ACT Email: DHS, IRS, CAIR, tea parties
Unbelievably the same IRS that targeted Conservative organizations looking for 501c(3) and 501c(4) tax status has reinstated the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as a tax exempt organization. The same CAIR that was stripped of the status for failing to file adequate returns AND still has not done has been reinstated to tax exempt status. Oh yes, the IRS has restored tax exempt status to the same CAIR that still is listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial in which convictions were handed out to HLF members for gathering tax exempt donations that were then passed on the Islamic terrorist organization Hamas. AND in case you haven’t heard Hamas is a Jew-hating terrorist organization dedicated to the destruction of Israel and often kills Jewish civilians oft times in a horrendous bloody fashion.

Today we bring you two different articles that have a common theme.
The first is a WorldNetDaily story that begins this way:
You can thank the Electronic Privacy Information Center for forcing the Department of Homeland Security to release its list of “keywords” that are used by its agents to monitor you on Twitter, Facebook and other social networking sites.
The story then lists the various “key words,” and here’s what’s revealing. You’ll find “militia” but not “jihad.” In fact, you won’t find any “key word” that links specifically to radical Islam.
The second article is also a WorldNetDaily story, which exposes how the IRS restored tax-exempt status to CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations).
In 2011, the IRS stripped CAIR of this non-profit status for failing to file non-profit tax returns for years. Yet the IRS restored CAIR’s status despite the fact that CAIR still has not filed all the information required for previous years!
Meanwhile, of course, we’ve all read about the IRS targeting of tea party, pro-national security and pro-Israel organizations.
Do these two stories suggest a pattern to you?

Is Obama Hiding Complicated Geopolitics from Americans?

Here is something to wrap your mind around. And it is a bit complicated as far as Conservatives are concerned about U.S. National Security. Obama has been supportive of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) which is dominated by Islamists now. Benghazigate probably even has something to do with Obama clandestinely arming the FSA. So the potential mind warping thing to tackle is Hamas has been training the FSA in Lebanon.
Obama has to be aware of this! The information about Hamas training FSA has become public knowledge because … CHECK THIS OUT – Hezbollah has told Hamas to clear out of Lebanon because they are training the FSA. You see, the FSA is fighting Assad who is a major client state of Iran. AND Hezbollah is a major terrorist client of Iran. AND Hezbollah basically controls Lebanon. AND Hezbollah, Hamas, the FSA, Assad’s Syrian government and Iran ALL hate Israel!
Hmm … A fellow writer friend of mine – Danny Jeffrey – believes the arms deal Chris Stevens was trying to hammer out was sending Qaddafi-Libyan arms to Hamas rather to directly to the FSA via Turkey as seems to have been the usual practice.
Now in Danny’s essay I linked to, believes the Libyan arms were diverted to Hamas to use against Israel. Was Obama possibly arming Hamas with the intention of training the FSA? If that is the case, I wonder what Israel felt about Obama sending clandestine arms through Hamas with the intention of benefiting the FSA? Did Israel protest? Was Israel in cahoots with the plan also clandestinely? Perhaps Obama and Israel were exploiting the Sunni-Shia mutual hatred for each other as a way to wedge separation between the Muslims who all basically desire Israel’s destruction regardless if they are the majority Sunni or the minority Shia? Things are getting geopolitically complicated enough that some on the Left and the Right with both agree and disagree on any path to aiding the FSA rebels against Bashar Assad’s Syrian rogue government allied to Twelver-Shia dominated Iran.
So you have to wonder what does Obama not want Americans to know about Benghazigate, don’t you think?

Prophecy: What Lies Ahead
Here is an alternative Bible Prophecy thought for you. The USA will remain the most powerful military on Earth and will enhance its military position by embracing nationalism to a greater degree. Turkey will supersede Iran as the Islamic regional power. Hamas will look to Turkey as an arbiter of destiny. Israel and Hamas will reconcile with Hamas becoming the dominant organization over Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. Turkey’s Islamic domination will lead Muslims away from Arab nationalism to a kind of Islamic Universalism leading to the reestablishment of the Caliphate under Turkish auspices.
These are just some of the predictions from Walid Shoebat that seems to be the prophetic theme of a new book “The Case for Islamophobia: America’s Final Warning.”
I am guessing the prophetic essay “Prophecy: What Lies Ahead” is a preview of what is in Walid’s book. The essay goes against the grain of recent Biblical prophecy pundits and theologians with an emphasis that the book series “Left Behind” has it wrong.
I am certain Walid’s predictions will be criticized by both geopolitists and Biblical oriented prophetic writers. Nevertheless, the case is well presented and the only real critic will be the progression of time.

President Obama’s determination to keep his Middle East outreach agenda alive, no matter how at odds with reality, continues. Yesterday, John Brennan, Deputy National Security Adviser for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, was nominated to head the CIA, replacing scandal-scarred David Petraeus. “John knows what our national security demands,” Obama announced.
“John has an invaluable perspective on the forces, the history, the culture, the politics, economics, the desire for human dignity driving so much of the changes in today’s world…He knows the risks that our intelligence professionals face every day.”
At best, the 25-year CIA veteran’s record is a mixed bag. At worst, he becomes another link in the administration’s efforts to normalize relations with Islamic terrorists.
Brennan was considered to run the CIA after the president was elected for the first time in 2008. But he withdrew his name from consideration after critics derided his support for the Bush administration’s enhanced interrogation techniques, a charge he denied. “It has been immaterial to the critics that I have been a strong opponent of many of the policies of the Bush administration such as the pre-emptive war in Iraq and coercive interrogation tactics, to include waterboarding,” Brennan wrote at the time.
In 2009, Brennan came under fire again, as the result of the colossal intelligence failure that allowed terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to board Northwest Airlines Flight 253 on Christmas Day 2009, during which he attempted to detonate an underwear bomb. Abdulmutallab was able to board the fight despite several red flags, including intercepted conversations between Abdulmutallab and American terror cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, a British visa rejection, and a warning from his own father, who went to the U.S. embassy in Abuja, where he told officials of receiving a letter in which his son talked about “sacrificing himself.”
After calls for his resignation, Brennan responded to the criticism in a USA Today editorial. “Politically motivated criticism and unfounded fear-mongering only serve the goals of al-Qaeda,” he wrote. ”Terrorists are not 100-feet tall. Nor do they deserve the abject fear they seek to instill.” One suspects those on board Flight 253 might disagree. Yet Brennan doubled down, and insisted on treating Abdulmutallab as a criminal, rather than an enemy combatant, contending that it is “naive to think that transferring Abdulmutallab to military custody would have caused an outpouring of information. There is little difference between military and civilian custody, other than an interrogator with a uniform. The suspect gets access to a lawyer, and interrogation rules are nearly identical,” Brennan contended.
Brennan further cemented his soft-on-terror credentials only days later in a February 13, 2010 speech at New York University law school’s Islamic Center. In front of a largely Muslim audience, he called for trying 9/11 terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in a civilian court. ”We are trying to push this forward as best we can, but we also need non-obstruction from certain forces in our government,” he contended. “There are stiff winds delaying us from bringing this man to justice.” Those stiff winds came from the Obama administration itself, which rejected a guilty plea from KSM in 2008, in order to try him in civilian court.
During the same speech, Brennan endorsed the administration’s determination to delete words like “jihadist” and “war on terror” from its lexicon. “They are not jihadists, for jihad is a holy struggle, an effort to purify for a legitimate purpose, and there is nothing–absolutely nothing–holy or pure or legitimate or Islamic about murdering innocent men, women and children,” Brennan insisted. “We are not waging a war against terrorism because terrorism is but a tactic that will never be defeated, any more than a tactics of war will.” In another telling moment, Brennan’s first referred to Jerusalem as al-Quds, which is its Arabic name. ”In all my travels the city I have come to love most is al-Quds, Jerusalem, where three great faiths come together,” he said.
During the question and answer period, Brennan contended that a 20 percent recidivism rate for terrorists released from Guantanamo Bay prison “isn’t that bad” when compared to the American penal system. ”People sometimes use that figure, 20 percent, say ‘Oh my goodness, one out of five detainees returned to some type of extremist activity,’” Brennan said. “You know, the American penal system, the recidivism rate is up to something about 50 percent or so, as far as return to crime. Twenty percent isn’t that bad.” That Brennan could compare one-in-five hardcore terrorists returning to the task of waging war against the West with regular criminals of all kinds, demonstrates either a monumental level of naiveté, or a disingenuousness bordering on delusion.
In another speech given in May 2010 at the Nixon Center, Brennan upped the ante yet again, asserting that that “violent extremists” are victims of “political, economic and social forces.” Reuters reveals additional comments Brennan made, following his return from Lebanon:
“Hezbollah is a very interesting organization,” Brennan told a Washington conference, citing its evolution from “purely a terrorist organization” to a militia to an organization that now has members within the parliament and the cabinet. ”There is certainly the elements of Hezbollah that are truly a concern to us what they’re doing. And what we need to do is to find ways to diminish their influence within the organization and to try to build up the more moderate elements,” Brennan said.”
Again, one might be forgiven for wondering what constitutes a “moderate” in an organization that has carried out a series of worldwide terror attacks over the course of decades, yearns for Israel’s annihilation and, prior to 9/11, was responsible for killing more Americans than any other terrorist organization in the world.
Unfortunately, Brennan’s infatuation with outreach is not limited to Hezbollah. In 2010, columnist Patrick Poole revealed that Hamas operative Kifah Mustapha was given a guided tour of the “National Counterterrorism Center and other secure government facilities, including the FBI’s training center at Quantico.” Mustapha was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land foundation case, during which his colleagues were convicted of funding Hamas, yet another U.S.-designated terrorist organization. Center for Security Policy chief Frank Gaffney, a former Reagan administration official, demanded Brennan’s resignation as a result. ”The FBI gave a guided tour of one of our most sensitive counter-terrorism facilities to a known Hamas operative,” Gaffney said. “It is clear that the cluelessness fostered by Mr. Brennan is causing an empowering of the wrong sorts of Muslims in America and endangering the American people.”
Brennan penchant for revealing America’s secrets continued in 2012. When the United States thwarted another would-be underwear bomber last May, Brennan inadvertently revealed we had a double-agent working on the case when he briefed former counter-terrorism advisors who subsequently got work as TV commentators. He told them that the bomber was never a threat because America had “inside control” of the situation. The former advisors reached the inexorable conclusion shortly thereafter. May was also the month Judicial Watch finally obtained documents, via a Freedom of Information Act, from the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA,) revealing that Brennan and Defense Department officials disclosed to Hollywood filmmakers the identity of the SEAL Team Six operator and commander involved in taking out Osama Bin Laden. A transcript of a meeting held July 14, 2011, reveals that ”documents seemingly reference John O. Brennan, Chief Counterterrorism Advisor to President Obama and Denis McDonough, who serves as President Obama’s Deputy National Security Advisor.”
“These documents, which took nine months and a federal lawsuit to disgorge from the Obama administration, show that politically-connected film makers were giving extraordinary and secret access to bin Laden raid information, including the identity of a Seal Team Six leader,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It is both ironic and hypocritical that the Obama administration stonewalled Judicial Watch’s pursuit of the bin Laden death photos, citing national security concerns, yet seemed willing to share intimate details regarding the raid to help Hollywood filmmakers release a movie ‘perfectly timed to give a home-stretch boost’ to the Obama campaign.”
All of the above suggests that John Brennan is, at the least, an extremely dubious pick to head the CIA. But a story by Associated Press columnist Kimberly Dozier entitled, “Who Will US Drones Target? Who Will Decide?” paints an even more disturbing picture of Brennan, who she contends has “seized the lead in guiding the debate on which terror leaders will be targeted for drone attacks or raids, establishing a new procedure to vet both military and CIA targets. The move concentrates power over the use of lethal U.S. force outside war zones at the White House,” she writes. She further noted that while some intelligence officials are comfortable with the new process, others expressed concern about ”how easy it has become to kill someone.”
PJ Media’s Patrick Poole puts it more directly: “John Brennan is the man under whom President Obama has consolidated the unprecedented power of assassination. He directly controls and oversees all aspects of the program that had been previously divided between the Pentagon, the CIA, and other officials,” he writes.
A soft-on-terror approach, combined with an appetite for unprecedented powers, makes John Brennan a perfect fit for a president with the same proclivities. So does a dubious mixture of incompetence and arrogance. It remains to be seen whether the Senate thinks such qualities work for the nation as a whole. Since the Senate is controlled by Democrats, one suspects that Brennan’s confirmation will be little more than a formality.

The Islamic terrorist organization Hamas is a subsidiary of the Radical Muslim organization Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas’ only reason for existing is to destroy Israel and kill Jews.

World Zionism, together with imperialistic powers, try through a studied plan and an intelligent strategy to remove one Arab state after another from the circle of struggle against Zionism, in order to have it finally face the Palestinian people only. I focused on actual threats to the lives of Jewish people and to the nation of Israel. Although Jews often differentiate between Zionism and Judaism, the Hamas charter reference of Zionism or Zionist is referring to the nation of Israel.
If you read the ADL excerpts of the Hamas charter in its entire post you there is a great interest in Hamas hating the West. Civic organizations that Americans take for granted are viewed by Hamas as purveyors of immorality to corrupt Muslims:
The Zionist invasion is a vicious invasion. It does not refrain from resorting to all methods, using all evil and contemptible ways to achieve its end. It relies greatly in its infiltration and espionage operations on the secret organizations it gave rise to, such as the Freemasons, The Rotary and Lions clubs, and other sabotage groups. All these organizations, whether secret or open, work in the interest of Zionism and according to its instructions. They aim at undermining societies, destroying values, corrupting consciences, deteriorating character and annihilating Islam. It is behind the drug trade and alcoholism in all its kinds so as to facilitate its control and expansion. (Ibid.)
Just so I am clear, Hamas is a Jew-Hating and Western-hating (especially Americans and American Christians) organization committed to murdering people in their cause to steal the Jewish Homeland from Jewish people. I say steal because there has never been a nation of Muslim-Arabs that belonged to culture of Palestine. The term “Palestine” did not really exist as a location in modern history until after WWI when the European victors carved up the Arab portion of the defeated Ottoman Empire (present day Turkey). The British managed a League of Nations Mandate called Palestine which was specifically carved out for persecuted Jews to move back to the Land their ancestors were expelled from by Romans. In fact the majority of Arabs that live in the areas of Judea-Samaria and Gaza are descendants of Arabs that were migrant workers coming to work for Jews that had turned neglected land back into agriculturally producing land.
Hamas and the Palestinian Authority (PA) are essentially two separate entities. Hamas governs Gaza and the PA governs the Arab population of Judea-Samaria (aka the West Bank as termed by Jordan after its 1948 conquest of Jewish land). Essentially the PA is made up of the Arab League created Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PLO was created by the Arab League with the specific purpose of giving Muslim Arab nations a reason to invade Israel to destroy it and kill Jews.
In the midst of all this hatred perpetrated by Arabs that call themselves Palestinians, the USA and the EU insist on turning Judea-Samaria and Gaza into a Palestinian State. The PA lies to the West about peaceful intentions while their schools and media teach Jew-Hatred constantly reinforce that someday there will be no Israel.
The Western media and especially the American media participate in abject failure in informing their public of the nefarious designs of the leadership of the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. For instance has anyone heard during the Christmas season 2012 that the PA allowed Hamas to stage rallies celebrating their anniversary of existence. Part of that celebration is memorializing Islamic terrorists that committed homicide by via suicide explosions. These murderers are celebrated as heroic martyrs that they call shaheeds.
This despicable to be a party to setting up a sovereign nation that has only one purpose to exist; viz., destroy Israel and kill Jews.

Hamas held mass rallies throughout Judea and Samaria to mark the 25th anniversary of its founding.

Overview
1. The Palestinian Authority recently allowed Hamas operatives in Judea and Samaria to hold mass public events to mark the 25th anniversary of the movement’s founding. They were held in the main cities and on university campuses in Judea and Samaria, primarily in Nablus, Hebron, Qalqiliya and Tulkarm. Thousands of Palestinians participated, a clear demonstration of Hamas’ power in Judea and Samaria after four years in which the Palestinian Authority forbade or limited public Hamas activities. The PA’s security services oversaw the rallies and prevented them from turning into violent confrontations with the IDF.
2. The rallies emphasized Hamas’ narrative of “victory” in Operation Pillar of Defense. Demonstrators carried models of rockets and listened to speeches given by Hamas activists in Judea and Samaria and from the Gaza Strip. The speeches, especially those by Hamas activists and operatives in the Gaza Strip, stressed the importance of the path of terrorism (jihad and the so-called “resistance”) as the only way to restore the Palestinians’ “full rights” (i.e., the destruction of the State of Israel). Senior Hamas figures called for strengthening the “resistance” in Judea and Samaria, claiming that all local, regional and international conditions were ripe for a third intifada, which would be “hard and decisive.”[1]
3. Providing the unusual authorization for Hamas to hold mass rallies in Judea and Samaria is part of the PA’s current policy of redefining the limits placed on its political rivals and promoting an atmosphere of reconciliation.[2] It is a trend which has continued for the past year and a half, especially since the reconciliation agreement (signed in May 2011) and the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange deal (October 2011). Since then Hamas has significantly increased its public presence in Judea and Samaria, especially on issues where a Palestinian consensus is perceived to exist (such as the struggle of the Palestinian terrorist operatives imprisoned in Israeli jails). At the same time the PA allows the Hamas media to operate, and they cover various events through the prism of Hamas, inciting the local populace to terrorism and goading Palestinians to revolt against Israel. The most prominent media with correspondents on the ground in Judea and Samaria are Al-Aqsa TV, which broadcasts from the Gaza Strip, and Al-Quds TV, which broadcasts from Beirut.
4. In our assessment the Palestinian Authority gave Hamas permission to hold mass rallies because it understood that given the atmosphere prevailing in the Arab world in general and on the Palestinian street in particular, it would be hard to prevent such rallies from being held. Therefore, the PA considered it best to allow the local residents let off steam under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority and its security services. In addition, permission may have been given as a signal to Israel and the international community as to the possible consequences of a political freeze and the need to strengthen the PA.
5. The mass participation of the Palestinian population in the rallies reflects, in our assessment, extensive support for Hamas in Judea and Samaria.[3] The support for Hamas and its accompanying incitement to terrorism are liable to contribute to an increase in violence in Judea and Samaria, even if the PA can be expected to prevent the situation from getting out of control. Violence in Judea and Samaria, so far limited to various types of “popular” activities (throwing stones and Molotov cocktails and attacking IDF soldiers), has risen since Operation Pillar of Defense, and especially since the upgrading of the PA’s status in the UN.
Events Organized by Hamas to Mark the Anniversary of Its Founding
Overview
6. Hamas marked the 25th anniversary of its founding with a series of mass rallies and demonstrations throughout Judea and Samaria. The main rallies were held in the large cities, among them Nablus, Hebron, Ramallah, Qalqiliya and Tulkarm. They stressed the “victory” of the Palestinian “resistance” during Operation Pillar of Defense. The demonstrators carried models of Hamas-produced M75 rockets fired into central Israel which symbolized the “resistance” and “victory.” Senior figures from Hamas and the other terrorist organizations participated in the rallies. Some of the speakers, especially Hamas activists from the Gaza Strip who spoke by telephone, praised of the right to “resistance” and jihad. The rallies were held under the supervision of the PA’s security services, which prevented them from turning into confrontations with the IDF.
Events in Hebron
7. A mass rally was held in Hebron, attended by Aziz Dweik, Hamas activist and chairman of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), and representatives from the local Palestinian organizations. Ismail Haniya greeted the participants in a telephone conversation from the Gaza Strip. Aziz Dweik appealed to Mahmoud Abbas to end the internal Palestinian schism, to stop the so-called “political detentions” in Judea and Samaria and to release Hamas prisoners in PA jails (Safa News Agency, December 14, 2012). Palestinian police stationed at a distance followed the rally and prevented friction with IDF forces (Ajnad Facebook page, December 14, 2012).

8. On December 18 Hamas held a rally at the Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU) in Hebron. Hundreds of Hamas-flag waving students participated. They held a military display in which they wore uniforms and carried models of rockets. Aziz Dweik, Hamas chairman of the PLC, attended, as did other Hamas Council member, representatives of the university administration, and members of the families of Palestinian terrorist operatives who had been imprisoned or killed.
9. Aziz Dweik gave a speech in which he blessed the “shaheeds” who were PPU graduates, saying that “the path of Hamas is the path of the victory of the truth over the lie, the victory of the resistance over the occupation and its collaborators.” Fawzi Barhoum, Hamas spokesman in the Gaza Strip, gave a speech by telephone in which he said that “Hamas has written the path to liberation in blood and resistance, and from the beginning of the operation [Operation Pillar of Defense] had ensured victory” (Filastin al-’Aan, December 18, 2012).

10. On December 13 a mass rally was held in the center of Nablus. After the afternoon prayer at the Al-Nasr mosque, participants gathered in Al-Shuhadaa Square in the center of the city, where the rally was held. It was attended by representatives from the PLC, the governor of the Nablus district and other prominent public figures (Safa News Agency, December 13, 2012). Among the participants was Amin Maqboul, secretary of Fatah’s Revolutionary Council.
11. A telephone-transmitted speech was made by Husam Badran, a terrorist operative who had been released from jail and deported to the Gaza Strip. He said that “resistance” [i.e., terrorism and violence] was the only way to restore the rights of the Palestinian people and the only way to achieve national unity. Amin Maqboul also spoke, praising Hamas and the “hands which brought victory in Operation Pillar of Defense” (Safa News Agency, December 13, 2012).
12. According to Adnan al-Dhmeiri, spokesman for the security services of the Palestinian Authority, the district government had authorized Hamas to hold the rally. He claimed the reason was the “positive atmosphere and victory of all the organizations over Israeli aggression in Gaza and Mahmoud Abbas’ achievement in the UN” (Ma’an News Agency, December 10, 2012).
Ramallah
Tulkarm
13. The rally in Tulkarm took place on December 14. Demonstrators waved Hamas and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in favor of “resistance.” A speech was given by Hassan Khraisheh, Hamas-affiliated deputy speaker of the PLC. He said that the Palestinian people wanted to unite under the banner of the resistance (Ajnad News, December 14, 2012).
Qalqiliya
14. The rally in Qalqiliya was held on December 15. Demonstrators chanted slogans in support of Hamas and its military-terrorist wing in light of Operation Pillar of Defense, and called for national Palestinian unity. A speech was given by Nasser Abd al-Jawad, a Hamas-faction member of the PLC, in which he said that Hamas’ presence in Judea and Samaria was alive and well despite the difficulties it had encountered in recent years. Speaking via telephone, Sheikh Talal al-Baz, a Hamas terrorist operative released from an Israeli jail and today living in Qatar, stressed Hamas’ adherence to the idea of jihad and “resistance” [i.e., terrorism] until the so-called “liberation” of Palestine (Alresala.net website, December 15, 2012).
Hamas Exhibition at Beir Zeit University
15. On December 10, before the rallies were held, the Islamic block at Beir Zeit University marked the 25th anniversary of the founding of Hamas with a series of events. Students marched across the campus holding Hamas flags and signs in support of Hamas, as well as models of rockets and pictures of senior Hamas figures and prisoners. After the march a rally was held with the theme “the path to victory.” It was attended by family members of Palestinians who had been killed, prisoners who had been released and Hamas-faction members of the PLC, among them Jamal al Tawil, Ahmed Attoun and Muhammad Abu Tir. Hama arch-terrorist Yahya Ayash’s mother spoke at the rally, as did the mother of suicide bomber Ihab Abu Salim (Paltoday and Safa News Agency, December 10, 2012).
16. There was also an exhibition on campus to celebrate Hamas’ so-called “victory” in Operation Pillar of Defense. It was held at the entrance to the department of literature and featured pictures and models of M75 rockets (medium-range rockets manufactured in the Gaza Strip with Iranian technology). There were pictures of Ahmed al-Jaabari and other terrorist operatives who had been killed during the operation. The entrance to the exhibition was carpeted with a large Israeli flag for visitors to walk on (Safa News Agency and Filastin al-’Aan, December 4 and 5, 2012).

Palestinian Authority leaders have condemned Israel’s killing of Ahmed Al-Ja’abari, head of Hamas’ military wing, which came as a response to Hamas’ and other terrorist organizations’ continuous rocket attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip.
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas demanded that the “Arab countries in the Security Council discuss courses of action to end the [Israeli] aggression,” while Prime Minister Salam Fayyad “called on the international community to do its duty, act immediately to stop this escalation [and] force Israel to stop its aggression.”
Palestinian Media Watch has documented Al-Ja’abari’s statements on killing Jews on the soil of Palestine, “liberation of all of Palestine,” rockets that can strike Israel, and women’s participation in Jihad.
In a headline, the PA’s official daily referred to Al-Ja’abari’s death as Shahada - Martyrdom death for Allah, calling it “the crowning achievement of his life of struggle.” The article also said that “his self-sacrificing actions (i.e., terror attacks) will be told for generations to come and will be eternalized in memory.” Likewise, Abbas’ advisor Al-Aloul called Al-Ja’abari “the Martyr of the entire Palestinian people,” whereas a host on official PA TV sent “condolences to all of the Palestinian people on his death as a Martyr (Shahid).”
Others, such as PLO Executive Committee member Saeb Erekat, demonized Israel by referring to an Israeli “policy of war and terror.” Erekat stated in a press release:
“The fact that Israel continues to kill and target our defenseless people in the Gaza Strip is nothing but the continuation of [its] policy of war and terror. We place sole responsibility on the Israeli government and demand that it stop spilling the blood of our people for the purpose of election campaigns.”
Similarly, Israeli Arab member of Israeli Parliament Muhammad Barakeh said that “the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, has decided to strengthen his rule at the expense of Palestinian blood.”

Launching what has been named “Operation Pillar of Defense,” Israel killed the head of Hamas’ military wing Ahmed Al-Ja’abari yesterday. The operation comes as a response to Hamas’ and other terrorist organizations’ continuous rocket attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip.
Al-Ja’abari was a member of Hamas’ political bureau and the leader of Hamas’ military wing since 2002. He actively encouraged suicide bombings and other terrorist attacks against Israel.
Al-Ja’abari was Hamas’ chief negotiator during the negotiations to release Hamas-captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.
When asked in an interview on Al-Jazeera in 2006 about targeting civilians, Al-Ja’abari said:
“The Jew who comes to the soil of Palestine is a murderer, a criminal, a thief and an occupier. That is the Jew we are fighting. Whereas the Jew in his synagogue in Britain or in the US, we have nothing to do with him. But if he comes to the soil of Palestine – then he is fighting us, and we will fight him and kill him on the soil of Palestine.”
Following Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip in 2005, Al-Ja’abari encouraged members of Hamas’ military wing, the “brave Jihad fighters,” to “sacrifice [their] souls for the sake of Allah” in order to liberate “Jerusalem, the West Bank, Haifa, Jaffa, and Tel Aviv, until the liberation of the homeland, all of Palestine.”
In another statement around the same time, Al-Ja’abari expressed satisfaction that Hamas possessed “the technology that can precisely strike the city of Sderot (town in southern Israel) and other places in the ’48 territories (i.e., Israel).”
Palestinian Media Watch has also documented Al-Ja’abari’s praise for Palestinian women who participate in Jihad against Israel.

The Left’s only enemy
Evidently the nation of Israel is experiencing the same Left-Right polarization that the USA is experiencing. Mahmoud Abbas stood at the UN podium and spoke egregious lie after lie (See Commentary on Abbas Lies) about Israel. The Israeli Right quite properly expressed the reality about Arabs that call themselves Palestinians; i.e. LIAR.
But here is some incredulity! The Israeli Left and the American Left praised the leader of the Palestinian Authority (PA – See Also Jewish Virtual Library) and Chairman of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) as a great seeking Liberty and Freedom for the non-existent group of Arabs that maintain they are Palestinians. Arabs as Palestinians did not exist until the Arab League via Egypt set up the PLO (Early Seeds of PLO: HERE and HERE) to create a reason for continuous attacks on Independent Israel to exterminate all the Jews living there. That creation date was 1964. Israel’s hard fought Independence from about SIX invading Muslim Arab armies were won in 1948.
Caroline Glick exposes the Leftists of America and Israel. Her theme is that American Leftists and Israeli Leftists don’t see a foreign enemy; rather they see their fellow citizens of the Right as the enemy. If the Left succeeds, Israel’s existence will be very tenuous.

The Left’s only enemy

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s legal term in office expired nearly four years ago. But his supporters don’t care. In Israel, Washington and throughout the world, Abbas’s supporters extol the authoritarian leader as a great moderate. In 2002, desperately searching for a face for the Palestinians that wasn’t Yasser Arafat’s face, the Left pushed Abbas out from behind Arafat’s shadow. Abbas, who served as Arafat’s deputy for 39 years, was upheld as a great moderate and placed in the invented position of Palestinian prime minister.
The fact that Abbas was an inveterate Jew-hater who spent four decades in the senior leadership of a terrorist organization and whose doctoral dissertation was a long denial of the Holocaust, was brushed aside.
His leftist supporters don’t care that he says Israel has no right to exist. They are untroubled by his 2008 rejection of then-prime minister Ehud Olmert’s unprecedentedly generous offer of peace and Palestinian statehood. They don’t mind that Abbas has refused to negotiate peace with Israel for the past four years. They don’t care that he has signed two unity government deals with Hamas or that he seeks to gain sovereignty for a Palestinian state through the UN and so establish a Palestinian state in a formal state of war with Israel.
They don’t care. But most Israelis do. Due to their recognition of his hatred for Israel and due to the terrorism Abbas has condoned and financed for decades, the vast majority of Israelis do not consider him a potential partner for peace. They do not believe that either Abbas or the Palestinians as a whole are remotely interested in being appeased by Israel.
As a consequence, most Israelis greeted Abbas’s speech at the UN General Assembly last week with indifference. In that speech, Abbas made clear – yet again – that he remains Arafat’s loyal deputy. The majority of Abbas’s speech involved a litany of libels against Israel, which he accused of everything from terrorism to apartheid, colonialism, racism, murder, theft, etc., etc., etc.
Then he moved on to his demands. In addition to reinstating his demand that Israel agree to every Palestinian demand as a precondition for negotiations, Abbas demanded that Israel release all Palestinian terrorists from its prisons.
No, none of Abbas’s attacks had an iota of truth to them.
But who cares? Abbas certainly doesn’t. And neither do his supporters. Their support for Abbas has nothing to do with what he says or does. It has to do with who they are and what they want. Abbas is their prop, not their partner.
Abbas’s Israeli supporters are the core of far-leftists who brought us the phony peace process with the PLO. Two thousand dead Israelis later, and with no peace in sight, their camp is much smaller today than it was in 1993. But it is still dedicated. And it is overpopulated by members of the media.
TIPPING HIS hat to this group, this week Defense Minister Ehud Barak announced in a media interview that he thinks that Israel should unilaterally withdraw from much of Judea and Samaria.
For most Israelis, Barak’s plan is self-evidently insane.
We left Gaza and see the consequences of that unilateral withdrawal every day as southern Israel is bombarded with missiles and rockets. We left and Gaza was transformed into a hub for global jihad, increasingly indistinguishable from Sinai. The very notion that our defense chief could suggest adopting an identical strategy for Judea and Samaria is both obscene and frightening.
What can he be thinking? Barak is thinking about elections, which are apparently about to be called. Barak thinks his best bet politically is to try to win the support of Abbas’s ever shrinking support base.
Barak lost his political base when he left the Labor Party and formed his own Independence faction with other breakaway Labor politicians at the beginning of 2011. He needs Abbas’s Israeli supporters to vote for him if he is to get elected to the next Knesset. Even more crucially, Barak needs Abbas’s supporters in the Israeli media. So to win their support, he opted to run on a platform of expelling Jews from their homes.
Barak’s move doesn’t tell us anything we don’t already know about him. He remains the political opportunist he has always been. His move is interesting because of what it reveals about the nature of Israel’s Left.
There is no rational way to argue that Israel can gain any advantage by surrendering Judea and Samaria to the Palestinians. If Israel departs, either Abbas will gobble up the territory and demand more, or he will swallow the concession and get swallowed by Hamas, which will demand more – as happened in Gaza.
Either way, Israel loses.
But that doesn’t matter for the Left. The Left continues to support Israeli withdrawals because its members know that the biggest loser of such an action won’t be Israel as a whole. It will be the Israeli Right. And that is all the Left cares about.
The only enemy they are interested in fighting, the only adversary they wish to defeat, is their fellow Israelis. And in a bid to win their support at the ballot box – and on the evening news – Barak has decided to embrace their cause. He will fight their fight against their Israeli enemies for them.
The Israeli Left is not alone in its belief that its number one priority is to destroy its domestic political opposition. Throughout the Western world, the political Left is increasingly rallying around positions that are in fundamental conflict with their nation’s interests as well as with the specific ideological commitments of the Left, for the sole purpose of gaining and maintaining power.
In recent weeks, the Left in the US has exposed its motivations and purpose in profoundly troubling ways. If Jewish settlement of the Land of Israel is the core of the Zionist revolution, freedom of speech is the foundation of America. Without Jewish settlement, there is no Israel. Without freedom of speech, there is no America.
IN RECENT weeks, US President Barack Obama and all of his senior aides and supporters have launched an assault on freedom of speech. They have attacked previously unknown figures because they dared to exercise their freedom of speech to produce an anti-Islamic film and broadcast it on YouTube. The White House pressured Google (which owns YouTube) to take the movie down. Obama’s media supporters have gone along with this shocking assault on bedrock American principles.
The Left’s support for Obama’s bid to repress freedom of speech in relation to the movie was not an isolated incident. Today the enlightened leftists of New York and Washington are apoplectic because a federal judge required New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority to post paid advertisements by the Stop the Islamization of America human rights group calling for Americans to support Israel against jihad.
The content of the ads is self-evidently reasonable. They read, “In any war between the savage and the civilized man, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad.”
SIOA’s founder Pamela Geller submitted the ads to the MTA last year in response to a rash of anti- Israel ads calling for the US to end its support for the Jewish state. Those ads were published on New York buses and subways and on public transportation around the US.
The MTA rejected SIOA’s ad but the group sued. Citing the US Constitution, the court required the MTA to post them. When after a year’s delay the ads were finally posted last week, the US Left in the media and beyond had a collective fit.
From The New York Times to radical rabbis to pro- Islamic Christian pastors to The Washington Post, everyone is wringing their hands. In a televised debate with Geller, the anti-Israel evangelical pastor Rev. Jim Wallis condemned the ads, told Geller she was going to get Christians killed, (by what or whom, he never said), and demanded that Geller silence herself. As he put it, “Stop talking.”
It is important to be clear. The American Left doesn’t have a problem with free speech, per se. And they aren’t concerned – as Wallis would have you believe – that calling jihad savagery is going to get people killed, (by not-at-all savage jihadists).
The problem with messages like Geller’s is that talk about jihad distracts people from what the Left wants them to be thinking about.
Like the Israeli Left, the American Left doesn’t want Americans to think about the actual threats to the US emanating from the Islamic world. They want the public to think about what for them is the only real threat to their values and their ability to win and wield power.
That threat doesn’t emanate from the Islamic world where women are treated worse than farm animals, homosexuals are hanged in public squares, Christians are forcibly converted and assaulted, churches are burned to the ground, the annihilation of the Jewish people throughout the world is an ardent desire, and “Death to America” is a political program.
For the American Left, the primary threat to their way of life comes from people who oppose abortions and gay marriage and gun control. It comes from people who oppose unionization of government workers and nationalization of healthcare.
And it comes from people like Geller who state the obvious about jihad.
The reason that Islam is supposed to be immune from criticism is that for American leftists as for Israeli leftists, the only important battle is the one against domestic foes. And just as the abysmal results of leftist policies have left the Israeli Left with no choice but to shoot the messengers, so too the American Left must deal with policy failure by silencing the opposition.
In Israel, leftist appeasement of Palestinian terrorists has led to a horrific death toll and the obvious absence of peace. So the Left must silence those who have the temerity to oppose that failed policy. The Right’s most visible members are the religious Zionists, who are disproportionately situated beyond the 1949 armistice lines, and so the Left must destroy them through expulsions, no matter what the cost to Israel.
In America, the Left’s most conspicuous failure is its claim to promote women’s rights, equality and civil liberties in the culture war, even as it defends the Islamic world’s addiction to female genital mutilation, forced marriages, honor killings and executions of homosexuals for the “crime” of being gay. So the Left must silence critics of jihad and Islamism, and hope no one will notice its hypocrisy.
The upshot of all of this is that the Left must be denied its ability to dominate national discourses. Because Abbas and the pathologically Jew-hating society he leads is a threat to the Jewish state, while religious Zionists are not. And the assaults on American embassies throughout the Islamic world are not due to Internet movies, but to the savagery inherent in jihadist Islam.
In these perilous times we cannot permit ourselves to be led astray by those who insist we are our worst enemies.

Large numbers of learned, educated people were speaking out against Hitler and his Brown Shirts and Mussolini by as early as 1933, but Americans stood by very nearly incomprehensibly not understanding that they too were at risk until the third part of the Axis Powers, Japan, attacked on Dec 7th, 1941. In between these years, however, Americans did not know or fully understand what the Europeans were suffering under the birth of the National Socialist (Nazi) Party; they consequently could afford to disbelieve the political refugees who shouted in despair that America would be next in a long list of nations suffering misfortune at the hands of the Nazis!
About Islamic fundamentalists, on the contrary, we now know the imminent and immediate threat that they pose on a worldwide basis and through a worldwide agenda as pushed by the Wahhabiists of Saudi Arabia and the Muslim Brothers of Egypt and their minions and associates in Hezbollah, Hamas, Al Qaeda, Jaamat el-Islami, Islamic Maghreb and a host of others. Please recall that not even two months after the tragedy of 9-11 Bin Laden proved the true intent of the Islamic world, and his words reveal the truth in my contention that a Reverse Crusade is currently underway against the entire Western Civilization….a war of religion they call a Holy War, Jihad. For these Reverse Crusaders the West is a world to be conquered and subjugated by Islam!
Osama and his followers called the UN and Sec. General Kofi Annan criminals in a video which also threatened France, Italy, the UK and was only lacking the histrionics of Hitler to revisit the horrors of fascism because make no mistake, at its very core, its heart, lies the worse of anything imaginable that fascism can and will implement; however, “in its essence, this is a war of religion and those who deny it are liars” (quote Osama bin Laden), and in this I am in agreement with the enemy!
Osama went on to say…”The Arab and Muslim leaders who sit at the UN and share its politics place themselves outside Islam. They are Unfaithful…Those who claim the legitimacy of international institutions give up the only authentic legitimacy…which comes from the Koran. And finally, “The overwhelming majority of the Muslims have been happy with the attacks on the Twin Towers. Our polls confirm it.” Yes, unbelievably Osama had run a scientific poll, but remember, he was highly educated by the Royal family after the death of his father. From Afghanistan to Sudan, from Palestine to Pakistan, from Malaysia to Iran, from Egypt to Iraq, from Algeria to Senegal, from Libya to Chad, from Kenya to Syria, from Morocco to Lebanon, from Yemen to Indonesia and from Somalia to Saudi Arabia, the hate for America and the West swells like a fire fed by the wind!

Palestine Authority/Hamas Truly Practice Apartheid

Muslim Apologists have used half-truths (which means the goal is to lie) to convince students on college campuses across the USA that Israel is an Apartheid State. The implication comes from South Africa in which minority White Africans that had their heritage in Europe ruled the Black majority as a privileged class and treated Blacks as second class citizens.
Israel has NOT EVER even come close to existing as something in which non-Jews are treated as second class citizens. The Arab-Muslim minority citizens of Israel have the same Civil Rights afforded to Jews. Indeed, regardless of the propaganda a majority of Arab-Muslims that are citizens of Israel have no intention of living anywhere else than Israel. And friends, this desire to remain Israeli citizens is not because of the myth of the right of return for Palestinians. Arab-Muslim Israeli citizens simply do not desire to live substandard lives in Sharia based traditions of Arab-Muslim nations.
The Apartheid accusation against Israel is because of the existence of Arabs without a nation living Judea-Samaria and Gaza. Get a clue world! The PA has a degree of autonomous administration in Judea-Samaria. The Islamic terrorist organization Hamas has near unchallenged administration in Gaza. Both the PA and Hamas educate their Arab constituents from cradle to grave to hate Jews and that Israel must be terrorized out of existence and the Jews obliterated in yet another Holocaust.
This hatred is spewed against Israel and yet the world expects Israel to supply the PA and Hamas with an infrastructure of services that provides electricity, food, medicine and so on. Everyone expects Israel to utilize tolerant restraint when of acts of terrorism occur from terrorist attacks, homicidal suicide bombings and missile attacks. You see because of the brainwashing of these Arabs by their Islamic terrorist leaders has bred a culture in which Jewish deaths are celebrated as the will of Allah. Whole families support a shahid (Modern day Islamic terrorists: homicidal suicide bomber) in their quest to kill as many Jews as possible on their deluded belief of an express ticket to a paradise of virgins to comfort them in every sexual fantasy envisioned.
So when Israel builds a very effective fence making more difficult for Islamic terrorists from crossing into Israel from Judea-Samaria strongholds, propaganda has termed this persecution. When the Israeli government orders the bulldozing of the house of a celebrating family of a shahid, Muslim Apologists cry persecution yet the reality it is a war. The West has difficulty comprehending that civilian Arabs that call themselves Palestinians are citizen warriors in jihad against Jews and the Jewish State of Israel.
You need to keep this all in mind and feel the outrage that Caroline Glick expresses at learning that released Islamic terrorists in the Shalit for thousands of terrorists deal is already baring fruit of Jew-Hating Muslims preparing killings and kidnappings. Or that PA jurisprudence convicts an Arab of selling land to Jews with the death penalty. Or that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did not rebuke a Muslim desiring Israel’s destruction for asking: Why do Democrats and Republicans both support Israel? Be outraged that Clinton responded to the effect that is a valid question to ask!
