If you visited my blogs in the past you are aware that I am a Christian Right kind of guy. What the Bible says is what I believe. Now saying that I am going to state something that will make some disagreeable and others agreeable. I am not a the-earth-was-created-6000-years-ago kind of guy.
During the period of 1650 to 1654 Protestant Bishop James Ussher published his studies of the age of the Earth as chronicled literally in the Bible. His published conclusion was that God created the Earth in 4004 BC (Before Christ). Ussher’s scholarship based on the literal time data derived from the Bible is actually quite brilliant.
I however, do not believe time periods in the Bible – or at least in the Old Testament – are not literal according to material linear time. You see I do believe God made Creation ex nihilo by speaking His handiwork into existence. BUT I believe God’s twinkling of the eye is not something that can be measured accurately in human corporeal understanding. The Eternal dimension of God’s dwelling is immeasurable.
The Genesis Creation epic God has allowed us to see in His Word, I believe, is not in the realm of 24 hour human understanding.
8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us,[a] not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3: 8-9 NKJV)
This tells me that human linear time does not measure up to God’s plan as it pertains to human reasoning. And the one day/thousand years comparison then should not be taken literally either. Although I don’t think it is impossible for God Almighty to make creation in 24 hour periods; however that which humans can measure seems to indicate that God did not take that path. So I am not going to commit myself to believing creation happened in terms of thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands or millions of years or whatever human concept of time.
Now granted the context of 2 Peter 3: 8-9 is that God is not slack in completing the Redemption plan of humanity. The first instalment of Redemption is that the Blood of Christ Redeems the human spirit by changing the old man corrupted by Adam’s Fall is created anew becoming a new person in Christ Jesus – behold old things have passed away and our human spirit is a new creation. Jesus Christ is coming back to Redeem humanity fully. Not just the human spirit but soul and body as well. The context in the Second Epistle of Peter is the coming Full Redemption of humanity; nevertheless it is an indication that our God who lives outside of time made his Creation according to an Eternal existence which in the material world could be measured in any number of ways that the Word of God tries to simplify for human comprehension.
Now I have quite probably taken too long to get to the point. I just read an article on WND which is a promotion of a movie production that is entitled “Genesis 3D”. The movie is the Creationism view is valid because it is the Word of God and Evolution is fallacious because it is thought of a man’s theory; viz., Charles Darwin.
I am a Creationist except for that 6000 year human measured chronology thing. Evolutionism is a theory that STILL is not a proven fact. The only verifiable data on Evolution is that changing environment can change the genetics of an organism as observed in short termed experimental evidence. Using short term evidence for long term conclusions is a stretch in which science utilizes predictions and conjectural constructs for a preconceived conclusion.
I will stick with the Word of God which to those who Believe by Faith know is Truth.
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. (Hebrews 11: 1-3 NKJV)
By “faith” God framed existence ex nihilo by His Spoken Word. Human theory cannot definitively paint a picture of existence’s beginnings when that theory is outside of the Word of God. AND as much as the proponents of science proclaims the theory is the truth, science has NEVER found the observable evidence that makes a validating connection to Evolutionary theory.
Here is the Truth as disseminated by the Word of God:
1 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
6 Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” 7 Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

Everyone has to deal with temptations at one time or another, so you don’t need to feel embarrassed if you’re facing a particular temptation right now. But at the same time, you don’t have to succumb to temptation, because it is something you can overcome! All temptations can be beaten! You just have to make up your mind that you’re going to be the conqueror and not the conquered!
You may not have thought of it before, but the devil tries to lure you into sin by using your mind and emotions. He injects thoughts into your mind and emotions that act as stimulants to get you all stirred up in a certain area of your life. At that moment, you are consciously aware that you can let the temptation pass you by – or you can allow those thoughts to fester in your mind and take root in your emotions until they become a major stronghold in your mind to battle and conquer. By refusing to accept the thoughts in the first place, you can avoid the whole struggle!
It’s similar to a sexual temptation. You can choose to turn and look the other way, or you can dwell on that temptation until it fills your mind and imagination. If you choose to meditate on the thought that the devil is trying to put into your head, it won’t be too long until the devil is waging a full-scale battle in your mind! If you don’t put on the brakes and stop those thoughts, the devil will conquer you. That’s why it’s so important that you learn how to control your thinking. If you can keep your mind under the control of the Holy Spirit, you will make it almost impossible for the devil to defeat you in any realm of your life.
The devil is a master when it comes to mind manipulation. He knows that if he can get you to spend a little time meditating on something wrong, he can eventually entice you to do it! If the devil was persuasive enough to deceive brilliant, mighty, powerful angels, how much more easily can he deceive people who live in a far-from-perfect environment and wrestle daily with their own imperfections! The emotional makeup of human beings makes them even more susceptible to the devil’s masterful skills of lying, deception, and manipulation.
Satan watches for the right timing. He comes along at an opportune moment. He waits until you’re tired, weary, or exasperated. Perhaps you woke up in a bad mood; someone gave you a “look” you didn’t like; or you just started off your day on the wrong foot. Then suddenly he strikes you with a thought – something that takes you totally by surprise when your guard is down!
When negative thoughts begin to deluge your mind, you need to know that it is Satan setting a trap in front of you. He is trying to ensnare you so he can cripple and devastate both you and the people you love. He’s trying to get you to bite the bait so he can set the hook! But you don’t have to fall into this trap anymore! If you really want out of this type of emotional quandary, there is a way out.
First Corinthians 10:13 promises, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
The word “temptation” is the Greek word peirasmos, and it may refer to any outside source that appeals to a weakness in your flesh. That appeal pulls you like a magnet; it lures you mentally, emotionally, and sensually; it fascinates the imagination; it entices the flesh to take a closer peek. If you don’t stop this process, it will set its hook in your soul and haul you right smack dab into the middle of some kind of sin!
Because the word peirasmos (“temptation”) can describe any weakness of the flesh, this scripture could apply to any fleshly weakness you might struggle with – from being lazy or easily offended; to thinking too lowly or too highly of yourself; to having a problem with anger or sexual temptation. Whatever your flesh responds to is what this word peirasmos refers to!
But this verse promises that God will make a way for you to escape temptation – if you really want to escape it! The Greek word for “escape” is the word ekbasis. This word is a compound of the word ek, meaning out, and the word basin, meaning to walk. When they are compounded together, it means to walk out, as to walk out of a difficult place; to walk out of a trap; or to walk out of a place that isn’t good for you.
This makes me think of the time Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife when she tried to seduce him. Rather than stay there and try to negotiate in the midst of the situation, Genesis 39:12 says Joseph “…fled, and got him out.” In other words, he got out of there as quickly as he could!
Negotiating with sin usually leads to falling into it rather than conquering it, so it’s better for a person to just get up and get away from the situation as quickly as he can! This is why Paul was constantly telling the early believers to “flee” evil influences (see 1 Corinthians 6:18; 1 Corinthians 10:14, 1 Timothy 6:11; 2 Timothy 2:22).
The word “flee” is the Greek word pheugo, which means to flee, to take flight, to run away, to run as fast as possible, or to escape. This means you don’t want to succumb to those temptations that are surrounding you. You just need to get up, put on your jacket, pick up your things, and get out of that place of temptation as fast as you can! Let your feet fly as you flee that situation! You’re not stuck there! You can get out! You can walk out of that place just as easily as you walked in there! Your feet work in both directions! God will make a way for you to escape those negative emotions if you really want to escape them. But you are the only one who can make the choice to jump through that escape hatch!
· If you know you’re being tempted to angrily explode, walk out before it happens!
· If you know you’re being tempted to get your feelings hurt, go somewhere else to avoid the offense!
· If you know you’re being tempted to slip into a state of laziness, then get up and get busy!
· If you know you’re being tempted to steal, get as far away as you can from the money or the coveted object!
· If you know you’re being tempted to sexually sin, get out of that situation immediately!
· If you know you’re being tempted to do anything wrong, it’s time for you to flee from the temptation!
Millions of Christians are held captive because they will not take the leap through that escape hatch. As a result, they have no joy, no peace, and no victory in their lives. They may be Christians, but they’re miserable because they haven’t made the choice to jump through the escape hatch God has provided for them and leave all those negative temptations and garbage behind.
If you’ll say yes to the Lord, He will show you how to walk out of this mess! You can avoid, evade, dodge, elude, shake off, get out of, and break away from every temptation! You are the only one who can choose to walk out of those killer mental attacks or negative situations. The moment you make that decision, your journey to freedom has begun!
So today the Lord is asking you: “Are you going to stay the way you are right now, or are you willing to take the proper steps to escape from this emotional temptation and demonic trap?” What is your answer? What are you going to do? God is waiting for you to decide if you will receive the freedom He is offering you or remain a hostage for the rest of your life. The choice is yours to make.
My Prayer for Today
Lord, help me find the strength to say no to my flesh and to flee from temptation when it tries to wrap its long tentacles around my soul and drag me into some kind of sin. I know what it’s like when sin calls out to my flesh, beckoning it to do something that is forbidden or wrong, but I don’t want to cooperate with it anymore. I want to walk free – to flee from sin and break free of its vicious grip. Help me bring my mind under the control of the Holy Spirit so I can think rationally when Satan tries to attack me through my mind, my emotions, or my senses.
I pray this in Jesus’ name!
My Confession for Today
I confess that God makes a way for me to escape temptation. I do not negotiate with sin! When it tries to call out to me, I get up and get out as quickly as I can. I flee, take flight, run away from, and escape as quickly as I can when I know the devil is attempting to lure me into his trap. That’s when I put on my jacket, pick up my things, and let my feet fly! God always makes a way for me to escape – and I always make the right choice to jump through that escape hatch!
I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

1. Can you think of times when you were tempted to yield to sin? Knowing that you needed to get up and get out of that place of temptation, did you stay and fall into some kind of sin? Were you sorry later that you didn’t flee when you had the chance?
2. What is the chief area of temptation that you struggle with more than any other right now?
3. In order for you to walk free from the struggle of that temptation, what changes do you need to make in your life?

The homosexual debauchery that has taken place for sixteen years was canceled this year due to road construction. Evidently the area for the annual Folsom Street East outdoor festival in which homosexuals gather together to participate with lewd vendors and homosexual sex acts including the leathers that homosexuals flaunt in their so-called pride efforts to be free to do whatever they want even though it is horrifically immoral was canceled because complaints were forthcoming from last year’s events. In recent years there has been a code of conduct which can read in this photo from 2010 which included no public sex acts; however with no real accountability that conduct policy was enforced very loosely:
• No public sexual activity
• No complete public nudity
• No exposure of genitals
• Alcohol is restricted to designated areas only, consumed by adults 21+
• Adequate space must be cleared and prior consent must be given by all participants in any demo or “scene.”
• No demo or “scene” involving blood or other fluids will be permitted, even with consent.

The thing about finding out about the canceling of Folsom Street East 2013 is that luxury seems to be disenchanted with public homosexuality. The non-profit organization that is Folsom Street East simply tells us the cancellation is due to road construction as that is a mere glitch of the last sixteen years. The reality is luxurious buildings that are trendy hotels, restaurants and condos are encroaching on the fringe homosexual district of Manhattan. The sad thing most of the information about the canceled event I found via Google was from either pro-homosexual websites or Leftist critics of the cancellation.
Frankly I can’t vouch if this search engine availability is because Google is making sure pro-homosexual information occurs about Folsom Street East searches or if Pro-Family and Pro-Christian Moral Values organizations have dropped the ball on exploiting this story.
Shame on Google if they are skewing search engine results or shame on Pro-Family/Pro-Christian Moral Values organizations if they dropped the ball or shame on both if these thoughts on search engines and the Conservative-Christian Right are valid accusations.

For most of its 16 years, Folsom East was surrounded by industrial sites and strip clubs. But a recent construction boom brought residential buildings to the far-flung block between 10th and 11th avenues.
Named after the legendary Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, the party usually draws thousands of visitors and raises money for LGBT-related charitable causes.
In addition to the +aRt condo, where residents already live, construction on the two-building, 710-unit Avalon West Chelsea is also underway, which will eventually bring a 31-story tower and 13-story building to the block.
The changing dynamic already affected last year’s festival — when some residents of the +aRt building complained about being “embarrassed” by the kinky revelers, leading organizers to construct a sidewalk corridor allowing residents to get to their homes without walking through Folsom East itself.
The message on Folsom East’s website assured fetish-lovers that the festival would return, though it was unclear if it would be on the same block.
“Thanks for 16 great years celebrating sexual freedom with the Folsom Street East Street Festival and we hope to see you back on the kinky streets of New York City in 2014!” the site reads.

With the twin blows yesterday of hearing that both Folsom Street East and Fleet Week have been cancelled this year (really, what are we going to do during June?) here’s a bit of a respite.
Fil Vocasek, the board chairmen of Folsom Street East, says that the organization is attempting to plan a number of fetish-themed events throughout the month of June which will take the form of smaller, indoor parties at various venues. The main event was cancelled this year due to construction on 28th Street.
“We’re in conversation with other groups and organizations to make sure there are a lot of fetish, kinky things going on in the month of June,” Vocasek tells DNAinfo.
Folsom Street East’s cancellation came after the closing of the popular fetish and leather bar, Rawhide last month. That site, however, may be staying true to it’s gay bar roots.
Though the advertisement outside of the old Rawhide on Eighth Avenue describes the “corner restaurant/retail space for lease,” the agent behind the listing suggests that another gay bar or club may be taking over the reins from the popular leather bar that closed March 30.
JD Sutro, a broker of Lee & Associates says “A lot of people know the history, everyone knows Rawhide, so we’ve gotten a lot of calls looking to open up another men’s bar or another restaurant that supplements the area.” (Folsom Street East planning smaller events throughout June in lieu of cancelled street fair; By Will Pulos; Next Magazine; April 25, 2013)
Below is an excerpt from a homosexual friendly author that provides more detail about the resident’s perspective on the Folsom Street East:
New Yorkers have mixed feelings about the High Line. Sure, it’s popular enough to make other cities jealous. But it’s kind of out of the way and, damningly, overrun by tourists. It’s also long been the object of ire from long-time residents suspicious of Bloombergian development, who find it a little too … manicured. It’s a project that makes New Yorkers face up to the question of what sort of city they want to live in — one that’s exciting, but little bit rougher around the edges, or one that’s safe but maybe a little bit tame? And that contrast has never been as stark as now, when High Line-related construction is conflicting with a kinky sex parade.
Jeremiah Moss, a blogger who’s solidly on the side of the older, rougher city, writes that the construction of fancy buildings in the High Line’s neighborhood has led to the cancellation of an old and dear ritual: the Folsom Street East street festival, “the largest outdoor fetish street festival on the easter coast, which brings thousands of sexy kinksters out onto the streets of New York City on a summer afternoon to celebrate sexual diversity and expression.”
Perhaps this is a sign that whatever kinky culture is left in New York has simply moved to a more outer borough. But perhaps shiny, modern cities can’t be safe for tourists, gentrifiers, and sexy kinksters at the same time. For efficiency reasons, it’s quite desirable for more people to live in cities, but it’s important to make sure there’s room not just for people who want to spend $4 on hibiscus ice pops but for people who’d rather spend their money on horse-tail buttplugs. You see the problem I have in relying on news sources that favor moral corruption is there is no perspective from the residents expanding into the 28th Street area of Manhattan where homosexual debaucheries take place. The Pro-Homo sources dare not mention that some-many-most of the residents’ view of homosexual acts as something more than inappropriate. Could some-many-most view open homosexuality as morally repugnant?
This is the point at which Pro-Family/Conservative-Christian groups have dropped the ball. Someone needs to investigate the percentage of the complaining residents are willing to eschew political correctness and let the world know they have a Christian Moral conflict with the homosexual lifestyle in their front and backyard. Send the Catholic pro-morality investigators to the Catholics and send the Protestant pro-morality investigators to the Protestants. OR here is a true ecumenical idea: This is a time for pro-morality Catholics and Protestants can come together on to investigate AND to promote Christian Morality in the area.
I say “true ecumenical” because the current ecumenical movement tends to be Liberal factions of Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Protestants unifying on a social activism agenda which tends to be pro-homosexual and to be neutering the Word of God in which Christ’s Divinity, Crucifixion and Sonship are theologically questioned because the Bible does not line up with Modernist philosophy which leans toward secularizing society and abandoning the Creator of all that exists as presented in the Holy Bible. A true ecumenism would be Bible Believing Christians (or on the Catholic-Eastern Orthodox side the Conservative Believing traditionalists) can stand together to jointly affirm Christian Morality.

This is quite disgusting! Christian Right Believers are quite aware of the beauty of the old King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. Many lay Christians have moved on to a more modern English translation than the 17th century KJV. I myself favor the New King James Version (NKJV) or the Amplified Bible. Other Conservative Bible Believing Christians like the New International Version (although there is criticism of the newest remake of the NIV). In my early Born Again days of Christian conversion I favored the Revised Standard Version (RSV) and the old KJV. In fact I used my RSV so much that it fell to pieces. When my RSV became to worn to read I went to the NIV. I am sure many of you might have similar stories on your Bible reading.
Today one can see the influence of Secular Humanism in the newest translations. The newest translations remove the obvious masculine sense of the original Greek, Aramaic, and Hebrew and so on to be replaced with neutered (yeah I know ‘neutral’ is probably a better word nonetheless the neutral tense is an emasculation of the Word of God) versions.
There are homosexuals pretending to be Christians. In order to validate homosexuality, obvious Biblical homosexual lifestyle condemnations are warped into Divine approval. The newest spin on the homosexual agenda to discredit Biblical Christianity is a Gay Bible spun off the King James Bible. The God labeled abomination today known homosexuality have fabricated Holy Scripture that is called the Queen James Version.

I just read something that is sure to stir up some guff about New Age pretending to be Christian and thus it must be all heresy.

I just read an awesome essay – one might even call it a prophetic essay. The controversial Prophet is Kim Clement.
Clement writes about creative molding via a creative imagination. Now if you think us Word of Faith guys are in the heresy accusation camp by trusting the Word of God is true when it reads:
20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. (Emphasis Mine – Mark 11: 20-24 NKJV)
You see no matter how much someone labels a Word of Faith person a heretic, the fact is the Word of God (in Jesus speaking red if you have a red letter Bible) tells us Believers have creative power with their words. Now one thing is true that believing and speaking has been so abused that way too many Christians have driven off the road and ran into a ditch. If one attempts to speak a creative word that does not line up with the Holy Bible (i.e. to say the Will of God) one is taking a bad path that will knock one into the ditch of disaster.
Clement somewhat embarks on the Mark 11 path with the concept of “creative imagination”. Frankly I am unclear on what Scripture Clement uses to validate creative imagination. This prophetic essay is very deep and with some meditative Bible knowledge you will discover some archetypes that are analogies for creative moments.
3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. 4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. 5 I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for[a] he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification. (1 Cor. 14: 3-5 NKJV)
New Testament prophecy has a primary purpose. I believe this a good Word; however if you think Clement misses the mark here, without using past prophetic-seer moments viewed as not happening, let me know.

What In the World Have I Created?
John 17 I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to me, and they have kept Your word…
But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.
I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
Jesus (the Word) was not sent to the earth at the most perfect time with the most perfect environment. The Bible says, “One day, however it happened, Jesus invited Peter, Andrew, James and John to follow Him.”What would our world be like if that had never happened? These were not perfect creations, but human beings with many flaws. At the end of their time together they had not caused much of a stir. If you could have been there on that day after Jesus died…if you could have seen the Roman Empire and its Pax Romana, its 250,000 miles of roads, its extensions from Asia to Africa to Europe, and its history of dominance and social status that was envied throughout the Mediterranean…and then if you could have seen a few dozen failed, frightened, demoralized, defeated, confused former followers of an executed carpenter… If someone had asked you to place a bet on which group would still be around in 2,000 years, all the smart money would have been placed on the Roman Empire…which is now EXTINCT. God took what He had created and formed something so powerful that these few chosen disciples turned the world upside down…or right side up.
What You Have Created Cannot Be Uncreated. So What Can Be Done About Our Present Pathetic State?
The trouble is that we have been in a pathetic state of maintaining. To maintain means “to keep in existence or to keep in a specified state or position.” There is a huge difference in “keeping in existence” and “bringing into existence.” As I’ve taught before, there are two realms of divine truth: historical truth and creative truth. Both are equally as important, and in fact, the one cannot exist without the other. The trouble is that historical truth is easier to maintain as it has already been born and is established. Another term that I use for historical truth is “truth in the tomb.”
Gaston Bachelard wrote, “One must always maintain one’s connection to the past and yet ceaselessly pull away from it. To remain in touch with the past requires a love of memory. To remain in touch with the past requires a constant imaginative effort.” Creative truth, on the other hand, removes all of these efforts, and instead of imaginative effort, we are now plummeted into a whole new world of creative imagination.
Nothing Exists Until Or Unless It Is Observed
Prophecy presents an image to the hearer. One of the words for image in the Greek means “logos.” Remember, the divine word/image is a seed that, once planted in your soul, will grow. How does it grow? In the imagination! So, once the future is revealed to an individual, the next step is creative observation.
Observation Is Creative
How is it that people keep thinking about what they don’t want even when they’re hugely motivated to manifest something new? It’s simple. What you don’t want has affected you because you’ve experienced it in the past, dragged it into your present, and therefore it is foremost in your mind. We have to ceaselessly pull away from it. You must refrain from thinking and focusing on its continuation. Before something that you desire can manifest, you have to discontinue manifesting what you DON’T desire becoming or being. Let me give an example. Why is that when my intention is wealth, I’m still poor? Why is it that when I pray for and desire a new career, I’m still stuck in the old one? There is no such thing as observation without creation. Don’t spend time observing your present misery!
There has to be a MANIFESTATION of your IMAGE – your prophetic word. What has God shown you about yourself that is NOT manifesting yet? Write it down.
Uncreating Is Impossible
You cannot “un-create” what you’ve already created (or manifested). Remember, in every deed there is a seed. Our actions create our future, good or bad. It’s your choice. Someone once wrote, “Today is the tomorrow you dreamed about yesterday.” We can add to this, “Today is the tomorrow you prayed about yesterday.” However, prayer is not enough. Faith without works is dead. Deeds make seeds. Once something has manifested in your reality, it’s too late to un-create it, and the more you OBSERVE it, the more it is perpetuated. How about destroying the bad you’ve created? It’s not that easy. Well, how about recreating what you’ve created? I love the words that God speaks through Isaiah about Jacob:
“But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel…” (Isaiah 43:1).
Take note that God says that He created Jacob. Remember, Jacob was a supplanter (schemer/deceiver). To supplant means “to take the place of another.” In fact, he ran from his brother who desired to kill him and ran from his house after deceiving his own father. God didn’t kill Jacob, but he “formed” ISRAEL out of this mess. Think about this for a minute. God is the Creator and creates Jacob who turns out to be…not so nice. God has a plan. Form something out of this mess. And He does a great job of it! We need to follow this example and possibly take note of the mess that we’ve created and form something beautiful out of it. God could easily have looked at Jacob lying on the ground in the city of Luz and chosen to wipe him out. That’s the easy way out.
Let’s look at the words “created” and “formed.” Every day we create life and/or death by our words and our actions. In the Hebrew language the word create is “bara,” a primitive root that basically means “to create, to select and to feed.” So, when you create something by your actions, you have the choice to continue feeding it in its present state or recreate it. The word “form” used in Isaiah is “yatsar,” which means “to squeeze (into shape), to mold into a form; figuratively, to DETERMINE.” Another explanation is “to place purpose into something.” Look at some of the things you’ve created and are in existence today because of your bad choices and actions. Do you see any purpose in it? Then make purpose. Shape it.
The story of one of the greatest presidents of Harvard College, Charles William Eliot, is worth recalling. Born with a serious facial disfigurement, he discovered as a young man that nothing could be done about it, and he must go through life with this mark. When his mother brought to him that tragic truth, it was indeed “the dark hour of his soul.”
His mother told him, “My son, it is not possible for you to get rid of this handicap. We have consulted the best surgeons, and they say that nothing can be done. But it is possible for you, with God’s help, to grow a mind and soul so big that people will forget to look at your face.”
It’s impossible to focus all your attention on the future without thinking of the present. How can you not think about being broke if you don’t have the money to pay your accounts? That’s where the prophetic comes into being, and it works! Even though your history may have brought you present misery, your destiny can bring you manifested freedom; and once you taste of that freedom, you are driven and motivated to move toward your goal rapidly. So we are stuck with our present situation – how do we make it go away?
As I said, you can’t un-create it, but you can form something out of it, give it a purpose, and actually conquer it. The beginning of prophetic imagination is to begin CONQUERING your mountain. A mountain doesn’t always disappear, but it can be conquered. Step-by-step, foot-by-foot, it can be conquered.
What did Caleb do at the age of 85? He said to Joshua, “Now therefore, give me this mountain” (Joshua 14:12). The mountain was filled with giants, but Caleb knew that unless he conquered the mountain and took control of it, he would never rule over it. If your mountain won’t move, then conquer it!
We are focusing on conquering our mountain in 2012, and I believe with my whole heart that many of you will be manifesting freedom from debt, bit by bit, quicker than you could imagine.
God’s intention has to catch your attention. Once it’s caught your attention, it must be your top priority so that His intention can manifest in your life.

Surrendering to the Mind of Christ

The keys to abundant life are found through our intention of pursuing Christ and the Kingdom of God. To know His ways, His love for us, and His thoughts for us to live abundantly in Him. This is how we must think. The path illuminates for us as we surrender. If we do not surrender to God within, we are often powerless, and it allows for everything around us to influence us. We will always do best by filling our minds by meditating on things that are true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, and gracious. Look for the best to happen, not the worst; the beautiful to come forth, not the ugly; and things worthy of praise rather than things to curse. Put into practice all that God has taught you, what you heard, saw, and realized only in Him. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together for good, will work His most excellent alignment and harmony into your life.

The “BUT” we speak becomes the life we live

What we think on is what we will speak, and then eventually will become a heart belief. So, we can believe an untruth (lie) and think it to be the truth.
As I was thinking about a situation this morning & how sometimes women especially respond when ask a question, like how are you doing? Most always women will say; doing just fine, BUT then continue telling (speaking) doubt & unbelief as to what is really happening in their life.
What is happening can be truth (really happening), BUT it opens the door to the enemy to use what we have spoken against us. Our mouth & the words we speak set in motion future things to come.
Our words we speak are a DOOR!!! What we speak is our belief that we trust in, depend on, & will take us to a place we might not want to go to (when it is doubt & unbelief).
We either speak what is happening (when we say “BUT”) that opens the door to the enemy, or we speak the word of God as Jesus did in every situation, “Jesus spoke the word, & he was the spoken word manifested in the flesh”.
What we look at, listen to, speak out of our mouth, DOES BECOME A HEART SET (belief).
Philippians 4:8 (NIV)
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
This scripture is saying; what we think on we will speak. So we decide we either speak “the spoken word of God” over every situation, or we speak doubt & unbelief when we add the BUT TO WHAT WE ARE SPEAKING.
So watch what you think on, & watch what you speak out of your mouth. Because again, it will set in motion your future!
