Jerusalem is the capital city of the nation Israel. In case you didn’t get that let me say it another way: Jerusalem is the heritage of Jews!
Now here is something Jews are critical of: (Biblical) Christians believe the return of the Jews to the Holy Land reestablishing Israel as the Land of the Jews is a huge sign that Christ Jesus the Son of God is coming soon to establish His Kingdom on the throne of David. Not only as King of the Jews but also as King of all those that believe Jesus is the Risen Savior of all humanity. Christians believe that Jesus is the Priest-King prophesied to possess the Throne of David to rule and reign as King and God of all the earth.
Ironically in the eyes of Israel faithful Jews, Christians are viewed both as enemies and friends. From the days that Gentiles dominated the Christian faithful history shows an unbiblical persecution of Jews by Christians. Since the Christians that believe that Israel and Jerusalem are Jewish Biblically are evangelical in nature coupled with a sour history with Christians, there is a difficulty to view Christians as friends.
Regardless of Jewish acceptance of Christian motives I am one that completely stands with Israel to be an independent nation with the City of David – Jerusalem – as the God certified capital city. Arabs that call themselves Palestinians have no claim to Jerusalem on the basis of a religion founded about 600 years after Christ’s Resurrection and around two thousand years after Joshua led the twelve Hebrew Tribes to dispossess the ungodly Canaanites that God deemed unworthy thus fulfilling the Promise to Abraham to possess the Land forever.
All these pro-Israel Christian Zionist thinking is a result of an email I received from Mike Evans of Jerusalem Prayer Team relating that President Barack Hussein Obama is scheduled to travel to Israel with the intention to bully Israel to divide Jerusalem between Israel and the usurping Arabs that call themselves Palestinians.
Mike Evans believes that if BHO is successful in his agenda that the USA will be under the curse of God for working against the legacy of the Jews and the Land of Israel. I am going to post that email, but first I want to post numerous Scriptures to think about while reading the Evans email.
Israel is the Promise to Jews and Christ is the Messiah
1 Now the Lord had said to Abram:
“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
4 So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. 5 Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan. 6 Abram passed through the land to the place of Shechem, as far as the terebinth tree of Moreh.[a] And the Canaanites were then in the land.
7 Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him. 8 And he moved from there to the mountain east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; there he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord. 1 For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace,
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,
And her salvation as a lamp that burns.
2 The Gentiles shall see your righteousness,
And all kings your glory.
You shall be called by a new name,
Which the mouth of the Lord will name.
3 You shall also be a crown of glory
In the hand of the Lord,
And a royal diadem
In the hand of your God.
4 You shall no longer be termed Forsaken,
Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate;
But you shall be called Hephzibah,[a] and your land Beulah;[b]
For the Lord delights in you,
And your land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin,
So shall your sons marry you;
And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
So shall your God rejoice over you.
6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,
7 And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
11 Indeed the Lord has proclaimed
To the end of the world:
“Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘Surely your salvation is coming;
Behold, His reward is with Him,
And His work before Him.’”
12 And they shall call them The Holy People,
The Redeemed of the Lord;
And you shall be called Sought Out,
A City Not Forsaken. (Isaiah 62: 1-7, 11-12 NKJV)
1 I was glad when they said to me,
“Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
2 Our feet have been standing
Within your gates, O Jerusalem!
3 Jerusalem is built
As a city that is compact together,
4 Where the tribes go up,
The tribes of the Lord,
To the Testimony of Israel,
To give thanks to the name of the Lord.
5 For thrones are set there for judgment,
The thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
7 Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.”
8 For the sake of my brethren and companions,
I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God
I will seek your good. (Psalms 122: 1-9 NKJV)
“For behold, in those days and at that time,
When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land.
3 They have cast lots for My people,
Have given a boy as payment for a harlot,
And sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.
4 “Indeed, what have you to do with Me,
O Tyre and Sidon, and all the coasts of Philistia?
Will you retaliate against Me?
But if you retaliate against Me,
Swiftly and speedily I will return your retaliation upon your own head;
5 Because you have taken My silver and My gold,
And have carried into your temples My prized possessions.
6 Also the people of Judah and the people of Jerusalem
You have sold to the Greeks,
That you may remove them far from their borders.
7 “Behold, I will raise them
Out of the place to which you have sold them,
And will return your retaliation upon your own head.
16 The Lord also will roar from Zion,
And utter His voice from Jerusalem;
The heavens and earth will shake;
But the Lord will be a shelter for His people,
And the strength of the children of Israel.
17 “So you shall know that I am the Lord your God,
Dwelling in Zion My holy mountain.
Then Jerusalem shall be holy,
And no aliens shall ever pass through her again.”
20 But Judah shall abide forever,
And Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 For I will acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted;
For the Lord dwells in Zion.” (Joel 3: 1-7, 16-17, 20-21 NKJV – Should read ALL Chapter 3)
11 The people shall dwell in it;
And no longer shall there be utter destruction,
But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12 And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:
Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,
Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,
And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths. (Zechariah 14:11-12 NKJV)
4 Nevertheless for David’s sake the Lord his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, by setting up his son after him and by establishing Jerusalem; 5 because David did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, and had not turned aside from anything that He commanded him all the days of his life, except in the matter of Uriah the Hittite. 6 And there was war between Rehoboam[a] and Jeroboam all the days of his life. (1 Kings 15:4-6 NKJV)
14 So the Lord God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this,
You are cursed more than all cattle,
And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you shall go,
And you shall eat dust
All the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,

22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it,[a] for the glory[b] of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations of those who are saved[c] shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.[d] 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). 26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.[e] 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes[f] an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Yeah, I did say numerous Scriptures. Anyway, these Scriptures are an excellent preparation for Mike Evans’ warning that a BHO agenda could be a curse upon the United States of America.

President Obama’s plan for Jerusalem will bring God’s judgment on America

In a few days, President Obama will be going to Israel. This is his first trip to the Jewish state since he became president, and he is going with an urgent agenda—to divide the Holy City of Jerusalem and rush the creation of a Palestinian state with much of Jerusalem as its capital. He is hoping this will be the great international legacy of his second term in office.
There is no doubt in my mind that if this plan succeeds, God will judge America in a way we have never seen in our history. Our nation is in the process of touching God’s prophecy and that is a very dangerous thing. The outcome of this plan does not just threaten Israel’s future, but that of America and every other nation that supports it as well. God will not allow us to contradict His Word in such an open and blatant way.
I am going to Israel next week on an urgent mission as your ambassador. The next few weeks are literally some of the most critical times in the entire modern existence of the nation of Israel. The Jewish state is surrounded by enemies. The future of the government of Israel is uncertain. My old friend Prime Minister Netanyahu has so far been unable to form a new government after the recent election…and members of the Obama Administration are pushing the Israeli political leaders not to join a new government in an attempt to remove him from office even though he won a majority of votes to be Prime Minister.
Please start praying right now for me on this trip. God has planned my schedule, and I must take His message to the nation of Israel. I have no doubt that God brought us together “for such a time as this.” He knew Israel would be surrounded by enemies and abandoned by friends…and he called the Jerusalem Prayer Team into existence to raise up a great host of Believers who would stand faithfully in prayer for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.

Nuclear weapons replace depth of defense
Samson Blinded is one of those blogs you probably will not locate unless you specifically look for it. The posts at Samson Blinded are pro-Israel on the militant side of political incorrectness. The Jewish authors are not necessarily friendly to Christian Zionists as me; nonetheless the irony is I often agree with the Samson Blinded author. Below is a cross post with the theme of nuclear weaponry as a credible defense for little Israel to survive being surrounded by a sea of Jew-Hating Muslims that are actually acquiring sophisticated offensive capability thanks to both the USA and Russia.

Nuclear weapons replace depth of defense

Peace, and even neutrality, have protected no state, ever. Small irrelevant states are tolerated, but they are rolled over without remorse when military needs arise. Germany occupied Belgium, and Italy annexed almost all the lands of the Vatican. Belgium was neutral, and the Vatican was even culturally indispensable for Catholic Italy. Israel cannot hope to convince the Muslims of her peaceful intentions and enjoy peace with them.
Hong Kong and Switzerland provide different examples. The evil empires of Communist China and Nazi Germany tolerated them out of utter economic necessity. But Hong Kong and Switzerland were indispensable for their imperial neighbors only because the evil states were isolated from the rest of the world. Muslim oil economies are very open, and do not need Israel as their gate into the world. Muslims won’t hesitate to wipe Israel off the map.
Could Israel possibly rely on outside protection, such as a mutual defense treaty? No country rose to defend Poland in WWII. Protection—however unreliable—could only come from the US, but its behemoth army wouldn’t be able to deploy in Israel before the Muslims overran her forty-mile depth of defense and annihilated the Jews.
Whatever are the peace arrangements, Israel would have to maintain military preparedness. Israel cannot conduct a defensive war in the current borders. Arab enemies could repeatedly mobilize at Israel’s borders without attacking her; Israel could either respond by mobilizing every time and eventually ruining her economy, or gamble that the Arabs won’t attack—and only once lose the gamble.
A peace treaty with the Muslims won’t help. Every war violates a peace treaty. Muslims fight their brethren, and won’t hesitate to attack Israel if her military might dwindles.
Israel is left with two choices. One is to maintain military capability indefinitely. That path is economically unsustainable. Another is to discourage the Arabs from encroaching on Israel. For that approach to work, our threat of must remain extremely credible; bluffing does not work long in international relations. Arabs must be unable to test Israeli defenses to see how Israel would react to this or that provocation, or to look for the breach in the retaliation doctrine. Israel should treat any clearly dangerous acts as casus belli. Israel may not tolerate Muslim acquisitions of WMD, modern aircraft and air defense systems, tanks and anti-tank missiles, or mobilizations. Confronting Syria over its military upgrade now makes more sense that defending Israel from a fully revamped Syrian army a few years later. Israel won’t need to fight very often. Once the credibility of Israeli response is established, Arabs will stop provoking her.
Israel must maintain a credible threat, but not an expensive, economically unbearable army. How so? Nuclear retaliation is the answer. Israel should not hesitate to employ nuclear weapons. Extensive and costly bombing of Lebanon could be replaced with pinpoint strikes with 10kt nuclear microcharges. A weapon of that size won’t even destroy a medium-sized village, and would cause no fallout dangerous to Israel. Numerous nuclear mushrooms, however, would terrify our enemies.
Attacks by regular Arab armies should be similarly countered with 20–50kt nuclear microcharges. Even the small 20kt weapons would not endanger the Jewish cities ten to fifteen miles away from the battlefield; the populations that have been exposed to the moderate levels of radiation around Hiroshima and Chernobyl are not particularly unhealthy. Israel could emulate the depth of defense by striking deep into the enemy’s territory. Large-scale bombing raids against Damascus, Cairo, or Tehran are prohibitively expensive, but 100kt nuclear bombs offer a practical solution: large enough to damage and frighten the enemy, yet small enough to avoid exposing Israeli cities to a radiological threat. Enemies will know that they cannot succeed even if they overrun narrow Israel.
Would the Muslims escalate in response to the Israeli nuclear threat? Yes, unless Israel proves the escalation to be a dead-end. During the Cold War, the US answered similar challenges with a doctrine of gradual escalation. Likewise, Israel would employ nuclear microcharges against the guerrillas, their supporters, and regular armies, and small bombs against the attacking enemy’s cities. If attacked with WMD, however, Israel would immediately demolish the Dome of the Rock, employ nuclear weapons against Mecca and Medina, and drop really large bombs on the enemy’s capitals.
That sounds like madness, but MAD, Mutually Assured Destruction, prevented the Cold War from becoming WWIII. Arabs won’t attack a dangerously mad Israel. A country prepared for total war will live in total peace. Besides, Israel has no choice economically other than to rely on nuclear weapons.

Why Samson Blinded? Biblical Samson, blinded by the Philistines, killed thousands of them in suicide attack. Israeli nuclear weapons are aptly called the Samson Option.
Obadiah Shoher is a pen name for veteran politician. Obadiah lived in the USSR, and sufficiently hated socialism to emigrate. It was quite a disappointment to find that Israeli socialism is in many respects worse. Obadiah contends that socialism, combined with quasi-liberal leftism – the infamous political correctness – spells Israeli destruction, as it has destroyed other societies before. Shoher despises Israeli ostriches who keep their heads in sand preferring not to see the uncomfortable questions: changing demography of the ostensibly Jewish state, accumulation of nuclear weapons by hostile regimes, radicalization of Islamic societies, and the economic dead end of maintaining Israeli military capability regardless of paper treaties.
Why the pen name? Rav Kahane’s example is one obvious reason: he was kicked out of the Knesset for “racist” opinion that Jewish state cannot have Arab majority. Security is another reason: Obadiah receives plenty of threats.

Levy became so incensed at Glick that an article by Douglas Murray said he had to be physically restrained. Apparently Levy took umbrage to Glick’s argument that a lack of solution about statehood was Palestinian rejectionism more than Israeli Settlements in Judea/Samaria (aka West Bank).
Glick came away from this debate writing that she sees no future for Jews in the United Kingdom. The implication being that antisemitism has become ingrained into the UK public that they would rather allow the practice of unwestern Sharia Law than remember the treatment of Jews in Europe during WWII which was the Holocaust that killed about six million Jews.

Should Jews leave Britain? The question is prompted by this piece written by the Israeli journalist Caroline Glick.
Glick recently came to London to take part in an Intelligence Squared debate. The debate was about Israeli settlements. Glick and Danny Dayan attempted to explain to the London audience that Palestinian rejection rather than Jewish settlement in the West Bank is the primary reason there is still no solution to the Israeli-Palestinian dispute. The debate is now available on Youtube and there you can see the deeply rancorous tone of the discussion. At one point Lord Levy’s son, Daniel Levy, (arguing against Glick and Dayan) has to be almost physically restrained by his own co-debater (William Sieghart). Levy’s frustration appears to come from being pulled up on an allegation he casually makes against Israel for which he turns out to have absolutely no evidence.
But the audience go with him, and go against Glick and Dayan in the final vote by a factor of 5 to 1. As Glick notes in her bitter farewell to London, the audience was so hostile towards her argument that when she even mentioned the matter of Grand Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini and his involvement with the Nazis during World War II she was booed down by the audience. They – having been presented to her as open-minded – turned out to be so close-minded and partial that they would not even hear a historical fact about a Palestinian figure who was an actual Nazi. Glick writes:
‘I was prepared to conduct a civilized debate based on facts and reasoned argumentation. I expected it to be a difficult experience. I was not expecting to be greeted by a well-dressed mob.’
I suppose that there will be those who think Glick’s recommendation to Jews to be over-statement:
‘There is no future for Jews in England.’
But after the events of the last week you do have to wonder.
After all it was a week in which David Ward, the Liberal Democrat MP for Bradford East, used the opportunity provided by Holocaust Memorial Day to punish the Jews for the Holocaust:
‘Having visited Auschwitz twice – once with my family and once with local schools – I am saddened that the Jews, who suffered unbelievable levels of persecution during the Holocaust, could within a few years of liberation from the death camps be inflicting atrocities on Palestinians in the new State of Israel and continue to do so on a daily basis in the West Bank and Gaza.’
And on the day itself the Sunday Times saw fit to publish a cartoon by the witless Gerald Scarfe showing the Prime Minister of the Jewish state building a wall consisting of bloodied and dying Palestinians.
Much of the comment on these latter cases has focussed on the ‘inappropriateness’ of running an anti-Semitic cartoon or making an anti-Semitic comment so close to Holocaust Memorial Day. I cannot help thinking that this is missing the point. Ward and Scarfe should be excoriated not for their sense of timing but for the fact that they are wrong. Wholly, completely and outright wrong. There is absolutely no connection between, for instance, the liquidation of hundreds of thousands of Jews in the Warsaw ghetto and the treatment of Palestinians in the West Bank. There is absolutely no connection between the situation in Gaza and the herding of six million Jews into concentration camps. The wonder then is not over Scarfe or Ward’s sense of timing, but why at any point in any year they would be so keen to spread lies and to bait Jews by comparing the actions of the Jewish state with those of a genocidal doctrine of Nazism which sought to annihilate the Jews.
Rupert Murdoch has apologised for the Scarfe cartoon and Ward now seems to be reluctantly towing what Liberal Democrat party line can be held. But Glick’s question returns. What sort of future is there in Britain for Jews? I would submit that there is a future. But what is becoming increasingly clear is that the price of that future is that Jews will increasingly be expected to distance themselves from Israel. There is a fair amount of evidence from the Jewish community suggesting that this process is already underway. Once it is complete then those ‘good’ anti-Israel Jews will be able to proclaim victory. But the same force that they encouraged to come for their co-religionists will then just as surely come for them. And then where will they hide?

Christians be Bold in this 21st Century PC Age

As a Christian I am not ashamed to say that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to God. In that belief I feel obligated to speak up for my faith when confronted anti-Christ situations. The anti-Christ problem situations are admittedly projecting a ‘holier-than-thou’ image in the confrontation. Yes I realize it is not Christ-like to appear holier than thou. Even so, until I learn to develop that knack of projecting God’s Love while standing with the Savior I’ll err on the side of holier than thou rather than on the side of cowardly sheep afraid of offending someone.
One thing you should understand is that I am not perfect. Too often a lack of perfection is used by critics of Christians to cry hypocrite. And too often the critic is correct about the accusation of ‘hypocrite’. This is how I deal internally if I am a hypocrite or not.
The hypocrite is one who believes and tells another what is right while without contrition continues to personally do the opposite of what is right one’s self. The sense of contrition is the difference between a hypocrite and one who continues to seek the right even if a wrong turn is taken. Some are better than others at reading right and wrong turn signs. Or have learned the discipline not to be enticed to take wrong turns when there are signs that show the right way to go.
Two anti-Christ issues I deal with are to a lesser extent the immorality of the homosexual lifestyle and to a larger extent Islam. These days a critic of homosexuality and Islam is labeled with the epithet of homophobe or Islamophobe. In this post I am exalting Christ over Mohammed and the deity he called Allah.
Muslims – especially devout Muslims – are convinced Jesus is (as in the past tense ‘was’) only a man. Muslims are taught Jesus was one of a long line of prophets and the last prophet was Mohammed. In Islamic thinking Jesus is not the Christ (Messiah) the Son of the Living God who is ONE with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Christians view the Trinity as One God and Muslims view the Trinity as three god polytheistic idolatry.
Muslims have no problem expressing their negative thoughts on the Divinity and Sonship of Christ Jesus. Indeed, the Quran and its companion commentaries that include the Hadith, Sira and Sunna including the Islamic Clerical commentaries that ends up being studied to formulate Sharia Law, have theological reasoning for aggression toward Jews, Christians and polytheists. Initially Islamic holy writings indicate Mohammed desired to woo Jews and Christians into Islam as People of the Book. Polytheists or other non-Muslim religions were simply offered a convert or die option.
Does the Bible speak of aggression against people? Only an idiot would say no. However there are some glaring differences between the agendas of the Bible and the Quran relating to aggression against people.
The Old Testament (Christian perspective) points to the genealogical line that was Promised from Adam’s Fall through to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob then through Judah, Jesse and David then through David’s lineage that lead to Mary who conceives Jesus by the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit. This Old Testament scarlet thread focuses on the descendants of Abraham through the child of Promise Isaac – NOT Ishmael the son of Abraham and the Egyptian slave Hagar. Isaac’s son Jacob was renamed Israel by God. The descendants of Jacob-Israel became the Hebrew nation of Israel. God commanded the nation Israel to clear out the land of Canaan of its inhabitants because those people had devolved into such heinous sin they were beyond redeeming. Converting the Canaanites to the ONE-God faith of the Hebrews was not part of Israel possessing the Land.
The rising and falling of the nation Israel mirrors the degree of faithfulness of Israeli leaders in guiding the people under the Law of Moses. Eventually Israel split into two Kingdoms. The Northern Kingdom became known as Israel and roughly represented ten of the twelve tribes of Israel. The Southern Kingdom became known as Judah and represented the two tribes Judah and smaller Benjamin. The Southern Kingdom maintained the line of King David which is part of that scarlet thread of the human side of Jesus through Mary.
Israel and Judah both had their Kingdoms emptied of the Hebrews. The Assyrian Empire removed the predominant elites of the Northern Kingdom. The Babylonian Empire removed the inhabitants of Judah save a few unlearned tied to the land. History essentially begins calling the Hebrew remnant as Jews after the last Hebrew Kingdom of Judah. The Persians (Ironically the present day Iranians) allowed the Jews to begin to return to their Homeland area shortly Babylon was conquered.
I tried to abbreviate the Old Testament history of the Jews and I probably did a poor job; nonetheless the gist of my timeline is correct. At no time are the Jews commanded by God to force the world population into Judaism or die. The only people commanded to be exterminated were morally reprobate people on the level of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Mohammed’s sole dictum to his followers was to spread the creed of Islam by conquering the world by blood, lust and humiliation. The humiliation part was the plan to intimidate non-Muslims into eventually converting to Islam. The Islamic agenda was not a divine mission. Rather the Islamic agenda was a political-martial conquest that cemented the subjugation of the conquered by inculcating a new socio-theological paradigm into their conquered societies via demoralizing humiliation.
The Christian sole dictum is to go into all the world and share the Good News that Salvation is of the Jews and believing Jesus died on the Cross, was buried and on the third day was Resurrected from the grave by the power of the Father. Christ the Son of God in His glorified body fully human and fully Divine sits at the Right Hand of the Father ever interceding for the saints (Believing Christians).
Islam conquest of the world is coercive. Don’t believe junk that there is compulsion of religion in Islam. It is a deceptive statement. Sure the People of the Book can return their religion BUT ONLY if no open contradiction to Islam exists. Believe there is compulsion if Muslim indoctrinated people believe a religious minority is openly practicing their faith in a Muslim majority nation today.
Biblically Christian conquest in this world, until the Last Days, is purely a voluntary act of faith. The consequences for rejecting Christ are faced in the next life. Yes there have been Christian nations and empires that have imposed Christianity; however the imposition is contrary to the Word of God in the Bible. The Quranic aggression against non-Muslims is codified in the Quran, Hadith and Sira both in this life and the next life in Islamic theology.
I have to admit my ire over how Western political correctness was raised by an Andrew Bostom article with the theme that even when criticism is correctly directed toward a Muslim Cleric or Muslim terrorist that is a proponent of instituting the purist Islam of Mohammed, the critics tend to fail to note that Islam’s holiest book the Quran actually calls for the degradation of the non-Muslim. In Bostom’s critic he notes that the Obama Administration is selling some weaponry of significant power to the Muslim Brotherhood government of Egypt’s President Muhammad Morsi. That weaponry is some of America’s finest Fighter Jets.
In the past Egypt had developed into a pretty decent ally of U.S. under the now deposed Hosni Mubarak. Now Egypt is more like a fake ally putting the face of friendship while killing Coptic Christians and spewing the typical Quranic drivel that Jews and Israel should be exterminated. It is the ‘kill the Jews’ mentality that has gotten Bostom’s attention.
Evidently Sean Hannity has been criticizing the Obama Administration about selling weaponry to Jew-hating and American-hating Morsi. Bostom is ok with that portion of Hannity’s criticism. Bostom is befuddled on how Hannity and other good Conservative pundits like him are not pointing out that Morsi is merely repeating EXACTLY what the Quran, Hadith and Sira are saying about the way to treat Jews and Christians.
Here I am emphasizing that Christians should have no fear from Muslim Apologists that take glee in belittling Christianity and the Savior Jesus Christ. No one not even the President of the United States of America will denounce prominent Muslims for spewing anti-Christian hatred. AND YET the President and his Leftist minions will go out their way to denounce Biblically minded Christians as bigoted Islamophobes for pointing out the racism and über intolerance of Muslims and Islamic theo-political ideology.

The Left’s only enemy
Evidently the nation of Israel is experiencing the same Left-Right polarization that the USA is experiencing. Mahmoud Abbas stood at the UN podium and spoke egregious lie after lie (See Commentary on Abbas Lies) about Israel. The Israeli Right quite properly expressed the reality about Arabs that call themselves Palestinians; i.e. LIAR.
But here is some incredulity! The Israeli Left and the American Left praised the leader of the Palestinian Authority (PA – See Also Jewish Virtual Library) and Chairman of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) as a great seeking Liberty and Freedom for the non-existent group of Arabs that maintain they are Palestinians. Arabs as Palestinians did not exist until the Arab League via Egypt set up the PLO (Early Seeds of PLO: HERE and HERE) to create a reason for continuous attacks on Independent Israel to exterminate all the Jews living there. That creation date was 1964. Israel’s hard fought Independence from about SIX invading Muslim Arab armies were won in 1948.
Caroline Glick exposes the Leftists of America and Israel. Her theme is that American Leftists and Israeli Leftists don’t see a foreign enemy; rather they see their fellow citizens of the Right as the enemy. If the Left succeeds, Israel’s existence will be very tenuous.

The Left’s only enemy

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s legal term in office expired nearly four years ago. But his supporters don’t care. In Israel, Washington and throughout the world, Abbas’s supporters extol the authoritarian leader as a great moderate. In 2002, desperately searching for a face for the Palestinians that wasn’t Yasser Arafat’s face, the Left pushed Abbas out from behind Arafat’s shadow. Abbas, who served as Arafat’s deputy for 39 years, was upheld as a great moderate and placed in the invented position of Palestinian prime minister.
The fact that Abbas was an inveterate Jew-hater who spent four decades in the senior leadership of a terrorist organization and whose doctoral dissertation was a long denial of the Holocaust, was brushed aside.
His leftist supporters don’t care that he says Israel has no right to exist. They are untroubled by his 2008 rejection of then-prime minister Ehud Olmert’s unprecedentedly generous offer of peace and Palestinian statehood. They don’t mind that Abbas has refused to negotiate peace with Israel for the past four years. They don’t care that he has signed two unity government deals with Hamas or that he seeks to gain sovereignty for a Palestinian state through the UN and so establish a Palestinian state in a formal state of war with Israel.
They don’t care. But most Israelis do. Due to their recognition of his hatred for Israel and due to the terrorism Abbas has condoned and financed for decades, the vast majority of Israelis do not consider him a potential partner for peace. They do not believe that either Abbas or the Palestinians as a whole are remotely interested in being appeased by Israel.
As a consequence, most Israelis greeted Abbas’s speech at the UN General Assembly last week with indifference. In that speech, Abbas made clear – yet again – that he remains Arafat’s loyal deputy. The majority of Abbas’s speech involved a litany of libels against Israel, which he accused of everything from terrorism to apartheid, colonialism, racism, murder, theft, etc., etc., etc.
Then he moved on to his demands. In addition to reinstating his demand that Israel agree to every Palestinian demand as a precondition for negotiations, Abbas demanded that Israel release all Palestinian terrorists from its prisons.
No, none of Abbas’s attacks had an iota of truth to them.
But who cares? Abbas certainly doesn’t. And neither do his supporters. Their support for Abbas has nothing to do with what he says or does. It has to do with who they are and what they want. Abbas is their prop, not their partner.
Abbas’s Israeli supporters are the core of far-leftists who brought us the phony peace process with the PLO. Two thousand dead Israelis later, and with no peace in sight, their camp is much smaller today than it was in 1993. But it is still dedicated. And it is overpopulated by members of the media.
TIPPING HIS hat to this group, this week Defense Minister Ehud Barak announced in a media interview that he thinks that Israel should unilaterally withdraw from much of Judea and Samaria.
For most Israelis, Barak’s plan is self-evidently insane.
We left Gaza and see the consequences of that unilateral withdrawal every day as southern Israel is bombarded with missiles and rockets. We left and Gaza was transformed into a hub for global jihad, increasingly indistinguishable from Sinai. The very notion that our defense chief could suggest adopting an identical strategy for Judea and Samaria is both obscene and frightening.
What can he be thinking? Barak is thinking about elections, which are apparently about to be called. Barak thinks his best bet politically is to try to win the support of Abbas’s ever shrinking support base.
Barak lost his political base when he left the Labor Party and formed his own Independence faction with other breakaway Labor politicians at the beginning of 2011. He needs Abbas’s Israeli supporters to vote for him if he is to get elected to the next Knesset. Even more crucially, Barak needs Abbas’s supporters in the Israeli media. So to win their support, he opted to run on a platform of expelling Jews from their homes.
Barak’s move doesn’t tell us anything we don’t already know about him. He remains the political opportunist he has always been. His move is interesting because of what it reveals about the nature of Israel’s Left.
There is no rational way to argue that Israel can gain any advantage by surrendering Judea and Samaria to the Palestinians. If Israel departs, either Abbas will gobble up the territory and demand more, or he will swallow the concession and get swallowed by Hamas, which will demand more – as happened in Gaza.
Either way, Israel loses.
But that doesn’t matter for the Left. The Left continues to support Israeli withdrawals because its members know that the biggest loser of such an action won’t be Israel as a whole. It will be the Israeli Right. And that is all the Left cares about.
The only enemy they are interested in fighting, the only adversary they wish to defeat, is their fellow Israelis. And in a bid to win their support at the ballot box – and on the evening news – Barak has decided to embrace their cause. He will fight their fight against their Israeli enemies for them.
The Israeli Left is not alone in its belief that its number one priority is to destroy its domestic political opposition. Throughout the Western world, the political Left is increasingly rallying around positions that are in fundamental conflict with their nation’s interests as well as with the specific ideological commitments of the Left, for the sole purpose of gaining and maintaining power.
In recent weeks, the Left in the US has exposed its motivations and purpose in profoundly troubling ways. If Jewish settlement of the Land of Israel is the core of the Zionist revolution, freedom of speech is the foundation of America. Without Jewish settlement, there is no Israel. Without freedom of speech, there is no America.
IN RECENT weeks, US President Barack Obama and all of his senior aides and supporters have launched an assault on freedom of speech. They have attacked previously unknown figures because they dared to exercise their freedom of speech to produce an anti-Islamic film and broadcast it on YouTube. The White House pressured Google (which owns YouTube) to take the movie down. Obama’s media supporters have gone along with this shocking assault on bedrock American principles.
The Left’s support for Obama’s bid to repress freedom of speech in relation to the movie was not an isolated incident. Today the enlightened leftists of New York and Washington are apoplectic because a federal judge required New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority to post paid advertisements by the Stop the Islamization of America human rights group calling for Americans to support Israel against jihad.
The content of the ads is self-evidently reasonable. They read, “In any war between the savage and the civilized man, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad.”
SIOA’s founder Pamela Geller submitted the ads to the MTA last year in response to a rash of anti- Israel ads calling for the US to end its support for the Jewish state. Those ads were published on New York buses and subways and on public transportation around the US.
The MTA rejected SIOA’s ad but the group sued. Citing the US Constitution, the court required the MTA to post them. When after a year’s delay the ads were finally posted last week, the US Left in the media and beyond had a collective fit.
From The New York Times to radical rabbis to pro- Islamic Christian pastors to The Washington Post, everyone is wringing their hands. In a televised debate with Geller, the anti-Israel evangelical pastor Rev. Jim Wallis condemned the ads, told Geller she was going to get Christians killed, (by what or whom, he never said), and demanded that Geller silence herself. As he put it, “Stop talking.”
It is important to be clear. The American Left doesn’t have a problem with free speech, per se. And they aren’t concerned – as Wallis would have you believe – that calling jihad savagery is going to get people killed, (by not-at-all savage jihadists).
The problem with messages like Geller’s is that talk about jihad distracts people from what the Left wants them to be thinking about.
Like the Israeli Left, the American Left doesn’t want Americans to think about the actual threats to the US emanating from the Islamic world. They want the public to think about what for them is the only real threat to their values and their ability to win and wield power.
That threat doesn’t emanate from the Islamic world where women are treated worse than farm animals, homosexuals are hanged in public squares, Christians are forcibly converted and assaulted, churches are burned to the ground, the annihilation of the Jewish people throughout the world is an ardent desire, and “Death to America” is a political program.
For the American Left, the primary threat to their way of life comes from people who oppose abortions and gay marriage and gun control. It comes from people who oppose unionization of government workers and nationalization of healthcare.
And it comes from people like Geller who state the obvious about jihad.
The reason that Islam is supposed to be immune from criticism is that for American leftists as for Israeli leftists, the only important battle is the one against domestic foes. And just as the abysmal results of leftist policies have left the Israeli Left with no choice but to shoot the messengers, so too the American Left must deal with policy failure by silencing the opposition.
In Israel, leftist appeasement of Palestinian terrorists has led to a horrific death toll and the obvious absence of peace. So the Left must silence those who have the temerity to oppose that failed policy. The Right’s most visible members are the religious Zionists, who are disproportionately situated beyond the 1949 armistice lines, and so the Left must destroy them through expulsions, no matter what the cost to Israel.
In America, the Left’s most conspicuous failure is its claim to promote women’s rights, equality and civil liberties in the culture war, even as it defends the Islamic world’s addiction to female genital mutilation, forced marriages, honor killings and executions of homosexuals for the “crime” of being gay. So the Left must silence critics of jihad and Islamism, and hope no one will notice its hypocrisy.
The upshot of all of this is that the Left must be denied its ability to dominate national discourses. Because Abbas and the pathologically Jew-hating society he leads is a threat to the Jewish state, while religious Zionists are not. And the assaults on American embassies throughout the Islamic world are not due to Internet movies, but to the savagery inherent in jihadist Islam.
In these perilous times we cannot permit ourselves to be led astray by those who insist we are our worst enemies.

Become Aware of Islamic Hypocrisy

I am a little irked by the acceptance of Islamic Supremacism by the West, especially freedom conscious America. Was the Mohammed Movie made in bad taste? Absolutely! However, the way non-Muslims are treated in Muslim dominated nations is beyond bad taste. The treatment of non-Muslims and ex-Muslims is outrageous! AND YET Freedom Conscious Americans do not display an extreme displeasure when Christians, Jews, Hindus, atheists, those that apostasize from Islam and so on whatever religion are violently abused, tortured and/or killed simply because it is offensive to Islamic Sharia Law.
Yet Muslim Apologists, Clerics and even Leftists typically find an excuse for Muslim perpetrated violence and accept that Islam was insulted. This is a double standard that I will no longer accept!
I will risk being labeled in the pejorative sense as being a bigoted Islamophobe and rail against pervading hypocrisy Muslims demand we non-Muslims (in my case a Christian) accept.

Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu writing for the Israel National News catches some information that Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas calls the existence of the Jewish Temple as alleged. This is typical double speak for claiming the Temple never existed.
Then Gedalyahu came up with a bit of logic that is lost on the West. If Abbas is claiming the Jewish Temple never existed then Abbas is saying Jesus never went through the Temple chasing out the money changers. I might it also means Jesus was never dragged to the presence of the Jewish High Priest at the Jewish Temple in the night the Sanhedrin condemned Jesus as a blasphemer for asserting he is the Son of God.
These are essential Christian beliefs of which the latter leads to the Lord Jesus Christ’s crucified death, burial and finally bodily Resurrection that delivers humanity from the bondage of this world age in which Satan is influential.
Where is the OUTRAGE from Christians in the West, particularly Biblical Christians from America?
Part of the lack of outrage is because the Western Mainstream Media (MSM) fails horribly in exposing the hatred that emanates from Islam toward Jews and Christians. There is also fault to pass upon Christian leaders as well. When the pulpit is silent about Palestinian Muslims blaspheming Jesus, then how is the Church to react appropriately in public national prayer to keep the Temple Mount at least as holy to Jews and Christians as it is to Islam.

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas frequently refers to the “alleged” Jewish Temple, but if it was not Jewish, there is no basis for Christian belief, as written in the New Testament in Matthew (21:12), that Jesus chased Jewish “moneychangers” from the Holy Temple. However, Christians so far have not reacted to the implicit denial of their belief.
The PA campaign to eradicate Jewish history at the Temple Mount, as well as in the rest of Israel, has escalated sharply in the past two years.
Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) documented and translated statements from Palestinian Authority leaders, including Abbas, his advisor Ahmad Al-Ruweidi, clerics and ministers, all of whom used the term “alleged Temple” 97 times in 2011 and 2012.
PMW pointed out that the number 97 refers only to the term “alleged Temple” and does not include thousands of other denials of the existence of the First and Second Temples and Jewish history in the rest of Israel. Many Jewish sites, such as Rachel’s Tomb at the edge of Bethlehem and less than a mile from Jerusalem, has been given an Arab name by the PA, whose clerics claim it was a Muslim site – before Islam was founded.
Last week, Abbas said in the official PA WAFA news agency and in the PA official daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, ”[Israel's] purpose is to achieve its black goals: Destroying the Al-Aqsa Mosque, building the ‘alleged Temple,’ taking over the Muslim and Christian holy sites, and destroying its [Jerusalem's] institutions in order to empty it, uproot its residents, and continue its occupation and Judaization.”
PMW also uncovered Abbas’ statement “that all of Israel’s archeological digs and tunnels… will not change the reality of the city… and will not create a [Jewish] right based on fantasy and legends.”
The statement ended, “There will be no peace, security, or stability unless the occupation [Israel], its settlements and settlers will be evacuated from our holy city and the eternal capital of our state.”
Abbas has previously declared that “Palestinian” history is 9,000 years old and said last year, on the eve of Israel’s Independence Day, “Netanyahu, you are incidental in history. We are the people of history. We are the owners of history,” PMW stated.

The White House Press Secretary Jay Carney REFUSES to answer the question: “What is the Capital of Israel?” This goes hand in hand with the BBC refusing to list Jerusalem as the Israeli Capital city. In the Olympic list of Capital cities the non-entity Palestine has its Capital city listed as East Jerusalem.
HELLO! There is NO East Jerusalem! After Israel lost the Old City of Jerusalem which included the ancient Jewish Quarter to Transjordan’s (Now Jordan) British led Arab Legion in 1948, Jordan then proceeded to annex the land that belonged to Israel via the original British Mandate for Palestine. This unilateral annexation included the Old City Jerusalem which was then dubbed East Jerusalem.
After yet another Arab invasion of Israel in 1967 and yet another Israeli victory, the land dubbed the West Bank by Jordan and East Jerusalem was reverted BACK to Israel via the same way Jordan usurped the land in 1948. If the Arab nations and Jordan in particular ever intended the land called Judea-Samaria by Israel was ever intended as a national homeland by Arab created refugees later dubbed Palestinians, THEN Jordan would have turned their conquered West Bank land into a Palestinian State.
Jordan DID NOT! In 1967 Israel reclaimed their land by military victory over invaders.
We all know the reason behind the refusal is that the Obama Administration is anti-Israel and is determined to establish a Jew-Hating Palestinian State by forcing Israel to give up land that is of Jewish Heritage INCLUDING the City of David – Jerusalem.
Israel is for Jews. In 1948 the American government recognized Israel as the Jewish State while at least FIVE Arab invading armies invading the sliver of land Israel controlled even though the British Mandate for Palestine was created to establish a homeland for the Jews reuniting them to the land God Almighty Promised to them from the time of Abraham. That Abrahamic Covenant was passed down through the child of Promise Isaac, then to Jacob, to Jacob’s 12 sons and actuated by Moses and Joshua.
As Christians we believe that Abrahamic Covenant would mean Salvation is of the Jews; thus Jesus Christ the Son of God in Divinity and the son of Mary in the flesh is from the tribe of Judah (the son of Jacob-Israel) and the lineage of King David. God promised David there would always be a descendant on the throne of Israel. Conquests and Diasporas ended the throne of David and as such religious Jews await the Messiah descendant of David to reassume the throne of David. Of course we Christians believe descendant is Jesus the Christ (the anointed Messiah) that has brought Redemption to individuals and in His Second Coming will bring Full Redemption including the nations of the Earth.
In that future time Jesus sits on the throne of David in the City of David on Mt Zion which is Jerusalem the current Capital of Israel and future Capital of the world under Divine Administration with the Twelve Apostles of the Lamb on Twelve Thrones governing the Tribes of Israel and Administrating the Nations.
Yes the Jews are still important to God as the Chosen People that reign with Christ. The Obama Administration is executing a grievous injustice by not recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel and the spiritual center of Judaism for Jews globally.

This slap to Israel’s face comes after President Obama left Prime Minister Netanyahu sitting by himself in the White House, and Obama’s administration helped the Muslim Brotherhood take power in Egypt. No doubt, if he was asked, Carney would affirm that Cairo is Egypt’s capital. But not for Israel.

I find it interesting that anytime one writes an exposé on Islam the MSM and Muslim Apologists scream to the roof tops that the writer is an Islamophobic bigot. ‘The Tennessean’ June 8th editorial describes the opposition to the construction of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro as “prejudiced” and “opponents to the free practice of religion” in response to a recently filed injunction to stop construction permanently. Quite to the contrary, these patriots only stand against the intolerance within Islam itself and its core doctrines that demand all ideologies and religions fall before it.
CAIR has entered the picture once again with the “we-know-our-rights” act, as they call the opposition to the ICM “anti-Muslim bigots”; they who in their own countries don’t let Christians build the tiniest of chapels and often murder Christians along with their nuns, priests and missionaries as occurred on June 3rd and 10th in Yelwa, Nigeria.
Islam presents many complexities wherever it inserts itself, especially in democratic societies. And yes, we must try not to make Muslim US citizens feel less than respected citizens, but they have a duty as US citizens to initiate the reformation of Islam, so that Islam’s archaic bindings and the Sunnah are removed from the Muslim community; US Muslims have a duty to respect their fellow Americans and the US Constitution and actually coexist with all other religions. As it exists now, Islam is more ideology than religion, and it cannot allow itself to be second to any other ideology… not communism… not capitalism… nor any other religion. Islam does not coexist peacefully.
Just because Robert Corlew declares Islam a religion does not make it so and neither does Islam’s 1.6 billion adherents. Only 10% of the combined Koran and Sunnah refers to God and spiritual matters; 60% presents Mohammed’s words and teachings and the remaining 30% outlines how Christians, Jews and infidels must be dealt with… reduced to slavery or second class citizenship/ “dhimmitude”, converted or killed. Islam is an ideology as dangerous to Freedom as the old Soviet-styled communism and Nazi fascism that contains a religious element… Islam is not a religion!
A furor arose recently over the NYPD’s surveillance of Muslim communities. But, how do we not inadvertently offend Muslims when their own doctrines state that the deception of non-believers/ infidels is acceptable when advancing Islam and even encourage such? Paradoxically, as long as second and third generation American born Muslims are still engaging in terrorist acts against the US, I don’t really care if a few Muslims get hurt feelings!
CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood’s chief ideologist and foremost influence was the infamous/renown Islamic theologian and scholar Sayeed Qubt. Qubt linked the Islamists’ ideology to coercive and subversive changes in social values, much as Lenin had done. He stated that any government not governed under the banner of Islam was impure, and he rejected both capitalism and communism. With the 20th century ascendancy of Islam, secularists, communists, capitalists and major religions barely survived in Islamic nations as fundamentalists intimidate, expel, convert or finally kill them… they are the exceptions rather than the rule.
It bears reminding that Qubt wrote: “It is not the function of Islam to compromise with the concepts of (Western culture) which are current in the world or to coexist in the same land…It (Western culture) derives its system from a source other than Allah… Islam cannot accept any mixing with (Western culture). Either Islam will remain or the (Western culture); no half-half situation is possible.”
Unbelievably, today America is witnessing the federal government giving Islam special dispensations to the detriment of Christianity. An ideology that threatens Freedom should not be advanced through the First Amendment or by the US government. On June 10th, ‘Tennessean’ columnist Gail Kerr reiterated the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR’s and Larry Crain’s (Church Law Institute) position that the Dept of Justice should intercede on behalf of the Murfreesboro mosque.
In 1989, investigative journalist Steve Emerson witnessed Abdullah Azzam, Osama bin Laden’s mentor, urge thousands of Muslims at the Oklahoma City Islamic conference to train for holy war and the global expansion of Islam. This sort of behavior by radical imams and failure to uphold women’s rights has kept Italy from recognizing Islam as an official religion. The US should follow Italy’s lead.
All recent Islamic revolutions began through the imams in mosques…the same sort of mosques here in America that birthed the 9-11 plot. Behind every Islamic terrorist there is an imam. And, I declare that too many imams are spiritual guides of terrorism, thus… morally speaking… terrorists themselves!
Also, last Friday it was reported by Michael DelGiorno and Dr Bill Warner that Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam had appointed a “Sharia finance compliance officer” to the Economic Community Development Center, which was enough to make an American patriot apoplectic. So, I called Tennessee’s Congressmen and Senators and Tennessee State Senator Bill Ketron. Senator Ketron’s office assured me that they were aware of this development, and they hoped to have complete answers within the next two weeks.
The best and most interesting and informative conversation that day was with Nathan Buttrey from the Governor’s office. Mr. Buttrey started somewhat disconcerted by my adamant suggestion that Sharia finance has no place in Tennessee or US government institutions. He explained that the term “Sharia finance officer” was “probably a misnomer” and that Ms Sumar Ali’s primary function is to promote and expand international trade. He also welcomed all inquiries concerning this matter at 615) 741-2001.
Nathan Buttrey profusely lauded Ms Ali. He called her “capable” and “a good advocate for high quality jobs” in Tennessee; he also stated, “It is a pleasure to work with her.” While Ms Ali is Muslim, she is also a US citizen born and raised in Waverly, TN, a Republican, and an attorney with a top secret security clearance through the US National Security Council. Does Sumar Ali’s security clearance mean much if provided by the Obama administration?
The manner in which Ms Ali deals with any nation utilizing Sharia finance is at the crux of this matter. As a Muslim, can Ms Ali divest herself of any inclination to favor Islamic nations/corporations and their Sharia finance proposals? I’m waiting for any new revelations over the next few weeks and praying for Tennessee and Our Beloved America. In the meantime, I’ll accept Nathan Buttrey’s heartfelt testament to Ms Ali’s wonderful character and good intentions for the State of Tennessee and this Great Nation… Your Land… My Land.
