Are Jews the Bane of the World’s Future?

I received a comment from a Christian that was upset with me that I believe the Land of Israel is for the Jews because God gave it to the Jews by Promise. The comment was from a post entitled “YOU KNOW the USA and EU Work AGAINST Israel, Right? (Cross posted at SlantRight 2.0) In essence the commenter seems to believe that when Paul calls Christians Spiritual Israel then the Promise to the Jews was replaced by Christians; ergo Christians replace Jews as the Chosen People.

In case I have read it wrong here is the comment:

After seeing one post awhile back i followed you, thinking i’d see some more reasoned thinking… Now I’ve UN-followed — because it’s a waste to hear the typical yammering by another neo-Conned religious dude who doesn’t get Romans 9 — where Paul clearly spells it out for us– who is an Israelite? Or you can read in Revelation 2 again about the false Jews. (Pray and meditate as your read, and look at the actions –unprovoked war against the US in 1967 — destroying the USS LIberty (ever studied that?)

Why do you think we were warned TWICE, in critical places of the Scriptures?

From the Rothschilds to British Zionists to the current Yahoo in charge, the Beast of Daniel 9 has effective control of your beloved brutal state… — SO Who really runs the machinery of gov’t there? Are they using our military brothers as stooges while the powers in media and even the 501 c 3 churches have fallen into the trap?

What good can Jesus do with a Neo-Conned church? (Bold Emphasis Mine)

The only reference to Jews in Revelations is a weak assertion that the Christians have replaced the Jews. For one thing Chapter 2 of Revelation is about Christian Churches that have strayed away from the principles that make a strong Church thus endangering their position in Christ. Revelation 2: 8-11

The Persecuted Church

8 “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write,

‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: 9 “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

11 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”’ (Bold Emphasis Mine NKJV)

The “Jews” the Apostle John is writing about by prophetic revelation are Christians that believe the Law must be abided by Christians with the emphasis of circumcision and ritual rites. The Apostle Paul did not have a problem with Jews that believe the Salvation work of Jesus Christ but he did have a problem with Jewish Christians forcing Gentile Christians to directly follow the Law. The Law culminates in Christ hence Faith trumps works of the Law to remain in Right Standing with God in Christ. (See Matt. 5: 17-20 and Romans 10: 3-13)

So when the commenter associates the term “Synagogue of Satan” with all Jews as a condemned people in the sight of God he/she is greatly mistaken.

For greater clarity on Jews as still the Chosen People or the people of the Promise through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob read what Paul says that the Promise to the Jews is by no means annulled:

Present Condition of Israel

30 What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith; 31 but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness.[a] 32 Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law.[b] For they stumbled at that stumbling stone. 33 As it is written:

“Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense,
And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
[c] (Romans 9: 30-33 NKJV)

Israel Needs the Gospel

10 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel[a] is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”[a]

19 But I say, did Israel not know? First Moses says:

“I will provoke you to jealousy by those who are not a nation,
I will move you to anger by a foolish nation.”

20 But Isaiah is very bold and says:

“I was found by those who did not seek Me;
I was made manifest to those who did not ask for Me.”

21 But to Israel he says:

“All day long I have stretched out My hands
To a disobedient and contrary people.”

Israel’s Rejection Not Total

11 1 I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, 3 “Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”?[a] 4 But what does the divine response say to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”[b] 5 Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace.[c] But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Israel’s Rejection Not Final

11 I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. 12 Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!

13 For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,14 if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. 15 For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

16 For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.

19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness,[a] if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. 23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be saved,[b] as it is written:

“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;

27 For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”
[c] (Romans 11: 1-6, 11-27 NKJV)

This is some clarity that the Promised Land is still the land of the Jews which is the Land of Israel – Eretz Israel.

Now let’s examine a few assertions by the commenter that has little to do with the Promise to the Jews and more to do with a bias against Israel which I perceive may even smack a bit of Antisemitism.

The 1967 War in which Jordan, Syria and Egypt AGAIN prepared to invade Israel with the intention to destroy, because of its Jewish nature the commenter insinuates an Israel attack on the USS Liberty was an overt act of war against the United States. The reality is AGAIN Israel was involved in a war of its survival and after Israel perceived an attack from the sea hit some IDF forces Israel retaliated based on the perception. Here is a good summary:

The Israeli attack on the USS Liberty was a grievous error, largely attributable to the fact that it occurred in the midst of the confusion of a full-scale war in 1967. Ten official United States investigations and three official Israeli inquiries have all conclusively established the attack was a tragic mistake.

On June 8, 1967, the fourth day of the Six-Day War, the Israeli high command received reports that Israeli troops in El Arish were being fired upon from the sea, presumably by an Egyptian vessel, as they had a day before. The United States had announced that it had no naval forces within hundreds of miles of the battle front on the floor of the United Nations a few days earlier; however, the USS Liberty, an American intelligence ship under the dual control of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Central Intelligence Agency and the Sixth Fleet, was assigned to monitor the fighting. As a result of a series of United States communication failures, whereby messages directing the ship not to approach within 100 miles were not received by the Liberty, the ship sailed to within 14 miles off the Sinai coast. The Israelis mistakenly thought this was the ship shelling its soldiers and war planes and torpedo boats attacked, killing 34 members of the Liberty ‘screw and wounding 171. Ships from the Sixth Fleet were directed to launch four attack aircraft with fighter cover to defend the Liberty, but the planes were recalled after a message was received at the White House that the Israelis had admitted they had attacked the ship.

Numerous mistakes were made by both the United States and Israel. For example, the Liberty was first reported — incorrectly, as it turned out — to be cruising at 30 knots (it was later recalculated to be 28 knots). Under Israeli (and U.S.) naval doctrine at the time, a ship proceeding at that speed was presumed to be a warship. The sea was calm and the U.S. Navy Court of Inquiry found that the Liberty’s flag was very likely drooped and not discernible; moreover, members of the crew, including the Captain, Commander William McGonagle, testified that the flag was knocked down after the first or second assault.

According to Israeli Chief of Staff Yitzhak Rabin’s memoirs, there were standing orders to attack any unidentified vessel near the shore.1The day fighting began, Israel had asked that American ships be removed from its coast or that it be notified of the precise location of U.S. vessels.2 The Sixth Fleet was moved because President Johnson feared being drawn into a confrontation with the Soviet Union. He also ordered that no aircraft be sent near Sinai.

A CIA report on the incident issued June 13, 1967, also found that an overzealous pilot could mistake the Liberty for an Egyptian ship, the El Quseir. After the air raid, Israeli torpedo boats identified the Liberty as an Egyptian naval vessel. When the Liberty began shooting at the Israelis, they responded with the torpedo attack, which killed 28 of the sailors. In 1981, the National Security Agency noted that accounts by members of the Liberty crew and others did not have access to the relevant signal intelligence reports or the confidential explanation provided by Israel to the United States, which were used in the CIA investigation. The NSA concluded: “While these [signal intelligence of Israeli communications] reports revealed some confusion on the part of the pilots concerning the nationality of the ship, they tended to rule out any thesis that the Israeli Navy and Air Force deliberately attacked a ship they knew to be American.”2a

The Joint Chiefs of Staff investigated the communications failure and noted that the Chief of Naval Operations expressed concern about the prudence of sending the Liberty so close to the area of hostilities and four messages were subsequently sent instructing the ship to move farther away from the area of hostilities. The JCS report said the messages were never received because of “a combination of (1) human error, (2) high volume of communications traffic, and (3) lack of appreciation of sense of urgency regarding the movement of the Liberty.” The report also included a copy of a flash cable sent immediately after the attack, which reported that Israel had “erroneously” attacked the Liberty, that IDF helicopters were in rescue operations, and that Israel had sent “abject apologies” and requested information on any other U.S. ships near the war zone.

Initially, the Israelis were terrified that they had attacked a Soviet ship and might have provoked the Soviets to join the fighting.3 Once the Israelis were sure what had happened, they reported the incident to the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv and offered to provide a helicopter for the Americans to fly out to the ship and any help they required to evacuate the injured and salvage the ship. The offer was accepted and a U.S. naval attaché was flown to the Liberty.

The Israelis were “obviously shocked” by the error they made in attacking the ship, according to the U.S. Ambassador in Tel Aviv. In fact, according to a secret report on the 1967 war, the immediate concern was that the Arabs might see the proximity of the Liberty to the conflict as evidence of U.S.-Israel collusion.3a A second secret report concluded, “While the attack showed a degree of impetuosity and recklessness, it was also clear that the presence of a U.S. naval vessel, unannounced, that close to belligerent shores at a time when we had made much of the fact that no U.S. military forces were moving near the area of hostilities was inviting disaster.”3b

Sorry commenter there was no intention of pre-1967 borders Israel taking on invading Arab armies and the super power the United States. That’s not smart thinking.

In Conspiracy Theory when it involves Jews, the international aspect of the Rothschild family has always figured large in the accusation of Jewish World Domination. Here is an example:

SECRECY IS THE HALLMARK of the Jewish Rothschild Dynasty. But I, Brother Nathanael Kapner, a former Jew, am intent on bursting the “Rothschild-bubble.” I am doing this because I perceive that the Rothschilds, (they are Jews), are the leaders, (they are secretive), in destroying Christian civilization throughout the world. (How The Rothschild Dynasty Operates; By Nathanael Kapner; Real Jew News; 4/29/08)

If the Rothschilds are involved in a NWO conspiracy I doubt that the little sliver of land known as Israel is a cog in that agenda. Here is some info that is probably closer to the truth about the Rothschild family in monolithic terms:

There is no longer any such thing as a monolithic House of Rothschild with connections to any significant number of all the scores of today’s independent Rothschild business ventures. The closest thing is Rothschilds Continuation Holdings AG, a Swiss company that manages interests in many Rothschild-founded institutions. There are no longer any Rothschild family members on its board (the last having retired in 2011), though about eight Rothschilds are believed to own stakes in it (like many holding companies, it’s privately held, so its records are not public). Its other owners include Rabobank and Hong Kong based Jardine Matheson Holdings. The Rothschild funds it manages now focus on mergers and acquisitions. Make no mistake, it’s a large and successful company; but with billions in assets, it’s a relatively small fish in the sea of world financial institutions with trillions in assets, including Deutsche Bank, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, HSBC Holdings, BNP Paribas, Japan Post Bank, Crédit Agricole Group, Barclays PLC, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, Royal Bank of Scotland Group, JP Morgan Chase & Co., and many others. Anyone trying to point the finger at the scattered Rothschilds as “controlling” world banks has an awfully tall order. That little factoid is about 100 years out of date.

By my analysis, the Rothschilds are best thought of not as an evil shadow conspiracy, but as a great success story of rags to riches, Jewish slum to financing the defeat of Napoleon. The price of gold is fixed twice a day by five members of the London Bullion Association: Barclays Capital, Deutsche Bank, Scotiabank, HSBC, and Societe Generale, and they conduct their twice-daily meeting over the telephone. Today this is mere financial necessity, but until 2004, it was also a century-old tradition as great as the ringing of the bell at the New York Stock Exchange. The five distinguished representatives included a Rothschild, and they met in person in a paneled room at the London office of N M Rothschild & Sons. That ritual is now a thing of the past, as is the power of the world’s greatest financial dynasty. (These are the last two paragraphs of “The Rothschild Conspiracy”; By Brian Dunning; Skeptoid; 5/22/12)

Scroll back up toward the top to read the commenter’s accusation of British Zionism and compare to these far out Anti-Semitic words:

The Davidic monarchy of Britain, and the rulers of all her allied/related nations; including America and parts of the Commonwealth like Australia, Canada and New Zealand, and others; have purposefully hidden their people’s true Israelite identity/history from them.

To do this successfully, they have helped to promote the idea that the synagogue of Satan (Revelation 2:9 / 3:9) – those who say they are Jews and are not, are the real “Israel”, in order to draw attention away from themselves. When for the most part, these so-called Jews are actually Idumeans (from Esau/Edom), Ashkenazi (Genesis 10:2, 3) & Khazars.

Why have they done this? Why don’t they tell their people the truth? Are they ashamed of belonging to the House of Israel?

The answer is simple when you look at it from their perspective. And is why the Davidic British monarchy gave over control of Palestine to the counterfeit-Jews, who say they are Jews, and are not. The “Elite” have done a deal with the Devil’s synagogue, for their own convenience and Elizabeth Battenberg/Mounbatten even inter-married with them, and then had their male children circumcised by a rabbi, as only counterfeit-Jews can be, under counterfeit-Jewish Talmudism. (The Counterfeit-Jew Zionist and Judahite British Elite Conspiracy; By cybe;; 8/15/08)

Yeah, that’s some nutty stuff.

Then the commenter mentions “the current Yahoo in charge”. I had to think about that a minute. Then I realized Marissa Mayer has a Jewish last name, so I looked up her ethno-religiosity:

Is Marissa Mayer Jewish?

Yes, the new CEO of Yahoo!, Marissa Mayer is a Jew.

Hat tip to our friend David who points out, “I find it interesting that Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and as of Monday, Yahoo!, are all run by Jews.” (Is Marissa Mayer Jewish? By Tzvee Zahavy; The Talmudic Blog; 7/16/12)

Jews in the 21st century are from religious to secular and even to atheistic in their belief system. I have no idea where MS Mayer stands on her heritage and this is not the place to do further research to satisfy my curiosity. Nevertheless I can see that the commenter is concerned about her Jewishness. And so we can conclude that the commenter is an Anti-Semite because of the obvious everything Jewish is evil mentality.

Daniel chapter 9 is about Daniel’s awareness that Jeremiah’s prophecy that 70 years of exile had elapsed which meant the time for the Jews to return home had come. In chapter 9 Daniel intercedes to God for mercy on the Jews’ past path that was so bad that God’s punishment was to exile them from the Promised Land. I am guessing the commenter presumes this is an example of God abandoning Jews because of sin. The reality is if you read the rest of Daniel 9 God Almighty gives Daniel a vision which for Christians has a double meaning. The first meaning was Jews indeed would return home and stay there until the Messiah comes. For the majority of Jews this has not happened, but for Christians that Messiah was and is Jesus Christ of the lineage of David in the flesh and the Son of God by incarnation. Again Jewish leadership became more worldly minded than spiritual minded losing their rebellion against the Romans which in turned emptied huge chunks of Jews into exile called the Diaspora. Guess what: When the Messiah returns again the Jews will know Him as Jesus the Messiah and Savior.

In my opinion it is a bit of an expectation that the majority of Jews in the present are wary of Jesus Christ as Messiah because of how the Christian Church forsook the love of Christ to persecute Jews as Christ-killers not realizing the Chosen People’s time of full restoration will not occur until Christ Returns. Modern Israel is the miracle that should signify to Christians the fullness of the times of the Gentiles has not happened yet but is getting closer.

Chuckle … The commenter quite cleverly lists Christians that agree with the Bible that the Jews are the Chosen People have been “Neo-Conned”. That is a reference to the name of the blog that the comment was actually left upon – the NeoConservative Christian Right (NCCR). My favorite blog to post on is actually SlantRight 2.0; however the NCCR is my secondary blog that usually benefits from cross posting.

It is true, even though Neoconservatism has bad a rap with the Left and many on the Right I have an affinity for this Conservative ideology. For myself I am a fiscal Conservative with domestic issues and a supporter of a big military to keep America strong, protected and free. Most Libertarian-Conservatives and perhaps a majority of Paleoconservatives lean to going back to pre-WWII days when America purposely kept the military small under an Isolationist Foreign Policy. Isolationism was good for its day when the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans served as a buffer against militarily powerful nations.

Japan bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 which signaled the end of ocean buffers as a protection for the USA. This means Isolationist policies will always be ineffective in protecting our homeland. Only a pro-active military will keep America the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

Another aspect of NeoConservatism was the concept of spreading American-style democracy to otherwise hostile despotic nations. The theory being a nation of laws might disagree with American National Interests but would be more interested in achieving a diplomatic solution to disagreements with a like-minded governing system.

I have since modified my agreement with nation-building after encountering actual hatred from Muslim citizens for delivering them from despotism. That anger is based primarily on the Islamic theopolitical dynamic that is totally the opposite of the Constitutional Freedom Americans have. Muslims have been totally brainwashed by their religion that politics and religion are equal partners in governance. Islam’s holy writings demand absolute submission to their deity Allah and absolute respect for their false prophet Mohammed in a socio-political sense as well as religiously. If the governing authorities fail to uphold this mind-set through a Muslim rule of law known as Sharia massive riots occur. There is no amount of nation-building that will change this Muslim-mindset without forcing a situation where the people are taught a system more accustomed to Liberty and Freedom.

In the 21st century an all-out war to conquer an evil religious ideology is Politically Incorrect. However, the all-out war concept to transform the minds of a conquered people is part and parcel of Islamic ideology from the days of conquering Mohammed through to the present time. That is the West’s current weakness.

Now back to the commenter. I suspect the commenter’s problem with NeoConservatism is less with its broad ideology but more with the movement’s historical figures which were often Jewish and/or Marxist in their thought process. Liberal Jews joined bewildered Marxists abandoning Communism due to the example of the abject failure Leninist-Stalinist and Maoist Communism to bring forth a civil free society. One famous Neocon brought forth this transformative thought: A Neocon is a Liberal mugged by reality (Loose memory of the original quote). I believe I have already established the commenter has a problem with Jews. You can see the antipathy and dislike then of NeoConservatism.

The Golden Report

Obama first made it a hate crime to speak out against homosexuals, and taught the children in public schools to accept homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle. He forced it upon the US military, and is now making it the law of the land to allow queers to be legally married.

In the short time Kerry has been the Secretary of State he has made 5 trips to Israel trying to force a Two State Solution – dividing Israel by giving the enemies of God the Land he promised to the Jews. He has made the prudence of the USA the laughing stock of the world and the Devil’s delight.

There is, deep in my spirit, a reverberating echo of that still small voice I know so well, that is saying; “They think they know better, they think they can laugh in my face with their filthy perverted life style, they believe there are no consequences for their mockery of My Word.”

Europe, for the most part, has become Godless. Living in the fear and hate of Islam with leaders who seem to be spineless in the face of this fear and hate that has overtaken them.

Now fasten your eyes on Israel and see the great hand of God move in His Glory and Power. A great war is about to begin. Not the final battle of Armageddon but the war of Zechariah 12 – followed by a great outpouring of anti-Semitism against Jews and Israel. It is mostly during this time period we will need boats and all the help we can get to save as many Jews as we possibly can, with your help. Gen. 12:3.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel and all the IDF, pray for this ministry and your part in it.

Forget Palestine – It’s Time for a Greater Israel

Israel speck map 2 circled

John R. Houk

© December 9, 2012

Dovid Efune writes about the seemingly growing isolation of the only Western style democracy in the Muslim world. Of course that isolated nation is Israel. If you look on a map the Land of Israel looks like a speck on the globe. Israel is surrounded by Jew-Hating Muslim nations that have tried to destroy Israel since its modern manifestation in 1948. It is evidence of God’s miracle that Israel has withstood, pushed back and recaptured some of its Biblical land in seemingly eternal moments of Muslim hatred to remain a free Jewish haven from persecution of Jewish people.

Here we are in the twelfth year of the 21st century and Israel’s detractors have expanded beyond Muslim Jew-Hatred. Western style nations as in the EU, USA, Australia and others have began lining up on the Muslims side. Not so much because of a glowing love for the despotism inherent in Muslim nations, rather the Western nations are lining up because many Muslim nations control significant portions of the world’s oil deposits. Since the European Union has become so secular that its Christian heritage has begun to vanish, geopolitics and geo-economics leads them to abandon the Jewish State of Israel and to support the Jew-Hating Muslim nations.

Even though academics try to downplay the fact that the USA is still the world’s preeminent hyperpower, Americans still feel an affinity to their Christian heritage and supporting Israel as an underdog against a sea of haters. Unfortunately most Americans that are supportive of Israel’s predicament are anesthetized to the Obama Administration’s agenda to support the Muslim agenda.

So we must ask ourselves, what is the reason that President Barack Hussein Obama would stick to the deception of land for peace to a people that hate America almost as much as they hate Jews? The USA is not as secular as the EU and Americans still consider themselves Christians even if numerous Christians are not religious Christians. So even though Leftists HATE the appellation of America being a “Christian nation,” we Americans live in a nation we consider being Christian by majority. This leads us to the possible answer for Obama’s reasoning for siding with Jew-Hating Muslims.

Let’s examine a bit of Obama’s past that he cannot hide yet American voters evidently refuse to consider.

President Barack Hussein Obama attended a Church that preached Black Liberation Theology for twenty years. While Obama attended a Church that preached hatred of White people and that God should damn America, BHO palled up with like-minded Marxists like Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn and the Jew-Hating/White-Hating Nation of Islam (NOI) leader Louis Farrakhan.

President Bush was under the same delusion that a non-people who call themselves Palestinians rather than Arabs should have their own sovereign nation. Obama has not only followed in that delusion but has done so in such a way that isolates Israel from the West to force Israel to accept a Jew-hating nation called Palestine to come into existence.

Here are some facts to look at pertaining to Israel’s existence. Iran has been saber rattling against Israel’s existence since the Khomeini revolution. The problem is Iran is about to become a nuclear armed nation. A nuke armed Israel adds a little reality to Iran’s threat to Israel’s existence. Adding to Iran’s threat is the threat of Iranian client States and transnational terrorist organizations that spout Jew-Hatred.

Those clients are the waning Assad regime of Syria and Hezbollah and to a certain extent Hamas as well. Assad’s regime might end due to the Syrian civil war; however his regime probably will be exchanged for an equally Jew-Hating Sunni-Islamist government sympathetic to al Qaeda.

Mahmoud Abbas’ Palestinian Authority pretends to be an agent of peace but the reality is the PA’s Jew-Hatred media and the PA’s looking the other way as Islamic terrorists murder Jews that have a legitimate claim in Judea-Samaria. The land of Judea-Samaria is the land that would be stolen to create a Palestinian State.

Hamas is the Muslim Brotherhood tool that openly calls for Israel’s destruction from the tiny Gaza Strip (could be renamed Hamastan).

The Muslim Brotherhood is making a grab for the control of Egypt to make that nation the Sunni version Iran. Even with the Jew-Hatred inherent among Egyptian Muslims there is currently rioting in the streets to prevent a Sharia based Constitution.

European nations are again beginning to be infected with the Antisemitism that has persecuted Jewish Europeans for thousands of years that reached its high point of hatred in the Nazi Final Solution of Adolf Hitler. Frankly I blame this resurgence of Antisemitism in Europe on the Muslim immigrants that have refused to adapt to the West and are becoming more and more radicalized under the influence of purist Islam.

I am with Dovid Efune in supporting Prime Minister Netanyahu’s response to the United Nations General Assembly bringing a Palestinian State closer to existence: “Build, Bibi, Build”. The anti-Israel elements of the globe are working the circumstances that will result in an attack on Israel, so build more Jewish housing in the eastern half of Jerusalem. For that matter build more Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria and the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians out of the Biblical land of Israel.

Olympics Shining Light on Global Antisemitism

Jay Carney White House Press Secretary

Now Even Obama Administration Fails Affirmation Jerusalem is Israel’s Capital

John R. Houk

© July 28, 2012

The White House Press Secretary Jay Carney REFUSES to answer the question: “What is the Capital of Israel?” This goes hand in hand with the BBC refusing to list Jerusalem as the Israeli Capital city. In the Olympic list of Capital cities the non-entity Palestine has its Capital city listed as East Jerusalem.

HELLO! There is NO East Jerusalem! After Israel lost the Old City of Jerusalem which included the ancient Jewish Quarter to Transjordan’s (Now Jordan) British led Arab Legion in 1948, Jordan then proceeded to annex the land that belonged to Israel via the original British Mandate for Palestine. This unilateral annexation included the Old City Jerusalem which was then dubbed East Jerusalem.

After yet another Arab invasion of Israel in 1967 and yet another Israeli victory, the land dubbed the West Bank by Jordan and East Jerusalem was reverted BACK to Israel via the same way Jordan usurped the land in 1948. If the Arab nations and Jordan in particular ever intended the land called Judea-Samaria by Israel was ever intended as a national homeland by Arab created refugees later dubbed Palestinians, THEN Jordan would have turned their conquered West Bank land into a Palestinian State.

Jordan DID NOT! In 1967 Israel reclaimed their land by military victory over invaders.

We all know the reason behind the refusal is that the Obama Administration is anti-Israel and is determined to establish a Jew-Hating Palestinian State by forcing Israel to give up land that is of Jewish Heritage INCLUDING the City of David – Jerusalem.

Israel is for Jews. In 1948 the American government recognized Israel as the Jewish State while at least FIVE Arab invading armies invading the sliver of land Israel controlled even though the British Mandate for Palestine was created to establish a homeland for the Jews reuniting them to the land God Almighty Promised to them from the time of Abraham. That Abrahamic Covenant was passed down through the child of Promise Isaac, then to Jacob, to Jacob’s 12 sons and actuated by Moses and Joshua.

As Christians we believe that Abrahamic Covenant would mean Salvation is of the Jews; thus Jesus Christ the Son of God in Divinity and the son of Mary in the flesh is from the tribe of Judah (the son of Jacob-Israel) and the lineage of King David. God promised David there would always be a descendant on the throne of Israel. Conquests and Diasporas ended the throne of David and as such religious Jews await the Messiah descendant of David to reassume the throne of David. Of course we Christians believe descendant is Jesus the Christ (the anointed Messiah) that has brought Redemption to individuals and in His Second Coming will bring Full Redemption including the nations of the Earth.

Jesus in His Kingdom, New Jerusalem

In that future time Jesus sits on the throne of David in the City of David on Mt Zion which is Jerusalem the current Capital of Israel and future Capital of the world under Divine Administration with the Twelve Apostles of the Lamb on Twelve Thrones governing the Tribes of Israel and Administrating the Nations.

Yes the Jews are still important to God as the Chosen People that reign with Christ. The Obama Administration is executing a grievous injustice by not recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel and the spiritual center of Judaism for Jews globally.

WATCH :: White House Spokesman Refuses to Identify Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel

By One Jerusalem

What is wrong with this White House?
At the daily White House news briefing, White House Press Secretary
Jay Carney refused to name Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

VIDEO: Carney Refuses To Identify Capital Of Israel Twice In White House Press Briefing

This slap to Israel’s face comes after President Obama left Prime Minister Netanyahu sitting by himself in the White House, and Obama’s administration helped the Muslim Brotherhood take power in Egypt. No doubt, if he was asked, Carney would affirm that Cairo is Egypt’s capital. But not for Israel.

We at One Jerusalem need your help in spreading the facts about the current United States/Israel relationship. It more strained than ever.

Every supporter of Israel should know what the White House is doing. Make a donation today to help us spread the truth.

WATCH :: White House Spokesman Refuses to Identify Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel

About One Jerusalem

When reports began emanating from the negotiations at Camp David that Jerusalem was in danger of being divided, a group of Israelis and Americans decided to mobilize international grass roots support for keeping Jerusalem united under Israeli sovereignty.

One Jerusalem immediately established a website as a central address to unite people from around the world: Within a few months, hundreds of thousands of people signed a petition in support of keeping Jerusalem as the united capital of Israel.

In January of 2001, One Jerusalem held its inaugural event, the largest rally in the history of Jerusalem. More than 400,000 people filled the hills around Jerusalem’s Old City for an unprecedented demonstration of support for Israel’s beleaguered capital city, just four months after the launch of a deadly Palestinian-Arab assault against the Jewish state. The world watched as the people pledged their allegiance to the preservation of Jerusalem as the eternal, unified capital of the State of Israel, forever open to all the people of the world.

Since then, One Jerusalem has READ THE REST

1920-mandate_for_palestine - League of Nations

Here is a big chance for Lefties, Moderates and Muslim Apologists to begin peeling the bells of there goes the Christian Zionist extremist bigot.

Israel is the Land of the Jews. Israel is the Land of Promise given to Abraham and his descendants through the genealogical line of the son of Promise Isaac, Jacob and so on through Judah and on through to David, Solomon and on through Zerubbabel through Mary the mother of Jesus (Adopted father Joseph genealogy) who is also the Son of God (and HERE) the Savior of the Jews first and then the Gentiles by the Redeeming Blood of the Christ.

The Biblical witness is good enough for me as far as I am concerned; nonetheless there are Jewish Zionists and Christian Zionists that point to a more historical and secular reasoning to justify Israel as the Land of the Jews. Below is some excellent reasoning that places a heavy emphasis on ancient historical evidence and relatively recent modern documentation affirming Israel is the Land of the Jews.

If you are a friend of Israel this is an AWESOME essay that not only justifies Israel’s existence but demonstrates that there is NO SUCH PEOPLE KNOWN AS PALESTINIANS.

For God Goes with You to War

Cap America for Israel

Here Ari Bussel writes how Islamic terrorists take of advantage of Israel’s rules of engagement with enemy civilians (i.e. if that is even possible when a majority of Arabs called Palestinians actively support their governing Islamic terrorists). The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) do something different than other nations in a counter-attack. The IDF warns those considered civilians that they are coming with military intent of extreme prejudice to engage the enemy cowardly Islamic terrorists who kill Israeli civilian men, women and children then slip back to their holes like cockroaches fleeing the light.

Yet Bussel’s indictment is not so much against the Islamic terrorists as it is with heads in the sand Left Wing Jews that are willing to give up their land to Arabs because of the delusion an exchange of Jewish land for peace will solve the problem of Islamic terrorism. Bussel’s indictment is against the failure of the Israeli government to be out and ahead of Palestinian lies, propaganda and downright deception that is fed to the gullible West. The Western governments then project the idiocy that the Arabs called Palestinians are victims of Israeli aggression when the reality it is Jews that are the victims of Jew-hatred from Muslims.

For God Goes with You to War

By Ari Bussel

Sent: 9/6/2011 8:15 AM

“When you go forth to battle against your enemies, and you see a horse and a chariot, a people much more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them, for the Lord, your God, is with you, He who brought you from the Land of Egypt.

“And as you get near to the war, the priest will approach and talk to the people.  And he shall say to them:  Hear O, Israel, you are getting near today to war upon your enemies.  Your heart should not soften.  Do not worry and do not hasten and do not affright from them.

Israelis are a strange bunch.  At the moment, they seem confused, bewildered, otherwise smartly occupied.

It was before the land incursion into Gaza, that Rabbis and Commanders talked with the soldiers who were about to enter into the Devil’s Inferno.  They would risk their lives, and fourteen of them would die.  Why?  Simply, because the Israeli military protects the lives of the innocent, even at great risk to its own soldiers.

Many would contest the presumption of “innocence” of the Gazans.  For them, one simple answer was and is given:  A person is a human being, created in the image of the Almighty, and Israel, despite all the blood libels, and unlike any of her enemies, holds the sanctity of life above all else.

Crazy those Israelis.

Indeed, there were many investigations.  Most were prompted by lies propagated by Jews and Israelis, haters of Israel.  They cannot fathom the very existence of the Jewish state, so they called what happened in Gaza, from the comforts of their homes at the center of the country, a “Blood Bath.”  Interestingly, while they may have been the most vocal opponents of Israel, there are the silent voices of the Gazans, who in their hearts knew and know to give thanks that their sworn enemy is neither Muslim nor Arab but the Jewish People.  Anyone else, especially Arabs or Iranians, would have butchered them in an instant.  Not so the Israelis.

The Israelis called their cell phones and monitored their positions.  They knew that Hamas controls their every move and purposely inhabited every kindergarten, school, hospital and mosque throughout Gaza.  Those damn Israelis, those pigs and apes that have infested the holy land of the Muslims, they fired warning shots and directed the civilians to clear areas, where they would not be hurt.  They did everything possible to avoid civilian casualties.

Indeed, so many maligned Israel, the “Goliath” who with phosphorus bombs inflicted horrors on the population, that we started believing all the wrongdoings and did not stop for a second to think if reality can even be reconciled with the accusations.  The truth is drastically different, for any army that did not care about human life, and every army that was determined to end a conflict without risk to its own, would have finished the job in a matter of hours, or even in minutes.  Not so the Israelis.

The Gazans know that fact well.  The Israeli soldiers know that.  But there are those vocal “Peace Activists,” enemies of Israel in disguise, who want us to believe otherwise.

If I did not witness it for myself, I too would have laughed out loud in utter disbelief.  There were voices in Israel who criticized Rabbis and Commanders for strengthening their soldiers and preaching the right of way.  Why would some Israelis have an issue with going to war prepared?  Fret not, for all is done to undermine Israel’s own conviction that its fight is right, that her way is moral.  But these voices could not succeed for not only is there nothing to be ashamed of when the war is just, but it is also a necessary condition.

Israel has suffered greatly from Gazans’ firing at will into her cities and population centers.  She suffered long, all too long.  No other country would tolerate rockets and missiles fired from across the border, but Israel for some odd reason remained quiet for eight long years.

The reason is likely that those living farther away in Tel Aviv, the pretty-ultra-liberal-most-progressive-souls, did not feel the wrath of living under constant, unpredictable bombardment.  They continued their lives while those in the south, predominantly from weaker economic segments of society, had no other place to go than their homes, so they stayed and did their best to cope.

Those in Tel Aviv and their media-savvy friends knitted a net of lies and deceit that sounded too good:  The “Plight” of the “Palestinians,” the “Apartheid Rule” of Israel, give peace a chance.  It is thus not a great surprise that many of their children avoided services, although it is mandatory.  It is not at all amazing that most of their children did not visit Jerusalem even once, and one wonders how Israelis today can “give up so easily on Jerusalem.”  Give up?  Why, when you do not view something as yours.  Protect?  Not when it happens so far away, in a different land, and you sit at a café or have just returned from the beach in Tel Aviv.

However, Israel is tiny, and what happens in the very north, not far away from the border where Katyusha rockets fall, has a tendency to advance toward the center.  In the summer of 2006 the advancement stopped at Haifa, or a little bit further south.

Likewise, what happened across the border with Gaza spread to cover all cities in southern Israel.

From Lebanon in the North and Gaza in the South, the totality of Israel is now in range of very accurate and highly destructive missiles.

So between Hezbollah and Hamas, their unwavering determination to destroy the Jewish state and the new missiles and training they both received from Iran, there is not a single part of Israel that is now a safe haven for fools.

And this is exactly the miracle that is Israel.  Israelis may have ignored for too long the plight of those in the north or those in the south, but there is no difference whatsoever between one Israeli and another.  Allow me to make this point even stronger:  THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ONE ISRAELI OR ANOTHER, EVEN IF THE OTHER IS NOT JEWISH.  There you go. This is exactly what our Torah – the Jewish Bible – teaches us, that those foreign to us, the widowed and the orphaned are to be treated equally.  So we are commanded, so it is expected.  And we are reminded, lest we forget, “for slaves you have been in Egypt.”  We, too, have been foreigners in a foreign land once, a land not ours, a land to which we are not to return.

There is something unique about the Jewish State in the Land of Israel.  It is the only Jewish country in the world, the only place a Jewish person can, by right, call home.  And thus, even if one mistakenly hears or thinks that we have lost our way, we have not.  Our conviction is as deep as our history is old.  Attempt to take it away, and you will find the lion roaring beneath.

It is only a question of the lion needing awakening, exactly like the people going to war need to be reminded by the priest, encouraged by our history and focus their attention on the fact that we fight in order to exist, and we exist in order to do good.  The Almighty, Lord of Hosts, our God, will deal with the enemy, for the enemy is vile, vicious and evil—the enemy is the Enemy of God.

We, Israelis and Jews who seem so divided and lost, will emerge victorious once we realize we are one.  We knew it all along, but we were otherwise distracted by chaos, noise and other temptations. Priests and Commanders are needed to direct us properly, to remind us of the path in which we must proceed.

May we live to see the end of chaos, a time when Jewish People reside in the Land of Israel and are allowed to live their lives in peace.  May we be part of making that happen, and may we always protect all that has been given to us in trust for safekeeping and passage onto future generations.

What Palestinians?

British Mandate for Palestine 1921

I received an interesting comment of the post “Palestinians Hate Jews.” The comment was posted at my Multiply blog called Right Wing Crusader. The comment was made by Multiply user od127. Od127’s comment was two-fold. The first part was directed toward me and the second part was directed to a commenter attempted to validate the warped concept that Jews including Abraham were a Black skinned race. You can go to the Multiply link I provided to read my response to that person; however I have to say od127 agreed with my response on the subject of Jewish skin tone. The first part of od127’s comment goes as follows:

Hi rightwingcrusader.

Do the Jews have the right to claim the land as their own, chasing away the palestinians? These people had live their whole life in these lands even their ancestors.
Even before the Muslims conquer Palestina, there already were Arabs and other Semite people in Palestina.

What the Israelis drives is fear, what’s built on fear will not last.

I think your only looking at one side…’s not black or white.
The Fogel family was ultra orthodox jews. The same ultra orthodox Jews who are stealing land (literally) of people who are born there and their ancestors, driving away by force and cutting down their precious olive trees, etc.
They are purposely put there by the government to act as a buffer. They are not like normal Jews, they are extremist. These people also believe in the will of God (in their favour)
It’s a tragedy but don’t look at one side.

Take note that I did a spell check and capitalized some words and changed one word to make better sense. Also note I am not coming down on od127’s grammar or spelling. All of us when commenting on something in haste take little time to think about grammar and spelling.

Below is the response I gave to od127.

What Palestinians? Has there ever existed a Palestine nation? Have there ever existed a people or race or religion called Palestinian?

You nailed it when you said “Arabs”. The Arabs are not indigenous to the Biblical land of Israel. I am looking at one side – the Bible side. Islamic revisionism was written after the Bible and most of that when referenced to Biblical people has warped in the Quranic version spoken and written much much later.

By the time of Jewish immigration primarily from Europe to the land that was under the Ottoman Turk administration managed from Damascus, there were not that many Arabs there. Yes the Arabs were the overwhelming majority but there really was not that many. When European Jews immigrated to their ancient homeland they brought European innovation with them. The land that had been largely mismanaged by the Turks until it was difficult to habituate began to be reclaimed and modernized by the Jews. As the Jews made desolate land arable and agriculturally producing, labor was need for work. At this time a large amount of Arabs also began to immigrate to the land that still did not have a political designation of Palestine.

At this time there was a mutual and symbiotic relationship between Jews and Muslim Arabs. Jews provided a better income than Arabs were used to.

At WWI’s end the Ottomans lost a large chunk of the empire to largely British and French victors who divided up the Arab Middle East into areas that really did not have the political designations assigned by the Brits & the French.

The British Mandate for Palestine was one of those political designations. At this time all inhabitants of the Mandate for Palestine were called Palestinians. It did not matter if they were Jews or Arabs. In fact the Balfour Declaration and the new League of Nations organized the Mandate for Palestine as a place for Jews to return to their heritage.

Of course there was still a large disparity between employing Jews and employed Arabs; however most of the Arabs living in the Mandate for Palestine were just as new arrivals as the Jews were. EXCEPT for one detail: The land of the Jews was a heritage long before the Arabs lived there in numbers.

Even if looks to inhabitants before God ordained conquest of the Jewish Promised land, the inhabitants were in closer relation to the Jews than they were to the Arabs except for the Philistines.

Israel is deserving. Arabs who forced a refugee problem by not taking in the Arabs they displaced their 1948 invasions is not the fault of the Israelis.

Salvation Is of the Jews

Eretz Israel. Ezek 47 & 48

John R. Houk

© December 14, 2010

Ari Bussel has written an awesome essay with the intended reading audience being Jews. The purpose of the essay is to bring to the forefront practice of Aliyah which was and is the call for Jews to return to the Land of Promise given by God. From the days that Jews faced expulsion from Israel/Judah by Assyria then by Babylonia and again by the Romans; Jews became a people without a national homeland and became known as Diaspora Jews.

From the dispersion of Jews by Romans the Jewish Diaspora grew outside their former homeland renamed Philistia by the Romans. It is from the word Philistia that the word Palestine developed. The Diaspora initially grew in cities outside of Palestine that already had Jewish established populations. Alexandria in Egypt became one of the Jewish religious and economic centers of the Diaspora early on. I am not investigating this now but eventually Jewish populations grew in Europe from Spain to Russia. The persecution of Jews by the increasingly Christian nature of the Roman Empire and Europe undoubtedly led to a strong Jewish desire to return to the city of David; i.e. Jerusalem, the Capitol City of Israel’s greatest King David. Return to Jerusalem the location of God’s Presence on the Temple Mount for Jews.

Jews that observe the traditions of their people regard the Temple Mount as the center of the World because God’s Presence was housed there after Solomon built the First Temple following David’s death. Thus Jews always prayed to return to Jerusalem. Liberal or non-observant Jews perhaps are not so much into the awe of God’s Presence in Jerusalem which may explain there are a significant amount of Jews willing to toss the Old City half of Jerusalem back into Muslim control under the delusion peace will follow from Middle Eastern Muslims and the ones that call themselves Palestinians in particular.

At any rate apart from the Jewish connection to Jerusalem which in my opinion is preeminent. There is a vital Christian connection to Jerusalem. Jesus the son of Mary and the Son of God was descended from the kingly line of the House of Judah which hearkens back to King David. In the Christian perspective the promises to Abraham that followed through the hereditary line of Promise, became available to non-Jewish (i.e. Gentile) people through the Redemptive Sacrificial Blood of Jesus the Christ. Christians do not have the same affinity as Jews about the Presence of God on the Temple Mount because Jesus provides the opportunity of all people to be engrafted to the Natural Seed of Promise. Those that believe in the Risen Savior thus become the adopted sons and daughters of God as part of His Kingdom Family. The concept of adoption should give more meaning as to the reason the Apostle Paul frequently used the phrase about Salvation, “To Jew first and then the Gentile (or to the Greek).” Salvation is of the Jews. As a Christian I consider myself as a friend of Jews even though most Observant Jews may not consider the Christian faith as a group that are friends to Jews. Most Observant Jews frown on Christian evangelism because of the belief that it would be heresy that God would incarnate a human to form the simultaneous human-Divine nature of the Son of God. (Incidentally, the Jewish view of denying Christ’s Sonship is taken up on a militant sentiment by Muslims.)

Here is a paragraph from Ari Bussel’s article, “And They Will be a Nation to Me(Posted at the end of these thoughts at

And it is the word of God, the Almighty:  Here I take the Israelites from among the gentiles to where they have departed.  And I will collect them from all around and bring them to their land.  And I will make them one … and they will be a nation to me and I will be their God.  And my servant David will be a king unto them, and one shepherd will be for all. … And they will settle the land that I gave my servant, to Jacob, where your forefathers sat before you, and you will be there, they and their sons and their sons’ sons to the end of day, and my servant David a president to them for eternity.

Bussel’s intent is that one day all of the nation of Israel will be one day collected from its dispersion and returned by the power of God to Eretz Israel. As a Christian I see the return of Diaspora Jews as the plan of God for the Messiah – Jesus Christ – returning for the second time to bring Salvation to all peoples and nations. Salvation is of the Jews.

Abraham Leaves Haran

John R. Houk

© November 16, 2010

I believe the Land of Israel is a land that belongs to God’s Chosen People. The Land of Israel is the Land of Promise to the Jews. I know Jews will disagree with this but I believe the Promised Land is a heritage for Christians as those engrafted to the Promises of God through Christ. But unlike Christian Replacement theologians I do not believe the Christian Church replaces the Jews in the Promises of God. I believe Salvation is of the Jews and that Salvation is extended to all the nations of the Earth by the Blood of Christ. When the Apostle Paul uses the phrase to the Jew first then to the Gentile, the meaning is still the Promises of God are for the direct descendants of Abraham first and then are extended to the Spiritual descendants of Abraham through the Blood of Christ.

It is irrelevant about greater or lesser in the Jew or Gentile. That which is relevant is that whoever chases God rather than running from God are blessed in God. I believe the Jews will eventually accept Jesus Christ as their expected Messiah even as Biblical Christians view Christ the Savior as the Messiah of Promise. The ruinous attitude of Christians is the assumption that Jews are reprobates and sinners for rejecting Christ’s Messiahship. NO and again I say NO! The Jews will discover Jesus when His Second Coming delivers the nation Israel from the brink of destruction from Israel’s enemies.

Who are Israel’s enemies?

Israel’s enemies are those that hate Israel and the Jews by desiring their destruction or by intentionally or unintentionally aiding Israel’s enemies. The tragedy is this definition of the enemies of God would include many nations that have a Christian heritage but have abandoned Christianity for Secular Humanism.

Secular Humanism the anti-God movement disguised as an ideology that betters human society without God and with human hands. Beware Europe and America for God’s protection may lapse by supporting Muslim Arabs in the name of National Interests and National Economies rather than supporting God’s people awaiting their Messiah. Beware secular Jews that honor their heritage but dishonor their G-d by adopting Secular Humanist ideology over the expectation for a Messiah.

The times are a changing AND Christ will return to collect His own and perhaps offer one last chance to accept the Lord’s Redemption before the Last Judgment.

JRH 11/16/10

By Bernice Sacks Lipkin and Lewis Edward Lipkin; appendix by Richard H. Shulman

September/October 2010

There be established a homeland for the Palestinian Arabs who currently reside in UNRWA-run refugee camps and in the Territories: Samaria, Judea and Gaza.

This entity is to be established on unused land in the Middle East within the holdings given or assigned to the Arabs and endorsed by the League of Nations after the Ottoman Empire was dissolved after World War I.

Palestina could be 10X the size of Israel (including Samaria, Judea and Gaza) and still not make a dent in the Arab land holding. The 22 Arab League states have 42% more land than the 50 United States of America. The Arabs currently have over 99.9% of the Middle East, while Israel has less than 1 tenth of 1 percent (0.1%).

The Arab states would have an opportunity to translate their often-expressed sympathy for their Palestinian brethren into useful action. Palestina would also redress an old injustice — the Arab states created the Arab refugee problem when they urged the Arabs in Israel to flee when they invaded Israel in 1948. These people and their descendants are still in refugee status. The Arab states also created another group of refugees. Almost a million Jews — Jews living in Arab countries — were harassed, deprived of human rights, had their stores, schools and homes ransacked and destroyed, saw hundreds of Jews murdered in riots and pogroms, and were forced to flee their homes and leave their property behind, because of Arab anger at the creation of the State of Israel. But Israel has already solved that problem by absorbing most of these Jewish refugees at its own expense.

PM Netanyahu has asked for ‘out of the box thinking’, perhaps as a substitute for the 1state-2state controversy that goes nowhere. We believe implementation of this proposal has a realistic chance at bringing peace and stability to the Middle East.

Nature of the Land Region to be assigned to the Palestinians

·       Palestina should be isolated from Arab population centers. PLO behavior in Lebanon and Jordan suggests the Palestinian Authority (P.A.) has a tendency to try to take control of host countries.

·       It should not be in Jordan, because that is too close to Israel. With sufficient separation, it would not be as easy to attack Israel by missile or individual acts of terror.

·       The Jews who fled from Arab states left behind property some 4 to 5 times the size of all of Israel. That should compensate the host Arab country in establishing Palestina.

·       For some set period of time, Palestina would receive the funds now expended by E.U., UNRWA and the U.S.A. on the Arab refugees.

·       For the Arabs now living in the Territories and the refugee camps, it would be about as much a culture shock as moving from Worcester to Boston. They would remain in the Arab culture, Muslim religion and Middle East geography; they would enjoy familiar foods and life styles, and speak the same language.

·       Sympathizers will have the opportunity to come to Palestina and help develop the infra-structure for administering a viable state.

·       Palestina will be monitored — likely by drone planes, satellite imagery and internet traffic statistics — only to the extent of preventing the training of the native population and foreigners to commit acts of terror outside Palestina. If they continue to prefer thug government and fighting each other by clan/tribe/religious sect, that is their decision. It will be countenanced as long as it remains within the confines of the state of Palestina.

Why Is This a Propitious Time?

American attitudes:

·       In general Americans support Israeli as against Arab claims; this is particularly true of the conservatives, both religious and secular. (The further the individual is to the left, the more anti-Israel he tends to become.) For the next year or two, people who never voted for conservative candidates will do so to show anger towards the current administration’s policies.

·       The majority of Congress is sympathetic to Israel. At present, however, the American Congress can’t really say anything when Israeli leaders keep pretending that all they want for Chanukah is another Palestinian state neighboring Israel.

·       However, years of unrefuted claims that Israel is occupying Palestinian land have taken their toll. The demands for divestiture and boycotts against Israel grow. The Arabs have captured the support of influential elements of several mainstream churches. Too often, university administrators let their activist Muslim students determine which speakers holding what political ideology will have access to the student body. More people, especially students at college, accept — or at least do not challenge — the Palestinian claims. And Anti-Semitic statements are made more openly, often in the guise of anti-Zionism.

To refute the assertion fueling this hostility — namely, that Israel is occupying Arab land — Israel’s ownership of Mandated Palestine must be broadcast loud and clear. Simultaneously, restructuring the Palestinian problem as one of providing the Palestinian Arabs with a viable space — not a particular space — would change the dynamics.

Israel’s Internal Enemies Are Losing Power:

·       A few years ago, the authority and opinions of pro-Palestinian NGOs including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International and strong anti-Israel groups like Peace Now were unquestioned. That is no longer true. Their own conduct is now under examination. Simultaneously, there are more pro-Israel blogs that disseminate the facts and correct misleading and false statements made by pro-Palestinian groups.

·       Israeli Marxist leftists have been exposed as undemocratic; their highly selective definition of freedom of speech is under attack. And Israel is finally introducing patriotism into its school system. Israelis aren’t as easy to persuade to give up land as they used to be, especially after the Gaza expulsion debacle.

Middle East (ME) politics and current crises:

Considering the political events in the Middle East and the growing strength of the enemy, Israel can no longer rely on temporizing measures, or waste her time and resources on inadequate measures to keep the enemy at bay. Nor should she be flirting with suicidal actions such as considering creating an enemy state in her tiny space.

The major and growing problems in the Middle East are:

1.   increasing instability in an already volatile region. This is accentuated by the increased brazenness of Hamas (founded by the Muslim Brotherhood) and Hezbollah (founded and funded by Iran).

2.   Iran’s outspoken intent to destroy Israel by weapons of mass destruction.

These problems are exacerbated by “random” terrorist acts such as those committed by the West Bank Palestinian Arabs. These add perturbations to a situation that could easily go ballistic. It would reduce the problem of how to handle ME instability to take the Palestinians out of the equation.

Other considerations:

Turkey has joined Iran — and/or is challenging Iran for Number 1 Position of Power in the Middle East.

It is likely the Arab States all still want to kill off Israel. But that’s a long-term project. And Saudi Arabia inter alia has more immediate concerns. Right now Iran and Saudi Arabia (S.A.) are at (proxy) war. S.A. needs Israel’s help as much as Jordan and the Palestinian Authority (P.A.) do. Moreover, S.A., which has lavishly sponsored religion-inspired terrorism abroad, is now confronting the fact that the terrorist movement it helped create has turned its deadly operations on Saudi Arabia itself. Gilles Kepel put it, “the interaction [between MB ideas and Wahhabi teachings] … lead to the rise of a new, internationalist form of Salafism, which is…in important ways, the dominant cultural force in the Arab ME.”

President Mubarak of Egypt is old and in poor health. When he dies, the Muslim Brotherhood (which was founded in Egypt almost a century ago) will be under less restraint in exerting its influence. It is popular, well-organized and its members currently hold 19% (88/454) Assembly (lower house of the Parliament) seats. It plans to fight for the 30% at-risk parliamentary seats in the next election scheduled for late 2010. Its ex-UN opponent/ally, Mohamed El Baradei, has a weaker tactic: he calls for boycotting the election.

The Egyptian MB also has some affiliation with Iran’s rulers and they have influenced each other in shaping their religion-based ideological and political views, though, practically speaking, their major intersection is their mutual involvement with Hamas. And the MB is a growing threat to the “moderate” Arab countries. Jordan’s King Abdullah, though protected by Israel, has no compunction about trashing Israel whenever possible. He is, however, deferential toward the MB and recently conferred honors on two of their leaders. This suggests he respects — and fears — the MB, not Israel.

Increasing its dominance in the Middle East will enhance the Brotherhood’s sophisticated programs around the world, which are directed at demonizing Jews and substituting Sharia law for local laws and regulations. It has said its goal was jihad to destroy the USA. The MB has extensive financial and political resources, and is constantly developing and supporting new groups and techniques for spreading Islam (See here.) They have infiltrated the educational system and the media in the West; and they are expanding the construction and control of mosques everywhere. They do not hesitate to do whatever they think is necessary, legal or illegal. Allowing the MB to increase its power in the ME would have direct repercussions on the West.

P.A. and Hamas leaders continue to bluster that they will not be satisfied with anything less than returning to their old homes in Israel. But In the fall of 2010, Andrew Whitley, the New York director of UNRWA, put out what may be a trial balloon. He said that Palestinian refugees “must discard illusions they will return one day to their homes;” Arab countries must resettle them. He said Palestinian refugees needed to start “debating their own role in the societies where they are rather than being left in a state of limbo where they are helpless.” When the involved groups protested, he recanted. Nevertheless, he had voiced openly what diplomats and Arab leaders have long known: Israel isn’t going to allow itself to be flooded by Palestinian refugees.

Why Not An Arab State Neighboring Israel?

An Arab state can not be developed in, around, from, through or next to Israel because

·       There isn’t room for two viable states in that confined space, particularly when the Arabs are determined to destroy the Jewish state.

·       Israel has title to all of Mandated Palestine — Israel, Samaria, Judea, Golan and Gaza. By the Bible. By maintaining residence through thick and thin. By history. By devotion and the ability to make the land become alive again. By an irrevocable trust authorized by international law (Start with this, this, this and this). And by right of conquest after surviving multiple Arab invasions.

·       Samaria and Judea (aka the West Bank) are Biblical Israel. They are the soil in which Judaism developed. A proud people does not throw away its inheritance. Were Israel to become a rootless nation and allow the Arabs to control its holy sites, its people would lose what made them a people. The State would lose its purpose: the redemption of the Land of Israel. And the sympathy of its millions of Christian friends and many of its strongest Jewish supporters in the West would be lost.

·       Israel can not allow another state to control its mountain aquifer in Samaria-Judea; especially when the Arabs — despite all the money and technology available to them from foreign benefactors — mucked up the Gaza portion of the coastal aquifer, under their control since 1995, by overpumping, digging illegal wells and ignoring raw sewage pollution. Importing water has become impractical, especially now that Turkey has become unfriendly. Reverse osmosis desalination has relieved some of the water problem and is the method of choice for brackish water. But its capital costs are high, it doesn’t completely remove all the contaminants, it impacts the environment and it has problems disposing of the extracted material. Moreover, northern desalination plants can be crippled by sewage dumped into the Mediterranian from Gaza polluting the intake water; and all plants are susceptible to terrorist attack. Israel can not operate a comprehensive solution including conservation and recycling with the Arabs attacking some of the sites and digging illegal wells.

·       Gaza is already host to various terror gangs. It is a certainty that if Israel gives up Samaria and Judea, Hamas will soon control the area, making it easier for Hamas and Hezbollah and the splinter groups to coordinate their ongoing war against Israel and link to like-minded groups in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon and Iran.

·       The once small cottage industry where Palestinian Arabs manufactured small explosives and smuggled in small missiles has evolved. Currently, rockets and missiles in the Territories can reach everywhere in Israel, including air traffic coming into the Ben-Gurion airport. Given their current rocket range, aside from reducing Israel’s tourist industry dramatically because people will be afraid to come to Israel, the downing of a plane is a certainty waiting to happen. More generally, with less land in which to create a safety margin, Israel’s ability to safeguard her population becomes near impossible. Maj-Genl (res.) Giora Eiland has pointed out that a shift in the borders that Israel controls would (1) give the enemy the ‘lines of visibility’ that would enable their weaponry to cover Israel’s roads and strategic positions; and (2) block Israel’s ability to deploy its anti-missile defense systems, which need more distance than the 9-miles width of the 1949 cease-fire lines.(See here.)

·       The weaker Israel becomes, the greater will be the sequential pressure to surrender additional pieces of Israel: Syria will claim the Golan; the Arab farmers in the Jordan valley, already favored by the police and the judiciary in disputes with the Jewish farmers, will demand autonomy or absorption by the Palestinian state; and the Beduin, who have not been restricted from illegally building in the Negev, will effectively control the Negev, not matter what the political structure is called.

·       Israel cannot rely on third party promises of safeguarding Israel. The U.N. has been consistently hostile; its Goldstonian anti-Israeli decisions have become a caricature of truth and justice, but because these decrees are from the U.N., they are taken seriously. The E.U. has expended emotional and financial capital in improving the lives of the Palestinians. The Europeans are unlikely to give up their benevolent self-image, no matter what the facts. Americans genuinely like Israel, but that doesn’t guarantee that a particular Administration, Democratic or Republican, will help Israel in a crisis. It speak volumes about the attitude of the current administration that reports that the USA will lease land from the Palestinians for Israel are credible.(See here). The wars the U.S.A. has fought in the Middle East have been to protect Arabs.

Won’t the media and “the world” react violently?

Of course. Don’t they always? About everything. About anything.

PR can not be an after thought. It can not be delayed. It must be integrated with implementation. It must be sustained. It must be repeated over and over and over again. In straightforward language.

PR will be simplified

·       when Israel finally starts rebutting Arab claims that they own the Land of Israel and when Israeli spokesmen stop shilling for a Palestinian state along side Israel. Most of the Arabs in Israel themselves are legal/illegal immigrants or are the descendants of Arabs who came into Israel after 1900 for economic reasons. Altogether, the majority of the Palestinians in Israel and in the Territories are descendants of illegal/legal immigrants, not natives.

·       when Israel and its spokesmen in the West start and continue to point out that Israel, through no desire of its own, finds itself in the front lines fighting a war that Radical Islam is waging against the West.

·       when the case is made that Israel is passionate about its land and will not give up an inch of it. Offering to share arouses suspicion that the land does not really belong to Israel. Offering to share provides an irresistible opportunity for everyone to voice an opinion on whether Israel is a legitimate state or not.

·       when the transfer to Palestina is presented as the second stage of population exchange. The first stage occurred when Jews were forced to flee from the Arab countries and most came to the new state of Israel. Click here for “The Case for Population Exchange” of the Jewish and Arab populations in context of the history of population exchange.)

·       when people are presented with a clear set of alternatives: supporting Israel which, in a few short years, has significantly contributed to medicine, science and technology to benefit humanity OR, alternatively, destroying Israel for the sake of an ersatz people (see here, here and here for starters), whose major contribution to civilization is the development of techniques for beheading, dismembering, and multilating human beings.

Dealing with Hamas as well as the P.A.

How can this peace plan handle Hamas and the P.A., Hamas versus the P.A., Hamas instead of the P.A., and the possible installation of a strict Muslim terror government to replace a secular Muslim terror government?

When negotiators smoke the peace pipe in Washington, they tend to ignore the reality that half the Arab population in the Territories live under Hamas rule, where emerging terrorist gangs are welcome but Christian Arabs and Fatah supporters are under attack. To cut a runnel between Gaza and Samaria-Judea would create easy passage for Hamas to access Jewish targets in Israel and P.A. targets in Samaria-Judea. It would also encourage the Hamas and the P.A. to wage internecine war or to unite and wage war against Israel — or to do both. To leave the areas separated means essentially to create two Arab states, both determined to destroy Israel, one by terror and violence, the other more subtly by propaganda and using third party support, while nibbling away at Israeli land. Meantime, Abbas’s term of office expired in 2009.

Can you expect cooperation from Hamas and P.A. in making a move to Palestina?

It is possible that Hamas will see the advantage of moving and Fatah will not. But Fatah is less capable of independent action, because it is totally dependent on the U.S.A and Israel. Suppose Hamas, being more independent and less reliant on Western handouts, refuses to leave Gaza. Given that the majority of the Palestinian Arabs from the camps and Territories are sequestered in Palestina, the problem reduces to how to defang Hamas. Israel won’t be in the ambivalent position of fighting Hamas while trying to make friends with it.

Can you put Hamas and P.A. in same place, in Palestina, and expect them to cooperate?

Perhaps not. But we will not have an investment in teaching them democracy or trying to control their political future. If Hamas transfers peacefully to Palestina, we can live with Hamas winning by ballot box, if that’s what the Palestinians want as their leaders. It will affect no one but themselves.

It won’t be just a question of what Hamas, Fatah and the Territory Arabs will do. They will be joined by the large population of refugee Arabs, some of whom may have ideas of their own.

If the Arab States have vowed to destroy Israel, why would they agree to transfer out the Palestinian Arabs?

First, the Palestinians are beginning to make the Arab countries uneasy. They have been more successful at fighting Israel than the Arab countries and might become successful at overthrowing Arab states, as their model, Hizbullah, is doing in Lebanon. They are getting better all the time: Hamas is acquiring sophisticated weapons and Fatah is being trained by the Americans. Both are affiliated with regimes not sympathetic to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States — the major oil producers. Hamas, which is popular with the Palestinians, is a creation and creature of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood is working to take over Egypt and has its eye on Jordan. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard was midwife to Hezbollah. Hezbollah has taken over Lebanon. Hamas and Hezbollah are — at the least — loosely affiliated. Sequestering the Palestinians with a wide separation from Arab population centers will make a dent in their ability to do mischief. They won’t be able to walk over to bomb a neighbor — at least not a non-Palestinian neighbor — or drive a short distance to shoot a sleeping mother and her children.

It is assumed that some Palestinians now living in Arab countries will continue living there as individuals, not as wards of the U.N. Potential Palestinian sedition is an important consideration. We still have vivid images of the delight on the faces of the Palestinians who had been living in Kuwait for many years when Saddam Hussein’s invaded Kuwait. People who saw pictures of the Arabs dancing in the streets of Patterson, New Jersey, and celebrating in Gaza when the Twin Towers were destroyed are not sanguine about taking a Palestinian’s patriotism on faith. It can be written into the establishment of Palestina that Palestinians that attempt civil insurrection in the Arab countries in which they currently reside will be deported to Palestina. Israel will also be able to deport seditious Israeli Arabs to Palestina, without involving the other Arab countries.

Second, Israel provides the military support that keeps King Abdullah of Jordan on his throne and keeps Hamas from taking the West Bank and removing President Abbas and Fatah from power. Yet both Abdullah and Abbas speak derogatorily about Israel. Israel’s elder peace partner, Mubarek of Egypt, acts like a member of the Palestinian negotiation team — the one that warns that the sky will fall if Israel doesn’t immediately capitulate.

Israel is the only ME country capable of stopping Iran from becoming Numero Uno in the Middle East and imposing its brand of Islam on the region. And the Arab countries know it, particularly Saudi Arabia, which is currently at war with Iran in Yemen.

It is time that Israel changed the rules: no tickee, no washee. King Abdullah and Mubarek need to read from a different script and start sounding respectful of Israel. Saudi Arabia has the power to “persuade” key member states of the U.N. With this new script, the Arab states won’t like Israel any better, but they’ll respect it.

Transferring out the Palestinians could be seen as doing it for their own safety, because Iran is threatening to nuke Israel.

The Palestinian leaders should have no problem in seeing advantages to a move, particularly if Israel annexes Gaza, Samaria and Judea, as it is entitled to do. The new state is an upscale move to better living quarters and expanded opportunities. Contrary to the fables their media weave, the “Palestinians” do not have ancient roots in the Territories. And they are guaranteed a steady income for some time to come.

There will be no squabble about borders and settlements, because Israel annexes the Territories, which belong to Israel.

It is the tenor of our times that presumably moral people are silent when the Palestinians slaughter Jews. They are however highly distressed if a Palestinian is detained at a check-point. They do not see the appalling immorality in equating inconveniencing Arabs with murdering Jews. The self-declared friends of the Palestinians allege, contrary to fact, that Israel is apartheid. It does not bother them that the Arab countries do not allow Jews to vote or to buy land or to build synagogues. Technically, the Arab states can not be accused of apartheid because, except for the remnants of ancient Jewish communities (many of whom predate the arrival of the Arab invaders), they don’t have Jews in their states. They don’t have Jews because they won’t allow Jews to live in their states. In fact, the P.A. and Hamas subject Arabs who sell land to Jews in the Territories to capital punishment.

We are proposing moving an unsettled, unstable group of people to a home that they can make their own. We recognize that transferring a population is a charged term. It lends itself to connotations of racism and to depriving people of their civil rights, and to charges that it is a class action that injures members of the class that might be innocent. No matter how attractive the proposed new home, some people will insist that the Palestinians — unlike all other refugees — must be returned to a land that they claim but have never owned. Never.

There are, however, other considerations. And these are based in reality. We must consider that the Palestinian Arabs have vowed to destroy Israel. They don’t just talk. Israelis have suffered severely from continued Palestinian terrorism. Israel has tried hard for peace. The more they sacrificed for peace, the more warlike the Palestinians became. Israel is entitled to take actions that will prevent sabotage, sedition and terrorism. One precedent is that after we won our independence from England, those who had remained loyal to Britain were considered traitors. Given the mood of the country, the loyalists saw it was pointless to demand restitution and restoration of their properties; they left and went North. Another precedent is after WWII, when Czechoslovakia (Sudentenland), Romania, Hungary and Poland expelled millions of resident Germans, after some of these Germans had proven to be a fifth column, who helped the Nazis. The expulsion also reduced the possibility of Germany again claiming territory as the Nazis did on behalf of the Sudenten Germans. (See statistics.)

Considering the current crises in the Middle East, arguing about the fairness or justice of transfering populations is meaningless.

There is a continuous constriction of Israel’s options as her enemies come ever closer to encircling her militarily and weakening her diplomatically.

In the near future, one way or the other, there will be a transfer of population. Either there will be a mass movement out of Samaria-Judea and Gaza of Arabs or there will be a mass movement out of Samaria-Judea of Jews.

The two processes are not similar. In the first case, it is a part of moving large groups of Arabs living in different parts of the Middle East in coordinated maneuvers to a new land with a large number of U.N. and E.U. agencies doting on them, eager to set them up in a style befitting the new Palestina people in the new land of Palestina. They’re moving up. They are bettering their condition.

The process of moving a quarter to half million Jews out of the land where Judaism was born will not be upbeat. It will be a horror show. It will be the Gaza expulsion of 1995 multiplied many times over, with one major difference: this time, the Jews are unlikely to engage in passive physical resistance. Consider also that successive Israeli governments and their bureaucracies have not been capable of dealing competently with the aftermath of the expulsion of some ten thousand Jews. Most of the Gazan Jews have still not been permanently settled. Where once they contributed to the gross national product, now, through no fault of their own, they are a drain on the Treasury. Imagine a quarter of a million to half million more Jews made homeless and jobless, a drain on Israel’s financial resources. The only funds will have to come from Israel’s coffers. The U.N. will not help. America is in no position to spend money. And it unlikely that pious Jews in the Diaspora or Pro-Israel Christians will help Israel commit suicide by leaving Biblical Israel. The expulsion will bust the bank. It will also excite the incoming Arabs to attack a demoralized and shattered people.

Some of you reading this are thinking this is an exaggeration — there’s been rumours and fantasies masquerading as information that Abbas will graciously let some settlements remain, and so some Jews will stay. Actually, he has insisted he will allow no Israelis — Jews or Muslims — to settle in his state; and his vision of a Palestinian state includes all of Israel. Even if some Jews were to remain, consider the cost of guarding them. Recall, a major reason for clearing out of Gaza was the cost of maintaining IDF forces in the Jewish areas, when the size to be guarded was 10,000 people in a circumscribed area. In Samaria and Judea, the patches of Jewish settlements are not contiguous. They will be isolated and scattered, and the population much, much larger. A nightmare to guard. A focal point for arab terrorism. A guarantee of constant battle that drains resources and is a distraction from concentrating on the hostility coming from Iran-sponsored terror troops.

The proposal in this document is a plan for a 2-state solution that has a real chance of working.

By Richard H. Shulman

Before Israel can adopt and implement a plan for dealing with its Arab enemies, it must get its own mental house in order. That means general unity. Israeli unity once seemed impossible. The decades of failed appeasement, the thousands of Muslim Arab murders of Jews that it produced, and the extreme unfairness of the outside world have strengthened Israeli public opinion against the leftist advocates of appeasement.

1. Jews should revise their mental outlook

Normal people uphold their interests reasonably. To what degree is a matter of opinion. Israeli appeasement of the Arabs and of the U.S. demands of it have been extreme. This attitude has risked national security and survival. It enabled thousands of murders of Israelis. That is not normal. Nor is it normal when people accuse Israelis who would defend themselves and their national interest of being extremist.

Jewish people are too other-directed. Centuries of powerlessness and oppression have imbued them with a craving for gentile approval. Whereas every nation acting in its own interests tries to present its actions as decent, the Jewish people tries to present itself as decent by acting against its own interests, by not being decent to themselves.

Appeasement fails. Anti-Semites cannot be placated, because they hate Jews for being Jews. The reasons they cite for hostility are rationalizations. Jews address the rationalizations, but facts from Jews cannot persuade people afflicted with the psychosis of anti-Semitism or with indoctrination in religious jihad. Likewise, the stubbornness of State Dept. anti-Zionism over the generations has proved impervious to the American need for Israeli support against first the Soviets and now the jihadists. Moreover, a Saudi prince once boasted that the prospect of lush, post-retirement consultancies with Saudi Arabia keeps State Dept. diplomats still employed by the U.S. in line with Saudi policy.

Jews act against their own interests in many ways. One example will have to suffice. Consider checkpoints. Israel has set up checkpoints to block terrorist access to Jewish communities. The U.S. demands that Israel remove the checkpoints. To please the State Dept., Israel removes many of them. Terrorists then get through and murder Jews. Israel often had to restore the checkpoints. The U.S. renews its demands. Israel complies. More Jews murdered. Israel did not act in its own interests. Israeli officials must have forgotten the Talmudic advice that if they act mercifully towards the unmerciful (terrorists), there will be no mercy for the merciful (Israelis).

Israeli officials also seem to have forgotten to study Arab culture. The officials believe that if Israelis are nice to the Arabs, the Arabs will be nice to them. Unfortunately, the Israelis confuse being nice with being obsequious. When Israel makes concessions to the Arabs, Arab culture interprets this behavior as weakness. And isn’t it? The Arabs then become contemptuous and demand more.

An example is Israel having given the Muslim Waqf the keys to the Temple Mount. The Waqf abuses its custodianship by preventing Jews from praying on the Mount, by illegal construction that gradually usurps the whole Mount, and by destroying ancient Jewish artifacts as they excavate. They threaten to riot against Jews who ascend the Mount or even pray at the Wall below it. The Israeli police acquiesce, contrary to court orders. In the face of that Israeli demonstration of weakness, the Arabs riot anyway, egged on by the supposedly peaceful Palestinian Authority. Thus the pot of war keeps boiling!

2. Israeli reforms, prerequisite for asserting Jewish rights

Although the Israeli people have rediscovered the justification and value of Jewish nationalism, the Left remains sufficiently powerful there to block most nationalist reform. Therefore, Israel needs democratic reforms of the abuses described below, as well as the previously mentioned change in its emotional attitude, before it could set up our proposed steps in dealing with the Arabs.

a.The High Court is a self-perpetuating, far-Left clique that has usurped power unrestricted by U.S.-style separation of powers. It overturns law in favor of its members’ personal preferences, however unjust, in behalf of the Arabs. The Court does not follow the rule of law. Lower Court justices often follow its line, in order to be considered for promotion.

The Court’s justices should be nominated by the Prime Minister and ratified by Knesset. Politics would intrude, but it would be more democratic.

b. Let the Knesset limit judicial power to overturn legislation! We recommend that the new Court welcome Jewish Law as precedent. The leftist majority ignores Jewish Law.

c. Israel has proportional representation. That system sounds democratic but is the opposite. In combination with a low minimum vote for Knesset representation, it gives disproportionate power to minority parties to extort from the majority. Worse, it aligns parties with party bosses who place favorites higher in the slate of candidates for Knesset.

To better reflect the will of the people, Israel needs Knesset districts. Although not perfect, this would be a great improvement.

d. The Attorney-General has usurped power much as has the Supreme Court. A balance should be restored.

e. The media is controlled largely by leftists. The government should grant radio broadcasting rights to nationalist groups, not solely to leftist groups.

f. Israeli lower education mostly has ignored Zionism and Jewish history. It sometimes even teaches the Arab doctrine that the formation of Israel was a tragedy for the Arabs and based on evil. It does not monitor the seditionist textbooks used in Arab-language schools. That may be changing now, but not enough.

g. Israeli higher education in social studies is dominated by leftists. They hire poorly qualified fellow leftists, who abuse their positions to indoctrinate students in anti-Israeli theory and to repress dissent. Propaganda is not education.

h. Israeli police do practice brutality, but against Jews. Israel is partly a police state, with pre-emptive detention of Jews, beating of lawful and peaceable demonstrators, lengthy detention without trial, false accusations, framing of dissidents (as revised verdicts proved), etc.

Past regimes instituted special harassment of Jews in Judea-Samaria and Gaza. Altercations between Arabs and Jews there usually arise from Arab stone-throwing or attempts to destroy Jews’ crops or rustle livestock or usurp fields. The government arrests Jews on the word of Arabs whose testimony is patently false, and rejects the word of Jews. Without checking, police take the word of Arabs on whose land is involved. (This discrimination may be because Israeli governments usually strive to exchange land for the broken and still unreliable Arab promise of peace. Jewish residents are in the way of that striving.) We acknowledge that in reaction to Israeli government failure to protect Jews in the Territories, a small number of Jews there have been taking revenge on Arab property.

i. Foreign governments and NGOs have been subsidizing Israeli Arab and fringe leftist organizations to engage in subversive projects up to and including expressing bigotry against Jews and calling for the destruction of Israel.

Israel has begun reacting. A proposed bill would require such subsidies to be declared. In such a small country struggling for survival, the threat of those subsidies to national security may outweigh the problems of censorship in banning such subsidies. Just as boots on the ground invade, so, too, in a sense, do hostile masses of immigrants and subversive subsidies invade. A country has a right to resist any type of invasion.

In the related matter of illegal foreign subsidy of Israeli elections, two Israeli Prime Ministers, Barak and Sharon, were involved, but only underlings were convicted. Since national independence is at stake, judicial crackdown should be sweeping and severe.

j. Many foreign countries, being pro-Arab, oppose most Israeli measures of self-defense. We propose more such measures. If adopted, more foreign countries or companies are likely to boycott Israel. Therefore, Israel must strengthen its economy to withstand the anticipated pressure.

Two ways of strengthening the economy, some of which were started by Benjamin Netanyahu when Finance Minister, are to eliminate unnecessary government regulation and spending.

1. Israel collects and remits Palestinian Authority (P.A.) excise tax revenues. Why help finance a government that endorses terrorism and threatens war?

2. Israel sometimes arms P.A. forces, and P.A. forces sometimes open fire on Israelis. This treachery is predicted and repeated. Crazy, isn’t it, to continue arming the P.A.?

3. Israel allows foreign governments to train P.A. forces in counter-terrorism and in infantry operations. But the P.A. is terrorist and threatens to attack Israel. It can use its training to counter Israeli counter-terrorism. When PM Rabin told the P.A. the names of Israel’s Arab agents in the P.A., the P.A. hunted them down. What does that tell you?

4. As mentioned before, PM Netanyahu risks Israeli security by removing checkpoints, in order to facilitate the P.A. economy.

5. For college admission and scholarships and for certain government jobs, Israel discriminates against Jews and in favor of Arabs.

6. Most Arabs living in Jerusalem are not citizens. Israel grants them welfare benefits and permits to travel in Israel. If they move away for some years, they are supposed to forfeit their Jerusalem residency permits, but protest embarrassed Israel into not rescinding the permits. Israel must learn to stand up to, and parry, attempts to embarrass it.

7. The central government of Israel encourages municipal profligacy by covering municipal over-spending. Arab towns are known to forfeit tax collection from their residents, and then bill the central government for the difference between expense and income.

8. Israel has not fully reformed the law permitting Arabs from the Territories to marry Israeli Arabs, sometimes sincerely but sometimes as pretext for gaining residency. This increases Israel’s Arab population and pressure against survival of the Jewish state.

1. Israel prides itself on being a country of law, but as mentioned earlier, Arabs threaten riots unless they get their way, which they often get. Israel should face down Arab riots despite ensuing criticism from the hostile European press. A few years ago, Israeli Arabs attacked Jews and started crowding in on a few policemen. To save themselves, the police opened fire. Under great and indignant protest domestically and from abroad, Israel condemned the police. How much law enforcement against Arab violators can one expect from police now?

2. Israeli tax collectors fear entering Arab towns. They need protection. Arabs should pay their fair share.

3. Arabs in Israel and in the Israeli-administered territories have usurped thousands of acres of public and private land. On that land and on some land that they actually own, they have built tens of thousands of houses without building permits. Israel has been discouraged by foreign critics from enforcing the law.

By contrast, domestic and foreign anti-Zionists encourage the government to demolish the small number of Jewish houses they call illegal, but which are not. They are built within authorized municipal boundaries and with authorization for almost all of the many, bureaucratic stages of official approval. (Note that we are not referring to outposts — a fancy name for most often are a couple of trailers — usually built without permits. But why are they denied permits when built within municipal bounds?) Most are, up to the last stage, approved by the Defense Minister. Defense Minister Barak heads the Labor Party that opposes Jewish retention of the Territories. For that political reason, he withholds approval and demolishes houses. Arbitrary abuse of power! Such discretion should be modified to prevent demolition orders for politics and without cause.

4. Ban the Israeli Islamic Movement, which organizes Arabs in support of terrorism, though it may not engage in it much.

5. Remove radical imams, who, under cover of religion, incite to war in Israeli mosques.

Israel offers some religious Jews a national service alternative to military draft. The national service draft should be extended only to the Arab sector, presently exempt from the draft. This would test Arab loyalty to their country. It also would entitle them to veterans’ benefits and the resulting higher ranking on job applications.

The IDF set up a few ultra-Orthodox units to meet their religious requirements. As the Jewish population becomes increasingly Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox, the Army needs its full participation. So does the economy.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews have been stretching the limits of student exemption, to a great extent because the military generally is hostile-secularist with an atmosphere of too much sexual libertinism for those Jews. Let the IDF make military service comfortable for ultra-Orthodox and then expect them to enlist.

Ending subsidy and discrimination in favor of the Arabs, enforcing the law against their wholesale seizure of land, illegal building, tax evasion, and rioting, and extending national service requirements to the Arabs would prompt many to emigrate. This is the opposite of PM Netanyahu’s policy of building up the P.A. economy, which has helped raise that economy without lowering P.A. bigotry and pro-terrorist sentiment.

If Israel ends its appeasement, and if it pursues the Jewish national interest, and if the Muslim Arabs become less of a “critical mass,” the Arabs might lose hope of taking over an Israel that they now perceive as weak. They certainly would pose less of a danger. The fewer their numbers, the less likely is war.
