When Conservatism is Brainwashed by Left

ROMANS

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. (Romans 1: 26-27 NKJV)

Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is annual event sponsored by the American Conservative Union (ACU). Typically, American Conservatives (who can afford the expenses) flock to the conference like a bee to a honeycomb.

In my opinion this meeting of Conservatives is a boost to people who admire Conservative/Christian/American values. It is a boost in a world in which the Mainstream Media (MSM) and the unfortunately influential entertainment industry crams Leftist propaganda down the throat of Americans. The MSM and entertainment not only disseminate Leftist values but also vilify and discredit traditional Conservative thought as originating from ignorant buffoons who cannot comprehend the Left is transforming our society into a godless paradise to benefit all humanity.

The Left has been propagandizing for decades resulting in moving more and more of the populace to the Leftist way of thinking in Law and Moral Relativist culture.

AND NOW even CPAC is being brainwashed against common sense Conservative values in preserving culture. CPAC is accepting as valid politically correct criticism of Biblical Morality and of Counterjihadists warning of the dangers Islam represents to Western cultural concepts of Natural Rights, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Pamela Geller cancelled Free Speech panel because CPAC refused participation to Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft.

I found it shameful that promoters of Biblical Morality in Peter LaBarbera and the Mass Resistance organization’s Brian Camenker were banned to not offend Gay Conservatives.

I ran across a post by Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality (AFTAH) expressing his disappoint with CPAC validating homosexuals who call themselves Conservatives as legitimate while delegitimizing Biblical Morality Conservatives. In LaBarbera’s post provides a link to a Cliff Kincaid (of America’s Survival) interview with LaBarbera over this CPAC immoral decision on an AFTAH post from 2/26/18:

The American Conservative Union, the sponsor of CPAC, is working to normalize homosexual activity and destroy the winning Reagan coalition of social, economic, and foreign policy conservatives. The effect will be to marginalize and isolate traditional conservatives and drive millions of Christians out of the Republican Party.

CPAC Shows American Conservatism Is Rapidly Going Pro-Homosexual

  • To understand why it is wrong for the GOP and conservatives to honor the Log Cabin Republicans and their “gay”/transgender agenda, see this AFTAH video:

  • To read about how MassResistance was smeared by CPAC staffers attempting to rationalize banning this pro-family group from CPAC 2018, go here:

Note from Peter LaBarbera:

Dear AFTAH Readers,

Anyone who know me knows that I’m a Cause guy, and a Truth guy. And the “cause” which I humbly believe I am called to defend is God’s Truth about the sin of homosexuality and the insidious, “out-and-proud” LGBTQ movement that demands celebration of it. Now I am deeply saddened to report that American “conservatism” is going pro-homosexual at the expense of truth and wholesome morality. (Is Christianity next?)

Last week (Feb. 21-24), I attended the annual Conservative Political Action Conference CPAC. What I saw there and experienced in the lead-up to CPAC is that libertarians (or liberal-tarians, as my friend Ryan Sorba calls them) are moving ahead steadily in their attempt to re-define conservatism to condone homosexuality, including so-called “gay marriage.” They want to turn the Republican Party into a version of the pro-homosexual-“marriage” Conservative party in the U.K.  And they are moving RAPIDLY towards that goal.

As you can see from the recent AFTAH press release reprinted below, both AFTAH and MassResistance were prevented from having a simple, paid Exhibitor’s table at CPAC. Just a few years ago, CPAC faced criticism for inviting “gay” sponsors and speakers; now they are banning solid pro-family conservatives who dare to confront Big LGBTQ. Meanwhile, CPAC allowed the homosexual-transgender activist group Log Cabin Republicans to have an Exhibitor’s table at the popular conservative gathering.

As the pressure builds to downplay or ignore the “gay” issue, millions of conservatives like you and me who have usually voted Republican now face a choice: are we going to side publicly with God or cave in to morally-bankrupt libertarianism? Will YOU keep standing for the Truth about biblical sexual morality, or find a way to cop out of this critical battle?  Will you fight for the soul of the GOP?

At CPAC, the beautiful Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Maryland just outside the Beltway was teeming with young conservatives. I suddenly felt old as I saw in their vitality and idealism myself 30 or so years ago. In fact, I launched my “Lambda Report on Homosexuality” newsletter monitoring the “gay” agenda, the precursor of American For Truth, the with much zeal at CPAC 25 years ago.

But the great crisis today–something about which I fear most young conservatives are ignorant–is that their precious idealism has been corrupted by a capitulation to a worldly LGBTQ revolution, which is the most extreme branch of the larger, destructive Sexual Revolution. An LGBT Queer Revolution that says “gender” doesn’t matter, nor does it matter if a young man dates a woman or another man!  (“Love is love,” goes the inane slogan.)

Of course it matters.  It matters to God, who does not give a pass to Republican immorality just because it has an “R” attached to it.  It matters to His Son, Jesus Christ–who has turned around the lives of many men and women who, in their sin and deep confusion, thought it was their (inborn) destiny to be “gay,” or “trans.” [See AFTAH’s wonderful and compelling 2017 banquet videos featuring EX-“gay” Christian Stephen Black, founder of First Stone Ministries and a Board Member of Restored Hope Network.]

Truth always matters. So shame on CPAC for what it did to my good friend, Brian Camenker, president of MassResistance, who is a genuine hero for his many years of fighting, with indomitable fortitude and without compromise, against all efforts to mainstream perversion. If there were any justice in the “conservative’ movement, Brian would have been invited to give a seminar at CPAC on the lessons he has learned fighting the nefarious Sin Movement that calls itself “gay” (and now “transgender”).

But instead of being honored, and given an opportunity to pass on his wisdom to a new generation who desperately needs it, Camenker and MR were banned and then smeared by CPAC – the same CPAC that last year invited as speaker Milo Yiannopoulos, who joked on his “Dangerous Faggot” college speaking tour about preferring to be sodomized by black men. (CPAC dropped Milo after he defended sex between men and boys; Milo himself was the boy victim of a pederast priest.)

The reality is that even in Trump’s America, telling the truth about homosexualism and that “dirtiest” word of all–the M-word (Morality)–often earns you contempt, or derision, or hostile and puzzled responses even from family members and loved ones.  Nevertheless, before God, and with Him as our main and enduring Ally, we must persist and never apologize for defending God’s gift of sexuality in the HEALTHY bounds of marriage between a man and a woman:

[Jesus] answered, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female?” (Matthew 19:4 ESV)

In the end, it’s God’s Truth, not ours, so it’s not man’s to redefine.

In the scheme of things, the sad story that I witnessed firsthand of CPAC’s downward moral trajectory is the story of fallen man: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” (Proverbs 14:12 ESV)

Thank the Lord that we can rise above the culture and its politically correct lies by trusting in God and His Inerrant Word, the Bible, and using our liberty while we still have it to fight harder for that Truth than thousands of LGBTQ activists do for their evolving web of lies.  May God bless you richly as you stay strong in the fight!

Sincerely in Christ,

Peter LaBarbera

About Americans for Truth About Homosexuality and AFTAH Founder Peter LaBarbera

Peter LaBarbera, 55, is president of Americans For Truth about Homosexuality (AFTAH), a non-partisan, non-profit group dedicated to exposing the homosexual-bisexual-transgender activist agendas. Founded as a part-time venture in 1996 but reorganized in August 2006, AFTAH seeks to apply the same single-minded determination to opposing the radical homosexual agenda and standing for God-ordained sexuality and the natural family as countless homosexual groups do in promoting their harmful agenda.

AFTAH is a rare single-issue national group on the other side of this critical “culture war” issue. Meanwhile, there are over a dozen national American “gay” groups with annual budgets ranging from just under $1 million to over $30 million working to advance this agenda — which threatens to criminalize Christian opposition to behavior that most Americans believe is wrong.

LaBarbera and Americans For Truth are often accused by homosexual militants of being “obsessed” about homosexuality (and LaBarbera has been falsely accused of being a repressed homosexual more times than he can remember), but he points to the many LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) organizations that are well-financed and focused like a laser beam on normalizing homosexuality in the culture. READ THE REST

There is an urgent need for the public to become informed about the Global Islamic Jihad Movement. We must demand from our leaders that they become familiar with Islamic Law and jihadist ideology so that our counterterrorism policies can better protect us from this growing threat.

This blog is mainly a news aggregating site but also includes an extensive library of resources for studying Islam and networking with other Counter Jihad activists. My goal has been to pull from a variety of the most trusted and reliable sources to educate the public on the counter jihad movement. The many RSS feeds and counterjihad twitter feed in the sidebar are meant to provide a time saving jumping off point to access all the headlines and breaking news.

My Interest in Islamic Jihad stems from the 1983 Hezbollah truck bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in which my cousin, Ken Haas, was killed. Faux-Conservative Homosexual

Can one be a homosexual and a supporter of Conservative Values – which does include Biblical Values – simultaneously? Personally I cannot see the consistency in homosexual alternative lifestyles and Conservative Values.

“Conservative” homosexual Milo Yiannopoulos was disinvited from UC Berkeley for being a homosexual supporter of President Trump. It took idiotic brainwashed Leftist rioting students to get Yiannopoulos cancelled. Conservatives lined up in sympathy for Yiannopoulos.

If you have ever read any of my blog posts condemning homosexuality as a moral aberration before God, you can guess I was not one of those Conservatives pouring out sympathy for Yiannopoulos over the UC Berkeley crosshairs.

19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

(Romans 1: 19, 26-27 NKJV)

And now the reality of Yiannopoulos unnatural affection has been exposed to include a predilection for Man/Boy attraction. This predilection is still illegal despite America’s Leftist corruption of American culture and morality.

Call me crazy, but Man/Boy crazed Milo Yiannopoulos should not be accepted as an American Conservative. Not only is he a morally reprobate homosexual but he is a pederast as well.

Heavy.com has the transcript and video of Milo endorsing pederasty. Here is a quote from the transcript portion of Milo favoring pederasty:

Milo: “Yeah, I don’t mind admitting that. I think particularly in the gay world and outside the Catholic church, if that’s where some of you want to go with this, I think in the gay world, some of the most important, enriching and incredibly life affirming, important shaping relationships very often between younger boys and older men, they can be hugely positive experiences for those young boys. They can even save those young boys, from desolation, from suicide (people talk over each other) … providing they’re consensual.”

Here is the email alerting me of Milo Yiannopoulos talking about pederasty.

There is no such thing as a “gay conservative”

From America’s Survival, Inc. (ASI)

Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

There is a major meltdown in the conservative movement, stemming from its embrace of a commentator in favor of “cross-generational” sexual relationships involving “younger boys” and “older men.” Breitbart’s Milo Yiannopoulos, a Brit, claims to be against pedophilia.

Schlapp- Milo Confirmed CPAC Tweet 2-18-17

schlapp-milo-confirmed-cpac-tweet-2-18-17

The controversy has resulted in a big slap in the face to Matt Schlapp, the main organizer of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), who invited this “gay conservative” Milo Yiannopoulos to the annual conservative gathering.

Pete LaBarbera and I discussed this “gay conservative” and his disgusting behavior on our recent TV show, “Gays and Trannies for Trump.” He should never have been invited to CPAC, for there is no such thing as a “gay conservative.” Now Schlapp has disinvited Yiannopoulos because a recording of his comments in favor of man-boy sex has surfaced. A full transcript can be found here.

Here’s what he says:

“We get hung up on this sort of child abuse stuff to the point where we are heavily policing consensual adults … In the homosexual world, particularly, some of those relationships between younger boys and older men — the sort of ‘coming of age’ relationship — those relationships in which those older men help those young boys discover who they are and give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable, sort of rockwhere they can’t speak to their parents.”

He says, regarding pedophilia involving Catholic priests, “But you know what? I’m grateful for Father Michael. I wouldn’t give nearly such good ****if it wasn’t for him.”

Schlapp Rescinds Milo Invite

schlapp-rescinds-milo-invite

This is what happens when the conservative movement welcomes homosexuals into its ranks. Fox News has had Milo on Tucker Carlson’s show:

Milo on Tucker Carlson

Something like this has happened before. Read my column from 2010:

The Gay Infiltration of the Conservative Movement

CPAC has a black eye, but so does Breitbart and WND Books, which has just published a book on free speech on campus, No Campus for White Men, with an introduction from Yiannopoulos:

Milo Quote on ‘No Campus for White Men’

The book is written by Scott Greer of the Daily Caller.

‘No Campus for White Men’ by Scott Greer rating

FrontPageMag called him a “freedom fighter” and gave him an award:

Annie Taylor Award to Milo

annie-taylor-award-to-milo

His new book, titled, Dangerous, comes out in June and is published by Threshold Editions of Simon & Schuster.

Conservative groups and websites which endorsed Milo have only themselves to blame.

We deserve apologies from Matt Schlapp, Breitbart, WND, FrontPageMag, the Daily Caller, and others. What do you think?

Look for more fallout:

Washingtonian Magazine is reporting:

A senior editor at the right-wing publication [Breitbart] tells Washingtonian that “at least a half-dozen” employees are prepared to leave the company if Milo Yiannopoulos is not promptly fired. A second Breitbart source confirms this estimate. Yiannopoulos, himself a senior editor at Breitbart, was booted from his speaking slot at this week’s Conservative Political Action Convention (CPAC), following taped revelations in which he appears to endorse pedophilia.

At America’s Survival, we stand firm: there is no such thing as a “gay conservative.”

Sarah Palin Suggests How the US Should Deal With ISIS

Sarah Palin -2- CPAC 2-27-15

As much as Leftists, Mainstream Media, Establishment Republicans and even some relevant Conservatives want nothing to do with Sarah Palin, on a personal level I believe she is Presidential material. Her detractors insult her intelligence. Let me tell you something President Ronald Reagan endured the very same insults toward his intelligence. AND after never giving up on races for President, he eventually won two conservative terms as President of the United States of America. President Reagan (although Leftists hate it) has already gone down as one of the best Presidents in American history. Get over Palin’s detractors and realize this gal is a charismatic leader with a lot of electoral influence.

I didn’t hear much praise from Conservative circles on Palin’s CPAC 2015 speech. Thanks to Stephanie Hahn Nolan and her post to the Facebook group Sarah Palin’s EARTHQUAKE 2016 I found a summary and a Youtube video of her entire speech. The speech is highly critical of President Barack Hussein Obama’s handling of global Islamic Terrorism. She could have also included BHO’s idiocy in making an Iran deal allowing nuclear arms which definitely leads to an existential threat to Israel. (One reason Obama hated head of government Prime Minister Netanyahu giving a bicameral speech to Congress which undoubtedly exposes that Foreign Policy idiocy.)

Below is the NewsWire.net summary followed by the roughly 24 minute video that has Medal Honor winner Sergeant Dakota Meyer introducing Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin Suggests How the US Should Deal With ISIS

February 27, 2015

Sarah Palin said in a speech before Republican activists that there is a solution to the problem with ISIS. We just should kill them all “like Nazis.”

(Newswire.net — February 27, 2015)  — Former GOP VP nominee Sarah Palin blamed the Obama administration for the rise of ISIS in the Middle East. In an emotional speech about American war veterans, the former Alaska governor seized the opportunity to critique Obama’s administration.

In the speech in National Harbor, Maryland, Palin accused Obama of failing to destroy Islamic State militants and for the rise of the Islamic State in Iraq, because he pulled American troops out of the country.

“The rise of ISIS is the direct result of this administration’s refusal to heed that warning,” Palin said. “The Middle East is a tinderbox and it’s coming apart at the seams…as ISIS expands, it takes back land we just spilled blood to secure.

Palin blamed Obama for the casualties that died in vain in Iraq and in the Afghanistan because the situation in the Middle East is now worse than ever.

“Did we actually win in Iraq and Afghanistan before we waved that white flag? The jury is still out. But when evil Islamic terrorists are on the march screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ from Syria to Iraq to Libya and Yemen and the streets of Paris, well it doesn’t look like victory,” she added.

Palin criticized Obama’s conciliatory comments calling on him not to equate Islam with terrorism.

“Lecturing Christians to get off our high horse about radical Islam won’t stop the Islamists from killing Christians,” Palin said. “Stop blaming the victim and wake up, Mr. President. While Christians bow their heads to pray for you, radical Islamists want to cut off your head,” she said in a speech.

Referring to recent comments by State Department representative Marie Harf, who said that the US could not beat Islamists simply by killing them, Palin took completely opposite stand.

“They say we can’t kill our way out of war,” Palin said. “Really? Tell that to the Nazis. Oh wait, you can’t because they’re dead. We killed them,” she said.

Cruz, Paul and Palin CPAC 2014 Speeches

Palin, Rand & Cruz

John R. Houk

I listened to Senator Ted Cruz at CPAC via an email a few days ago. I THOUGHT I saved that email because it also had commentary text that I enjoyed as well. I was getting ready to construct a post of the CPAC speakers I was interested and to my dissatisfaction I somehow lost that email. So this is what I am going to do.

I found the Youtube versions to Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Sarah Palin. I am going to post Senator Cruz, Senator Paul and ending with Sarah Palin. In the Palin CPAC speech I going to include a WND article in which I originally viewed Sarah Palin’s CPAC appearance. The difficulty with WND is they use their own video format which most of my blogs do not accept; hence I am replacing the WND version with a Youtube version.

Enjoy!

PALIN: ‘THIS IS A GREAT AWAKENING’

By GARTH KANT

March 8, 2014

WorldNetDaily

VIDEO: Sarah Palin • CPAC • 2014 •

Published by iizthatiiz

Published: Mar 8, 2014

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. – “I have never been more optimistic about the future. The best is yet to come.”

Sarah Palin ended on that soaring high note, bringing the crowd to its feet for the umpteenth time in a speech that radiated with hope and an optimism that the dawn of a new era of conservatism is here.

The former U.S. vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor also offered her own version of hope and change, assuring conservatives, “This is the stirring of a great awakening. The age of Obama is almost over. The end of an ‘error.’ He is the lamest of lame ducks.”

As the closing speaker at CPAC, the annual convention of conservatives just outside of Washington, “Mama grizzly” delivered some political red meat to her adoring cubs, offering a dazzling array of one-liners.

She explained how a catchy slogan became an alarming reality as “Yes, we can” became “No, you can’t.”

“No, you can’t log onto the Obamacare website. No, you can’t keep your health care. No, you can’t make a phone call without being spied upon.” And without Michelle Obama learning that you ordered a pizza for a third time in a week.

Palin said President Obama’s foreign policy had been reduced to dialing real fast with his phone and threatening to poke Russian President Vladimir Putin with his pen.

“But, I’m probably being too hard on the president,” she said before delivering a line that brought the house down: “After all, who could have seen this coming?”

That was a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact she predicted in 2008, accurately, as it turned out, that Putin would feel free to invade Ukraine should Obama be elected, a statement that was widely ridiculed in the mainstream media.

She also observed that Obama’s policy of “leading from behind only leads to some very bad dudes gaining ground.”

When it came to the GOP’s so-called war on women, Palin claimed, on the contrary, Republicans “recognize the potential of every women so much that we’re the party that respects every sister, even the littlest ones in the womb.”

But Palin didn’t restrict her fire to Democrats; she also had some words of warning for Republican leaders.

“GOP beltway boys – you know the 2010 victory that swept the GOP into power – you didn’t build that, the tea party did it.”

She told the GOP elite if they want another sweep, “Grab a broom and join the party. There are not enough low-information voters to save the other side this time, if we don’t retreat.”

Palin’s immense optimism was laced with more warnings for Republicans.

“This is the stirring of a great awakening. I do feel the eyes of America are open. Unfortunately, some would want you to just hit the snooze button and roll back over. Like, ‘Hush America, go back to sleep little lamb, go back to sleep. Close those eyes.’ Some of these folks are in the GOP establishment.

She chided GOP leaders for thinking the smart thing was to “lay back, stay out of the way” while Obamacare crashed and the economy came to a stop.

“Some GOP experts say don’t interrupt the opposition while they are destroying themselves. But you do interrupt when they are destroying the country.”

The crowd wasn’t satisfied to give that line just a standing ovation. They broke out in a chant of “Run Sarah, Run.”

Palin delivered a stunning response: “I should run.”

But then, she deadpanned, “I didn’t get to run this morning,” changing the crowd’s cheers to sudden laughter.

Taking the attention away from herself, she said, “We’ve got good guys” in Washington, mentioning Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Mike Lee, R-Utah and Rand Paul, R-Ky, all of whom she endorsed when they were underdogs.

But, she said, “It’s time we send them reinforcements.”

She credited Cruz with igniting what she called a great awakening in America when he filibustered to try to defund Obamacare, an effort in which Lee and Paul provided strong support.

Palin said the Cruz filibuster “worked in waking people up to the folly of the government taking over a sixth of the economy.”

She said it “told his colleagues it was time – time to stand up. Time to use the tools of the Constitution, the power of the purse, to fulfill their campaign promises and to stop Obamacare.”

The mother of five also congratulated Cruz on his use of Dr. Seuss’s “Green Eggs and Ham” as a way to show he cared about the future of his own children and all the children in America.

Palin playfully offered her own, revised version of the story, that she said she now tells her son, Trig.

“I do not like this Uncle Sam,
I do not like his health care scam.
I do not like these dirty crooks
or how they lie and cook the books.
I do not like when Congress steals,
I do not like their crony deals.
I do not like this spying, man.
I do not like, ‘Oh, yes, we can.’
I do not like this spending spree,
we’re smart, we know nothing’s free.
I do not like reporters’ smug replies
when I complain about their lies.
I do not like this kind of hope
and we won’t take it, nope, nope, nope.”

A few days ago Tea Party journalist Scottie Hughes was critical of Sarah Palin after her CPAC speech as being a rousing speaker but lacking in Conservative work to get the ball moving on a Conservative agenda to offset America’s Leftists.

An Open Letter to Sarah Palin

You are beginning to worry me. I am afraid you are losing touch with the people of whom your fame is based. I, after all, was one of your biggest supporters once. I am thrilled that you get invitations to go to NBA games, that you display your Chick-fil-A shirt, and that you go and support your daughter and her celebrity friends on Dancing with the Stars.

But at CPAC last week you made a rush for the exits. After you gave an inspiring speech where you said to a thrilled audience, “At a time when our country is desperate for leadership, we get instead a permanent campaign”. Instead of coming out and shaking the hands of those who you inspire, you quickly left the building without even a second glance.

You called out the liberal media as being unashamed, so at least you took notice of them. Not so for those of us on the right who had hoped that the woman from Wasilla, Alaska might understand our plight and give us a chance to engage one of the top names in the movement.

We were, to put it bluntly, disappointed. And while I wish this was a solo occurrence, unfortunately this seems to be your pattern.

I know we in the Tea Party movement don’t throw the best parties or live the most glamorous lives, but we are the ones who faithfully donated to the McCain campaign once you joined the ticket. We are the ones who defended you publicly when the liberal media made fun of you and when your own campaign advisors turned on you. We are the ones who add you and your family to our prayers every night at bedtime.

Yet it seems those in Hollywood who have made their money making you the butt of their jokes get more of your attention than the movement you helped inspire.

As a working mother in political journalism, I always looked to your journey as a source of inspiration. It was a testament to the fact that a woman can use her professional talents and not let her family suffer. The other side wants to make female conservatives feel like we are put in binders and READ THE REST

Has Hughes been looking at the same Sarah Palin I have been look at? Palin has gone to Tea Party rallies and campaign stumped for Conservative pro-Tea Party plenty! My only disappoint with Sarah Palin was her decision to not run for the Office of President. I have no doubt that decision was based on the negative attacks by Establishment Republicans. The most notable of those Establishment Republicans was (and is) Karl Rove.

Let’s face it. Although the electorate power base of the Republican Party are Conservatives and of those on the Right it is the grassroots oriented Tea Partiers. BUT those who pull the finance strings in the Republican Party is the GOP’s version of Pharisees that favor a more Liberal Social Conservatism and leans toward Crony Capitalism rather than little guy entrepreneurship.

Sarah Palin was run out of the Governorship of Alaska because State Dems and Crony Capitalist Republicans constantly were inventing ethics violations to the absurd to prevent Palin from performing her Executive duties as Governor. I believe it is a good guess that she saw the Alaskan subservience to Establishment Republicans would be amplified against on a national basis with the Leftist Palin-hating Mainstream Media propagandizing against her message by obfuscating the honor of her personal life.

Instead of a fractured Tea Party splitting the Tea Party with hurt feelings for not getting the personal attention a prominent Tea Partier feels she deserves, it is no reason to make unsubstantiated complaints as if it was Left Wing propaganda.

RATHER prominent Tea Party leadership needs to unite and find a candidate like Sarah Palin that has a national message of American Exceptionalism, Constitutional Patriotism and Judeo-Christian Morality and stand up against Dems and Establishment Republicans as well as against the activism of the MSM Left.

So what if such a stand is not politically correct! In today’s world who defines political correctness? It is Leftists and RINOs. It is time to change the definers of political correctness.

Today it is politically incorrect to think outside of the Two-Party to replace one of the two prominent political parties. As the Republicans replaced the Whigs in the 1850s to eventually elect Abraham Lincoln in 1860, it is time for the Tea Party Movement to coalesce and find a political name representative of Conservative Tea Partiers.

In the 1850s the Abolitionist Movement was considered a fringe grassroots movement. The Dems, MSM and Establishment Republicans consider the Tea Party to be a fringe grassroots movement that will play itself out. Establishment Republicans envision the Conservative Tea Party base will catapult the GOP back into driver’s seat of both Houses in Congress. In that envisionment Establishment Republicans intend to minimize Tea Party to stop the Leftist fringe of the Dems and bring a middle road political agenda that benefits the Center-Left socially and the Crony Capitalist corporate big business elites on the Center-Right.

Just because Center-Left and Center-Right sounds like a moderate path it does not mean a beneficent path for American culture.

The Leftist end of the scale is godless in values and humanistic in a moral foundation for the rule of law. The far Right end of the scale exploits religion for personal ideological gain and is oppressive to be beneficent to the corporate elite; i.e. Crony Capitalism on the backs of citizens squashing the entrepreneurial spirit of the average American to carve out a self-sustaining niche in life.

The only path that will to make America good is the godly path in which a moral foundation is the platform for the rule of law in which the little guy gets a few shake in the midst of Crony Capitalist elites concerned with the profit margin for the Board of Directors or for the Shareholders.

Government by and for the people is not a top to bottom manifesto for yeomen Americans rather the people represent the rule of law that protects the rights of the unentitled (and I am not talking about government entitled but rather the wealthy entitled as the opposite of the unentitled).

Real justice for all is godly morality not some Leftist ideological definition of justice that robs the yeoman American of the entrepreneurial opportunity to self-sustaining wealth via hard work and good decision making. Leftist justice will keep yeoman Americans enslaved to a life leashed to whatever government agenda is defined as good for Americans even if it robs of Liberty, a godly life and the pursuit of happiness. I call the Leftist ‘good’ evil.

The few Sarah Palins left in America need to be rallied around and not used in political divisiveness.

Tea Party News Network Director Falsely Smears Palin

By Tony Lee

25 Mar 2013

Breitbart Big Government

In a bizarre rant–or “open letter”–at Townhall, Scottie Hughes, the news director for the Tea Party News Network, falsely accuses former Alaska Governor and Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin of rushing out of this year’s CPAC and having a pattern of ignoring grassroots conservatives.

Palin Iowa

While Hughes’s motivation for writing such a column may only be known to her, her accusations are demonstrably false.

Doug McMarlin, who has been with Palin since 2008 and was with her at this year’s CPAC, was also perplexed by Hughes’s characterization of the event. Palin met with volunteers, supporters and CPAC leadership at this year’s event. Palin keynoted last year’s CPAC and was the conference’s last speaker, which allowed for her to mix with the audience following her speech.

This year, her slot fell on a Saturday afternoon, which meant there were scheduled speakers immediately after her remarks. It would not have been logistically possible for Palin to even greet the crowd or do talk radio hits from CPAC without causing a huge disturbance due to the crowds that would have swarmed her and disrupted the conference.

“Never underestimate the level the uninformed with a keyboard will go to make a point based on a lack of information,” McMarlin told Breitbart News. “Lamestream, mainstream, and no stream media, it’s unfortunate when those who lack facts lash out without regard. Governor Palin, as always, was with volunteers, supporters and fellow conservatives throughout her days at CPAC.”

Hughes also implied that Palin only speaks to the grassroots through the teleprompter, but this accusation again does not even pass the smell test.

Jason Recher, a Palin staffer who has been with Palin at nearly every event since 2008, told Breitbart News Palin never asks for a teleprompter. In fact, reporters have often said Palin improvises during her speeches, which forces reporters to pay attention to every word in order to quote her accurately.

“I’ve been at almost every speech she’s given since ’08 and can’t think of a time where she ever asked to use a Teleprompter,” Recher told Breitbart News. The teleprompters at CPAC were part of the stage set up used for all the speakers; it was not something Palin personally requested.

Hughes, with no evidence whatsoever, alleges Palin made a “rush to the exits” at this year’s CPAC, implying Palin did not have time for the grassroots.

Again, not true.

As the photos below indicate, Palin spent time after the speech meeting with volunteers.

In addition, Rebecca Mansour, a Palin staffer, told Breitbart News that Palin had to catch a flight immediately after her speech. “She is a very busy working mom with many family and work obligations, including raising a son with Down syndrome who has scheduled therapies,” Mansour said.

Finally, in what may be her most misguided and out-of-touch statement that reveals her ignorance, Hughes refers to Palin’s “pattern of this behavior.”

What “pattern” is Hughes referencing?

The hours that Palin spent with nearly everyone who wanted to speak to her after she keynoted CPAC in 2012, as can be seen in C-SPAN’s coverage of the event?

The hours Palin spent in the lobby at CPAC in 2012 talking to bloggers and attendees, including Townhall’s own Katie Pavlich? Hughes penned her column at Townhall, so it is worth noting that Palin spoke to that outlet at CPAC in 2012.

Is Hughes referencing the time Palin spent with those who came to Iowa–in inclement weather–to listen to Palin denounce crony capitalism and the permanent political class in 2011? At the end of C-SPAN’s coverage of the event, it is clear Palin is energized by grassroots conservatives, and they love her because she genuinely is one of them.

Was Hughes referring to Palin visiting grassroots Tea Partiers at the Machine Shed restaurant in Iowa in 2011, comfortably mingling with nearly everyone in attendance?

Was she referencing Palin’s appearance at the Iowa State Fair in 2011, where she talked to nearly every Iowan who approached her for nearly six hours? Where she won the respect of liberals and even mainstream media reporters who did not think highly of her for genuinely liking “common” people most politicians do not feel comfortable around?

If Hughes is really a part of the grassroots and not a part of an astroturf movement, she could have gone to any of these events–like thousands of grassroots Tea Partiers–and spoken to Palin. Instead, she sounds like mainstream media members who lash out at Palin solely because Palin does not speak to them whenever they wish.

At these events, mainstream media reporters and liberals who did not even like Palin conceded how gracious and how accessible she is and how she thrives around the normal people Hughes purportedly claims to represent. Having written about Palin for nearly four years and having spoken to people who have been at nearly every event Palin has attended during this period, I have consistently heard people comment about how accessible–and down to earth–Palin is after all of her speeches and events, which is especially noteworthy given Palin’s white-hot star power.

It is unclear if Hughes wants Palin to spend time with her or her organization, but grassroots Tea Partiers who truly care more about fighting for the country instead of using the Tea Party to advance whatever agenda suits their interests never ask Palin for anything except to hold politicians and the permanent political class on the left and right to account, which Palin has relentlessly done.

And while Hughes implies Palin does not pay attention to new media, it is worth noting that after Palin turned down Fox News’ offer to renew her contract earlier this year, the first interview Palin gave was to Breitbart News–a new media outlet.

While Hughes, to date, has not seemed like someone who would proverbially come to Washington claiming to change it and instead see the D.C. cesspool as a jacuzzi, her column reads like it was written by someone desperate to become a part of the permanent political class. Her comments are cribbed from remarks the elite Washington, D.C. Republicans and liberals she purportedly is against so often make to denigrate Palin because they, in their minds, think Palin somehow spurned them. They criticize Palin to get pageviews and ratings and to make a name for themselves so they can try to get 1/1000 of her star power and influence.

They desperately crave to get 1/1000 of the bookings Palin most often has to turn down on a daily basis.

They wish their children could have the opportunities to influence pop culture–and would take that chance and go toward the glistening Hollywood spotlight faster than a moth to a flame–all the while acting as if they despise the Hollywood elite while secretly craving their affirmation and wanting all of the glitz and glamour associated with them.

They want to use the Tea Party movement to become stars or cash out instead of fighting to elect candidates like Ted Cruz to the Senate. At CPAC, Cruz said he would not be in the Senate without Palin. Nobody mentioned Hughes, and she most likely will not have politicians knocking on her door to ask for her endorsement.

Hughes needs to be careful, for more columns like this will make people think Hughes may be projecting or falsely seeing in Palin what she may see in herself. Columns that smear a politician like Palin who has held both parties to account in the true spirit of the Tea Party movement will begin to “worry” conservatives and Tea Partiers. They may begin to wonder what Hughes’s intentions are for being in the Tea Party movement and whether Scottie Hughes puts herself before her country and the principles for which she purportedly fights.

Looking at Palin’s CPAC 2013 Speech

Sarah Palin - Big Gulp - CPAC 2013

We deserve better than the people who call themselves our leaders. But we won’t get it unless we’re ready to fight, and this is one fight that is worth it.”

Sarah Palin speech at CPAC on March 16, 2013 as derived from the last paragraph of the post “Sarah Palin’s Defiance” by Douglas Gibbs.

America needs more people like Sarah Palin to show the Republican Party to forget its Establishment and embrace Conservatives or get out of the way for a NEW American political party that is willing to embrace Conservatism and be a light on the hill shining that which has made America good rather than the propagandized indoctrinating message of America’s Left which desires to transform America to a vision that eradicates the U.S. Constitution and the morals of the Judeo-Christian faith in favor of politically correct moral relativism.

I realize 2016 is a long ways away; nonetheless this is the kind of person or one like Palin that needs to be the next President of the United States of America!

Sarah Palin CPAC Speech 3-16-13 Transcript Video: Karl Rove Go Back to Texas Put Your Name on a Ballot

March 16, 2013 19:09

Before It’s News

Senator Ted Cruz, the Keynote Speakers, introduced Sarah Palin, who was one of the first big names to come out enthusiastically for him. Due to time constraints I’ve left the intro out, but you can see it in the video below. Toward the end of the transcript and video, Palin referrs (sic) to the “Architect” who is Republican strategist and moneyman who long ago decided he would be the decider of who candidiates (sic) would and would not be. Sarah suggest that if he knows so much and is worthy his millions, he should go on back to the Lone Star state and put (h)is name on a ballot. Sarah (b)egins with words of praise for Ted Cruz and says “Ted Cruz, he comes to town, he chews up barbed wire. He spits out rust.”

Sarah_Palin_Not_Here_to_Rebrand_Here_to_Rebuild_1

Begin Sarah Palin speech

…one reason I like Texans. They don’t mess around with our Second Amendment rights. All this stuff coming lately from the White House to take away the good guys’ freedom, and, the right to protect ourselves with the most naive notion that the bad guys, who ignore the laws, that all of a sudden they’re going to follow some new laws. It’s not about the bad guys. No , it’s all about the lead, like solely – that chunk of metal didn’t commit the crime. That’s like saying solely, that fork made me fat.

And background checks, yeah, I guess to learn more about the person’s thinking and associations and intentions. More background checks? Dandy idea Mr. President – should have started with yours. [audience going wild]

Well, it’s great to be back at CPAC. I’m so happy to be here and it feels like it’s coming home even though it is only my second time here, but I kinda feel like I’m getting the hang of it already, I can spot those Liberal media folk here to write their annual Conservatives in Crisis story. How many of you guys are here? Raise your hands…come on, raise your hands. Be proud. You’re loud. We’re used to it. Certainly you’re not ashamed to…raise it high. Don’t worry. We wouldn’t dream of making you wait outside on the party bus.

It is an honor to be here. We can come together folks for an adult conversation about the future of our country and heaven knows, we need this. So much of what passes for our national conversation is anything but.

Remember ‘No Drama Obama?’ If only. Now it(‘s) All Drama Obama. We don’t have leadership coming out of Washington. We have reality television. It’s really bad reality TV and the American people tuned-out a long time ago. Entertainment TV is a good description of what is going on in DC because more than ever it feels like a put-on. Every event feels calculated to fool us somehow. Every speech feels like a con. Washington politicians, too many in both parties, have a bad habit of focusing on the process of politics instead of the purpose of politics, which is to lead and to serve. Even our guys in the GOP too often have a habit of reading their stage directions, especially these days. They are being too scripted, too calculated. They talk about rebuilding the party. How about rebuilding the Middle Class? They talk about rebranding the GOP instead of restoring the trust of the American people.

Now we can’t just ignore though, that…we just lost a big election. We came in second out of two. Second position on the dogsled team is where the view never changes and the view ain’t pretty.

We need to figure out then, our job. What will we do  next? As we go about that, as we talk to one another, and listen to what the speaker’s have to say, let’s be clear about one thing, we’re not here to rebrand a party, we’re here to rebuild a country.

We’re not here to dedicate ourselves to new talking points coming from Washington, D.C. We’re not here to put a fresh coat of rhetorical paint on our party. We are not here to abandon our principles in a contest of government give-aways. That’s a game we will never, ever win. We are here to restore American and the rest is just theatrics, the rest is just sound and fury. It’s just making noise, and that sums up the job President Obama does today.

Now, he’s considered a good politician, which is like saying Bernie Madoff was a good salesman, the difference being the President is using our money.

You know I spend most of my time in heartland country, the heart of the heart of America and I have news for the permanent political class in Washington. While they’re busy worrying about their own political future, things are bad out here. Nearly 8% unemployment rate. It doesn’t begin to capture how bad things are. Even in the dismal rates announced of  .1% economic growth, that doesn’t tell the story of the pain that Americans feel.

Our president fancies himself as the champion of the Middle Class, yet since he came on scene, even those lucky enough to have a job, they’re working more for less. The median income for families has dropped over $5,000.00 since ’07, even as we work longer and longer hours. And job creators are being punished. Tell me how does punishing the job creators, create more jobs?

It cost nearly 100 bucks now to fuel up your truck. It costs tens of thousands of dollars to send your child to college. Man, the cost of a case of diapers today…these prices…the cost, the impacts on the American family budget, and the Middle Class Americans, while we’re breaking their budget, the Democrat-controlled Senate refuses to pass a budget. That was how many years ago that  they did? How many Trillions-in-debt-ago? All in violation of Article I Section 9, Clause 7 of our U.S. Constitution. No budget for 4 years. No budget for 4 years is not just bureaucratic bungling. Refusing to pass a budget is refusing to declare what it intends to do with the people’s money.

Barack Obama promised the most transparent administration ever. Barack Obama, you lied.

There is a direct correlation between the Senate stubbornly refusing to pass a budget, and the Senate selfishlessly (sic – should be ‘selfishly’ according video speech) agreeing to go ahead and spend our children and our children’s money. No budget is no leadership. It is time for America to get more outraged about this. Never before have our challenges been so big and our leaders so small.

Now when we were here last year, the words on everyone’s lips and the wish in your heart was for Barack to pack-her up and bubble wrap the Nobel and the clubs and the high-tops and head on back to Chicago.

Well, the election came and went  but the campaign never stopped, at a time when our country is desperate for leadership, we get instead a permanent campaign, but here’s the thing, leaders take risks for the good of our country. Campaigners make promises they can’t keep. Leaders reach across political differences. Campaigners double-down on those differences. Leaders seek to bring Americans together to confront our challenges and campaigners seek to divide and to conquer and to create crisis after crisis after crisis, to exploit.

Mr President we admit it, you won. Accept it. Now step away from the teleprompter and do your job.

The permanent political class is in permanent political mode so where do we go from here? One of my idols, Lady Margaret Thatcher, she offered this advice after her party lost at the poll. She told fellow conservatives not to get lost in abstract debates and green-eye-shade accounting. Mrs. Thatcher advised conservatives to focus their concerns first and foremost on the people. She said, look at every problem from the grassroots, not from the top down. She also cautioned Conservatives not to go wobbly on their beliefs, to which I offer a hearty Amen Sistah! We can use a leader like Maggie Thatcher today.

But just think about it at a time when Washington is so powerful that seven of the ten highest income counties in the country ring the city, allow yourself to imagine leadership that deems to understand us little people, us clinging to our God, our Guns our Constitution and our grassroots – imagine leadership that actually takes seriously the idea of government of the people, by the people, for the people, and then imagine leadership that knows how to prioritize to ensure national security and to stop goverrnment (sic) waste. That’s leadership that would have as it’s guiding light, it’s great North Star, our U.S. Constitution.

Friends, it’s no accident that it’s opening words are We the People, and while you are dreaming, imagine leadership that respects the Second Amendment to the Constitution. The majority of Americans want this.

Is there any wonder there was such a run on guns and ammo for Christmas presents, considering the attack on the Second Amendment? A couple of months ago – oh you should have seen what Todd got me for Christmas. Well, it wasn’t that exciting. It’s a metal rack, a case for hunting rifles to put on the back of a Four-Wheeler, then though, I had to get something for him to put in the gun case, right? So this go-round, he got the rifle, I got the rack. (big applause and she pulls out her Big Gulp and takes a sip till the crowd calms down.)

Oh Bloomberg’s not around. Our Big Gulp’s okay. Shoot it’s just pop with low-cal ice cubes in it. I hope that’s okay. What did you think was in it? Yeah, you Young Republicans, especially you who went Greek – I am so proud of you guys, all of you. College Republicans, there on campus. You are so bold, in your…well [crowd screaming]. All right. You guys keep your courage up, and my only piece of advice, because I’m a Mom, to our young College Republicans is, ya gotta be thinking Sam Adams, not drinking Sam Adams. and that’s just a joke. I don’t want to hear from the CEO of some brewery accusing me of being anti-beer. It was joke. You guys just keep up your good work.

Seriously though, when we do see harm. When we see life snuffed out through violent, evil acts, imagine leadership that doesn’t seek to exploit the tragedy. Imagine leadership that seeks real solutions to the violence, not cheap political games. That would be leadership worthy of its name. That would be leadership worthy of those words “We the People.” Creating government of, by, for the people. It also means ending the poisonous practice of  treating Americans of different social, ethnic, religious groups as different electorates to be pandered to with different promises. If we truly believe the words of our other founding document, The Declaration of Independence, that yes all men are created equal, then there are no Hispanic issues or African American issues or women’s issues. There are only American issues.

Now CPAC in order to be effective, in order to have any power to change things for the better, as Conservatives, we must leave no American behind and we must share our powerful message of freedom and liberty to all citizens, even those who may disagree on some issues because there is solid common ground in fighting against government overreach and for independence. And those who may disagree with us on some issues, they are not our enemies. They’re our sisters and our brothers. They’re our neighbors. They’re our friends. It’s imperative to reach out and to share that conservative message of liberty and less government and lower taxes and individual responsibility.

It’s time we all stopped preaching to the choir and let’s grow. America already has one party that’s expert at pitting groups against one another. We’ll never win a contest of identity politics. We shouldn’t even try. If ‘Believe in America’ is more than just a catchy campaign slogan, then we have to believe in America’s exceptionalism, and her greatest achievement that no one is guaranteed success but everyone is guaranteed an equal opportunity at success.

The greatest lie that the government tells is that government is the way to realize this guarantee. There is a simple reason why Washington, DC is an island of prosperity in a nation mired in near recession. Whenever government expands, it’s the well-connected that reap the benefit. The more government intrudes into our lives and businesses, the more it picks winners and losers. The more crony capitalists win, the more the rest of us lose. Whether it’s green energy or free Obama phones or prophylactics, if you don’t have a team of lobbyists in DC or a cancelled contribution check, you’re not at the table – you’re on the menu.

If Mrs. Thatcher were with us here today, she would remind us, there’s a big difference between being pro-business and being pro-free market. On this there can be no mistaking where free market stands. It’s time for We the People to break up the cronyism and put a stake through the heart of too big to fail once and for all.

That includes in these resource rich states like Alaska, my home state. Read your Constitution Alaskans. Realize that the natural resources that God has created for mankind’s use, are not owned by the big multi-national conglomerates and the monopolies. They’re owned by The People. They don’t own them, so don’t let them own you. You have a right for those resources to be developed for our use.

Ending the top-down approach of DC also means changing our top-down political process. The next election is 20-months away. Now is the time to furlough the consultants, and tune-out the pollsters, send the focus groups home and throw out the political scripts, because if we truly know what we believe, we don’t need professionals to tell us.

And if we truly seek to know the hearts and minds of the people, there is no substitute for going out and asking them – being one of them with real world experience, actual conversations with actual hard-working Americans, and that goes for finding candidates as well. Creating a government by, for the people. It means looking toward our communities, our PTAs, our service clubs, small businesses, Tea Party rallies and City Halls – for people who are willing to lead. Do you know someone who’s judgement (sic) you trust, someone who doesn’t just preach common sense, but who actually lives it? Well, encourage her or him to run for office.

Are you mad as hell and think you have a better way? Then run yourself. Don’t let the big consultants, the big money men and the big bad media scare you off. Don’t let them invalidate you when you no doubt have more real world, practical experience with family and real work. That’s real life, than those in the political bubble who try to tell you who’s worthy, who just doesn’t fit their bill. The last thing we need is Washington DC vetting our candidates.

If these experts who keep losing elections and keep getting rehired and getting millions , if they feel that strong about who gets to run in this party, then they should buck-up or stay in the truck. Buck up or run. The Architect  [Karl Rove] can head on back to the great Lone Star State and put their name on some ballot – though for their sakes, I hope they give themselves a discount on their consulting services.

Friends you have heard a lot of different voices, offering a lot of different ideas the past few days. I am just humbled. I am just so grateful to be just one of them. I have been so blessed to spend so much of these past years getting to know even more of America, not from the top down, but from the heart looking out, and this I know, there is more wisdom, more character, more grit and common sense in the soldiers and the Mom’s and the teacher’s and the laborers and the firemen and the fishermen and the students and the cowboys – and other extraordinary Americans that I’ve met along the way, than will ever be found in the cocktail parties of power across the river, and …

…if We the People have one message to send to Washington, I’m sure it would be this: Get Over Yourself. It’s not about you.

******

I’m leaving it there. There are two minutes remaining if you want to tune in the video below. Thanks for The Right Scoop for the video and the poster.

CPAC is huge with rallying Conservative Republicans with a platform to disseminate Conservative concepts. Thus candidates for Office up to and including the Office of President of the United States often make appearances to gauge support.

The next CPAC meeting is in February 2011. The 2011 CPAC meeting has become controversial among Social Conservatives because the homosexual group GOProud. Many Conservative Pro-Family groups that usually attend CPAC are wavering about attendance due to the presence of the homosexual GOProud.

Personally I concur with Pro-Family groups that GOProud should not be at CPAC. GOProud should go to a Libertarian convention where fiscal Conservatives and Social Liberals can walk hand in hand.

While many Pro-Family groups are deciding whether or not to attend CPAC, The American Principle Project has announced it will not be attending CPAC as long as GOProud is a part of the conference. I heartily say, “AMEN” to the American Principle Project.
