Bill O’Reilly: My Firing Was ‘a Hit’ by the Far Left

Newsmax has chastised me in the past for cross posting whole articles from their website; ergo I have avoided the practice. I received a Newsmax email in which the text was posted in entirety rather than a link. I am taking the email as permission to post.

The Newsmax email is an update on Bill O’Reilly’s intentions after being discharged from Fox News including the info that the situation was due to a Leftist conspiracy to get him fired. O’Reilly cites George Soros as the Left-Wing puppeteer pulling the Leftist strings.

Bill O’Reilly: My Firing Was ‘a Hit’ by the Far Left

Newsmax Email

Sent 5/12/2017 3:32 PM

Bill O’Reilly broke his silence Friday in his first interview since being fired by Fox News, saying his dismissal was “a hit” caused by the “destroying voices” of the “far left.”

“This was a hit and in the weeks to come we’re going to be able to explain some of it,” O’Reilly told “The Glenn Beck Radio Program.”

Last month, Fox News parted ways with O’Reilly after a series of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior claims leveled against him in recent years. The New York Times had reported that five women received large payments in exchange for not pursuing litigation or speaking about the accusations.

Important: Author Says Bill O’Reilly ‘Murdered in Cold Blood,’ Trump Is Next – More Below! [This was supposed to be a link to David Horowitz’s book, “Big Agenda”. Here is the text that leads to the Horowitz book. The text is lengthier in the Newsmax email.]

O’Reilly said Fox was pressured by left-wing activists who came in and threatened sponsors unless they stopped running commercials on the highly-rated “O’Reilly Factor.”

He said he and his legal team would soon be naming names of those they believe are behind a plot to get him fired. But he named liberal billionaire businessman George Soros as one of the chief funders against conservative opinion.

“There’s going to be an exposition soon but I can’t tell you when … I was target No. 1, it’s sad for me, it’s sad for my family … From now on, when I ‘m attacked I’m going to take action, mostly legal action,” he said.

O’Reilly said he was returning to the United States from a trip to Rome and the Vatican when he learned he had been dismissed by the Fox News Channel.

“My attorneys told me and we were all shocked … I had 20 good years at FNC. We were caught by surprise, but it’s [Fox’s] prerogative,” he told Beck.

“People know that the left-wing media hates Fox and hates me … but they don’t know the extent of it… We’re accumulating information and someday it will all be clear.”

O’Reilly also attacked the press, saying some media outlets are as “evil as it gets.” He chastized Beck for believing news reports that he had received a $25 million kiss-off from Fox.

“In American journalism right now, very few are seeking the truth. What they do … is come up with this scenario and try to reinforce that,” he said.

Asked about this week’s firing of FBI Director James Comey, O’Reilly said there were several reasons President Donald Trump had acted.

“Trump does not trust James Comey … He doesn’t like the fact that Comey is unpredictable [and] … that Comey would not aggressively investigate the leaks that have plagued the Trump administration,” O’Reilly said.

But he also criticized the White House for being too “undisciplined” in its day-to-day management.

“The Trump administration always makes mistakes by being undisciplined … The messaging is always the problem … [White House Press Secretary Sean] Spicer’s just weak,” O’Reilly said.

He said the “straight press, the journalists, the hard news reporters, they now are devoting most of their time to destroying Donald Trump.”

“They hate him, by extension anybody who gives Trump a fair play, anybody, is going to be attacked as well … There’s this monolithic and very powerful industry that’s developed to get Trump out of office,” O’Reilly said.

“On the left you get, ‘We’re going to take him out.’ … That’s what the New York Times wants to do … This dishonesty in the media is harming this country.”

BREAKING Hannity, Lahren And O’Reilly Back With New Network…

On April 30, 2017 I posted some interesting speculation about the potential creation of a Conservative news network to rival Fox News or even replace the network that is appearing to move Left like the rest of MSM.

I ran into a video made by the Youtube Channel calling itself The Hill Gossip. This video reprises much of the speculation on my post “New Conservative News Network?” Yet since my post, the last Conservative authority figure at Fox News was forced out – Bill Shine.

This means Rupert Murdoch’s Leftist sons – James and Lachlan – appear to have control of the path Fox News will take. This even leads greater credibility that a new Conservative network might be formed, nay Conservative leader, MUST BE formed.

Below is the video I discovered and it description.

On the heels of major shakeups at the Fox News Network, an alternative conservative network is being actively discussed amongst conservative fat cats.

A well-placed source close to the proposal tells Mediaite that serious discussions are underway to create an alternative conservative cable network on the belief that the Fox News Network is moving too far to the left. The source, who is engaged in the talks, says a meeting is planned for today with two prominent high-powered television executives, some underperforming conservative networks and people who have an interest and the ability to fund a new network.

The potential aim? Putting “the old band” back together. There are certainly plenty of (out-of-work?) conservative powerhouses to pick from that could star on a new network, and perhaps even some executives from within Fox News who might be lured by the new opportunity. Could the new channel include stars like the ousted Bill O’Reilly, who didn’t waste much time hitting the podcast waves after he was fired amid a sexual harassment scandal? Could Tomi Lahren, the conservative mega star, who was recently sidelined at The Blaze also take on a prominent role? The exact “who” won’t be clear until the deal is more defined but the source says the pitch is that the network could immediately reach at least 85 million homes.

This news comes on the heels of a long profile in last weekend’s New York Times which paints a picture of a changing Fox News Network with Murdoch’s sons, James and Lachlan, CEO and co-chairman of parent company 21st Century Fox, at the helm. The piece struck fear into the minds of some Fox News’ hardcore conservatives with talk of the sons wanting to rid the company “of the old-guard culture on which their father built his empire” and bringing “a warmer and fuzzier workplace” that would move away from an “anti-politically correct environment.”

On Thursday, New York Magazine’s Gabe Sherman, a constant thorn in the side of Fox News, reported that “sweeping management changes” may be coming to the network as well. Sherman’s report cited three anonymous sources that contend that the network’s co-President Bill Shine recently asked the Murdoch sons to release a statement in support of him amid the roiling lawsuits and scandals. Both Fox News and 21 Century Fox have vigorously denied that Shine made such a request but the report by Sherman prompted a rather mysterious tweet about the “total end of the FNC as we know it” by the network’s biggest remaining star [READ THE REST at Breaking News24]

New Conservative News Network?

Yesterday I posted my concerns that Fox News was moving leftward on the political spectrum. Today I discovered that typically Left oriented Mediaite broke the story that Conservative media moguls are mulling over the idea of beginning an alternative Conservative News Network due to the Murdoch boys primping Fox toward the Left.

Then in trying some confirmation to Mediaite I ran into a Freedom Outpost article claiming there is ample proof that Bill O’Reilly’s termination from Fox News was a smear campaign from uber-Left media outlet Media Matters:

Liberals everywhere are rejoicing at the latest news that their TV boogeyman, Bill O’Reilly has been forced out of Fox News, his longtime home, for alleged sexual harassment. Those on the left shouldn’t be too quick to cheer however; the only reason these allegations are surfacing is because of a targeted smear campaign by politically-linked parties, further jeopardizing the independence of the media. Or perhaps they just don’t care?

… Right Wing News shows the evidence that the George Soros-funded group Media Matters was behind the smear campaign against O’Reilly. The smoking gun was an email from the Bonner Group, a leftist fundraising Super PAC for Hillary Clinton, which openly thanked Media Matters for the exposé. Whether O’Reilly is guilty or not, this is further proof of the tactics the globalists will resort to in order to silence dissenting media opinions. Who’s next on their list?

Are Fox News execs about to hand over the scalp of their ratings king to the smear group Media Matters? (UPDATE: Yes.)

On Wednesday, talk radio host Glenn Beck tweeted an email from the Bonner Group, a leftist fundraising firm that works for Media Matters.

The April 13 email is an invitation to join a briefing call on Media Matters’ campaign against the network’s biggest star.

If I didn’t receive email alerts from Liberty Headlines, I would never have heard (at least at this point) that an alternative Conservative News network might be in the future. The Independent Sentinel uses Mediaite as a source, but does add this:

Axios claims he’s one of the people meeting with “high-powered television executives and potential funders” to talk about a new network.

Roger Ailes is said to be involved in the talks.

The “pitch is that the network could immediately reach at least 85 million homes,” Mediaite writes.

There are certainly plenty of conservative powerhouses – some out of work – to pick from that could star on a new network. They might even be able to lure some executives away. EXCLUSIVE: Advanced Talks Underway For New Conservative Network Amid Fears Fox News Moving Too Far Left

Mediaite

On Thursday, New York Magazine‘s Gabe Sherman, a constant thorn in the side of Fox News, reported that “sweeping management changes” may be coming to the network as well. Sherman’s report cited three anonymous sources that contend that the network’s co-President Bill Shine recently asked the Murdoch sons to release a statement in support of him amid the roiling lawsuits and scandals. Both Fox News and 21 Century Fox have vigorously denied that Shine made such a request but the report by Sherman prompted a rather mysterious tweet about the “total end of the FNC as we know it” by the network’s biggest remaining star, Sean Hannity:

Sean Hannity

@seanhannity

Gäbe i pray this is NOT true because if it is, that’s the total end of the FNC as we know it. Done. Best Sean https://twitter.com/gabrielsherman/status/857604245197119488

3:31 PM – 27 Apr 2017

“I just don’t see Fox News and Sean having a long relationship. If Sean becomes available, you have 100 percent turnover in primetime and a huge opportunity,” a television executive, who didn’t want to be identified, but is involved in some of the talks, told Mediaite.

“I’m working on it (the new conservative channel) hot and heavy,” the source said. “It’s live, it’s real.” The new channel could come to fruition within the next 10 to 12 months, the executive said.

It is no surprise that a savvy investor would see the turmoil within Fox News as a major opportunity. As The Times piece noted, analysts estimate that Fox News produced 25 percent of 21st Century Fox’s operating income last year or a whopping $6.6 billion. Conservative news remains a cash cow for investors, but the media landscape is quickly changing with younger viewers “cutting the cord” and turning to alternative over-the-top live streaming platforms like Hulu, Amazon, Roku and YouTube TV. Could a conservative alternative channel with some big names have an edge on the 20-year-old conservative network? Stay tuned. Our source is convinced it can happen.

Update 12:58 p.m: This article has been updated with a quote from a television executive who is involved in the talks.

Charles Krauthammer joined Bill O’Reilly after the second Fox Business Network-Wall Street Journal Republican debate to reveal who he thinks helped and hurt their campaigns.

“The guy with the most at stake was Jeb Bush. Unfortunately, he had another weak night,” Krauthammer said. “I don’t want to kick him around, but it was not what he needed to do.”

He said that he also though John Kasich and Dr. Ben Carson had relatively poor showings.

As for the winners, Krauthammer said that Marco Rubio had “his usual stellar night.”

“It’s simply amazing. There is no subject on which he is not fluid and forceful and passionate,” Krauthammer said. “As usual, I think he led the field.”

Krauthammer said that he thought Carly Fiorina and Rand Paul also did very well.

He acknowledged that Paul takes many unpopular positions, such as his opposition to increased military spending, but he presented his non-mainstream policies in a compelling way.

Krauthammer said that Ted Cruz also had a pretty good night, while Donald Trump apparently decided to hang back and “tread water,” since he’s leading in most polls.

O’Reilly Blasts Sharpton on Ferguson, a ‘Charlatan’ Who ‘Only Cares About His Own Self-Aggrandizement’

By Curtis Houck, News Analyst

Media Research Center

8/20/2014 10:50 PM ET

On Wednesday evening, Bill O’Reilly returned from vacation to anchor his Fox News Channel (FNC) program live to discuss the situation in Ferguson, Missouri since the death of Michael Brown on August 9. In just over an eight-minute-long “Talking Points” segment, O’Reilly addressed multiple aspects of the story, but specifically slammed MSNBC host and activist Al Sharpton as “this charlatan” who “has the nerve to insult the American police community” while only caring “about his own self-aggrandizement.”

After airing a clip of Sharpton speaking at a rally in Ferguson on Sunday in which he indirectly called out law enforcement for “smear[ing]” Brown instead of “the principles of justice and dignity,” O’Reilly grew extremely agitated: “Al Sharpton has the nerve to insult the American police community, men and women risking their lives to protect us. This charlatan has the gall to do that and NBC News is paying him. My god! Why is that acceptable?” [MP3 audio here]

Extended Youtube Video (31:09): Fox News Bill O’Reilly Lashes Out At Al Sharpton About Ferguson MO Riots and Race Baiting

Posted by Fox Scat

Published on: Aug 20, 2014

Bill O’Reilly is mad as hell at Al Sharpton and how MSNBC is paying him to race bait the crowds in Ferguson MO.

Later, he emphasized the point that the officer who fatally shot Brown, Darren Wilson, “is entitled to the presumption of innocence that we all have under our constitution.” It is this tenet of the American criminal justice system that, in his opinion, is:

Something Al Sharpton will never give him because Sharpton only cares about his own self-aggrandizement and if he has to stoke racial hatred to get that, that’s what Sharpton will do. I know this man. His record defines him. Yet, he has succeeded in bringing his brand of racial grievance to the White House.

In addition, O’Reilly addressed the “race hustlers” who he said have taken full advantage of this tragic incident.  He declared that “[w]hat is going on in this story is beyond belief” and “[y]et these people get away with it and in certain places they are even respected.”

On the subject of the investigation of whether charges should be brought against Wilson, O’Reilly again held little back in voicing his disdain for what has transpired:

[T]o the race hustlers, Officer Wilson is already guilty. They have convicted him. There slogan is no justice, no peace. I guess that’s lynch mob justice because if those people will never accept anything other than a conviction of murder in this case. They don’t really care what happened. They want Officer Wilson punished and he should be punished if he murdered Michael Brown.

From the top of the show, O’Reilly told viewers that he was “[f]urious about how the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown is being reported and how various people are reacting to it.” He summarized the basic facts of the case and agreed with the federal government stepping in to oversee the investigation.

O’Reilly agreed with the decision to release surveillance footage of Brown allegedly committing a strong-armed robbery of a convenience store just before he was murdered, but lashed out at critics of this move and the news media:

You don’t suppress an important piece of information in a case like this when only one side of the story is being reported by the media, which is generally terrified of any racial situation.

Further, O’Reilly reported that, according to work done by his program, only four out of the 78 people arrested on Monday night in Ferguson were actually from Ferguson. A statistic like this, he said, shows that:

Many of the others are trouble makers who just streamed into town, but the liberal media will never report that. Nor will they report the true picture of criminal justice in the U.S.A.

After praising President Obama for how he has handled the situation in Ferguson thus far, the aforementioned host of The O’Reilly Factor concluded an extended “Talking Points” memo wih this:

As you saw with the O.J. Simpson acquittal, our justice system can be very flawed, but it’s all we have. It’s the only thing separating us from the anarchy that Al Sharpton and others want to impose. What happened to Michael Brown should never happen to any American. What happened after his death should never happen in this country, but it is happening and only the truth will overcome the chaos.

The complete transcript from the Talking Points memo on Fox News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor on August 20 is transcribed below.

FNC’s The O’Reilly Factor

August 20, 2014

8:01:27 p.m. Eastern

O’REILLY: The truth about Ferguson. That is the subject of this evening’s talking points memo. I came back from vacation because I am furious. Furious about how the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown is being reported and how various people are reacting to it. So let’s run it down. Mr. Brown is a victim, shot six times by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, who up until August 9th, had a very good record. Now, some suspect Wilson of murder and a grand jury is hearing the case. Also, Attorney General Eric Holder went to Ferguson, Missouri today to meet with FBI agents and state authorities who are conducting separate investigations. Good. The feds should look into this case and their investigation should be transparent. That is Americans should get hard information as it comes out, which brings us to this video of Mr. Brown stealing from a convenience store and pushing the clerk around. Agitators call the release of the video a smear against Michael Brown and his family. Further inflaming the situation, but facts are not smears and this goes to Mr. Brown’s state of mind on the day he was killed. Americans have a right to know what happened leading up to the shooting. You don’t suppress an important piece of information in a case like this when only one side of the story is being reported by the media, which is generally terrified of any racial situation.

Then there is the looting, disgraceful and one guy, even has a gun, alright? Shoots the lock off the door while his cohorts break in, and steal the merchandise. It doesn’t get any lower than this. The people rioting and looting in Ferguson are dishonoring the memory of Michael Brown and his grieving family. They are insulting them. Again, flat out disgraceful. The Factor has been investigating those arrested. On Monday night, 78 people were taken into custody and we believe about 30 of them have criminal records. Only four, four out of the 78 are from Ferguson. Many of the others are trouble makers who just streamed into town, but the liberal media will never report that. Nor will they report the true picture of criminal justice in the U.S.A. Instead, NBC News pays Al Sharpton to deliver garbage like this.

SHARPTON: A young man 18 years old shot down in the streets unarmed and rather than you address it, you tried to smear the young man, rather than uphold the principles of justice and dignity. I want you to know these parents are not going to cry alone. They’re not going to stand alone. They’re not going to fight alone. We have had enough.

O’REILLY: Enough of what, Al? Enough of what? Police efficiency? In 2012, the last stats available from the FBI, there were about 12 million arrests in the U.S.A. That averages out to 34,000 arrests per day. In 99.9% of those cases, the perpetrator was not killed by police. In fact, just over 400 fatal police shootings a year are recorded in this country, according to the FBI. So, let me restate, 12 million arrests a year, 400 fatal shootings, many of them justified and Al Sharpton has the nerve to insult the American police community, men and women risking their lives to protect us. This charlatan has the gall to do that and NBC News is paying him. My god! Why is that acceptable? Also on MSNBC, another agitator said this.

MICHELLE BERNARD: There is a war on black boys in this country. In my opinion, there is a war on African-American men. It is an absolutely deplorable situation that the United States, which is supposed to be the greatest country on Earth, sits back and allows black boys to be murdered.

O’REILLY: “Black boys being murdered?” In the context of Ferguson? Are you kidding me? The truth is that 91% of black homicide victims are killed by other blacks, 91%. Yet, that woman tries to mislead folks by accusing American law enforcement of shooting down young black men in the streets. It’s beyond belief. What is going on in this story is beyond belief. Yet these people get away with it and in certain places they are even respected. Incredibly, Al Sharpton is going to speak at the funeral of Michael Brown on Monday morning. The slogan the racial agitators are using in Ferguson is hands up, don’t shoot. They apparently believe that Michael Brown was trying to surrender when officer Wilson shot him dead. Maybe that’s true. We’ll find out, but MSNBC put a person on the air who said Mr. Brown was shot in the back. That turns out to be false, according to an autopsy.

We also hear today that Officer Wilson has an orbital blow out fracture of his eye socket. The Factor has not been able to confirm that, and we do not want to try this case on television. We’re only reporting the alleged injury to demonstrate that there will be much more to come in this case. That is why there is an investigation, and a grand jury and a trial process, but to the race hustlers, Officer Wilson is already guilty. They have convicted him. There slogan is no justice, no peace. I guess that’s lynch mob justice because if those people will never accept anything other than a conviction of murder in this case. They don’t really care what happened. They want Officer Wilson punished and he should be punished if he murdered Michael Brown. If a jury finds Wilson guilty, he should be put in prison for the rest of his life, but Officer Wilson is entitled to the presumption of innocence that we all have under our constitution.

When President Obama announced his brother’s keeper’s initiative I was there. Sharpton was there. Finally, the president himself. He was completely correct to call for calm in Missouri. That is his job, to lead the nation, but now, the president should step aside and allow his own Justice Department headed by Eric Holder, certainly sympathetic to Michael Brown to uncover the facts.

And that’s the memo.

Sharia Law and Rape

Iman Al-Obeidi hushed in public

John R. Houk

© March 30, 2011

ACT for America sent an email that relates information about an interview between Bill O’Reilly and Wafa Sultan. The email says O’Reilly was schooled by Dr. Sultan. The first thought I had is that O’Reilly was being adversarial toward Dr. Sultan concerning Sharia Law and rape. Dr. Sultan wrote a book that exposes the dark nature of Islam entitled, “A God Who Hates” (This is a link to an Andrew Bostom discussion about Dr. Sultan and her book).

The riveting personal narrative of “A God Who Hates” makes plain that Wafa Sultan’s views have evolved, and she now posits that Islam itself is the bane of the global Muslim community, or “umma.” She argues compellingly that traditional, mainstream conceptions of the God of Islam, Allah, and his Apostle Muhammad, bear ultimate responsibility for the bellicose aggressiveness, intolerance, and misogyny that pervade Muslim societies. Indeed, the book’s central motif characterizes Islam’s Allah as the deceptively fierce ogre in an Arabian parable, raging from his mountaintop perch:

From where he sits, he raves and shrieks, filling people’s hearts with fear by threatening to gobble them up if they leave their homes or do any kind of work at all. The people terrorized by his shrieks, can live only by stealth. Only their survival instinct keeps them going. They steal out like mice in secret to gather enough to keep body and soul together. They live day by day, waiting impatiently for the moment of their death. The fear of this ogre has sapped their intellect and depleted their physical powers, reducing them to despair and hopelessness.

As you can expect Dr. Wafa Sultan has been the recipient of numerous death threats forced to maintain a low profile residing in America originally from Syria

.

I watched the video of the interview between O’Reilly and Dr. Sultan. Although O’Reilly was his usual abrasive self, I really didn’t see an adversarial exchange. What I saw was O’Reilly playing devil’s advocate to get clarification from Dr. Sultan on the evils of Sharia Law. The topic of the O’Reilly-Sultan interview was the rape of Iman Al-Obeidi a Libyan woman by Qaddafi thugs.

The fact is though that rape is condoned under specific circumstances in Islam, Sharia Law and particularly nations where an Islamic culture dominates. America needs to get on board with the handful of other States that have enacted anti-Sharia statutes, anti-Sharia State Amendments or are in the process of doing so.

Below is the ACT for America email followed by an Andrew Bostom post yesterday about rape inside of Islam.
