The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. (Amendment IV – U.S. Constitution)
I have been a huge supporter of the Patriot Act (Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001) due to the reason that this law came into existence; viz. an Islamic terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 (911) on American soil that resulted in the deaths of about 5,000 people. To the extent that the Patriot Act is a tool to examine foreign activity that results in the nefarious acts of terrorism or is a supply line monetarily to foreign terrorism is something I still support. The key is the term “foreign.”
Since 911 the Islamic terrorist paradigm has an adaptive agenda to circumvent the nature of “foreign” as related to the American Homeland. Foreign Radical Islamic global Caliphate-minded Muslims have been working for years to plant their theopolitical ideology as a homegrown paradigm. The more homegrown a Radical Islamic organization or Mosque the less the claim of ties to foreign terrorism. Currently most Islamic organizations in the USA can be traced to a foreign Saudi or Muslim Brotherhood hand in a large degree. There are actually lesser known Radical Islamic organizations associated with foreign Islamic terrorism that are not Saudi or Muslim Brotherhood; however it is less likely that those organization will separate from their parent foreign Radical Islamic connection. Inevitably the Radical Islamic homegrown planted organizations will attain a self-sufficient operation independent of foreign ties. When that happens use of the Patriot Act laws would legally be ineffective to monitor domestic criminality and will be subject to the traditional ingrained Constitutional framework of the Fourth Amendment that protects Americans from unwarranted searches of private property including snail-mail, email, telephone, Internet and so on. A Radical Muslim network divorced from their foreign founders will essentially operate mafia-style to Islamize America using the U.S. Constitution to terminate Constitutional Law in favor of Sharia Law.
I am certain the Patriot Act has been abused by stretching the reach of its mandate in protecting Americans from foreign terrorism. The Patriot Act must be updated to better accommodate the Fourth Amendment especially on a domestic level. For one thing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) needs more precise language so that relating information, broad undefined information or just plain no defined information cannot be used to acquire a FISA Court Search Warrant. The lack of specificity in legal language has made the marriage of the Patriot Act and the FISA Courts a Law Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies, a paradigm of an abuse-of-power waiting to happen. Such abuse is in direct violation of the Fourth Amendment. If Congress fails to add specificity in the Patriot Act and the Courts based on FISA, then those tools need to be scraped OR just plain be ruled unconstitutional due to the Fourth Amendment.
The ability of the devotees of Radical Islam to use the Constitution to undermine the Constitution is a reason for some kind of Surveillance Act on a foreign and domestic level to exist. In the past I have favored Security to trump Civil Rights directly in the aftermath of 911; however it has become evident the truism of ‘power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely’ has swayed me back to emphasize Civil Rights. Again, I am still a supporter of the Patriot Act, BUT not as it is codified today. There must be a balance in the use of security and Civil Rights with any erring to come down on the side of constitutionally mandated Civil Rights. Check out Judge Andrew Napolitano:
Here is an excerpt from the article by Judge Napolitano in which the above video was located:
The case or controversy requirement demands that there be real adversity between two or more distinct entities each of which has a stake in the outcome of a dispute before a federal court can exercise any jurisdiction. Federal courts can only resolve disputes; they cannot rule with finality in the abstract or when approached by only one party. They can grant preliminary temporary relief to one party — in order to freeze the status quo and in anticipation of an adversarial contest on the merits — but they cannot rule when only one party is noticed and shows up.
This is precisely how the FISA court functions, and yet we have no merit-based ruling by the Supreme Court on its constitutionality. …
But this is just what Congress did with FISA. In the FISA court, only the government appears, seeking a generalized search warrant without regard to the facts of any specific case. There is no case or controversy in the constitutional sense as there is no adversariness: No plaintiff is suing a defendant, and no defendant is being prosecuted by the government. Absent adversariness, the federal courts have no jurisdiction to do anything.
This flawed system is complicated even further by the fact that should the FISA court deny an application for a general warrant because it believes the government’s procedures to be illegal or unconstitutional, those court orders are non-binding and the government has ignored them. Unenforceable rulings that may be disregarded by another branch of the government are not judicial decisions at all, but impermissible advisory opinions prohibited by the Framers.
When a FISA court judge rules that the NSA has the constitutional power to spy on Americans about whom it has no evidence of wrongdoing, as one judge did two weeks ago, because that ruling did not emanate out of a case or controversy — no one was in court to dispute it — the court is without authority to hear the matter, and thus the ruling is meaningless.
By altering the constitutionally mandated requirement of the existence of a case or controversy before the jurisdiction of the federal courts may be invoked, Congress has lessened the protection of the right to be left alone that the Framers intentionally sought to enshrine. But don’t expect the government to wake up to this threat to our freedom. Its consistent behavior has demonstrated that it doesn’t care whether it violates the Constitution. Instead, expect the president’s secret agents and the politicians who support them to hide their wrongdoing behind more layers of secrecy. (Is the FISA Court constitutional? By Judge Andrew P. Napolitano; FoxNews.com; 9/26/13)
Marxist principles as espoused by Russia’s Lenin and Stalin and China’s Mao Zedong (or Mao Tse Tung) is a Communism that overthrows the government by means of a transforming ideological revolution. Early American Communists were enamored by Lenin’s revolution that overthrew Czarist Russia that transformed Russia into the illusory delusion of a utopia. The reality is Russia was transformed from an elitist oligarchy of nobles in which huge amounts of citizens were regarded in low estate into a Leninist-Communist oligarchy of top-down transformist police state. In Russia’s case the removal of a royal oligarchic autocracy to a Communist dictatorship did not produce individual Civil Rights. Conformity was the centrality of Russian culture under the Czars and the new Communist government. That Russian Revolution which affected American Constitutional government was the desire of Russian/Soviet Marxists to export their transformational revolution to the entire world. In America’s case too many closet Communists became a part of positions of influence in both government and culture.
Senator Joseph McCarthy in the beginnings of the Cold War went from a hero exposing Communists and/or Soviet-Communist sympathizers in these places of influence to being painted as a nut-job witch-hunter that ruined lives more than protecting the government and Americans from Marxist transformationism. History has shown that Joe McCarthy was closer to being correct than being a witch hunter that destroyed innocent lives. Bipartisan powerful politicians and Executive Branch Establishment-minded leadership began to fear the stigma of hiring Communist sympathizing functionaries. A Left oriented Mainstream Media sympathetic to a Socialist paradigm also began assaulting McCarthy. A better a truism might drove McCarthy to alcoholism thus ruining a patriot’s life.
There are bad people who desire to destroy America and our way of life initiated in the great experiment of a Constitutional Republic initiated by our Founding Fathers. The primary assault on America in the 20th and 21st centuries has been interpretations of Marxism and Caliphate-minded Muslims. We as Americans need to get behind some kind of balance between National Security and Constitutional protections we call our Civil Rights. Since 911 the government has evolved from a protective nature to ignoring the Rights ingrained in the U.S. Constitution. I believe government abuse caused by a misplaced enthusiasm to hunt down Islamic Terrorists (I guess our fearless leader would call them Enemy Combatants). That government abuse has filtered into policing domestic criminals such as thieves, bank robbers, various levels illicit drug distribution, murderers and so on.
Domestic policing ALSO has led to ignoring the Constitution’s Fourth Amendment pertaining warranting search, seizure and attacking personal property. Yesterday I managed to get to an old email from the Rutherford Institute written by John W. Whitehead. The email begins by relating true incidents in which police have erroneously invaded homes of innocent citizens which resulted in deaths. I am not talking about police officer deaths. I am talking about police officers shooting to death citizens who believed their home was being invaded by criminals.
And this is how I am going to end my thoughts on the Fourth Amendment. Read Whitehead’s article and be prepared to be outraged by the abuse of power.

Keith Ellison is the first Muslim elected to Congress. Rep. Ellison represents Minnesota’s 5th District as part of the Left Wing Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party. Typically Left Wing politics is anti-religion and anti-Christian in particular; however the Minnesota Leftists must look the other way relating Islam. Ellison’s devotion seems to be affiliated to what has become known in the USA as Radical Islam due to the Radical Muslim organizations he seems to associate with.
With that short introduction of Keith Ellison I discovered that Ellison fired off an accusatory letter to Rep. Michele Bachmann that is running in a redistricting situation in Minnesota’s 6th District. Ellison’s letter is related to another letter sent and signed by Bachmann and Reps. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, Thomas Rooney, R-Fla., and Lynn Westmoreland, R-Ga. concerning Muslim Brotherhood infiltration in the Obama Administration with the mention of an aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton – Huma Abedin. Left Wing media has been defending Abedin as a U.S. born citizen and a University graduate of George Washington University. The Leftist goal of course is to make Bachmann and her fellow Republicans look like bigots. The Leftist fails to mention Abedin’s parents moved to Saudi Arabia when Abedin was two years old. So between two and attending GWU Huma Abedin was under the influence of the Radical Islam of Wahhabism not to mention she has family in Egypt all connected to the Radical Islamic Muslim Brotherhood.
Keith Ellison was under the impression Bachmann only had one source who of course Islamic apologists believe is a Muslim hater just because he writes about the truth about the dark side of Islam. Ellison’s misguided belief gave him the bright idea to send his letter to Bachmann demanding apologies for what he believed to be a lack of evidence for Bachmann’s call for an investigation.
Bachmann Responded to Ellison with sixteen pages of source citations. Below is the account I found at WalidShoebat.com.

Danny Jeffrey via Facebook linked to a PDF document of Congressmen asking General Charles McCullough of the office the Director of National Intelligence to explain why the Muslim Brotherhood is infiltrating Intelligence community of the USA. Under the apparent leadership Rep. Michele Bachmann and four other Representatives also sent similar letters to DoD, Department of Homeland Security, DoJ, and the Department of State.
The constituents of these five Congressmen should be proud their Representative is not lying down to allow President Barack Hussein Obama to place people linked to the foreign Radical Islamic group known as the Muslim Brotherhood (MB). The MB is a nefarious Muslim transnational organization that has the agenda to establish a global Caliphate that would emulate the historical Caliphates that spread Islam as a cancerous empire killing, maiming, raping their way to empire followed by the brutal indoctrination of the conquered to create the atmosphere forcing the conquered to choose Islam. The other choice of the conquered was to continue their non-Muslim under the circumstances of the acknowledgement that Islam was superior and must be submitted to Sharia Law OR death. The early Caliphates called this despotism “protection” and that humiliating protection required a special tax called jizya. If the jizya was not paid then the dhimma was open to brutal theft, maiming, raping, slavery and/or death.
This is the transnational goal of the MB for the world. Along the way to promoting a global Caliphate the MB’s stated goal is to destroy their Western enemies especially the USA by infiltration and subterfuge by using democratic representation as a Trojan Horse against the government that exists to protect the Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness of American citizens.
I believe President Bush touched on the advisorship of radical Muslims under the good intention of extending American representation in order to transform radical Muslims into admiring the Liberty and toleration of the American Republic.
Then there is President Barack Hussein Obama that was raised under Islam in Indonesia and so understands the Muslim mind. There is no wishful thinking from BHO and yet he continues to place Radical Muslims in the U.S. government.
This is where Michele Bachman, Trent Franks, Louie Gohmert, Thomas Rooney and Lynn Westmoreland. These Congressmen/women are demanding to know the reasoning of the Obama Administration by querying the government Departments in which Radical Islamic infiltration can be a threat to American National Security.
I took the time to OCR the link to the PDF document of the letter to the Office of National Defense Intelligence. You can read the other letters in the links provided above. The letter to NDI says there is a translated attachment of Muslim Brotherhood sermonizer Muhammad Badi (or Mohammed Badei, etc.). There is no such attachment in the PDF file. If you so desire to read the attachment I do not have it. Here is a MEMRI link that is supposed to be the same translated Badi sermon.
After you read the Congressional letter to the DNI I am also cross posting Pamela Geller’s thoughts which should bring a bit more clarity to what is at stake.
For a little extra reading on MB goals to The Counter Jihad Report and check out this link about MB Gradualism as the plan to Islamize the world. For a bit more in depth study on the nefariousness of the MB read The Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Report.

Hon. I. Charles McCullough III
Office of the Director of National Intelligence
Washington, D.C. 205ll
Dear General McCullough:
As you may know, information has recently come to light that raises serious questions about the impact on the federal government’s national security policies and activities that appear to be a result of influence operations conducted by individuals and organizations associated with the Muslim Brotherhood. Given that the U.S. government has established in federal court (1) that the Muslim Brotherhood’s mission in the United States is “destroying the Western civilization from within” — a practice the Brothers call “civilization jihad” 4 we believe that the apparent involvement of those with such ties raises serious security concerns that warrant your urgent attention.
We deem it imperative that your office also conduct an investigation of the extent to which such influence operations may have contributed to a fundamental misunderstanding of the Muslim Brotherhood by U.S. intelligence — which could, in turn, have contributed to the policy community’s susceptibility to subversion at the hands of the Brothers and their allies (2). In this regard, we note that the “Supreme Guide” of the international Muslim Brotherhood, Muhammad Badi, in September 20l0 openly called for jihad by all “the Arab and Muslim peoples” against the United States. See Muhammad Badi Sermon, September 30, 20l0 (translation enclosed).
As noted in “The Muslim Brotherhood in America: The Enemy Within,” a product of the Center for Security Policy (www.MuslimBrotherhoodinAmerica.com), of particular concern is the testimony provided the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on February 10, 20ll by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper. On that occasion, he declared:
“The term ‘Muslim Brotherhood’…is an umbrella term for a variety of movements, in the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried Al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam. They have pursued social ends, a betterment of the political order in Egypt, et cetera…. In other countries, there are also chapters or franchises of the Muslim Brotherhood, but there is no overarching agenda, particularly in pursuit of violence, at least internationally?
Still, the question exists, to what extent does such a statement reflect the direct influence within the intelligence community of Brotherhood operatives? Alternatively, has the approach of U.S. intelligence towards organizations — abroad or at home — that are associated with the Muslim Brotherhood been shaped by the policy community’s willingness to engage that group, a sentiment it appears may have been influenced by determined efforts by the Muslim Brotherhood to penetrate and subvert the American
government as part of its “civilization jihad”?
These sorts of activities strike us as deeply problematic with respect to the national interest and security, and are within the scope of your duties under Section 2 of the Inspector General Act of 1978, as amended, “to conduct and supervise audits and investigations relating to the programs and operations of the [Office of the Director of National Intelligence] and . . . to provide a means for keeping the head of the establishment and the Congress fully and currently informed about problems and deficiencies relating to the administration of such programs and operations and the necessity for and progress of corrective action.”
Accordingly, we request that your office conduct a formal investigation or evaluation of the extent to which Muslim Brotherhood-tied individuals and entities were involved in any of the above-mentioned activities, have helped achieve the adoption of the above-mentioned policies and initiatives, or are otherwise involved in the execution of these policies and initiatives.
In your report, we request that you also answer the following questions:
(1) Within the programs and operations of the establishment for which you serve as Inspector General, has the Muslim Brotherhood — or has any individual associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, directly or indirectly – ever renounced the “civilization jihad” objective of the Muslim Brotherhood in North America? (3)
(2) How is the Muslim Brotherhood active ir1 the “programs and operations” of the establishment for which you serve as Inspector General — (a) through what specific individual and organizational agents, (b) whether or not the specified individuals involved (e. g., Mohamed Magid, President of ISNA) are U.S. citizens, and (c) what is its/their relationship with the international Muslim Brotherhood, whose “Supreme Guide,” Mohammed Badie, in September 2010 openly called for jihad by all ‘“the Arab and Muslim peoples,” against the United States? (4)
(3) In light of the statutory duty of Inspectors General “to provide a means for keeping the head of the establishment and the Congress fully and currently informed about problems and deficiencies relating to the administration of such programs and operations and the necessity for and progress of corrective action” (IG Act, Section 2(3)), we request that you recommend in your report “corrective action,” consistent with the Constitution and laws of the United States, to ensure that no Muslim Brotherhood- associated entity or individual is placed into a position of honor or trust within the programs and operations of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Please forward your recommended “corrective action,” including a discussion of its consistency with the Constitution and laws of the United States, together with your other findings, to the undersigned in unclassified and, if necessary, classified form within 90 days of your ·receipt of this letter.

Congressional Leaders Call for Investigations of Muslim Brotherhood Infiltration of the US Government

Five Members of Congress called for an investigation of the infiltration and influence on government agencies by the Muslim Brotherhood, something Atlas has been covering for years. This is the first step, finally, in the defense of the insidious and treasonous stealth jihad.
The five members of Congress were Rep. Michele Bachman, a member of the House Intelligence Committee and Chairwoman of the House Tea Party Caucus; Rep. Trent Franks, Chairman of the House Judiciary’s Subcommittee on the Constitution and a member of the House Armed Services Committee; Rep. Louie Gohmert, Vice Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security; Rep. Tom Rooney, Deputy Majority Whip and member of the House Armed Services Committee; and Rep. Lynn Westmoreland, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee’s Oversight Subcommittee.
The sharia-compliant enemedia has ignored the story, but that’s to be expected. Contact your Congressman and urge them to support this investigation. Make it happen.
Today, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN-06) and Congressmen Trent Franks (AZ-02), Louie Gohmert (TX-01), Tom Rooney (FL-16) and Lynn Westmoreland (GA-03) sent letters to the Inspectors General of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and the Department of State. These letters seek answers about the U.S. government’s involvement with the Muslim Brotherhood, a group that calls for “civilization jihad.”
In the letter, Bachmann, Franks, Gohmert, Rooney and Westmoreland questioned the Inspectors General about the direct influence within the intelligence community of Muslim Brotherhood operatives. They explained that the U.S. government in federal court has established that the group’s mission in the U.S. is “destroying the Western civilization from within.” The members went on to request that the respective offices of the Inspectors General conduct a formal investigation or evaluation of the extent to which Muslim Brotherhood-tied individuals or entities are involved.
“The national security of our country depends on getting straight answers from the Inspectors General to the questions we posed in these letters,” said Bachmann. “The Muslim Brotherhood is not shy about their call for jihad against the United States. We seek answers through these letters because we will not tolerate this group and its affiliates holding positions of power in our government or influencing our nation’s leaders.”
“Evidence indicates that this administration continues to bow before groups associated with the goal of ‘destroying Western civilization from within,’ and about whom the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has found that there is plenty of evidence indicating that they support terrorism,” said Gohmert. “For departments of this administration to continue meeting with such groups and agreeing to further blind our government agents charged with looking for enemies wanting to destroy us is at best foolhardy. At a minimum, we need an independent inspection regarding the role, the roots and the results of such destructive groups within this administration. Our enemies have been identified; now we need to know what they have done to our ability to protect ourselves.”
“The Muslim Brotherhood openly calls for violence against the United States, but we’re learning that this organization may be infiltrating our ranks, even within our military,” said Rooney. “We need our top security agencies to investigate thoroughly the degree to which members of this organization are active in our defense and intelligence communities, and what impact that has on our national security.”
“We must always stay vigilant when fighting against those who want to destroy our way of life,” said Westmoreland. “The Muslim Brotherhood may not have the name recognition of al-Qaeda or the Taliban, but that does not mean they don’t have the potential to be just as deadly. I’m hoping these letters will send the message to our country’s intelligence, law enforcement and diplomatic agencies that we cannot ignore the Muslim Brotherhood and must look into their operations and membership with the seriousness that is necessary in order to root them out of our government.”
Founded in 1928, the Muslim Brotherhood’s motto reads, “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
Signers of the letter serve on the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (Bachmann, Rooney and Westmoreland), the Armed Services Committee (Franks and Rooney) and the Judiciary Committee (Franks and Gohmert). Additionally, Gohmert is the Vice Chair of the Judiciary subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security.
Copies of the letters are available here: Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and the Department of State.
