America Is Burning

Yesterday I posted “Dhimmi-Sharia Compliance in Tulsa OK”. The day before Justin Smith submitted “America Is Burning” but had not read the submission yet. My post was how a TPD Officer was fired for Social Media posts that occurred even before he was hired in Tulsa. He was fired by the combined actions of a local Leftist activist and Muslim Brotherhood-oriented CAIR. THAT LINES UP WITH Justin’s opinion piece “AMERICA IS BURNING”. IT DESERVES TO BE READ!!!!

America Is Burning

Yes — The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria [aka ISIS, ISIL or DAESH] has largely been defeated physically and militarily, but its ideas burn hot still in the hearts of millions of Muslims this very moment. And as everybody and his brother seems so overjoyed that ISIS leader Al Baghdadi was just killed by U.S. Special Forces and they are giving back-slaps over defending America from Islamic terrorism in an overseas arena, these same fools have essentially sold America out to the Muslims for decades now.

In every city across America today there is a second city comprised of Muslims who have superimposed their Sharia law over entire sections of those cities, such as Dearborn, Islamberg, Minneapolis and many others, as they run a parallel system antithetical to our Constitution and freedom.

This is an expansionist stage that no country has ever managed to overcome, because it is the only science in which the Sons of Allah have always excelled — invading, conquering and subjugating.

Islam’s most coveted prey has always been Europe and the Christian world, and now America is in its sights and within its grasp. Democrats are aligned with Islam and its anti-Christian, anti-Constitution, anti-freedom and anti-American agenda, and globalist communist black robed judges and justices are protecting their efforts and policies through the judiciary.

If one yells anti-American slogans today and calls Americans – especially supporters of Pres. Trump – fascists, murders and the enemy of humanity, all is fine and well and considered “normal” behavior and an act of virtue, by our Democratic Party, the enemy from within, collaborationists and traitors. However, use of such slurs towards Islam and one is pilloried and subjected to more name calling and castigation.

The truth comes into sharp focus when we see so-called “leaders” in America seeking to implement rules of censorship and hate-speech “law” similar to that which exists in the European Union to silence any free speech that counters their anti-American communist globalist plans, favoring America’s Muslim Brotherhood as their foot soldiers in the plan to end America’s republic, favoring the establishment of heresy and the end to free thinking in America.

One by one, U.S. cities are giving preference to Muslim minorities over Americans born and raised here and families whose ancestry sometimes goes all the way back to America’s founding days. Already, several U.S. states are largely controlled by a Democrat-Islamist alliance, seen in Minnesota, California and New York.

What sort of government attempts to prevent us from thinking and speaking, from going against the wind, rebelling against and opposing those who muzzle us and invade us, stamping our freedom in the ground? A tyranny and an insult to our democratic republic. It is a government of lies and deceit and one that must be pulled out by its damnable, blackmailing illiberal anti-American roots.

What sort of democratic republic is it that in place of listening to its people and being concerned for America’s children silences them and hands them to the enemy? One that will surely meet a dismal fate and be burned to the ground, sooner than later.

America is burning in the flames of Islam, a government within a government, from all four corners of this America I love so well. And it’s far past time to fight fire with fire, close America’s borders to Islam and defeat it with extreme prejudice, stamping its fire out and sending it back to the hell that spawned it.

Yet Another Aspiring Apparatchik Exploits Norway’s 9/11

Axel Fjeld

I just read a great article at PJ Media (formerly Pajamas Media) rebutting a European Leftist crying Islamophobe. Bruce Bawer speculates Axel Fjeld is trying to use his academic prowess to make his bones to get a job working in some form of lucrative European Leftist media.

Unfortunately for Fjeld, Bawer shows the racist-Islamophobe accusations against Counterjihad writers is based on barefaced lies.

Yet Another Aspiring Apparatchik Exploits Norway’s 9/11

This year I was not going to write about 7/22, often known as Norway’s 9/11. It is the date in 2011 on which Anders Behring Breivik bombed government buildings in Oslo, killing eight people, and then gunned down sixty-nine more, mostly kids, on the nearby island of Utøya. Famously, Breivik wrote – or rather cobbled together – a massive “manifesto” consisting mainly of material from various sources that he had cut and pasted. Most of it was critical of Islam, and it was apparently meant as a justification for his actions. But none of the people whose work he borrowed had ever called for violence, let alone violence against children.

Nevertheless, after 7/22, the Norwegian left was quick to insist on a linkage between Breivik and serious critics of Islam, and to argue, moreover, that those critics needed to be silenced in order to avoid any more such atrocities. For a while there things got pretty dicey, with prominent academics, authors, and politicians demanding strict limits on freedom of speech and stiff prison penalties for anyone violating those limits. In one op-ed after another, I saw my name, and that of other writers, dragged through the mud. I ended up writing an e-book about it, The New Quislings.

Eventually it all died down. But every now and then the whole ugly business flares up again, especially when an anniversary of 7/22 rolls around. Ambitious young ideologues who are eager to kick off a career in politics, writing, media, or the public sector have discovered that a splendid way to do so is to join the pile-on. It’s easy enough to pull off: the point is not to soberly challenge the arguments made by critics of Islam, or to say any[t]hing [sic] remotely original, but to name-call – to smear them as Islamophobes, racists, and “Eurabia conspiracy theorists.” (I’ll explain that last one in a minute.)

Meet Axel Fjeld. On July 25, the newspaper Bergensavisen published a long essay by the thirty-year-old, who is studying for his master’s degree in philosophy. The essay was entitled “Is it possible to stop racism?” Its targets were the usual ones. For example, Hans Rustad, editor of document.no, which runs Islam-related news and commentary. Describing document.no as “Breivik’s old hunting grounds” (because he, like thousands of others, used to read it), Fjeld deplores the fact that Rustad has been invited to take part in debates in mainstream media. Similarly, he complains that Fritt Ord, a free-speech foundation, awarded a stipend to the Islam critic Peder Are Nøstvold Jensen, a.k.a. Fjordman, whom Fjeld smears as a “genocide ideologist.” In the same way, recycling a years-old leftist gripe, Fjeld rebukes a certain former Aftenposten editor for having actually had a kind word to say about my 2006 book While Europe Slept.

Fjeld would have his readers believe that Rustad, Jensen, and I are all racists. He doesn’t make any effort to prove that we are. In fact we are not. I am not a racist, and I have never read a remotely racist word either at document.no or in Jensen’s voluminous writings. Fjeld, then, is barefaced liar. But this is how all of these people operate. We have the facts on our side. They have no good arguments for their position. So all they can do is hurl slurs. Moreover, even as they avoid representing our opinions fairly and honestly, they pretend that we have nothing reasonable to offer, and that they, in fact, are the reasonable ones. And why should reasonable people have to “debate” unreasonable people? As Fjeld puts it: “When we are tempted to debate rationally against opinions that are not based on reason, we cannot achieve anything other than to legitimize the irrational as something that is worth discussing.”

Fjeld pronounces it “unbelievable” that the likes of Rustad, Jensen, and me should be given air time or op-ed space in the mainstream Norwegian media. After all, those same media would never “waste time ‘debating’ people who think that the world is flat.” So why, he asks, should they welcome the voices of people who claim “that ‘Muslims are invading Europe,’ ‘it’s only Muslims who rape,’ or ‘dark-skinned people are on average less intelligent than light-skinned people’”? Frankly, I’ve never seen anybody in Norway make the ridiculous assertion that only Muslims commit rape; nor have I witnessed a Norwegian discussion of race and I.Q. (although I’m not discounting the possibility that this thoroughly legitimate question has come up at some point).

As for Muslims “invading Europe” – well, for heaven’s sake, Muslims are pouring into the continent, and the consequences are grim. Deny the obvious reality all you want, but no-go zones, forced marriages, honor killings, female genital mutilation, and “grooming gangs” exist. Muslim gangs commit rapes and burn cars. Muslim women experience the same oppression in Europe that they did in the Old Country. Muslim immigrants are bankrupting welfare states, resulting in severe cuts to education, elder services, and health care. Islamic terrorism is not a fantasy. European presidents and prime ministers may continue to mouth trite nonsense about the joys of diversity, but their intelligence services are busy monitoring countless terrorist cells and working overtime to keep down the number of jihadist atrocities. Try as hard as you want to connect Breivik to Islam critics, but the fact remains that none of those critics have ever endorsed violence, while Islamic terrorists are doing exactly what the Koran tells them to.

For the likes of Fjeld, to discuss any of this honestly is to be a racist, and should be against the law. He explicitly rejects the notion of “the liberal marketplace of ideas” – the belief that it’s healthy to allow the expression of all views, because in the end the strongest argument will win. His own position is that exposing people to what he labels “hate” will only make them less resistant to it. Translation: to allow cogent dissent from the dominant red-green orthodoxy is to risk toppling that orthodoxy. It’s Soviet thinking, pure and simple.

Oh, about that “Eurabia conspiracy theorist” business. I don’t know how many people have written books criticizing the rise of Islam in the West, but there are quite a few of us from a range of backgrounds. I assume that most, like me, started writing about the topic because they were observing changes that they found unsettling. If so many writers with such diverse histories are disturbed by the same phenomena, surely that must mean that there is, indeed, something going on out there that merits concern? Years ago, Norwegian leftists came up with a handy way to dodge this question, maintaining that we Islam critics, far from being individuals articulating our own ideas, are, instead, lockstep adherents of a conspiracy theory cooked up by Bat Ye’or, author of the 2005 book Eurabia. Never mind that many of us (myself included) started writing about Islam before we’d even heard of Bat Ye’or; if you read about us in the Norwegian papers – and this includes Fjeld’s article – you will see us identified as “Eurabia writers,” lockstep adherents of the “Eurabia conspiracy theory,” the essence of which is that there is, indeed, such a thing as jihad.

Fjeld’s article, in short, is a load of bunk – and an unoriginal load of bunk, at that. In The New Quislings I examined a series of articles by different writers all of whom seemed to be working from exactly the same list of talking points. That doesn’t mean that Fjeld has wasted his time. On the contrary, he’s put his name on the map. He’s made it clear to the powers that be that he’s a good soldier. He’s got the party line down cold, and is willing to spit it out, every bit of it, shamelessly dishonest though it is. As long as he keeps this up, Fjeld, with a little bit of luck, will go straight from grad school into a nice, cushy job at NRK (the state-run TV network), or as a columnist for one of the taxpayer-subsidized mainstream newspapers, or as a writer-researcher at some government ministry, or as an administrator at some tony cultural institution. That’s how the careers of his equally cynical predecessors have gone, anyway, once they’ve taken the obligatory high-profile swipe at critics of Islam: they all end up being well-paid apparatchiks. It will be interesting to see exactly which path Fjeld takes.

Exposing SPLC as Hate Group

John R. Houk

© September 3, 2017

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) got its start during the Civil Rights movement of the ‘70s. In those days the SPLC was a hero for targeting racist organizations such as the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), Neo-Nazi groups (e.g. Aryans and Skin Heads) and other racist hate groups. Good stuff, right?

Well the major victories of the Civil Rights movement at least on legal ground has leveled the playing field in the rule of law. Certainly racism still exists in America, but racial minorities have the law on their side to prevent racial exploitation on an overt basis. The racism that is growing now in the America is largely the result of Left-Wing groups stirring up strife with race-baiting in an effort to gain votes. Leftist race-baiting has been a political instrument for the last couple of decades to hinder traditional American values that began to regain sway with the Presidential Administrations of Reagan, Bush II and now populist Conservatism with the surprise election of President Donald Trump.

Since the Left can hardly believe they lost to President Trump, they have done everything to lie, obstruct and manufacture anti-Trump accusations ever since that first Tuesday in November 2016.

The SPLC is doing their part for the Left by labeling Biblical Family Values organizations as hate groups. There are several groups on the SPLC so-called hate list that are simply Biblical Christian or telling the truth about Islam that I am not going to name here. The Christian ones of interest to me are the Liberty Counsel (LC), Family Research Council (FRC) and American Family Association (AFA).

If I had time I could point out Counterjihad writers and organizations that simply expose the darker nature of Islam that the Left refuses to expose and way too many Conservatives are hesitant to expose out of fear of organizations like the SPLC labeling them Islamophobic haters.

For both Christians and Counterjihadists, the SPLC hate-labels are merely to turn the relatively uninformed public against what is correct and moral by calling the good as evil.

The Conservapedia entry for the SPLC provides a great synopsis of the organization’s hatred of all things American Patriotic, Christian and Counterjihad in the first couple of paragraphs – READ the entire entry:

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a far-Left legal and activist organization created in 1971 in Montgomery, Alabama. It was founded by trial lawyers Morris Dees and Joe Levin, and its first president was civil rights leader Julian Bond, who would later take control of the NAACP. SPLC supports a wide variety of liberal positions; it is pro-immigration (both legal and illegal), advocates multiculturalism and the homosexual agenda, supports Muslims and racial preferences and defendants’ rights, and advocates against what it considers “hate groups”. In 2012, Black pastors confronted the Southern Poverty Law Center for smearing as “hate groups” pro-family organizations opposed to the homosexual agenda.[1] Reverend Dr. Patrick Wooden admonished the SPLC in declaring that it is wrong to compare “my beautiful blackness” with homosexual perversion.[2]

The SPLC’s op-ed writings have appeared in the Communist Party USA‘s newspaper People’s World.[3] This “controversial, liberal organization” [4] has been criticized in mainstream press for being extravagant in its spending, and using charges of racism to stifle conservatives.[5] (Southern Poverty Law Center; Conservapedia; page was last modified on 21 July 2017, at 22:33)

The Liberty Counsel has been blistered by the SPLC so often that they have been the subject of multiple hate-accusations trying to discredit and ruin the Christian Family Values advocate organization. It has led Mat Staver to ask for legal defense aid several times a week to battle in civil suit beginning with NGO expert Guidestar that used the SPLC hate-list.

An article from 7/2/17 I found on American Civil Rights Union (ACRU not to be confused with Leftist ACLU):

Frustrated by its inability to win elections, the left is attempting to silence opponents through intimidation, either in the streets or in the courts.

The latest example is the hijacking of Guidestar USA by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

Guidestar is a database of more than 2 million nonprofit and non-governmental (NGO) organizations. It’s considered the foremost authority on nonprofits, and had a self-avowed reputation for “remaining neutral.”

That changed when a left-wing activist, Jacob Harold, came aboard in 2012. Mr. Harold, whose bio boasts of donating to the Obama campaign, extensive activism on behalf of climate change groups, and hosting a NARAL Pro-Choice D.C. men’s event, tweeted a photo of himself holding a sign protesting President Trump at the radical Women’s March in January.

Apart from Vermont ice cream magnates Ben and Jerry, it might be hard to find a more radically leftist major CEO. So it’s no wonder that Mr. Harold welcomed the Southern Poverty Law Center as an authority on “hate groups.” Using SPLC’s “hate map” as a resource, Guidestar smeared 46 organizations, many of them Christian, as “hate groups.”

The Southern Poverty Law Center has a long history of abusing nonprofits and individuals with whom they disagree. They tar innocent people and may have inspired at least two terrorist incidents. The SPLC’s “hate map” lumps Christian and conservative organizations with neo-Nazis, skinheads and other violence-prone groups. … (Silencing the Silencers; By Robert Knight; ACRU; 7/2/17)

And from Christianity Today:

A venerable Christian ministry based in Fort Lauderdale recently saw its name listed on a CNN map of “all the active hate groups where you live,” as well as in local news reports as the No. 1 hate group in Florida.

“Enough is enough,” said Frank Wright, president of D. James Kennedy Ministries, which filed a lawsuit against the SPLC on Wednesday. The organization also sued GuideStar and AmazonSmile for their use of the SPLC list.

… The SPLC recently received a prominent boost from Apple, which pledged a $1 million donation and will launch a new feature to allow users to donate directly from iTunes.

D. James Kennedy Ministries—formerly called Truth in Action—claims that the SPLC falsely labeled it as a hate group with the intention to hurt its reputation and fundraising efforts, according to a 39-page lawsuit filed in federal district court in Alabama (where the SPLC is headquartered).

The suit alleges that the ministry’s inclusion on the list of hate groups amounts to defamation—spreading false, harmful information—as well as a trademark violation, misrepresenting the ministry in order to drum up fundraising support. Wednesday’s filing made the same claims against the charity-research site GuideStar for promoting the SPLC designation, seeking an injunction against further use of the “hate group” label and damages from both organizations.

Wanting to call out “hateful rhetoric” during a “highly politicized moment,” GuideStar recently added the SPLC designations onto its profile pages—including for Christian nonprofits who stand for traditional marriage like the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), Liberty Counsel, the Family Research Council (FRC), and the American Family Association—then removed the hate labels after backlash in June. The controversy made many of these groups, their leaders, and their supporters even more upset over the prominence of the SPLC’s categorizations. (D. James Kennedy Ministries Sues SPLC over Hate Map; By KATE SHELLNUTT; Christianity Today; 8/24/17 10:20 AM)

From WND:

The case alleges that the defendants — online retailer Amazon, online charity reporting company Guidestar and SPLC — damaged the ministries by creating, publishing and promoting SPLC’s infamous “hate” designations.

The hate designations already have prompted a lawsuit by Liberty Counsel against Guidestar. And several organizations, including the Alliance Defending Freedom, have demanded broadcasters retract reports quoting SPLC’s hate designations.

The case seeks an award for “special harms from the SPLC” over the groups’ rejection by the AmazonSmile program due to the hate designations.

“It is the SPLC’s intent that the people who receive the information that SPLC publishes about the ministry will rely on SPLC’s information as fact and will base their charitable giving decisions on that information.”

For its part, GuideStar “knowingly accepts defamatory information from the SPLC regarding the ministry and knowingly, intentionally, and purposefully republishes that defamatory information with the intent that the people who receive the republished SPLC information from GuideStar will rely on that information as fact for the purpose of making their charitable giving decsisions [sic].”

The case alleges defamation against SPLC and GuideStar: “SPLC’s very purpose for placing the ministry on the Hate Map was to harm the reputation of the ministry as to lower it in the estimation of the community and to deter third persons from associating or dealing with the ministry.”

Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit that advocates for civil and religious rights, sued GuideStar over its use of SPLC’s “hate” labels, explaining the actions resulted in death threats to employees and other harm.

“Liberty Counsel has been forced to provide additional security because of the significant threat that GuideStar’s false and defamatory statement has caused. Violent extremists have relied on the false and defamatory statement to commit acts of terrorism and violence against innocent people who merely happen to hold a different viewpoint on certain issues than GuideStar,” Liberty Counsel said.

Liberty Counsel pointed out that SPLC “hate” designations already have been linked to two attempted mass murders: the attack by Corkins on the Washington office of Family Research Council and the shooting attack this summer near the capital that severely injured Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La. (LEFT-WING GROUPS SUED FOR VIOLATING CHRISTIANS’ CIVIL RIGHTS; By BOB UNRUH; WND; 8/22/17 8:39 PM)

From Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF):

SPLC’s word-weapon of choice is “hate.” It uses the H-word to harpoon victims through a “Hate Map” – a cluttered visual surrounded by sobering images such as a “hate-graph” and clenched fist symbols. Percentages purportedly communicating something really serious about “hate” assault the viewer’s senses in size 72 font.

The map’s approach is indiscriminate, by design. It mixes the likes of the KKK, “Racist Skinhead(s),” and “Neo-Nazi(s)” with groups holding traditional views of human sexuality. Quaint notions on the meaning of marriage, rooted in longstanding religious beliefs, receive special hostility. Never mind that less than 10 years ago nearly every major political figure in the country, including President Obama, said marriage was a union of one man and one woman. Many of those folks are given a pass, however, because their views on that issue have since “evolved.”

But the SPLC dictates – because it says so – that those who failed to evolve (some might say “retained their convictions”) are now the functional equivalent of skinheads. Just picture those scary traditional marriage types, roaming the streets with chains, looking for a good fight. This would be a ludicrous and even laughable attempt at equivalency, if not for the harm it does to people of good will (to say nothing of the damage to public discourse).

Fortunately, increasing numbers of independent commentators are calling out the SPLC for its outrageous tactics. But as someone once observed (the author is disputed), “a lie gets halfway around the world while truth is pulling its boots on.” (How the SPLC Uses the Word “Hate” to Silence Dissent; By Joseph Infranco; ADF; 8/21/17)

These efforts are beginning to cause a bit of Leftist worry. The American Family Association (AFA) posted this video on Youtube:

VIDEO: CNN Backs Down On Hate List

Mat Staver of the Liberty Counsel not only is involved in the civil suit against the SPLC, Guidestar and etc., but they are also publicizing some dirt on the SPLC to demonstrate how nefarious the Leftist organization is:

I have some breaking news on the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) that gives us a window of opportunity to expose the SPLC for what it is — a massive, money-making machine of the radical left that is aggressively targeting pro-faith and pro-family organizations.

On Thursday, The Washington Free Beacon exposed the SPLC’s ongoing practice of funneling many millions of dollars into offshore accounts, where it apparently is stockpiling vast sums of money.

+ + Why is the SPLC stockpiling millions overseas?

This practice of stockpiling millions of dollars in overseas, unregulated bank accounts is highly unusual for a U.S. non-profit and blows the SPLC’s cover as allegedly being a legitimate, grassroots organization. Instead, as Liberty Counsel has reported, the SPLC is a vast enterprise with hundreds of millions of dollars that is pushing an anti-faith, anti-family agenda that threatens every American’s liberties! Now that the SPLC’s unethical and unregulated “offshore” money has come to light, we must do everything in our power to fight back against their “fake hate” campaign and overcome their outrageous lies once and for all!

That’s why I’m asking for your help right now…

Over the past few weeks, the SPLC has blatantly “leveraged” the Charlottesville tragedy to expand its “fake hate” campaign. As I have been reporting, this has resulted in an AVALANCHE of attacks against Liberty Counsel and a massive increase in funding to the SPLC from commercial entities like Apple, JP Morgan, and others.

With this revelation of SPLC offshore bank accounts stockpiling millions of dollars, we must move quickly to expand our efforts to both expose the SPLC’s deceptions and defeat the SPLC’s attacks.

The SPLC is at the forefront of a very strategic effort to equate Christian and family values with “hate.”  Their attacks have multiplied in recent weeks. But right now, I believe we have a unique opportunity to both expose their lies and defeat the SPLC’s twisted strategy. I can’t do this without your help. Please take a moment right now to consider how you can help. And then go here to make your best possible gift. … (BREAKING: SPLC stashing millions offshore! (Liberty Counsel); By Mat Staver; Liberty Counsel Connect; 9/2/17 7:48 pm)

And I leave you with PJ Media piece on the hypocrisy of the SPLC.

Southern Poverty Law Center: ‘Our Aim in Life Is to Destroy These Groups, Completely’

By TYLER O’NEIL

SEPTEMBER 1, 2017

PJ Media

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has gained traction in recent weeks, but contrary to media reports, the group does not exist to “monitor hate groups” but to destroy groups that it targets for “strictly ideological” reasons. In light of large donations from Apple, J.P. Morgan, and George Clooney, and CNN’s favorable coverage of the SPLC, Americans should learn the real motivations behind this far-left organization.

In the words of SPLC former spokesman Mark Potok (who spent 20 years as a senior fellow at the SPLC and only retired this year, according to LinkedIn), the group does not exist to monitor hate groups.

“Sometimes the press will describe us as monitoring hate groups, I want to say plainly that our aim in life is to destroy these groups, completely destroy them,” Potok declared at an event in Michigan in 2007.

VIDEO: Mark Potok Speech 1

Mark Potok from the Southern Poverty Law Center Speaks at the 2007 MIAAHC Hate Crimes Conference

Potok reiterated this point at a Vermont school group in 2008. “You are able to destroy these groups sometimes by the things you publish,” he declared. “It’s not so much that they will bring down the police or the federal agents on their head, it’s that you can sometimes so mortally embarrass these groups that they will be destroyed” (emphasis added).

The SPLC “mortally embarrasses” groups by equating mainstream conservative, Christian, and other organizations with the Ku Klux Klan and white supremacists. Make no mistake, this is not a “hate group monitoring” organization, it’s a far-Left defamation racket that exists to target any group it disagrees with politically.

“We see this political struggle,” Potok added in his 2008 Vermont speech. “We’re not trying to change anybody’s mind. We’re trying to wreck the groups. We’re trying to destroy them. Not to send them to prison unfairly or to take their free speech rights away, but as a political matter to destroy them.”

In yet another 2008 speech, Potok explained the SPLC criteria for a “hate group.” The spokesman said, “Our criteria for a ‘hate group,’ first of all, have nothing to do with criminality, or violence, or any kind of guess we’re making about ‘this group could be dangerous.’ It’s strictly ideological” (emphasis added).

Here’s the criteria: “So we look at a group and we say, ‘Does this group, in its platform statements, or the speeches of its leader or leaders — Does this group say that a whole group of people, by virtue of their group characteristics, is somehow less?”

SPLC Warns of ‘Turmoil and Bloodshed’ With New Map Identifying Confederate Monuments, Cities, MIDDLE SCHOOLS

The SPLC’s actions have revealed what “group characteristics” means. The “hate group” list  features Christian organizations like D. James Kennedy Ministriesthe Family Research Council (FRC)Liberty Counsel, the American Family Association (AFA), and Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), along with other groups like the American College of Pediatricians and the Center for Immigration Studies. It also lists Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz and women’s rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali as “anti-Muslim extremists.”

If an organization disagrees with LGBT activism, it is a “hate group,” because in the eyes of the SPLC belief in traditional marriage equates to stigmatizing gay people. If an organization or an individual warns against radical Islamic terrorism, that person or group is “hateful” because in the eyes of the SPLC it has stigmatized all Muslims, even if the person is a Muslim himself.

In light of these revelations, it makes sense that D. James Kennedy MinistriesLiberty Counsel, and Maajid Nawaz have each filed defamation lawsuits against the SPLC.

The SPLC’s broad definition of a “hate group” is exceedingly important, because this “hate” labeling has inspired at least one terror attack.

In the summer of 2012, the SPLC’s “hate map” inspired Floyd Lee Corkins III to break into the Family Research Council (FRC), a Christian nonprofit in Washington, D.C. Corkins aimed to murder everyone in the building, and he later pled guilty to committing an act of terrorism. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

During an FBI interrogation, the terrorist said he targeted FRC because it was listed as an “anti-gay group” on the SPLC website.

While the SPLC took no responsibility for their hate map inspiring the FRC shooting and refused to remove the FRC from that hate map, the group did claim that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s political action committee released maps putting Democrats in Congress in crosshairs, inspiring the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Az.). PolitiFact rated the SPLC’s claim “false.”

Nor was the 2012 attack the only terrorist event involving the SPLC. Earlier this summer, Bernie Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson shot people at a Republican Congressional Baseball Game practice, nearly killing Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) Hodgkinson “liked” the SPLC on Facebook.

The group had repeatedly tarred Scalise for a speech he gave to a white supremacist group, even after Scalise apologized (and was called a “sellout” by former KKK leader David Duke).

This connection to terror is particularly troubling, considering the SPLC’s most recent “hate map” — a diagram showing every single Confederate monument across the United States, which also includes elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. The SPLC warned of “turmoil and bloodshed” should these statues not be taken down.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has warned of ‘turmoil’ with new map identifying Confederate monuments, cities and middle schools. But is SPLC also part of the problem? #Tucker

The group has also been rather slow to admit fault and remove innocent towns from the “hate map” that inspired the FRC shooting. The SPLC falsely listed the historic Iowa town of Amana Colonies as the home of the notorious white supremacist website Daily Stormer. When challenged, the group argued that Daily Stormer writers had met for a book club in one of the town’s restaurants. The SPLC finally removed the town this week.

Muslim Reformer Joins Christians in Suing Far-Left Terror-Linked Organization for “Hate” Defamation

In spite of all this, the SPLC has been raking in the cash after the riots in Charlottesville, Va. George Clooney and his wife Amal pledged $1 million to the group, and the company J.P. Morgan pledged $500,000. Apple CEO Tim Cook was even more generous, announcing his company would give $1 million to the SPLC and that it would set up a system in iTunes software to let consumers directly donate to the organization.

Earlier this month, Lyft announced it would partner with the SPLC “to provide educational resources for drivers.” MGM Resorts announced that it would match employee contributions to the SPLC dollar-for-dollar. Some companies already follow this policy.

According to an analysis by Second Vote provided to PJ Media, companies such as Disney, Kraft Heinz, Charles Schwab, Progressive Insurance, Shell, and Verizon have matched their employees’ small-dollar donations to the SPLC. The big offenders are: Pfizer, which gave the SPLC $8,919.5 in 2013 and 2015 combined; Bank of America, which gave the SPLC $9,310 between 2013 and 2015; and Newman’s Own, which gave the group $50,000 between 2013 and 2015.

Each of these contributions pale in comparison to the gifts from George Clooney, J.P. Morgan, and Apple, but they are still noteworthy.

To make matters worse, the SPLC does not need any of this money. The group is a cash cow, recording more than $50 million in contributions and $328 million in net assets (according to its 2015 Form 990). The Washington Free Beacon reported multiple transactions to foreign entities, including two cash payments of $2.2 million to funds in the Cayman Islands.

CNN broadcast the SPLC’s “hate map” on its website and Twitter account this month (with the FRC still marked on the map). In June, the charity navigation website GuideStar adopted the SPLC “hate group” list, marking each profile of the targeted organizations as a “hate group.” ABC and NBC parroted the SPLC’s “hate group” label against Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) last month.

IT’S ON: Christian Group Sues SPLC and Amazon Over “Hate Group” Designation

“The SPLC depicts itself as a big champion of rights, but it’s become a champion of wrongs,” Dan Gainor, vice president of Business and Culture at the Media Research Center, told PJ Media in an email statement. “It is no longer the civil rights era group that many of its supporters believe. It now exists largely to attack groups it doesn’t agree with and to fundraise millions and millions of dollars off of uninformed donors.”

Gainor warned that “the media make this far worse by legitimizing the group’s so-called ‘hate list.’ In reality, that list is a bizarre mix of good conservative groups and disturbing fringe organizations. The SPLC sees no difference between a group defending the rights of Christians in court and the Klan.”

“The media credential this awful hate group and rarely report that some of the SPLC’s biggest fans are dangerous criminals,” Gainor added. He mentioned Floyd Lee Corkins and James Hodgkinson.

Apple, J.P. Morgan, George Clooney, Lyft, MGM Resorts, and any organization that partners with the SPLC should know what it’s getting into.

Corporate America should not support a group that exists to tar mainstream organizations as “hate groups,” inciting violence against them. It should not bankroll an organization that targets innocent towns and elementary schools as purveyors of hate. It should not support a “poverty” organization that sends millions of dollars to accounts in the Cayman Islands. Enough is enough.

I appealed my G+ suspension – APPEAL DENIED!

google-censored

John R. Houk

© November 11, 2016

On November 9, I vented my frustration with Google for suspending my access to write on G+ because I was accused of violating “User Content and Conduct Policy”. I appealed that suspension largely based on guess work in 11/9/16 venting.

Yesterday Google notified me that my appeal was denied. The reason they gave me for violating “Content and Conduct Policy” was very lacking in details other than stipulating “… your content was in violation …”

Thus, the insinuation is that my content was in violation and not my conduct. AGAIN! The Google reasoning is my Conservative views and values is a violation of what is acceptable content.

Now let’s be clear: Any content I post does not have or contain profanity. There is NO incitement to commit acts of violence in my content. However, I have received threats of violence in the past, particularly from Muslims that grieve that criticism and the exposing of truth inherent in Islam as blasphemous. Unlike the Liberty inherent in the U.S. Constitution, Islam’s revered writings call for the death of anyone (even Muslims) who disrespect Islam or its prophet Muhammad. Hence the death threats against me and/or my family.

Leftists have occasionally threatened violence but most often like to hurl insults usually laced with profanity when they are unable to respond intelligently to my criticism. It is my thought that this current suspension I must experience for about two weeks (that includes an – OR ELSE from Google) is the result of Leftist frustration because Donald Trump won the election against – here comes a possible content violation – CROOKED HILLARY.

The OR ELSE might be expedited by Google in some future date for I refuse to believe criticizing the Left or their intelligence is a content violation in any social platform available to both Conservatives and Leftists. IF a social platform – Google, Facebook, etc. – desires to limit Conservative or Counterjihad content, those social platforms should spell out specifics. My reasoning is the hate speech and threats from Leftists and Muslims far exceeds any criticism leveled by the Right. Unfortunately, there a Right Wingers who do express racist vitriol however those tend to be on the extreme Right. AND YET extreme Leftists and “Radical” Muslims are able to exact profanity and threaten violence with impunity because of the Left thinking of Multiculturalism must be protected even if it is offensive to Conservatives, Jews and/or Christians.

I am still very annoyed by this G+ suspension. Can you tell? Do me a huge favor and plus-one this post via your Google+ account and perhaps even share it in a G+ community as a form of protest to unjust Google censorship.

Below is the G+ form letter email that I received so unworthily.

And yet MORE Nefarious Obama Administration Activities

Darrell Issa speaking at Cato Institute

This action designed by the Obama Administration and instrumented by Attorney General Eric Holder’s Justice Department to target business and banks involved in an enterprise Obama considers questionable has to be yet another illegal activity that should be added to Obama’s already growing high crimes and misdemeanors; viz. Operation Choke Point. Operation Choke Point aims at some real fraud such as in the porn industry, Ponzi schemes, gun sale cons, and so on. Those targets are legitimate for law enforcement to prevent a crime. The thing is the Justice Department (no doubt per Obama political agenda) is targeting legitimate legal business simply because the operation is a snub to Left Wing ideology; e.g. licensed gun industry, home school industry, home based businesses not dependent on pyramid and Ponzi schemes, child care and more.

Featuring Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-49), Chairman, House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform; moderated by Mark Calabria, Director, Financial Regulation Studies, Cato Institute.

Launched in early 2013, “Operation Choke Point” is a joint effort by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the bank regulators to limit access to the bank payments system by various businesses. Initially targeted at small-dollar nonbank lenders, Choke Point has grown to cover a variety of legitimate, legal businesses that just happen to be unpopular with DOJ, such as gun dealers and porn stars. Initial responses from DOJ claimed such efforts were limited to illegal businesses committing fraud. A recent report by the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform reveals DOJ’s claims to be false. In today’s economy, almost any economic activity depends on access to the payments system; allowing DOJ, without trial or a right to appeal, to arbitrarily limit access represents an almost unprecedented abuse of power.

I have mentioned this before in that Conservative realists like to point out that any impeachment is a waste of time because if the Republican majority in the House passes impeachment, the Senate probably could not muster the 60 vote minimum to convict either Obama or Holder. And that is even if a 2014 new Republican Senate majority takes over. But I say whether the impeachment process is successful or not, it shows voters that Conservatives in both Houses of Congress understand what is illegal AND it signals to Obama that his Executive Order fiat can become so outrageous that voters will pressure even their Dem Party incumbents in the next 2016 election which includes the Office of POTUS.

Lawmakers Throw Light on Secretive ‘Operation Choke Point’

By Kelsey Harkness

July 15, 2014

The Daily Signal

Is “Operation Choke Point” about to get choked by Congress? Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., sure hopes so.

Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, is calling for the dismantling of what he calls a secretive initiative launched by the Obama administration in early 2013.

Critics say that Operation Choke Point, so dubbed by Department of Justice officials under Attorney General Eric Holder, seeks to weed out businesses from the marketplace that the Obama administration considers objectionable. According to The Wall Street Journal, it was an outgrowth of the Financial Fraud Task Force, established by President Obama’s executive order early in his first term.

The initiative, Issa said last week, is a slippery slope:

“If you empower the government to pick winners and losers within a lawful enterprise, then there is no place to stop.”

Initially, in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, officials targeted small-dollar, nonbank lenders. But it grew to include other legal, legitimate businesses such as gun dealers and tobacco vendors at Walmart and Bass Pro Shop.

Issa, speaking on Operation Choke Point at Cato Institute, called it “proactive, progressive activity” by government against banks and other legitimate businesses.

“Fraud should be prosecuted,” Norbert Michel, research fellow in financial regulations at The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal. “They don’t have to use the banking system to shut out every single player in an industry to do that.”

House Republicans already have passed legislation prohibiting funding for Operation Choke Point. This week, the Justice Department initiative comes under further scrutiny in three House settings:

·         This morning at 10, the oversight and investigations subcommittee of the Financial Services Committee was scheduled to hold a hearing on the Justice Department initiative.

·         Today at 2 p.m., the Financial Services Committee’s subcommittee on financial institutions was set to hold a hearing on a new bill by Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-Mo.), the “End Operation Choke Point Act of 2014.

·         Thursday at 9:30 a.m., the Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee on regulatory reform will hold a hearing entitled “Guilty Until Proven Innocent?” on whether Justice has the legal authority to execute the operation and possible collateral damage to legitimate businesses.

One official at Justice, quoted anonymously in a  Wall Street Journal report last summer, said the initiative was intended to change “the structures within the financial system that allow all kinds of fraudulent merchants to operate,” with the intent of “choking them off from the very air they need to survive.”

By “air,” the DOJ means money. The Obama administration uses Operation Choke Point to intimidates (sic) banks from doing business with merchants it deems “high risk,” Issa and other critics say.

>>> Operation Choke Point: FDIC Cooperated with Justice Department

For example, Issa said in his remarks last week, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation officials make “inappropriate” phone calls to banks and payday lenders, pressuring them to sever ties with businesses the government considers “reputational risks.”

Mark Calabria, Cato’s director of financial regulation studies, said FDIC pressure is an enormous weight over the financial industry.

“When the federal government maintains the discretion to decide which bank gets rescued and which does not, it should be clear that banks in practice have little choice but to cooperate,” Calabria said.

Despite his opposition to the initiative, Issa has yet to endorse legislation to end Operation Choke Point. Instead, he said:

We’ve got to do what baseball pitchers do anytime somebody’s crowding the plate. And that is, we’re going to put the ball close enough that either they’re going to jump back, or we’re going to hit them with the ball. … What they’re doing is wrong, and we’ve got to show that.

The Dementia of the Southern Poverty Law Center

Pamela Geller - counterjihad media lists

In the early days of the Civil Rights Movement the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was a champion (SA HERE) to be honored for confronting racism in the USA. Not so much today…

TODAY the SPLC has taken a Left Wing multicultural path. TODAY if you are more than an inch Right of Center on the political spectrum the SPLC will label you a racist bigot.

To comprehend just how far Left the SPLC has degenerated you have to become aware that if you are a Biblical believing Christian or a person (or group) dedicated to exposing the nefarious political side of Islam.

Sharia Unveiled has written a defense of one of my heroes in counterjihad exposés in Pamela Geller who is labeled as an extremist by the SPLC.

The Dementia of the Southern Poverty Law Center: The Pamela Geller File

SPLC no credibilty banner

By Schuyler Montague

Sharia Unveiled

February 5, 2013

For anyone unfamiliar with the Southern Poverty Law Center, you would not gain much insight judging by their name.  Rarely, if at all does anything they do relate to poverty, except maybe to bring some citizens closer to it.  Granted, some of the work they do is for the good.  The SPLC is a private organization with strong ties to the federal government, namely the FBI, the BATF and the DOJ.  They primarily infiltrate, investigate and collect data on organizations that have been labeled as “Hate Groups.”  Then, they turn this information over to federal authorities, providing the evidence to initiate formal investigations.  Some examples of the organizations that they have targeted in the past are the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nations and the Aryan Brotherhood.  These organizations are most definitely racist hate groups by almost any standard.  The Southern Poverty Law Center played a lead role in the investigatory work done to control the proliferation of these groups, which is a great accomplishment.  That being said, they do have a quite tarnished past as well and have often found themselves on the wrong side of an issue and the wrong side of history itself.

Imagine my surprise while doing some research recently when I came across an Intelligence File on Pamela Geller on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s website.  After overcoming the initial shock and dismay, I could not believe the degree of bias and prejudice that was falsely assigned to her.  Morris Dees and Joseph J. Levin Jr. , the co-founder’s and chief trial counsel for the SPLC must be smoking something good down there at the SPLC headquarters in Montgomery, Alabama because their minds are diluted by the fog.  I guess it’s okay to hate, so long as you hate the people that they choose to hate.  Well, I can honestly tell you that ‘hate’ is not even a word in the mind, nor an emotion in the heart of Pamela Geller.  To the contrary, Pamela is actually one of the most embracing people I am aware of.

Pamela Geller has dedicated her life to being a voice for the voiceless.  She puts her life on the line every day that she awakes and boldly walks where few dare to walk.  She is considered by many people today to be the leading voice for human rights.  But, not just “any humans.”  Pamela Geller proclaims and demands the freedom and rights be given to the women and little girls from which they were stolen.  But, not just “any women and little girls.”  She is the leading voice for muslim women and muslim girls who dare not to speak out of fear.  All around the world today there are muslim women and girls who find themselves enslaved to a 7th century indoctrination.  These women and girls are often prisoners in their own homes and more so, their hearts are held captive.  They live in fear and fear to live.  Freedom is a distant thought and rights are something they only dream of.  Many of these women and little girls live in an environment of subjugation.  They are often not allowed out of their houses without their husbands, they are not afforded an education and they sometimes wonder, will today be the day that I die?

These women and girls for which she stands, are the women the world has forgotten.  This is a world where women are humiliated and flogged in public each day.  This is a world where women are buried in the ground, up to their chest and stoned to death and for what?  Because the woman was raped and she is to blame.  This is a world where little girls are murdered, but not by a stranger but rather by one they love.  They fear the thought of even a glance at a boy, lest they be taught the meaning of “honour” in their world.  Yes, this is a place, a land of disgrace where a woman may get acid thrown in her face.  And, almost always by the man she loves.  Screams of pain echo across the desert plains, but not to worry because here this is common place.  It may be the pain of a little girl having her genitals sliced off, maybe it’s rape or maybe it’s just the pain of another day.  Yes, just another day in paradise lost but not paradise forgot by all.  Because this is the place and these are the women and little girls, that Pamela Geller boldly speaks for.

There are only a handful of people on this earth today that I call an inspiration to me.  And, there are even less that have spread the truth out of a loving heart, that have inspired me to also be a voice for these women and girls.  Pamela Geller is one of these few that have done this.  So, now I have just one thing left to say and this I address to Mr. Morris Dees at the Southern Poverty Law Center;

Mr Dees;  I respectfully request that you reconsider the case file of Pamela Geller and remove her name from your list.  If this is not an option that you will consider, than I have one last request:  Please initiate a file on me as well because if Pamela Geller is guilty of some crime, than so am I.  You see, I to, speak out on behalf of the evil atrocities against muslim women and children and I promise you I will continue to do this until it ends or until the day that I die.  If you would be so kind, please place my file right next to hers, because united with Pamela, I stand.

Love is the catalyst.
