Analysis of ISIS’s Claims of Responsibility for Terrorist Attacks Carried Out Abroad

The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC) has put together an analysis of Islamic terrorist attacks that ISIS has taken credit.

The ITIC divides ISIS claims into a “short form” and a “long form”. The short form claims are classed as ISIS inspired. The long form claims are classed as ISIS directed.

The short form claims occur primarily in Western nations such as the recent Islamic terrorist attacks in Spain. The long form claims are located primarily in Muslim dominated nations.

The differentiation is interesting yet in my opinion, whether inspired or directed, the operation is a horrendous evil that must be dealt with in a brutal manner. A brutal response is standard procedure in Middle Eastern and Maghreb (North African Muslim) nations. Due to the influence of Leftist Multicultural politics, a brutal response is politically incorrect.

Unless Western nations can eschew political correctness, Islamic terrorists will continue to ravage Western nations.

Overview[1]

This study examines the forms of ISIS’s claims of responsibility for terrorist attacks it carried out abroad (i.e., not in Iraq and Syria, its “core countries”). It covers 22 claims of responsibility for attacks carried out between June 2016 and June 2017. The study shows a close correlation between the form of the various claims and the types and locations of the attacks. The ITIC is of the opinion that the insights gained from the study can be a used as a methodological tool to examine ISIS claims of responsibility and assess their significance.

  • Most of the attacks examined for this study were carried out by ISIS in Western countries (the United States and western Europe), some in Arab-Muslim countries (Egypt, Turkey Iran) and some in others(Israel, Russia, Kenya). In ITIC assessment, most of the attacks in the West were ISIS-inspired, that is, inspired by but not directed by ISIS, without its logistic support or the involvement of its external operational headquarters in choosing a target or reaching it. Some of the attacks (especially in Arab-Muslim countries) were planned by ISIS, and preceded by the methodical collection of intelligence, procuring weapons and training the operative or operatives who carried them out.

  • A comparison of the various claims of responsibility indicates that three different patternsare used:

  • The “short form:”The most frequently used type of claim of responsibility. It uses phrases and terms that repeat themselves in most of the announcements. In ITIC assessment the short form is relevant mostly for ISIS-inspired attacks carried out in the West. The announcements are composed after the attack and disseminated within a short time (usually the day after the attack). Apparently whoever composes the announcements prefers not to include unnecessary details because the full picture is not yet sufficiently clear and in order not to reveal the fact that the announcements were written after the attack and the terrorists who carried out the attack do not have an organizational link to ISIS.[2]Short-form announcements are similar to one another but not identical (with small, insignificant differences in terminology and style).

  • The “long form:”Such claims of responsibility are long and detailed, and include information about the attack and explicit reasons for their having been carried out. They are issued mainly for attacks which were planned in advance and for which ISIS paid attention to the aspect of propaganda. They are most commonly used for attacks carried out in Arab-Muslim countries. They are regularly issued in Syria, Iran and other countries where there are branches of ISIS (e.g., the Sinai Peninsula). The attacks examined for this study revealed four such claims of responsibility: for the suicide bombing attack in the Coptic cathedral in Cairo (December 12, 2016); the shooting attack in the nightclub in the heart of Istanbul (January 1, 2017), and the combined suicide bombing and shooting attack in Tehran (June 7, 2017). The announcement issued after the suicide bombing attack in Manchester (May 22, 2017) also belongs to that category.[3]

  • Claims of responsibility including videos:About one third of the short-form announcements issued after ISIS-inspired attacks included videos, in most cases published after the attack. In each instance the video was filmed at the initiative of the terrorists who carried out the attack. They photographed themselves before the attack and sent the pictures to ISIS, which were published by its Amaq news agency(or by other media). There were also several instances of attacks photographed and the pictures published in real time. The videos included threats against Western countries and oaths of allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The inclusion of videos increases the propaganda impact of the attacks. The attack in Tehran, which was well-planned, was photographed in real time as part of the overall the plan. In Syria and Iraq, and other Arab-Muslim countries where provinces of ISIS operate. It is very common for long-form claims of responsibility to be accompanied by videos prepared in advance (especially when suicide bombing attacks are carried out).

Larossi Abballa, who stabbed a French police officer and his partner to death in the residential commune of Magnanville, north-west of Paris. He photographed himself with his cell phone. As part of the video he recorded himself swearing allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (Amaq, June 14, 2016).

  • During the period studied, one instance of an ISIS-inspired attack was found for which ISIS did not claim responsibility. On June 8, 2016, two terrorist operatives carried out a shooting attack in the Sarona commercial and entertainment complex in the heart of Tel Aviv (four killed, seven wounded). The two attackers were inspired by ISIS; one of them had been influenced by ISIS ideology while studying in Jordan. They were assisted by a third operative, who provided them with weapons. ISIS did not claim responsibility for the attack despite the media capital it could have made from inspiring an attack in Tel Aviv. ISIS’s motives for not claiming responsibility are unclear. It is possible that ISIS did not have sufficient information about the attack while it was being carried out to indicate the terrorists had been inspired by the organization.

  • How reliable are ISIS’s claims of responsibility? In ITIC assessment, most of the attacks for which ISIS claims responsibility were in fact carried out by its operatives(planned attacks), or by terrorists who were inspired by the organization(inspired attacks). However, those are exceptional cases. For example, through its Amaq news agency, ISIS claimed responsibility for the combined shooting and stabbing attack carried out near the Nablus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem (June 16, 2017). According to the announcement, the attack was carried out by the “lions of the caliphate in the Palestine Province [of ISIS].” In ITIC assessment, the announcement was false, and reflected ISIS’s desire to boast of a success in a symbolic location such as “Palestine,” given the severe pressure exerted on the organization in Syria and Iraq.

In conclusion, an examination of the claims of responsibility revealed a connection between the pattern of announcement and the nature and location of the attackShort-form announcements seem to indicate an ISIS-inspired attack, usually carried out in a Western country, primarily by Muslims or people who have converted to Islam, been radicalized, and identify with ISIS’s ideology. Long-form announcements, on the other hand, seem to indicate a previously-planned ISIS attack. They are usually carried out in Syria, Iraq and Arab-Muslim countries, where ISIS has high operational capabilities.[4] Videos are included in claims of responsibility for both ISIS-inspired attacks and planned attacks. The difference between them is that in ISIS-inspired attacks the inclusion of a video is improvised and inserted on the initiative of the terrorists who carry them out, and then disseminated by ISIS’s propaganda machine. In planned attacks, publishing videos is part of preparations for the attack and attention is given to the aspect of propaganda. ISIS uses many languages in its announcements, depending on the target audience (Arabic and English are popular languages for the videos).

Composition and style of ISIS’s claims of responsibility

Short-form announcements

*** The following are the various linguistic and contentcharacteristics of claims of responsibility issued as short-form announcements:

  • Headline: The headline includes the source of the announcement (usually ISIS’s Amaq news agency), the date and the degree of urgency.

  • Body of the announcement: The announcement is usually written in modern Arabic, short and succinct. In most cases the language is grammatically correct.

  • Source: Information is often attributed to “a security source.” In ITIC assessment, that creates the impression (not always accurate) that ISIS has access to “security sources” with knowledge about the attack in whatever country it occurred. Sometimes only a “source” is mentioned.

  • Timing of releasing the announcement: In most instances, the announcement is issued the day after the attack. In exceptional instances, it is issued on the same day or two days later.

  • Language: ISIS issues the announcements in Arabic, but obviously makes the attempt to issue them in the language of the country where the attack took place. For ISIS-inspired attacks, some of the announcements are also presented in English, to increase the impact of ISIS’s message on Western audiences. The claim of responsibility for the attack at the night club in Istanbul also appeared in Turkish.

  • Publisher: Most of the claims of responsibility for attacks in the West are issued by ISIS’s Amaq news agency. It also issues claims of responsibility for attacks carried out in Syria, Lebanon and the Arab-Muslim world. Most of the announcements in the Middle East are issued by Haq, another ISIS news agency. In one instance (the attack in Manchester) Amaq issued a short announcement in Arabic and Haq issued two longer announcements, one in Arabic and one in English.

  • Names of the operatives: Generally speaking, the names and pictures of the operatives who carried out attacks do not appear. On exceptional occasions the aka of the terrorist, which relates to his country of origin, does appear. The aka is not necessarily accurate: in one instance a terrorist was reported as “Abu Yusuf the Belgian,” when in fact he came from Algeria.

  • Description of the attack: Attacks are described as “attacks” or “operational actions“. On rare occasions the term is “an armed attack“. In ITIC assessment, there is no real difference between the terms. Another term used is “an act of self-sacrifice,” which describes a suicide bombing attack (which are fundamentally different from other types of attacks).

  • Number of victims: Often the number of victims is not mentioned (possibly because of the lack of precise information). Sometimes the number is a combination of those killed and wounded. That is done to magnify the attackand make it seem like a greater “achievement.”

  • Terms for the coalition attacking ISIS: In most instances, the forces of the coalition attacking ISIS are referred to as “Crusaders.” Sometimes the coalition is referred to as “international.” However, the word “Christian” appears more than “Crusaders” to describe the people who are the targets of ISIS attacks. In ISIS’s perception a religious war is being fought, Muslims against Christians, in which Muslims indiscriminately attack Christians.

  • Reason for the attack: The most common reason for an attack comes in answer to ISIS’s call to attack the countries of the coalition fighting ISIS in Syria and Iraq. The objective is to exert pressure on the citizens of the coalition countries, creating public opinion to stop the attacks on the Islamic State.

Structure of a short-form claim of responsibility for an ISIS-inspired attack

Analysis of long-form announcements

** Long-form announcement have several unique features:

  • Pattern and language: The long-form announcements are written in classic literary Arabic, are clearly Islamic in style, and use religious terminology. For example, mushrikin(polytheist), fitna(civil war), amir al-mu’minin (ruler of the faithful), Salibyin (Crusaders), and khilafa(caliphate). Alongside such terms there are also worlds from modern Arabic.

  • Description, location and manner of the attack: The attack is described at length and has details which do not appear in short-form announcements. For example, a suicide bomber with an explosive belt blew himself up in an [sic] suicide bombing attack targeting a gathering of local Christians [i.e., Copts] in the central cathedral in Cairo. The location of the attack is mentioned to stress the size of the attack and because it was centrally located and crowded. Other long-form announcements were issued for the attacks on the nightclub in Istanbul and the Manchester Arena to illustrate that they were carried out in crowded sites.

  • Detailed description of the target using Islamic terminology: Long-form announcements include details about the targets. In Egypt, the Coptswere called Crusaders (Salibyin) or “Christians in Egypt.” The announcement also referred to Muslims who had allegedly abandoned Islam, calling them “infidels” and “abandoners of Islam.” The announcement about the attack in the nightclub in Istanbul accused Turkey of being an Islamic country that had abandoned Islam, calling it “the defender of the cross” (i.e., as having left Islam).

Justification for the attacks

  • The announcements chosen for examination indicate that the justification for carrying out terrorist attacks, including indiscriminate attacks, is based on religious arguments, at the center of which is the struggle of Muslims against Christians and “infidels,” that is, people of other religions holding different beliefs. The terrorist who carries out the attack is called a “soldier” in the ranks of the Islamic State, who fights against its enemies under the direction of the “emir of the faithful,” that is, the caliph (ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi). Another justification for the attacks appearing in many announcements is revenge against the coalition countries and other enemiesfighting ISIS, which it represents as enemies of Islam and Muslims. ISIS exerts pressure on their citizens by terrifying them (the announcements use the term irhab, which means to frighten or sow fear among people, and does not mean to carry out a terrorist attack).

The main message sent by the claims of responsibility and ISIS’s primary objective as reflected in them is the following: ISIS continues to wage a holy war (jihad) against its many enemies, including Christians (“Crusaders”), Shi’ites (rejecters of Islam), Muslims who abandoned Islam, and anyone who is not monotheistic, according to ISIS’s interpretation. ISIS’s primary objective is to spread its version of Islam around the globe following its victory over the various “infidels.” That is an overall goal when has no genuine chance of being achieved, but it turned a large number of states and population groups into enemies, which ISIS feels it has religious justification to kill.

In the picture an Islamic State “soldier” tears down a cross atop a church. The cover of the magazine reads, “Break the Cross” (Dabiq, issue #15, July 2016).

[2] In the past ISIS did not customarily issue claims of responsibility for ISIS-inspired attacks. Apparently, during 2016, when they became a significant modus operandi in the West, a general announcement was composed that was relevant for ISIS-inspired attacks. ↑
[3] Other examples of attacks carried out in Europe, after which a long-form claim of responsibility was issued, were the attacks at the airport in Brussels and the attack near the headquarters of the EU (both on March 22, 2016). It was a well-planned attack and considerable attention was paid to the aspect of propaganda. ↑

I n the opening scene of American Sniper, a sniper on the roof of a building is providing cover for a U.S. Marine convoy during the 2003 Iraq War. One of the snipers spots a woman and child exiting a building. The woman hands what looks like a grenade to the child, who starts running at the convoy. The sniper has to make a split-second decision without knowing for certain that it is, in fact, a grenade: shoot the young boy or risk letting the convoy get blown up. He shoots the child, and the undetonated grenade falls to the ground. The sniper made the right decision, but he had endured a nearly impossible moment. Not only did he very nearly make the wrong call, exposing his fellow warfighters to deadly force, but he will now have to live with the knowledge that he killed a child, even if it was the right and necessary decision.

These are the new contours of the battle against the Islamic State. A growing body of evidence makes clear that the Islamic State (IS) is actively exploiting children on the battlefield in order to gain the upper hand against stronger and better armed adversaries. Most recently, on August 20th, 54 people were killed and 66 injured at a wedding in Turkey, and the alleged perpetrator was a 12 to 14-year-old boy wearing a suicide vest. Five days later, the Islamic State released a video (right) [Blog Editor: To view video go to TKG post] of five young boys dressed in desert camouflage executing at point-blank range five Kurdish fighters.

The rate at which the Islamic State is recruiting, training, and exploiting children presents a new set of challenges for U.S. warfighters and law enforcement. Not only do we risk over-looking the threat posed by children, assuming their innocence, but we also run the risk of moral injury and increased rates of PTSD to those who must confront this threat. This paper looks at how the Islamic State is militarizing children in order to better prepare the United States to face this new and rising threat.

The Use of Children in Conflict

The use of children in war is not an innovation of the 21st century. Rather, it dates back hundreds of years to when children acted as squires and drummer boys on the battle-fields of Europe and as powder monkeys on British Royal Navy ships.1 The past seven-ty-five years have seen a proliferation of child soldiers: as Hitler Youth in Germany, as members of the Lord’s Resistance Army in Uganda toting AK-47s, and planting land-mines for Colombia’s FARC. The Council on Foreign Relations has reported that there are approximately 300,000 child combatants worldwide and that forty percent of the world’s armed organizations feature children in their ranks.2

This issue does not exclusively beleaguer the nations where such conflicts occur; rather, it is one the United States has directly confronted time and again, especially since 9/11. The first U.S. soldier killed in combat in the War on Terror, Sergeant 1st Class Nathan Chapman, was shot in 2002 by a 14-year old sniper.3 Three teens, ages 13 to 15, were captured while fighting U.S. troops in Afghanistan in 2003 and sent to Guantanamo Bay.4 In 2006, Shiite militias in Iraq urged children to throw rocks and gasoline bombs at American convoys to provoke U.S. retaliation.5

The Historical Role of Children in Terrorism

While the exploitation of children for military purposes has a long history, in the past 25 years its prevalence has grown, particularly in terrorist operations. For example, in the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu, U.S. Army Rangers and Delta Force operators were am-bushed by Somali men, women and “children armed with automatic weapons and rock-et-propelled grenades.”6 According to Ambassador Robert Oakley, women and children were not only used as shields but were themselves firing weapons.

The conflict in the Palestinian territories has seen the rise of the cult of martyrdom among youth, one which continues to be perpetuated: recently Hamas in Palestine put on a play in which a Muslim girl stabs an Israeli and is then “martyred” by Israeli soldiers. The children appearing in the play ranged from four to eight years old.7 In Nigeria, one out of five Boko Haram suicide attacks have been conducted by children, and 75% of those children used by Boko Haram are girls.8

But even within this growing trend of the exploitation of children for military purposes, the Islamic State stands out for the manner and degree to which it is recruiting, training and deploying children. Unlike many of the child soldiers seen in Africa—in Uganda, Liberia, and Democratic Republic of the Congo—who were utilized as untrained cannon fodder, the Islamic State is investing significant resources, time, and effort to groom an “unquestioning and ideologically pure” Islamist army for the future.9 They do not simply strap a suicide vest to a child and send them to blow up an Iraqi military target. They actively recruit them, psychologically and ideologically indoctrinate them, teach them how to fight and use weapons, and then put them in the ranks alongside men twice their age. These are not “mindless drones,” but willing and able jihadi equivalents of the Hitler Youth.

While terrorist organizations have regularly relied on children in different supporting roles, one can see a dramatic difference from al Qaeda to ISIS. Osama bin Laden’s Declaration of Jihad on Americans, dated September 2, 1996, encouraged the participation of young men in jihad:

“There is nothing strange about this: Muhammad’s companions were young men. And the young men of today are the successor of the early ones.”10

However, this position was later contradicted by the al Qaeda Training Manual discovered in 2000, which states:

“The requirements of military work are numerous, and a minor cannot perform them. The nature of hard and continuous work in dangerous conditions requires a great deal of psychological, mental, and intellectual fitness, which are not usually found in a minor.”11

This did not stop al Qaeda from using abducted children to retrieve weapons from the battlefield, get through checkpoints, and act as suicide bombers; but, they did not as a rule recruit and specifically train child fighters. The Islamic State, however, has developed a complete system for grooming, recruiting and training minors as jihadists.

ISIS’s Use of Children: Reasoning

The eighth issue of Dabiq, the Islamic State’s propaganda magazine, features an article titled “The Lions of Tomorrow.” Although brief, it introduces the Cubs of the Caliphate and explains their importance to the Islamic State:

The Islamic State has taken it upon itself to fulfill the Ummah’s duty to-wards this generation in preparing it to face the crusaders and their allies in defense of Islam and to raise high the word of Allah in every land. It has established institutes for these ashbal (lion cubs) to train and hone their military skills, and to teach them the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). It is these young lions to whom the Islamic State recently handed over two agents caught spying for Russian Intelligence and an agent caught spying for the Israeli Mossad, to be executed and displayed as an example to anyone else thinking of infiltrating the mujahidin.12

the-lions-of-tomorrow-dabiqThe ISIS magazine, Dabiq, features an article entitled “The Lions of Tomorrow” about the special role of youth in ISIS

ISIS is using the teachings of Mohammed to justify exploiting its children inside the Caliphate to become the jihadis of tomorrow.

The Islamic State justifies their use of child fighters, by saying,

“And just as the children of the Sahabah stained their swords with the blood of yesterday’s taghut (idolator)…so too will the children of the Khilafah stain their bullets with the blood of today’s tawaghit (idolaters).”13

ISIS has and is continuing to prime its children inside the Caliphate to become the jihadis of tomorrow, and they are using the teachings of Mohammed to justify these actions.

ISIS’s Use of Children: By the Numbers

Children are being recruited or abducted by the Islamic State at alarming rates. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, ISIS targeted schools and mosques to recruit 400 children in 2015 alone.14 In addition to those recruited, the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq estimated in June 2015 that ISIS had abducted between 800 and 900 children between nine and fifteen years old.15 Of grave concern are the estimated 700,000 refugee children out of school at the end of September 2015 as a result of the Syrian Civil War. That is a large and vulnerable population that the Islamic State is likely tapping into, providing services and education that the children otherwise would not receive and in turn recruiting countless more Lion Cubs. One expert estimated that the Caliphate has at least 1,500 children in its ranks.16

From January 2015 to January 2016, 89 children were eulogized. In the last six months, ISIS propaganda has featured at least twelve child executioners and one child participating in a public execution.17 By using children as soldiers, suicide bombers, and executioners, the Islamic State is scoring a major win in the propaganda wars. According to one group of analysts, ISIS is able to “gain the psychological upper hand against their opponents because their videos of children performing brutal acts break increasing global fear of the ‘caliphate’.”18

ISIS’s exploitation of children is on the rise. On April 29, ISIS’s media wing, al-Hayat, released a French-language video chant calling for revenge against the “crusader” coalition for the massacres and destruction caused by allied airstrikes. Unlike previous videos, however, the soldiers singing this nasheed were children—the Lion Cubs of the Caliphate. This is not the first time al-Hayat has included child soldiers in their videos, but this video, which makes children both the voices and the faces of the Islamic State, is one of the most significant depictions of children in ISIS media. As images of children training with handguns, Kalashnikovs, and RPG launchers fill the screen, they sing, “Beware, your end is already planned. Our warriors are everywhere, ready to sacrifice themselves. Beware, our orphans are growing. They feed their thirst for revenge in rage.”19

The Islamic State’s Indoctrination Operations

Since its declaration of the caliphate on June 29, 2014, the Islamic State has employed children in many different roles, ranging from recruiters to spies, guards to frontline soldiers, suicide bombers to executioners. In order to raise devoted and obedient Cubs, ISIS has turned much of its focus to the education of children. They run as many as 24 schools in Raqqa and many in Mosul, where ISIS abolished its education system the day they entered the city, in addition to at least eight schools and religious seminaries in faraway Nangarhar, Afghanistan.20 According to the PBS Frontline documentary “ISIS in Afghanistan,” the Islamic State is educating and training all local children in one Afghan village from the age of three so that “each generation will learn and teach in turn” the ways of jihad and ISIS’s brand of Islam.21 By June 2014, ISIS had, by one count, 22 sharia institutes in Aleppo alone. These religious schools are paired with physical training camps, where children are taught fighting and weapons skills. Some were even made to decapitate blond-haired dolls as practice for real life executions.22 The Islamic State is not only using these schools to recruit fighters, but also as a means of investing in children so that their “radical message endures beyond the group itself.”23

As summarized in the Washington Institute’s report, “Inside the Caliphate’s Classroom,” the Islamic State finished its “intimidation campaign” in 2013 and made bureaucratic reforms in 2014 that paved the way for the “indoctrination campaign” taking place right now.24 As part of this campaign, ISIS has written or re-written dozens of textbooks on varying topics: English, history, physics, mathematics, faith, physical activity, and Islamic law, among others. While some of the book covers are quite ordinary, others feature jihadi-oriented images. For example, one shows an image of a decapitated Statue of Liberty with an ISIS flag replacing her head.

In order to raise devoted and obedient Cubs, ISIS has turned much of its focus to the education of children.

The physical activity textbook is covered with images of soldiers training with weapons. Finally, a textbook on Mohammed’s teaching depicts gun-wielding soldiers serving un-der the Islamic State flag.25

These textbooks are “the instruments of a systematic indoctrination strategy,” used to justify Islamic State beliefs and teachings “in a style and forum through which children in all societies today are molded into adults.”26 ISIS’s apocalyptic and violent narrative of Islam pervades even the most innocent of teachings. For example, the Arabic literature textbook features out lines of guns at the bot-tom of each chapter.27 In their more explicitly violent books, such as on physical prepared-ness, the Islamic State includes a diagram showing how to assemble and use a variety of weapons.28 Through these teachings, ISIS has created and validated their worldview among its supporters, while simultaneously invalidating any contrary narratives or viewpoints.

However, the current youth population being raised in the Islamic State is not the only group we have to worry about. According to a report from the Quilliam Foundation published in March 2016, there are currently 31,000 pregnant women living within the Caliphate. These women were largely recruited as “baby factories,” not only to populate the new state, but also to create the next generation of jihadis born and raised exclusively within the Islamic State, predisposed to violence and terror.29 Even once the Islamic State is defeated, this new generation may haunt us. Unlike children who were brought to ISIS territory by their parents or who chose to travel there themselves, the children born within the Islamic State know nothing but what ISIS teaches them and believe that “violence is a way of life.”30 This will render any sort of de-radicalization program very difficult and guarantee a continued jihadi threat much past the Islamic State’s demise.

Precedents in the History of Islam

Although the Islamic State’s extensive exploitation of children is unique in today’s world, there are other precedents for this in Islamic history. For example, ISIS at least partially mirrors the Mamluks of Egypt—soldiers enslaved by the Muslim Egyptian army in their youth. After being purchased, each boy was, “cut off from his land of origin, his country is [now] Egypt; his father the master who purchased him; and his brothers: his companions in arms.”31 This sounds eerily similar to what ISIS is doing with the children who willingly travel to the Caliphate: they are made to burn their passports and accept the Caliphate as their nation, abandon their families if they do not support the Islamic State, and accept their fellow soldiers as their brothers. The 14th century Muslim historian Ibn Khaldun even ascribes the success and wealth of the early Islamic empire to the Mamluks:

“Thus one group of Mamluks follows another and generation succeeds generation and Islam rejoices in the wealth…which is acquired by eons of them and the boughs of the kingdom are luxuriant with the freshness and verdure of youth.”32

Today ISIS has taken and created a class of highly indoctrinated child warriors similar to the Mamluks.

More recently, Saddam Hussein also exploited children for military purposes. His Youth Vanguard movement recruited children as young as twelve to receive military training and placed them into military units to be used during the Iran-Iraq War.33 More important than the Youth Vanguard, though, were the Ashbal Saddam, or Saddam Lion Cubs. The Ashbal Saddam recruited boys ages ten to fifteen and sent them to military camps for indoctrination and military training for as much as fourteen hours a day.34

These boys were not simply cannon fodder but rather were seen as the future of the regime, similar to the Islamic State’s vision of a future population of “pure” jihadists. After toppling Saddam’s regime in Iraq in 2003, the transitional government initiated a de-Ba’athification process that left “over 100,000 Iraqis unemployed, angry, and armed.”35 Many of these former Ba’athist officers and officials ended up joining the Islamic State, often at the highest levels, bringing with them knowledge, lessons, and skills from Saddam’s reign.36 The training and use of children in battle and in carrying out acts of terrorism is one way that the legacy of Saddam Hussein runs through the veins of ISIS.

ISIS Youth Supporters in the United States

The Islamic State has not limited its recruitment or use of children to within its borders. The United States is experiencing a deadly combination of increased levels of youth recruitment and training in Islamic State-held territory paired with high numbers of youth radicalized by ISIS on U.S. soil. Both internationally and domestically, ISIS is targeting a much younger audience through social media platforms, the utilization of popular hashtags, and their own apps, such as Library of Zeal’s “Alphabet” app. The vocabulary and images used throughout the app include tanks, guns, rockets, and specifically jihadist terminology.

ISIS Youth Problem- Arrests by Age

ISIS Supporters in US- Ages 15-25

Since March 2014, 110 ISIS supporters have been interdicted in the U.S. Of those, nearly 60 percent were between the ages of 15 and 25 years old. Even more concerning, 41 of those interdictions were potential or attempted domestic attackers, with 54 percent of those domestic attackers falling between 15 and 25 years of age.

A prime example of this is Justin Sullivan, a 19-year old from Morganton, N.C., arrested on June 19, 2015. Shortly before his 20th birthday, Sullivan allegedly robbed and murdered a neighbor for money to buy an assault rifle, tried to hire someone to murder his parents, and plotted a massacre inspired by ISIS. He is the first American ISIS supporter to face the death penalty.37 As a domestic plotter, Justin Sullivan represents a third of the sup-porters ages 15 to 25.

Representing nearly 57 percent of that age group, three Colorado girls, ages 15, 16, and 17, attempted to travel to the Islamic State in October 2014, but were stopped at the Frankfurt airport. Unbeknownst to their families, the three girls were sharing militant recruitment videos, one of which featured Anwar al-Awlaki, following and interacting with online jihadists, and tweeting their support for jihad and the Islamic State thousands of times. Their attempted trip to join ISIS has been called a significant case study, as “the process they underwent—from use of social media, radicalization, recruitment online, even through the actual travel route to join the Islamic State—all follow the exact same pattern shared by several hundred Westerners.”38

On August 28, 2015, 17-year-old Ali Shukri Amin of Manassas, Virginia, was sentenced to more than eleven years in prison followed by a lifetime supervised release and monitoring of his internet activities for providing material support to ISIS.39 Using the Twitter handle @Amreekiwitness, Amin instructed his followers to use Bitcoin to send money to ISIS and facilitated supporters seeking to travel to the Islamic State. He tweeted more than 7,000 times to more than 4,000 followers, espousing his pro-ISIS beliefs to many other vulnerable individuals. These ISIS convictions provide a snapshot of the current domestic situation that law enforcement can study to better understand and prepare for future cases.

Threat to Our Warfighters

The engagement of child soldiers both abroad and domestically in support of or inspired by the Islamic State will greatly challenge American warfighters and law enforcement officers. Abroad, our warfighters face strategic limitations when facing insurgencies and terrorist organizations in the form of our rules of engagement. Generally, American ROE “give American soldiers the option of

using force only in the face of a ‘hostile act’ or ‘hostile intent,’ or when an enemy fighter has been ‘positively identified.’”40 Once the enemy is engaged, ROE dictate which, how, and where weapons can be used, and indicate the command chain that can authorize the use of each weapon. The self-imposed U.S. rules of engagement are so stringent and restrictive, going far beyond the requirements of the law of armed conflict, that they often tie the hands of American warfighters engaged in perilous situations. Furthermore, “American forces play by the rules while our enemies exploit those same rules” to their advantage and our detriment, which has resulted in unnecessary deaths of both American soldiers and local civilian populations.41

The constraints imposed by our ROE are magnified when facing child combatants. Our rules state that children are civilians, not combatants, and we are mandated to avoid any attack where civilians are present. In America’s airstrike campaign against ISIS, it is re-ported that the Obama Administration has repeatedly made the decision to leave known military targets intact so as to avoid any civilian casualties.42 The Islamic State not only flagrantly disregards the laws of war—using child soldiers, killing civilians, and enslaving enemies—but they also “launch international propaganda campaigns when our pains-taking targeting proves to be the least bit imprecise.”43 If American soldiers are forced to engage children on the battlefield against the Islamic State, the propaganda value gained by ISIS will be significant—not only will American morale take a dive, but ISIS will undoubtedly gain countless recruits as a result.

Finally, it is important to consider the moral hazard associated with facing children on the battlefield. The Islamic State has assumed the risk of using children—alienating potential supporters and inciting stronger retaliation from its opponents—because the U.S. is forced to assume the costs—upholding the law of armed conflict and rules of engagement, increasing American opposition at home, and alienating any potential allies in the region—which outweigh those risks. Not only would this challenge our ROE, but it could also cause severe psychological and moral injury to our troops, who are taught to protect and value the life of a child. This will be extremely important to consider if the U.S. decides to put boots on the ground in a direct combat role in the future.

If American soldiers are forced to engage children on the battlefield against the Islamic State, the propaganda value gained by ISIS will be significant—not only will American morale take a dive, but ISIS will undoubtedly gain countless recruits as a result.

Threat to Our Law Enforcement Officers

The Islamic State’s employment of children in their ranks not only threatens our warfighters abroad but also endangers our law enforcement officers at home. Of the 22 domestic ISIS plotters age 15 to 25 interdicted in the U.S., seven targeted law enforcement officers and seven targeted members of the military or military installations in America. In addition to this direct threat, there is also a domestic weak spot of concern.

According to our Transportation Security Administration, children under eighteen are not required to have ID to travel domestically. That makes tracking or halting the movements of jihadis who are minors extremely difficult. Furthermore, children twelve and un-der are allowed to leave their shoes, light jackets, and headwear on during screening.44 With increased wait times and longer lines at airport security checkpoints, this threat could prove to be an increasingly attractive soft target for ISIS supporters, both children radicalized by the group and adult supporters using children to avoid arousing suspicion.

According to a U.S. Southern Command intelligence report, Sunni extremists are already utilizing Latin American smuggling routes to cross the border into the United States.45 There is a very good chance that ISIS will not only turn to these smugglers, but also that they will focus on smuggling children, who are naturally less suspicious, into the U.S. The surges of unaccompanied alien children (UAC) in 2014 and 2016 paired with the U.S. pol-icy to accommodate such children that make it to America together create an additional vulnerability that the Islamic State and its supporters could exploit to infiltrate and attack America. These are but a few threats American law enforcement could face from children who support or are inspired by ISIS, and they must be taken seriously before we suffer another massacre at home.

The Islamic State has warned us:

“Beware, we have what we need to defend ourselves: well-armed soldiers are ready to kill you…Your blood will flow for your heinous crimes… Beware, we are ready to fight back. Our swords are sharpened to slice necks… Beware, men are ready to blow themselves up, ready to respond to the evil you have brought. Beware, your roads will soon be rigged with mines by well-trained and determined brothers. Beware, your end is al-ready planned. Our warriors are everywhere, ready to sacrifice them-selves. Beware, our orphans are growing. They feed their thirst for revenge in rage.”

The United States should heed this threat before today’s Cubs of the Caliphate become tomorrow’s Army of Jihadis waging war on American soil.

Terror in Paris: A Message to Our Friends in Paris

By Ari Bussel

Sent: 11/14/2015 9:32 PM

Dear Friends,

From yesterday afternoon, now for 24 hours, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Parisians, French, the people of Western Europe, of the Western World and the Judeo-Christian way of life: We are all one.

We all face the same end, if we do not stand up and stand together to defend all that is dear to us – our way of life!

Two weeks ago, I have returned from Israel, where the third Intifada rages. It is also called the Stubbing Intifada, for they use knifes (and Molotov cocktails and vehicles) as weapons – to create what they glorify as “A SYMPHONY OF BLOOD.”

Blood to them is a “symphony of love,” it colors their lives, it highlights the achievement of being.

Theirs is a death cult, while we strive for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I call this third Intifada the Youth Intifada, for they are all young, so very young. They have been brainwashed and trained from age zero, by their parents and their society, music videos, videos, text books, songs, stamps and religious sermons to become martyrs. They have been robbed of their childhood and became weapons of terror.

Now they are being unleashed, wave after wave after endless wave.

Day after day in Israel, innocent people are being murdered, walking in the street, standing at a bus stop, entering a marketplace. Young, old, parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren together – it matters not, as long as blood spills and quenches their lust, hunger and thirst.

In recent days they have graduated to using live weapons. On Friday, they shot a father, then went and shot his 18 year old son. The victims’ only sin: being Jewish in their homeland.

A few hours later the same was multiplied in your capital city, the city of lights and laughter, the city of life.

Alas, what can be applied well against the Jews is later exported to the rest of the world.

You have experienced it first hand on Friday.

We have seen it before: those strapped with explosives. Others gathering people and executing them en mass. Or beheading or burning people – for the world to see.

We must stand up and we must stand together. Else, there will be no one to speak for us, as – not that long ago – wrote Pastor Martin Niemoller.

Psalms 120:7 (the Jewish Bible, the Christian Old Testament) tells us:

ז אני-שלום, וכי אדבר; המה, למלחמה.

7 I am all peace; but when I speak, they are for war. {P}

Let us safeguard our way of life. Let us celebrate life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness! For our fight is just and our cause is life itself, while our enemies – enemies of the free world – are a death cult.

May you stand strong as you mourn your dead and prepare for what might be unleashed next.

Always,

Ari Bussel

PROPOSAL FOR PEACE IN FRANCE

Sent by Ari Bussel

Sent: 11/14/2015 10:22 PM

Dear friends,

Today is a day of mourning for me for I am a Francophile and Paris is my most beloved city since my mother took me there when I was 15.

However, the ironies (and I do not mean Friday the 13th) of the frightening carnage cannot be ignored.

First, it happened on the very day that the EU announced its plan to mark Israeli goods produced in Judea & Samaria and in “Palestine” which does not exist and never did. It can only be regarded as punishing the victim with more support for the aggressor. This is how aggression and violence are rewarded in convoluted Europe.

Secondly, the new Canadian Liberal government announced that Harper’s era of special friendship towards Israel is over. From now on “evenhandedness” (namely, equating terrorists with their victims) is the new policy which includes the treatment of Hezballah as a legitimate partner to peace. One wonders how soon will Canada be attacked in order to get even more concessions from Trudeau’s government.

Thirdly, our genius American Secretary of State is in Vienna to negotiate “peace” in Syria. He thinks that feeding beasts satisfies them. Thinking people know that feeding beasts make them hungrier.

So in that context, no wonder the Liberal-socialist French government who took in thousands of Muslim “refugees” and is among the least friendly European countries to Israel, is the latest receipient [sic] of the Muslim gratitude we witnessed last night.

Although I weep for all the innocents who lost their lives and for the rape of my beloved Paris, I cannot refrain from posting again this article by Steven Plaut, published in 2000.

How long and how many more rivers of blood will it take for the Europeans to realize who in the Middle East is their only true friend. If I were them, I would rush to buy every item of goods produced in Judea & Samaria.

Your Truth Provider,

Yuval.

France must Offer Land for Peace

By Steven Plaut

In the aftermath of the series of protests in Paris against occupation by activists and militants, who have grievances, we bring you the French plan for peace, based on France’s Mideast policies. It is the only way to solve the problem of ISIS activism in Paris.

First, we all agree that territory must not be annexed by force. Therefore, we can also agree that Germany has a moral right to demand the return of Alsace-Lorraine, for the French aggression in 1945 and its consequent occupation must not be rewarded. “A full withdrawal for full peace” should operate here. Further, France must agree to the return and rehabilitation of all ethnic Germans expelled from Alsace-Lorraine after World Wars I and II, as well as all those they define as their descendents [sic].

But this, of course, is just the first step toward a solution, as no aggression can be rewarded-and France has much other stolen territory to return. It took Corsica from Genoa, Nice and Savoy from Piedmont; as the successor state, Italy must get back all these lands. By similar token, territories grabbed from the Habsburgs go back to Austria, including Franche-Comte, Artois, and historic Burgundy. The Roussillon area (along the Pyrenees) must be returned to Spain, its rightful owner. And Normandy, Anjou, Aquitaine, and Gascony must be returned to their rightful owners, the British royal family.

Not even this not enough for the sake of peace. Brittany and Languedoc must be granted autonomy at once, recognizing the Breton and Occitan Liberation organizations as their legal rulers. This leaves the French government in control over the Ile de France (the area around Paris).

That, however, still does not solve the problem of the Holy City of Paris, sacred to artists, gourmets, and adulterers. The Corsicans obviously have a historic claim to the Tomb of the Emperor Napoleon, their famed son, as well as the Invalides complex [Wikipedia] and beyond. For the sake of peace, is it not too much to ask that Paris be the capital for two peoples? The French authorities must agree to prevent French Parisians from even entering the sacred tomb area, lest this upset the Corsicans. Let the Eiffel Tower be converted into a mosque.

The Saint Chapelle and the Church of Notre Dame of course will be internationalized, under joint Vatican-art historical auspices. Indeed, the French should consider it a compliment of the highest order that so many people see Paris as an international city.

The French have nothing to complain of. They will enjoy the benefits of peace and retain control of the Champs Elysees.

Actually, come to think of it, even the Champs Elysees may be too much. Recalling the French position that Jerusalem is not the capital of Israel, perhaps the true French capital is not Paris at all, but Vichy.

America Sends Money to Terrorists at Israel’s Expense

Hamas - We need handout toon

John R. Houk

Hmm … As an American, what would you think if the Obama Administration directed hundreds of millions of dollars to go to Islamic Terrorists? As an American you should be supportive of the USA’s only real ally in the Middle East – Israel. A Jim Kouri article at Examiner.com reported on 10/12/14 that President Barack Hussein Obama’s Administration has GIVEN the Hamas Islamic terrorists $212 MILLION bucks because those poor abused folks in Gaza have been abused by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF):

Kerry had arrived in Cairo early Sunday specifically attend the conference with other leaders to discuss raising billions of dollars to rebuild the Gaza Strip, according to counterterrorism expert Raoul Plattsberg.

“The humanitarian challenges [are] enormous and the [Palestinian] people of Gaza need our help desperately, not tomorrow, not next week, they need it now,” Kerry said during the conference that had the participation of officials from 50 countries and 20 NGOs (non-government organizations). (Obama, Kerry to fork over another $212 million to Hamas-ruled Gaza; By Jim Kouri; Examiner.com; 10/12/14)

EXCUSE ME! Hamas is on the U.S. State Department’s terrorist watch list and has been so since 1997.

Hamas, an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (“Islamic Resistance Movement”), was founded by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, a Palestinian cleric who became an activist in local branches of the Muslim Brotherhood after dedicating his early life to Islamic scholarship in Cairo. …

… Hamas published its charter, calling for the destruction of Israel and the establishment of an Islamic society in historic Palestine. READ ENTIRE BACKGROUNDER (Hamas; By Zachary Laub; CFR; Updated 8/1/14)

Obama’s supports the enemies of our ally Israel. The propaganda thus justifies Hamas targeting of Jewish civilians – men, women, teenagers and children – for murder in the name of Islam and for the destruction of Israel. American and European Leftists are okay with this kind of “humanitarian” support because apparently it is acceptable to murder Jews in a more technological society such as tiny Israel and whine about a sophisticated response from Israel that rips Hamas’ infrastructure (See Also HERE) that also kills human shields that are as much voluntary as they may be coerced to sacrifice themselves to protect Hamas military assets that target Israeli cities.

I have a problem with this idiotic antisemitic reasoning by Western Leftists. AND my fellow Americans, you should have a problem with this as well.

Israel has struggled to exist as an independent nation in the ORIGINAL homeland of the world’s Jews since 1948 when FIVE (or seven considering the Arab-Muslim militia set-up within the defunct British Mandate for Palestine) invading Muslim-nation armies tried to destroy it more for selfish territorial desires by relatively newly independent Muslim nations using the Islamic dar al-Islam (House of Islam) argument that Muslims were being displaced by usurping post-WWII European Jews.

The only thing remotely true about the Muslim apologist propaganda is that a majority of Jews returning to their ancient homeland were from persecuted European nations stretching from the Atlantic to Russia (then USSR). These European Jews began returning to their homeland even before WWII which means before Adolf Hitler made his contemptuous attempt to exterminate Jews of irreligious heritage and religious Jews from the European continent. Of course after the Western world became aware of the result of Hitler’s attempted Final Solution for Jewry via the Holocaust murdering about SIX MILLION Jews, the impetus to establish a sovereign Jewish Nation became something the West’s more democratic elected governments were forced to listen in a more positive manner.

Hence when many Western nations began to view their National Interests lay more with pacifying Middle Eastern Muslims than supporting an independent sovereign Jewish Nation, some of those Western nations began backroom efforts to thwart an independent Israel. The United Kingdom in particular sent British military officers as the leadership corps of Jordan’s (then Transjordan) Arab Legion which was the only Muslim military force that was able to push back the rag tag but unified Jewish forces of the new Israel. Jordan’s Arab Legion under the command of British generalship pushed Israeli forces back from historical Judea-Samaria rooted out the ancient Jewish Quarter of the Jerusalem Old City (now termed as East Jerusalem by Muslim apologists and global Leftists) until a rough armistice was reached after it became apparent the other invading Muslim armies failed in their unholy quest to drive Jews into the Mediterranean Sea completing another Holocaust of Jews a mere three years after Hitler’s execution of his Final Solution Holocaust.

I am still amazed that Muslims have been taught so much hatred toward Jews that they cannot agree to befriending a very tiny sliver of land of the ancient Jewish Homeland to Jews who have had both a heartfelt desire to live free from antisemitic persecution and/or a religious desire to attain their aged old prayer of “next year in Jerusalem” (Orthodox thinking HERE and HERE; Jewish Reform Allegorical thinking HERE and HERE; Conservative/Masorti thinking HERE; Historical HEREFull Disclosure: I am what many would describe as a Christian Zionist [ICEJ & John Hagee] hence the preceding links on Jewish attitudes toward this prayer is subject to my quick perusal and may not be totally accurate).

The Muslim-Arabs accredited as displaced after 1948 are largely (but obviously not totally) come from Muslim descendants that were also fairly recent arrivals to the part of the Levant which is now Israel. AND during the years of Muslim nations threatening to destroy Israel those displaced Muslims got out of dodge because they didn’t want to be around when Jews defending their new sovereignty fought with blood thirsty Muslim-Arab armies dedicated to killing Jews. Those displaced Muslims chose not to be victims of the crossfire, indeed the invading armies had sent out word to flee to safety until the Jews were cleansed from the land.

So when the majority of invading armies failed in their mission to destroy Israel, that left a refugee problem that the nations representing those invading armies REFUSED to solve by absorbing them into their own nations. Instead it would be decided to exploit those refugees as a tool for continuous future invasions and after 1967 the promotion of Islamic terrorism to undermine Israel’s existence.

Hezbollah Conspiracy Theory

Joe Shuster - Jerry Siegel Creators of Superman 2

John R. Houk

© February 22, 2014

You know I like a good conspiracy theory. The conspiracies I post are typically good educated conjecture from available facts. My villains are usually Leftists and global Muslim Caliphate promoters inherent among Muslims that share the sentiments of the Quran, Hadith and Sira as it applies to non-Muslims. The Leftist villains promote a New World Order of top-down control of humanity and humanity’s beliefs to force acceptance of Left Wing utopian secularism. The Caliphate agendas typically about spreading Islam by hook or by crook whether anyone wants to the Islamic Supremacist club or not.

Thanks to the closed Facebook group Israel Hasbara (Fascinating Wikipedia explanation by what is meant by the word “Hasbara”) I found a typical Muslim Conspiracy not surprisingly aimed at Jews and Americans as the villains. I am going to cross post the story Israel Hasbara alerted me to which is found on The Times of Israel.

I’ll attempt a brief synopsis here. Hezbollah is using their media to tell all the Muslims that listen to them that Hollywood was invented by the Jews to brainwash Americans and prepare the world for a Jewish global take-over. This Conspiracy Theory is moronic! Nevertheless, you must realize Islam is trained to hate Jews and Christians which is encoded in what Muslims believe are holy writings. So you must realize that Muslims believe this drivel when they hear or read it.

Oh did I mention that Hezbollah is a Shia-Islamic terrorist organization that is at the beck and call of the psycho-Mullahs of Iran?

Hezbollah particularly looks at the creation of Superman by comic artist Joe Shuster and comic writer Jerry Siegel. Both Shuster and Siegel have a Jewish heritage but I am unsure about any Judaic practicing habits. And so Hezbollah manipulates information to create a Jews create the New World Order with Hollywood brainwashing.

Hezbollah: Jews invented Hollywood to ‘take over the world’
Henry Cavill portrays Superman in 'Man of Steel.'
By
YIFA YAAKOV

February 21, 2014, 6:17 am

Times of Israel

American Jews invented Hollywood movies, from “Superman” to “Schindler’s List,” in order to take over the world, according to a program aired on Hezbollah’s al-Manar TV and translated by MEMRI. Hezbollah would like to do the same thing, but doesn’t know how to, the report lamented.

According to the program, the Jews “felt rejected by real American society,” so they “tried to change society’s opinions of them by inventing cinematic characters that would serve as role models.”

While some of the characters were overtly Jewish, others were concealed as superheroes and other classic Hollywood protagonists, camouflaging the Jewish attempt to take over American and global culture.

“That’s when it all began,” said the narrator of the program. “Everybody wanted to be like Superman, the hero from outer space who could not fit into society as Superman, so he invented a character that was better suited for American society — the feeble, bespectacled Clark Kent.”

The program cited an “expert” described as a “university professor and international photographer,” Farroukh Majidi, as saying, “If you hit the heart of somebody, the result is short-term. But if you hit his brain, then the result is long-term.”

Majidi was referring to what the program described as the Jews’ attempts to use heroic characters to generate influence.

“They try to make you believe that what you think is coming out of you, yourself,” Majidi said.

The narrator then explained that Superman was “invented” by Joe Shuster, a Jew, to “deal with” whoever challenged the Jewish world view.

“Hollywood is a Jewish invention that changed the way Americans view America, and created dreams, rather than reality. They managed to make the Americans live the dream, divorced from reality,” said the narrator.

“Undoubtedly, the goal was to take over the greatest superpower in the world to control all aspects of its daily life and to harness it in the service of Jewish goals worldwide.”

Majidi added, “What is most dangerous is if you believe their culture.”

He warned that the most “dangerous” aspect of the Jewish influence over global culture through Hollywood was not films centering around Jewish characters or themes, but rather films subversively promoting Jewish culture.

“What is touching us, what is ruining us, ruining our culture, is the penetration of their culture through mass media, through their movies, through this television,” Majidi said.

Urging viewers “to fight against what they want to do,” Majidi added: “This is their country, this is their culture, and they want to conquer all the world, as we want. But they know how to do it, but we don’t know.”

He said “the Jews,” unlike Hezbollah, possessed the technology, equipment, skill, specialists and cinema professionals to execute their plan of global domination.

The program made special mention of “Schindler’s List” as well as of German-Jewish pioneer filmmaker Carl Laemmle, who sponsored the passage of thousands of Jews from Nazi Germany to the US, saving them from what the narrator of the program termed “the so-called Holocaust.”

The narrator noted that Laemmle, who was said to have emigrated from Germany “for the sake of his Jewishness,” founded Universal Studios.

Laemmle ”worked to keep Hollywood in Jewish hands only,” the narrator went on, adding that “this influence continues to this day.”

Images of religious Jews, synagogues and Torah scrolls were screened in the background as she spoke.

The Project – The Full Glenn Beck Documentary

February 22, 2014

I found this Glenn Beck produced documentary while doing a bit of research The Project which is an agenda formulated by the Muslim Brotherhood to take North America for Islam. You can find various links about this nefarious Muslim Brotherhood plan to erase American culture in the second half of the post “Islam is an Anti-American – Antichrist Religious Cult”. The second half of that post is where the emphasis on The Project is at.

The Glenn Beck documentary link at that post will take you to a disclose.tv version. Although disclose.tv had an embed code, my other blogs reject its usage because they seem to be dominated by an emphasis of Youtube usage. The good news is I found a Youtube version of the documentary and below you can watch the full version.

In 2001, an inconspicuous manifesto now known as “The Project” was recovered during a raid in Switzerland: A manifesto that turned out to be a Muslim roadmap for infiltrating and defeating the West. Today, files containing evidence from the largest terror financing trial in U.S. history, which include details about “The Project”, are being withheld by the Department of Justice.

In an explosive two-part mini-series, TheBlaze documentary unit investigates how the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the American government and exposes how our nation’s safety is in jeopardy as a result of this dangerous government cover up.

Palestinian Jew-Hater Kills Young IDF Soldier on Bus

Eden Atias. Murdered 18 yr old IDF soldier by 16 yr old Palestinian

John R. Houk

© November 14, 2013

A name you will not hear of in Obama’s America is Eden Atias. Atias is a 19 year old soldier of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Atias got onto a bus in Nazareth located in Judea-Samaria (West Bank to those determined to give away Jewish Land) and was stabbed repeatedly by the time the bus reached Afula in Northern Israel. Guess who stabbed the Jewish soldier? A 16 year old Palestinian Islamic terrorist whose name is Hussein Jawadra originally from Arab dominated Jenin in the Palestinian Authority (PA) controlled portion of Judea-Samaria. Jawadra was actually working illegally in Israel as an illegal alien from PA governed territory. These Muslim monsters that call themselves Palestinians need a work permit to work in Israel undoubtedly because of the ingrained brainwashing by the PA that Jews are apes and pigs and are deserving of death.

The sad irony about Israeli media is that most those outlets don’t name Hussein Jawadra undoubtedly because of the Western concept of a 16 year old being a minor rather than an adult. As of today most of the Israeli media I have only name Jawadra as a 16 year old Palestinian assailant. Some are bold enough to call a terrorist.

Hussein Jawadra is representative of the kind of people that Obama, Obama’s State Department, United Nations and European nations under the auspices of the European Union (EU) desire to force Israel to permit a sovereign nation called Palestine to come into existence. With this kind of brainwashing and breeding of Jew-hatred you do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that a sovereign Palestine will only have one reason to exist; viz., the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews.

My fellow Americans, I don’t care what President Barack Hussein Obama tells you, America is a Christian nation in foundation and secular as a rule of laws Republic. Islam has not made any major contributions to American culture unless you count terrorism and murder of the non-Muslim American majority as a cultural contribution.

America’s lawmakers in all three branches of our Constitutional government have been slipping into the erroneous belief that providing land to a group of Arab Muslims that have adopted the name of Palestinian will bring peace between the Muslim world, Israel and the Western World. If you have seriously read the Quran then you realize that the book’s dualistic theology and the doctrine of abrogation means Muslims can pick and choose which suras to use to justify violence against non-Muslims.

The dualism of Islamic theology means two opposing principles are both valid if used in a way to magnify Islam. The abrogation doctrine (See HERE and HERE) contributes to dualism having suras that are newer nullifying suras that are older. For example, kill them wherever you find them is more valid than there is no compulsion of religion in Islam. The ‘kill them’ verse was written after the ‘no compulsion’ part. Even more difficult to discern which suras are newer and which suras are older is that the Quran is not put together in chronological order. Rather the Quran is written from the longest sura to the shortest sura without any linear chronology.

Those Muslims the Western World has labeled as radical as opposed to moderate are merely applying the traditional interpretation of the Quran, Hadith and Sira. The alleged majority moderate Muslims have chosen the abrogated Mecca suras of the Quran over the Medina theologically superior suras. One of the reasons the so-called moderate Muslims rarely condemn the radical because of the Islamic belief that everything in Quran is perfect. If the so-called minority radical Muslims gain the ascendency in any government the moderates simply go along with the theologically pure radicals. YOU ARE SEEING THIS AMONG THE ARABS CALLING THEMSELVES PALESTINIANS!

America cannot trust the dominating radical Islam of the PLO terrorist controlled PA, Hamas, Shi’ite Hezbollah or even more alarmingly Twelver Shi’ite Iran. For the West radical is radical regardless if it is Sunni or Shi’ite.

As American voters how can we support Obama’s destructive call to create A bloodstained bus seat where soldier Eden Atiasa Palestinian State that teaches their citizens to hate Jews so much that in a whim of shahid hatred kills a Jew like Eden Atias?

Murdered Soldier: Pvt. Eden Atias, 19

By Gil Ronen

11/13/2013, 9:02 AM

Arutz Sheva 7 – Israel National News

IDF Private Eden Atias, 19, of Natzrat Illit, has died after an Arab terrorist stabbed him in the neck and upper body in the Central Bus Station at Afula, in northern Israel, Wednesday. The attack took place inside a bus. Pvt. Atias was on his way to the military base in which he served.

“The Israeli soldier who was stabbed this morning by a Palestinian on a bus at the Afula bus station has died of his wounds in hospital,” police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told AFP.

The attacker has been identified as an Arab aged 16 from the Palestinian Authority city of Jenin, who is reportedly staying illegally in Israel. He attacked the soldier at about 8:45 a.m., and stabbed him repeatedly. Civilians who were present at the scene neutralized him and stopped the attack at a certain point.

The soldier received initial medical care on the spot and was taken to Haemek Hospital in very serious condition.

An eyewitness named Tal told IDF Radio that she was walking past the bus when people began shouting “terrorist!” and a large commotion ensued. “The terrorist tried to run away but the police managed to catch him,” she added.

Another eyewitness told Maariv that the soldier, who is about 18, got on the bus at Nazareth, together with the terrorist. The soldier fell asleep on the way to Afula and at a certain point, the Arab began stabbing him over and over again, until other passengers grabbed hold of him and alerted security forces.

IDF Radio said that the attacker confessed that he left his home and got on the bus at Nazareth, with the intent of stabbing civilians, supposedly as revenge for the fact that his uncles are being held in Israeli jails.

The attack appears typical of the terror strikes that the Palestinian Authority (PA) under Mahmoud Abbas encourages through incitement, in a way that allows the PA to maintain that it is innocent of actually planning and organizing attacks, and that it did not send the terrorists on their missions.

Israel has weakly protested the PA’s non-stop incitement for years, but has never gone as far as to make “peace talks” with the PA conditional on a complete cessation of incitement.

PA residents are routinely exposed to television, radio and printed media content that glorifies murderers of Jews and encourages violence against Israel. When a PA youth seeks to attack Jews, he does so knowing that he has the full moral backing and encouragement of the PA, which will then glorify him, pay him a salary when he is jailed, and demand to free him in an Israeli “gesture.”

The Jews’ Valid Claim/ or Beneath Islamic Propaganda

By Justin O. Smith

August 1, 2013 at 10:01am

Justin Smith Facebook Note

The following text is anti-Jewish more than it is anti-Semitic, but it is still anti-Semitic from both a historical and a moral viewpoint concerning the controversial issues surrounding Israel and the “Palestinian state”. Professor James M. Rubenstein, author of ‘The Cultural Landscape: An Introduction to Human Geography” is either knowingly advancing the islamofascists’ propaganda and agenda, or, possibly, his own education indoctrinated him to such a point that he received a Ph.D. despite his ignorance in the field; whatever the case, Mrs. Laurie Cardoza-Moore and the Jewish community are rightfully concerned and should be quite angry with the Williamson County School Board, especially when one understands the false premise and assumptions associated with the text.

From the text: Distinguishing terrorism from other acts of political violence can be difficult. For example, if a Palestinian suicide bomber kills several dozen Israeli teenagers in a Jerusalem restaurant, is it an act of terrorism or wartime retaliation against Israeli government policies and army actions? Competing arguments are made: Israel’s sympathizers denounce the act as a terrorist threat to the country’s existence, whereas advocates to the Palestinian cause argue that longstanding injustices and Israeli army attacks on ordinary Palestinian civilians provoked the act.

The word “Palestine” does not occur in the Old or New Testament at all; after the Jewish revolt of Bar-Kokhba in 135 AD, the Romans renamed Judea to be “Palestine” or “Syria Palestina”, with the intention of obliterating its Jewish identity. The earlier name never disappeared, and as late as the 4th century, Christian author Epiphanus referred to “Palestine, that is Judea”.

The “Arab Palestinian” was never a serious age-old or even century-old national identity. The term was introduced as a tool after the 1967 Six Day War, and, according to the British Palestine Royal Commission Report, “In the twelve centuries or more that have passed since the Arab conquest… In the realm of thought, in science or in letters, it (Palestine) made no contribution to modern civilization”.

As Rosemary Sayigh wrote in the ‘Journal of Palestine Studies’, “a strongly defined Palestinian identity did not emerge until 1968, two decades after expulsion”. It had taken twenty years to establish the “myth” prescribed by Muslim activist Musa Alami.

Upon the emergence of the Sovereign Jewish State of Israel in 1948, there were no more than 430,000 genuine Arab refugees, although the UN asserted 500,000 officially. 750,000 Jews were dispossessed and forcibly expelled during this same period.

President Truman’s International Development Advisory Board, March 7, 1951, and the Arab sponsored Institute for Palestine Studies in Beirut agreed that 68% of the Arab refugees left in 1948 at the urging of Arab leaders and Islamic imams, rather than any expulsion by the Israeli military. As some Arab leaders demanded the “return” of the “expelled” refugees, Emile Ghoury, Secretary of the Arab Higher Command, told the ‘Beirut Telegraph’ on August 6, 1948: “It is inconceivable that the refugees should be sent back to their homes while they are occupied by Jews… It would serve as a first step toward Arab recognition of the state of Israel and Partition”.

From Khaled Al-Azym’s 1972 memoirs (Syrian Prime Minister 1948): “Since 1948 it is we who demanded the return of the refugees…while it is we who made them leave… We brought disaster upon…Arab refugees by…bringing pressure upon them to leave…We have rendered them dispossessed…Then we exploited them in executing crimes of murder, arson and throwing bombs upon…men, women and children – all this in the service of political purposes”.

In 1958, former director of the UN Relief and Work Agency, Ralph Galloway declared emphatically that “the Arab states do not want to solve the refugee problem. They want to keep it as an open sore… a weapon against Israel. Arab leaders do not give a damn whether Arab refugees live or die!”

During the 1950s, a population exchange occurred between India and Pakistan, as 8.5 million Sikhs and Hindus from Pakistan fled to India, and approximately 6.5 million Muslims moved from India to Pakistan; a precedent for such population transfers was set by Turkey and Bulgaria in 1913, and in 1923, Turkey and Greece exchanged 1.25 million Greeks and 3.55 million Turks.

Why wouldn’t such a population exchange have worked with the Jews and the Muslims?

A mutual repatriation obviously could not be demanded if one side of an exchange had fled from intolerable conditions and could not return. Hence, the Arab lie emerged that the “alien” Jews had lived harmoniously among the “native” Arab Muslims before Israel became a state and the mythical “Palestinian” was created.

In Egypt after the Sinai Campaign of 1956, thousands of Jews were interned without trial, while still others were served with deportation papers and ordered to leave within days; their property was confiscated, their assets frozen.

In Iraq, Zionism became a capital crime, and Jews were hanged in the center of Baghdad, in front of cheering crowds of Muslims. Although no laws authorized the confiscation of Jewish property in Iraq before 1950, the Jews were stripped of millions of dollars through economic discrimination and government extortion.

Anti-Jewish broadcasts from Egypt in response to the partition of Palestine resulted in the December 2, 1947 pogrom in Aden. Eighty-two Jews were murdered, scores more were wounded, while 111 Jewish stores were robbed bare and over 200 Jewish homes and four synagogues were burned to the ground; Aden’s 1958 riots directed violence and murder at the Jewish community once again; after the 1967 Six Day War, it became apparent that the islamofascists were preparing to massacre what remained of the Jewish community, and the British evacuated them. And this scene was repeated time and again across the entire Arab Muslim world!

Reverend James Parkes observed in 1949: It was only politically that the Jews lost their land. They never abandoned it physically, nor did they renounce their claim to their nation… the only continuous claim that exists. The Jews never submitted to assimilation into various victorious populations even after successive conquerors had devastated the Jewish organizational structure.

Buried beneath the propaganda of the Arab nations, the Organization for Islamic Cooperation and the islamofascists, one finds that more than 40 Jewish communities survived and could be traced in the 6th century, despite physical violence against the Jews by the post-Roman Christians and Muslims. Twelve of these towns are on the coast, in the Negev, and east of Jordan (Transjordan and the “Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan”), and thirty-one villages are in Galilee and the Jordan Valley.

After the 1973 Yom Kippur War, Albert Memmi, a Tunisian-born writer, responded to a Libyan official’s invitation to Libyan Jews to return to Libya:

“Is it true that you have said that the Jews have always lived at peace in the Arab countries? And that you have nothing against Jews, only Zionists?…The error which may have been made at Deir Yassine (Palestinian Jewish Irgun and Stern troops inadvertently killed 250 Arab civilians in 1948) is constantly thrown in our faces. Ah, but we have undergone a hundred Deir Yassines, a thousand Deir Yassines! And not only in Russia, Germany or Poland, but also at the hand of the Arab people; yet the world has never been upset over it!… if you really wanted to avoid having us come together on this particular bit of land,… Israel…, then why did you hound us and expel us from the regions over which your power extends?”

Today and despite John Kerry’s new “peace-talk” initiative between Israel and the “Palestinians”/Arab Muslims, the islamofascists in Gaza and the West Bank, especially Hamas, perpetuate this false national identity, and in so doing, they sacrifice the wellbeing and lives of the “Arab refugees”; they hope only to accomplish, politically and through continued, if sporadic, terrorism, the destruction of an unacceptable sovereign Jewish state… dhimmi Jews from Islamic lands now acting as their equals… as it represents an affront to all Islamic nations.

Muslim propaganda has effectively hidden the fact that Arab/Islamic nations have virtually purged their Jews, as the European Union, the United States and the rest of the world ignores the plight Arab-born Jews have faced historically – the camps, squalor, displacement, theft of property and a loss of security and murdered kinsmen; raise the question of “Middle East refugees” with any number of academics, such as Professor Rubenstein, professionals or just regular workers, and they refer to the Arab “Palestinians”. It is as though the painful and horrifically sad story of the Arab-born Jewish refugees had been erased: the revisionist history of the anti-Jewish Leftists and islamofascists must be rejected and corrected!
