I have not paid real close attention to the news during the Christmas-New Year’s season; however the scant amount of news I did listen seemed to project the Rep. Boehner is secure in retaining his Speakership in the House. This is important because Boehner has indicated bending toward President Barack Hussein Obama’s will that pertains to the budget-deficit-fiscal cliff crisis.
Now I realize with a Socialist-Dem Party President some give and take is necessary to keep government operating. However, Boehner appears way to accommodating in the give part of negotiation and not stubborn on the take part of negotiation.
Due to Boehner’s inability to get some Conservative initiatives to match Obama’s Left Wing agenda, many Conservatives are calling for the GOP House majority to replace Speaker Boehner.
Here is some information on replacing Speaker Boehner I discovered on the Tea Party News Network (TPNN).
More Sources Claim Boehner’s On the Way Out as Speaker
By Greg Campbell – TPNN Contributor

Speculation continues to heat up across Capitol Hill regarding Speaker of the House John Boehner’s future as Speaker. As TPNN reported yesterday, whispers were abound as Congressional sources claimed that efforts were underway to unseat Boehner. Now, as a new Congress is about to begin, sources are claiming that not only are there desires from Republicans to oust the moderate GOP leader, but that they may have the votes to do so.
Ron Meyer from American Majority Action claimed on Wednesday,
“I have confirmed with a group of Congressmen that Speaker Boehner will not be elected Speaker tomorrow. He will either resign or be forced out tomorrow.”
“Outgoing Louisiana Republican Rep. Jeff Landry told Breitbart News there are at least 17 GOP members who plan to unseat House Speaker John Boehner on Thursday… Landry said another member organizing the effort told him they’ve got at least 17 – which is the bare minimum needed to unseat Boehner. ‘They’re somewhere between 17 and 20,’ Landry said in a phone interview. ‘I think they’re trying to get to 25.’”
After last month’s purge by the Speaker, where conservatives were removed from key fiscal committee positions to silence opposition to any deal Boehner made, conservatives are uneasy with Boehner. However, The Hill reports that in an effort to keep his position, Boehner has promised that he will no longer negotiate with Obama one-on-one and that he is committed to “letting the House work its will.”
Many speculate that the heir presumptive is Eric Cantor, a Virginia Republican who is reported to be disliked by President Obama from having sparred with the former Minority Whip on several occasions.
During last year’s debt ceiling talks, Obama lashed out at Cantor and stormed out of a meeting, yelling, “Eric, don’t call my bluff. I’ll take this to the American people.” Cantor later stated, “When the president was faced with a policy difference, he just didn’t like it.”
While America waits to welcome the 113th Congress, Americans wait to see if political arm-twisting and moderate caving will have consequences for Boehner.

Cliff Kincaid brings Republican Majority Leader into the mix of Benghazigate and Petraeus/Allen-gate.
Yes there is a definite appearance of a connection between a Benghazi Murder Cover-up and the extramarital affairs of former CIA Director/General David Petraeus and General John Allen.
The question that requires an answer is “WHY?”
Since it is proven the Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton knew of both the nature of a Benghazi Consulate impending murder and at least the affair of David Petraeus, WHY in the world or perhaps HOW in the world did this cascade of information fail to become President?
Unless you are an idiot you know why it the information was covered up. President Barack Hussein Obama KNEW the layers of scandal and who was aware of what would cast a pall on his reelection chances. Voters would have to believe Conservatives such as I that maintain that Obama deceived Americans before 2008 and through his first term in the Office of President.
Check it out friends! Eric Cantor had the opportunity to at least expose part of this cover-up and failed. Maybe Obama had something on Cantor as well and hushed him up too. Or perhaps Cantor did not make the connection between Benghazigate and Petraeusgate. Out of respect for the awesome good Petraeus has performed for America he didn’t want to rock the Petraeus image. If that was the case then Cantor may naively felt Obama would not rock Petraeus’ image either.
Whatever the case (Lucy) there is some ‘splaining’ to do (think of a Desi Arnaz command pertaining to a Lucille Ball screw-up).
Why Did Cantor Protect Obama?

The central figures in the David Petraeus sex scandal are not talking. That includes Virginia Congressman and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Yet, the decision by this top Republican to turn to the FBI rather than his colleagues in the House with inside information about the scandal has proven to be monumental, a development that enabled Barack Obama to win the presidency without getting tainted by the allegations of immorality and corruption that are now the subject of daily news reports.
The record shows that Cantor had knowledge of the affair from an FBI whistleblower before the election but decided not to go public with the allegations of high-level misconduct by the CIA director. He stayed silent as Obama campaigned for re-election as a foreign policy statesman and efficient manager of America’s national security interests.
Cantor understood the stakes. In an October 22 column, Cantor had declared, “The American people deserve a president who recognizes that the war on terrorism is not over. They deserve a president who is dedicated to maintaining American pre-eminence in the world and who will protect our military budget, not cut it. They deserve a president who will restore and grow America’s alliances, who will prove America to be a reliable partner and a fierce enemy.”
But when he was given the David Petraeus scandal on a silver platter by an FBI whistleblower, more than a week before the election, Cantor turned the information over to the FBI, the same agency which had been conducting the cover-up on Obama’s behalf. Indeed, this cover-up is why the whistleblower came to Cantor. The predictable result of going to the FBI, headed by Robert Mueller, who was re-appointed by Obama, is that nothing was done and Obama won the election.
If Cantor had gone public, the fallout from the scandal would have rocked Obama’s presidency just before Election Day. Because the allegations were based on inside information provided by a whistleblower and were true and could not be denied, Cantor’s revelations could not have been automatically dismissed as partisan or political in nature. The FBI whistleblower might have been persuaded to go public as well.
In one of the latest developments, which demonstrates the serious nature of the scandal, Jennifer Griffin of Fox News has confirmed that Petraeus mistress Paula Broadwell did release classified information in a public forum when talking about the CIA holding prisoners at a facility in Libya. It is likely that Broadwell got the information from Petraeus.
Cantor’s failure to go public or even tell his colleagues about the scandal in advance is starting to attract more interest from the press.
“House Majority Leader Eric Cantor has some tall explaining to do to the leadership on Capitol Hill,” notes Washington Post columnist Colbert King.
King, a liberal, hit the target on this one, asking why Cantor only went to the FBI with the information. He asks, “Why didn’t Cantor raise the alarm? The majority leader needs to step up to the mic.” King notes that members of Congress are livid over being kept in the dark by the FBI about the scandal.
The only reporter to confront Cantor about his strange handling of the explosive allegations is WTVR CBS 6 Richmond, Virginia, reporter Joe St. George. Cantor told him, “I had some information that I felt was information that raised some concerns and potentially could have some impact for our nation’s security.” St. George asked Cantor about the decision to not release the information publicly prior to the election. “I don’t want to comment, I don’t think it’s something we want to politicize—I think this is a national security concern,” Cantor said.
These are fine sentiments. However, according to a November 10 article by Scott Shane and Eric Schmitt of The New York Times, Cantor’s chief of staff, Steve Stombres, called the FBI on October 31 to tell them about the call Cantor had received from the FBI whistleblower. “They took the information,” Doug Heye, Cantor’s deputy chief of staff, was quoted as saying, “and gave the standard answer: they were not able to confirm or deny any investigation, but said that all necessary steps were being taken to make sure no confidential information was at risk.”
In other words, the FBI was stonewalling Cantor. Informing the FBI had gotten nowhere. The cover-up was continuing, at least through Election Day, and Cantor at this point had to know it.
While Cantor refuses to talk in detail about why he only went to the FBI with the information, the FBI whistleblower who confided in Cantor is now under attack by the liberal press as someone “obsessed” with the case and too close to one of the participants in the scandal.
The lesson is clear: don’t go to the House Republicans with any inside knowledge of Obama Administration scandals.

Confirmed: Petraeus DID Release Classified Information to Mistress. The US Was Holding and Interrogating “Prisoners” at Benghazi Annex
Report: “Jennifer Griffin at FOX News today confirmed that the US was holding and interrogating Libyan, Arab and African prisoners at the Benghazi annex near the consulate compound, at the Benghazi annex near the consulate compound. US agents handed three prisoners over to Libyan authorities on their way out of the city on September 12. The prisoners may have been held in the compound for several days.”

Republican congressional nominee Jim Bridenstine (left) shakes hands with house majority floor leader Eric Cantor after they met with media at Hilton Southern Hills, Friday in Tulsa. CORY YOUNG/Tulsa World

I’m a Jim Bridenstine guy in the 1st District of Tulsa, OK. Bridenstine defeated incumbent John Sullivan in the GOP Primary on June 26. Sullivan of course was Republican Party choice to retain his seat and indeed Sullivan did have a good rating as a Conservative voting Representative.
Bridenstine however is the local Tea Party Choice because his campaign presented a more activist candidate than Sullivan has been. Frankly I was ready to vote for incumbent Sullivan until I saw an attack ad aimed at Bridenstine.
The attack ad questioned that Bridenstine had not voted in the last election and mentioned Governor Fallon in particular. Also the ad implied that Bridenstine was not a bona fide Oklahoman accusing him of being a transplant.
When I saw the ad I began to wonder if Sullivan was concerned about losing his Primary to a relatively unknown person. That thought bugged me because the Tulsa GOP voting base is definitely a Conservative voting base. So I checked up on the accusations from the Sullivan attack ads
I discovered that Bridenstine was a Jenks High School graduate and a combat veteran. Bridenstine is not only an Oklahoman but he also a war hero in the GWOT. My discovery really bugged me that Sullivan would take such a tact when it was probably unnecessary. I am guessing without the attack ads Sullivan would have won on incumbent GOP name recognition alone campaigning as a Conservative.
I am guessing I am not the only one that felt that way because Bridenstine came from nowhere to win the June 26 Primary.
I am writing all this (probably repetitively) because the GOP establishment has gotten over animosity and is showing support for Bridenstine to keep the 1st District as a Republican Seat.
The Tulsa World reports that not only was House Majority Leader Eric Cantor at a Friday (August 10) fund raising breakfast but so were other Oklahoman GOP Representatives INCLUDING 1st District incumbent John Sullivan.
How awesome is that?
