’s national character and our American Heritage, and much too often they have given aid and comfort to America’s enemies. In 2005 the AP followed The New York Times lead and pushed a story that disrupted a program monitoring cell phones that Al Qaeda had bought in Switzerland, and six months later, they both exposed a program that tracked funding for terror attacks!

Holder said that the leak connected to the 2012 AP case “put the American people at risk”, but the facts point towards politics and this administration’s need to make the facts fit their narrative, especially since the records sweep went far beyond any one news article. Laura Malone, general counsel for the AP, released a letter from Ronald Machen, U.S. attorney, that detailed the seizure of “all such records for, among other phone lines, an AP general phone number in New York City as well as AP bureaus in NYC, Washington-DC, Hartford-CT and the House of Representatives; more than 100 journalists work in these offices (AP), and many of these bureaus and reporters had no connection to the leaked story.

Under normal circumstances, the Department of Justice is required to give advance notification to news organizations, in order that they may have time to have any forthcoming subpoena halted by a judge. However, regulations also allow for exceptions, in which case journalists must be notified within 90 days.

In June 1971, The New York Times started publishing a series of damaging internal documents, “The Pentagon Papers”, provided by Pentagon analyst Daniel Ellsberg and also partially published by The Washington Post. Solicitor General Erwin Griswold argued before the Supreme Court that the publication of the papers would effect the nation’s security adversely. And, while Justice Hugo Black held that the government could not stop such publications of illegally gained documents, the government could still constitutionally try, convict and punish editors for violating the Espionage Act if they did publish classified material; no one has a constitutionally protected right to publish the U.S. governments secret documents.

Eric Holder described the AP article as among “the top two or three most serious leaks that I’ve ever seen” in a 35 year career, and yet, this is the same man who dropped charges against former DOJ lawyer Thomas Tamm; Tamm leaked information to The New York Times, during George W’s administration, about a wiretapping program designed to intercept terrorist calls between high level Al Qaeda operatives in Pakistan and their contacts in the U.S.; a vital program was compromised, the Times received the Pulitzer Prize, and thanks to Holder, Tamm suffered no consequences!

Currently, New York Times journalist David Sanger is thought to be the focus of the investigation of disclosures made about a joint American-Israeli effort to sabotage the Iranian nuclear weapons program, which obviously crosses a red-line. Also, Sheryl Attkisson, CBS reporter, suspects the DOJ of hacking into her computer; and, while James Rosen has been a known target of the Holder DOJ, typically past administrations, including George W’s, have focused on those who violated their oath to protect classified information.

Sheryl Attkisson, CBS reporter, is only one of hundreds who believe that they have come under the scrutiny of Eric Holder. She has repeatedly asked Obama tough questions on Fast and Furious, Benghazi and the IRS. She has performed the job of a reporter, in the manner it was meant to be done. So now, the liberal media have dubbed her “the Pit Bull” and accused her of having a political agenda… as if they don’t… for reporting proven facts!

James Rosen, Fox News reporter, was labeled a possible “co-conspirator” and defamed then in 2010 and now as the story resurfaces, simply because he reported on a planned missile launch by North Korea in response to the UN Security Council’s condemnation of its nuclear tests. The “classified” status of this information was dubious at best, since the North Korean leadership was already screaming about it to anyone who would listen.

Eric Holder grossly abused his position, power and the law in the manner in which he applied the Espionage Act in order to investigate James Rosen. As he took this case to three different judges before receiving approval for a warrant, he also had to make a leap into fantasy to get from Mr. Rosen’s so-called crime of “employing flattery and playing to Mr. Kim’s (Stephen Jin-Woo Kim, State Dept security advisor) vanity and ego” to an “aider and abettor and/or co-conspirator” in the leak. And, Holder outright lied before the House Judiciary Committee repeatedly, as he replied, “I don’t know” to any question pertaining to this investigation and whether or not he ever sought to “personally prosecute any journalist” under the Espionage Act; on May 22, NBC News reported Eric Holder personally signed off on the search warrant, which reportedly even included monitoring the phone lines of Rosen’s parents in Staten Island: Attorney General Eric Holder must be fired and criminally prosecuted!

If the House Judiciary Committee determines that Eric Holder lied under oath, he is gone… he should have been dismissed long ago on Fast and Furious alone. Until then he will remain, because he is a personal friend of Barack Obama, who believes that Holder is a vital agent in the “fundamental transformation” of America; however, Obama has shown no reluctance in the past to cast aside anyone in his administration that he considered a liability to his agenda of creating a post-Constitutional America and an all powerful State.

From the very beginning, the Associated Press and other liberal media refused to thoroughly check the background of Obama and his associates or hold them accountable for a litany of unConstitutional acts, and now they are reaping what they have sowed. America has witnessed an administration that does not mind using its full weight of power to interfere with our First Amendment Rights on many levels, and one must doubt Obama’s sincerity when he states, “And I am troubled by the possibility that leak investigations may chill the investigative journalism that holds government accountable”; however, whatever the final judgment, journalists and government officials both are charged with the moral imperative to find the line and balance between national security and the people’s right to information. And, if Obama is really “concerned about information that could compromise their missions or might get them killed”, as he refers to Americans in hazardous posts, he should charge Holder with the mission to prosecute Vice-President Joseph Biden for leaking the information that made SEAL Team Six a primary target for Al Qaeda and ultimately led to the entire Team’s death!
