Illegal Immigration Destroys American Lives

Mollie Tibbetts – Cristhian Rivera

Molly Tibbetts’ body was discovered in a corn field in Iowa recently. The sad discovery confirmed what most Americans (except the Tibbetts family) had guessed already. What most Americans did not realize Molly was murdered by an illegal alien named Cristhian Rivera.

Preliminary autopsy results from the state medical examiner’s office also determined that 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts was the victim of a homicide, the Division of Criminal Investigation announced in a press release.

The agency did not release additional details about the injuries Tibbetts suffered or what caused them, but said further examination of her body may result in additional findings. Autopsy reports are confidential under Iowa law, except for the cause and manner of death.

The man charged with first-degree murder in Tibbetts’ death, Cristhian Bahena Rivera, allegedly led investigators to her body early Tuesday in a cornfield outside of Brooklyn, Iowa, the town where she was last seen last month. While investigators were confident then that the body was that of Tibbetts, the autopsy definitively confirmed her identity. Illegal Immigration Destroys American Lives

It Could Be Your Daughter

By Justin O. Smith

Sent 8/23/2018 11:19 AM

America must put an end to the murders of Americans committed by illegal aliens each year, because even one such murder is one too many, in light of the fact that any particular criminal illegal alien should never have been in the country in the first place, just as in the case of Cristhian Rivera, who was charged with the first degree murder of Mollie Tibbetts, a college sophomore, on August 21st, after a month long search finally led to her body. The murder of this poor little girl, frightened beyond all imagination and tortured and left dead, like so much garbage, in a cornfield twelve miles southeast of Brooklyn, Iowa, is one more murder in a long string of such murders by illegal aliens, due to our government’s failure to secure our borders and properly defend America’s citizens.

Consider the case of Grant Ronnebeck. He was murdered on January 22, 2015; over a pack of cigarettes, by Apolinar Altamirano who was out on bond from a previous conviction, while ICE determined if he should be deported. Thousands of cases just like this can be reviewed, from over the past decade.

Not a single American will ever forget that Kate Steinle was murdered on July 21, 2015; by an illegal alien, who had been deported repeatedly, as she strolled down Pier 14 in San Francisco with her father. If not for San Francisco’s sanctuary policy protecting illegal aliens, he would have been incarcerated that day, and Kate would still be alive and with her family. There are many other similar stories, with different names, such as Nisa Mickens, Kayla Cuevas, Sarah Root, and Ronald de Silva, that all end with the same results and the tragic deaths of decent and good Americans.

How many more Americans must die at the hands of illegal aliens, before our leaders say, “No More” and arise to meet the problem head on and say unequivocally, that America is a sovereign nation and foreigners will respect her borders and our laws or face harsh consequences? This is a question the Democrats seem unlikely to ever answer honestly, as they are more interested in the defense of illegal aliens and MS-13, as their party and their strong-arm foot soldiers of Antifa mount attacks aimed at eradicating Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

When asked about Mollie Tibbets’ murder by CNN reporter John Berman, Senator Elizabeth Warren, responded:

“I’m so sorry for the family here, and I know this is hard for the family … But one of the things we have to remember is: We need an immigration system that is effective. That focuses on where real problems are.”

What if it was someone you loved, one of your children, Elizabeth Warren, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer? We all know you too, and all the other Democrats, would be moving heaven and earth to get those borders secure and fix the loopholes and cracks in E-Verify, like the one that enabled Rivera to circumvent Yarrabee Farms’ check on him, by using a stolen ID.

Rivera has been in the U.S. approximately seven years. The last four years, Rivera has worked at Yarrabee Farms, a dairy farm owned by Craig Lang, a prominent Iowa Republican.

During his August 21st rally in Charleston, West Virginia, President Trump told the crowd:

“You heard about today with the illegal alien coming in very sadly from Mexico, and you saw what happened to that incredible, beautiful, young woman. It should’ve never happened. Illegally in our country. We’ve had a huge impact, but immigration laws are so bad. But we’re getting them changed.”

Governor Kim Reynolds (R-Iowa) stated:

“As Iowans, we are heartbroken, and we are angry. We are angry that a broken immigration system allowed a predator like this to live in our community, and we will do all we can to bring justice to Mollie’s killer.”

However prevalent crime is, or isn’t, among this demographic of illegal aliens is really an irrelevant point. All that should matter is that they are here illegally and their violent crimes have been responsible for a significant number of American deaths.

While some disingenuous bleeding-heart liberals, such as Ali Noorani, director of the National Immigration Forum, suggest that the illegal alien community are not at all prone to crime, the evidence shows otherwise. The General Accounting Office documented that criminal aliens (legal and illegal) committed 25,064 murders in America, from 2003 to 2009. Even more disturbing, the GAO’s study of the criminal histories of 55,322 illegal aliens, updated and published in 2011, revealed that by the time of their arrests and incarceration, their total number of arrests approached 460,000, an average of 8.3 arrests per illegal alien, with nearly 700,000 crimes committed. Last year alone, ICE arrested illegal aliens with 48,000 charges or convictions for assault, 11,000 for sex crimes and 1800 for homicides and murders.

During the August 22nd airing of ‘Fox and Friends’, commentator Tomi Lahren summed things up nicely, saying:

“Illegal immigration kills Americans. It’s Mollie Tibbetts [today], and it could be your daughter, your sister, your friend tomorrow.”

As a father of two daughters, who also has two granddaughters, I can imagine the pain and grief that the parents of the victims of these brutal and unforgivable murders are forced to bear and endure, all of it so unnecessary, all of it preventable. These murders are an indictment of all those excuse makers for criminals who break our laws, and it is certainly, in my eyes, an offense of willful negligence and, in some cases, evil and scheming complicity, by men and women sworn to defend the Constitution and America, advocating their Open Borders agenda  and working at cross purposes to our founding principles and America’s sovereignty and best interests.

Americans have been betrayed by Congressional Democrats and weak liberal Republicans for decades, while the media falsely portrays illegal immigration as a victimless phenomena and these criminal illegal aliens continue to give us the middle finger, burn our American flag and laugh at our laws. Short of standing armed on our borders and in every U.S. city, in citizen militias, and driving out the illegals where they are found, we must force Congress to do its job and deport all 30 million plus illegal aliens and secure our borders; and YES, it can be done. We must not allow Congress to stay the course in their quest for a pliable electorate and building a serf class, because illegal immigration destroys American communities and American lives; and just as it took everything from Mollie, her very life, it will take away young Americans’ futures, too.

Immigration Reform Thoughts

Looking at a Senator James Lankford Email

John R. Houk

© March 15, 2018

I live in Oklahoma. One of my Senators is Republican James Lankford. Yesterday I received what is probably a form email from Senator Lankford addressing Immigration reform and Border Security.

Since my name is used in the salutation, the Senator’s email is in response to a petitioned I signed or an immigration reform organization’s form email that I electronically signed. Either way, my signature was sent so long ago I don’t recall who I partnered with to share my feelings as an Oklahoman voter to Senator Lankford.

I vaguely remember that the issue was the Senator was supportive of a Border Wall for National Security against illegal border crossings. I do not recall the specifics of my displeasure with the Senator I did vote for in the past. The Senator Lankford email is what jogged my sketchy memory.

I did respond to Senator Lankford’s explanation of his Senate voting options. You should read the email I am cross posting, but since my response is shorter, I am posting that first. Some will agree with my thoughts. Some will partially agree. I have a suspicion some will strongly disagree with my favorability of inclusion of current benefactors of the so-called DACA dudes Obama unconstitutionally allowed to remain in the USA. The irony is I am with President Trump on giving immigration status to 1.8 million illegals as opposed to the fake Dem-proposal of (I think) 600,000 illegals.

Here was my email response to Senator Lankford:

Senator Lankford,

I’d rather jump at 1.8 million employed illegal immigrants to have a Green Card to become legal. I do not consider drug trafficking, human trafficking or gang membership to be gainful employment contributing to the benefit of the communities they live in. Those illegals need to be arrested then deported or imprisoned depending on the laws broken other than being just illegal.

BUT, before any move to legally absorbing gainfully employed illegals, border security needs to be enhanced. I appreciate your suggestion of expanding technology for a less expensive securing of the border, but I gotta tell ya; I don’t care how many billions taxpayers pay for a wall built even in difficult terrain. I’ve listened to various proposals by the private contractors and I am aware it is a physical possibility to accomplish a border wall. Combining tech with a wall provides at the very least that the government is serious about stemming the flow of illegal immigrants into the USA.

I am confidant many of my fellow Oklahoman voters feel the same way. So, by all means. Work on reforming the status of gainfully employed illegals, throw the book at the horrid criminal illegals and dear god, please end chain immigration in favor of merit immigration. That would make this voter happy.

And below is Senator James Lankford’s email sent to me and probably his Oklahoma constituents.

Dear Mr. John Houk,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns on the congressional plan to fix our nation’s broken immigration system.  I have heard from other Oklahomans like you who also sent emails and letters or made phone calls to share their thoughts and ideas on proposals to repair our nation’s immigration policies.

As a member of the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, I remain actively involved in conversations and negotiations surrounding proposals to repair the faulty immigration policies in our country.  My staff and I have had daily conversations and meetings for the past several months with Members of all political parties, in both Chambers of Congress, and with the Administration to develop policies that focus on the economic and security needs of our nation and can receive enough votes to become law.

Though immigration has been a contentious issue for some time, its resolution did not have a deadline.  However, on September 5, 2017, President Trump rescinded the 2012 Obama Administration initiative Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) because while he agreed that DACA recipients should receive protection, it is inappropriate for any president to create the program through executive action.  DACA provided temporary relief from removal for individuals who entered the United States as minors, most often with their parents, but it did not provide legal certainty for the DACA recipients or provide additional security for our nation.

When President Trump rescinded the program, he set the effective end date to be March 5, 2018, which gave Congress six months to provide legislative permanency for these individuals and time to include provisions to prevent a similar situation from happening in the future  It is worth noting that DACA-eligible individuals were at no time given the opportunity to go through the naturalization process unless they returned to their home countries for at least 10 years and then began the application process.

As you may know, the White House released its framework for immigration reform and border security on January 25, 2018.  I share the opinions of the President and other Administration officials who believe a permanent solution for individuals who qualify for DACA should be paired with border and entry security, reasonable limitations on family unification visas, and the elimination of the convoluted visa lottery.  The framework of this agreement was based on four pillars that Democrats and Republicans agreed to with President Trump during a White House meeting earlier in January.

As part of the negotiations to fund the government after a shutdown in January, during the week of February 12, the Senate opened the floor for proposals and debate to solve our nation’s immigration issues.  Throughout the week several groups of Senators proposed a variety of plans and ideas to create a solution for DACA-eligible individuals, but only one of the proposals, the SECURE and SUCCEED Act, included the necessary reforms in the White House framework and could have received enough votes to also pass the House.  I joined Senators Grassley (IA), Cornyn (TX), Tillis (NC), Perdue (GA), Cotton (AR), Ernst (IA), Corker (TN), Isakson (GA) and Alexander (TN) to introduce the Act.

Each of the four bills debated in the Senate received bipartisan support, but every bill fell short of the 60 votes needed to proceed to a final vote.

I have heard from some Oklahomans who have asked why I did not support alternate proposals that contained aspects of the four pillars.  For example, one proposal included funding for border security, but not until 2020.  Even then, the bill restricted how the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) could use those fund, and it included no enforcement provisions.  The bill created a convoluted process that could lead to a rapid pathway to citizenship for a large group of undocumented individuals.

For all other undocumented individuals in the country, it provided deferred action and a guarantee they could remain in the country illegally unless they committed a felony or three misdemeanors.  Regarding family unification, the bill’s proposal did nothing to help clear the visa backlog of family members who have already been sponsored by American citizens.  Another proposal provided a pathway to citizenship for many individuals with a variety of immigration statuses but authorized no funds for border security.  These provisions made the proposals impossible to support.

I believe strong border and entry security is an important step to necessary step to reform our immigration system.  Every nation, including ours, has the right to secure its borders and control its entry process for safety and economic development.  It is important to remember that the southern border is full of diverse terrain including mountains, desert, and the Rio Grande River.  I do not believe a 2,000-mile fence alone is the best and most cost-effective solution.  Technology like tethered drones, seismic sensors, and vehicle barriers are very effective in many areas of the desert Southwest.

The SECURE and SUCCEED Act appropriates $25 billion for a variety of border and entry security.  DHS has developed a ten-year plan for increased personnel and for a variety of infrastructure such as a wall system, fencing, levees, technology, and other physical barriers.  It also included necessary methods of enforcement, such as the permanent authorization of the voluntary electronic employment verification system (E-Verify) and the enactment of Kate’s law.

In addition to border and entry security, Oklahomans on both sides of the immigration debate are rightly concerned about permanency for DACA recipients.  The SECURE and SUCCEED Act provides an opportunity for 1.8 million DACA-eligible immigrants to earn naturalization in 10 to 12 years.  Much of this proposal mimics my original proposal from September 25, 2017, called the SUCCEED Act.  You can read more about the SUCCEED Act on my website

It is important to note that under DACA, recipients were not granted legal immigrant status, were not put on a pathway to citizenship, and did not have the right to vote in our elections.  Additionally, they are barred from receiving any federal public benefits, which would continue while the individual has conditional permanent residency.

Regarding family unification, our current system allows individuals who have earned a naturalization to petition for numerous extended family members, who in some instances may not otherwise qualify for a visa.  The SECURE and SUCCEED act would place reasonable limitations on family-based immigration to allow spouses and minor children visas to immigrate with their parent or spouse.  Other family members could still come to the U.S. for extended visits, but they would not get automatic citizenship eligibility.  This proposal is similar to the proposal made by the Clinton Administration in the 90s and the “Gang of Eight” bill in 2018.  It is important to note that this change would not affect individuals who have already petitioned for extended family members to enter the United States.

Currently, the Diversity Visa program provides green cards for up to 50,000 immigrants each year from countries with low rates of emigration to the United States.  Prospective immigrants register with the Department of State, which then selects applicants at random.  Both Republicans and Democrats have supported legislation to get rid of the diversity visa program in the past.  Similar to the Senate’s proposal in 2013, the SECURE and SUCCEED Act would end the lottery program and reallocate the visas to eliminate the existing family-based and employment-based immigration backlogs.

As I have said before, our nation was built on the strength and diversity of legal immigrants.  However, unchecked illegal immigration can create a serious threat to our nation’s security and a financial strain on our economy.  While I believe that all people are made in God’s image and deserve dignity and respect, it is reasonable to expect those entering and living within our borders to obey the laws of our nation.  Although the debate can get heated, we must remember that immigration is about real, live human beings, not just numbers on a page.

Although the SECURE and SUCCEED Act was limited to the four pillars I mentioned above, there are many other areas of our nation’s immigration system that need to be repaired by Congress, such as visa and Temporary Protected Status reform.

Congress needs to create clear and consistent immigration laws that establishes a better legal immigration system to disincentivize illegal immigration. As you may know, the March 5th deadline for DACA recipients became somewhat obsolete due to temporary federal court orders, but I will continue to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle, in both Chambers of Congress, and in the Administration to come up with long-term solutions to fit the needs to the American people.

I hope this information is helpful to you.  Please feel free to contact me again via email at www.lankford.senate.gov for more information about my work in the United States Senate for all of us.

In God We Trust,

James Lankford

The Great Negotiator

Justin Smith and many Conservatives looking at President Trump’s willingness to negotiate on allowing illegal aliens to remain in America is viewed as a betrayal of one his campaign promises.

In my humble opinion some kind of give and take is necessary to end legislative gridlock. So, if illegals are proven working individuals that pay taxes, I don’t have a problem with amnesty. HOWEVER, if illegal aliens are living on taxpayer social programs, those illegal aliens need to receive the boot.

ALSO, if the Dems will not negotiate on effective border control – e.g. A WALL – Then blame the Dems and give all illegal aliens the boot. If illegal aliens cry racism, they should direct their anger toward recalcitrant Dems.

Thus, I am not totally on board with Justin, but in some ways, I am willing to be harsher with the blame falling squarely on the Dems.

The Great Negotiator

By Justin O. Smith

Sent 1/13/2018 4:28 PM

The negotiations on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), opened under a false sense of urgency by President Trump, the “stable genius” and “great negotiator”, and sixteen senators and seven House members, on Tuesday January 9, 2018 in an ineffectual move to protect 800,000 DACA recipients from potential deportation, once DACA ends on March 5th. These negotiations represent the lowest moment of the Trump presidency, nothing more and nothing less than another amnesty for illegal aliens and the Democrats’ first step towards a full amnesty for nearly forty million illegal aliens (government stats 11 to 12 million), a betrayal of America.

If the proposed Dream Act of 2017, the replacement bill of choice, introduced by Senators Dick Durbin (D-ILL) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is any indication of the legislative “solution”, America will be forced to give 3.3 million illegal aliens a conditional lawful permanent resident status. Roughly 1.8 million would certainly become naturalized citizens over the next decade, if not sooner, with voting rights.

What happened to President Trump’s 2016 campaign promise to deport all illegal aliens?

The switch came after his advisors told him that this DACA amnesty is popular with both Democrats and liberal Republicans. He probably also noted left-leaning polls, like in Politico, that show 54 percent of Americans want to give the “Dreamers” a path to citizenship.

I stated in October 2015, that “Trump’s values shift like the changing of one’s underwear from day to day, depending on his personal agenda and who had his ear at the moment”. Ann Coulter, a conservative journalist, seemed to concur, as she recently stated, “The president cares only about his press, has no grasp of details of policy, and simply agrees with the last person to speak.”

Under no illusions, one might wish to see our leaders vote to deport all illegal aliens, but the reality of the matter suggests some form of amnesty will be passed eventually, unless there is a loud and massive opposition immediately voiced. While House Republicans are forcefully pushing President Trump’s demands on the wall and heightened security, along with the addition of thousands of federal immigration enforcement officers and judges and E-Verify, through the Goodlatte-McCaul bill, the Senate is prepared to give amnesty in exchange for nothing.

The Goodlatte-McCaul bill also ends chain migration and the diversity visa lottery, which allowed the last two Islamic terrorists into the country and the attacks on New York City. It allows the Justice Department to withhold grants from sanctuary cities too.

It should also be noted, that after the Department of Homeland Security detained a DACA recipient with gang ties, early in 2017, it acknowledged revoking the DACA status of over 1500 recipients, due to criminal conviction or gang affiliation. How many other criminals have evaded the department’s scrutiny?

To his credit, President Trump stated: “It has to be a bill where we’re able to secure our border. Drugs are pouring into our country at a record pace. A lot of people coming in that we can’t have.”

Congress could accomplish the same things, without granting a blanket amnesty, if they really wanted to do so, couldn’t they? But the liberals of both parties aren’t working for America, are they?

Curiously, the Great Negotiator’s negotiating skills are less than impressive, given Republicans hold the House, the Senate and the presidency. It is the Democrats, not the president, who are driving a hard bargain.

The Dreamers have no right to be here in the first place, since they or their parents broke U.S. law, and they deserve that right even less, when they display 1794 maps of Mexico and wave the Mexican flag in our streets. They have no say over anything America chooses to grant them; and yet, these Dreamers beseech our Congress for America’s solicitude and benevolent care, while standing on the steps of our state houses and at the Capital in D.C. and demand that any DACA replacement legislation be a “clean” bill.

During the meeting, when Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) asked President Trump if he would “be agreeable” to a “clean” bill, it was obvious that he didn’t understand that meant leaving out his demands, like more border security and the wall, because he replied: “Yeah … I would like to do that. Go ahead. I think a lot of people would like to see that, but I think we have to do DACA first.”

Representative Kevin McCarthy, a liberal Republican, interceded, fortunately. He clarified for the President that he was, in fact, acquiescing to an amnesty bill absent any border security provisions.

Later, flanked by Senator Dick Durbin (D-ILL) and Representative Steny Hoyer (D-MD), President Trump said: “We’ll do DACA and we can certainly start comprehensive immigration reform the following afternoon. Okay? We’ll take an hour off and then we’ll start.” Whether the president understood it or not, “comprehensive immigration reform” stands for amnesty.

To be clear, Congress has no moral or legal obligation or responsibility to grant amnesty to anyone who violated our immigration laws or knowingly put their children in an awful legal predicament. Let the March 5th deadline pass, let deportations proceed, and let the Dreamers sort it out, case by case, in immigration court, like they should have done over all these years.

Complicating negotiations further is a decision by a liberal activist judge in San Francisco on Tuesday evening, January 9th, that temporarily banned the Trump administration from ending DACA. Until Congress takes immigration policy matters out of the Courts’ jurisdiction, invoking that right under Article III of the Constitution, our borders will never be fully secured and illegals will continue to arrive at our borders en masse.

This DACA bill and any general amnesty for the total millions of other illegal aliens helps and benefits the illegal alien population and the Democratic Party only. Within a year of being granted residency or a path to citizenship, activist judges will grant full citizenship, and the bulk of these illegals will expand the Democratic voter base, setting aside all of Trump’s “wins” and border security gains; and Democratic Socialists will get to take permanent control of U.S. elections, laws and governments, for decades to come.

A recently leaked memo from the Center For American Progress reads, in part: “The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also  a critical component to the Democratic Party’s electoral success … “.

An attempt to destroy our borders forever more is still underway as “elite” liberals from both parties, backed by U.S. and global billionaires, seek to force American citizens towards a regional and then global governance. They present America a false solution, in these DACA proposals, on the pretext it serves America’s interests and does not harm our society at large, for their own self-interest, and these members of Congress, who are supposed to represent Americans, not illegal aliens, are eroding and undermining the sanctity of the entire legal system and, by extension, our Republic.

Trump’s New 70-Point Immigration Plan Is Bad News For…

President Trump’s 70-Point plan on immigration reform pretty much hits the head of the nail on accomplishing his campaign promise. He even offers a compromise bone on DACA to the Leftist Dems if they go along with funding The Wall and strengthening border security. But let’s be clear! The only way this plan doesn’t get through Congress is will be due to RINO members joining the Dem hysterical lies.

Trump’s New 70-Point Immigration Plan Is Bad News For DACA, Sanctuary Cities And Violent Gang Members

“…restore the rule of law to our immigration system, prioritize America’s safety and security, and end the lawlessness.”

By Jack Davis

October 9, 2017 at 7:27am

Western Journalism

President Donald Trump unveiled a vast overhaul of America’s immigration policies Sunday night.

The package would require that in exchange for any legislation to allow children of illegal immigrants to remain in the United States, Congress must approve funding a wall along the southern border, approve curbs on federal grants to sanctuary cities and fix the leaky border to stop potential gang members from crossing into the U.S.

Trump’s package of proposals would also give federal agents more ability to stop illegal immigrants at the border, detain them if they slip into the country and deport them faster.

“These findings outline reforms that must be included as part of any legislation addressing the status of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients,” Trump wrote in a letter to Congress. “Without these reforms, illegal immigration and chain migration, which severely and unfairly burden American workers and taxpayers, will continue without end.”

The proposals received support of many lawmakers and officials.

“President Trump has put forth a series of proposals that will restore the rule of law to our immigration system, prioritize America’s safety and security, and end the lawlessness. These are reasonable proposals that will build on the early success of President Trump’s leadership. This plan will work. If followed it will produce an immigration system with integrity and one in which we can take pride. Perhaps the best result will be that unlawful attempts to enter will continue their dramatic decline,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., praised the administration for “a serious proposal” and said that “we cannot fix the DACA problem without fixing all of the issues that led to the underlying problem of illegal immigration in the first place.”

When Trump announced that he wanted to phase out the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which allowed children of illegal immigrants to remain in the United States, he said he was open to a deal with Congress to allow the estimated 800,000 DACA participants to remain.

“Anything that is done addressing the status of DACA recipients needs to include these three reforms and solve these three problems,” a senior White House official told The Washington Times. “If you don’t solve these problems then you’re not going to have a secure border, you’re not going to have a lawful immigration system and you’re not going to be able to protect American workers.”

“We would expect Congress to include all the reforms in any package that addresses the status of the DACA recipients,” one White House aide said on the conference call with reporters. “Other views had their fair day in the democratic process.”

But Democrats were outraged and accused Trump of racism.

“The administration can’t be serious about compromise or helping the Dreamers if they begin with a list that is anathema to the Dreamers, to the immigrant community and to the vast majority of Americans,” Senate Minority Leader Church Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said in a joint statement Sunday evening, according to The Washington Post. “We told the President at our meeting that we were open to reasonable border security measures … but this list goes so far beyond what is reasonable. This proposal fails to represent any attempt at compromise.”

Others were not so restrained in their opinions of Trump.

“Congress should reject this warped, anti-immigrant policy wish list. The White House wants to use dreamers as bargaining chips to achieve the administration’s deportation and detention goals,” said Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Tex.), vice chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus

Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., called the package of reforms “an extension of the white supremacist agenda.”

He said it is “fanciful thinking that you can sit down with a man who has based his presidential aspirations and has never wavered from his xenophobic positions. I never understood — I just never got it, how you go from Charlottesville and white supremacists to reaching an agreement with him.”

Deadly Consequences

By Justin O. Smith

Sent: 7/10/2015 9:56 PM

Kate Steinle’s murder was one terrible tragedy in a sea of thousands that are committed each year by criminal illegal aliens, who are too often gang members. And her death is especially sad and tragic, because it was so unnecessary and preventable, if only San Francisco had not been a sanctuary city, allowing illegals to come and go as they pleased; Kate’s murderer had already been deported five previous times.

In the days that followed, the Associated Press reported on several more murders by illegal aliens: On July 2nd, Traci Lemley and Jeremy Carrico were murdered in San Antonio, TX by the Mexican Mafia; Jose Valenzuela was charged with the murders of Michael Carrecia and his wife; on July 3rd, Juan Ramirez, an illegal alien in Washington state, was charged with the murder of an 18 year old young lady and her baby boy, setting them on fire; on July 4th, a Haitian “voodoo priest” was arrested for child rape in Florida.

And, while individual murders are a horror unto themselves, there also is an evident national security concern regarding Islamic illegal aliens, such as Mohamed Mamdouh, who plotted to detonate explosives in Manhattan synagogues in 2011. He subsequently pleaded guilty to three charges and received a five year prison sentence.

In 2009, Steve Camarota, from the Center for Immigration Studies, found that 22% of felons in Maricopa County, Arizona were illegal aliens. He also observed that 43 of the 76 fugitive murders most wanted by the FBI were foreign born at the time.

As Judicial Watch reported in 2014, 61,529 criminal cases were initiated by federal prosecutors, with 40% or 24,746 having been filed in court districts near the Mexican border. 12,123 were violent crimes.

Statistics from the state of California show that 95% of murder warrants in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens. 75% of the people on Los Angele’s most wanted list are illegal aliens. 25% of all California’s prisoners are Mexican nationals here illegally; and on a related note, 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens. [Potential Source Confirmation HERE and HERE]

In 2010, New York state prisons held more than 4,000 inmates from ten Latin American and Caribbean nations and fewer than 150 from Western European nations.

These statistics should not surprise anyone, since Hispanics now outnumber whites in California and New Mexico. Hispanics are now the largest minority group in 21 other states, including New York, Massachusetts, Texas, Oregon and Wyoming.

A great deal of our current crisis centering on illegal aliens stems from a lack of political will to catch and deport the illegals in Progressive majority states, and while past administrations have been less than diligent in this regard, the Obama administration has laid out the welcome mat for illegal aliens. His lead has indicated to sanctuary cities like San Francisco that they can facilitate catch and release as policy and refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

The Center for Immigration Studies released a map, on July 8th, of more than 200 sanctuary cities that span the U.S. These areas maintain policies, regulations, executive orders and laws they use to rebuff federal immigration law enforcement authorities and federal law, that authorizes U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to administratively deport illegal aliens without seeking criminal warrants or convictions from any court.

[CIS Sanctuary City Map]

Jessica Vaughn, CIS director of policy studies, said the number of sanctuary cities “might be closer to 300”, if one includes jurisdictions that provide welfare benefits, public housing, driver’s licenses or municipal ID cards.

The list of sanctuary cities includes Miami, FL _ Ann Arbor and Detroit, MI _ Denver, Fort Collins and Durango, CO _ Northampton, Springfield and Chelsea, MA _ and Phoenix, Mesa and Tucson, AZ. Virtually every major city in California, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon and Texas are included, along with, of all places, Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Washington, D.C.

It is surreal to now witness Hillary Clinton and Senators Barbara Boxer (CA) and Dianne Feinstein (CA) joining Donald Trump and other Republicans in condemnation of sanctuary policies. They have staunchly defended the right of cities to implement these catch-and-release policies in the past. And now, in a fit of hypocrisy, Sen. Feinstein recently stated, “The tragic death of MS Steinle could have been avoided if the Sheriff’s Department had notified ICE prior to the release of Sanchez, which would have allowed ICE to remove him from the country.”

MS Kathryn Steinle would still be alive today, if only the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department had done the right thing and called ICE. They didn’t need a warrant for pot or anything else in order to make that call and hold Sanchez until ICE could assume custody. All they needed was the fact that he crossed our border illegally. One phone call and Jim Steinle would be hugging a living, breathing young lady, rather than having to bury her on July 9th.

When questioned by an NBC Bay Area reporter, about San Francisco’s sanctuary policies and whether or not Mayor Ed Lee and San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi bore some responsibility for her daughter Kate’s death, Liz Sullivan said, “It would have been so much better if he [Sanchez] were gone. Absolutely.”

Now, Mayor Ed Lee, who championed San Francisco’s sanctuary ordinance when it was introduced in 2013, is bowing to the pressure, stating on Wednesday (the 8th) that he would speak to federal officials about participating in a new Obama administration deportation program.

[Blog Editor: I hate doing this to the flow of Justin’s erudite flow of Obama’s horrific agenda with illegal aliens in the USA, but I did some reading in conjunction SF Mayor Ed Lee would revise SF’s sanctuary city policy to participate in the “new Obama administration deportation program.” The Mayor’s so-called new direction will provide little comfort to the victims of illegal alien committed crimes. Check out these excerpts to show my point:

A series of legal setbacks have halted the government’s intensive preparations to move forward with President Obama’s executive actions shielding millions of illegal immigrants from deportation, even as community organizations continue a rapid push to get ready for the programs, according to U.S. officials and immigrant advocacy groups.

Since a federal judge first blocked the new programs in February, the Department of Homeland Security has suspended plans to ….

Yet inside and outside the Beltway, community groups are mobilizing, educating immigrants and training volunteers to help them apply for relief, even though it remains unclear whether the program will ever begin. Most recently, a foundation headed by billionaire George Soros, undaunted by the court rulings, pledged at least $8 million to that effort.

Obama announced in November that up to 5 million illegal immigrants would be eligible to be shielded from deportation — including undocumented parents of U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents — as long as they met certain criteria. … (Obama administration stops work on immigrant program; By Jerry Markon; WaPo; 6/7/15)

And from Allen West:

Within the past month, we’ve brought to your attention the release of some 3,700 “Threat Level One” illegal immigrants. We also shared — on Fox News’ “On the Record” with Greta von Susteren — the case of some 121 released illegal immigrants who’ve committed murders. … Now we learn even more about the fundamental transformation of America — perhaps we should be less concerned about n-words and Confederate flags.

As reported by the Washington Times:

The administration has ordered agents to begin ignoring many of the illegal immigrants they encounter in prisons and jails, as President Obama begins to implement a lesser-known part of his deportation amnesty policy — though his program isn’t sitting well with either side of the immigration debate.

In a nod to so-called sanctuary cities, the president’s policy prohibits U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents from targeting most illegal immigrants for deportation, including most of those who come into contact with state and local police.

Agents can still troll jails and prisons, but are told to no longer go after illegal immigrants with offenses such as drug possession, theft or fraud if it involved stealing an identity to try to further their unlawful presences in the U.S., according to details of the policy released Tuesday by the House Judiciary Committee.

First of all, President Obama’s claim that criminal illegal immigrants would be priority for deportations appears to be false. Secondly, any city or county not complying with our constitutional republic’s rule of law shouldn’t receive federal funding. It’s unconscionable that we have these violations of our statutes — …

Even some illegal immigrants who’ve been charged with serious felonies but are released by local authorities won’t be picked up by immigration agents until they’re actually convicted, the committee said.

Here’s what happens under Obama’s Priority Enforcement Program (PEP):

Under the program, agents will ignore many of the illegal immigrants they encounter and will change the type of cooperation they request from state and local police. Agents generally won’t ask a department to hold an immigrant who otherwise would be released, but instead will ask to be notified so they can be on hand for the release and have the immigrant transferred.

In limited instances, agents will still issue detainer requests, but will have to assert probable cause so police have a reason to detain people beyond their normal release dates.

“ICE will only seek transfer of individuals in state and local custody in specific, limited circumstances. ICE will only issue a detainer where an individual fits within DHS’s narrower enforcement priorities and ICE has probable cause that the individual is removable,” the agency said in a brochure describing the program. “In many cases, rather than issue a detainer, ICE will instead request notification (at least 48 hours, if possible) of when an individual is to be released. ICE will use this time to determine whether there is probable cause to conclude that the individual is removable.” (How come nobody seems to care about Obama’s latest illegal immigration move? By Allen West; AllenBWest.com; 6/24/15)

Hmm… Mayor Ed Lee, I can’t see how participating in the “new Obama administration deportation program” would have prevented the murder of Kate Steinle by illegal alien Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez with a criminal past would have been prevented.]

Donald Trump is absolutely right when he states: “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best … They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems to us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

Americans must demand an end to sanctuary cities and the catch-and-release policies that have such deadly consequences. Americans must demand an end to Obama’s open borders policies that come with too high a cost. Americans must demand the enforcement of existing immigration laws and the deportation of those caught here illegally. Americans must demand secure borders and a stop to the murders of our innocent citizens like Kate Steinle, whose family will love her and sorely miss her from this day on.

Forget Political Realists & IMPEACH OBAMA!

Sarah Palin makes a point

John R. Houk

© July 9, 2014

I am a huge supporter of the politics of Sarah Palin. Indeed, I might be one of the few Conservatives that wishes she would run for President in 2016. If she was able to run her own campaign without McCain or GOP Establishment restraints I believe she would BOLDLY eschew political correctness to say what needs to be said about the Leftist agenda to “fundamentally transform” America. Transform that is as in change the Original Intent of U. S. Constitution into the Left Wing moldable Living Constitution which a human ruler, elite or Political Party duping the electorate – can interpret the rule of law in any darn way that justifies a man-made rule of law.

A fine example of this is the Op-Ed Palin wrote for Breitbart calling for Obama’s impeachment. Most political realists believe even if Obama is impeached he would not be convicted by at the least 60 Senators that would be needed to convict. Meaning if a 59 majority voted to convict Obama and actually remove him from Office, he would remain President of the United States of America.

It is my opinion that if voters FINALLY get fed up with Obama dictatorship before he unilaterally pulls a Hitler and declares himself America’s new glorious leader AND begin sending calls for impeachment to both the House and Senate by tens of millions or more, then even Dems might jump on the impeachment train. At this point if voters too stupid or irresponsible to live in the same America they were born into, then those voters are irresponsible and deserve Obama’s despotic transformation.

OnI cross posted Sarah Palin’s June 13 Facebook thoughts on the idiocy of Obama’s handling of child illegal aliens inundating across the Mexican-US border. Her thoughts then were primarily on the concern of how children were being treated full of diseases and bad living conditions. She really had of hint of calling for impeachment then. In this Breitbart Op-Ed gets down to business calling for Obama’s impeachment and I say AMEN.

By Todd Cefaratti

TPNN

In a recent op-ed, former vice presidential candidate and Tea Party favorite Sarah Palin blasted away at the Obama Administration for their complete and utter unwillingness to enforce our nation’s existing laws.

In her op-ed penned for Breitbart News, Palin began by writing,

“Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president. His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, ‘no mas.’”

Her logic is sound; after all, it’s not like President Obama has been a shining example of executive authority and only suddenly began disregarding his oath of office. For years, this president-turned-dictator has hand-picked what laws will be enforced and, just as dangerously, created new laws unilaterally to be enforced.

Make no mistake: this isn’t about a slight stretching of executive power; this is dictatorial rule.

“Without borders, there is no nation,” Palin writes. “Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept. Discrediting the price paid for America’s exceptionalism over our history, he’s given false hope and taxpayer’s change to millions of foreign nationals who want to sneak into our country illegally. Because of Obama’s purposeful dereliction of duty an untold number of illegal immigrants will kick off their shoes and come on in, competing against Americans for our jobs and limited public services. There is no end in sight as our president prioritizes parties over doing the job he was hired by voters to do. Securing our borders is obviously fundamental here; it goes without saying that it is his job.”

Ultimately, Palin calls for the impeachment of Barack Obama. In bold terms, she states,

Who’s looking out for the American workers? Who has their backs? Who fights for them?

We should.

President Obama’s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here. It’s not going to get better, and in fact irreparable harm can be done in this lame-duck term as he continues to make up his own laws as he goes along, and, mark my words, will next meddle in the U.S. Court System with appointments that will forever change the basic interpretation of our Constitution’s role in protecting our rights.

It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment.

The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.”

She is absolutely right. Impeachment is not something to take lightly; it is a removal from office that occurs as a dire resort. If Americans simply sour on the policies of a president, that is one thing; but when a president purposefully ignores his Constitutional obligations and violates the laws of land and encourages others to do similarly, it’s time for the despot to go.

We have endured his abuses long enough and Sarah Palin is absolutely right. The time to impeach is now.

Justin Smith writes about the negative effects the Senate Immigration Reform Bill will have on America.

Here are some subjects within the article that I was not clear on thus I am going to assume many readers may have a lack of clarity as well. I add them for the reader’s benefit; however if you are confident about the terminology simply skip right to Justin’s article below this intro.

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) said in a statement about the CIS analysis that this is yet another sign the Schumer-Rubio amnesty legislation is not good policy. “This report from CIS is a bombshell,” Sessions said.

To my surprise, and no doubt the surprise of many, the Gang of Eight Immigration doubles the annual number of guest workers from today’s levels – a much larger increase than any of us had imagined. It adds four times more guest workers than the rejected proposal from 2007. Yet today’s employment situation is far worse than when Congress considered the 2007 proposal.

This large increase in guest workers guarantees that Americans’ wages will remain stagnant and that the unemployed will remain unemployed. This legislation surges the number of low-wage workers at the expense of the poor and middle class.

Sessions’ Senate colleague, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), expressed concerns with the guest worker program during a Senate floor speech on Wednesday. He argued that the bill’s visa programs for foreign workers are a ploy by big corporations to depress wages of American workers. Sanders particular attention to h-1b visas, and how middle-class Americans cannot find white collar jobs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. (ANALYSIS: IMMIGRATION BILL WILL BRING 600K MORE GUEST WORKERS PER YEAR; By MATTHEW BOYLE; Breitbart; 6/5/13)

Corker-Hoeven Amendment

A new 1,000-plus-page bill has just been filed incorporating the changes from the Corker–Hoeven amendment. Initial reports indicate that the amendment calls for:

·         A Comprehensive Southern Border Security Strategy to be deployed and operational, including the minimum technology and equipment listed in S. 744;

·         An additional 20,000 Border Patrol agents to be deployed, maintained, and stationed along the southern border;

·         The Southern Border Fencing Strategy to be implemented and at least 700 miles of fencing to be completed;

·         An entry/exit system to track visa overstays to be fully implemented at all airports and seaports; and

·         E-Verify to be fully implemented by all employers.

This may all sound great on paper, but dig a little deeper and you’ll see that, just like in the language of the bill, none of the border security measures in the Corker–Hoeven amendment have to be in place until illegal immigrants with registered provisional immigrant status are to receive green cards 10 years down the road. (Corker–Hoeven Immigration Amendment: Far from a Game Changer; By Jessica Zuckerman and David Inserra; The Foundry [a Heritage.org blog]; 6/21/13 4:14 pm)

Reconquista (Movement)

… We noted the rise of radical Latino identity groups composed of both naturalized immigrants and illegal aliens. These groups are being organized by World Communist Party apparatchiks, who are providing the ethnic incitement behind protests in Los Angeles and other cities from coast to coast.

What are illegal alliens (sic) demanding in protests on U.S. soil?

These were protests not just on behalf of “amnistia” — demanding amnesty and all rights shared by U.S. citizens; for many, they were a means of promoting the reunification of the southwestern United States with Mexico.

The “reconquista” movement is marked by the flying of the Mexican flag over the American flag and has all the elements of a violent nationalist movement with the terrorist implications. … (Reconquista: The Movement; The Patriot Post)

There is a plan, called The Plan Of Aztlan, that’s been in effect for about four decades. The goal, being pursued vigorously by radical, racist Chicano (Mexican-American) groups and the Mexican government, is to reconquer (Reconquista) land lost to America in the Mexican-American War that ended in 1848 with the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo.

Mexicans and many Mexican-Americans have never accepted the loss of their land, inhabited long before the gringos (white Europeans) arrived. Chicano groups like MEchA (Chicano Student Movement Of Aztlan) want to reconquer seven states in the Southwestern United States called Aztlan, the mythical home of the Aztecs. They include: California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, plus parts of Colorado, Nevada and Utah.

The road to success is based on infiltration (illegal aliens from Mexico) and demographic dominance (like-minded Chicanos being elected to political office by a region overwhelmingly of Mexican origin). What would exist is a de facto alien nation, with loyalty to their Mexican homeland. Efforts would be made to establish a separate government or to rejoin Mexico. Note that Mexico has granted dual citizenship to Mexican immigrants with U.S. citizenship as well as to their children. Kind of speeds the process along. No repatriation needed. (Reconquista: the Invasion of America; TheLastGringo.com; 4/20/06)

La Raza

It is past time for all Americans to know what is at the root of this outrageous behavior, and the extent to which the nation is at risk because of “La Raza” — The Race.

There are many immigrant groups joined in the overall “La Raza” movement. The most prominent and mainstream organization is the National Council de La Raza — the Council of “The Race”.

To most of the mainstream media, most members of Congress, and even many of their own members, the National Council of La Raza is no more than a Hispanic Rotary Club.

Radical ‘Reconquista’ Agenda

Behind the respectable front of the National Council of La Raza lies the real agenda of the La Raza movement, the agenda that led to those thousands of illegal immigrants in the streets of American cities, waving Mexican flags, brazenly defying our laws, and demanding concessions.

Key among the secondary organizations is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.

One of America’s greatest strengths has always been taking in immigrants from cultures around the world, and assimilating them into our country as Americans. By being citizens of the U.S. we are Americans first, and only, in our national loyalties.

This is totally opposed by MEChA for the hordes of illegal immigrants pouring across our borders, to whom they say:

“Chicano is our identity; it defines who we are as people. It rejects the notion that we…should assimilate into the Anglo-American melting pot…Aztlan was the legendary homeland of the Aztecas … It became synonymous with the vast territories of the Southwest, brutally stolen from a Mexican people marginalized and betrayed by the hostile custodians of the Manifest Destiny.” (Statement on University of Oregon MEChA Website, Jan. 3, 2006)

MEChA isn’t at all shy about their goals, or their views of other races. Their founding principles are contained in these words in “El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan” (The Spiritual Plan for Aztlan):

“In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal gringo invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny. … Aztlan belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the crops and not to the foreign Europeans. … We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlan. For La Raza todo [all or everything]. Fuera [Against or Out of] de La Raza nada [nothing].”

Much of the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act was designed in the 11th hour and presented America with a wasteful and poorly reasoned policy, of which any U.S. Senator should be ashamed to be known as one of the “yes” votes. This recent action in conjunction with the Corker-Hoeven Amendment perfectly illustrates the need to repeal the 17th Amendment and return to the Founder’s Original Intent under Article I: Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution, as the majority of Americans in opposition to giving provisional legal status to 30 million plus illegal aliens saw their Senators side with leftist academics, the likes of Reconquista and LARAZA advocates, uneducated do-gooders who have thrown common sense out the window and antinational organizations.

Today in America, some would have us believe that “nationalism”, love of one’s nation and a desire to protect one’s American heritage and a belief in our nation’s right to sovereignty, is somehow comparable to a vulgar swear word. Immigration can be beneficial to the immigrant and the nation, under the right circumstances; however, the U.S. must act through its right and responsibility to ensure only responsible levels of immigration that promote assimilation, self-sufficiency and rising wages. And to date, Congress and the Executive have not remotely accomplished this.

I never thought I would offer the European Union as an example of anything that the U.S. should follow, but even in Europe, the EU nations such as Switzerland [*SlantRight Editor: Switzerland is not an EU member but has set up economic treaties that allows an EU-Swiss interface across borders], Britain and Spain are now realizing the folly of unrestricted movement across borders, as they now fight the guidelines of the Schengen Agreement, which eliminated internal boundaries in 1995. The poorest of immigrants from Bulgaria and Romania have tested the boundaries of most EU nations’ economies in the midst of exploding unemployment, and now many are re-imposing border controls and making it easier to deport foreigners.

Some have suggested that a shortfall for H1B visas for workers exists in many professional fields. If this is indeed the case, it can be addressed independently in the House through a series of smaller bills that focus on the various components of our immigration system, much as suggested by Speaker John Boehner on July 11, 2013. And, as they attempt to play on America’s emotions, the liberals dredge up images of desperate immigrant families who want nothing more than a chance to work and feed themselves without fear of deportation; the H2B visa currently allows temporary workers to stay virtually uninterrupted for three consecutive years, and the Diversity Visa Lottery gives green cards to thousands of foreign nationals annually.

Ex-President George W. Bush has entered the debate again, as he recently called for Americans to “keep a benevolent spirit in mind and…understand the contributions that immigrants make to our country.” This seems to align with David Brooks’ (NY Times) agreement with the American Action Forum’s finding that the Senate bill will increase per capita income by $1700 after ten years.

If these illegal aliens are such entrepreneurs and such a potential economic boon to our economy, why doesn’t that show in the economies of the nations of their origin? Why haven’t they stayed and fought to improve conditions in their native land? Why hasn’t America already experienced great economic improvements, since millions of illegal aliens have been here for decades? Does anyone really believe that the majority of this current massive group of illegals will fight any harder for the salvation of America, politically and economically or otherwise, than they did for their own country?

While I generally believe all people are assets with something to offer any workforce, I must agree with Ms Ann Coulter’s assessment in April 2013, when she stated that legalizing the current illegal alien population would only be an economic boon to people who “benefit from slave labor.” In 2010, Raul Hinojosa-Ojeda at the Center for American Progress released an analysis concluding that unskilled workers in the U.S. would make $400 more annually, if the illegal immigration population were reduced by one-third; another analysis by the Federal Reserve revealed that as illegal immigrant labor increased from 4% to 7% in Georgia, between 2000 and 2007, wages dropped 2.5% overall and 11% in construction jobs during this period.

Typically, low-skilled immigrants do entry-level work, and they do not directly compete with the native born U.S. citizen. But, the current economic recession has changed the jobs market, as 100 million Americans now receive food subsidies and close to 20 million are unemployed, with millions more under-employed. The labor participation rate has dropped from 63% in 2007 to 54% currently, and competition for jobs has increased from 1.5 job seeker per job to 5.0, without accounting for under-employed or discouraged workers. Under these conditions, it is unethical for any Congressman or Senator to grant full job market access and permanent legal status to 30 million largely unskilled illegal aliens at the expense of the American taxpayer and the American worker!

Times have changed, and yet, in many respects, they have stayed the same, as seen in this 1995 quote from the U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform, still applicable today: “It is not in the national interest to admit unskilled workers, because the U.S. economy is showing difficulty in absorbing disadvantaged workers.” And, eighteen years later, U.S. politicians continue to ignore this warning, as they bow to every corporation and special interest rather than listen to their constituents and taking a realistic look at the illegal alien effect on poverty and the American worker.

Even should I or millions of Americans be compassionate or stupid enough to accept the dire economic consequences for decades that will follow any legitimacy or amnesty granted these illegal aliens, we should not accept Chuck Schumer’s and Harry Reid’s massive pork-spending measures that they placed in the Senate bill, and we should not cower in the face of blackmail and threats, such as the civil unrest and violence Senator Robert Menendez promised would be delivered, if the bill was not passed; many Americans would be more inclined to respond to a request for immigration reform based on humanitarian reasoning, than demands from foreigners holding signs that read in Spanish, “Cuidadania para los 11 millones” and United We Dream activist Lorella Praeli’s statement, “We have come today to claim our citizenship”: As far as I’m concerned, they can claim their damn ticket home to Mexico, Guatemala or wherever!

George W recently echoed the thoughts of Amnesty/Reward proponents, when he stated on July 10, 2013, “The laws governing the immigration system aren’t working. The system is broken.” In 1986 Congress, for the first time, enacted legislation that made it illegal for businesses to hire illegal aliens, and they combined it with border control and de facto amnesty for the illegal alien population, that had been in the U.S. for five years, as Congress hoped to initiate effective immigration control. The system is not “broken”. Congress and the Executive have simply refused to enforce the law, and they have failed the nation and the American people. We have been here before; we are here once again.

Obama does not represent the American people or the Office of the President, as he refuses to uphold his oath to the U.S. Constitution and to enforce any law he does not like. In a July 2011 speech to LARAZA, Obama stated that he would like to “bypass Congress and change the (immigration) laws. So, the House Republican leaders have good reason not to trust any promises emanating from this administration.

As White House directed pressure mounts in the House, the next few months will prove critical in whether or not Amnesty/Reward is stopped. Speaker Boehner has already said that the Republican majority did not intend to even consider the Senate bill. The “comprehensive immigration” issue should eventually die from a lack of new momentum, as long as Republicans approach any immigration legislation in segments and facets of the issue. And actually, doing nothing is better than completely changing immigration law and policy by ingraining “amnesty” into our legal foundation and rewarding thirty (11?) million illegal aliens, who broke U.S. law; allowing any House bill to go to conference with the Senate bill will only result in amnesty, and it will send the message, “If you can get here and stay here, the U.S. will eventually give you provisional legal status.”  Not one single American should be able to acquiesce to the legalization of illegal aliens and placing the illegals’ interests ahead of all legal applicants and the best interest of these United States, in good conscience: Christian compassion should not aid the Leftist “open borders” agenda, and it should not dictate that we all commit national economic suicide!

Confirm thy soul in self-control, thy liberty in law.” – ‘America the Beautiful’

The U.S. Senate recently passed a massive 1,200 page “immigration reform” bill (not read by most Senators) that effectively legalizes everyone first and then includes a soft “enforcement” provision that kicks the pathway to citizenship into gear.

Our current visa system is broken and our borders are not secure. Those issues must be the main priority of any approach to immigration reform. Before we enact a process to track these and others who enter our country, doesn’t it make sense to have a solid system in place that can identify potentially dangerous individuals?

The jihadist terrorist attacks going as far back as 9/11/01 and as recent as the Boston Marathon, demonstrate that our visa process is in dire need of reform to ensure that prospective terrorists can’t abuse it. This must be the top priority for our federal legislators.

Unfortunately, promises to ensure that our borders are secure and our visa system is reformed remain just that—PROMISES. You can help us see those promises become a reality. Will you help us?

Our first Open Letter to Congress on this issue was signed by over 11,000 concerned citizens. The letter stated that the first step our nation must take with regard to immigration reform is to secure our borders and fix a broken visa system. Just prior to the Senate vote, Lisa Piraneo, our Director of Government Relations, delivered our Open Letter to the leadership of the U.S. Congress, so they were aware of our views and heard our collective voice.

We have now written a SECOND Open Letter aimed exclusively at the House leadership, to make sure that our voice on this issue remains loud and clear and that we have an impact on what the House does with this legislation.

The House has several choices of action: consider the Senate’s bill (which Speaker Boehner has said he won’t), pass its own legislation, or do nothing at all.

You can be sure that members of the House are hearing from many constituents who are angry at the Senate’s rapid, political, and non-transparent approach to immigration reform. If this language—or anything like it—becomes law, our nation is at great peril. We will be allowing millions of illegal aliens to attain legal status in our nation BEFORE we have secured our borders and have processes in place to know WHO exactly is entering and leaving our country.

We must do all that we can to see the Senate’s immigration “reform” approach stopped in its tracks. You are the key to achieving that goal.

We hope we can count on you to sign our second Open Letter to the leadership of the U.S. Congress today—to send a loud and clear message that before immigration reform moves forward, our border must be secured and our visa process effectively reformed.
REMEMBER: Your signature is your VOICE. This is a VERY important issue to the future of our nation.

Will you help by signing our SECOND Open Letter today??

Gang of 8 Press Conference 6-27-13

Justin Smith writes about illegal aliens flowing into the USA and the Obama Administration lack of enforcement to stop Mexican aliens from entering America. Also Justin writes of GOP betrayal in joining Dems in writing horrible legislation that is akin to blanket amnesty and still a relaxed enforcement of guarding our border from illegal aliens and Mexican drug cartels taking advantage of lax border enforcement.

Race Based Politics

In appalling, ignominious fashion, the U.S. Congress passed both the Corker-Hoeven Amendment (June 24, 2013) and the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act [SlantRight EditorFull Text from Politico 6/21/13 3:36 PM EDT] (June 27, 2013), as they proved once again, with the help of fifteen Republican Senators, that they are more eager to be seen as “citizens of the world” than they are with actually fixing the illegal immigration problem. Much of what occurred during this past week was simply a ploy designed to make the American public think that a tough new immigration bill was passed, when in reality, amnesty was given to upwards of thirty million illegal aliens, rule of law and enforcement was circumvented and our Republic was degraded and endangered!

The U.S. currently deals with an inflow of one million legal immigrants per year; even if one accepts the questionable “11 million” figure for the number of illegal aliens in the U.S., these recent pieces of legislation are illogically conceived, too expansive and unsustainable, especially in light of the fact that between 1953 and 2000, the U.S. allowed only 26.3 million legal immigrants into the nation. It is quite like taking the federal responsibility for the addition of two new states, when one considers the numbers.

Border security weighs equally with the economic ramifications of these bills. Sixty-percent of all illegal immigrants are Hispanic, and they account for 30% of the U.S. prison population. But, the U.S. government really has not any idea how large a segment of the illegal alien population is comprised of criminals and terrorists. In 2010, Jamal Yousef, a Hezbollah agent, was arrested in New York City with a weapons cache of 100 M-16 assault rifles, 2500 grenades, 100 Ar-15s, C-4 explosives and anti-tank munitions; and, last February, three Mexican nationals were sentenced to ten years in prison for running a marijuana operation out of Wisconsin’s Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.

On June 24th, (FoxNews Sunday) Senator Lindsey Graham stated, “We’ve practically militarized the border”, however, this is far from the reality under an Obama administration that will not even allow Border Agents to question criminal suspects about their immigration status and maintains a “catch and release” policy, which basically nullifies any attempts to enforce border controls…No one is “in the shadows”… illegal aliens are now proudly proclaiming their illegal status. And currently, a 70 mile deep swathe into the U.S. interior along hundreds of miles of the U.S.-Mexico border are posted as outside of effective U.S. government control; much of this corridor is now controlled to varying degrees by transnational criminals and the Mexican drug cartels, who are the only ones “militarizing the border.”

Corker-Hoeven, drafted behind closed doors and given no time for constituent review, will cost U.S. taxpayers significantly more than its initial $40 billion price-tag, for nothing in return. It adds 20,000 new border agents; it would not make any difference if it added two million new agents…30 million illegals will be “legalized” and the damage will be done. One should also recall the 1986 amnesty and the broken promise of immigration law enforcement and the Border Security Fence Act of 2006 that was never fully implemented; in 2011, Janet Napolitano cut border security spending from $1.3 billion to $573 million, and she ended the Security Border Initiative Network, because she did not view it as “cost effective” or “viable”: Page 35-line 24 of Corker-Hoeven places the completion of 700 miles of border fence at Napolitano’s discretion, and page 30-line 4 does the same regarding the use of technology.

Under Article 32 of the Mexican Constitution, a person cannot immigrate to Mexico without first demonstrating a particular skill or potential usefulness; Article 34 requires immigrants to have the means to support themselves; applicants for legal immigrant status are screened for mental illness and prior criminal acts as outlined by Article 37. And, entering Mexico illegally is a felony punishable by 5 years in prison and a 5,000 peso fine; more importantly, only citizens of their republic can take part in the politics of the country, according to Article 133.

After Monday’s vote on the Corker-Hoeven Amendment, Mexico’s Foreign Minister Jose Antonio Meade stated, “Fences do not unite us. They are not the solution to the migratory phenomenon and are not consistent with a secure and modern border.” What hypocrisy…what a double-standard!

With unbelievable hubris, the illegal aliens exacerbated the problem by demanding a path to citizenship immediately… no humble request here. Much of this emanates from LARAZA, Presente.org and the Dream Act Coalition. Reyna Mntoya of United We Dream in Arizona recently stated, “We’re not willing to compromise on citizenship.” Wait a minute…whose country is this any way!?

Claims of deficit reduction from the bills’ supporters are full of manipulations and accounting tricks using Social Security contributions by newly created “registered provisional immigrants” to fund associated increases in spending. But, all this and more will necessarily be paid out almost immediately (food stamps/unemployment) to native Americans removed from the workforce, because these newly legalized immigrants are suggested to be ineligible, by the Democrats, for subsidies on the Obamacare exchanges until after they become citizens, which is certain to be challenged under the 14th Amendment; this allows employers to escape the $3,000 fine attached to failure to insure American workers and makes the immigrants the more cost effective route for businesses. On top of this, add the billions of dollars paid out for the benefits of these RPIs during their retirement.

America witnessed Marco Rubio, Mitch McConnell, Bob Corker, Lamar Alexander and ten other Republican Senators (Wicker changed his vote) shamelessly align themselves against their constituency and join a coalition of business groups, unions, gay rights, Latino and immigration advocates, and poltroons, quislings and Democrats, such as Chuck Schumer and Robert Menendez. McConnell could have at least attempted to stop this bill through the Senate procedural process; and, while Rubio has stressed “border security” to Americans for months, he recently appeared on Univision’s Spanish speaking talk show, ‘Al Punto’, and said, that if the bill passed, “First comes legalization…”.

What “modernization” can be found in a bill stuck in circa 1986 with rewards for illegal aliens, a blanket amnesty and an immediate path to citizenship?… Where is there any real “border security” or “economic opportunity” in this bill for U.S. citizens… naturalized immigrants and native born alike… who pay their taxes, fight our wars and obey our laws?

Many of our Senators, such as Marco Rubio, Chuck Schumer and Bob Corker, are duplicitous masters of political theater, as they ignore the fact of high unemployment, a $5000 drop in median income for families since 2007 and a .1% economic growth, and they divide and conquer us by engaging in identity politics. They have pushed ahead with this big government piece of legislation that they call “comprehensive immigration” over the objections of the majority of Americans, in just the same manner they used with Obamacare; the nation will not get the quality high-skilled, high-tech workers Congress suggests it needs through this Reward/Amnesty bill for thirty million of the most poorly skilled imaginable. And, for those concerned about children who grew up here as illegal aliens, their cases can be adjudicated case by case through a special court. But our U.S. government should not assume a responsibility or a constitutional writ that does not exist and spend the treasure of Americans to satisfy foreigners: Doing the right thing and following the rule of law is not always easy, and sometimes it includes seemingly harsh action. We are either a nation of laws… a Republic… or we are not; identify the illegal aliens and deport them!

Now, unfortunately, too much going forward rests in the hands of a weak, timid and untrustworthy Speaker John Boehner. It will be the responsibility of House Republicans to force Boehner to reject the Senate bill and the race based politics of Senator McCain, Senator Menendez and many others…race pandering… the sort of thing that conservatives have always rejected historically; the House must reject those who have described opponents to this bill as “nativists, racists, misogynists and elitists”, as they illustrate their willingness to embrace the millions of young and old of all races and nationalities, who seek to enter the U.S. legally in their search for the right to Live Free! : America cannot build an integrated, cohesive nation of assimilated immigrants, maintain Her Heritage of Exceptionalism or guarantee everyone equal opportunity at success through race pandering in the U.S. Senate. Start the calls and letters to Congress now, if you hope to save America from this terrible monstrosity called “comprehensive immigration” legislation!

Coulter: Avoid the Need for Spying Using One Not-So-Weird Trick

Islamic Terrorist Networks USA map

You need to read this tongue-in-cheek article from Ann Coulter about the American government and Obama’s immigration policies. He spies on American citizens, has porous borders for illegal immigrants to flow in and brings in Radicalized Muslims while placing real political refugees or immigrants that offer value for the USA to be denied or quagmire in immigration paperwork and waiting lists.
