Disagreement on Conspiracy Theory Pt 1

One of my favorite Internet pals is a fellow that frequents my WordPress blog NCCR. His moniker is Yurki1000. When I refer to him I usually his moniker because I am unsure of how much anonymity he wishes to maintain. He does sign many of his comments with his first name, but for the most part I’ll stick with Yurki1000 or Yurki.

That being said, Yurki has sent a lengthy comment that demonstrates agreement with another NCCR commenter using the moniker Futuret. Futuret leans more on the validity of some of the Conspiracy Theories than I do.

There are many Conspiracy Theories I concur with, yet many are simply beyond the believability scale especially when I know some facts that contradict a Conspiracy Theory accepted by way too many people.

I am preambling with this information primarily because I do not want to get involved in a rift with these two guys in whom typically I enjoy reading.

With another, ‘’that being said,” I am disagreeing much of Yurki’s comment to Futuret by answering the premises of the links and comments he has produced demonstrating agreement to the Political Vel Craft link that pushes the theory that the Chemical attack on Khan Shaykhun perpetrated by Bashar al-Assad that killed or injured hundreds of civilian men, women and children was a false flag perpetrated by Trump Administration.

Frankly, the more logical evidence I have read indicates this was not a false flag. If the attack was a false flag, then the fingering pointing source would be to the Trump Administration. I can’t accept that the guy promising to make America great again had anything to do with perpetrating an attack on men, women and children.

The other possibility is that Syrian Rebels gassed their own supporters. THAT IS LUDICROUS!

And the last possibility is there was no chemical attack whatsoever. There is simply too much evidence that a chemical attack occurred.

So, a false flag travels back to, It’s Trump’s fault. Again, I cannot accept that.

I have run into a bit of a difficulty in sharing my thoughts link by link and comment by comment. I got through Yurki’s first four links and have out that I have the equivalent of eleven pages of a Word Document. I am going to have to consider this post Part One of I have no idea of how many parts.

Syrian False Flag: CIA Mossad Armed ISIS Rebels Set Up Desperate Excuse For Trump

Evidence suggests a false flag chemical weapons attack on the Syrian people was initiated by Syrian rebels with the help of the United States in order to justify Thursday night’s U.S. Military attack on a Syrian base.

pResident Trump approved the bombing of the Syrian military base controlled by Bashir al-Assad supposedly to destroy the Syrian government’s ability to launch further chemical attacks on civilians.

Much of Political Vel Craft’s thoughts are developed on data that occurred under Obama and not Trump’s very brief tenure as President. For Example Obama’s exist from Iraq enabled ISIS in the first place. Obama wanted to get rid of Assad (which was commendable yet I mistrust the Obama motive), his huge mistake was in not vetting which Syrian rebels got the Libyan secret weapons cache sent suspiciously in a clandestine manner. My feeling Obama armed ISIS just as much as any Rebels he considered moderate.

Thus the declassified evidence criticized at Political Vel Craft has credence in accuracy than as a false flag.

Accusing Mossad/Israel of allying with ISIS is like criticizing Jews criticizing Hitler for turning on Stalin in WWII. Both WWII dictators were Antisemitic, but by 1939 Hitler was already targeting Jews in Germany. In Russia 1939 Jews were joining the Red Army as Russians rather than as Jews. It makes no sense to make a deal with the devil ISIS to get rid of the devil Assad.

Premise of the link: Osama bin Laden worked for the CIA and also died in 2001.

Who was Osama Bin Laden?
Osama bin Laden, A.K.A. CIA Asset “Tim Osman
“’

There is a striking resemblance in the comparison photo of Tim Osman and Osama bin Laden. Nevertheless, the facts speak for themselves. Undoubtedly the CIA was involved with arming and perhaps even training bin Laden. BUT that was the days of former Soviet Russia trying to convert Afghanistan into an atheistic Communist satellite. The CIA & Saudi money aided Afghan freedom fighters (mujahideen) to drive the Red Army crazy.

I have no idea what happened to this Osman fellow, but bin Laden went to be disillusioned with U.S. aid because of an infidel status. The infidel status sent bin Laden over the edge when Saudis allowed Bush I to set up military bases in Muslim holy land Saudi Arabia to take down Saddam Hussein in the First Gulf War.

Shazam! Al Qaeda is born to inflict pain on the USA. Then is a multitude of year following the 911 attack, bin Laden makes numerous recruiting and/or fatwa videos for his minions and against the USA.

http://humansarefree.com/2011/05/proof-that-osama-bin-laden-was-cia-and.html

The essence of the above link is that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is a Jew undercover for Mossad. This conspiracy theory’s biggest problem is two-fold.

1. The source of the theory Shi’ite Iran. Sunnis and Shia hate each other. ISIS claims itself as Sunni. ISIS victims are largely Christians, Yazidis and Shia Muslims.

2. The pro-Iranian use a photo comparison much like the above link uses a photo to claim that Tim Osman and Osama bin Laden are one and the same. The theory states that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is really actor Simon Elliot (or Elliot Shimon to add a more Jewish pedigree).

I answer premise one within the numbered premise.

Premise number two again uses photo comparisons that have an uncanny resemblance. The problem: al-Baghdadi has a public history even known to be a one-time prisoner of the USA in Iraq that was released. The Brookings Institution has a quite lengthy biography of al-Baghdadi that includes a family lineage and his birth name – which is not Elliot Simon. You should read the whole thing, but for my purposes here are some excerpts:

IBRAHIM AWWAD IBRAHIM AL-BADRI was born in 1971 in Samarra, an ancient Iraqi city on the eastern edge of the Sunni Triangle north of Baghdad. The son of a pious man who taught Quranic recitation in a local mosque, Ibrahim himself was withdrawn, taciturn, and, when he spoke, barely audible. Neighbors who knew him as a teenager remember him as shy and retiring. Even when people crashed into him during friendly soccer matches, his favorite sport, he remained stoic. But photos of him from those years capture another quality: a glowering intensity in the dark eyes beneath his thick, furrowed brow.

Early on, Ibrahim’s nickname was “The Believer.” When he wasn’t in school, he spent much of his time at the local mosque, immersed in his religious studies; and when he came home at the end of the day, according to one of his brothers, Shamsi, he was quick to admonish anyone who strayed from the strictures of Islamic law.

Now Ibrahim al-Badri is known to the world as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the ruler of the Islamic State or ISIS, and he has the power not just to admonish but to punish and even execute anyone within his territories whose faith is not absolute. His followers call him “Commander of the Believers,” a title reserved for caliphs, the supreme spiritual and temporal rulers of the vast Muslim empire of the Middle Ages. Though his own realm is much smaller, he rules millions of subjects. Some are fanatically loyal to him; many others cower in fear of the bloody consequences for defying his brutal version of Islam.

Two of Baghdadi’s uncles served in Saddam’s security services, and one of his brothers became an officer in the army. Another brother who served in the military died during the grueling eight-year war that Iraq fought against Iran in the 1980s with tacit U.S. support. Baghdadi might well have shared that fate had the war continued a little longer and his near-sightedness not disqualified him from military service.

When Baghdadi graduated from the University of Baghdad in 1996, he enrolled in the recently-established Saddam University for Islamic Studies where he studied for a master’s in Quranic recitation, his favorite subject. His family’s Baathist connections undoubtedly helped him get into the highly-selective graduate program. Baghdadi’s master’s thesis was a commentary on an obscure medieval text on Quranic recitation. His task was to reconcile various versions of the manuscript. While tedious, it involved little imagination and no questioning of the content—a perfect project for a dogmatist. He received his master’s degree in 1999 and immediately enrolled in Saddam University’s doctoral program in Quranic studies.

During Baghdadi’s time in graduate school, his paternal uncle, Ismail al-Badri, persuaded him to join the Muslim Brotherhood, a transnational movement dedicated to establishing states governed by Islamic law. … But Baghdadi quickly gravitated toward those few Salafis whose strict creed led them to call for the overthrow of rulers they considered betrayers of the faith. They called themselves jihadist Salafis. Baghdadi’s older brother, Jum`a, was part of this movement. So was Baghdadi’s mentor, Muhammad Hardan, a one-time member of the Brotherhood who had fought in the war against the Soviets in Afghanistan in the 1980s.

Baghdadi threw himself into the writings of those Muslim Brothers who had embraced jihadism. Under their tutelage he grew increasingly impatient with the Brotherhood mainstream, which he felt was made up of “people of words, not action.”

THE PRISONER

LATE IN 2003, after the Americans had defeated and disbanded Saddam’s army, Baghdadi helped found Jaysh Ahl al-Sunna wa-l-Jamaah (Army of the People of the Sunna and Communal Solidarity), an insurgent group that fought U.S. troops and their local allies in northern and central Iraq.

Soon after, in February 2004, Baghdadi was arrested in Fallujah while visiting a friend who was on the American wanted list. He was transferred to a detention facility at Camp Bucca, a sprawling complex in southern Iraq. Prison files classified him as a “civilian detainee,” which meant his captors didn’t know he was a jihadist.

By the time Baghdadi was released on December 8, 2004, he had a virtual Rolodex for reconnecting with his co-conspirators and protégés: they had written one another’s phone numbers in the elastic of their underwear.

THE CONFIDANT

JUST TWO MONTHS BEFORE BAGHDADI’S RELEASE, al-Qaida established a branch of its terror network in Iraq by absorbing a jihadist militia run by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and putting him in charge of it. Zarqawi, a Jordanian who wanted to create an Islamic state, thought he could use al-Qaida in Iraq (AQI) to provoke a sectarian civil war between Iraq’s minority Sunnis and the majority Shiites, which would force the Sunnis to turn to his group for protection.

… Baghdadi set about his assigned task of ensuring that AQI’s online propaganda was in line with its brand of ultraconservative Islam. Baghdadi’s tribal connections in Iraq and his ties with other jihadist groups there must have also come in handy, because on several occasions he was able to help foreign jihadists cross Syria’s border into his native land. At the time, Syria’s President, Bashar al-Assad, was turning a blind eye to the foreign fighter pipeline into Iraq in order to punish the United States for invading the country; that same pipeline …

In 2006, al-Qaida in Iraq formed an umbrella organization for jihadist groups resisting the American occupation. Baghdadi’s group was one of the first to join. Soon after, Zarqawi declared his intent to establish an Islamic state, directly countermanding al-Qaida’s instructions to wait until after the Americans had withdrawn and AQI secured popular support for establishing the state. When Zarqawi was killed in a U.S. airstrike in June, his successor, Abu Ayyub al-Masri, an Egyptian jihadist, went ahead with the plan. …

Because of his scholarly credentials, Baghdadi was put in charge of the Islamic State’s religious affairs in some of its Iraqi “provinces.” Because the group did not yet actually control any territory, this largely meant that Baghdadi continued to be responsible for ensuring that the Islamic State’s propaganda reflected its creed, and that its foot soldiers abided by its strictures and implemented the harsh punishments prescribed by Islamic scripture wherever and whenever they could. Accused adulterers whom they managed to capture were stoned, alcohol drinkers were whipped, thieves had their hands amputated, and “apostates”—anyone who defied the Islamic State’s program—were executed.

… Whatever the case, the captured courier led the Iraqi authorities to al-Rawi, who, under interrogation, gave his captors information that enabled a U.S.-Iraqi force in April 2010 to surround the mud house outside Tikrit where Abu Umar and Masri were hiding. The two blew themselves up rather than surrender.

With their deaths, the Islamic State faced its first leadership succession. The Consultative Council couldn’t meet in conclave to choose a new emir since that might have ended with another American-led raid and another multiple suicide. Bin Laden, who still had the allegiance of the Islamic State, issued instructions to the Consultative Council to appoint an interim leader [Blog Editor: NOTE that was 2010! A full 9-yrs after the above Conspiracy Theory that Osama bin Laden died in 2001.] and to send him a list of candidates for emir and their qualifications.

THE EMIR

WITH THE DEATH OF THE ISLAMIC STATE’S COMMANDERS, the head of the Islamic State’s military council, Hajji Bakr, was suddenly in a position to manipulate the succession. A former officer in Saddam’s army who had served time in Camp Bucca after Baghdadi’s release, Bakr was tainted as the former servant of an impious regime and therefore not a contender for supreme leadership himself, so he set about to be the kingmaker and the power behind the throne. Ignoring bin Laden’s instructions, Hajji Bakr polled the 11 members of the Consultative Council on their preferences. But he reportedly rigged the outcome by writing a letter to each saying that all of the others were in favor of Baghdadi. …

The council elected the new emir of the Islamic State by a vote of 9 to 2. It was then that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, at the age of 39, took his now-famous nom de guerre, a double homage to his faith and his native land. Abu Bakr was Muhammad’s father-in-law and, after the Prophet’s death, the first caliph; Baghdad was the capital of the grandest caliphate in early Islam, the Abbasid dynasty. The Abbasids had swept to power in the eighth century using clever apocalyptic propaganda and clandestine networks to mobilize popular anger against the ruling regime in Damascus. Baghdadi was clearly hoping to repeat the performance on the same stage.

With the new emir’s blessing, not to mention gratitude, Hajji Bakr set about purging the ranks of the Islamic State of anyone who could challenge Baghdadi’s authority. Dubbed by Islamic State insiders as the “prince of shadows” and the emir’s “private minister,” Hajji Bakr settled scores and eliminated rivals through intimidation and assassination, much as Saddam had done.

The power had now shifted from the foreign fighters to the Iraqi members of the Islamic State. As American and Iraqi forces killed or captured the previous emir’s commanders, their replacements were often, like Baghdadi and Hajji Bakr, former prisoners from Camp Bucca. READ ENTIRETY (THE BELIEVER: How an Introvert with a Passion for Religion and Soccer Became Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Leader of the Islamic State; By William McCants; Brookings Institution; 9/1/15)

A bit lengthy of an excerpt, right? It does prove that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi IS NOT an Israeli Mossad agent whose name is Simon Elliot. Not only is it ridiculous, the Conspiracy Theory smacks of the Antisemitic concept that Jews are behind are the evils of the world. That is a bit infuriating for me.

The link is to a WordPress blog called “the real Syrian Free Press”. A brief examination of the website shows it is probably is not as free as it claims or real Syrian as it claims. The blog is a rubberstamp for Bashar al-Assad the dictator that rules as a Shia-Alawite in the Sunni majority Syria. That means its support of Assad there is also support for the crazy Mullahs of Shia-Twelver Iran. Iran is currently the biggest state sponsor of Islamic terrorism. And Iran calls the shots for its terrorist client Hezbollah – Jew-hating Shias in Lebanon which is west of Syria.

It lumps Qatar owned al Jazeera and Saudi owned but United Arab Emirates – Dubai (UAE) located al Arabiya with two Left leaning American news outlets. Saudi Arabia and Qatar propagates the Sunni extremely Radical Islamic theology of Wahhabism. The same line of reasoning used by most Islamic terrorists such as al Qaeda and ISIS.

The Gorka Briefing

VIMEO VIDEO: Sebastian Gorka

My speech at the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s 2016 Restoration Weekend held at the beginning of November in Palm Beach, FL

TRANSCRIPT:

Sebastian Gorka: Thank you so much. I’m accused by many people of being the most serious man on television. Today it might be a little bit different. I’m in a little bit of a different mood, but I’m going to start with something a tad naughty, if you want to indulge me. We are happy, right? We are happy. But I’m going to show a picture I’m not meant to show usually. But here we go anyway. We can win now. I’m here to talk about defeating Jihad. That’s the title of my book, and I’ll start with one very simple explanation of why I wrote that book. I wrote that book because I have the honor, the inestimable honor, to work with our military, with our special forces, our marines, the cream of the crop, the best of the best, and I’m angry because for 15 years we have been losing this war. We have the best of the best, and they have not been allowed to win. And I’m going to talk to you today about what it will take to win.

Before I do that, I want to tell you a story. When I was asked to write a book – “Defeating Jihad” is my first book – I thought, “Well, this is easy.” I eat, drink and sleep this stuff. My wife, Katie, is an expert on Jihad as well. Our pillow talk is the Islamic State and Al-Qaeda. Don’t worry, it’s okay. So, I thought I’m just going to sit down. I’m going to dive right in. I’m going to write about what I do for our war fighters, what I teach them in the class, how to understand the enemy, the A-Z of national security and counterterrorism. When I told my wife, she said, “Are you crazy? I mean don’t you want to sell books or we just want to sell them to wonks? You just want to national security experts? I said, “No, I’d like some people to read it.” So, she gave me some very sage advice, and this is to all you budding authors out there: If you want the people to read your book, especially Americans, you must have a good story. You have to connect. You may be the smartest guy or gal out there, multiple PhDs, been there, seen it, got the T-shirt, but if you cannot connect with the reader, it’s just a book. So, I did something different. The introductory chapter to my book seemingly has nothing to do with counterterrorism, but it’s a story that is the only thing everybody who’s read the book wants to talk to me about. So bear with me while I share with you a story.

Imagine a 15-year-old young man. It’s 1945, and he is walking through the rubble of his beloved city where he was born and raised, Budapest, the capitol of Hungary. In the last 5 years, he has witnessed the horrors of World War II himself as a young boy. Now he’s walking through a city in which every bridge over the Danube has been blown. People don’t realize the siege of Budapest was the longest siege in World War II, longer than Stalingrad. Out of every five buildings in that beautiful city three have been bombed into dust. So he stood there looking at the apocalyptic vision, but he had hope. Why did he have hope? Because he heard on the wire that the great men have brought peace in a city called Yalta, and at Yalta those great men had signed a document, and that document not only would stop the fighting. It would permit for the rebuilding of Europe. And for his country and a country where the Soviet troops were now occupying, the Yalta treaty guaranteed those nations like Hungary free and democratic elections. They would be allowed to choose their path to independence after the cessation of hostilities. So the young man had hope, but that hope was of course dashed.

In the next three years as he grew to maturity, he witnessed the Soviets and he witnessed the puppets of the Soviets, the Hungarian communists, swallow up that country as they did with all the countries behind what would be the Iron Curtain. If you resisted the communists, you would be intimidated. If you persisted to want freedom and independence, you would be beaten up, and if you still carried on, you would be arrested, imprisoned, or simply murdered by the secret police. The author had been betrayed. Hungary had been betrayed. Millions had been betrayed. So what did this young man decide to do? He decided to resist at the ripe old age of 18, but not with a gun, not with a bomb, but covertly, subtly. He started school, started college, and he identified around him a handful of like-minded Christian patriots that wanted to resist the communists, and he created an underground resistance movement that would collect sensitive information about what exactly the Soviets were doing in Hungary, the troop movements, how they were gobbling up strategic industries. And they’d collect that information, and they’d surreptitiously send it out to the West, to free a government that could use it to help the Hungarians. And they did, for several months, using literally like a John le Carré novel, using invisible ink on otherwise very anodyne letters to the West. They sent their intelligence, and the intelligence landed at an intelligence service of one of the great nations, the United Kingdom. An MI6 became the final destination for those reports, so some good could be done. The UK would help us, right? Because they’re the mother of democracies. Little did they know. Little did they know. Those young men were supplying intelligence data to MI6, and at the end of the reporting line was none other than Kim Filby.

Kim Philby, if you know your Cold War history, was one of the five Cambridge apostles, the deadliest traitors to Western civilization during the Cold War, men recruited at Cambridge and Oxford by the KGB to work their way into the highest echelons of British government and betray the West. So what did Philby do as he did with numerous patriots across the Iron Curtain region? He collected intelligence, and once he could identify everybody in the group, what did he do? He blew them all in to the KGB and the Hungarian communists. As a result, this young man at the age of now 20 was arrested by the secret police, tortured, and given a life sentence for being a patriot and a lover of freedom. What does this have to do with anything about the threat to America today? Everything, and it’s in the book because that young man, that 15-year-old boy, standing in the ruins of Budapest, was my father, Paul Gorka.

My father spent 6 years in a communist prison, two years in solitary. Not two months, two years. Two years in a prison coal mine where each prisoner – hold on to your seats – without machinery or explosives was required by the communist wardens to break ten tons of anthracite off the coal face every day. But, a few years later, in the cold, cold autumn of 1956, something happened that was monumental. Not as monumental as Wednesday morning, but monumental. The group of young Hungarian students and manual laborers, believe it or not — quite a coalition, think about Wednesday. Yeah? Think about the blue-collar rural vote. Some students and some manual laborers decided to have a demonstration in Budapest, the silent demonstration. That silent demonstration devolved into the first freedom fight against communism, the October revolution of 1956, 60 years ago this year. As the result of that revolution, my father was liberated from prison by a revolutionary commander who had captured a Soviet tank. He escaped to the West with the daughter of one of his fellow prison mates, the 17-year-old girl called Susan, of whom his prison mate had said to my father in jail, “If you ever get out of this prison alive, please take my daughter to the West,” and my father, who thought he was going to die in prison, said to him, “Yeah, sure, whatever, I’ll take your daughter out to the West.” Well, now, he was free, so he had to keep his word and so he did. They escaped under a train across the minefields to Austria, to a refugee camp, and eventually to the United Kingdom, and that is how I am here today. Born in the UK, raised to Hungarian parents, but now a proud American. So, why do I tell you the story? The only thing people want to talk about in my book. Because of the following:

When those two planes flew into those skyscrapers 15 years ago on that beautifully blue sky Tuesday morning, I looked at that event somewhat differently I think from my fellow Americans. Why? Because, yes, it was Jihadi terrorism, absolutely Jihadi terrorism, but more importantly that event was linked to communism. It was linked to fascism. Why? Because Al-Qaeda, ISIS, all of these groups are all totalitarians. They don’t worship Karl Marx and the working class. They don’t worship an Aryan nation in a 1,000-year reich, but they are totalitarians because they will brook no compromise. Either you surrender to them or they will kill you. And for me, that event was the rekindling of totalitarian threats to America, and it was a reinforcement of what the great Ronald Reagan said so perfectly when he told us, “Remember the loss of freedom is always but one generation away.” I grew up, thanks to my parents, knowing in my blood, that liberty is as fragile as it is precious, and we are once again in a situation where we face a deadly foe who will not be negotiated with, and that foe is what I like to call the global Jihadi movement. So, let’s have a look at what we all need to know as Americans at what it’s going to take for the President we have elected to defeat our new totalitarian foe.

9/11 was the rekindling of totalitarian threats to America.

I’m going to share with you very quickly the conclusions of a report my wife and I did. My wife and I have a company called the Threat Knowledge Group. It supports our military and intelligence community and law enforcement, and we ran a two-year program for the Green Berets for the commanding general of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command. As a result of that project, we published this analysis of ISIS. I have signup sheets here if anybody wants the original report. It is unclassified and we would be delighted to email you a copy, but let me just very briefly tell you why ISIS is much more dangerous than Al-Qaeda ever was. Very simply based upon four metrics that are indisputable.

No. ISIS isn’t just a terrorist group like Al-Qaeda. It is a trans-regional insurgency. That’s a technical phrase, but let me unpack it. The difference between a terrorist group and an insurgency is a terrorist is just a bunch of guys and gals hiding out somewhere. When they come out of hiding, they kill somebody, blow something up, and then what do they do is they go back into hiding. This is the Weather Underground. Yes, our friends Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn. This is the IRA. This is ETA. This is Baader-Meinhof. That’s the ISIS. ISIS doesn’t hide in safe houses. ISIS is an insurgency. An insurgency is marked by one metric. They have so many fighters that they operate in daylight, and they can capture territory, and they can hold it to include Mosul, the second biggest city in Iraq. ISIS today holds territory in Iraq, Syria, Libya, even Nigeria. Boko Haram is now a full affiliate of ISIS.

Recently — I’m not disclosing anything; it’s a leak to the Washington Post — when President Obama had a big powwow at the Pentagon 3 months ago, the National Counterterrorism Center briefed him on the extent of ISIS in the world today, and the map they used was leaked. You can Google it. NCTC, the highest intelligence organ in the U.S. dealing with counterterrorism, stated to the President of the United States, ISIS has today, and I quote, “18 fully operational affiliates around the world.” Not sympathizers. Fully operational partner organizations. Why is this an issue? Two years earlier when the State Department gave the same briefing, it was seven. ISIS has gone from seven to 18 operational affiliates under the presidency of Obama in the last 2 years. That’s his agency telling him.

Second, it is the richest threat group of its kind in modern history. If we look at non-state actors — I’m not talking about the Soviet Union or Hitler’s Third Reich — if we look at organizations, nobody comes close to ISIS. The unclassified U.S. government estimates are that ISIS makes between $2 million and $4 million every 24 hours. Right? Illicit oil sales, racketeering, hostage taking. They even have their own IRS. Okay. Not as bad as Obama’s, but they have their own IRS. So, between $2 million and $4 million every day. Let’s get a grip on that. What does that amount of money mean? Well let’s relativize it. If you read the 9/11 Commission report you will find that the original 9/11 attacks against America by Al-Qaeda cost less than $500,000.00. The whole operation from safe houses, student Visas, flight schools; the whole thing, $480,000.00. ISIS makes that in 6 hours. Not a JV team.

Third, perhaps the most impressive of all in just quantitative analysis is how many people they have recruited. Stunning. ISIS in its current form has only been around for a few years, but ISIS in that short period has recruited more than 85,000 Jihadists. Not sympathizers, actual Jihadi fighters, 85,000. What’s even more impressive, of the 85,000, 36,000 aren’t even Iraqis or Syrians. They’re not from the war zone. They’ve been recruited from outside, and the scariest of all, of the 36,000 that are foreigners at least 6,000 are Westerners, Americans, Brits, Germans, people on the Visa waiver program of the U.S. State Department, who have freedom of movement. Incredibly impressive; however, the last one in yellow is the most important of all, and unfortunately it’s the one we least discuss even inside the intelligence community, and it is the following:

On June 29, 2014, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS, after his troops, his terrorists, had captured the second biggest city in Iraq, walked into the Grand Mosque of Mosul, climbed the steps of the pulpit, gave a sermon, and in that sermon, Abu Bakr declared the caliphate is now reborn. The Islamic Empire has been reestablished, and I am your new Caliph. I am the theocratic emperor of all Muslims. Now, why is this important? Because as everybody here knows, especially history buffs, the Caliphate isn’t some crazy idea dreamed up in the febrile mind of some Jihadi in a cave somewhere. The Empire of Islam was a real entity for over 1,000 years, established in Mecca, then headquartered in Damascus, at the height of its power run out of Baghdad, and I like to remind people, at the height of its power consider this: The Islamic Empire, the Caliphate, stretched in territory from Spain to India. It was larger than the Roman Empire ever was, a real entity. But not only that, less than a 100 years ago at the beginning of the 20th century, what happened? There was still the Caliphate. It wasn’t run by Arabs out of the Middle East, and we didn’t call it the Caliphate. We called it the Ottoman Empire, but the Ottoman Empire was the latest iteration of the Islamic theocratic empire.

But what happened to the Ottomans? Well in 1914, they put their money on the wrong horse, and when 1918 rolled around, they were in trouble. They were on the losing side of World War I. And to prevent themselves being cut up into little pieces like the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, what did they do? A very handsome, charismatic Ottoman officer called Mustafa Kemal, who we now know as Atatürk, decided to secularize his nation. He became the first president of the Turkish Republic, said, “We are all Muslims, but Islam can have nothing to do with politics. Therefore, I am separating Islam and government.” And how did he do this? In 1924, over his own signature, he dissolved the Caliphate formally. Anybody out there a fan of Monty Python? That was a sign of a civilized mind. Best Monty Python skit, the Dead Parrot. The Caliphate went the way of the parrot in that famous skit. It ceased to be. The little old man with the white beard, who was the caliph, was given his pink slip. He was fired. Why am I talking about this? Who cares? We just won an election. Right? Who cares? Everybody in this room should care. Why? For the next 90 years, Muslims who disagreed with Atatürk created organizations across the world from Asian to the Levant to do what? Bring the Caliphate back starting with the Muslim Brotherhood. But they all the way through to Al-Qaeda every single one of the failed. Hundreds of Jihadi organizations established and failed for the next century.

But then what happens? June 29, 2014, ISIS doesn’t talk about bringing back the Caliphate. It just does it. And one more reason to understand the relevance of this history. Look at what Omar Mateen did, the Orlando murderer. We now know, the Attorney General tried to censor it, but we now know halfway through the largest terrorist attack in America since September 11, Omar Mateen went to the restroom in the nightclub, put down his rifle, picked up his cell phone and dialed 911, not to call ambulances to the scene but to do what? To tell the dispatcher four times – we have the audio now, you can listen to it – to tell the world what? I am a Jihadi. I do what I do for the Islamic State. I do what I do for the new caliph of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. It’s not ancient history nor is it simply something happening 8,000 miles away in Mesopotamia. It is happening here on the streets of Orlando, on the streets of Boston, on the streets of San Bernardino. That’s why ISIS is an existential threat to everything you hold dear and everything that Mr. Trump’s victory represents.

So, let me bring it all back home. Let me talk briefly about what ISIS is doing in America. This is a covered in a report we recently wrote upon. What is actually happening in the United States that can be linked to ISIS, and we wrote this without a client; we had no sponsor, but we were motivated because we were getting some very strange signals. The White House was telling us publicly, “Not a problem, ISIS is fine, not an issue.” But our friends, especially inside the FBI, were saying we have a problem, and as a result, we sat down and for 3 months we collected all the unclassified information on what ISIS is doing in American, and here are the facts. Before I talk about our report, let me give you some corroborating evidence from Chapel Hill. Every year Chapel Hill writes a very politically correct report – you can tell by the title, “Muslim American Involvement in Violent Extremism.” Right? We’re not going to use the word “Jihad.” But it’s based upon unequivocal statistics, so it’s useful because it’s basically a summation of every Jihadi port in America that’s happened in the last 12 months. This is their last report, and I give you just Figure 1.

fig-1-muslim-american-terrorism-suspects-perpetrators-since-9-11

Fig. 1- Muslim-American Terrorism Suspects & Perpetrators Since 9/11

Have a look at that chart. It is a bar graph of every terrorist Jihadi plot in America in the last 15 years. Do you see the problem? The graph is going in the wrong direction. They’re doing more, not less. And interestingly, look at the two inordinate spikes. First one, ’09 huge peak. What happened in ’09? I wonder. And, look at last year. This is everything you need to know. 2015 saw the highest incidents of Jihadi plots in the United States since 9/11. Despite 2015 being the year when both the Commander-in-Chief and Secretary Kerry said the following three days before San Bernardino, and I quote directly. The President and his chief diplomats said, “ISIS is contained. We are winning.” That was 72 hours before the San Bernardino attack which, since then, has been eclipsed completely by Orlando.

Okay, let’s look at our report. Here are the facts of the matter. We have mapped every ISIS plot in America since the Caliphate was declared two-and-a-half years ago. With the recent arrests after New Jersey and New York there have been 124 people arrested in America as ISIS terrorists. Not 24, not 34; 134. And the bad news is they’re everywhere. This isn’t concentrated in the Somali population of Minnesota. This is from Texas to California, from New Jersey to Pennsylvania. Yes it’s practically everywhere. And here is the very disturbing news and this is what Mr. Trump will have to deal with. If you break down what they were doing when we caught them or killed them, this is the breakdown. About half of them are what the FBI calls “travelers,” a delightful euphemism. Sounds like they’re going on holiday to Paris, right? “Travelers.” These are U.S. subjects that have sworn allegiance to ISIS, but want to leave America to fight Jihad in the Middle East. Yes, they’re planning to go to Syria, Iraq, what have you, so they want to get out. Then we have about 20 percent that are the middle management terrorists. The talent spotters, the recruiters, the people who bring the Jihadi in, vet them and then buy them their plane ticket to the Middle East, which leaves a shocking proportion, 33.3 percent, exactly a third, who are individuals who likewise have sworn allegiance to the new emperor Abu Bakr, but have decided they are not going anywhere. They have decided the best way to serve the new Caliphate and the new emperor is to kill infidels here in America. As the result of that very high percentage, we closed our report with the following conclusion. The likelihood of a mass casualty Paris-style attack in America is not a question of if. It is a question of when. And we published that one week before San Bernardino. So that’s the bad news. What’s the good news? There is a way to win and that’s what my book Defeating Jihad is about. A very simple set of ideas.

No. 1: no more political correctness. Gone. The idea that the administration can censor the threat, the idea that the Attorney General can have the words “Jihad” removed from transcripts of the Orlando shooter is over. In 2011, the White House issued an unclassified memorandum after a request from CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations. That memo the White House wrote was sent to the then-Attorney General the chief law enforcement officer of America, and the then-Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the most senior military officer, and that memo, which you can find on my web site, stated the following. From this day forward, all training in the United States, whether of the military or law enforcement, will have no mention of the religion of Islam and words like “Jihad” are prohibited. That is your federal government. Well that has to stop, and we all know one thing about Donald Trump, don’t we? He doesn’t like political correctness. We cannot defeat our enemy unless we understand how religion informs his operations and defines our strategic objectives. Speak truth to the threat because you cannot heal a disease if you’re not allowed to diagnose it nor can you defeat an enemy if you are curtailed on what you are allowed to say about them factually.

If you run the numbers, the majority of victims of Jihadis in the world today are in fact Muslims.

Second, please don’t misunderstand me. Some people do and it causes issues. We are not at war with Islam. That is a fallacious and dangerous concept. Why? No. 1, do you remember the video of the fighter pilot in the cage burnt alive? Yes. What religion was he? Was he an Episcopalian? No. He was a Muslim. In fact, if you run the numbers, the majority of victims of Jihadis in the world today are in fact Muslims. Yeah. I mean, they’ve decimated Christian, Yazidis, Jews, yes, but by sheer numbers and proportions they are far more likely to kill you if you’re a Muslim who disagrees with them than anybody else. So we have to do what? We have to empower those Muslims who want to be our friends to help defeat them. The Jordanians, the Egyptians, those countries who for the last seven-and-a-half years have been betrayed by this administration. It is not tenable to have white skin or black skin or yellow-skinned Americans be the face of victory against the Jihadists. We want it to be fellow Muslims. We want it to be the King of Jordan. We want it to be President Sisi. That’s when you get victory. When the Muslims destroy the Jihadis.

Lastly, look, I’ll be honest with you. I am a child of the Cold War. I grew up under the Cold War. It formed me. I miss it immensely. It was much easier. It was much easier, much easier. We can win this war the same way we won the Cold War. That’s the ultimate victory, and as I like to inform my young students and officers for whom 1989 might as well be the sacking of Troy; I like to remind them that 27 years ago this week, November 9 in Berlin, when we America won the cold war, can anybody tell me how many bullets were fired across Checkpoint Charlie? It’s a very round number. Right. Zero. None. Not one bullet was shot from an M16 or an AK47. Not one. Not one bomb left a bomb bay of an aircraft. But hang on. We won. So how did we win? We won thusly. The Great Gipper didn’t just bankrupt the Soviet Union financially. Much more importantly he bankrupted their ideology. He destroyed communism morally, spiritually. He showed communism and Marxism for the hollow decrepit death cult that it is. And as a result on that cold November 9 it wasn’t U.S. GIs with pick axes that took down the Berlin wall. It was the East Germans on the other side who said this is enough. This is bogus. This communism stuff is rubbish and with hand tools they took down a wall which, if you had crossed a few weeks earlier, you would have been shot. That’s how we won. We de-legitimized the enemy’s narrative, their ideology, their world view and lo and behold that is exactly what we have to do again today. That is when ultimate victory begins. Yes. Don’t get me wrong. Don’t get me wrong. The kinetic part of this war killing terrorists. I am down with killing terrorists. Okay. I’m very cool with it. But body bags are not a good metric of success. They weren’t during that little tete-a-tete in South Asian called the Vietnam War and they’re not much of a better metric today. This war should only be fought about 25 percent in the physical domain. Ultimate victory will happen where? In the mental and spiritual when the enemy no longer believes their own ideology and therefore loses the will to fight us just as happened with the Soviet Union.

So to translate that into practical terms, President Trump needs to create a strategic level counterpropaganda campaign just like President Reagan did primarily in the black sphere but also in the white sphere. We need things like the U.S. information agency again and we will need to work through our proxies. We need to help the Jordanians, the Egyptians and Moratis just the same way we helped the dissidents of the Cold War. I mean, we smuggled fax machines into Poland. Yes? I mean that was as important as anything else that we did during the Cold War and then that is how we can win.

If you want any more details then it’s all in Defeating Jihad, which is a primer on the threat to America, what you need to know about our enemy and then my plan for how to defeat them. Okay. I’ll be glad to take any of your questions if you wish to ask them. Thank you.

If you wish to ask them informally you have my email up there. Also my twitter handle. I’m very active on social media. My wife says I’m a bit too active but there you go. And also if you want anything I do for public consumption it’s available at my web site thegorkerbriefing.com or my media my analysis and then everything we do for boys and girls in uniform is on our web site thethreatknowledge.org site and then lastly my wife runs a 501C3 that monitors the evolution of Jihadi ideology. That’s the Council on Global Securities so you may want to mark down those web sites. Okay first question please.

[Response to audience member question:]

Okay so this is a bit of a technical question. I don’t want to get into a big discourse here on the technical issues. “Attack theorism” is the best technical label for what the Jihadis do. It’s a philosophy of Islam. It comes from an individual called Ibintime Mia, a scholar about a 1,000 years ago who basically said, “I can decide if you’re not acting like a true Muslim.” It’s unilateral excommunication and attack theories, like Bin Laden, like Abu Bakr say, “Oh, the King of Jordan. He’s clearly not a Muslim, so we can kill him.” It’s a pillar of their philosophy, but it’s explained in more detail in my book. Thank you. Please my friend.

[Response to audience member question:]

Very simply why don’t we, why shouldn’t we say that? I’ll tell you. I’ll give it to you from the best source possible and this is General Sisi. The general, General Vallely and myself met with General Sisi before he become president. General Sisi of Egypt is a devout Muslim, a seriously devout Muslim, but when we asked him, “General, why did you do what you did? Why did you take your forces onto the streets to take down a democratically elected government?” And he was very, very simple in his answer. He said, “Because I am an Egyptian before I am a Muslim.” It’s not the same thing. Not the same thing. There are examples of Muslim states that have functioned in ways that comport with our value system and can function as allies. Look at Turkey. Turkey was the most important NATO nation in Europe and it was a Muslim nation. But why did it function? Because religion was separated from politics. We need to have that secularization happen again and we need to support people like General Sisi. That’s my argument.

It’s not going to be easy, but it’s absolutely possible because really what we’re talking about is a brand here. The brand is Jihadism and the issue is the concept of Jihad is far more attractive now than the secular version of Islam that is practiced in our allied and partner nations. The way I explain this in terms of visualization is, imagine if one of you, right now, left this building and went to downtown Miami and walked down the largest boulevard waving a giant swastika banner. Okay. You would not be cool to say the least. Okay. We have to do the same thing for the black flag of Jihad. It is a counter-messaging issue. We have to make it unattractive. Whether or not the end state is transcendentally informed or not is irrelevant. We have to associate that image with failure. Once we have done that we will be winning.

I cannot talk for all American Muslims and nobody in this room can do that. Okay? How do I think some of them deal with this? Many of them say, “Well, I know that, but that’s the seventh century. I don’t agree with it.” But they make a personal decision. Look at the fact that we have Muslims who wear the cloth of the republic who have died for this nation in combat. So what decisions have they made? They’ve made the decision that I may be a Muslim, but the Constitution of the United States usurps those passages in the Koran. The fact that some other Muslims would say he is therefore a heretic. That’s another issue. That’s another issue. But I think individuals make personal choices. They contextualize the religion and whether they can do that with the permission of somebody else who disagrees with them is another question.

The US-led coalition against ISIS has reportedly killed the terror group’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The Mirror reports that a news agency linked to ISIS released a statement noting: “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed by coalition air strikes on Raqqa on the fifth day of Ramadan.” Raqqa is located in Syria.

Last week, an Iraqi TV station shared claims that Baghdadi had been wounded in a bombing.

Colon Chris Garver, a spokesperson for the international coalition, acknowledged that he had heard rumors of Baghdadi’s death, but he has “nothing to confirm this at this time”.

Baghdadi built up a strong reputation for secrecy. There are few known pictures of him and rumors regularly circulate regarding his whereabouts.

Multiple Motives for North African Jihadists

Why are so many North Africans keen to join the Jihadist effort? What stands behind this massive mobilization and readiness of young people to leave everything behind, cut their ties with family, disappear from their milieu without any announcement, smuggle themselves to the Syrian or Iraqi arenas (at great risk from their respective countries and under the constant watch of the security and intelligence agencies that monitor movements to and from the Middle East), and of course ready to sacrifice their lives in Syria, Iraq or in Europe for a cause fought thousands of kilometers away from their native North African country?

The explanation may be found in the following:

  1. North Africans have always wanted to be close to the “core” of the Middle East, feeling marginalized by historical events taking place in the Arab-Israeli conflict away from their region. North African states sent expeditionary troops to the Middle East after the 1967 Six-Day War to take part in the battle against Israel. Morocco sent two brigades (one was deployed in the Syrian Golan Heights and one in Egypt) while Algeria sent a brigade to Egypt. Those troops were actively engaged in combat during the Yom Kippur 1973 war against Israel and suffered heavy losses.

  1. North Africa is the setting for developing jihadist movements partly inspired by the war in Afghanistan and by the Khomeini revolution in Iran. But the unsatisfied needs of young, mostly unemployed people, left behind by the process of modernization and westernization and an unwillingness to accept the reality of power also plays a role. The disintegration of Libya after Qaddafi and the takeover of the country by jihadist militias have served as a contagious example to North African jihadists, meaning that what has been achieved in nearby Libya by jihadists could be repeated in Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria.

  1. The North Africa states have been exposed for a long time to Wahhabi proselytism that is opposed to the “moderate” Sufi Islam practiced in North Africa. Morocco and Tunisia were tolerant to the Wahhabi theological invasion while Algeria chose to fight it by all means. Identification with the Wahhabi ideology is only one step from joining soul mates to fight the “heretics” leading “heretic” regimes. Oddly enough, northern Morocco, which seems to be the area that has drawn the most jihadists to the Islamic State, is a region where strict Salafi sheiks dominate the religious scene and do identify openly with the ideology of the Islamic State and its targets.

  1. There is also an economic factor one cannot ignore. Most of the Moroccans who have joined the Islamic State come from the north of the country that has been neglected by former King Hassan II. The northern region of Morocco is hit by severe unemployment and subsequent radicalization. The fact that the Islamic State pays salaries that cannot even be imagined in Morocco is a factor in the enrollment of jihadists by the Islamic State.

  1. Finally, one cannot under-estimate the geographic factor: North Africa is very close to southern Europe and the jihadist network existing there, which makes coordination and recruitment easier. Those networks appeared first during the second Iraqi war (2003) when people thought it acceptable to travel to Iraq and join the fight against the “American aggressor.”

What Are the Ultimate Objectives of the Islamic State?

The answer is simple, and it lies in the publications of the Islamic State: establish an Islamic Caliphate that would restore Islam’s historical splendor. According to the maps published by the Islamic State, the Islamic State will include Andalus in the West (Spain) and stretch from North Africa — the Maghreb — (and the whole of West Africa including Nigeria) through Libya and Egypt (considered one geographical unit – Ard Al-Kinana), include what is called in Islamic state terminology, Ard el Habasha (from Cameroon in  the west, Central Africa, the Lake Victoria states, Ethiopia and Somalia), the Hijaz (Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States), Yemen until Khurasan in the east – defined as the Central Asian Muslim Republics beginning with Azerbaijan and including Pakistan and the southwest part of China, land of the Muslims of Turkish origin, the Uyghurs. The Islamic State also includes Iran and Turkey (named Anatol) in their entirety and parts of Europe (mainly the Balkans, more or less conforming to the borders of the defunct Ottoman Empire with the Austro-Hungarian territories).

The Islamic State has made no secret who is its enemy: In an audio-taped message, Al-Baghdadi announced following his self-proclaimed caliphate that the Islamic State would march on “Rome” in its resolve to establish an Islamic State from the Middle East across Europe. He said that he would conquer both Rome and Spain in this endeavor and urged Muslims across the world to immigrate to the new Islamic State.

On November 13, 2014, exactly a year before the Paris terrorist attacks, a voice message attributed to Al-Baghdadi vowed that IS fighters would never cease fighting “even if only one soldier remains.” The speaker urged supporters of the Islamic State to “erupt volcanoes of jihad” across the world. He called for attacks to be mounted in Saudi Arabia—describing Saudi leaders as “the head of the snake” – and said that the U.S.-led military campaign in Syria and Iraq was failing. He also said that ISIL would keep on marching and would “break the borders” of Jordan and Lebanon and “free Palestine.” Al-Baghdadi also claimed in 2014 that Islamic jihadists would never hesitate to eliminate Israel just because it has the United States support.

The distillation of these warlike declarations could only mean a continuation of the IS war effort directed at:

  1. Toppling the Shiite regime in Iraq and containing Iran.

  1. Taking control of the Syrian-Turkish border.

  1. Reaching Tripoli in Lebanon to secure a harbor on the Mediterranean Sea and by extension to destabilize Lebanon.

  1. Toppling the Assad regime in Syria.

  1. Destabilizing Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Saudi Arabia.

  1. Destabilizing Europe and the U.S. through terrorist acts. Blowing up the Russian plane flying out of Sharm el-Sheikh in the Sinai and the Beirut and Paris terrorist attacks definitely fit in this IS strategy.

VIDEO: Iraqi Yazidi MP Breaks Down in Parliament: ISIL is Exterminating my People

Intro to J. O. Smith’s ‘In the Name of Humanity’

Edited by John R. Houk

August 17, 2014

As a Biblical believing Christian I place all other religions in a box of shunning. As a First Amendment believing and promoting American I believe each individual has the right to worship whoever or whatever they believe. However, because I believe in Religious Freedom does not mean that I will not point that which is particularly abhorrent to the Christian faith. I definitely am not a promoter of Multicultural Diversity that dilutes my Christian cultural heritage. And so I am often labeled a bigot.

Tackling contrary religious beliefs probably would be a multi-post project of which I am already in the middle of two. Allow me to say this as briefly as I can pertaining to Islam. Islam is not only an antichrist religion that focuses on eliminating Christians and Jews their Quran deceptively call the People of the Book, that particular religion especially represents everything that is destructive to the Western Culture that has led to the best rule of law document that has become the guiding light politically leading to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness – the United States Constitution. Because of this violent goal to force all humanity to submit to a man-created deity derived from a polytheistic god turning into a monotheistic religion, Mohammed the creator of Islam has set in motion a theo-political death cult that has forced its Liberty destroying upon a large chunk of the world.

The genocide going on in what’s left of Iraq under the control of ISIS (or ISIL) is what will occur whenever a purist form of Islam gains the reins of political power. The Christians and Yazidis have faced the brunt of this Islamic intolerance under ISIS. Most Americans know about Christianity. If you are anything like me, you know little to nothing about the Yazidis:

A historically misunderstood group, the Yazidis are predominantly ethnically Kurdish, and have kept alive their syncretic religion for centuries, despite many years of oppression and threatened extermination.

The ancient religion is rumoured to have been founded by an 11th century Ummayyad sheikh, and is derived from Zoroastrianism (an ancient Persian faith founded by a philosopher), Christianity and Islam. The religion has taken elements from each, ranging from baptism (Christianity) to circumcision (Islam) to reverence of fire as a manifestation from God (derived from Zoroastrianism) and yet remains distinctly non-Abrahamic. This derivative quality has often led the Yazidis to be referred to as a sect. (Who are the Yazidis and why is Isis hunting them? By Raya Jalabi; The Guardian; 8/11/14 08.46 EDT)

Knowing about the Yazidis is a bit more complicated than The Guardian synopsis. Here are a few places to get a more complete idea:

In the Name of Humanity

By Justin O. Smith

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, under the command of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, is evil incarnate, and, more than a threat to Christians and America, it represents a new global threat, which was a foreseeable consequence of arming the “rebels”, Al Qaeda, in Syria. Having burst forth as a product of the Syrian civil war and the U.S. premature withdrawal from Iraq on Obama’s orders, ISIS now seeks to expand the area it already controls, approximately an area the size of Great Britain, through violence and terror, beheading all unlike them – liberal Muslims, Christians, and Yazidis – raping the women and murdering entire families; they are destroying all who do not accept their vision of an Islamic state, their declared Caliphate, as they give them the ultimatum of “convert or die.” And now, this genocide of historic proportions demands that the U.S. and the free world exterminate the dire threat from ISIS through all the military might they can muster.

Obama, ever sympathetic to Sunni Muslims, more than likely illegally and surreptitiously armed the so-called “rebels” in Syria by late 2011 from Libya, as strong evidence suggests. Conclusive evidence from U.S. officials and Syrian figures reveals the CIA and U.S. Special Forces delivered weapons to the rebels, mostly Al Qaeda affiliates, around September 1, 2013, according to the Washington Post (9/11/13).

Many war weary Americans did not want to intervene in Syria’s civil war last year, including myself, since many of us, along with many government officials, believed Bashar al-Assad could be deterred and eventually removed through better alternatives, than arming the rebels, as Senator John McCain advocated. Now the very circumstances, of which some, such as Lt Col Ralph Peters, warned and America sought to avoid, have developed, and ISIS murder and mayhem cuts a swath across the Middle East, due to Obama’s unilateral actions.

Abu Bakr Baghdadi, the self-appointed Caliph of the Islamic State and a one-time prisoner at Guantanamo Bay detention camp, leads somewhere near 35,000 well-armed and trained jihadist warriors, and he has steadfastly worked to redraw the map of the Middle East. He swiftly led ISIS into Iraq around June with an army led by former Baath Party military and military intelligence from Saddam’s old regime. As they closed within 25 miles of Baghdad, they suddenly veered north and took Mosul on June 10th, and its dam on August 7th, routing the Kurdish Peshmerga (regional army) and creating tens of thousands of refugees in the face of their onslaught, mostly from the Yazidi minority.

At least 40,000 Yazidis took refuge in nine locations on Mount Sinjar, as ISIS hordes advanced on the town of Sinjar the first week of August, and approximately 130,000 more have fled to Dohuk, in the Kurdish north, and Irbil, once it became obvious ISIS was heading towards them; nearly all 300,000 residents have left, since ISIS Islamofascists stormed Sinjar on August 3rd and delivered their inhuman message of “convert or die.”

During an August 7th interview of Mark Arabo, a California businessman and a leader of Chaldean Catholics in America, when CNN’s Jonathan Mann seemed to be in disbelief and startled by his narrative, Arabo repeated his facts slowly (numerous videos support his account): “They are systematically beheading children. The world hasn’t seen evil like this for generations. There’s actually a park in Mosul where the actually beheaded children and put their heads on a stick…. They are doing the most horrendous, the most heart-breaking crimes you can think of.”

Also on August 7th, Obama answered the cries of many refugees, who had said “no one is coming to help”, with “Well, we (the U.S.) are coming to help”, as he authorized a series of bombing raids on ISIS positions and supply drops of food and water to those encircled and besieged Yazidis on Mt. Sinjar. Subsequently, 114,000 meals and 35,000 gallons of water were soon dropped by the U.S., followed by British cargo planes that dropped essential supplies and 16,000 more liters of water on August 11th.

As of August 15th (Friday), the ISIS siege was still in place and their perimeter had only withdrawn a couple of miles due to U.S. bombing, despite claims by Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel on August 13th that “we broke the siege at Mt. Sinjar,” although Yazidi and Kurdish Peshmerga rescue teams had been able to move some civilians on August 10th to Kurdish controlled territory, near Fishkabour.

Iraqi Member of Parliament and a Yazidi, Vian Dakhil, who has been in constant contact with Yazidi leaders trapped on Mt. Sinjar, was recently injured in a helicopter crash, as she attempted to reach her people. She suggested (8/15/14) that the U.S. military assessment team visited the only side of Sinjar accessible by helicopter, the north side, leaving the real plight of nearly 80,000 more Yazidis on the south side unseen.

“We are being slaughtered, annihilated,” MP Vian Dakhil declared, as reported by the Middle East Research Institute. “An entire religion is being wiped off the face of the Earth. Brothers, I am calling out to you in the name of humanity ___ In the name of humanity save us!” And she then soon broke down in tears.

The world is witnessing a genocide of Christians that promises to surpass the Turkish slaughter of two million Armenian Christians (1915-1918). One and a half million Christians present in Iraq in 2003 have now been reduced to less than 400,000, according to Ablahad Afraim, the head of the Chaldean Democratic Union Party, who based this assessment on international reports and church records; this rising genocide of Christians in the Islamic world, whether in Iraq, West Africa or South Asia ought to cause a global alarm that makes this the most significant human rights challenge of this era.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s parting message to his U.S. guards at Guantanamo Bay detention camp was a vow that “we’ll see you in New York,” and one of his spokesmen recently declared that ISIS will “raise the flag of Allah in the White House.”

Obama is truly a pathetic commander-in-chief whose curious actions, as well as his inaction, may well allow Abu Baghdadi to rebuild the Islamic Caliphate in the Levant and a terrorist base of operations, unless PM Tony Abbott of Australia, PM Stephen Harper of Canada, PM Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel and PM David Cameron of the U.K. unite to stop him, since they seem more inclined to do so than Obama. Obama seems to think a supply drop or two and a few F-18 airstrikes is enough.

Seeing what ISIS has done in Iraq, one quickly realizes they would gladly do whatever they could to deeply injure America again, and ISIS represents a direct threat to the U.S. and humanity. This is genocide pure and simple. America sees it and knows it as genocide, and as such, it is imperative that the U.S. and the world take vigorous military action against ISIS and all possible measures to prevent this massacre of minorities in Iraq. And with more than vigilance and 130 advisors, the U.S. and its allies should send 130 bombers and 130,000 soldiers to run ISIS into the ground, utterly destroy them and kill them mercilessly with extreme prejudice, just as they did entire Christian communities.

ANARCHY AND CHAOS

By Danny Jeffrey

June 17, 2014 2:06 AM

Fix Bayonets

I spend ten or more hours a day at my keyboard, with a standing record of thirty two hours non-stop, in an unending quest for truth in a world where truth has almost become an anachronism. I must admit getting what is almost a perverse thrill when I find a rare truth on the pages of a propaganda spreading liberal rag such as the New York Times. When they choose to reveal facts that are not complimentary to Obama the Deceptive we know that truth is near and that the walls are indeed closing in. The question then remains; who are those walls closing in on, Obama, or us?

From The New York Times…June 14, 2014
Rebels’ fast strike in Iraq was years in the making

Excerpt:

With just a few thousand fighters, the group’s lightning sweep into Mosul and farther south appeared to catch many Iraqi and American officials by surprise. But the gains were actually the realization of a years long strategy of state building that the group itself promoted publicly.

And…

In 2007 the group published a pamphlet laying out it vision for Iraq. It cited trends in globalization as well as the Qur’an in challenging modern notions of statehood as having absolute control over territory. Mr. Fishman referred to the document as the “Federalist Papers” for what is now ISIS.

In regards to my first highlight above, Osama bin Laden announced that he was declaring war on the United States. Our intelligence gathering groups dismissed his announcement as having come from someone who had spent too much time out in the desert sun. 911 proved them to be mistaken and for that error we paid a very dear price.

Now, as history repeats itself, an offshoot of bin Laden’s Al Qaeda again has telegraphed their intent only to be disregarded as was their forebear. Again the warning was ignored and now the streets of Mosul are littered with headless corpses and crucified soldiers.

How, one might ask, can a mere 800 terrorists engage and defeat two divisions of Iraqi military, armed and trained by the U.S. military? For that answer we need to look to the second highlight above. ‘Trends in globalization’. George Patton would have laughed at such a scenario, blasted through the ISIS ranks and personally shot their leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, but then Patton was not a globalist, and one such as he would have ruined the whole plan; for there is a Globalist plan and it is nothing short of being both diabolical and brilliant.

Many mistakenly believe that Obama is a Muslim but if you will but apply a bit of logic that belief will go up in smoke. True, Obama was raised within the Muslim culture for a brief time. He knows their ways and knows what to say to please them, or perhaps I should say he knows how to manipulate them, and manipulate them he does, all for the sake of the plan that is being enacted by George Soros and his fellow globalists. They plan to bring down all of western civilization with worldwide Anarchy and Chaos.

Think back to Obama’s now infamous Cairo speech. Being the leader of the most powerful nation in the world does come with its benefits. The Muslim Brotherhood had long been banned from Egypt but when Obama insisted that they be in attendance as he addressed the Egyptian people, Mubarak acquiesced. Thus began the Arab Spring and we all know how that has turned out.

Mubarak, strongman leader of Egypt, was unseated, replaced by Morsi of the MB and Egypt fell into total disarray. Now Morsi has in turn been replaced by Sisi and once again Egypt is led by a strongman. What was gained? Nothing. What has ensued? Anarchy and Chaos.

Look to Libya. The Joint Chiefs of Staff all advised against our becoming involved on the side of Al Qaeda. They were overruled by Obama’s female advisers, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, and Samantha Power (All close knit associates of George Soros). We became involved and consider what has happened since. Qaddafi was anti-Al Qaeda and he was murdered. We lost an Ambassador and three good men, and the Al Qaeda flag was hoisted in victory, and another nation succumbed to Anarchy and Chaos.

Take a look at Syria. Once again we have sided with terrorists as they attempt an overthrow of that nation, also ruled by another strongman regime. That episode took us to the abyss of brinkmanship with Russia and Obama timidly retreated. Syria’s strongman is still in power but much of the nation is beset by Anarchy and Chaos.

Meanwhile, the most ruthless band of terrorists yet are invading and conquering vast swathes of Iraq, the nation that Obama abandoned. Still more mass murder, rape, crucifixions, Anarchy and Chaos...

Do you see a common link?

Let us go one step farther. We have been supplying arms and ammunition to the terrorists who were trying to unseat Assad in Syria. We left Iraq, fully aware of the fact that they were not yet fully prepared to maintain that government on their own. Now those we supplied in Syria have taken it upon themselves to ‘liberate’ Iraq and so a new crisis is in play.

Factor in the reality that our long time enemy, Iran, is now offering to help defend Iraq from ISIS, while Maliki is asking the U.S. for help. No irony could be greater than our fighting alongside a long term enemy to save a nation we abandoned from a group of terrorists we have long supplied. Anarchy and Chaos at its very finest.

My friends, I have long ago given up on the effort to wake up those Americans who are still in a daze. I simply do not have that much time to waste. Instead I direct my efforts toward those who are largely aware of the dangers we face. The following links are quite indicative of the totally insane position in which we find ourselves. Please do follow these links. I shall continue to post excerpts to indicate the importance of what you will find within.

Fox News … June 16, 2014
State Department warned Iran was aiding Iraq militias, now weighs possible alliance

Excerpt:

The Iranian government, which the White House is now looking to as a possible partner to help counter the insurgency threatening to split Iraq, was cited just months ago by the Obama administration’s own State Department as a prime instigator in that country.

Counterterrorism officials warned about Iran’s meddling in Iraq as part of its report on state sponsors of terrorism.

“Despite its pledge to support Iraq’s stabilization, Iran trained, funded, and provided guidance to Iraqi Shia militant groups,” the report said.

Washington Free Beacon … June 16, 2014
State Dept. ignored warnings of Iranian efforts to destabilize Iraq

Excerpt:

State Department counterterrorism officials warned in late April that Iran had “trained, funded, and provided guidance” to ethnic Iraqi terror groups bent on destabilizing the country.

The April warning appears to directly contradict and undermine comments last week by a State Department spokeswoman claiming that the United States and Iran have a “shared interest.”

Jihad Watch … June 16, 2014
Kerry: US open to working with Iran against Sunni Jihadists in Iraq

Excerpt:

These are, mind you, the same Sunni Jihadists whose friends and allies the U.S. is arming in Syria. The incoherence of the Obama foreign policy is reaching comic proportions. It is now possible for a man to be a freedom fighter and receive American assistance in Syria, and then cross over the (Bulldozed) border into Iraq and be regarded as an “extremist” and a “terrorist”. All of this proceeds from the Washington establishment’s unshakable unwillingness to examine the ideology and belief system motivating the Jihadists.

Reuters … June 16, 2014
U.S. considers air strikes on Iraq, holds talks with Iran

Excerpt:

President Barrack Obama considered options for military action to support Iraq’s besieged government on Monday, and U.S. and Iranian officials held talks to stabilize the region, which has been roiled by the advance of Sunni rebels toward Baghdad.

Many who probably spend fifteen minutes a week on the internet are totally convinced that Obama is incompetent. Nothing could be farther from the truth, for the fact of the matter is that this nation is now orchestrating Anarchy and Chaos worldwide, and it is doing so by design.

No one could be wrong on all issues all of the time. The law of averages tells us that one will be right fifty percent of the time without even trying. To be consistently and dangerously wrong on everything takes careful planning.

Others believe Obama to be a Muslim intent on establishing a new 21st century Caliphate. They could not be more mistaken. Hussein Obama has no loyalty toward Islam; a commonality yes, loyalty none. His long term affiliations have been communism even to the Chicago church that he attended; not a mosque.

They believe that Obama’s vast involvement in Middle Eastern affairs prove him to be a Muslim. Let us look to our southern border and the administration’s efforts to promote amnesty. Does that prove that Obama is a Mexican? Better still think back to Fast and Furious. Does that prove that he is not only a Mexican but also a member of the Mexican drug cartels?

Consider his racist agenda. Does that prove him to be a black man? Most certainly not, as we all know him to be a mulatto. All that his racist actions proves is that he is anti-whites. Does his attacks on big business prove that he supports the little man or is simply anti big business; unless of course those in big business join him in his crony capitalist agenda?

What of education? The liberals tells us that poor black people living in ghettos have no chance because we deny them a decent education. Anyone heard of Common Core, that will deny an education to all? And of energy independence, a long sought condition? Obama denies American oil companies the right to explore for oil in the Gulf while awarding contracts to foreign nations.

What of the Green movement? Obama is dumping billions of American dollars into that effort and the companies who receive this vast wealth promptly go bankrupt, producing nothing but helping to destroy our economy.

Such a list could go on and on but I believe that I have proven that his political moves do not necessarily mean that he is for something. Collectively the entire list above would indicate that he is against something and that something is the U.S.A. for everything he does is an assault on liberty and security.

Anarchy and Chaos! That is the plan as designed by George Soros and his followers and is what we see taking place around us and as chaos grows many will simply shake their heads in bewilderment and drop out.

Islam was a well-chosen group to advance the goals of the globalists. There is no group in the world that is so full of hatred for life and their fellow human being, but the simple fact of the matter is that they are to be no more than cannon fodder for the elite. We all see people such as Hillary Clinton, Samantha Power, Susan Rice, and John Kerry promoting Islam but do you believe that they are Muslims or that the three women I mentioned have aspirations of becoming the property of some Arabian warlord?

The plan to use Islam to disrupt the entire world was laid out well in advance. Obama made his Cairo speech in June of 2009 and began the Arab Spring.

The Clarion Project … June 13, 2014

Rand study finds: Number of Jihadists doubled since 2010

Now that anarchy and chaos is spreading worldwide and many who lack knowledge about the true intricacies of the plan are predicting Obama’s fall as the situation worsens. They are mistaken! None dare stand against him and his allies. The game is afoot and it will be played out, and if you think it bad now, wait until the true collapse is triggered. Then define Anarchy and Chaos.

Above I asked this question: ‘The question then remains; who are those walls closing in on, Obama, or us?’

I leave the answer to you.

The ISIS Threat that could LEAD to Global War

Isis 2

John R. Houk

© June 13, 2014

Isis (Ancient Greek: σις, original Egyptian pronunciation more likely “Aset” or “Iset”) is a goddess in Ancient Egyptian religious beliefs, whose worship spread throughout the Greco-Roman world. She was worshipped as the ideal mother and wife as well as the patroness of nature and magic. She was the friend of slaves, sinners, artisans and the downtrodden, but she also listened to the prayers of the wealthy, maidens, aristocrats and rulers.[1] Isis is often depicted as the mother of Horus, the hawk-headed god of war and protection (although in some traditions Horus’s mother was Hathor). Isis is also known as protector of the dead and goddess of children.

The name Isis means “Throne”.[2] Her headdress is a throne. As the personification of the throne, she was an important representation of the pharaoh’s power. The pharaoh was depicted as her child, who sat on the throne she provided. Her cult was popular throughout Egypt, but her most important temples were at Behbeit El-Hagar in the Nile delta, and, beginning in the reign with Nectanebo I (380–362 BCE), on the island of Philae in Upper Egypt.

READ THE REST (Wikipedia)

The above info is what I thought when I heard the word “Isis”. But I have learned that ISIS is the English acronym for Islamic State in Iraq and Syria – ISI and Levant or Greater Syria (Unexpectedly CNN has a great BackgrounderFox News though less detailed fills in some blanks). Not paying as much attention as I should have to the happenings Iraq. Apparently this ISIS terrorist organization has conquered enough territory in Iraq to actually form a nation to match their name.

ISIS Controlled Land - Iraq & Syria Map

From random listening on Fox News, it seems the collapse of the Shia controlled Iraq government that Obama has bequeathed will imminently collapse. I understand that if a collapse occurs it is because Obama refused to sign up for any commitment to maintain a military presence.

Which brings us to the third reason. When the Americans invaded, in March, 2003, they destroyed the Iraqi state—its military, its bureaucracy, its police force, and most everything else that might hold a country together. They spent the next nine years trying to build a state to replace the one they crushed. By 2011, by any reasonable measure, the Americans had made a lot of headway but were not finished with the job. For many months, the Obama and Maliki governments talked about keeping a residual force of American troops in Iraq, which would act largely to train Iraq’s Army and to provide intelligence against Sunni insurgents. (It would almost certainly have been barred from fighting.) Those were important reasons to stay, but the most important went largely unstated: it was to continue to act as a restraint on Maliki’s sectarian impulses, at least until the Iraqi political system was strong enough to contain him on its own. The negotiations between Obama and Maliki fell apart, in no small measure because of a lack of engagement by the White House. Today, many Iraqis, including some close to Maliki, say that a small force of American soldiers—working in non-combat roles—would have provided a crucial stabilizing factor that is now missing from Iraq. Sami al-Askari, a Maliki confidant, told me for my article this spring, “If you had a few hundred here, not even a few thousand, they would be coöperating with you, and they would become your partners.” President Obama wanted the Americans to come home, and Maliki didn’t particularly want them to stay. (You Really Should Read this Entire article – IN EXTREMISTS’ IRAQ RISE, AMERICA’S LEGACY; By DEXTER FILKINS; The New Yorker; 6/11/14)

AND the Shi’ite Prime Minister Maliki disbanded the Sunni Muslim militias that formed a loose confederation that helped the U.S. Military strategy of The Surge led by then General Petraeus to eradicate the al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) terrorists in Dunbar Province thus for one brief moment uniting Sunnis and Shias into a united Iraq. Maliki’s Shi’ite domination agenda resulted in the Sunni Militias (Sahwa Militias) in not finishing the AQI eradication. The Sunnis again began to trust the Islamic terrorists more than the Shi’ite dominated government of PM Nouri al-Maliki. AQI evolved into ISIS under the leadership of a still enigmatic Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (perhaps a pseudonym for Ibrahim Ali al-Badri). AND I do mean enigmatic. Here are four newspapers profiling al-Baghdadi and all four have similarities but each has information that the other does not – one American and three British newspapers:

1)     The Telegraph – 6/11/14

2)     BBC – 6/11/14

3)     The Guardian – 6/12/14

4)     Miami Herald – 6/13/14

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi 2

The existence of a new Arab nation, that is ultimately psycho Sunni version of Iran’s psycho Shia-Mullocracy, has HUGE geopolitical implications for the Middle East region. The players of these Middle East implications have an extreme volatility between Iran, Sunni ISIS, Shia Iraq, Syria – Assad’s Shia-Alawite government and Sunni Syrian Rebel controlled land, Lebanon as ran by Hezbollah, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and foremost as the current bastion of Liberty and protector of Israel – the USA. There are two other regional powers that probably would be forced to choose sides and that is Turkey and Egypt. I am unsure of the level of involvement Turkey and Egypt will play; however the area is so volatile a decision of importance would have to be made by those two Muslim nations.

Due to Russia’s increasing entanglements with Iran in the sale of military hardware and nuclear technology I suspect they will become involved if for no other reason than to be a thorn to the USA.

Communist China has also developed a National Interest in Iranian resources so you can be sure they will weigh in; however China has its own regional hegemonic aspirations and could possibly remain neutral and join a side that seems to benefit China more than the self-serving National Interests of a Middle Eastern regional power struggle. Indeed, China may test the waters by unleashing North Korean entanglements which would favor Iran’s agenda.

It is my opinion that Obama’s multiple apology tours making America look like a villain has a contributing factor for this President’s Foreign Affairs debacle emerging in Iraq.

All that being said, these thoughts came about from Gatestone Institute article I read from an email alert. The article’s title is quite thought provoking. Below is the cross post.

ISIS Threatens to Invade Jordan, ‘Slaughter’ King Abdullah

By Khaled Abu Toameh

June 12, 2014 at 5:00 am

Gatestone Institute

The recent victories in Iraq and Syria by the terrorists of ISIS — said to be an offshoot of al-Qaeda — have emboldened the group and its followers throughout the Middle East. Now the terrorists are planning to move their jihad not only to Jordan, but also to the Gaza Strip, Sinai and Lebanon.

Failure to act will result in the establishment in the Middle East of a dangerous extremist Islamic empire that will pose a threat to American and Western interests.

“The danger is getting closer to our bedrooms.” — Oraib al-Rantawi, Jordanian political analyst

Islamist terrorists in Iraq and Syria have begun creeping toward neighboring countries, sources close to the Islamic fundamentalists revealed this week.

The terrorists, who belong to The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria [ISIS — known as DAESH in Arabic] and are said to be an offshoot of al-Qaeda, are planning to take their jihad to Jordan, Lebanon, the Gaza Strip and the Sinai Peninsula — after having already captured large parts of Syria and Iraq, the sources said.

The capture this week by ISIS of the cities of Mosul and Tikrit in Iraq has left many Arabs and Muslims in the region worried that their countries soon may be targeted by the terrorists, who seek to create a radical Islamist emirate in the Middle East.

According to the sources, ISIS leader Abu Baker al-Baghdadi recently discussed with his lieutenants the possibility of extending the group’s control beyond Syria and Iraq.

One of the ideas discussed envisages focusing ISIS’s efforts on Jordan, where Islamist movements already have a significant presence. Jordan was also chosen because it has shared borders with Iraq and Syria, making it easier for the terrorists to infiltrate the kingdom.

Jordanian political analyst Oraib al-Rantawi sounded alarm bells by noting that the ISIS threat to move its fight to the kingdom was real and imminent. “We in Jordan cannot afford the luxury of just waiting and monitoring,” he cautioned. “The danger is getting closer to our bedrooms. It has become a strategic danger; it is no longer a security threat from groups or cells. We must start thinking outside the box. The time has come to increase coordination and cooperation with the regimes in Baghdad and Damascus to contain the crawling of extremism and terrorism.”

The ISIS terrorists see Jordan’s Western-backed King Abdullah as an enemy of Islam and an infidel, and have publicly called for his execution. ISIS terrorists recently posted a video on YouTube in which they threatened to “slaughter” Abdullah, whom they denounced as a “tyrant.” Some of the terrorists who appeared in the video were Jordanian citizens who tore up their passports in front of the camera and vowed to launch suicide attacks inside the kingdom.

Security sources in Amman expressed deep concern over ISIS’s threats and plans to “invade” the kingdom. The sources said that King Abdullah has requested urgent military aid from the U.S. and other Western countries so that he could foil any attempt to turn Jordan into an Islamist-controlled state.

Marwan Shehadeh, an expert on Islamist groups, said he did not rule out the possibility that ISIS would target Jordan because it views the Arab regimes, including Jordan’s Hashemites, as “infidels” and “apostates” who should be fought.

The recent victories by ISIS terrorists in Iraq and Syria have emboldened the group and its followers throughout the Middle East. Now the terrorists are planning to move their jihad not only to Jordan, but also to the Gaza Strip, Sinai and Lebanon.

This is all happening under the watching eyes of the U.S. Administration and Western countries, who seem to be uncertain as to what needs to be done to stop the Islamist terrorists from invading neighboring countries.

ISIS is a threat not only to moderate Arabs and Muslims, but also to Israel, which the terrorists say is their ultimate destination. The U.S. and its Western allies need to wake up quickly and take the necessary measures to prevent the Islamist terrorists from achieving their goal.

Failure to act will result in the establishment in the Middle East of a dangerous extremist Islamist empire that will pose a threat to American and Western interests.
