The Witting and/or Unwitting Muslim Lie

A Muslim commenter on my NCCR blog calling him/herself The Wannabe, disagrees with my portrayal of Islam as an Antichrist and violent religion. The Wannabe began a Muslim Apologist series of comments to a 3/8/16 post entitled, “We Don’t Worship the Same God”. The Wannabe began his comments on January 5, 2019:

behold how perverted they [Christians] are!” . I would like you to provide specifics of this verse, please.

I called out The Wannabe on Christians being perverted with this response:

In the Quran, any religious belief other than Islam is evil. Christians believe the same about their faith. The difference: Muslims ordered by Quran to kill unbelievers; Christians are taught Biblically to pray for their enemies & those who despitefully abuse you. Hmm … Which faith is perverse?

To which The Wannabe tried to be conciliatory yet firm in the defense of Islam:

The Wannabe says:

I understand your opinion. I would feel the same too. Except, your source of information is wronged. Our Prophet (pbuh) was taught to be patient to all the Kuffar (disbelievers). They threw rocks at him while praying. He never got angry, the most angry he ever was, he kept silent. Killing is one of the biggest sins in Islam. How can you say we have been taught, let alone ORDERED to kill disbelievers, that too, by the Holy Qur’an? Also, I would like to know which specific line from which specific chapter of the Book you have taken the reference of “perverted religion” from.

Islam, the religion of peace?

“Kill them [unbelievers] wherever you find them… And fight them until there is no more unbelief and worship is for Allah alone” (Quran 2:191-193).

“Strike off their heads and strike from them every fingertip” (Quran 8:12).

“Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties; in exchange for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they slay and are slain” (Quran 9:111).

“Truly Allah loves those who fight in His cause in battle array…” (Quran 61:4)

“The Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah” (Sahih Muslim 1:33).

MORE:

Now when ye meet in battle those who disbelieve, then it is smiting of the necks until, when ye have routed them, then making fast of bonds; and afterward either grace or ransom till the war lay down its burdens. That (is the ordinance). And if Allah willed He could have punished them (without you) but (thus it is ordained) that He may try some of you by means of others. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He rendereth not their actions vain (Surah 47:4, emp. added).

Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not aggressors. And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. And fight not with them at the Inviolable Place of Worship until they first attack you there, but if they attack you (there) then slay them. Such is the reward of disbelievers. But if they desist, then lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrongdoers. The forbidden month for the forbidden month, and forbidden things in retaliation. And one who attacketh you, attack him in like manner as he attacked you. Observe your duty to Allah, and know that Allah is with those who ward off (evil) (Surah 2:190-194, emp. added).

Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you; but it may happen that ye hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that ye love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, ye know not. They question thee (O Muhammad) with regard to warfare in the sacred month. Say: Warfare therein is a great (transgression), but to turn (men) from the way of Allah, and to disbelieve in Him and in the Inviolable Place of Worship, and to expel his people thence, is a greater with Allah; for persecution is worse than killing. And they will not cease from fighting against you till they have made you renegades from your religion, if they can (Surah 2:216-217, emp. added).

Freedom from obligation (is proclaimed) from Allah and His messenger toward those of the idolaters with whom ye made a treaty: Travel freely in the land four months, and know that ye cannot escape Allah and that Allah will confound the disbelievers (in His guidance). And a proclamation from Allah and His messenger to all men on the day of the Greater Pilgrimage that Allah is free from obligation to the idolaters, and (so is) His messenger. So, if ye repent, it will be better for you; but if ye are averse, then know that ye cannot escape Allah. Give tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom to those who disbelieve. Excepting those of the idolaters with whom ye (Muslims) have a treaty, and who have since abated nothing of your right nor have supported anyone against you. (As for these), fulfill their treaty to them till their term. Lo! Allah loveth those who keep their duty (unto Him). Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful (Surah 9:1-5, emp. added).

Additional allusions to warfare in the Quran are seen in the surah, “The Spoils,” dated in the second year of the Hijrah (A.D. 623), within a month after the Battle of Badr:

And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah…. If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them…. And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah’s purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside them whom ye know not…. O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there be of you twenty stedfast they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a hundred stedfast they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are a folk without intelligence…. It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land. Ye desire the lure of this world and Allah desireth (for you) the Hereafter, and Allah is Mighty, Wise. Had it not been for an ordinance of Allah which had gone before, an awful doom had come upon you on account of what ye took. Now enjoy what ye have won, as lawful and good, and keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful (Surah 8:39,57,59-60,65,67-69, emp. added; cf. 33:26).

… No wonder a substantial number of Muslims manifest a maniacal, reckless abandon in their willingness to die by sacrificing their lives in order to kill as many “infidels” (especially Israelis and Americans) as possible. They have read the following:

Now when ye meet in battle those who disbelieve, then it is smiting of the necks…. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He rendereth not their actions vain. He will guide them and improve their state, and bring them in unto the Garden[Paradise—DM] which He hath made known to them (Surah 47:4-6, emp. added).

O ye who believe! Be not as those who disbelieved and said of their brethren who went abroad in the land or were fighting in the field: If they had been (here) with us they would not have died or been killed…. And what though ye be slain in Allah’s way or die therein? Surely pardon from Allah and mercy are better than all that they amass. What though ye be slain or die, when unto Allah ye are gathered?…. So those who…fought and were slain, verily I shall remit their evil deeds from them and verily I shall bring them into Gardens underneath which rivers flow—a reward from Allah (Surah 3:156-158,195, emp. added).

Even if the vast majority of Muslims in the world reject violence and refrain from terrorist activity (which would appear to be the case), it is still a fact that the Quran (as well as the example of Muhammad himself) endorses the advancement of Islam through physical force. … (Violence and the Quran; by Dave Miller, Ph.D.; Apologetics Press; © 2005 Apologetics Press, Inc.)

Then go to TheReligionOfPeace.com for a list of 109 Surahs of wanton violence in the Quran all to promote the supremacy (NOT!) of Islam including commentary answering Muslim Apologists that utilize deceptive justifications:

Does the Quran really contain over a hundred verses that sanction violence?

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that speak of war with nonbelievers, usually on the basis of their status as non-Muslims. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called ‘hypocrites’ and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

Unlike nearly all of the Old Testament verses of violence, most verses of violence in the Quran are open-ended, meaning that they are not necessarily restrained by historical context contained in the surrounding text (although many Muslims choose to think of them that way). They are part of the eternal, unchanging word of Allah, and just as relevant or subject to interpretation as anything else in the Quran.

The context of violent passages is more ambiguous than might be expected of a perfect book from a loving God. Most contemporary Muslims exercise a personal choice to interpret their holy book’s call to arms according to their own moral preconceptions about justifiable violence. Islam’s apologists cater to these preferences with tenuous arguments that gloss over historical fact and generally don’t stand up to scrutiny.  Still, it is important to note that the problem is not bad people, but bad ideology.

Quran

Quran (2:244) – “Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things.” (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (2:216) – Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.” Not only does this verse establish that violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under attack at the time. From the Hadith, we know that this verse was narrated at a time that Muhammad was actually trying to motivate his people into raiding merchant caravans for loot. (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (3:56) – “As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.” (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (3:151) – “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority”. This speaks directly of polytheists, yet it also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly believed to be ‘joining companions to Allah’).  (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (4:74) – “Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.” The martyrs of Islam are unlike the early Christians, who were led meekly to the slaughter. These Muslims are killed in battle as they attempt to inflict death and destruction for the cause of Allah. This is the theological basis for today’s suicide bombers.  (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (4:76) – “Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…”

Quran (4:89) – “They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.” (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (4:95) – “Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home), except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame, etc.), and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred in grades those who strive hard and fight with their wealth and their lives above those who sit (at home).Unto each, Allah has promised good (Paradise), but Allah has preferred those who strive hard and fight, above those who sit (at home) by a huge reward ” This passage criticizes “peaceful” Muslims who do not join in the violence, letting them know that they are less worthy in Allah’s eyes. It also demolishes the modern myth that “Jihad” doesn’t mean holy war in the Quran, but rather a spiritual struggle. Not only is this Arabic word (mujahiduna) used in this passage, but it is clearly not referring to anything spiritual, since the physically disabled are given exemption. (The Hadith reveals the context of the passage to be in response to a blind man’s protest that he is unable to engage in Jihad, which would not make sense if it meant an internal struggle).  (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (4:101) – “And when you (Muslims) travel in the land, there is no sin on you if you shorten your Salat (prayer) if you fear that the disbelievers may attack you, verily, the disbelievers are ever unto you open enemies.  Mere disbelief makes one an “open” enemy of Muslims.

Quran (4:104) – “And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain…” Is pursuing an injured and retreating enemy really an act of self-defense?  (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (5:33) – “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement”(See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (8:12) – “(Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels… “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them” No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle, given that it both followed and preceded confrontations in which non-Muslims were killed by Muslims.  The targets of violence are “those who disbelieve” – further defined in the next verse (13) as those who “defy and disobey Allah.” Nothing is said about self-defense.  In fact, the verses in sura 8 were narrated shortly after a battle provoked by Muhammad, who had been trying to attack a lightly-armed caravan to steal goods belonging to other people.  (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (8:15) – “O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them. (16)Whoso on that day turneth his back to them, unless maneuvering for battle or intent to join a company, he truly hath incurred wrath from Allah, and his habitation will be hell, a hapless journey’s end.”

Quran (8:39) – “And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion is all for Allah” Some translations interpret “fitna” as “persecution”, but the traditional understanding of this word is not supported by the historical context (See notes for 2:193). The Meccans were simply refusing Muhammad access to their city during the pilgrimage. Other Muslims were allowed to travel there – but not as an armed group, since Muhammad had declared war on Mecca prior to his eviction. The Meccans were also acting in defense of their religion, as it was Muhammad’s intention to destroy their idols and establish Islam by force (which he later did). Hence the critical part of this verse is to fight until “religion is only for Allah”, meaning that the true justification of violence was the unbelief of the opposition. According to the Sira (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 324) Muhammad further explains that “Allah must have no rivals.”(See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (8:57) – “If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.”

Quran (8:67) – “It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he had made a great slaughter in the land…

Quran (8:59-60) – “And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah’s Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy.” As Ibn Kathir puts it in his tafsir on this passage, “Allah commands Muslims to prepare for war against disbelievers, as much as possible, according to affordability and availability.” (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (8:65) – “O Prophet, exhort the believers to fight…”

Quran (9:5) – “So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them.” According to this verse, the best way of staying safe from Muslim violence at the time of Muhammad was to convert to Islam: prayer (salat) and the poor tax (zakat) are among the religion’s Five Pillars. The popular claim that the Quran only inspires violence within the context of self-defense is seriously challenged by this passage as well, since the Muslims to whom it was written were obviously not under attack. Had they been, then there would have been no waiting period (earlier verses make it a duty for Muslims to fight in self-defense, even during the sacred months). The historical context is Mecca after the idolaters were subjugated by Muhammad and posed no threat. Once the Muslims had power, they violently evicted those unbelievers who would not convert.  (See also: Response to Apologists)

[Note: The verse says to fight unbelievers “wherever you find them“. Even if the context is a time of battle (which it was not) the reading appears to sanction attacks against those “unbelievers” who are not on the battlefield.  In 2016, the Islamic State referred to this verse in urging the faithful to commit terror attacks: Allah did not only command the ‘fighting’ of disbelievers, as if to say He only wants us to conduct frontline operations against them. Rather, He has also ordered that they be slain wherever they may be – on or off the battlefield. (source)]

Quran (9:14) – “Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people.” Humiliating and hurting non-believers not only has the blessing of Allah, but it is ordered as a means of carrying out his punishment and even “heals” the hearts of Muslims.

Quran (9:20) – “Those who believe, and have left their homes and striven with their wealth and their lives in Allah’s way are of much greater worth in Allah’s sight. These are they who are triumphant.” The Arabic word interpreted as “striving” in this verse is the same root as “Jihad”. The context is obviously holy war.

Quran (9:29) – “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” “People of the Book” refers to Christians and Jews. According to this verse, they are to be violently subjugated, with the sole justification being their religious status. Verse 9:33 tells Muslims that Allah has instructed them to make Islam “superior over all religions.” This chapter was one of the final “revelations” from Allah and it set in motion the tenacious military expansion, in which Muhammad’s companions managed to conquer two-thirds of the Christian world in the next 100 years. Islam is intended to dominate all other people and faiths. (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (9:30) – “And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!” (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (9:38-39) – “O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter. Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place.” This is a warning to those who refuse to fight, that they will be punished with Hell.  The verse also links physical fighting to the “cause of Allah” (or “way of Allah”). (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (9:41) – “Go forth, light-armed and heavy-armed, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah! That is best for you if ye but knew.” See also the verse that follows (9:42) – “If there had been immediate gain (in sight), and the journey easy, they would (all) without doubt have followed thee, but the distance was long, (and weighed) on them” This contradicts the myth that Muslims are to fight only in self-defense, since the wording implies that battle will be waged a long distance from home (in another country and – in this case – on Christian soil, according to the historians).  (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (9:73) – “O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.” Dehumanizing those who reject Islam, by reminding Muslims that unbelievers are merely firewood for Hell, makes it easier to justify slaughter. It explains why today’s devout Muslims generally have little regard for those outside the faith.  The inclusion of “hypocrites” (non-practicing) within the verse also contradicts the apologist’s defense that the targets of hate and hostility are wartime foes, since there was never an opposing army made up of non-religious Muslims in Muhammad’s time.  (See also Games Muslims Play: Terrorists Can’t Be Muslim Because They Kill Muslims for the role this verse plays in Islam’s perpetual internal conflicts).   (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (9:88) – “But the Messenger, and those who believe with him, strive and fight with their wealth and their persons: for them are (all) good things: and it is they who will prosper.” (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (9:111) – “Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Quran: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.” How does the Quran define a true believer?  (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (9:123) – “O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness.” (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (17:16) – “And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction.” Note that the crime is moral transgression, and the punishment is “utter destruction.” (Before ordering the 9/11 attacks, Osama bin Laden first issued Americans an invitation to Islam).

Quran (18:65-81) – This parable lays the theological groundwork for honor killings, in which a family member is murdered because they brought shame to the family, either through apostasy or perceived moral indiscretion. The story (which is not found in any Jewish or Christian source) tells of Moses encountering a man with “special knowledge” who does things which don’t seem to make sense on the surface, but are then justified according to later explanation. One such action is to murder a youth for no apparent reason (v.74). However, the wise man later explains that it was feared that the boy would “grieve” his parents by “disobedience and ingratitude.” He was killed so that Allah could provide them a ‘better’ son. [Note: This parable along with verse 58:22 is a major reason that honor killing is sanctioned by Sharia. Reliance of the Traveler (Umdat al-Saliq) says that punishment for murder is not applicable when a parent or grandparent kills their offspring (o.1.12).] (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (21:44) – “…See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win?”

Quran (25:52) – “Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness with it.” – The root for Jihad is used twice in this verse – although it may not have been referring to Holy War when narrated, since it was prior to the hijra at Mecca.  The “it” at the end is thought to mean the Quran.  Thus the verse may have originally meant a non-violent resistance to the ‘unbelievers.’  Obviously, this changed with the hijra.  ‘Jihad’ after this is almost exclusively within a violent context.  The enemy is always defined as people, rather than ideas.

Quran (33:60-62) – “If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in Al-Madinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbors but a little while Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter.” This passage sanctions slaughter (rendered as “merciless” and “horrible murder” in other translations) against three groups: hypocrites (Muslims who refuse to “fight in the way of Allah” (3:167) and hence don’t act as Muslims should), those with “diseased hearts” (which include Jews and Christians 5:51-52), and “alarmists” or “agitators – those who speak out against Islam. It is worth noting that the victims are to be sought out, which is what today’s terrorists do.

Quran (47:3-4) – “Those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord… So, when you meet (fighting Jihad in Allah’s Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives)… If it had been Allah’s Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost.” Holy war is to be pursued against those who reject Allah. The unbelievers are to be killed and wounded.  Survivors are to be held captive for ransom. The only reason Allah doesn’t do the dirty work himself is to to test the faithfulness of Muslims. Those who kill pass the test.  (See also: 47:4 for more context)  (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (47:35) – “Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost (Shakir: “have the upper hand”) for Allah is with you,” (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (48:17) – “There is no blame for the blind, nor is there blame for the lame, nor is there blame for the sick (that they go not forth to war). And whoso obeyeth Allah and His messenger, He will make him enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow; and whoso turneth back, him will He punish with a painful doom.” Contemporary apologists sometimes claim that Jihad means ‘spiritual struggle.’ If so, then why are the blind, lame and sick exempted? This verse also says that those who do not fight will suffer torment in hell.

Quran (48:29) – “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard (ruthless) against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves” Islam is not about treating everyone equally. This verse tells Muslims that two very distinct standards are applied based on religious status.  Also the word used for ‘hard’ or ‘ruthless’ in this verse shares the same root as the word translated as ‘painful’ or severe’ to describe Hell in over 25 other verses including 65:1040:46 and 50:26..

Quran (61:4) – “Surely Allah loves those who fight in His cause” Religion of Peace, indeed!  The verse explicitly refers to “rows” or “battle array,” meaning that it is speaking of physical conflict. This is followed by (61:9), which defines the “cause”: “He it is who has sent His Messenger (Mohammed) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam) to make it victorious over all religions even though the infidels may resist.” (See next verse, below). Infidels who resist Islamic rule are to be fought.  (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (61:10-12) – “O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment. That you believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know! (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of’Adn- Eternity [‘Adn(Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success.” This verse refers to physical battle waged to make Islam victorious over other religions (see verse 9). It uses the Arabic root for the word Jihad.

Quran (66:9) – “O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Hell will be their home, a hapless journey’s end.” The root word of “Jihad” is used again here. The context is clearly holy war, and the scope of violence is broadened to include “hypocrites” – those who call themselves Muslims but do not act as such.   (See also: Response to Apologists)

Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing… but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)”(Translation is from the Noble Quran) The verse prior to this (190) refers to “fighting for the cause of Allah those who fight you” leading some to claim that the entire passage refers to a defensive war in which Muslims are defending their homes and families.  The historical context of this passage is not defensive warfare, however, since Muhammad and his Muslims had just relocated to Medina and were not under attack by their Meccan adversaries.  In fact, the verses urge offensive warfare, in that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of their own city (which they later did).  Verse 190 thus means to fight those who offer resistance to Allah’s rule (ie. Muslim conquest).  The use of the word “persecution” by some Muslim translators is disingenuous – the actual Arabic words for persecution (idtihad) – and oppression are not used instead of fitna.  Fitna can mean disbelief, or the disorder that results from unbelief or temptation.  A strict translation is ‘sedition,’ meaning rebellion against authority (the authority being Allah).  This is certainly what is meant in this context since the violence is explicitly commissioned “until religion is for Allah” – ie. unbelievers desist in their unbelief.  [Editor’s note: these notes have been modified slightly after a critic misinterpreted our language. Verse 193 plainly says that ‘fighting’ is sanctioned even if the fitna ‘ceases’.  This is about religious order, not real persecution.] (See also: Response to Apologists)

Other verses calling Muslims to Jihad can be found here at AnsweringIslam.org. (Violence; TheReligionOfPeace.com [TROP]; ©2002 – 2018 Site developed by TheReligionofPeace.Com)

AND THAT IS AN INCOMPLETE LIST because you can read, TROP directs you to AnsweringIslam.org for more inherently violent Surahs in the Quran.

AND this cross post of TROP’s list on “Violence” is only an excerpt. The next subheading of the “Violence” post is “Hadith and Sira” on perpetuating Islamic violence.

One thing people are unaware concerning the Quran (even many Muslims). Muhammad’s words during the Mecca preaching BEFORE the Hegira (when Mo fled Mecca in fear of non-Muslim Arab animosity toward Mo’s criticism of polytheism) and Muhammad’s in the Quran DURING Medina and the CONQUEST of Mecca from Medina.

The Quran of Mecca is peace. The Quran of Medina (and return to Mecca) is about hate and kill Muhammad’s perceived enemies in the name of the moon-deity retooled as monotheistic Allah. A great summary of the Mecca/Medina Quran divide is from the pseudonymous Bill Warner:

In Mecca, the texts have nothing to say about jihad. So in Mecca we have a peaceful Islam, but in Medina we have violence. Both the Sira and Hadith confirm the peaceful nature of Islam in Mecca and its unlimited violence in Medina. (A Picture of Duality; by Bill Warner; Political Islam; 4/29/11)

Two key terms to understand about Muslim Apologists promoting Islam as a Religion of Peace: Duality and Abrogation. (See Also: a) Statistical Islam Part 5 of 9 – Abrogation and Dualism b) The Doctrine of Deceit)

Islamic duality allows contradicting concepts to both be correct and expounded authoritatively according to the circumstance of the occasion. BUT when push comes to shove, the Islamic ideology of Abrogation comes into play.

Here is the simplest to understand explanation of Abrogation: Muhammad’s Quranic words have a most valid component when contradictions are involved. Validity is measured by when Muhammad said something not what he said. All of Muhammad’s earliest sayings can be overruled by the most recent sayings. In other words, the peace/Mecca Quran is overridden by the violent/Medina Quran.

There is a problem in deciphering when the Mecca/Quran and the Medina/Quran are spoken. Why? The Quran is not put together in chronological order. The Quran is arranged by longest Surah to shortest Surah regardless of where and when the origin is. WikiIslam has arranged a chronological order comparing to the traditional (longest to shortest) that help you view what can be proclaimed abrogated – HERE.

Ergo, when The Wannabe tells you, “Our Prophet (pbuh) was taught to be patient to all the Kuffar (disbelievers).” He/she is wittingly or unwittingly (depending on the knowledge of the Islamic principles of Duality and Abrogation) IS LYING!

Intro to Justin Smith Thoughts on Dangers of Islam

John R. Houk

© May 16, 2018

Justin Smith has sent two articles, some Justin quotes and some photos demonstrating the religion of Islam is diametrically opposed to anything Western Culture and opposed to any religion that is NOT Islamic, particularly Judaism and Christianity. Justin makes clear that he is in the Counterjihad camp that the label “Radical Islam” is a huge misdirect. The entirety of Islamic doctrine displayed in the Quran, Hadith and Sira (one could include Islamic theological theologians respected by current Muslim theologians such as respected Islamic Theologian Ibn Taymiyyah (Of interest: Ibn Taymiyya: the father of modern Muslim terrorism?Ibn Taymiyya’s Theodicy of Perpetual Optimism) and influential Islamic treatises such as “Reliance of the Traveller” By Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri. Here is a Traveller” analysis.

You will quickly discover that Justin his little tolerance with Counterjihadists (or multiculturalists for that matter that claim true Islam is not a terrorist ideology) that try to distinguish Moderate Islam from Radical Islam. It is my humble opinion when Counterjihadists make the distinction, it is out of political correctness. The reality is the theological tool of Islamic Dualism enables a Muslim to follow any peaceful dictates from the Quran, Hadith and Sira. But what the knowledgeable Muslim will not tell you is the Islamic theological term of Abrogation (See Also: “David Bukay on Islamic Abrogation” posted 6/21/08) can be used to override any Quranic peaceful tenet by the simple fact of the date of the of the newer displaces the older. Hence, all a peaceful Muslim needs to know to transform into a terrorist is to understand the Islamic principle of Abrogation.

I like Justin’s intro to his submission; hence I am using an except from his submission email as the intro to his own thoughts.

Some Items of Interest on Islam and Middle East Troubles

It is right and proper that America stands with Israel, because most of the current uproar against Her is steeped in the Islamic hatred for both Jews and Christians and the Islamic nations’ desire to wipe Israel from the face of the earth. Muslim Arabs cannot and never will accept a Sovereign Jewish State in the middle of an area that they have claimed for Islam and Allah, and since Israel was under the occupation of the Muslim hordes of the Ottoman Empire for so many centuries, today’s Muslims across the globe believe that this conquest makes Israel theirs and Allah’s until the end of days.

I think many readers will find these most revealing in a variety of ways, and if We are ever to turn away the evil growth of Islam in America, We Must Educate Our Citizenry to Islam’s EXISTENTIAL THREAT and the LIES that Islam has used to insulate itself and hide behind.

For all men and women capable of using their own ability to reason — Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new and I’ll show you that these things were only Evil and Inhuman; such was his command to spread this Islamic ideology and the so-called “faith” — this so-called “religion of peace” — he manufactured and delivered by the sword and mayhem, kidnappings and slavery, chaos, rape and murder. ~~~ Justin O Smith

The Clarion Project is a worthless entity in the fight to halt Islam and the terrorism that accompanies it, so long as the Clarion Project continues using the term “Radical Islam” as if Islam contains any component that does not demand its own supremacy above all ideologies and religions.

Even Islamic scholars, the theologians of Al Azhar and the Mullahs of Iran — even PM Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, All Agree That There Is Not Any “moderate” or “radical” Islam. There IS ONLY ISLAM AS IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN FOR MORE THAN 1400 YEARS.

Islam is only “a religion of peace” so long as it and its evil and backward Sharia Law doctrines go unquestioned, unchallenged and accepted as infallible by the inhabitants of whatever domain it controls. Islam is only “a religion of peace” once all non-Muslims are either converted or murdered — in the streets, in their beds as they lay sleeping — trapped in cages and set on fire or hung from scaffolds and cranes, or simply decapitated and their heads placed on spiked poles in horrific fashion for the world to behold — ISLAM — in all its sick, perverse evil.~~~ Justin O Smith

US Embassy Move Helps the Fight Against Radical Islam

By MEIRA SVIRSKY

May 14, 2018

Clarion Project

A new road sign showing the way to the new US Embassy in Jerusalem (Photo: THOMAS COEX/AFP/Getty Images)

Today, the United States moved its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Israel’s capital city, Jerusalem. The move is significant – it marks a recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital city by the U.S. and an end to the dispute of its status by the world’s foremost superpower.

The move is also significant in the battle against radical Islam. Here are four reasons why:

  1. The move marks an end the era of appeasement of radical Islamists

Congress passed the bipartisan Jerusalem Embassy Act in 1995 which required the U.S. Embassy in Israel to be located in Jerusalem. It was unanimously affirmed by the Senate in 2017.

Up until President Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, U.S. presidents declined to act on the bill, citing security concerns. That was a code word for appeasement of radical Islamists (as well as other Arab nationalists, like the Palestinian Authority, which conveniently pulls out Islamist tropes [Blog Editor: This is me admitting to literary ignorance. I had to look up “trope.”] for violent jihad when it suits their purposes).

As it has been proven historically, appeasement has only led to the emboldening of violent Islamists and has been the impetus for broad-scale and unrelenting terrorism, both against Israel and the U.S.

(The opposite is also true. Far from causing a world conflagration as predicted by various elements which have traditionally taken the appeasement route, the recognition by Trump that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel passed with narry [sic] a whimper in the Arab world.)

The embassy move is a message to Islamists: There will be no more appeasement.

  1. The move puts Islamists on notice that the US president keeps his word

Former president Obama famously vowed the use of chemical weapons in Syria was his red line. When Syrian President Assad pulled out the weapons and used them on his own people, Obama reneged on his promise to take action, serving to embolden the Syrian despot even further.

That’s just one example.

World powers have already gotten the idea that Trump is a force to be reckoned with. One gets the idea that his saber rattling against North Korea was not a bunch of empty promises, as we have already witnessed substantial progress with North Korea, from their willingness to come to the table to talk about getting rid of their nuclear weapons to the release of political prisoners to the U.S.

  1. The move tells Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah and the rest of the Islamist world that the US is serious about standing up to them

Jason Greenblatt, a key player in Trump’s Mideast negotiating team, said the move “show(s) that America will always stand with Israel.”

Said another way, the move demonstrates in a dramatic way (i.e., going against the stance of the European Union) that it supports a country that actually fights radical Islam instead of giving it lip service.

Tiny Israel has risked war with Iran by not crossing its own red lines – which, at the moment, have to do with making sure that Iranian forces and their advanced weapons are not knocking on Israel’s borders or being transferred to Israel’s enemies like Hezbollah. To this end, Israel has repeatedly attacked Iranian installations in Syria and been willing to face the consequences.

Similarly, Israel is currently showing the world it will not back down when threatened by the Islamist terror organization Hamas on its southern border.

  1. The move is a way to get radical Islamists to accept reality and move on

Greenblatt also noted the move is “not a departure from our strong commitment to facilitate a lasting peace deal. Rather, it is a necessary condition for it.”

In other words, the Arab World needs to accept the reality of the State of Israel, make peace with it and stop using the issue as an excuse for not getting their own houses in order.

We see this has already happened in the Sunni states of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. Under tremendous and potentially disastrous threats from not only from their own radical elements but from Iran, these states have chosen to accept (and even embrace) the reality of the State of Israel, which they rightly believe can help them win these battles.

Too often these scenes of chaos and mayhem are staged and there are high tech cameras and film equipment operating behind the scenes, almost as though on a movie set.

If Palestinians managed to breach the fence, they will presumably kill and capture as many Israelis as possible, while calling it a “return.” If Palestinians are killed, Hamas can always blame Israel.

U.S. Muslim preacher: “Soon, America will be ours”

By Pamela Geller

May 13, 2018

Geller Report

White House with Muslim Terrorist Flag

“In a few centuries, in Syria, where more than 90% percent of the population were Christians, and in Iran where an overwhelming majority of citizens were Zoroastrians, the demography drastically shifted to majority-Muslim. Neither nation could have anticipated such a change.”

And here in the United States: “The number of Muslims in the US has increased by 40% in just five years — between 2010-2015 — while in the same period the non-Muslim population of the US has grown by only five percent.”

You see who is responsible for this: the man who was President of the United States during those years. He is the one who pursued reckless immigration policies that have placed the U.S. in this situation. He is the one who remains responsible for the great strife and violence that his actions will be bringing to America for generations to come.

“Radicalism: The Real Shock Was the Reaction of the Americans…,” by Majid Rafizadeh, Gatestone Institute, May 12, 2018:

“Soon,” said the letter, “America Will Be Ours”.

“Ours?”

The writer, it became clear, was an extremist Muslim in the U.S. who claimed to be a reputable religious preacher. With each new word, concern grew.

He pointed out, throughout the letter, the “sinful” ways of the West: dancing, drinking, dating…

He expressed disgust that most women did not wear the hijab or participate in prayer five times a day. Then he got straight to the point: “Ours,” he explained, represented Muslims like him.

The sentiment is hardly a new one. A person hears similar proclamations from many Muslim extremists throughout the years. The real shock was not letter but the reaction of many Americans after seeing it.

Such a thing, they said, could never happen. The writer’s words were “just bluster,” nothing to be taken seriously. Most surprisingly, they stated — honestly — that Muslims who speak of such intentions do not really mean what they say, so these threats should not be cause for concern.

The history of the two nations where I grew up — Iran and Syria — taught all of us there a big lesson about living in this kind of ignorance: the reality of how quickly a nation can be consumed by the philosophies of a religious state. An authoritarian and malicious regime, as exists now in Iran — the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism and brutal even to its own people — is something we cannot forget.

In a few centuries, in Syria, where more than 90% percent of the population were Christians, and in Iran where an overwhelming majority of citizens were Zoroastrians, the demography drastically shifted to majority-Muslim. Neither nation could have anticipated such a change.

While many may underestimate the radical preacher’s claims that “Soon, America Will Be Ours”, for extremist Muslims these beliefs are strongly and deeply rooted.

Many extremists believe that their religious desire — for a “Muslim takeover of the White House, a directive from Muhammad himself ” — is coming true in the US. Religiously speaking, for these Muslims, ruling America is Allah’s (God’s) word, a sacred promise is coming to fruition.

A recent survey and demographic research released by the Pew Research Center found that Muslims will soon overtake members of other religions, including Jews, as the second-largest religious group in the United States.

This issue should not be taken lightly. What does being the second-largest religion in a country mean? Voters impact local and national politics, swing domestic elections, elect more representatives from the same religious affiliation, are influential enough to determine who the next president of the United States may be, and change the laws of the land. All it takes is a subtle shift in power for the entire society, political system and culture of a nation to be changed.

The number of Muslims in the US has increased by 40% in just five years — between 2010-2015 — while in the same period the non-Muslim population of the US has grown by only five percent. This means that the Muslim population is growing almost eight times faster than the non-Muslim population in the US….

Pamela Geller’s shocking new book, “FATWA: HUNTED IN AMERICA” is now available on Amazon. It’s Geller’s tell all, her story – and it’s every story – it’s what happens when you stand for freedom today. Buy it. Now. Here.

I have lived in the great State of Oklahoma off and on since I came to attend a Bible school (now a Bible college) since 1981. In those days Oklahoma was known as the buckle of Bible belt. Without much coverage by the Leftist Mainstream Media, Oklahoma now has a huge infiltration of Radical Islamic theopolitical ideology. The first part of this post addresses my concerns about Islam in general. The second part of this is a cross post of a Counter Jihad Report reposting of a FrontPageMag.com title, “REALISM ABOUT THE JIHAD THREAT IN OKLAHOMA”.

I find this a bit disturbing. And yes, I still stand by the First Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The thing is that I am a constitutional Originalist. This means I give more weight to the Founding Fathers’ Original Intent of America’s Constitution than to the Living Constitution transmutations of a more activist SCOTUS. As such a Founding Father – whether Christian, Deist or Atheist – believed at the very least the principles of morality and societal action in the Bible was the best pattern for a good America focused on people rather than the power of government.

Quite contrary from the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights, Islamic principles demand an active supremacism over all religions and ideologies separate from Islam which must be suppressed first by peace, failing peace then with violence even lethal if the need arises.

Hence on a political level I find the Islam of the Quran, Hadith and Sira to be quite contrary to American Constitutional Liberty and Freedom. On a personal level Islam’s tenets in its Quran, Hadith and Sira are both Anti-Christian and Anti-Semitic justifying the murder of those adherents specifically who do not submit to the supremacy of Islam. If or when a Muslim or Islamic Cleric tells that I am lying and then quotes the Quran about Islam is peace or Muslims are instructed to respect the People of the Book (i.e. Jews and Christians) or that there is no compulsion of religion in Islam; that Muslim is either ignorant of their own theology or are cognizant and are out right deceiving you. The key to Muslim ignorance or deception is the Islamic tenet of Abrogation. The term Abrogation simply means the words in the Quran attributed to Muhammad during the early Mecca preaching days can be ruled inapplicable to situation that requires the understanding Muhammad had after fleeing to Medina. It was in and after Medina that Muhammad became a murderous plundering sex-slaving pedophile. Those Medina suras abrogate the early Mecca suras when a theopolitical decision is required that benefits Islam.

And so my fellow Oklahomans (AND Americans) wake-up to the danger that Islam represents!

Realism About the Jihad Threat in Oklahoma

The Counter Jihad Report

oklahoma-state-rep-john-bennett

Oklahoma State Rep. John Bennett ventures where few dare to tread.

In an age of near-universal denial and willful ignorance at the highest levels about the ideological roots, nature and magnitude of the jihad threat, it is as unusual as it is refreshing to find lawmakers at any level who are willing to approach the problem honestly. State Representative John Bennett of Oklahoma, a Marine and combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, is one of an all-too-rare breed.

On Tuesday, Bennett held an “Interim Study” on “the current threat posed by radical Islam and the effect that Shariah Law, the Muslim Brotherhood and jihadist indoctrination have in the radicalization process in Oklahoma and America.” In his request to hold this study, he explained: “This will be a study of the current threat posed by radical Islam and the effect that Shariah Law, the Muslim Brotherhood and jihadist indoctrination have in the radicalization process in Oklahoma and America.”

This kind of study should have been held not just in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, but in the U.S. House, and Senate as well. That such an idea is inconceivable is an indication of the fix we’re in. And the situation is only marginally better in Oklahoma: nowadays the misinformation and disinformation about what we’re up against is so universal that anywhere the truth is told about this threat, there is significant pushback from the allies and enablers of jihad and Islamic supremacism.

And so it was in Tulsa on Tuesday. The interim study featured testimony by former FBI agent John Guandolo and Chris Gaubatz, whose exploits as an undercover agent infiltrating the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) are chronicled in the eye-opening book Muslim Mafia.

Gaubatz and Guandolo presented evidence, including land records, showing that the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City (ISGOC) is owned by the Muslim Brotherhood group the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), that both CAIR, which has an active chapter in Oklahoma City, and ISGOC are Muslim Brotherhood organizations, and that CAIR has extensive ties to the jihad terror group Hamas, which styles itself the Muslim Brotherhood for Palestine. They pointed out that since Imad Enchassi, the imam of ISGOC, is a Palestinian and has all these ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, he likely also has links to Hamas.

Guandolo and Gaubatz did not base their case on innuendo and hearsay. They laid out FBI evidence, Muslim Brotherhood documents, and more, demonstrating that the claims they were making were based on solid evidence.

Predictably, however, the mainstream media, which we now know beyond any shadow of a doubt is simply and solely a propaganda arm for the Left and the Democratic Party, focused entirely on the presence of Adam Soltani of CAIR-OK and Enchassi. The Tulsa World ran a piece with the hysterical headline “State representative brands CAIR-OK, its director and a local imam as terrorists.” It quoted Soltani raging against Bennett: “Rep. Bennett is shamefully wasting taxpayer money to promote his own biased agenda. This hearing was a new low for Rep. Bennett, as his guests presented a biased narrative that achieves nothing more than demonizing and marginalizing the Oklahoma Muslim community.”

The World magisterially told its readers that “CAIR is a Muslim civil liberties and advocacy group working to enhance the understanding of Islam.” It didn’t see fit to mention that CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. There was not a word in the World report about how CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.) A California chapter distributed a poster telling Muslims not to talk to the FBI, and a Florida chapter distributed pamphlets with the same message. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates.

But the Tulsa World and other mainstream media outlets that covered Bennett’s study did not see fit to inform their readers of any of that; instead, predictably enough, they portrayed the hearing as a baseless exercise in race-baiting and fearmongering conducted by a politician up for reelection.

John Bennett, and the people of Oklahoma, deserve better. There are legitimate questions about CAIR and ISGOC; Bennett dared to raise them Tuesday; for that, he is being subjected to a media lynching that is cynically designed to obscure the genuine concerns he raised – yet ever since a member of ISGOC beheaded a coworker in 2014, these concerns are more urgent than ever.

The media enablers of jihad must be decisively repudiated. Please email the Speaker of the Oklahoma House, Jeff W. Hickman, politely and courteously expressing your support for John Bennett and requesting that his hearing be just the first of a series. His email is jwhickman@okhouse.gov and his phone number is (405) 557-7339.

John Bennett has yet again stuck his neck out for freedom. In these hard times, those who are willing to do that have to hang together.

Realism About the Jihad Threat in Oklahoma

About The Counter Jihad Report

There is an urgent need for the public to become informed about the Global Islamic Jihad Movement. We must demand from our leaders that they become familiar with Islamic Law and jihadist ideology so that our counterterrorism policies can better protect us from this growing threat.

This blog is mainly a news aggregating site but also includes an extensive library of resources for studying Islam and networking with other Counter Jihad activists. My goal has been to pull from a variety of the most trusted and reliable sources to educate the public on the counter jihad movement. The many RSS feeds and counterjihad twitter feed in the sidebar are meant to provide a time saving jumping off point to access all the headlines and breaking news.

My Interest in Islamic Jihad stems from the 1983 Hezbollah truck bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in which my cousin, Ken Haas, was killed. Ken left a career as a philosophy professor to work for the CIA and was the Station Chief in Beirut. He and his wife of one year had READ THE REST

Nick Snyder, Sr. had an interesting comment to Jim Kouri’s post “GOWDY TO OBAMA: START PROTECTING AMERICANS FROM CRIMINAL ALIENS” found at LinkedIn’s Group – Return of the Republic. Nick is actually responding to an observation commented by Bev Farrar:

Didn’t Obama use the Bible when Roberts gave the oath of office incorrectly and then go into a private room to take the oath again. I’ve often wondered if his hand was on the Bible this time or some other book.

Nick’s thoughts on Obama’s oath of Office:

Nick (“Old Nikko”) Snyder, Sr. The answer Bev is…
The islamic practice of “Muruna” — using “flexibility” to blend in with the enemy or the surroundings.

Muslims practice muruna in the same way a chameleon changes colors to avoid detection. Muslims show no discernible signs when they are being deceitful because there is no feeling of guilt. In their minds they are doing exactly what Allah wants them to do to advance Islam.

Obama was simply being a “good muslim” when taking his oath, no matter which book he wore his oath upon.

This is not to be confused with Takiyya or Tawriya… which are respectively: dissimulation and concealing.

There is also Kitman, which is characterized by someone telling only part of the truth.

All in all, Obama [piss be upon him] has used all of these – and to good effect on most American Sheeple. They have accepted, and believe his lies in any and all forms.

The rest of us see him for what and who he is… and what danger he represents to this nation.

I’ve known about Taqiyya and Kitman for some time now. The Islamic transliterations of Tawriya and Muruna are new to me. So I thought I’d do a little Googling on the four Muslim terms which all have to do with fashion or another of lying or deception in Islam. Thus this post will not really be at all original but an old fashion copy and paste exercise to make Americans and Westerners aware of the practices institutionalized in Islamic theo-political ideology to spread their cult across the globe to the detriment of free people everywhere.

I am taking four websites from different post years not necessarily in order. I’m going to begin with the terms I am most unfamiliar with – Muruna and Tawriya. Then follow that with the two terms I am familiar with – Kitman and Taqiyya. (Take note there are various transliterations from Arabic to English and that is the reason one may see different spellings for the same word.)

Muruna

Islam Watch – 7/31/12 04:02

Muruna means using “flexibility” to blend in with the enemy or the surroundings. The justification for this kind of deception is a somewhat bizarre interpretation of Surah 2:106, which says, “If we abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten, We will replace it by a better one or similar.” Thus, Muslims may forget some of the commands in the Quran, as long as they are pursuing a better command. Muslims striving to advance Islam, therefore, can deviate from their Islamic laws in order to cause non-Muslims to lower their guard and place their trust in their Muslim counterpart.

At times, Muslims practice muruna in the same way a chameleon changes colors to avoid detection. Muslims will sometimes shave off their beards, wear western clothing, or even drink alcohol to blend in with non-Muslims. Nothing is more valuable these days to the Islamists than a blue-eyed Caucasian Muslim willing to engage in terrorism.

Another common way of using muruna is for a Muslim to marry a non-Muslim or to behave like a non-Muslim so their true agenda will not be suspected. The 9/11 hijackers visited strip clubs and bars during …

“Flexibility”.

Conservative Tribune – 10/10/14 7:06pm

Muruna is perhaps the biggest deception practiced by Muslims, as it allows them to be “flexible” regarding the commands of their faith in order to properly blend in with the society around them.  Muruna permits Muslims to shave their beards, wear Western clothing, listen to Western music, and even drink alcohol.

All of these deceptions go against specific commandments, as well as the overarching commandment against lying itself, that are found in the Koran.  But they are allowed so long as their use contributes to a greater goal or serves a greater commandment within the Koran, like spreading Islam among the infidels.

Americans who hold in high regard the founding principles and ideals of our country need to learn these terms, and …

ClashDaily.com – 4/1/15

Muruna is using “flexibility” to blend in with the enemy or the surroundings. Based upon: Surah 2:106, which says, “If we abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten, We will replace it by a better one or similar.” Therefore, Muslims have permission to “forget” some of the commands in the Quran, as long as they are pursuing a better command. Muslims striving to advance Islam, therefore, can diverge from their Islamic laws in order to cause non-Muslims to drop their guard and place their trust in their Muslim counterpart (this has been extremely successful in the West).

Illustration: Muslims practice Muruna in the same way a chameleon changes colors to avoid detection. They will sometimes shave off their beards, wear western clothing, or drink alcohol to blend in with non-Muslims. And Western converts are a great tool…there’s nothing more useful to Islamists than a blue-eyed, blonde-haired Caucasian Muslim willing to engage in terrorism.

Should we really be surprised about Islam’s deceit when the Quran boasts about Allah being the “master of machinations” (Sura 13:42), and “proficient at his scheming” (Sura 8:30)?

This can prove to be one of the most valuable lessons we learn …

Tawriya

Islam Watch

Tawriya is defined as concealing, and it could be called “creative lying”. It is OK to break the intent of the oath, as long as you don’t break the letter of the oath. (Reliance of the Traveler, sections o19.1 and o19.5) …

FaithFreedom.org

Deliberate ambiguity.

What this means is that it is OK to break the intent of the oath, as long as you don’t break the letter of the oath. (see Reliance of the Traveler, sections o19.1 and o19.5) …

Thus, as we can see, Muslims are empowered to lie, tell half-truths and dissemble about Islam and its doctrines (provided their “heart is comfortable with faith”) if doing so will give Islam an advantage – such as “defending” Islam/Mohammed, denying its/his more unpleasant attributes, or – as in the case above – giving a positive “spin” to Islam to make it more palatable to a non-Muslim audience.

This is why, to make any study of Islam, or to stand a chance of holding a valid opinion, it is vital to go back to the original documents.

But here, too, lies a problem. According to Islam, only the Arabic Koran is really the Quran itself – that is …

Conservative Tribune

Tawriya allows Muslims to “creatively lie” by being purposely ambiguous about the real meaning of what they are saying.

ClashDaily.com

Tawriya is defined as camouflage, and it’s also referred to as “creative lying”. Based upon (Reliance of the Traveller, sections o19.1 and o19.5) “It is acceptable to break the intent of the oath, as long as you don’t break the letter of the oath.”

Illustration: Suppose someone protests that Surah 1 of the Quran demeans Christians and Jews, because it is a request Muslims make to Allah 17 times a day to keep them from the path of “those with whom God is angry” and “those who have lost their way”. A Muslim might respond, “Surah 1 never mentions Jews or Christians.” He is practicing Tawriya, because while Surah 1 does not mention Jews and Christians by name, he clearly knows that the words “those” refer to Jews and Christians.

Kitman

Islam Watch

Kitman is characterized by someone telling only part of the truth. The most common example of this is when a Muslim says that jihad really refers to an internal, spiritual struggle. He is not telling “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth”, as witnesses are sworn to do in U.S. courts. Often, kitman results in a gross distortion of the truth. In the example given, the Quran uses jihad and its derivatives 59 times. Of those, only 16 (27%) could be considered “internal” with no object as the target of the struggle based on the context of the surah.

Another common form of kitman is to quote only the few peaceful passages from the Quran, knowing full-well that that passage was later abrogated by a more militant, contradictory verse. Here is an example:

“There is no compulsion in religion” (Surah 2:256) Early Medina

FaithFreedom.org

This is Taqiyya’s “little brother”. Kitman is just providing incomplete information.

A widely used example of kitman is when Muslims say:

whoever slays a soul, it is as though he slew all men” to show how highly Islam values human life (!).

However, put these verse fragments together with the start of the verse and the part omitted from the middle and the meaning changes:

For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soulunless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the landit is as though he slew all men”. (K5:32)

Now we can clearly see that this statement refers to the Jews alone (the people most reviled by Islam) and so does not apply to Muslims at all. Further …

Conservative Tribune

Kitman is a term that means Muslims are permitted to tell half-truths, or partial truths, while concealing the greater whole truth.  Discussion of “jihad” as being only an “inner” or “spiritual” struggle is an example of Kitman, as technically it is true that jihad refers to a spiritual struggle, but conceals the very real physical struggle that is also encompassed by jihad.

ClashDaily.com

Kitman is characterized by someone telling only part of the truth.

NOTE: It must be understood that there are two categories of Quranic verses: Pre-Medina (Meccan) and Post-Medina (Medinan). The Meccan or peaceful verses were written when Muhammed was trying to persuade followers in Mecca, from the Pagans, Jews and Christians. The Medinan verses were written after Muhammed was rejected as prophet by Jews and Christians. These are the violent verses which replaced the peaceful ones.

Here are examples that …

Taqiyya

Islam Watch

Takiyya is defined as dissimulation about ones Muslim identity. It comes from the verse in the Quran that says, “Let believers not make friends with infidels in preference to the faithful – he that does has nothing to hope for from Allah – except in self-defense (illaa an-tattaqu minhum tuqah) (Surah 3:28). This “self-defense” justifies dissimulation. Islamic Sharia Law provides, “When it is possible to achieve an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible, and lying isobligatory if the goal is obligatory.” (Reliance of the Traveler, Para r8.2) Examples include lying to protect Islam or a Muslim.

FaithFreedom.org

Strictly, Taqiyya is a Shi’a doctrine, but Sunni Islam has its equivalent “Muda’rat”. For some reason, in the West (at least amongst non-Muslims), the doctrine is more widely known as Taqiyya.

“This is the Islamic practice of “precautionary dissimulation” [i.e. lying] whereby believers may conceal their Muslim faith when under threat, persecution or compulsion.” (Oxford Dictionary of Islam).

“The word “al-Taqiyya” literally means: “Concealing or disguising one’s beliefs, convictions [not just religious], ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies at a time of eminent danger, whether now or later in time, to save oneself from physical and/or mental injury.”” (Abdul Hamid Siddiqui)

Comment: Thus, if you think you may be in danger physically or mentally at some point in the future from telling the truth, you are allowed to lie.

“al-Taqiyya is the uttering of the tongue, while the heart is comfortable with faith.” (Ibn AbbasComment: What this means is that you can say something “un-Islamic”, or lie, provided you retain Islamic belief.

Taqiyya allows Muslims to lie and/or conceal their true faith, feelings, thoughts, plans, and character, for the purpose of protecting themselves.  It is fully based on the Koran and is agreed to and practiced by all major sects of Islam.

Catastrophic Failure. And we keep going

I am on the email list of the World Truth Summit which is organized by Elsa Schieder of Canada. When I get an update I find interesting I like to cross post for my blog readers to digest. Elsa has sent out one such update.

Briefly for those who don’t know, the World Truth Summit gathers prominent Counterjihad experts from the realms of academia, journalism, blogging, politicians and so on. Elsa then provides provides a forum for a video Counterjihad seminar or interview.

This latest update focuses on the Stephen Coughlin book “Catastrophic Failure: Blindfolding America in the Face of Jihad”. Stephen Coughlin became a bit controversial even before Obama became President in that he was rather unceremoniously released from his Intelligence/Pentagon job that was prominent to inform the U.S. military, Executive Branch Intelligence agencies and law enforcement agencies as well as many politicians involved with Congress. Coughlin was the go-to guy for info on what makes Islam and Islamic terrorists tick.

Coughlin ran into problems when prominent Muslims in the same government affiliations began to protest Coughlin’s frank truth telling that obviously did not make Islam look like a religion of peace. Essentially he was fired by simply not renewing his employment contract.

Coughlin penned this in relation to his very important book which I found at Unconstrained Analytics:

The time has come to present this case to the American people.

I hope to offer to the reader the same quality of information and analysis that has been presented to national security professionals and which has been studiously ignored.

  • I will provide the necessary citations to Islamic law, both historical and contemporary, from books written in English for Muslim consumers of Islamic law (also called shariah), and will explain the key principles for interpreting these laws, particularly as they relate to non-Muslims and jihad.

  • We will go through, in detail, the Islamic legal concept of abrogation and how it impacts the actions of Muslims who have chosen to wage jihad.

  • We will examine the impact of Islamic scholar and Muslim Brotherhood ideologue Sayyid Qutb, and how his understanding of abrogation led to what I call “The Milestone Process,” which guides the performance of jihad for our enemies in the War on Terror.

  • We will discuss what is called the “Islamic Movement” and how the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and other groups oriented on the Milestone Process view themselves as unified by varying degrees against us.

  • We’ll examine the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation and see how their understanding of themselves as a kind of “Proto-Caliphate” may be accurate, even though our decision makers don’t even know they exist.

  • With this understanding of the rules and the players achieved, we’ll discuss how each of these groups works in accordance with Islamic law as they understand it, to the great detriment of those who fail to recognize the threat they pose.

  • We’ll examine the postmodern world of American national security policymaking, where fidelity to political correctness, the need for “balance,” and standards that put assumptions and social science theories before facts have left us dangerously exposed.

  • And we will examine how our failure to understand these factors has repeatedly led to tragedy and real loss of life, leaving America vulnerable to those who wish to destroy us.

I hope to show that returning to traditional standards of threat analysis—bolstered by common-sense professional standards and grounded in the obligations we have to support and defend the Constitution—will enable us once again to know our enemies and develop methods to defeat them. Catastrophic Failure. And we keep going

By Elsa Schieder

Sent: Mar 6, 2016 at 10:13 AM

Email From: World Truth Summit

Do I have anything to say that I haven’t said before?

There’s a book I’ll recommend: Stephen Coughlin’s Catastrophic Failure: Blindfolding America in the Face of Jihad.

The general outline has nothing new – for example, you’re not allowed to change anything from the Quran. Almost everyone knows that. But there are masses of details I didn’t know – such as, Islam has a triple lock system, like a maximum security prison. Lock one (as stated): if it’s in the Quran, and not abrogated, that’s the way things have to be forever. Lock two: if it’s become part of Sharia, whether or not it’s in the Quran, it must stand forever. Lock three: if Islamic scholars have agreed on something, whether or not it’s in the Quran or in Sharia, it must never be re-opened for questioning.

The first lock is enough to convince me that Islam is not open to reform – because to do so, you go against the Quran, and the punishment for that is murder. But then, two more locks. Heavy metal doors clang shut.

How do I feel about the triple-lock system? It’s good stuff to know – or we invite even more catastrophic failure.

What am I getting from Catastrophic Failure? Most of the time I act from knowing, with my head, that it’s vital to act against Islamization in its many forms. Reading this book makes me feel, on a gut level, how vital it is to do all we can.

How does Coughlin keep going, I also wonder. Before Obama, he was briefing top people in the American military, FBI, CIA. Now he’s an outsider – and he has kept going, doing, reaching anyone he can – with online videos, speaking engagements, and his powerful book.

It’s so important to be able to keep going, when the forces against us are gaining ground, sometimes massively – as has happened in Europe this past year with the mass influx of Islamics – and as is currently happening in Canada with the new pro-Islam prime minister.

This isn’t a story – like Star Wars, where we know that, somehow or other, all will be well in the end (until the next episode). This is life. The outcome isn’t set in stone. Even what happens next isn’t set in stone. Lots of surprises along the way – including good ones, like the emergence of Trump.

Anyway, today, not much to say. Except, as always, that it’s time to continue, to keep going and doing.

All the best to all of us who care and dare,

Elsa

If you’re anywhere near Montreal on Wednesday, March 9th, ACT for Canada is bringing in Paul Weston, a rising politician of a mainstream political party in England concerned with terrorist threats and mass migration. He was arrested in 2014 for quoting a passage from Winston Churchill’s book, The River War. How could that be? Churchill did not have a great opinion of Islam.

Countering Islamic Apologist with Truth

Insanity & Consequence of Islam

John R. Houk

Zaheer Baig posted a comment on my “About Page” on my WordPress blog called NeoConservative Christian Right (NCCR). Raig is an apologist for Islam and is pursuing the deceptive (or self-deceived) line that Islam is peace and goes on to include other Quranic lies pertaining that Biblical persons were and always have been Islamic:

Zaheer Baig | April 14, 2015 at 2:26 AM

Islam is a natural way of life that encourages one to give due attention to their relationship with God and His creation. Islam teaches that it is through the doing of good deeds and seeking the pleasure of God that souls find true happiness and peace. It is in this context that the word Islam derives from the root word “salam,” or peace.

God sent Prophets to teach mankind how to worship Him; starting with Adam, including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and the last of the messengers, Muhammad (peace be upon them all). The Islamic position is that all of these prophets came with the same message, that there is no deity worthy of worship except the One True God, known in Arabic as Allah.

Vlad Tepes found an interesting quote about Islam from the irreligious yet seeker of a self-satisfactory answer about that which is divine – Voltaire (1694-1777):

“The Koran teaches fear, hatred, contempt for others, murder as a legitimate means for the dissemination and preservation of this satanic doctrine, it talks ill of women, classifies people into classes, calls for blood and ever more blood. Yet, that a camel trader sparks uproar in his tribe, that he wants to make his fellow citizens believe that he talked to the archangel Gabriel; that he boasted about being taken up into heaven and receiving a part of that indigestible book there, which can shake common sense on every page, that to gain respect for this work, he covers his country with fire and iron, that he strangles fathers, drags away daughters, that he leaves the beaten a free choice between death and his faith: now this is certainly something that no-one can excuse, unless he came as a Turk into the world, unless superstition has stifled any natural light of reason in him. ”

Voltaire (1694-1788) Translation by SIMONXML from “ISLAM – Dem Untergang geweiht” by Thomas K. Luther, p.24. (Voltaire quote on Islam from the 1700s; Posted by Eeyore; Vlad Tepes; 4/16/15 – Bold text by Editor JRH)

Voltaire was no friend of Christianity or any revealed religion including Islam. And yet he was also wise enough to provide an astute observation of that theopolitical religion’s Quran. In the first paragraph I called Zaheer Baig deceptive; however I also gave him (actually I don’t know if the person is male or female) the benefit of the doubt by throwing in parentheses “self-deceptive”. I mention this because there are a number of Muslims that toe the line about “Islam is Peace”. Frankly if you examine the Islamic writings as did Voltaire you will discover that Islam is so far from peace that is laughable not to exchange “peace” for “violent”.

To be clear though deceiving or self-deceived Muslims will tell a non-Muslim (Islam labels as kafir) that Islam is peace and quote Quranic references that show a shining light of a religion that embraces a brotherhood who has an opportunity to submit and worship their deity Allah which in turns provides the assurance of peace.

At al-Islam.org there is a demonstration ecstatic relationship between Allah perceived as the Creator and that deity’s so-called creation:

We cannot understand certain questions in this regard unless we know what sort of relationship there exists between Allah and the creation. …

Anyhow the relationship between Allah and the creation is not of the sort that exists, for example, between father and son, that is between two things existing independently but related to each other. The sun and its rays are an example of a closer relationship. In this case also the sun and its rays are two different things, each having a separate existence to some extent. Man and his mental and physical faculties are an example of another kind of relationship.

Even in this case man and his faculties are not identical, though they are closely related. Unlike all these examples, the relationship between the existing things and Allah, Who is the source of their existence, is of quite a different kind and cannot be compared to any of the relationships mentioned above. At several places in the Qur’an and the traditions the relationship between Allah and His creation has been described as Allah’s glory. The Qur’an says:

When his Lord revealed His glory to the mountain. (Surah al-A’raf, 7:143).

There is a sentence in the Samat Supplication which says:

‘By the light of Your glory You revealed to the mountain and thus sent it down crashing…’

Meanings of Al-Hamd

We said earlier that the first possibility about the definite article in al-Hamdu is that it might be denoting comprehensiveness. In that case hamd (praise) would mean all praises, and the word ‘hamd’ as well as the word, ‘ism’ will have a sense of multitude. From this point of view ‘al-hamdu lillahi’ would mean that every praise that is made is that of Allah, for it is always the praise of some aspect of His manifestation or glory.

The sun manifests itself in its rays. Man is manifested in his seeing and hearing faculties. Allah manifests Himself far more clearly in every creation of His. Therefore, when anything is praised actually a manifestation of Allah’s glory is praised.

As all the existing things are the signs of Allah, they are His names. According to the second possibility we mentioned, the meaning would be diametrically different, and ‘al-hamdu lillahi’ would signify that no praise made by any praiser was that of Allah, although in this case also His glory is revealed in all the objects which are praised. But our praise cannot be absolute, nor are we capable of praising the Absolute Being.

Anyhow, as all pluralities are lost and absorbed in the unity of the Absolute Being, it may be said that from one angle even in this case it is the Absolute Being that is praised. The only difference is … (Light Within Me: Part 3.2: Relationship between Allah and His Creation; By Ayatullah Murtadha Mutahhari; Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Husayn at-Tabataba’i, and Ayatullah Sayyid Imam Ruhallah al-Musawi al-Khomeini; Al-Islam.org [Shi’ite website]; Copyright Ahlul Bayt Digital Islamic Library Project 1995 – 2015)

WOW! If you are a person searching for divine attunement with an eternal deity that provides inner peace and inner fulfillment this sounds alluringly enticing. You’ll figure out that this represents Shi’ite theopolitical theology which in full disclosure probably represents only about 10% of Islam, but the significance is the deception is an English translation of some big dogs from Iran. Also it is crap compared the part of Islam that abrogates these enticing words.

Take note the alluring enticement is also among the Sunni that roughly represent about 90% of Islam as well:

The Sunni ideology is directly related to the doctrine of monotheism, in which the relationship between God and the elements of nature, either humanity or even non-living beings, is that of a continuous state of complete submission and worshipping from the side of the created to God, the Creator:

[Blog Editor: This essay gives the translation for Quran 17:44 but mistakenly sources Quran 44:17. Or the essay author sets the Surah first than the chapter but I don’t think so.]

This relationship of servitude takes place without any merging or sharing of the divine nature by the Creator and his creation, but it takes place while God is completely outside of and beyond the world.

According to the Sunni ideology, God is God and man is man. Their relationship is very close. …

But this closeness does not imply identification between the two. Moreover, orthodox Sunni belief tends to hold a transcendental vision of Godhead in the way it believes that Allah does not resemble his creation. Allah describes Himself in Quran saying:

Quran 42: 11

This verse of the Quran encompasses that Allah is completely different from His creation in His attributes and actions.

Any created being, either man or any other element of nature, is liable to materialistic measures of existence, i.e. time and place which cannot be ascribed to Godhead. God exists but without a place. …

Although the relationship between God and man is that of servitude and submission to God’s will, it is not to be of subjugation or humiliation. On the contrary, it is of trust and respect. In the following long verse Allah the Almighty sheds light on the special and intimate relationship between Him and man amongst the other creations. He says:

Quran 2:30-34

We learn from these verses that God created humans with the purpose of being God’s vicegerents and trustees on earth.

According to the Sunni conception of God and His relationship with nature, nature is not the manifestation of God but of His infinite wisdom, capability and empowerment.

God has created nature in this perfect form as signs of His existence which guides humanity to strengthen their belief in Him. Allah the … (God, Nature, and Humanity; By Amani Aboul Fadl Farag; OnIslam.net; 2012/10/30)

Okay, I realize I probably overshared on Shia and Sunni subject pertaining to the allure of Islam, but you need to understand just how sugarcoated the deception is and the nature of the theology is taught to Muslim adherents who should know that the Quran, Hadith and Sira are very violent against Muslims AND toward Muslims who deviate from the submission standards that make Islam theopolitical.

The reality is Islam is a dualistic theological ideology that mixes the standard of political governance in its submission process. The short explanation for this dualism is that two opposite Quranic statements or commands are both correct depending on the circumstances presented to the Muslim.

Not only are there two Korans, Meccan and Medinan, that are different in tone and subject matter, but also the Koran has many verses that contradict each other.

Koran 2:219 says that Muslims should be tolerant and forgiving to People of the Book.
Koran 9:29 says to attack the People of the Book until they pay the jizyah, the dhimmi tax, submit to Sharia law and be humbled.

Which verse shows the true nature of Islam?

The Koran recognizes its contradictions and even gives a rule to resolve the contradictions. The later verse abrogates (supersedes) the earlier verse. This does not mean, however, that the earlier verse is wrong or in error. This would be impossible since the fundamental hypothesis is that Allah created the Koran and, hence, the earlier verse must be true or Allah would be wrong.

But, the earlier verse is true and still used. Abrogation does not negate the early verse. Indeed, the earlier “peaceful” verse that is abrogated is the one most apt to be used in public discourse.

… In Koranic logic, two statements can contradict each other and both are true. This is dualistic logic.

… Duality includes the special case of abrogation and it explains how the entire doctrine of Koran and Sunna work. It is not just the Koran that is contradictory, but all of the Sunna.

… (Statistical Islam Part 5 of 9 – Abrogation and Dualism; By Bill Warner; Political Islam; 12/2/10)

In an earlier post by Bill Warner on Islamic Dualism he writes:

The Koran defines an Islamic logic that is dualistic. … … so in dualistic logic. All of the doctrine refers to two classes of people–Muslims and non-Muslims, kafirs. The doctrine that applies to kafirs is political in nature and is rarely neutral or positive. The part of the doctrine that applies to Muslims is cultural, legal, and religious.

The second grand division of Islamic doctrine is into religious Islam and political Islam. It is surprising how much of the doctrine is political. Approximately 67% of the Meccan Koran and 51% of the Medinan Koran is political. About 75% of the Sira is about what was done to the kafir. Roughly 20% of the Hadith is about jihad, a political act.

… (Duality and Political Islam; Bill Warner; Political Islam; 10/26/07)

You should also read “Peace or Jihad? Abrogation in Islam,” by David Bukay.

Zaheer Baig further asserts that Islam is derived from the Arabic salaam (he/she spelled it “salam”) which means peace, BUT is it true that Islam is derived from salaam?

The word Islam derives from the Arabic triconsonantal root sīn-lām-mīm (SLM [ س ل م ]). Many different words are created from this root word by inserting different vowels between the three root consonants. Many English speakers wrongly assume that if two Arabic words share the same root word then their meanings are related when in reality the fact that some words share the same root word does not imply a relationship between the meanings of the words. For instance, all of these words are derived from the root S-L-M:

o   Islam = Submission

o   Salam = Well-being/Peace

o   (Derivation of) Salama = To be saved or to escape from danger (when refering to a female)

o   Saleem = To be saved or to escape from danger (when refering to a male)

o   Aslam = To submit

o   Istaslama = To surrender

o   Musal = Undisputed

o   Tasleem = To receive a salutation or becoming submitted

Many people have wrongly attempted to equate the word Islam with peace by showing that Islam, meaning ‘submission’, shares a root word with Salaam, meaning ‘peace’. But if such relationships between the meanings of Arabic words can be created then that would imply that there is a relationship between one of the derivations of the infinitive Salama, meaning the stinging of the snake or tanning the leather, and Salam, meaning peace; a relationship which obviously does not exist.

The Compendium of Muslim Texts, compiled by the USC-MSA, the Muslim Students Association at the University of Southern California,[1] confirms READ THE REST (The Meaning of Islam; Updated by Axius; WikiIslam; page was last modified 15:59, 6 February 2014)

Mo recited Biblical stories but noticeably transformed those stories to fit a perception that validated Allah as the true god, Mo as the last prophet and the other Judeo-Christian faiths based on the Bible as corrupted and corrected by Mo’s prophetic words eventually edited and turned into the Quran. That should send up a red flag in the believability factor. Duped original Arabs fell for Mo’s line and Biblically knowledgeable Jews and Christians often paid with their lives knowing Mo was a false prophet.

The Quran alters stories and beliefs taught in the Christian Bible

… The Old and New Testament stories are anointed as divine messages from “prophets”, but the stories and beliefs those prophets introduced are noticeably altered before Islam’s holy book takes a new tack, condemning the people, message, and beliefs of both Judaism and Christianity.

The Quran tells different versions of New Testament stories

The Quran promotes its own modified view of Christianity and Jesus’ life. The Quran expands on Mary’s life, introduces new tales of Jesus’ early life, and goes to great lengths to deemphasize Jesus as a divine figure, proclaiming he was simply another “Messenger” (like Muhammad). In fact, Islam teaches its followers that Jesus’ crucifixion did not occur but rather was a cunning deception.

The Quran tells different versions of Old Testament stories

According to the Quran, God revealed new details of Old Testament stories to Muhammad. In particular, events surrounding Adam and Eve, Abraham, Lot, Joseph, Jacob, Noah, and numerous other minor Old Testament characters are revised. Most Old Testament stories related in the Quran are similar to the Christian (and Jewish) versions but with additional, surprising details “revealed by God” to Muhammad (these new versions of Old Testament stories are often repeated several times throughout the Quran).

Initial acceptance of other religions (e.g. Jewish, Christian)

Initially the Quran accommodates other religions and in particular, accepts the word of the Old and New Testaments as messages from God. While initially seeming tolerant of Jewish and Christian beliefs, it quickly reveals that the Quran has the authority to override Old and New Testament teachings.

The Muslim version of heaven

The Muslim vision of heaven differs slightly from the typical Christian depiction. In fact, there are seven heavens mentioned in the Quran (a concept carried over from the Jewish Talmud).

The Quran notes that people are “ranked” in heaven according to the number and quality of good deeds they do, and many Muslims believe this ranking dictates which “heaven” you will be admitted to.

In most instances, heaven is described as a “garden wherein streams flow”, a peaceful place where those granted entry can live an existence of luxury amongst flowing rivers, fruit trees, servants, and as noted in one verse, young virgin women. Notice that there is no mention of “72 virgins for every man” in the Quran. This often-quoted number comes from a hadith, a sort of eye-witness commentary on the Quran and life of Muhammad.

… Quite Lengthy but READ ENTIRETY (A Christian guide to the Quran – the surprising truth behind the religion of Islam; Bible Blender; 2/10/15)

Zaheer Baig mentions these names from the Quran that are also in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus:

Adam

·         In the Bible, God tells the man to name the animals.[22] In the Qur’an, God teaches Adam the names “of all things” and Adam repeats them.[15]

·         In the second of the Bible’s creation stories, the woman is created from the rib of the man. In the Qur’an, Eve is not mentioned by name, but it states that all mankind were created from one soul (Adam).[23][24]

·         In the Bible, the forbidden tree named is the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (3:5), and while its fruit is often depicted as an apple, the Bible does not describe the fruit.[25] In the Qur’an the forbidden tree is not named but Shaitaan calls it The Tree of Eternity to deceive Adam and his wife.[15]

·         In the Bible, God creates man in His own image.[26] In the Qur’an, God says “Surely the likeness of (Prophet) Isa(Jesus in Bible) is with God as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, Be, and he was.”[8]

·         In the Qur’an, God tells the angels to prostrate before Adam (as a sign of respect and obedience), but Iblis (thereafter referred to as Shaitaan) refuses.[27] In the Bible, no such account is given.

·         According to the Bible, because of God’s curse, serpents have to crawl and eat dust, women have to suffer in childbirth, and men have to sweat for a living. The Biblical story also states that women will suffer from periods and will bear pregnancy pain.[28] This apparently differentiates blessing and obedience from pain and sinning. According to the Qur’an, no such curse was issued. The difficulties of life on earth are what makes it different from life in paradise. (Adam and Eve (آدم Adam and حواء Hawwaa); Wikipedia)

Cain and Able or (Qābīl and Hābīl)

The story of Cain and Abel

·         After Cain killed his brother Abel, The Quran says that “Allah sent a raven who scratched the ground to show him how to hide the shame of his brother.” Surah 5:31. This is not mentioned in the Bible. (The Bible vs. The Quran: The Story of Cain and Abel; By Abdullah al Araby; Islam Review)

Noah

·         The Qur’an focuses on a dialogue between Noah and the wicked (Hud 11:32–37), in which Noah unsuccessfully attempts to remonstrate with his countrymen, who reject his message. Genesis does not mention such a dialogue. (In the Christian Bible, 2Peter2:5, Noah is called a “preacher of righteousness”.)

·         In the Qur’an, Noah’s wife and one of his sons reject him (Hud 11:43) and die in the flood, while some people outside his family are faithful and join him (Hud 11:42). In the biblical narrative, Noah’s wife together with his three sons and their wives all board the Ark, but no others.

·         In the Qur’an, there is no such indication that the flood was universal, although many Islamic scholars claim to interpret otherwise.

·         In the Qur’an, the Ark is said to rest on the hills of Mount Judi (Hud 11:44); in the Bible, it is said to rest on the mountains of Ararat (Gen. 8:4) The Al-Djoudi (Judi) is apparently a mount in the Biblical mountain range of Ararat. The Qur’an cites a particular mount in the Ararat Range, whereas the Bible just mentions the Ararat Range by name. There is a Mount Al-Djoudi in the present-day Ararat mountain range in Turkey. (Noah (نوح Nūḥ); Wikipedia)

Abraham

·         In Genesis, the sacrificial son is Isaac, whereas in the Qur’an it is Ishmael (Ismā’īl إسماعيل), since it first narrates this story, followed by the account (mentioned above) of Abraham receiving the tidings of a son, Isaac (As-Saaffat 37:102–112. Therefore, Muslims believe the sacrificial son was Ishmael (Ismā’īl إسماعيل) and that this event happened prior to Isaac’s birth. It may be added that the name Abraham is a literary trope in Genesis Ab- “father-of(-many-nations)” while the Arabic name masks the connection. In the New Testament the son is Isaac (James 2:21).

·         While God seems to speak directly to Abraham in Genesis, He speaks through a vision in the Qur’an.

·         In the Qur’an, Abraham directly tells his son Ishmael (Ismā’īl إسماعيل) that he intends to sacrifice him. In Genesis, Abraham tells Isaac, that “God will provide the sacrifice.” (Abraham (Ibrāhīm ابراهيم); Wikipedia)

Isaac and Ishmael – Child of Promise?

·         Isaac was the only promised child of Abraham, a fact which the Quran agrees with (cf. Genesis 17:15-21; Surah 11:69-73, 37:112-113, 51:24-30). Ishmael was never a promised child.

·         Isaac was conceived miraculously to a barren mother and a very aged father, with the Quran likewise agreeing (cf. Genesis 17:15-17, 18:9-15, 21:1-7; Galatians 4:28-29; Surah 11:69-73, 51:24-30). Ishmael was conceived normally without the need of any miraculous intervention.

·         God promised that it would be Isaac’s descendants who would inherit the land given to Abraham. (Genesis 13:14-18, 15:18-21, 28:13-14). Ishmael had no part in the inheritance and promise given to Isaac through Abraham. (Abraham and the Child of Sacrifice – Isaac or Ishmael? By Sam Shamoun; Answering Islam)

The TRUE Word of God on Isaac and Ishmael:

21 Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? 22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, 24 which things are symbolic. For these are the[a] two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar— 25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children— 26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.

28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. 29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. 30 Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.”[a] 31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free. (Galatians 4: 21-26, 28-31 NKJV)

Moses

·         The Biblical Moses is reluctant to become a prophet and makes excuses. He eventually agrees and Aaron speaks and performs miracles at first until Moses is ready and takes over. In Quran, Aaron was made God’s messenger on Moses’ request to back him up in the difficult task. Moses asked God to give him human support from Family, then ask for Aaron (his brother) praising Aaron by saying that he (Aaron) is better speaker than him (Moses).

·         The sorcerers, in the Quranic story, repent after seeing Moses’ signs and submit to God at the anger of Pharaoh.

·         In the Quran, Pharaoh didn’t repent but tried to deceive Moses and God by saying that now he believes in one God, the God of Moses and Aaron (while drowning). But God didn’t accept this because he sought repentance at the time of death after seeing the angels.

·         In the Bible, Moses first goes to Pharaoh without showing any signs.

·         In Exodus, Aaron helps make the golden calf. In the Quran, Aaron himself was a messenger of God and was representing Moses in his absences. He opposed that idea with all his might and warned the Israelites that God will be angry with them. In the Qur’an, a person named Samiri (not to be confused with Samaritans) leads the Israelites to worship the golden calf.

·         Pharaoh drowns in Exodus. In the Quran, Pharaoh drowned as well, but God said in the Qur’an that he preserved the pharaoh’s body as an example for generations to come (or made an example for coming generations) (Moses (Mūsā موسى); Wikipedia)

Jesus Christ the Son of God

… The Christian faith has several key beliefs. The teaching that is unique to the Christian faith is that there is one God who eternally manifests Himself in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is known as the Godhead or the blessed Trinity. The second critical doctrine is that Jesus of Nazareth is the only begotten Son of God; therefore He is unique from everyone else. His Father was not human, but the holy God of Israel. The third key doctrine is that the Lord Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for man’s sin and then rose from the dead. There are other important doctrines, but these three really comprise the very heart of the Christian faith.

… The Koran claims that the Lord Jesus is only an apostle and for Christians to desist from teaching the blessed Trinity! In this same Sura, the Koran denies the Lord Jesus is the Son of God.

In one Sura the Koran attacks the very heart of Christianity by denying the blessed Trinity and that the Lord Jesus is the only begotten Son of God! It calls Christians liars and demands that the preaching of the Trinity and Jesus being the Son of God stop. The Koran identifies Christians sometimes as “followers of the book,” but when they proclaim Christian doctrine, the Koran then calls them liars. …

… The Koran even states in Sura 9:30 that those that believe Allah has a son should be destroyed by Allah! The Koran is very clear that it was written to attack this Christian doctrine.

The Koran literally says the Lord Jesus did not die on the cross. It claims that He appeared to have died on the cross, but He was not killed nor was He crucified. Allah just took Jesus to heaven. The Koran directly attacks the vicarious death of Jesus of Nazareth on the cross, and thus rejects His redemption of man from sin. …

… The very heart of Christianity that the Lord is the Son of God is the worst sin in Islam! According to the Koran, Allah forbids heaven to anyone who commits this sin and their abode is hell without any help.

… The Koran states that God does not have a son. The Bible states that all life is in the Lord Jesus as the only begotten Son of God. With the Bible, if you have the Son, you have eternal life: if you do not have the Son, then you do not have eternal life. A person that does not believe this makes God a liar. The Koran written 500 years after these verses denies the Son, and therefore makes the God of the Bible a liar. The Bible is written in the positive stating God has a Son. …

… The warning of the Bible is same today as it was at the time of Muhammad:

1 John 5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

(10) He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

(11) And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

(12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

(13) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

… (The Koran Directly Attacks Christianity; By John McTernan; Defend and Proclaim the Faith; Copyright 2009 by John McTernan: All rights reserved.)

Needless to say, I highly disagree with Zaheer Baig assertions that Islam is a peaceful faith in which “…  souls find true happiness and peace” and that the “Islamic position is that all of these prophets came with the same message, that there is no deity worthy of worship except the One True God, known in Arabic as Allah.”

That Islamic deception is a blatant antichrist lie!

18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the[a] Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

24 Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life.

26 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.

4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. (1 John 2: 18-19, 22-26; 4: 1-3, 12-16 NKJVBold text by Editor)

Islam’s Allah is NOT the same as Christianity’s GOD Almighty

Jesus - Who do you say that I AM

Commentary on Shamim Masih: ‘Seeking for Peace Place’

John R. Houk

© February 22, 2015

On February 16 I posted Shamim Masih’s report on the goings on in Pakistan during the UN’s International Week on Interfaith Harmony. I had a lengthy enough intro that I gave the intro its own name “First Thoughts on ‘Strive for Peace and Harmony’”.

Shamim was quite favorable of the UN initiative even to the point of participating in the week’s events. I on the other hand asserted that I was quite distrustful of anything coming from the UN and exposed the whole event was a deceptive initiative in which many of the original sponsors were Radical Muslims pushing an Islamic Supremacist goal pretending to be friendly to Christianity. However, if one reads the entirety of the Islamic document promoting interfaith harmony as long as it is clear the Allah of Islam is supreme and Jesus is a mere prophet rather than the Son of God whose Blood has redeemed all humanity from its fallen nature if only they believe on the Resurrection power of Jesus Christ.

In this report entitled “Seeking for Peace Place,” Shamim is sticking to his guns (so-to-speak) about Islam and Christianity having the same concepts of peace that interfaith harmony will save the world interfaith strife that exists between the proponents of Islam and the proponents of Christianity:

Muslims and Christians together make up well over half of the world’s population. Without peace and justice between these two religious communities, there can be no meaningful peace in the world. The future of the world depends on peace between Muslims and Christians. The basis for this peace and understanding already exists. It is part of the very foundational principles of both faiths: love of the One God, and love of the neighbor. These principles are found over and over again in the sacred texts of Islam and Christianity. The Unity of God, the necessity of love for Him, and the necessity of love of the neighbor is thus the common ground between Islam and Christianity.” (Bold text mine)

Does peace and understanding truly already exist between Islam and Christianity? Is love of the “One God” and love of neighbor truly the same thing in Islam and Christianity?

And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, “We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.” (Quran – Surah 29:46; Sahih International translation)

Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans** [before Prophet Muhammad] – those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness – will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. (Quran – Surah 2:62; Sahih International translation)

[**Here are Islamic sources pertaining to the Sabeans or Sabians of the Quran: HERE and HERE.]

These surahs in the Quran appear to corroborate Shamim’s point, right? Then what about this?

And whoever desires other than Islam as religion – never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers. (Quran – Surah 3:85; Sahih International translation)

They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, “Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?” And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent. (Quran – Surah 5:17; Sahih International translation)

72 They have certainly disbelieved who say, “Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary” while the Messiah has said, “O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” Indeed, he who associates others with Allah – Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.

73 They have certainly disbelieved who say, “Allah is the third of three.” And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment. (Quran – Surah 5:72-73; Sahih International translation)

The first two surahs affirm that the God of the Bible and the Allah of the Quran are the same as well as the God worshipped by Jews, Christians and Sabeans is the same in Oneness as Allah.

The last three surahs say that “Allah” – meaning God Almighty – is not a triune God because this concept destroys the Oneness of God. AND that since there is no Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit – three persons are ONE God in unity) Jesus is neither God nor the Son of God. AND those that think in the way of the Christian Trinity will be punished severely in Hell.

Hence I can’t agree with Shamim that there can be interfaith harmony between Islam and Christianity. In full disclosure the Bible tells us those who reject Jesus as God and the Son of God will find their part with Satan, the Antichrist and the False Prophet in Hell’s Lake of Fire.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but[a]have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” (Bible – John 3: 14-21 NKJV)

10 The devil [Satan], who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where[aa] the beast [Antichrist] and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (Bible – Revelation 20:10 NKJV)

6 And He said to me, “It is done![a] I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things,[b] and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving,[c] abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Bible – Revelation 21:6-8 NKJV)

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God,[a] and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.[b] 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Bible – Revelation 20: 12-15 NKJV)

Earlier I quoted the Quran on surahs that completely contradict each other on an Islamic sense of brotherly love. You have to know that in Islam, even if two things are contradictory in the Quran, if it is in the Quran it is true even it is contradictory. This is possible via two Islamic concepts: Dualism and Abrogation.

But not all verses in the Qur’an have the same weight in assessment. Unlike the Old or New Testaments, the Qur’an is not organized by chronology but rather by size of chapters.[7] Even within chapters, chronology can be confused. In sura (chapter) 2, for example, God revealed verses 193, 216, and 217 to Muhammad shortly after he arrived in Medina. God only revealed verses 190, 191, and 192 six years later.[8] This complicates interpretation, all the more when some verses appear to contradict.

Abrogation in the Qur’an

The Qur’an is unique among sacred scriptures in accepting a doctrine of abrogation in which later pronouncements of the Prophet declare null and void his earlier pronouncements.[9] Four verses in the Qu’ran acknowledge or justify abrogation: … READ ENTIRETY (Peace or Jihad? Abrogation in Islam; By David Bukay; Middle East Quarterly; Fall 2007, pp. 3-11)

Because of Dualism and Abrogation the only thing close to a Golden Rule in Islam is between fellow Muslims. And ever since the fall of Caliph Ali (4th Rightly Guided Caliph, Son-in-Law and cousin Mo – neutral, favorable and negative). Various Muslim groups claiming legitimacy have been killing each other for centuries. In relation to non-Muslims, Islam has no Golden Rule.

Islam’s treatment of us can be found in one word–kafir. The Koran says that a kafir (unbeliever) can be robbed, killed, tortured, mocked, insulted, beheaded, raped, crucified and on and on. The Hadith and the Sira agree with the Koran. Every single reference to the kafirs is negative, offensive and hateful.

The word “kafir” illustrates both of political Islam’s principles–submission and duality. The Trilogy (Koran, Sira and Hadith) says that every kafir in the world must submit to political Islam.

The Koran also establishes dualism with its ethical system. A Muslim is not to kill another Muslim; a kafir may be killed, or not. A Muslim is not to lie to another Muslim; a kafir may be deceived or not. And so on. Islam has one set of ethics for Muslims and another set of ethics for the kafir–dualistic ethics.

The later political Koran written in Medina frequently contradicts the early religious Koran written in Mecca. The Koran gives a rule for removing the contradiction by saying that the later Koran “abrogates” the early Koran. … READ ENTIRITY (Golden Rule Islam; Bill Warner; Political Islam; 1/10/08)

Other religions all something similar to the Christian Golden Rule, but it is Christian theology taken from the Holy Bible that defines the Golden Rule and how to treat your neighbor of any faith.

11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! 12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. (Bible – Matthew 7:11-12 NKJV)

29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’[a] This is the first commandment.[b] 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[c] There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Bible – Mark 12:29-31 NKJV)

Take note that the Lord Jesus Christ quotes the classic Jewish Shema from Mark 12:29 and yet He also asserts that He is the Son of God which is a person of the ONE God Trinity. I believe I can that Islam’s is NOT the same as Christianity’s God Almighty.

Seeking for Peace Place

By Shamim Masih

Sent: 2/21/2015 12:55 AM

ISLAMABAD: According to PCP reports, Pakistani Christian refugees [Snapshot of Pakistani Christians in Bangkok] gathered in Ayana Hotel, Bangkok and appealed UNHCR to provide them humanitarianChurchexile.JPG aid according to UN Charter. The gathering was organized by the Urdu Church in Hands of God, headed by Pastor Papa Thongchai. They demanded US and EU to open their doors for persecuted Pakistani Christian refugees as they provide human rights to Muslims refugees in other countries. The PCP chief urged UNHCR and IRC to provide humanitarian aid to Pakistani Christian refugees in Thailand, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong and expedite hearing of their asylum cases according to the timeframe of refugee commission charter. Unsurprisingly, Pakistan’s Christians see themselves as victims of religious persecution. Some speak dramatically of Christian genocide. Shia Hazaras are fleeing Balochistan, and [the] same [for] Ahmadis. This is very unfortunate that Christian countries like Australia, EU and others [are] welcoming Hazaras and Ahmadis but they have closed their doors for Pakistani Christians. Australia has reportedly granted resident visas to 10, 000 Hazara families in 2014 [alone] but they are not ready to grant visa to any Pakistani Christian.

Pakistan has around 180 million people and there are around 20 million Christians. Though there [has been] no census for many years, but local churches and other organizations estimated this figure. The percentage of the Pakistan population is a bit difficult to pin down. The BBC claims 1.6 % in 2013, Gatestone Institute lists 3% in 2014 and PCP quotes more than 10% of the total. A majority of them are poor and living in the slum areas and [the] outskirts of the cities. Christians are the minority in Pakistan in which overwhelmingly the Muslims majority treats the minority as barely tolerable pariah. The Unity of God, the necessity of love for Him, and the necessity of love of the neighbor is thus the common ground between Islam and Christianity. Unfortunately Muslims not only in Pakistan but all around the world do not tolerate or accept other faiths. The problem is Muslims want equal rights where they are in minority and they have it in [the] EU and USA but they are not ready to deliver where they are in power.

There is another issue within [the] Christian community in Pakistan. Mostly living below poverty line and there are a few running non-profit organizations and earning handsome funds through different channels. But it is seen during the last decade that most of them are wasting those funds to achieve their personal goals. Like in politics, many of them are depositing heavy funds in political parties, like Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Muslim League, PML – N, PML-Q, APML, MQM, JUI and JI. Most recently human rights activists from the capital reportedly has spent heavy funds to gain Senator-Ship from his parent party, getting his vote registration from the capital to KPK but couldn’t manage to even reach to the interview. He has reportedly dropped huge funds to [the] party for his personal gain. Earlier many others have wasted money for Provisional and National Assembly seats. Now many are planning to sit in with Muslim political parties. This action must be discouraged.

Basharat Khokhar worked hard to save the lives of 18 Christians’ blasphemy accused in the capital including two pastors. Before the Christmas celebrations last year, Pastor Arif Peera and 6 other Christian and 11 other Christians were accused of blasphemy under FIR – 596/14 under section 295-B, 6/7ATA and FIR – 888/14 under section 295-B, 354, 452, 148 and 149 were registered respectively. With the cooperation of the local administration, Basharat Khokhar has been able to set free the blasphemy accused. One thing is to remember, this man of God, does not run any NGO and [is] not asking for donations from [any] national and international donors but [is] doing his work to save the skin of Christians of this country. On the other hand there are many, collecting millions of dollars but on [the] ground [their] work is zero. But they are so much active on facebook and other social media. Let’s think seriously and stop welcoming these hypocrites.

Since President Musharaf’s regime, [the] electoral system for minorities is turned to selection instead [of] election. The electoral system for minorities is proportional while for majority it is democratic. This is another kind of discrimination towards minorities of this country. Many minority representatives have requested the Supreme Court of Pakistan to restore the separate election and duel vote rights. This is already been adapted to Kashmiris living in this country. These kinds of actions from time to time by the government have created insecurity among [the] minorities of the country. Recently on Jan 30, Feb 13 and Feb 18, three suicide bombers have targeted three Shia mosques, where many Shias were killed and injured. The government said it will issue gun licenses for worshiper defenders. Razor wire, security guards, and gun licenses cannot assure the safety of the Shia, Christian, Hindu and Ahmadi. Most important is to educate the upcoming generations of the country. All faiths are entitled to equal respect, legal rights and privileges otherwise the things will remain same.

Be Blessed,

Accused of Contradicting Christ’s Writings

Good Tree- not both good & bad fruit

A gal going by the name Polyethene Pam posted a comment to a post I placed at my NCCR blog (among other places) entitled “Let’s Anger CAIR and Offend Muslims by Exposing Them” on 4/12/14. The post has numerous comments – some approving and some not so much.

Pam posted her comment this morning (12/12/14) at 7:25 AM. She was quite civil but not so approving. Her comment is as follows:

‘The NeoConservative Christian Right’ as someone who has a vast knowledge on Christianity, your actions and words contradict the teachings of Christ, the same way in which the actions and words of Islamic extremists contradict the teachings of Islam.

The ‘knowledge’ you have on Islam derives from your deep rooted hatred of Muslims NOT from a reliable unbiased source, hence the ignorance you have has rendered you blind and deaf, the hatred you have in your heart has made you bitter and while you spew venomous hatred towards people who you view as the ‘Other’ , there are people out there coexisting peacefully regardless of race, religion, caste or creed, it is those people who realise we must judge one another as individuals, that we must ask questions to find out the truth, that we shouldn’t assume because to assume is to make an ASS out of U and ME. #FOODFORTHOUGHT

As I proceeded to respond to Pam I came to the realization I was investing a bit of time in the response. It bugged me so much I decided to make Pam’s comment and my response a stand alone post. I already included her comment. Below is my response:

Pam you wrote:

“‘The NeoConservative Christian Right’ as someone who has a vast knowledge on Christianity, your actions and words contradict the teachings of Christ, the same way in which the actions and words of Islamic extremists contradict the teachings of Islam.”

Pam I will accept that my theology might be disagree with by other Christians; nonetheless it is my firm belief I am not saying anything that contradicts the teachings of Christ based on Matthew 7: 15-20 (NKJV):

15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (Bold Emphasis Mine)

Most extreme pacifists, Muslim Apologists and Progressive Christians like to quote Matthew 7: 1-2 about judgment:

1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.  (NKJV)

The thing is verses 1-2 need to be interpreted in the context of verses 15-20 of the same chapter seven. Clearly Jesus is saying not to judge an individual with the agenda of condemnation, especially those people of covenant.

BUT Jesus is saying become aware of those that bring falsehood as if it is truth or do wrong and say it is good. That is what I do pertaining to Islam which has a theology that contradictory paradigms are both true with duality thinking which enables a Muslim to commit wrong or lie if one believes it advances the cause of Islam.

Here are some examples exposing the nefarious thinking of Islam:

http://www.politicalislam.com/an-ethical-basis-for-war-against-political-islam-part-1-2/

Islamic Dualistic theology makes possible the Islamic ideology of Abrogation.

http://www.handbookforinfidels.com/Abrogation.html#.VItAOXtBlZY

The principle of abrogation plays a very important role in Islamic theology.  In fact, it’s one of the primary reasons that Islam is so implacably hostile to non-Muslims, to human rights, and to progressive, democratic societies. …

… Abrogation means that those verses in the Qur’an that were revealed to Muhammad later in his career cancel out earlier verses that contradict them.  That’s right, they cancel them right out!  It’s as if those earlier “truths” were never revealed at all. … (Click the above link and READ ENTIRETY)

http://www.frontpagemag.com/2014/raymond-ibrahim/islamic-jihad-and-the-doctrine-of-abrogation/

… No careful reader will remain unaware of the many contradictory verses in the Koran, most specifically the way in which peaceful and tolerant verses lie almost side by side with violent and intolerant ones. The ulema were initially baffled as to which verses to codify into the Shari’a worldview—the one that states there is no coercion in religion (2:256), or the ones that command believers to fight all non-Muslims till they either convert, or at least submit, to Islam (8:39, 9:5, 9:29). To get out of this quandary, the commentators developed the doctrine of abrogation, which essentially maintains that verses revealed later in Muhammad’s career take precedence over earlier ones whenever there is a discrepancy. In order to document which verses abrogated which, a religious science devoted to the chronology of the Koran’s verses evolved (known as an-Nasikh wa’l Mansukh, the abrogater and the abrogated). In Christianity apparent contradictions differ from the Quran are time sensitive or limited in territory. Jesus himself proclaims He did not come to end the Law and the Prophets but to fulfill it. Thus the Redemptive act of dying on the Cross and arising bodily in a Glorified Resurrected body ends the curses of the Law and magnifies the blessings of the Law. For example in Leviticus the Law commands to stone homosexuals to death because the practice is an abomination to God. That is the curse. The blessing in Christ Jesus is the knowledge it is God’s will that humanity that believes in Christ will be Saved from eternal separation from God. Rejecting Christ keeps the curse activated however the punishment of the Law are dealt out in the Last Judgment. Every human being enjoys the Grace and Mercy through Jesus Christ the son of God in believing in the Redemptive act to the dying breath.

OR God’s command for the Twelve Hebrew Tribes to exterminate the inhabitants residing in the Land Promised to Abraham’s descendants through the lineage of the child of Promise Isaac (NOT Ishmael the child of the bondwoman Hagar) was to be active ONLY within the Promised Land and NOT the entire world. God’s explanation is that the future displaced inhabitants were beyond the point of return in corrupt morals with issues such as sex-sins, baby-murder, child human sacrifices, False God temple prostitution of both sexes to name a few. Once the Promised Land was secured and the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob perpetuate in obedience to God Almighty global Salvation would come from their numbers.  That Salvation is through Jesus Christ the son of Mary and the Son of God. Mary is a descendant of David who is a descendant of Abraham.

On the other hand under Islam perpetual conquest and slaughter of the world is commanded by demonized Mohammed and attributed to the demon-god Allah until all humanity is Islamic or dead.

The only existent contradictions is the very nature of Islam’s BAD FRUIT.

Three things you (probably) don’t know about Islam

Robert Wakefield shared the below Youtube education moment on Islam as a comment to the Stop islamization of America Facebook Group sharing of my blog post “Fire is Still Burning” written by Shamim Masih. Since Shamim was reporting on crazy Pakistani Muslims burning a Christian husband and wife to death under false accusation of blasphemy promoted by a local Mullah from the Mosque loudspeakers, this video pertaining to Islam should be an eye opener.

Islam (Arabic: الإسلام‎ al-‘islām, pronounced [ʔislæːm] is the monotheistic religion articulated by the Qur’an, a text considered by its adherents to be the verbatim word of the one, incomparable God (Arabic: الله‎, Allāh), and by the Prophet of Islam Muhammad’s teachings and normative example (in Arabic called the Sunnah, demonstrated in collections of Hadith). Islam literally means “submission (to God).” Muslim, the word for an adherent of Islam, is the active participle of the same verb of which Islām is the infinitive.

Muslims regard their religion as the completed and universal version of a primordial, monotheistic faith revealed at many times and places before, including, notably, to the prophets Abraham, Moses and Jesus. Islamic tradition holds that previous messages and revelations have been changed and distorted over time. Religious practices include the Five Pillars of Islam, which are five obligatory acts of worship. Islamic law (Arabic: شريعة Šarīʿah) touches on virtually every aspect of life and society, encompassing everything from banking and warfare to welfare and the environment.

The majority of Muslims belong to one of two denominations, the Sunni and the Shi’a. Islam is the predominant religion in the Middle East, North Africa, and large parts of Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Sizable communities are also found in China and Russia, and parts of the Caribbean. About 13% of Muslims live in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country, 31% in the Indian Subcontinent, and 20% in Arab countries. Converts and immigrant communities are found in almost every part of the world. With approximately 1.57 billion Muslims comprising about 23% of the world’s population, Islam is the second-largest religion in the world and arguably the fastest growing religion in the world.

Islamic Jihad and the Doctrine of Abrogation

2 Korans - Muslim Lies

There is a huge doctrine in Islam that Muslim Apologists like to discount to we kafir (aka unbelievers or infidel) either as a deception knowing the Western mind would find this doctrine ridiculously unacceptable OR the typical Muslims simply don’t understand their own theology and view all criticism of Islam as blasphemy not willing to question the info provided by a Cleric. That doctrine is called abrogation.

A number of years ago I posted an essay written by Dr. David Bukay (Ph. D.) that I had found on PoliticalIslam.com. I titled the post “David Bukay on Islamic Abrogation,” but the essay written by Dr. Bukay was entitled “Abrogation and the Koran.” This was posted on my blog in June of 2008 so it was some time ago.

It is a detailed essay and I am probably doing an injustice by simplifying “Abrogation” that the doctrine takes the Quran pointing out the suras written in Mecca prior to Mohammed fleeing to Medina are abrogated or of none effect compared to the later suras written during the days of growing political and military power of Mohammed’s days of slowly taking over Medina. For example where Mohammed told his followers there is no compulsion in Islam that was Mecca, where Mohammed told his followers kill the Jews wherever you find them was in Medina.

Through Bill Warner of Political Islam learned another aspect of understanding Islamic Abrogation. Islam is a dualistic theology in that two opposite statements or commands can both be correct depending on the situation a Muslim or the people of Islam may face at the time. The Western mind finds it ludicrous that two opposites can be true. Either it is wrong or it is true.

Here we are in 2014 and I found another Counterjihad writer I admire in bringing clarity to the real of Islam in Raymond Ibrahim. Here is some more clarity on Abrogation from Ibrahim.

Islamic Jihad and the Doctrine of Abrogation

By Raymond Ibrahim

March 5, 2014

Raymond Ibrahim – Islam Translated

While other scriptures contain contradictions, the Koran is the only holy book whose commentators have evolved a doctrine to account for the very visible shifts which occur from one injunction to another. No careful reader will remain unaware of the many contradictory verses in the Koran, most specifically the way in which peaceful and tolerant verses lie almost side by side with violent and intolerant ones.

But why the contradiction in the first place? The standard view is that in the early years of Islam, since Muhammad and his community were far outnumbered by their infidel competitors while living next to them in Mecca, a message of peace and coexistence was in order. However, after the Muslims migrated to Medina in 622 and grew in military strength, verses inciting them to go on the offensive were slowly “revealed”—in principle, sent down from Allah—always commensurate with Islam’s growing capabilities. In juridical texts, these are categorized in stages: passivity vis-á-vis aggression; permission to fight back against aggressors; commands to fight aggressors; commands to fight all non-Muslims, whether the latter begin aggressions or not.[1] Growing Muslim might is the only variable that explains this progressive change in policy.

Other scholars put a gloss on this by arguing that over a twenty-two year period, the Koran was revealed piecemeal, from passive and spiritual verses to legal prescriptions and injunctions to spread the faith through jihad and conquest, simply to acclimate early Muslim converts to the duties of Islam, lest they be discouraged at the outset by the dramatic obligations that would appear in later verses.[2] Verses revealed towards the end of Muhammad’s career—such as, “Warfare is prescribed for you though you hate it”[3]—would have been out of place when warfare was actually out of the question.

However interpreted, the standard view on Koranic abrogation concerning war and peace verses is that when Muslims are weak and in a minority position, they should preach and behave according to the ethos of the Meccan verses (peace and tolerance); when strong, however, they should go on the offensive on the basis of what is commanded in the Medinan verses (war and conquest). The vicissitudes of Islamic history are a testimony to this dichotomy, best captured by the popular Muslim notion, based on a hadith, that, if possible, jihad should be performed by the hand (force), if not, then by the tongue (through preaching); and, if that is not possible, then with the heart or one’s intentions.[4]

That Islam legitimizes deceit during war is, of course, not all that astonishing; after all, as the Elizabethan writer John Lyly put it, “All’s fair in love and war.”[5] Other non-Muslim philosophers and strategists—such as Sun Tzu, Machiavelli, and Thomas Hobbes—justified deceit in warfare. Deception of the enemy during war is only common sense. The crucial difference in Islam, however, is that war against the infidel is a perpetual affair—until, in the words of the Koran, “all chaos ceases, and all religion belongs to Allah.”[6] In his entry on jihad from the Encyclopaedia of Islam, Emile Tyan states: “The duty of the jihad exists as long as the universal domination of Islam has not been attained. Peace with non-Muslim nations is, therefore, a provisional state of affairs only; the chance of circumstances alone can justify it temporarily.”[7]

Moreover, going back to the doctrine of abrogation, Muslim scholars such as Ibn Salama (d. 1020) agree that Koran 9:5, known as ayat as-sayf or the sword verse, has abrogated some 124 of the more peaceful Meccan verses, including “every other verse in the Koran, which commands or implies anything less than a total offensive against the nonbelievers.”[8] In fact, all four schools of Sunni jurisprudence agree that “jihad is when Muslims wage war on infidels, after having called on them to embrace Islam or at least pay tribute [jizya] and live in submission, and the infidels refuse.”[9]

Obligatory jihad is best expressed by Islam’s dichotomized worldview that pits the realm of Islam against the realm of war. The first, dar al-Islam, is the “realm of submission,” the world where Shari’a governs; the second, dar al-Harb (the realm of war), is the non-Islamic world. A struggle continues until the realm of Islam subsumes the non-Islamic world—a perpetual affair that continues to the present day. The renowned Muslim historian and philosopher Ibn Khaldun (d. 1406) clearly articulates this division:

In the Muslim community, jihad is a religious duty because of the universalism of the Muslim mission and the obligation to convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force. The other religious groups did not have a universal mission, and the jihad was not a religious duty for them, save only for purposes of defense. But Islam is under obligation to gain power over other nations.[10]
